TELEMUNDO Y MÁS (#1): La Doña 1, El Señor de los cielos 7, y más: Week of December 30, 2019
Welcome to Page 1 (Monday edition) of the Telemundo y Más page, issued twice a week: Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00 PM.
Here are the current evening telenovelas (all times are Eastern Standard Time):
9-10PM - La Doña 1 (Abridged)***
10-11PM - El Señor de los Cielos 7***
***All the evening telenovelas on December 31 will be pre-empted by movies.
As Juanita posted last week, Telemundo will be running a shortened version of La Doña 1 this week as well. For those who didn't see Season 1, it's an opportunity to catch up with this modern-day version of the classic Venezuelan novel: Doña Bárbara. Season 2 will begin on Monday, January 13, 2020.
Everyone is welcome to join in the conversation. Since discussions of all the Telemundo novelas share the same page, please remember to put the name of the telenovela you're referring to at the top of your post so readers can easily find the conversation they're looking for.

Dondi356: Happy 2020 to you! Let's hope the new year can produce interesting & intriguing results.
1.) Isturiz & Luzma make out again. She needs to get rid of that choker around her throat.
2.) Valdes & Super Javi meet face-to-face at the nightclub. Hmmm: I wonder if the Casillas family knows about this meeting ?
3.) El Chema's son is also at the meeting having rode along with Super Javi.
4.) Joaquin hiding from El Capo's henchmen.
5.) As this was going on, Joaquin calls Evelina on something stupid; he also makes secret calls with Amado & the Casillas family.
6.) Ojeda, Dalila & El Capo start planning on how to take down the Casillas family. We've seen this movie before.... it never works.
7.) Earlier: Diana is released from custody & reunited with her lover Amado. Colonel Alfaro gets chewed out by Castillo LOL.
8.) Over at DEA HQ in the DF: Navarro talks to Refugee Chick about the consequences of working & associating with Ambar & Co.,
9.) Refugee Chick's kid eats some sandwich.
10.) Carla talks strategy with her news production team at the TV News Station.
11.) Berenice still on that shopping trip. She's downright annoying.
12.) No appearance from annoying Andrea.
13.) Izzy & Laura enjoy watching over their daughter.
14.) Violeta enjoying calling El Capo, who is getting pissed off with Joaquin.
15.) No appearance from Colon & Corina. Although we'll see them sometime this week.
16.) Rutila is AWESOME.
17.) Jaime getting uptight with Castillo over something. As this was going on, his secret DL lover walks downstairs to show him the underpants or swimsuit.
18.) Berenice still doesn't know Jaime is on the DL & a druggie.
19.) Castillo orders Mexican Army soldiers to find the cameras at Los Pinos (he's going to figure it out that BPN & Jaime whacked Mayra).
20.) Castillo barges into Navarro's office: demanding to have the disgraced former Mexican President BPN (who was ousted in military coup d'etat last Season) arrested.

I am beginning to remember why this chick should be in jail..
also. I am still.. 'pissed off'...at how the rich in these telenovas,series only get a slapped wrist, or a personal loss.... and the poor are slaughtered!!!

I have finally settled on La Dona as my next telenovela, mostly because I love Rebecca Jones--ever since her very moving Para volver a amar. Hope she doesn't get bumped off in this abridged season 1.
