Diego was there with his aunt she's telling them that the video and issues with Madonna should be put in the pass …okay, however Diego you are in the wrong place at the wrong time...
AG tells him to get the hell out… she grabs him by the collar and mugs his ass …shouting ‘get the hell out ‘……your father is responsible for my daughter’s death …..where the hell is your no good goddamn papa….. and she smacks the sheeeit out of Diego Isabel tried to step in it…. I don't know why …. she didn't even know... Monica,
Really?! miss Isabella… you need to stay in your lane!! this is Monica's mom ... cousin
Sebastian is at the hospital checking on his Half dead sister... he knows he must keep a low profile …and then he stands right next to one of Braulio’s killers… I think you're going to kill Sebastian sister
Back at the funeral Isabella is going to home with junior psycho Ted Bundy trainee…
he's given her BIG RED flags. WITH some of his responses …she's ignoring, HIS TOO QUICK smiles and couple of kisses and then retract this statement... quickly qualifying whatever the hell he's got to say in platitudes………...he is most likely Thinking…. dumb bitch!!
Alfonso drinking and driving to the funeral …
Madonna and the whole family are there …. she’s leaning on the doctor that should've married Monica…. Monica you could've been a doctor’s wife and y had a better life
Music is very nice Leon notices Alfonzo…. Leon go get that car number... get that license plate number!!!

Well, last night's episode seemed to drag on forever. And then I remembered that this week each day the novela will run for two hundred hours. Or perhaps just two. :-) Anyway, Here are a few things that happened, I think.
Ed (Eduardo Perez Urresti), Nav Jr.'s partner in filth, is warned that the police are coming after him. He sets a fire in the men's room at the Navarette company where he works and flees in the ensuing chaos. Leon and Karen, who have come after him, don't spot him, but Noelia (who has been waiting in the car outside the building) does spot him and gives chase. (Yawn) Leon and Karen see that Noelia isn't in the car and realize that she must have seen Ed and chased after him. So they head off in pursuit.
Ed hides in what looks like an abandoned warehouse, Noelia goes in after him, hits him hard with a metal pipe she conveniently picked up after entering the warehouse. However, Ed had sent Nav Jr. a message telling him where he was and asking for help. Nav Jr. comes in and is about to shoot Noelia when Leon (who has just arrived) fires his gun but doesn't hit Nav Jr. Nav Jr. fires back, hits Karen, and escapes, as does Ed. Karen is rushed to the hospital but the wound isn't all that serious.
There's a lot more (yawn), but it was all I could do to stay awake for the second hour. Suffice it to say that Angel, Leon's son, is devastated when Leon doesn't appear at Angel's school presentation. His mother, Fátima, takes him home. He's sick. She decides that enough is enough, packs her things, and goes with Angel to live with her mother (who had not been happy when Fátima married Leon).
Meanwhile, Altagracia is doing another of her loosie-goosie spiritual cursing sessions using the blood of a sacrificial rooster, with the help of some male loosie-goosie specialist. Lots of candles, chants, etc. (Yawn)
Nav Jr. and Eduardo decide to zero in on Leon's family, esp. Angel (of course), as a way of dealing with Leon. Nav. Jr. also shows Eduardo a "present" he has for him--a young woman tied up in the trunk of the car. Eduardo isn't interested.
Felina offers to help Diego look for Braulio. Diego tells her they have a house in Cuernavaca.

La dona 2. Juanita: I totally agree that this double episode seemed to go on endlessly. It almost makes me happy that the show will be superseded by the State of the Union tonight. A while back, when La Fan was canceled and went completely online so that people could see the end, I watched the episodes online. If La dona 2 met a similar fate, I wouldn't bother.

I’m not feeling very motivated to recap or comment about this show. Maybe it’s because Altagracia is such a seriously flawed protagonist. Maybe because Saul and Monica are gone so quickly. Then there are the disgusting Rainbow Killers and snuff video stuff. So many annoying characters, too. Double episodes are not going to help.
I like Leon (maybe because it’s Carlos Ponce) and his family, Karen and Noelia’s pistol packin’ mama. I’m curious to see what Felina is up to. There was a hint of Regina and Daniel getting together and I’d like to see that happen.
I’m also continuing with Magnificent Century when I find time and I’m trying to keep up with two current Turkish shows online.
I wish I liked La Doña 2 more. I will stick around in hopes I will eventually get hooked into the story.

Dondi, I felt as if you were reading my mind! I so completely agree with what you've said. I'm continuing to watch almost in spite of the slimy plot, mostly so that I can continue to hear Spanish, and also because, like you, I enjoy Leon/Carlos Ponce and the other characters you've mentioned. I keep hoping that eventually Telemundo will offer something appealing at 8 or 9 pm.
