Caray, Caray!

QT #43, Part 1

- Art yells at Eva for letting their daughter traipse around after Padre Gabo. Eva appeals to Chacho for help with Bere, but he's fed up.

- Sandy needs an excuse to hang around the hacienda, so she says she'll run Leo's mayoral campaign.

- Val texts Mat in the middle of the night about her memories of the steamy photo session, but he says it was just bidness.

- Val asks Leo for some of her money to feed the orphans. She isn't interested in going back to modeling.

- Remi counsels the Padre to stop running from his past.

- Servando delivers an expensive bottle of tequila to Basurto and hints that he should look the other way on Remi's assault. Basurto agrees to do that if Leo will stay away from Mags.
 

QT $43, Part 2

- Bere trashes her diary and runs off somewhere. Yawn.

- Luisa tells Art she's not coming home.

- Tirso menaces Sab some more: he's coming to pick up Angelita for school in the morning, and he's telling her the truth.

- Minnie tells someone on the phone that the money has been wired for the false DNA results. Then she sets a match to the real ones, which say that Tirso is NOT Ange's father. Hmm...who, then?

- Val takes off on horseback -- well, barely -- to see Surem. La Chula is wearing some pretty little...I dunno, horse-spats?
 

QT #43, Part 3

- Sab sucks back a lot of pills and a moderate amount of bourbon and records voice-message suicide notes to Dalia ("Take care of Angelita! Keep Tirso away from her!"), Angelita ("Patricio loved you so much! And if I'm not around, they'll take pity on you and let you stay in the hacienda!") and Leo ("If only she could have been our daughter! I have made many mistakes, and now I must pay!")

- Remi tells Mags that Val is her daughter and that her childhood was very hard. Mags asks about her sister -- does he know what happened to her?

- Padre Gabo shows up at the pension with a letter from Berenice that was hand-delivered by Lorenzo, but she's gone. There's a lot of screaming, but not much information.

- Big dramatic ending: Cori trips over Sabina; Leo tries to revive her; Aaron doesn't pick up; Minnie calls an ambulance; Angelita starts squealing; and Minnie pockets Sab's phone with the voice memos on it.
 

"MEPS" Episode 90 (Part I):
1.) Episode 90 begins right where we left off as Psycho Barbara manages to get Damian & Fernanda going to the Hotel Marriott together.

2.) Back at J & M's, Florencia complains to Jacinto & Mags that she knows what she saw: Vlad, Priscila & Damian at the apartment complex.

3.) We heas to the Elizalde Mansion: where we see Priscila knitting some full barn of yarn as Aurora watches & Santiago paints portraits.

4.) Now back at Jacinto & Mags' house: Jacinto & Mags unsuccessfully try to stop Florencia from telling Fernanda on what she saw earlier in the day.

5.) Hotel Marriott: Damian tries to explain his side of the story as Fernanda looks annoyed.

6.) In the meantime at the Elizalde Mansion: Daddy Elizalde sees Psycho Barbara being all happy go lucky as she smiles that she brought Damian & Fernanda back together.

7.) We also know this plan was concocted with the intent of destroying Franco Santorro in the process.

8.) Once again more of Damian & Fernanda: Fast Forward.

9.) Casa Santorro: Jacinto informs Eduardo/Franco & Steve, Jr., that Florencia saw Vlad, Priscila & Damian at the apartment complex.

10.) Eduardo/Franco & Steve, Jr., look stunned by this revelation.

11.) Once again more of Damian swooning Fernanda LOL.

12.) The Redhead goes off on Damian.
 

"MEPS" Episode 90 (Part II)
13.) Daddy Elizalde & Psycho Barbara in the master bedroom. She must be so DAMN good in bed LOL.

14.) The red dress Psycho Barbara is wearing WOW.

15.) Stupidity of Daddy Elizalde continues to amaze me.

16.) Gaslighting of Aurora continues as she freaks out over a fake voodoo doll on her bed.

17.) How far will Psycho Barbara & Jackass #2 Camilo up the ante ?

18.) Back at Hotel Marriott: Damian pours glasses of champagne for himself & Fernanda.

19.) Sounds like law enforcement will find out where Liliana is hiding at. I hope Eduardo/Franco has some security guards on standby.

20.) In the meantime back at Hotel Marriott: Damian still has the wedding ring, he seems so sure the Redhead will take him back. Good luck with that.

21.) Casa Santorro: Eduardo/Franco thinking about Fernanda.

22.) Next morning: Fernanda taking a hot bubble bath in the bathroom while Damian goes through her purse & sees the cell phone (goes through the cell phone & phone calls): he sees the name Franco Santorro.

23.) Psycho Barbara takes Aurora to some creepy Old Hag Witch. I see this as the next phase of destroying Aurora non-stop.

24.) Aurora: You have no idea you're getting played for a jackass!

25.) Casa Santorro: Nagging Gardenia talks to Steve, Jr., & Eduardo/Franco on something.

Good work, Blue Lass.

I nominate Leo as Ange's sperm donor. Poor kid. I can't wait for the fallout.

I doubt Sabina will die. While I don't think much of her I'll back anyone who gives Minnie migraines.

Minerva always snatches up any opportunity to control or mess up the lives of those around her. Smirking all the while.

The horse-spats must be some kind of support device--unless they're purely fashion.

So now Mags knows who her daughter is. How will she build a relationship?

If this series is going to run 150 episodes the smart money says it will be at least 50 more episodes before Matt's parentage is revealed. In the meantime I hope that Remi is able to protect Val and Magda now that Val has decided to become a small-town girl who helps orphans and likes grooming and riding pretty horses.

Leo will ultimately have to be revealed as the killer of the two missing men. Wondering now whether Minnie will spew that while holding her pet chot glass in the presence of Aaron and/or Basurto.

Remi needs to be the facilitator of the reunion of Magdalena and Valeria. He needs to talk to both of them individually and figure out where to begin. I have confidence in him.

This could be the beginning of serious change in that town.

For all that we don't like Sab she does love Ange. Often in fiction loving the child is dependent on loving the other person who contributed the DNA. The big However inall this is that both of Ange's parents have committed murder and how will Minnie react if Leo turns uot t be Ange's sperm donor?

UA: In other words, the Body Count will increase if Univision intends to run this Mexican Telenovela for like 150+ episodes or longer IF it's popular with the viewers.

I do recall the Argentine original was like 373+ episodes correct ?

Tito has to be like 10 or 11, right? And he'd only been in the orphanage about a year. So why hasn't anyone asked him HIS MOTHER'S NAME?
 

"MEPS" Episode 91 (Part I)
1.) Daddy Elizalde trying to act all tough with Jackass #1 Annibal. Good luck with that old man LOL.

2.) Scary old witch reading the cards of Stupid Aurora.

3.) Something tells me Psycho Barbara is paying Scary Old Witch lots of $$$$$.

4.) Artemio still mourning the "death" of Aurora. Creepy Dude: she's alive & well...

5.) Jackass #2 Camilo pushing the trigger buttons of Santiago: Fast Forward.

6.) Santiago FINALLY has the guts to stand up to EVIL Big Bro & sucker-punches him, but we all know Jackass #2 Camilo will retaliate soon!

7.) Erika still delusional if she thinks she & Franco will get married.

8.) Liliana & Venus playing cards: AWWW.

9.) Over at Las Animas: the BUJI, high society & upper class including fashionable elite show up to the party. Steve, Jr., did a helluva good job!

10.) Eduardo/Franco doing a mixture of Spanish & English.

11.) Erika & her parents show up at the party while Nagging Gardenia gives Eduard/Franco the stink eye LOL.

12.) Fernanda & Damian show up TOGETHER at the party, which annoys Eduardo/Franco!


 

"MEPS" Episode 91 (Part II)
13.) Venus has stomach problems ? Had no idea.

14.) Damian gloating about getting Fernanda back & kisses her in front of Eduardo/Franco LOL. The body language continues to amaze me as we also see Erika jumping in to say hello to her BFF Fernanda, who is annoyed at seeing Erika & Franco.

15.) Back at the Elizalde Mansion: Priscila's body language screams she feels GUILTY for framing Florencia for the corporate espionage & other illegal activity. Rolando (her brother) isn't having it.

16.) Eduardo/Franco informs Damian & Fernanda that Powhere Meelk has their own private island near Bermuda. Erika naively wants to use it for her own honeymoon (NOT HAPPENING GULLIBLE FOOL).

17.) Aurora asks Santiago how did Psycho Barbara come into Daddy Elizalde's life. What could possibly go wrong ?

18.) The Elizalde's show up at the party FINALLY.

19.) Eduardo/Franco & Erika mingling with the Elizalde's. We already see Psycho Barbara pumping Eduardo/Franco for information (which Psycho Barbara will use it against him later on).

20.) Nagging Gardenia still GOSSIPS to Jacinto & Mags.

21.) Jackass #1 Annibal & Damian still don't like each other. They understand each other.

22.) Nagging Gardenia still nagging about how law enforcement managed to drop all of the charges against Damian.

23.) Fernanda hiding in the bathroom for a long time LOL.

24.) Damian still standing outside & starts asking Fernanda what's going on when Psycho Barbara shows up.

25.) Naive Nagging Gardenia is an IDIOT to think Eduardo/Franco belongs to her. Just you wait BABY!

 

QT #44 Part 1 of 3

Leo put Sabina on the bed and tried to revive her. He roughly ordered Dalia to take Angelita out of the room.

Surem – the shaman in the woods – put Val into a trance. She saw herself riding a horse. She stopped and Leo grabbed the reins in front of her and jerked them to the side. The horse turned suddenly and Val fell off. Leo rode the horse away. She heard Surem's voice telling her to find her way. She had difficulty walking when she got up, as she had when she left the crash site. She then saw Matt, who looked at her and then walked away. She saw a dark-haired woman in the distance with a little girl. Was it Sab and Ange, or was she seeing her younger self with her mother or aunt? She then sat up, somewhat disturbed. Surem got her to lie down again.

As the doctors wheeled Sab into the emergency room Leo and Tirso almost got into a fistfight. Minnie watched as Leo blamed Tirso for Sab's suicide attempt. Sandy arrived, saying that her mother is freaking out over her missing sister. Minnie made some condescending remarks about small town crap, even suggesting that Berenice could be dead and buried somewhere. Leo got annoyed and told her off. Se also said that the suicide attempt was fake and attention-seeking. She walked off and sat down. Leo ordered Sandy to find Val and Matt. He stepped away and she tried calling both people, but only got their voicemails.

Matt visited the orphanage in Santa Rita where Ofelia (the woman in charge) explained that Tito wasn't like the other kids. He was afraid of nothing and determined to find his mother. The authorities were of no help because they had nothing to gain from this. All the while they talked the man Leo had previously spoken with watched and eavesdropped. Matt looked at him a few times with suspicion. Ofelia had Matt follow her to the office where she had more information.

Leo called Servando who had not seen Val, but noticed that the mare, La Chula, was missing. Leo seemed a little calmer as he ended the call. Minnie then handed him Sab's cell phone. She suggested he might find something important on it. Also, something had to be done about the child. Leo told her that Ange would be staying at the ranch until Sab recovers, full stop. Minnie sarcastically commented that he was being very nice to a child who is nothing to him. He exchanged dirty looks with Tirso on his way out to look for Val.

Lorenzo bought a shopping bag full of food and paid Facundo with a larger bill than Facundo ever saw in his hands.

Ofelia could not find Tito's file. Matt's grey cells increased activity.

Val woke up and Surem brought her some food. He told her she would find what she was looking for. She left in a state of peace.

Esme and Dalia went to the cemetery. Esme was creeped out. Aaron was at Don Patricio's grave asking him why he made him take Esme's baby. He said that her face lit up every time she talked about the child being alive. He accused Don Patricio of ruining Esme's life.... and his own. Dalia arrived with flowers and he clammed up.

Eva cried on the phone to Art, telling him that Berenice had gone. She blamed Padre G for this. When he ended the call he sent Baurto out to drag Padre G back. When Art was alone he swore to kill the padre.
 

QT #44 Part 2 of 3

Sandy went home and told Eva she had not seen Berenice. Eva asked what had gone on between Berenice and the padre and Sandy told her “The truth? Nothing.” She said more, that dating Chacho was the attempt to fight her obsession with Padre G. However, that did not work. Eva was upset that Berenice never told her about any of this.

Padre G read Berenice's letter which said that it was better that she leave and he stay. He put it back in its envelope and tried to think. Basurto and Chacho entered. Basurto told Padre G he was under arrest for kidnapping Art's daughter. Chacho almost lost it but Basurto held him off, then allowed him to cuff Padre G. Several women walked out of the church during this so the whole town will be running their mouths within minutes.

Esme and Dalia watched as an infant's coffin was dug up and opened. Esme cried at the sight of the remains.

Val sat under a tree and texted Matt about where she was and why. He texted her back to come home because it was late and he didn't want anything to happen to her.

Matt brought a huge bouquet of wildflowers to the saloon for Tia Esme. Magda told him she was out, where she was, and why. He had never been told that Esme had a baby.

Remi saw Juan on the street and thanked him for his help. The rest of the exchange was a little uneasy for both of them, more so for Juanito.

Leo walked around looking for Val. Then he took out Sab's cell phone and listened to the three recorded messages she had left on it. The one addressed to him confirmed that he was the man she had always wanted. She asked him to take care of Angelita and he asked himself why she was asking him to do this.

Esme and Dalia went back to the saloon and Matt asked about the cemetery. Both women said that now was not the time for this conversation. Esme cried harder. Leo called Matt.

Aaron told Minnie what happened at the cemetery. He had taken her advice [which makes us seriously disappointed in him] and his conscience was bothering him. Minnie was her usual dismissive self. She went on about Sab's suicide attempt with a “too bad she didn't die.” Tirso was the father of Ange. Aaron told her that Don Patricio could not have fathered Sab's little girl because he was rendered sterile in an accident. Minnie had not known that and he told her that Don Patricio was too eager to have another child so he had never told him. Minnie still didn't get the idea of a conscience.

 

QT #41 Part 3 of 3

Ange was in the barn, afraid of the possibility that her mother would die. She was also sure nobody loved her. Tito hugged her.

Confrontation between Leo and Matt about Valeria. Same BS, different day.

Art barged into Basurto's office as Padre G tried to explain that nothing happened between himself and Berenice. He was still cuffed as Art tried to start in on him. Basurto took him to a cell.

Dalia explained the exhumation to Matt. He was annoyed at discovering yet another example of a deadbeat father.

Aaron went to see Esme and his conscience was going to bother him still more because of the ongoing deception.

Ange and Tito played cards and Dalia took her back to the main house. Tito hid in the closet when Matt heard Sandy's voice as she gave him the third degree about Val. She would not believe that he had not been with her all day. She finally told him that Berenice was missing.

Val and La Chula appeared both tired and lost in the woods.

Leo sat at Sab's bedside, telling her what she did was unforgivable. And it has bothered him for years that Ange might be his daughter.

Of course, Minnie was eavesdropping right outside the door.

Thanks, UA! That certainly was a full day for everyone.

I loved Remi flirting with Juanito. That man has no shame. "It's okay; I don't bite. Well, maybe a little."

Did Mat call the big teddy bear he gave Sandi "Tito" just so if anyone overheard the name they'd think he was talking about the bear?

Lorenzo bought two of everything in the fonda, so I'm assuming Bere is with him. But where? We don't even know where he lives.

Lorenzo probably is the one hiding Berenice, but what is going to be the consequence of this? He has it bad for her and she doesn't return his feelings. This will be a worse setback for her, especially if he has hidden her anywhere in the church.
