Caray, Caray!

 Casa Cantu

Elisa squawks at Majo and Leo about their shrinkwrap-the-boyfriend plan, and they both tell her everything isn't about her. (Yay!) Majo also announces that she's acting like an estupida, which I guess could be considered an expert opinion.

Elisa doesn't trust Leo. Pot, kettle, etc. Vic tries to throw him off the property, but Elisa says that's her job. Majo tells Vic that Leo is her playdate, and to quit trying to run her life. After all, she can't keep her sedated all the time. (Um, isn't she doing a pretty good job of that herself?) This earns her a big fat slap. Vic looks regretful, but I think she just broke a nail.

Casa Adriana

JL materializes in Adri's living room, which is creepy enough, then starts telling her how much he loves her and doesn't want anything to happen to her, which is even creepier. He lets it slip that Tere asked for a divorce, and Adri suddenly wakes up from her boss-trance and realizes she doesn't want to be sloppy seconds. She tells him it's over. Out on the Patio, the spindly legs of the Adriana table begin to tremble.

Constructora

Fab proposes a job-sharing deal to Elisa: he will take Majo to the uni while she takes care of getting Ren out of the manicomio. (Jaja, you thought they were actually going to do some work?) Meanwhile, Eu is tormenting Fer in her office. She finally asks him what's his damage anyway, and he tells her this is just bidness and she's his bidness.

The silent confrontation bell rings and everyone swaps partners. Now Eu is trying to convince Fab to try to convince Elisa to leave Ren in the nuthouse. Fab opines that their real concern should be Dario, now that he's threatened Victoria and all. QUE QUE QUE??? 

Eu takes a bunch of goons over to Cobra's hideout, and they hold him down while Eu gut-punches him and then literally sticks a pistol up his nose. "How dare you threaten my family? Victoria is my family. You are just an employee. Never call me papa again." Well, that's a plot-advancer for sure.

Then for dessert, he goes over and evicts Carmen and Juanito from the apartment. 

Manicomio Not-Now

Mau sneaks in to see Ren. She's pretty out of it, but he strokes her hand and tells her that he will protect her. After all, he did such a great job with the leaf.

When Elisa arrives in the morning with her guardianship papers, he's waiting in the entryway, zipped up into a hoodie and not standing out at all. He tells her he has urgent info for her, but the nurse says it's not visiting hours and whisks Elisa away. 

Ren is reluctant to go, although technically she should be more reluctant to stay -- after all, Victoria can't operate on her. She tells Elisa she remembers some of what Mau whispered to her. She knows about the abortion, but doesn't seem to know about the hysterectomy. She tells Elisa to talk to Mau, but when Elisa goes back to see him he has been conveniently drugged. 

Fiscalia

After Leslie confides in Leo that she and Tere are afraid of JL's escalating violence, Leo goes to the Police Station to confront him, which goes about as well as usual. On the way out, he runs into Adri, and the Patio heaves a huge sigh of relief. He tells her she deserves better than his brother, which is so manifestly obvious no further comment is necessary.

Leo gets called into his boss's office for an update. (Is this in a different building? Does it matter?) His boss tells him that the gallery investigation is frozen, but as soon as it's unfrozen, the next order of business is...arresting Elisa. Leo's boiled-egg eyes get a little eggier.

Uni Parking

Fab drops Majo off at college, but she wants to go in alone like a big girl. He says he promised Elisa that...oh, so you're doing this for Elisa? Well, good luck with that, because she's still hopelessly in love with Leo. 'Bye now.

When Majo's out of sight, Dario sidles up with his sidearm and calls Fab "bro." He then explains precisely why that is not just an expression. Cara muy impactada de Fabradoodle. 

Back at Casa Cantu

Ren is back in her room, clinging to the maid like a life-raft so she won't be alone with her mother. The maid lets slip that Elisa's downstairs talking to some girl, and Vic's off like a shot. So many playdates! So hard to keep track!

Elisa is in the study, pleading with Adriana to trap Cobra when he arrives to fake-rob the gallery for the insurance money. Adri says she can't do it alone. She needs Leo; he's the only one she trusts. 

Vic is lurking outside the door, which contrary to all Telenovela Law is actually closed. Hmmm...can she read lips? 

In other news:

* Sonia pokes her little red nose out of the front door and sees a gorilla, so it's six more weeks of winter house arrest.

* Sara remembers again it's her house and reassures Tere she will not let JL put her out into the street. 

* Majo tells Elisa Mom's gettin' jiggy with the Tio. Elisa, of course, refuses to believe it because all he's ever done is try to help them and LALALALALALAICANTHEARYOU.

* Fer tells Fab she can't tell Elisa she needs time off to take care of her dying mother because...she's already told El her mother is dead. Somehow this turns into another diatribe about what a terrible person Elisa is, but I don't think Fab's listening anymore.

* Majo's never had a real boyfriend, so where is she getting all that menswear?

* JL follows Tere and sees her meeting with Reynaldo. Ruh-roh. 

* Wardrobe clearly got a wicked good deal on a shipment of black pleather.
