- Esme & Dalia spat over Don Patricio.

- Bere & Luisa spat over who's going to ask Artemio for more sandwiches for the vaccine kids.

- Sandy uptalks Leo to Val and downtalks Remi and Mateo.

- Raul's wife bursts into the press conference Leo's giving about Val and demands to know what he did with her husband. Basurto threatens her back at the station.

- Remi weeps to Mateo that Leo wants him to lie to Val EVEN MORE, and Mat's all que que que? All Remi will tell him is that he and Val grew up in a bad neighborhood and that he knows secrets about her that even she doesn't know.

- In a conversation between Esme & Magda it comes out that Esme wasn't always "the other woman" -- she has more than one love in her past -- and the Mags had an affair with a married man and he took their daughter and gave her to his wife.

- Eva rages to Art that she's not signing anything, she's not giving back the property he put in her name for whatever nefarious reason, and if she tells all she knows about him he'll be sweeping streets.

Poor Remi. I'm sure Mateo will be right on this because he never lets anything sit for long. I just hope this doesn't lead to violence.

I was actually confused about Eva's situation, so thanks for clarifying that. I wish she would tell more about him because corruption flows fro the top down.

Episode 76 Recap (Part I): Apologize for being late due to non-stop blackouts in San Antonio, TX.
1.) Episode 76 begins with Daddy Elizalde talking to Fernanda, Jackass #1 Annibal,Jackass #2 Camilo about the business negotiations with Franco's company.

2.) We see Franco walking to his vehicle, putting his suit jacket & briefcase in the backseat when he reads the note Fernanda gave to him during the meeting earlier.

3.) Back at Casa Santorro: Eduardo/Franco nags about Fernanda & Damian's embrace from the other night to Steve, Jr.,

4.) More nagging from Franco/Eduardo.

5.) Going back to Grupo Lactos, we see creepy Vlad knocking the door & letting himself inside Fernanda's office with the dumbass idea that she get back together with Damian LOL.

6.) Body Language tells me Fernanda is feeling awkward about creepy Vlad & wants nothing to do with him, Damian or his family of moochers.

7.) Law enforcement will catch Damian sooner or later because it's only a matter of time....

8.) In the meantime back in Pueblo Purification: we see Aurora packing her personal belongings in suitcase while Santiago helps her.

9.) During this time, we see Aurora showing Santiago her drawings from her choldhood.

10.) Santiago & Aurora hug for the umpteenth time LOL. Just wait until Jackass #2 Camilo schemes to bust y'all up.

11.) Ardiane Diaz (apologize for butchering her name) did a great job portraying Aurora in this Telenovela.

12.) Meanwhile we need Maury Povich to make some guest appearances to reveal the biological parents of Aurora.

Episode 76 Recap (Part II)
13.) Over at Casa Santorro: Gardenia escorting Padre Bosco to the outdoor patio.

14.) Apparently Padre Bosco isn't thrilled about all of the security guards at Casa Santorro.

15.) Over at Grupo Lactos: Psycho Barbara giving us her most epic Oscar worthy performance ever & YES: Daddy Elizalde is gullible & plain STUPID!

16.) Commercial breaks ensue & are plain boring.

17.) Opening credits ensue: Fast Forward!

18.) Now back at Grupo Lactos: Fernanda accidentally runs into Florencia, who loses some papers & documents. Fernanda apologizes.

19.) Psycho Barbara smirking & I get some thrill seeing EVIL female Antagonists in Telenovelas & cannot help it.

20.) In the meantime over at Casa Santorro: We see Padre Bosco not thrilled with Eduardo/Franco over the increase in security. But Eduardo/Franco strongly believes it's necessary due to Artemio's thugs almost whacked Padre Bosco the other night.

21.) Steve, Jr., Gardenia, Padre Bosco & Eduardo/Franco talking.

22.) Damian getting uppity with Nagging Moocher Ursula at Vlad's crappy apartment.

23.) In the meantime over at Grupo Lactos: We see gullible Erika barging inside Fernanda's office & the topic is.... Franco Santorro!

24.) We also see Erika helping herself to Fernanda's chair & Fernanda's like "WTH ?"

25.) Body Language tells us Fernanda is NOT thrilled about seeing Franco & Erika together.
 

QT #28

There are two additional points:

Dalia confronted Tirso o the possibility that he is Angelita's sperm donor. She also suspects that Sabina killed Amara. This conversation ended with a slap.

Berenice told Padre G that she is going to the fair with Officer Chacho Moreno. There is evidence that Padre G is jealous.

Parentage Issues:

Mateo: Believed to be the son of Esme and Don Patricio
Angelita: Daughter of Sabina; Don Patricio is believed to be her father, but Tirso is a possible candidate.
Lorenzo: Completely unknown, as there is no backstory about him. Since there is allegedly a missing heir, could he be it?
Valeria: Now revealed as daughter of Magdalena; father still unknown.
 

MEPS, QT and LFDD are being preempted today because of soccer. I will share highlights from yesterday’s episode of LFDD in a separate comment below.

QT #29, Part 1

- Mags confesses to Padre G that her cover story about her married lover taking her baby isn't true; she left her with her sister to pursue an offer of work -- but she was a victim of human trafficking, and by the time she escaped neither her sister nor baby could be found.

- Mat confronts Sandy in front of Val for lying for Leo. He tells Val Remi is her best friend, and Leo is treating him badly.

- Esme rips Aaron a new one for "selling himself" to the Montes family. She says from now on he's just a customer, not a friend.

- Bere asks her mom to make her dress a little less matronly, but when Chacho shows up and admires her in it, she doesn't look particularly happy.

- Sandy walks in on Leo in nothing but a towel, and then Sab walks in on them both. Sandy leaves; Sab stays for a little slumber party.

- Padre G gets an anonymous magazine clipping about a rural priest who leaves the order to start a family with the woman he loves. He accuses Bere; she points to Luisa. Bere is reading the Confessions of St. Augustine.
 

QT #29, Part 2

- Dalia catches Sab & Leo coming out of his room and confronts Sab about betraying Patricio and questions Angelita's parentage. Sab says Tirso made the whole thing up. Dalia tells Tirso he can only work outside -- don't come in the house.

- Val goes off on horseback to revisit the crash site and finds her diary. "Remi IS my best friend!"

- Remi calls up the doc for a little friendship, but he says he can only help him medically.

- Leo & Sandy argue about whose fault it was that Val went off by herself. Leo reminds her that he's the boss and she's just an employee, but she points out that "if anything happens to Dalia"(!!!) it will be HER fiance who's in charge of the whole Montes fortune.

- Artemio wants Fercho to take the fall for...something. (It can't be the shots fired at Tirso & Mags, because he was in jail that whole time, right?) In return, Fercho wants to know what happened to Raul and Chango, but Art says forget about them: you're never seeing them again.
 

LFDD #82/83

- Lucia returns home and is told what happened between Ivan and Camilo.
- Camilo is on the phone with his mom who is with Carolina and she explains to him about someone needing to accompany Carolina to the city for her operation. Lucia tells Camilo that SHE will go with Carolina with or without his permission. Camilo is sure Lucia will ask Ivan to go with them.
- Arcelia tries calling Ivan but talks to Tony instead and tells him the situation. He will rent a plane and accompany Carolina and Lucia.
- Camilo tells Carmen that he arranged with JJ for Saul to marry her. Unsurprisingly Carmen says hell no to marrying Saul. Carmen walks out as Camilo tells her that he won’t back out of the deal as JJ promised to help him win the presidency of the association.
- Camilo tells Lucia why he and Ivan fought - because Ivan told Camilo to give Lucia the divorce- and she agrees maybe they should divorce not because Ivan said so but because their marriage has become a living hell. Camilo yells that he will never give her the divorce and will fight for custody of Perla.
- Carlota discusses her conversation with Tony with Lucrecia. Lucrecia doesn’t want another family scandal by Lucia divorcing Camilo and getting back together with Ivan. Maripaz overhears this conversation.
- Maripaz sneaks into Camilo’s room pretending to want an apology for hitting her. She flirts with him under the guise of getting back at Lucia and Ivan. They start kissing.
- Carlota goes to Camilo’s room and catches him with Maripaz. She promptly kicks Maripaz out and Lucrecia and Lucia rush to see what the ruckus is. Lucia is stunned.
- Carlota wants Lucia to immediately file for divorce but Lucia refuses as she is leaving the next day with Carolina and will her exam after she returns. She believes she’s not innocent either when she sees and talks to Ivan frequently. She just wants to live in peace with her daughter. Carlota still thinks it’s wise for Lucia and Camilo to separate.
- Carlota kicks Camilo out saying that he should stay away for Lucia for a bit and also fires him from his position as administrator of the ranch.
- Ivan visits Antolin and tells him that the lawyers are working to prove Antolin’s gun was stolen. Antolin thanks Ivan for the help with Carolina.
- Carolina is prepped for surgery. Tony plans to call Ivan to drive down and pick them.
- Arcelia and Ivan tell Antolin about Gerardo’s will leaving everything to Carolina.
- Camilo complains to Antolin about Ivan and Antolin advises him to accept that Lucia loves Ivan. Camilo tells him what happened with Maripaz. Camilo blames his actions on being a man with needs. Antolin tells him he’s never pressured Carolina but would never go find someone else to fulfill his needs.
- Ivan tells the lawyer that his father is now covering the expense of Carolina’s operation and that money was not a motive to accuse Antolin of the crime.
- Carolina’s surgery was a success.
- Ivan tells Tony he might not be able to pick them up and may send Benito.
- Camilo finally tells Arcelia why Carlota kicked him out. Arcelia is furious. Carmen walks in and mentions she heard Camilo was fired and Camilo has to confirm that to Arcelia too.
- Arcelia tells Ivan that Camilo and Lucia separated

- Carolina is worried about Antolin
- Ivan arrives in the city to pick up Tony, Lucia and Carolina. He tells Tony about Camilo and Maripaz
- Lucia is surprised that Ivan is there.
- David introduces Berenice to JJ. Berenice tells JJ she isn’t worried about David’s ED problem lol
- Carmen visits Antolin then later goes to see his lawyer. Camilo scolds her.
- Carolina regains her sight.
- Lucrecia tells Carlota that JJ will marry her (L) and will give Ester the divorce.
- Lucia admits that Ivan will always be in her heart. They kiss.
- JJ visits Ester to tell her that he will give her the divorce.
- Ivan, Tony, Camilo, and JJ discuss the Antolin/Saul/Carmen situation with the lawyer. JJ doesn’t care if Saul goes to jail but warns that Carmen will be implacated.

#84/85

- Carolina visits Antolin telling him about her successful surgery
- Carmen and Saul give their testimony
- JJ goes into a diabetic coma.
- Carlota and Lucia take Perla to visit with Ivan and Alex
- Maripaz deletes Lucia’s thesis from her computer
- Antolin is transferred to prison
- Camilo and Maripaz have another roll in the hay
- Antolin gets the upper hand on his fellow inmates who try and attack him
- Camilo is angry at Ivan and Tony over Antolin’s situation
- Ivan offers to help Lucia recover her thesis on her computer
- An inmate gives Antolin information on El Gordo
- Camilo finds the mechanic who helped Antolin when his car broke down

- The inmate agrees to help Antolin in exchange for something
- Ivan is able to recover Lucia’s thesis
- Lucia agrees to let Ivan visit Perla
- Carlota calls her lawyer to have Maripaz removed from her will
- Lucia tells Lucrezia that she’s not inviting Camilo to her thesis presentation ceremony
- Carolina finds out about Antolin being sent to the main prison
- Camilo informs the lawyer he found the mechanic but there’s still the issue of the gun and El Gordo is on the run
- Carmen tells Camilo that Lucia’s thesis presentation ceremony is happening
- Lucia and Berenice pass their exam. Camilo crashes the ceremony
- The inmate testifies in favor of Antolin.
- Lucia tells Camilo she won’t get back together with him. She tells Ivan she will file for divorce.
- After initial skepticism the judge agrees to take the inmate’s testimony into consideration
- Camilo and Maripaz are in her hotel room when Lucrezia catches them
- JJ wakes up from the coma.
- Carolina officially regains her sight.
- Antolin is declared innocent and released from prison.

Thanks BlueLass for the recap! It cleared up several things for me and was concise and clever. I'm following this novela now. We have another Padre Hottie in our midst, with all these women chasing him.
 

LFDD #86/87

- Carolina is emotionally hearing that Antolin was released from prison
- Antolin calls Ivan to ask about Carolina
- Ivan and Carlota chat
- The Galvans visits the patriarchs grave
- Ivan and David talk about JJ and what will happen within the association
- Antolin and Arcelia talk about the marital problems and status between Lucia and Camilo
- Carolina gushes over how handsome Ivan is but is obviously more emotional seeing Antolin with her own eyes.
- Lucrecia isn’t happy about the prospect of Camilo becoming president of the association
- Ivan and Lucia decide to give their relationship another chance but take things slow
- Camilo is jealous of Antolin’s plans to propose to/marry Carolina and live with her. He tells Maripaz that her dad left his house to Carolina.
- Maripaz tells her mom and grandma that she will contest her dad’s will
- Antolin threatens Maripaz that he will turn her in for killing the woman with her car if she tries to take the house away from Carolina.
- Tony encourages Ivan to visit JJ in the hospital
- Camilo is named president of the association
- JJ experiences memory loss and doesn’t recall treating Ivan badly when he was younger.

- Ivan tells Tony about his visit with JJ
- Lucrecia tries to discourage Lucia from divorcing Camilo now that he’s president of the association otherwise he could ruin them.
- Ivan suggests to Lucia that they do the DNA test on Perla so that when she divorces Camilo he won’t fight for custody.
- In a drunken stupor Camilo tells his mom about him now being able to have money and power like Ivan.
- The lawyer advises Ivan and Lucia to not be seen out in public together while the divorce proceedings are ongoing between her and Camilo.
- The lawyer calls Camilo and Camilo blows up saying he will get his own lawyer and fight Lucia’s divorce petition.
- Tony visits JJ
- Antolin inquires with Camilo what his position in the association will be.
- Lucrecia refuses to have it known that Camilo had an affair with Maripaz but agrees that a DNA test should be done.
- In discussing Ivan’s grudge against JJ, Tony reveals his own wife cheated on him before dying years later.
- David goes to see Ivan to talk about JJ.
- Ivan and Camilo have a verbal confrontation about the ongoing divorce situation.
- Camilo receives the divorce papers.

Episode 77 Recap (Part I)
1.) Episode 77 has Vlad talking & comforting Priscilla in the bed, we see she's having some contraction issues.

2.) Back at Casa Santorro: Steve, Jr., & Jacinto discussing strategy on hiw to stop Jackass #2 Camilo.

3.) Lovely & Martina arrive at Casa Santorro. Both got put on full-blast by Nagging Gardenia.

4.) Jacinto welcomes both Martina & Lovely.

5.) Steve, Jr., is intrigued by the beauty of Lovely while he's greeted by Martina & Lovely.

6.) Over at Vlad's crappy apartment, we see Damian overhearing the conversation between Vlad & Priscilla.

7.) Franco & Fernanda greeted by Farming Dude & his granddaughter.

8.) Both Franco & Fernanda arrive at one of the compounds of the Elizalde Mansion.

9.) Back at Casa Santorro: Nagging Gardenia still nagging about Lovely & Martina. Jacinto tells her to calm down & be quiet.

10.) Steve, Jr., offers Lovely & Martina refreshments. We can still see Steve, Jr., is intrigued by Lovely.

11.) Small talk ensues between Steve, Jr., & Lovely.

12.) Episode 77 goes into steady diet of boring commercial breaks.

13.) Opening credits ensue with the annoying singing of Alejandro Fernandez.

14.) Sounds like Steve, Jr., & Lovely will be endgame. Not only after some difficult roadblocks.

15.) We still see security guards on the grounds of Casa Santorro.

16.) Once again Steve, Jr., is still distracted by the beauty of Lovely.

17.) In the meantime we go back to the Franco & Fernanda meeting where the discussion begins with Franco asking Fernanda about her recent conversation with Damian from several days ago.

18.) It seems that Franco is not only snooping, but obsessive compulsive when it comes to Fernanda LOL. Little does she know you're really Eduardo Juarez posing as a fake businessman named Franco Santorro.

19.) Fernanda explains the situation regarding her failed marriage with Damian.

20.) Going back to Vlad's crappy apartment, Vlad gives Priscila a glass of water. Only a matter of time before the baby comes out.

21.) Over in the living room, Damian & Vlad get into an argument regarding Priscilla. Apparently, Damian is NOT thrilled about Priscila staying in the apartment.

22.) Vlad gets confrontational right back saying Priscila is the mother of his kid.

23.) Just then Priscilla walks in on them, she's surprised Damian is there.

24.) More commercial breaks from Univision LOL.

25.) More conversation between Franco & Fernanda.

26.) We go back to the boring conversation between Franco & Fernanda.

27.) No appearance from Liliana.

28.) Psycho Barbara demanding to see EVIL Doctor. The special assistant is freaked out.

29.) Special assistant explains that Dr. Orbregon is having some schedule conflicts.

30.) Psycho Barbara wants to know about latest developments on Liliana. Special assistant doesn't want Liliana to be disturbed.

31.) Psycho Barbara leaves the mental institution clinic.

32.) Evil music whenever Psycho Barbara is seen is intriguing.

33.) Back to Franco & Fernanda: Fernanda asks Franco on what he really thinks about Psycho Barbara.

34.) Franco's body language is all alarmed & raging.

35.) Hot & bothered by the pestering questions, Franco explains some boring stuff about Fernanda's evil StepMommy.

36.) We then see Fernanda getting all Buji AGAIN.

37.) No appearance from Santiago & Aurora.

38.) Closing credits showing Artemio Bravo plotting sinister schemes.
 

QT #30, Part 1

- The Padre offers Remi sanctuary, but when Remi finds out there's only one bedroom at the priest's quarters, he feels the need to confess to the only person in Alternate Sonora who doesn't already realize it that he's gay. Padre is less concerned about this than the fact that his St. Augustine book has gone missing.

- Bere is rude and snappy to Chacho when he stops by to confirm their date. Other than nice shoulders and a steady job, what does this girl have going for her? I'm baffled.

- Tirso and Art both try to get Magda's attention at the cantina, but she's "working," which in this instance means using a magic marker to write her phone number on the forearm of a guy young enough to be her younger brother. Esme tells Tirso that if he wants Mags, he'd better treat her right. She tells Art that he's not welcome until he comes up with a suspect in the shooting, and he says he has; he's just waiting for Tirso to come by and do the ID.

- Val asks Leo if she was such a bad person that she only has one friend and it's SANDY. Leo tells her he should be all she needs. Not helpful, dude.

- Mateo breaks up with Sandy. She's not the chica he fell in love with anymore -- he doesn't recognize her since she started hanging around the Montes.
 

QT #30, Part 2

- Lorenzo brings Esme a bouquet of red roses but is too goofy to tell her anything about the sender and just keeps asking for peanuts. There is a card, but all it has is a quote along the lines of, "Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."

- Sandy bursts into Val's bedroom and tells her it's all her fault that Mat called off the boda. Val is ridiculously nice and goes to make Sandy a nice cup of tea. While she's gone, Sandy finds her diary and realizes that if Val gets all the way through it, the jig is up. Before she can do anything, Minerva bursts into the bedroom and tells her the help can't be alone upstairs -- "things go missing." Ha ha.

- Val detours by Mat's place on the way to the teakettle and dresses him down for breaking up with Sandy. She demands to know why, and he tells her it's because of her. She doesn't take that well, and he ends up telling her to leave. These two are not a fun couple, but the freeze-frame almost-kissing is classic.

- Leonel and Dalia argue in the office about who's the boss of whom. It gets heated, and Dalia suffers a swoony adverse health event. Leo seems concerned, but he's probably just pretending.
 

QT #30, Part 3

- Aaron seems to be having a blast singing & drinking with the Official Widow. Dalia tells him not to come crying to her when Minnie wrecks his life. She asks him to go have a surrogate-father-to-adopted-son talk with Mat, who's having girl trouble.

- Aaron asks Mat if he's really in love with this girl. He susses out from Mat's non-answers that there's more than one girl, so he asks if Mat's really in love with THAT girl, or is it just a hot-pants situation.

- It seems we have a village-wide fair coming up, which should be an opportunity to get everyone in the same place at the same time for all kinds of mayhem. I vote for more horses and less shooting. AND ABSOLUTELY NO MORE SHOOTING OF HORSES.
 

QT #30

Gracias, Blue Lass. This story has ticked off about half the total Bingo squares already.

It will take a while for Mateo to shake himself free of Sandy and Berenice needs to not lead Chacho on. I don't know if he is honest or corrupt or even if Art would approve of her marrying him, since he is only a small-town cop. Part of Padre G's appeal to Berenice would be his level of education, but I suspect also his usual empathy. The way he was watching her when she helped the little girl who was afraid of injections says that he sees the same traits in her.

Poor Remi must feel very lonely in this environment. I want Valeria to recover her memory mostly for his sake as well as hers.
