The best:
ANY scene with Lola eating and squirreling away more peanuts, chasing the balloons, announcing to the casino that Chachi IS HER DAUGHTER, telling Mariana that Atilio is alive, and out of sight loudly complaining about taking a bath.

The good:
Chachi telling Mariana that she is NOT Atilio’s daughter. Mariana actually starting to THINK about that.

Yadira backhanding Chachi after getting slapped.

Lucrecia storming the door to Atilio’s room.


The bad:
Lucrecia being mealy mouthed and bamboozled one more time by Marcia and not telling Mariana And Iggy about Atilio ASAP. Lucrecia wondering if she has feelings for Atilio. Really?

Iggy being all indignant about his wifey doing her job.

Any scene with Chachi, Cannot she just go and play in traffic?

Mariana’s friends debating whether to tell Mariana that Atilio might be alive.

Iggy deciding to sign papers for his divorce from Mariana That should be “precious”.

The ugly:
Having to watch creepy Atilio sniff and caress Mariana’s belongings and clothing.

Having to see Carol (Iván’s secret weapon) go to work seducing creepy Atilio.

Lucrecia just not being able to tell Iggy about Atilio. unbelievable.

Well, I definitely had my Lola fix. The writers more than made up for the past couple of episodes where she was not seen.

Jarifa, you are spot on with the good, the bad and the ugly. I just want to add to the LIli scenes. She was hilarious! My favorite was when she was fidgeting because she needed to go to the restroom. And did you notice that she asked where the “jardín” was? Have to give credit to the writers, they did an impressive job. I would have loved to see Lola actually go into the restroom and ask “What is that?”

RgvChick, yes! and that question sure would have been good and totally in keeping with her character. Lola just steals the scenes because the actress and the writing for her is so good.

RGV Chick: Creepy Atilio is very creepy: The dude kills Mariana's biological family many years ago, then becomes obsessed with Mariana that he kills anyone who is close to her, etc.,

That business of rolling around in Mariana's suite and sniffing her undies, etc., was really too much. I know actors often say that playing a villain is more fun than being one of the bland good guys, but this must have been a tough role.

And among the many unbelievable things in this telenovela is that Isabel still has no clue that bro Atilio is the one who killed her beloved fiance.
I suspect Mejia and company are saving that revelation till anvil time.

I have not yet been able to see the entire two hours -- yes, I have now -- but the first half is great fun, with a few exceptions.

I'm trying to take Atilio's creepy sniffing and such as laughable, but it's hard. He just does creepy too well.

I find it hard to believe our little Mariana is comfortable enough being something of a honey trap for guys in the casino. But she does seem to bring them good luck, which is odd.

Marcia is just so strange.

Lola was very funny, then quite sad. The whole story of her and Chachi is very sad.

Carol is very good-looking, but why does Iván dress her up like some poor strung out streetwalker who's out trying to make enough money for her next fix?
Ah, yes, now I see! Easy-off clothes.

Andy, guess Carol is willing to use any of her “skills” to get the job done for Iván. I started to make a list of everything I find unsavory in this novela but stopped because it kept getting longer and longer. This has been a “different” kind of novela experience for me at least.
 

MARIANA

Uh, oh. It looks like Mariana's schedule is going to be changed for a while due to, I think, fútbol.

Monday and Friday look to be normal schedule, but the other days are 9 - 10 AM (ET).
That is IF Unimás has its own schedule correct  :-)

Unimás won't let me see farther ahead than this week. Zap2it, on the other hand, says that LQNPA will be in the 9-11 ET slot the following week.

I doubt that, but who knows?  :-)

Wow, watching telenovelas is an adventure. Who knew???

Andy, thanks for the scheduling update. At least they are showing it and not cutting it. Sometimes zap2it can be so good but others . . . Guess they have to depend on what the networks send them. Uni Usually can’t keep up with its own website.
