Welcome to Daytime TNs! This page is being provided to give
those who are watching daytime TNs on any
channel a place to discuss any of the TNs aired prior to 6PM. If you would like to contribute a recap or
just some highlights for a daytime TN, I’m
sure there are those who watch the same TNs that would appreciate it.
This page can also be used as a forum to keep in touch, discuss
strolls down the Caray! Caray! memory
lane, or anything else that is of interest to the patio.
Please remember that ANY daytime novela can be
discussed and everyone is welcome to join in the conversation. Friendly
reminder to PLEASE put the name of the telenovela you're referring
to at the top of your post so readers can easily find the conversations
they're looking for. (You can shorten the title to one word, i.e., “Vecina”; “Amores”)
"Daytime TNs" will be posted on
Mondays only. There will be a different page posted on Thursdays with a variety
of topics for week-end discussion.

While watching PATM today, there was a promo for l Médicos". ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.D.:_Life_on_the_Line ). starting in July. No other information as to whether is will be a daytime or evening show.

I am looking forward to this despite Daniel Arenas whose past characters have either been immature or just plain jerks.

Interesting that Daniel Arenas is playing another doctor. He just played one in MMTF/MMTMF. Is he being type cast??? Hmmm . . .
Well, if Arenas is frequently being typecast as a doctor, he can check my blood pressure any time. 😊
Something new to watch would be nice. I haven't been watching much lately in the daytime. No need to watch PATM since I saw the original broadcast.
I've been busy playing nurse and housekeeper at home. Hubby had heart bypass surgery 12 days ago. He's doing fine, but he used to do many of the household chores he's not allowed to do right now. Plus, he needs/expects 3 meals a day so I stay busy.

I’m pretty sure Médicos is replacing Amor Eterno and I believe it starts on July 14th.
I agree with UA about Daniel. I didn’t watch La Gata or Corazon Indomable but I know that they weren’t considered great telenovelas. And his character in Teresa was more so of a jerk than an evil villain.
Thanks for making this thread by the way. All of the telenovelas I’m watching right now are reruns on both Univision and UniMas. I actually didn’t get into Amor Eterno. I didn’t originally watch Fatmagül so I’m watching it now. So I’m looking forward to watching a new telenovela
I agree with UA about Daniel. I didn’t watch La Gata or Corazon Indomable but I know that they weren’t considered great telenovelas. And his character in Teresa was more so of a jerk than an evil villain.

I only know Daniel Arenas from MMTF/MMTMF, but I enjoyed seeing him as he seemed such a nice guy. But the idea that he might raise someone's heart rate comes as quite a surprise. I learn a lot here at Caray :-)
Now Ana Brenda in LQNPA, that's a different story. A thoroughly hokey, irredeemably silly story, and the show shamelessly uses the beautiful Ana Brenda to wallpaper over all the silliness... but I'm not complaining.

Don’t need that in these problematic times. TF, great to see you here. I also heard a promo last night about Medicos starting on July 14th at 9PM.
Jarifa, Medicos IS about doctors, but I think the core of the show resolves around their personal lives rather than on their patients.
