Before posting the recap, I wanted to put up a comment for Kelly from earlier. I thought the same thing. Bruno was in jail; how could he be chosen over Loli. But when Vicente was gloating with Rufino and Bruno last night, he told Bruno they'd get his record expunged somehow.

La Suerte de Loli - #76 – Parte 1 de 3
From Wednesday: Loli is beside herself and in Bruno’s face. “You never spent any time, never showed the slightest interest in Sam and Nicky, not even when Mariana died. And…why now? You are only making an assistant’s salary. How are you going to…?" Bruno interrupts. "Money isn’t going to be a problem; the kids are going to be millionaires." Sam overhears and looks upset.
Loli: “You’re doing this for the money.” Nora: “Loli, my son is not capable of such a thing!” Loli: “You never had two cents to rub together; you were involved with shady deals; and now you want custody of my kids to get your hands on their inheritance! Bruno, you want custody for puritita interés (purely for the money)."
In her room Sam calls Gabriel. “Get me out of here!”
Rafa, Jess, and Leo are awaiting a visitor. Leo tells Rafa to leave everything to him; not any old guy is right for HIS niece. Joaquín arrives. Rafa and Leo look stern and then burst out laughing. Joaquín is the same sweet guy he always is. {Must have come from his mother.] He tells Rafa that, after seeing what he did for Nicky (the stay of execution), he researched Rafa. Joaquín says he didn’t know Rafa had been a journalist. He goes on to say that he’s interested in the arts; he’d like to work in the film industry. Leo jokes that when he becomes a success and a millionaire, he should remember who was in favor of his relationship with Jess! [Leo is looking like he’s completely gone from the dark side, IMHO.]
Bruno and Loli argue at her house. He says he’s picking up his niece and nephew tomorrow.
Rafa, Leo, Jess and Joaquín have a very pleasant dinner. Jess asks her father if he wouldn’t like to return to his first love, journalism. Leo tells his brother it’s time he thought of himself.
Domingo and Octavio discuss the fact that business is picking up. And Domingo says there’s been no sign of those “inspectors”. Victoria makes her THIRD visit without an invitation. [Does she have a bald spot; I never see her without that hat?] She asks about Nicky and then moves closer and suggests she’d like to be more than a friend. Octavio tells her he’s thinking about going to Rosarito and doesn’t want to go alone.
Bruno shows up to pick up Nicky and Sam. Nora comes running into the room and says they aren’t there. And Sam’s closet is empty. Loli then notices that her car is missing.
We then move to Sam and Gabe on the freeway, Gabe driving. He tells Sam that he, Christi and Sam will be in Mexico this evening. We then see Nicky hiding in the back.
Bruno calls Melissa, still in bed, and asks if “the kids” are there. He mentions the car. Melissa replies irritably that the triplets haven’t even been born, how could they have driven somewhere. FF>>>
Loli calls Rafa and asks if Sam is with Jess. Jess pretends to not know anything, but she has a sneaky look on her face.

When Loli wants to see if they’ve gone to the cemetery, as Nicky surely has done a few times, she asks Bruno to drive. He says he doesn’t have a car; the limo is still in the shop. [Marcelino took it, didn’t he? How can you tell when Bruno is lying? His lips are moving.]
Art and Mati have been to see Selma, and she seems to be adjusting well, and has even made some friends. Art tells Mati that a new wedding planner will arrive shortly. [Doesn’t he ever ask Mati if it’s convenient for him to meet with these people? And who has a wedding planner for a vow renewal?]
Cesar has come to visit Tomás, his dog and to take him for a walk. He announces that Dulce is paying him now; he needs money and can’t work for free anymore. He asks Rox to come along on the walk. Rox: “Well, unless your “boss” would object, especially with that baby in her panza. Cesar says this is none of Dulce’s business, and they leave.
Bruno and Loli arrive at Rafa’s place, shrieking at each other. Something is said about Bruno being scared to visit the cemetery. [Egad!] Loli tells Rafa and Jess about Nicky also being gone and he’s only 8 years old. She also tells Jess she’s sure that Sam overheard her talking with this…[pointing at Bruno].
Sam and Gabriel have arrived at a motel. He’s on the phone with Christi when they enter. He tells his sister that they have to wait a couple of hours for Sam to rest and that her (Christi’s) dream will come true. Sam is having second thoughts. She will miss Loli and isn’t sure she’ll like Mexico. When he says he’ll get work as soon as they get there, she tells him about the inheritance.
Nicky gets out of the trunk, wondering if he’s in Mexico. He leaves his stuffed animal in the car. He doesn’t know where Sam and Gabriel went. He asks an indifferent clerk if he’s seen then and then decides to wait in the lobby of the motel.
Octavio and Victoria are on the way to Rosarito, with Andrés in the middle. Octavio tries to engage with the kid, who ignores him completely. Octavio’s cell rings. It’s Loli. She asks him where Gabriel is. When Loli tells him what’s happened, Octavio pulls a U-turn. [Is that a classic El Camino he’s driving?] Victoria doesn’t look thrilled.
Rox tells Cesar after the walk how much better Tomás is behaving compared to when he brought him. Just when they’re seeming to get along well, Dulce looms up in the open doorway. She says she was concerned because Cesar didn’t pick up. She also says she misses Tomás, who was also her dog. [Didn’t she send the dog packing when Cesar moved out?] She puts her arm through Cesar’s.
Rox: “How’s the pregnancy going?” Dulce: “It’s delicate; but she wants to be useful, so she goes to the restaurant regularly.” Rox asks if she’s gone to the doctor or if she’s still seeing curanderas (traditional healers). Cesar pipes up that he’s been trying to get her to go to the doctor. Dulce remarks that she and her siblings were born at home. [Come on…at this point I’m sure she’s not pregnant.]
Mati and Art are meeting with the new wedding planner and start to quarrel about who is dragging their feet about adoption. [Once more, with feeling: Come back, Jack!]

Gabriel and Sam make love at the motel. They were both virgins, but it all appears to have gone well. He wonders if Mariana would have wanted someone better for Sam, someone from a good family. Sam assures him that her family is plenty weird and that her mother would have loved him.
Loli is looking at her phone and says she’s seen a peaje (toll) on I-95 South. Rafa opines that they’re going to Mexico.
Sam answers a call from Jess, who says she knows they’re going to Mexico. She tells Sam to call Loli and let her know that both she and Nicky are OK. Sam: “Nicky!” Christi finds the stuffed animal in the back and Sam urges Gabe to go back to the motel.
Romeo shows up to see Rox, and they do the deed.
Gabe gets stopped by the Highway Patrol. He is in a panic because he doesn’t have papers. After Sam presents some stuff from the glove box, the cop asks: “Who is Dolores Aguilar? Have you stolen this car?” Sam begins to feel faint and to clutch her chest. She calls Loli.
Bruno has found a soul mate. When Leo tells him he can’t seem to stick with anything and gets bored easily, Bruno agrees that things don’t cajuar (work out, take shape) for him either.
Cesar comes back when Romeo is still there, but we don’t see how this develops.
Octavio has one of his usual hissy fits, chewing out Gabe for taking Sam. What about her grandmother’s feelings?
Rafa has come along to bring Sam and Nicky home. Nicky says he needed to go along to take care of his sister and gets a thumbs up from Rafa.
Rogelio has come to see Loli. He tells her that, without GR, she’s como el pez fuera del agua (a fish out of water). He again assures her that he was assuaging his guilt when he first hired her, but then realized her talent. He tells her some impresarios he knows want to make her an offer; and that it was their idea. Two guys come in, and Rogelio introduces Loli as the best producer ever at Global Radio.
Rafa tells Jess she should have known better. Sam has a heart condition. Pau shows up to take Jess to school, saying she missed her during the weekend. [So are we to assume she went to Aspen and it was only for a weekend?]
Melissa has gone on another shopping trip with Gema, using Bruno’s credit card. She then tells Gema that she got a call from her father, asking her to take care of Gema and the baby. And that they’d likely never see him again. After Melissa leaves the room, Gema tells the baby that she thinks Marcelino has something planned and that he’ll return soon.
Loli comes to GR to tell Rafa about the job offer she just got. She says it’s the dream of every producer to open a radiodifusora (radio station) from zero. She’d do hiring the talent, programming, everything. Rafa: “Why aren’t you happier?” Loli replies that it’s in Miami. Rafa: “Are you going to go…to Miami?”

Terrific recap, novelera! You got everything worth getting, including some things I missed. And, of course, I'm grateful as always that you supply some useful Spanish. This time, I was especially interested in curanderas and cajuar.
Halimacandy beat me to it in calling attention to your delightful "How can you tell when Bruno is lying? His lips are moving." Perfect! I also enjoyed your suggestion that Juaquín's being a sweet guy "[Must have come from his mother.]" Yup. His father is clearly a first-class SOB.
It's beginning to look as if the budding romance between Octavio and Victoria may not last much longer (and that's perfectly fine with me!). She's not pleased when he turns the car around, but perhaps even more telling is the very cold reception he continues to get from her son. The son's response is understandable--he misses his father. But it doesn't bode well (at least, I hope not).
I agree with you about Dulce. I was never convinced she was pregnant, and her persistent refusal to see a doctor makes that suspicion even more likely.
Though I'm not unhappy that Sam and Gabe did the deed, I wonder whether they used birth control. I guess it's not impossible that Gabe, like many teenage boys, carries around a condom "just in case," but if that's the case, I wish it had been made clear. And if it's not the case...[let's not go there!]
I really wonder what Loli will decide about Miami. This being a telenovela, my guess is she'll opt for Rafa in LA. Since Jess is in LA, I suspect Rafa won't opt for Miami. Hmmm...perhaps Jess will decide to go to the University of Miami? Or perhaps the businessmen will agree to opening a new radio station in LA and wiping out the competition (which would no longer have the services of Rox, Rafa, and Loli, all of whom will join the new station). ???

I think we are all on to something: Dulce is a dirty rotten liar. There isn’t a baby and yes, she didn’t want Tomas. I hope there’s a big anvil for her.

So many funny comments and details in this recap novelera! HALIMACANDY, Victoria, Juanita and dondi356 already focused on the great ones, which are pretty much the entire recap!
When Victoria showed up yet again in that ugly hat and outfit, at night, I just wondered about her intentions other than being a stalker. That indeed was an original El Camino that Octavio has been driving around in the last 76 episodes! It is totally his personality!
When Cesar showed back up at Roxy’s when Romeo was there, Romeo (wearing his cowboy boots!) asked her if he should hide or answer the door? He was good either way! 😊
It does appear that Leo might actually be a good guy. Does nothing phase Rafa? I appreciate his calmness in most situations, but geez, a little emotion when Loli dropped the bomb about a new job in Miami would clearly go a long way! I actually prefer Miami to LA (no offense to our CA patio participants). I also think Loli will stay for Rafa, although I really wish it was Octavio.

Loli starts rambling, you know, the thing she does when she’s upset. You’re the first person I’ve told I don’t even know if I’m going to take it, she tells Rafa. I’m going through a lot of stuff right now. Why couldn’t this have happened before? Before Sam’s operation, before the idiot Bruno decided to fight for custody. Or before meeting you…
Ok, one thing at a time, Rafa tells her, the kids are going with you wherever you go. Sam will find a heart wherever she is. And I want you to be happy. If you’re happy, I will be, too. So do you think I should accept, Loli asks? No, what I think is you should think about it, Rafa replies. Take the time because this is something you want and it’s worth considering. Loli says there’s so much that is keeping her up at night.
Rafa tells her when I came from Chicago this incredible opportunity came to me, and I met you and it was amazing. Loli says this isn’t the same for her. She doesn’t want to leave the kids, her family or Rafa behind. Ok forget about it, Loli says, I’m fine like this. I’m not leaving. Rafa stops her from going off again.
He starts, what I propose is think about it, you have nothing to lose. You can’t make a wrong decision. If you want to go, I’ll be with you on it. We will find a way to make this work. That’s what Telenovela Airlines is for, he says. (No, he didn’t really say that, he just said “airplanes”) If you stay, I will be happy, too. In the end, I will support you. I’m here for you.
Octavio is ranting to his lawyer about what the kids did. Mario is sorry there was nothing he could do the speed up the process. If I hear anything I will let you know, he tells Octavio. Roberto comes in and asks why the lawyer was here. He is reminding me how hard it is for someone like me to become a foster parent, Octavio answers. Roberto suggests he thinks of other ways to adopt the kids. No, nothing illegal, Octavio says. Roberto says he could talk to his cop friends… Octavio gives him a stony look and Roberto says, never mind.
Pau is talking to Leo about the festival. Her first festival as president. She’s invested a lot of money and this has to be spectacular. Leo is looking at his phone and doesn’t look like he’s listening. Or maybe he is.. he tells her there are a lot of people working on this project. She mentions there have been a lot of people involved, Loli, Salvador-Loli’s ex, the podcast guy. The guy Loli was about to marry. That gets Leo to look up from his phone. What? Loli was going to get married? There’s a lot you don’t know about Loli, Pau says.
Vicente comes in. He has Aspen pics. We have to pick a cover he tells Pau. Leo leaves. Pau wants to see, she says that’s why she went to Aspen, to take pictures. Vicente is disappointed to hear this. He thought she went for other reasons: To be with him? To forget about Rafa? Pau doesn’t want to go there. Let’s move on, she says. He hands her the pics, he’s annoyed.

Sounds like Romeo. I was recently at a woman’s home when the ex she just broke up with showed and I hid under the bed while she talked to him. Rox realizes who it is. That sounds terrible, she says. Yes, the caller says, then she asked me to leave so they could be alone. Rox babbles, well, the girl was probably confused… Ok, next call…

Rogelio is with Nora. She’s telling him about what Sam did. Who knows what would have happened if Loli didn’t find them? But nothing happened, Rogelio says. It’s been so hard since Mari died, Nora says, I don’t want to fight with Bruno either. She tells him about catching Sam with Gabe the fight they had. I was only worried about her health, she explains. Romance will put stress on her heart. She told me to mind my own business.
Don’t take it the wrong way, but Sam may be right, Rogelio says. There’s more to life than looking out for their well being. Nora says that is her life. I’m their abuela and that’s my job. Rogelio says her job is to do what she wants. Do other things, like play the piano. She laughs. He tells her she could give lessons. He asks Nora to play something, and she obliges.
Back to Loli and Rafa. Before I make a decision, she says, I have to speak with the kids, Nora, my father. Then there’s the custody hearing. Rafa says to set a date and leave after you settle everything. He takes her hand and tells her, I… I’m in love with you. Whether you stay or go, that won’t change. Loli’s inner voice asks, did he say he’s in love with me? In love? She smiles and they move closer to kiss, but Vicente enters and ruins the moment.
Hi Loli, I didn’t know you were here, he says, it’s becoming a habit. I’m here to talk to Rafa, she answers. He mentions Rafa let her use his microphones for Nicky’s father and Sam running away. Rafa says he should have some benefits of being the president. Vic says he’s happy the kids are ok since there’s that custody fight going on. Imagine the trouble if they hadn’t been found?
Rox interrupts. She’s happy that the kids are ok, too. She tells Loli her good news. Her show will be on TV. Rafa says they have offers for Rox’ and Pau’s shows. We are diversifying, Vic says. Loli mocks, why don’t we start selling clothes or tamales? When did we stop being a radio station, she asks? Did you forget you no long work here, Vic retorts. [Yes, I think she forgot. It’s like she never left] Rox pulls her out of Rafa’s office to speak with her privately.
Loli tells Rox about her offer. Rox is upset, I’ll die without you. Loli says she hasn’t made up her mind yet. Rox catches herself, no, it’s not about me. You deserve the best, Rox says, you deserve success. Loli reviews her hesitancy—Sam, court, Rafa… Rox stops her at Rafa. He knows, she asks? Yes, Loli smiles, he told me he’s in love with me. Rox let’s out an eeeeeeee! He also told me not to worry and think about it.
Once again, Loli talks about the issues standing in her way. [enough with this!] Rox says if you and Rafa are destiny, it doesn’t matter if you are here or in Miami. Mati walks in, Miami? You’re going to Miami? [Thank goodness they cut the scene there. I couldn’t stand to hear about, the kids, Bruno, Rafa, etc. again.]
Bruno spots Rafa in the break area. You need coffee, Bruno chuckles, you’ve been running after fugitive kids. Rafa is not amused. This is happening because of your custody fight, he tells Bruno.
Bruno is sorry. He explains he’s only doing what he thinks is right and it’s what his sister would have wanted. [no Bruno, your sister wanted the kids with Loli] Rafa questions this. Bruno doesn’t want to start this discussion at the office.

Octavio promises his mother he will visit soon. Apolo overhears. Octavio doesn’t want to hear a peep out of him. Apolo’s not judging, he doesn’t want any more problems. But… he understands why Octavio canceled his trip because of the kids…. And Loli needed you, too. Apolo is saved because Octavio gets a call from Victoria. [she’s hatless!]
Octavio waves Apolo away but he just moves in closer to listen. She invites him for dinner at her house tonight. He would love it but he’s busy at Hunky Bar. Another time then. Apolo teases him. Octavio plays it down; he doesn’t need a girlfriend right now. Apolo disagrees, don’t you think it’s time to get over Loli? She just not into you. Are you waiting for a call, it’s Loli, I’m marrying Rafa, do you want to dance at my bachelorette party? Octavio looks sad. But I’m not judging, Apolo says as he leaves.
Mati doesn’t have time to stay and talk to Rox about Cesar and Romeo. He promised Art he’d be home early today. They mention the possibility of Loli leaving. Mati hopes Loli would stick around for this—and he gives Rox the invite to the vow renewal. Rox is excited. Mati knows she’ll think the whole thing is crazy, that he and Art aren’t getting along. No, Rox says she loves the two of them together and despite the obstacles, she hopes they spend many years together. Mati tells her to figure out who she’s bringing, because the invite is only for two.
Loli is home, pouring herself a tequila shot and replaying Rafa’s declaration of love. She needs Mari. I’m crazy about Rafa, she says, and you would have loved to see me in love. What do I do, she asks Mari for a sign. The doorbell. How fast! Not so fast, it’s Pau. I’m here because of a rumor I heard at the office, she tells Loli. I heard you got a job offer in Miami. Pau’s advice: Go. Go and be a success.
Bruno is looking at Sam’s social media page. He doesn’t even know her birthday. Vic sneaks up on him. Bruno is worried he doesn’t want the boss to think he’s on social media all day. Vic is very understanding—Bruno’s trying to get to know his niece and earn her trust. Vic tells him to hurry with the custody before they go to Miami. Miami? Vic informs him Loli got a job offer in Miami. He thanks Vic for the info.
Cesar arrives at Rox’ place. It’s his day to see Tomas Cesar has brought the baby’s ultrasound. [and why?] Rox thinks the baby is big. Cesar had the same thought. But babies develop faster these days, he says. [Another red flag. Did Cesar go with her? Viewerville remains suspicious. ] Rox says she’s happy for him [not for herself], a baby is always a blessing. Let’s hope the baby is healthy and welcomed with love. She says Cesar will be busy and not have time to think about their relationship.
Cesar says he thought Rox was the one forgetting about their relationship. Be straight with me, he asks. Is something going on between you and Romeo? Rox replies, define “something”… she babbles on. I understand, Cesar says sadly, I better go. What about Tomas? It’s better I see him some other time. Cesar leaves.
Pau visits Rafa in his office. He tells her he is going to rat out the governor. He lets Pau look at the story. Ok, she tells him, you realize the governor is going to come after you. He rejects that idea. Why not? She saw what he did in the Acuña case. He was confident, charismatic, composed. You have it all, you always have, she tells him.

Loli and the kids are at the cemetery. I guess they told Mari about Miami. Loli says she doesn’t want to take them right away. She will come back on weekends. Sam asks about the custody, what if her uncle gets it. Loli tells them to think positive. It won’t happen! Who will take us to school? Loli says there's Bruno and reminds them that Nora, Domingo and Octavio are still here for them. Sam says, don’t worry about us, we’ll be fine. Nicky says they will stay out of trouble. You heard them, Mari. If the kids give permission, I’m going to Miami.
I don’t know how you pulled off the miracle of separating Rafa and Loli, Angie tells Pau. Pau says, she had a helping hand from fate. With Loli in Miami and Rafa here, the relationship can’t last. All that’s left is for Loli to lose custody.

You’re con artists and I can guess who sent you. Augustin Llanos. The inspectors attempt to extort Octavio. He could reopen if he comes up with “20 large”. No way Octavio says. They give Octavio until tomorrow to think about it or else. Octavio tells them to get out.
Rafa and Leo are watching TV. Leo tells Rafa to cheer up, Loli hasn’t made a decision yet. He heard from Pau that he’s taking on the governor. Leo admires his brother for what he is doing. Leo asks him about having his own news show. Rafa says he would rather be an exec. What about writing a book, Leo asks? He could make a collection of his old articles. A particular story makes them think about “the accident” again. That dampens the enthusiasm. Anyway, Leo says, you’ve got a lot of material for a book. Loli calls and asks Rafa to come over. We have to talk.
Wow, Mel has finally popped. I wondered when that would happen, especially since she’s carrying triplets. Mel has a moment of lucidity and tells Bruno she’s worried. Can they take care of Carol, the triplets, and Mari’s kids? Bruno’s famous words: don’t worry I’ll come up with something. [be worried, Mel] Don’t forget about the inheritance, although, that’s not why we are doing this, he tells her. Mel cheers up and says maybe Mari is up in heaven pulling strings because family is important.
Octavio, Apolo and Dom are complaining about the corrupt inspectors. Victoria, with hat, shows up. Apolo wants and gets an introduction. The guys leave Octavio and Victoria alone. She’s sorry for just showing up like this [no she’s not], but she was worried. I never met a man like you, she says, who wants to be a father so badly. They talk about his kid situation and she moves in closer. She loves he’s like this. They go in for a kiss but get interrupted by a call from Loli. Miami? When are you leaving?
Mati and Art have a nice dinner. Art surprises Mati with information on surrogacy. What do you think? Mati doesn’t know. He says, I was excited at the idea of adopting, but this would make it more like ours. Do you have a mother in mind, Mati asks? Let’s have dinner first and then we can talk calmly, Art replies.
Loli has candles and champagne waiting for Rafa. She tells him, after thinking about it and having everyone’s support, including Mari’s, I decided to take the offer. Rafa nods, if that’s what makes you happy. I don’t like being far from you, he says, but I want you to be ok. I won’t stop loving you, she replies, and someone told me that’s what planes are for. We will figure it out. It will be difficult, she tells him, but I’m grateful for you and what you’ve been for me. You supported me and became my rock. I love you, Rafael Contreras. I love you, Dolores Aguilar. And they do what people in love do...

Loli and the kids are at the cemetery. I guess they told Mari about Miami. Loli says she doesn’t want to take them right away. She will come back on weekends. Sam asks about the custody, what if her uncle gets it. Loli tells them to think positive. It won’t happen! Who will take us to school? Loli says there's Bruno and reminds them that Nora, Domingo and Octavio are still here for them. Sam says, don’t worry about us, we’ll be fine. Nicky says they will stay out of trouble. You heard them, Mari. If the kids give permission, I’m going to Miami.
I don’t know how you pulled off the miracle of separating Rafa and Loli, Angie tells Pau. Pau says, she had a helping hand from fate. With Loli in Miami and Rafa here, the relationship can’t last. All that’s left is for Loli to lose custody.

Nora, Sam and Nick talk at the dinner table about Miami….
Octavio and Victoria go up to his apartment. You’ve been quiet since Loli called, she tells him. Loli gave him some info that blew his mind. She had to tell you? You’re obviously important to her, she says, or is it the other way around? [what right does he have to be jealous?] Loli is Nicky’s godmother, he reminds her, and I’m his father…well, like his father. The point is nothing is going on between us, he says. That’s a relief for Victoria. Good to know you are available, in case I decide to woo you one of these days, she flirts. What if I woo you first, Octavio replies. He takes off her hat and starts nibbling at her neck.
Nicky has a stomach ache and looks through Loli’s room for his pink medicine. He finds a bottle of pills and takes one. He gets in Loli’s bed.
Rox has lost her voice right before her show. She can’t make a sound. To make a long story short, Rox motions for Mati to take over. He declines. Rafa comes in. Rafa thinks back to what Pau said about him having a show. He decides to take the mic.
Loli is in Miami on her way to her hotel. She’s on the phone with Nora. How is everything? The kids? Great, Nora says, nothing to worry about. Then Loli hears in the background, will the family of Nicky Torres, come to the ER desk. You’re in the hospital? What happened to Nicky?
And we are out.

Muchísimas gracias, dondi356, for yet another superb recap. I loved "Rafa's" remark about Telenovela Airlines. I think that "Loli" said the same thing later on in the episode. :-) And I very much appreciated your "[no Bruno, your sister wanted the kids with Loli]." I was disappointed when Rafa didn't say that to Brainless Bruno. And I enjoyed your delicate "And they do what people in love do..."
We're very much on the same page about Dulce's sonogram. Either it's someone else's, or the baby really is Dulce's, but conceived at a time when she and Cesar were not sleeping together.

And what's with Rox's so-called program? We saw the whole thing, and it took at most 10 minutes before Rox abruptly called an end to it. Surely the program was supposed to run for at least a half hour. I don't think this is the first time she has done this, either cutting the program short or having music play for the rest of it. And she's still employed? And supposedly has a large following?
As soon as Nicky took that pill, I knew we were in for more trouble. Surely he has been taught not to take pills that aren't his. It's a good thing he's so cute, it's easier to forgive him for occasionally being as dumb as his Uncle Bruno.
I'm not sure why, but I have high hopes that Rafa's going after the governor will bring about some helpful revelations. I'm not sure about whom--perhaps Augustín? Or even perhaps Bertha?
I have one question. Was there evidence I missed that told us Loli was already in Miani when she had that phone call in the taxi? I had assumed she was on her way to the LA airport to take a plane to Miami.

And I too noticed that Victoria looked considerably older without the hat. I'm not sure it's the hat, though, that makes her look younger. I felt that the camera angles in the scene without the hat weren't kind to her, and so her face looked years older than she'd looked before.

How could even Cesar believe that that huge baby could be in Dulce's relatively flat belly?
I can't put my finger on the exact words, but I had the impression that Octavio had learned that the complaint about the bar hadn't really been filed with the LA Dept. of Health. And that the scammers Agustín paid just showed Octavio a complaint that was not filed. If these guys are in the habit of extorting bar and restaurant owners, not actually filing the report would guarantee that no higher-up caught onto how many fake "issues" they'd discovered.

Don't know if it has already been noted here, but "Cafe Con Aroma de Mujer" will have its Gran Estreno on May 25th! I know lots of peeps are waiting for this one :-)
