Ep 22: The Party Crasher Crashes! Part 1

We get a repeat of Serjerk telling Juleech that he won’t be able to make it and Juleech deciding to go look for him at his house. She leaves the restaurant quite drunk and barely able to walk…with a bottle of champagne in hand.

Eva sees Serjerk, asks if all is well and warns him not to mess up; he should put away his phone and be with his family…and win over his wife! After returning to the party, Serjerk keeps looking at Alicia who still looks somber and uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Juleech is driving to the party.

Back at the party, Alicia is getting to know Lorena when Yahya calls her to the kitchen. Fedora then approaches Gonzo and Lorena and tells then that they make a beautiful couple.

At the bar, Diablo advises Martin that going after Alicia is useless. It can’t work out and Alicia could be his mother! When Martin insists and comments that Alicia and SerJerk will soon be “exes”, Diablo tells him that he shouldn’t count on it.

At the party, Alicia stoically wishes Serjerk a happy birthday. Serjerk gets all mushy and thanks her for all the nice birthdays she has had with him. When he states that he is the happiest man in the world since he was afraid she would not accept him back, Alicia assures him that he is wrong. He mentions that he tried to get Juleech fired but his request was nixed by his superiors…though he will keep on trying till it’s done. Miranda approaches and gives him his present which he likes especially since he thinks Alicia told Miranda to buy it for him. (Did I see Alicia roll her eyes along with viewerville?)

In her car, Juleech is still driving and singing along ( really badly) with the radio.

Martin is not at all pleased with what Diablo told him and asks why Diablo thinks Serjerk and Alicia won’t get a divorce. Diablo explains that Serjerk called him while on his way to his house for his surprise birthday party.

The three amigas are chatting. Alicia tells them that she feels that things feel normal again…and she sees that her children are happy as a family. Rebeca tells her to think of herself for once and asks if Alicia is willing to forgive Serjerk. Alicia replies that SerJerk seems to be sincere in his wish to return…maybe she should hive him a second chance. (Nooo!)

Serjerk approaches Gonzo and asks to be introduced to his friend. Serjerk asks for a happy birthday wish from Gonzo so Gonzo coldly obliges. When Serjerk asks for his present, Gonzo asks if Serjerk really expected a present from him since he canceled all his cards.

Serjerk then tells Fabian that he is worried because he has tried calling Juleech but she doesn’t respond. Meanwhile, Juleech is still driving wildly and barely missing a car when Mabel calls her. Juleech tells her that Serjerk is not going to stand her up again…she is fed up with all the humiliation! Mabel insists that Juleech come to her house…she needs to calm down and be careful, but Juleech insists that she needs to go to that house! Mabel continues to try to talk her out of it; she reminds Juleech that Serjerk has a family and three children (wasted words Mabel!)

 

Ep 22: The Party Crasher Crashes! Part 2

At the party, everyone is singing to Serjerk while Serjerk shouts his thank yous. Simultaneously, Juleech also sings. She speeds up as she closes her eyes succumbing to her drunken stupor…and crashes!! And Serjerk is having the time of his life as the party continues.

Miranda leaves the party to answer Culebra’s call. They make plans to meet the next day to celebrate that they are a great pair…errr, team.

Gonzo sneaks off to tell Fedora that she looks beautiful and asks why she brought Samuel to the party. Fedora reminds him that they each have their own lives. She chides him for trying to continue with her. He is immature and following in his father’s footsteps. He could be her son and he needs to accept that what they had is over!

Serjerk also sneaks away to his former bedroom to call Juleech. Alicia enters and wonders what he is doing there. He reminds her that this is still his bedroom and tries to kiss her, but she walks away and tells him that it’s too soon…they need to let things flow and whatever will be, will be. After Serjerk thanks her for the best night of his life, Alicia walks out.

Martin is pouring his lonely heart out to Nelson. They are both there alone…and he is in love with an impossible love.

At the party, Miranda, Lorena and Yuri are chatting. Alicia returns to the party and Eva congratulates her for such a wonderful party, but Alicia reminds her that the girls organized it. Alicia returns to her friends and tells them that Serjerk tried to kiss her.

Serjerk then also returns and tells Fabian that Juleech still isn’t answering. He then gets a call from Juleech’s phone, but it is a man who informs him that Juleech was in an accident and is in the hospital. When Serjerk announces the news and remarks that he and Fabian need to go, Eva wonders why. Serjerk replies that Jullech has no family in the city and they are the station reps…so they must go. After Alicia agrees that they should go, Serjerk tells her that everything he said to her still stands.

Serjerk and Fabian arrive at the hospital and ask Mabel about Juleech. She tells then that the doctors are still with Juleech.

Eva and Yuri are trying to make excuses for Serjerk having to go to the hospital, but Alicia reminds them that they don’t have to justify Serjerk…she told him to go. After Alicia leaves, Yuri confides to Eva that she spoke to Juleech at the beauty shop…but she still can’t understand Juleech’s attempt at an explanation.

At the hospital, Serjerk is with Juleech and assures her that everything will be well. When he comments that she was drunk, she tells him that she didn’t want to ruin his party (pretty BIG LIAR!). Serjerk assures her that it was right that the paramedics call him…she is his woman. She bats her long lashes at him and asks that he stay with her… and of course Serjerk obliges.

In the morning, Serjerk is still with Juleech who is feeling sore, When she touches her face and feels the lacerations, she worries that she will have a scar.

Martin is walking with Sofia at her school. As they chat about different things, Martin keeps looking for Alicia.

 

Ep 22: The Party Crasher Crashes! Part 3

At a distance, Alicia walks along with Miranda who is also arriving at school. They chat about Miranda’s confession about her feelings and Miranda assures her that they can talk about it later. After Miranda leaves, Martin approaches and greets Alicia with a smile and a “hello!”

At the house, Eva, Yuri, and Gonzo are having breakfast. When Eva asks what they thought about the successful party, Gonzo tells her that he didn’t see his mother as being very happy...and he saw no progress in his parent’s relationship.

At the hospital, Mabel is with Juleech who is muy happy that Serjerk spent the night there…it’s a sign of true love (Blech!).

Martin and Alicia sit on a bench to talk. He explains that the voice she heard over the phone was of his ex-wife who spent only one night at his apartment because of some problems she had at her own house. Alicia appreciates it but doesn’t think Martin had to explain. She then mentions Juleech’s accident and thinks that everyone at the station must be worried, but Martin reminds her that he no longer works there. Martin then mentions that he knows about Serjerk’s surprise birthday party and wonders about a reconciliation; if there is a reconciliation. he is happy for her…though it ruins his plans that they go to New York for a week…and that is only the tip of the iceberg for all the plans he had for them. When he insinuates that his plans would end with them being together, Alicia would rather not talk about it. Alicia then admits that she wishes things could get back to the way they were with Serjerk, but there is a part of her that knows it won’t happen. Martin smiles since then he doesn’t have to give up on his plans.

At the hospital, Chiquis admires the flowers that Serjerk sent Juleech..without a card. Juleech orders her to upload the picture of the bouquet and with the message that she is impressed with flowers that her boss sent to Juleech.

At the prison, Azote tells Cholo that he should talk to Yuri, but when Cholo sees his visitor, he is surprised that his visitor is not Yuri, but Facundo who is looking for answers.

At the hospital, Juleech is muy impactada when her next visitor enters…ALICIA!!

Woohoo! Confrontation time…but we’ll have to wait until Wednesday!

Thank you, RgvChick. You captured the action and inaction perfectly. I was sooooooo disappointed Julieta crashed the car and not the party. That was a bummer but your last sentence does prove that hope springs eternal for the hospital confrontation: “Woohoo! Confrontation time. . .but we’ll have to wait until Wednesday!”

Gonzo showed himself to be the entitled brat he is. He shows up for Sergio’s birthday party but only wants to complain how daddy cut him off?????

Sergio was at his Sergio best at his worst actively pursuing/supporting Alicia and Julieta at the same time. How I cannot wait for his hubris to be trounced upon. Maybe Martín will do a little tap dance on him when he is down and out (as I hope). There is something about Martín that makes me smile. As I have said before, he is a sort of a goofy galán but that is a good thing.

Anyway, I got a kick out of Martín listening to the theme song. Also, I am sure Nelson offered Martín good counsel.

RgvChick, what a clever title! Just wonderful. A marvelous recap spun so cleverly it made us feel we actually attended the party, rather than seeing everything through the camera lens.

I found this fraught with rather remarkable, truthful and rather outrageous conversations.

“At the bar, Diablo advises Martin that going after Alicia is useless. It can’t work out and Alicia could be his mother!” The unvarnished truth. “When Martin insists and comments that Alicia and SerJerk will soon be “exes”, Diablo tells him that he shouldn’t count on it”. Understandable advice from someone who has proven he is a true friend to Martin. Yet Martin remains undeterred.

Then to another reference to age albeit under very different circumstances. “He could be her son and he needs to accept that what they had is over!” True again. We cringe as Gonzalo is Alicia’s son but also because his relationship with Fedora appears to be part lust, part infatuation. Gonzalo seems as determined as his father and as both you and Jarifa noted, his mewling about the fact he was cut off financially makes him tiresome and immature. Does he think if he continues to cry that Sergio will relent? Did Lorena get enough of an eyeful to put Gonzalo in perspective??

So, am I the only one uncomfortable with “…though it ruins his plans that they go to New York for a week…and that is only the tip of the iceberg for all the plans he had for them. When he insinuates that his plans would end with them being together…”? Martin is quietly aggressive. I believe Martin is developing real feelings for Alicia but I can’t help but feel there is some infatuation there as well. I was rather taken aback by his tears.

“I was sooooooo disappointed Julieta crashed the car and not the party” had me laughing Jarifa. “She worries that she will have a scar”. No broken limbs? Bones? Julieta survives to ruin another day.

Unwanted visitors continue to plague Cholo.

I have a question. Is Mabel the person Martin had the interview with?

Diana, I think Mabel was who Martín was talking to. Another “it’s a small world” moment in Mexico City? LOL Thanks for your comments about age at both ends of the spectrum so to speak. The whole New York trip fantasy is an example of what puts Martín in the goofy galán role for me. Along with the tears, he seems way too intense but he also seems like he has a good heart. Maybe Nelson can be a good role model for him just to chill. We sure have some complicated characters here.

Steve, I don’t see her being a problem but I could be wrong.

Martin is a contradiction to me. Martin loves his daughter, a huge plus for me. And is kind and respectful to his ex. In some ways, he seems relatively easy going and rather unflappable. Yet, your "intense" also defines him perfectly.

He is a different type of galan. Truthfully, I'm seeing earnestness and desire on his part, but not feeling chemistry between he and Alicia. Perhaps that will change when she starts feeling free to return his affections.

Some people comfort and support by their mere presence. I suspect Nelson is that "person". :)

I'm at the disappointed-that-Julieta-crashed table, but it was inevitable given how drunk she was when she left the restaurant.

Jarifa, "Sergio was at his Sergio best at his worst actively pursuing/supporting Alicia and Julieta at the same time." I cannot believe how SerJERK can try to woo both women without even a hint of remorse or guilt. It's nauseating to watch him!

Diana, no, you're not the only one feeling uncomfortable. "Martin is quietly aggressive." That's putting it mildly! I was really taken aback when he told Alicia about his plans that they go to New York for a week (QTH?). He hasn't even come up to bat and he's already planning on a homerun. And just how does he plan on paying for the trip? He is totally ignoring that he is umemployed! And I was a little surprised that Diablo told him that Alicia could be his mother; I thought Martin was at least 10 years older than Alicia's kids 🤷‍♀️

And yes, Mabel is the one whom he interviewed with. I thought it was her when she interviewed him, but wasn't sure...now I am! Yep! Small TN world :-)

Steve, I don't think Carlota will turn "Lifetime" on us and become a problem. But I can't wait till she finds out who her competition is.

Chick, thanks for the recap of the party crasher actually crashing instead of crashing that birthday bash . As soon as I saw her with that bottle in the car , I knew that things we not going to unfold as we thought . Jul seems to have drinking problems plus she is young and arrogant and thinks she is indestructible. I had a cousin who died that way at 26 ...drinking and driving. We were the same age, so ever since I think of him on my birthday because he only got 26 birt

Susanlynn, I'm so sorry about your cousin. It's so sad to hear of individuals who die so young because of bad choices.

And yes, "Jul seems to have drinking problems plus she is young and arrogant and thinks she is indestructible." The consequences could have been fatal for her, yet all she thinks about is her face scarring and having SerJerk at her beck and call. I would add selfish and vain to her description.
 

Embajador S2 #29 part 1

Halise’s inquisition abruptly ends when Melek and Nare enter the mansion. Melek calls to her grandmother and Halise everyone jumps up from the table. Halise asks, am I dreaming? Did they put something in my medicine? Is my granddaughter really here? Melek assures her, this is not a dream, can't you see us? Halise welcomes her granddaughter into her arms. Zehra gives Nare a hug.

Halise holds her arms out for Nare, too. Nare looks uncomfortable. She wishes Halise a get well and tells her that Melek knows everything. Flashback to Nare telling Melek “very few people know exactly what happened to Akin and your father, so this will be our secret, okay? Don’t tell anybody.” Melek says she won’t. End flash.

Melek tells her grandma, the police are looking for dad. My mom told me that's why you got sick. She gives Halise get well wishes. Halise responds, now that you are here, I feel better, and everything will be fine with your father, she looks at Nare—right? Nare replies, yes it will be, and she also apologizes. She has to go and will see them later.

Halise asks where she is going. She thinks Nare might know where Sancar is. Nare denies knowing anything about Sancar. Her plan is to go to the hospital to talk to Kahraman and convince him to change his statement. Halise is curious, how will you do it, Nare? Nare isn’t sure yet. She'll just talk to him and maybe she can get him to agree. Halise offers up an inshallah.

Yahya stops her saying, I don't think it’s a good idea to talk to him. He could hurt you. Don’t go alone. In the original he added, take some of our guys with you. It could be dangerous. Nare takes Melek aside, remember what we talked about. The difficult days will soon pass. She leaves.

Muge is in a taxi when she gets a call from Nare. Muge asks if she’s okay? Is he (Sancar) okay? Have you talked to Melek yet? Nare answers, I'll tell you later, I’m going to see Kahraman to ask him to change his statement. She asks Muge, can you come with me? Surprisingly, Muge agrees without hesitation. They will meet at the hospital.

Slimy Guven shows up at Gediz’ house to speak with Refika, who greets him with, what the hell are you doing here, stupid old man? [good for you Refika] Guven is unfazed and he explains the reason for his visit. Nare went to Switzerland without warning me. She doesn't answer the phone either. I came to ask you if you have her address.

Refika says she doesn't have it, but Nare probably gave it to Gediz. Maybe you already heard he is—Guven stops her, yes, I know he’s in jail, Sancar shot Kahraman. He asks, do you think someone else has Nare's address? Refika thinks so one else will have it but Gediz. If you can free him ...

Guven asks, and how am I supposed to do that? You’re a statesman, Refika replies. Sancar would have already helped Gediz. Do you know someone who can help, she asks, someone with power or influence? This way you will find out where your daughter lives. Guven falls for Refika’s manipulation. I'll see what i can do for you, he tells her.

Nare and Muge meet out front of the hospital. Muge asks, how is Sancar? Did you tell Melek? Nare answers, Sancar was asleep when I left. I had to tell Melek everything. Nare is proud of her daughter, she behaved so mature [oftentimes more mature than all the adults]. Nare cries and Muge gives her a hug.

Nare asks for news on Kman’s condition. Muge says, a friend who is a doctor told her he has improved, but his mental state, not much. Nare worries that won't be that easy to change his mind and Muge agrees. Nare says they will have to be firm.

Embajador S2 #29 part 2

The women enter Kman’s room, and he is not happy to see them. He turns his head away. “Geçmiş olsun”, may it be in the past/get well, they tell him. Kman snarks at Nare, Sancar couldn't kill me. Did you come to finish his work? He nods in Muge’s direction, is that what you brought her for? Muge asks, aren’t you ashamed to talk to us like that? Kman gets nasty with Muge. Look at the cowardly assassin, he snipes, are you feeling very brave now? Come closer to me.

Nare asks him, are you finished? Finished with what, Kman asks? Your attempts to suppress your guilt, Mr. Kahraman. Kman objects, I am the victim. Sancar shot me and I almost died. Why would I feel guilty?

Nare pulls up a chair at his bedside. She starts, it used to surprise me at how cruel people would be. But that no longer surprises me. What surprises me are the ones who are not ashamed of their cruelty, and they keep doing it. He turns away from her, he’s struggling with his conscience. Nare asks, unless you feel ashamed, Mr. Kahraman? You hide it well behind your anger, but I can see it in your face.

Kman shoots back, isn't she (Muge) the psychologist? You're supposed to beg me to change my statement, he tells Nare. So why did she (Muge) come? Nare replies, she is here to make you understand what kind of desgraciado you worked with. For nine years, Akin pretended to be Muge's partner, Nare says, that way he could control me and get news about Sancar. He tricked Muge and worst of all, she loved him.

Kman looks at Muge and thinks back to their conversation on the terrace, when Muge told him how she kidnapped Akin. Kman did not expect this. He takes a moment to process it. He asks Muge, he was your ex? Muge nods and makes a big exhale. Kman says, it was good then—that Sancar threw him off the cliff, eh? Nare responds no, it was not. I caught up with them and we released him.

Kman’s not buying it. Are you sure you didn’t you bury him so no one will find him, he asks? And now you come to me and beg? Nare keeps her cool, why are you saying that Mr. Kahraman? Because it's something that I would do if I were in your place, he replies, I would not release my wife's murderer.

Nare gets more forceful, no, you would be protecting a man that hurt me and my daughter. Kman turns away again. Nare continues, because you, Mr. Kahraman, would deliver a woman to her rapist! Whoa… Kman is shocked. What did you say? What, he stutters, he raped you? When I was young, she replies.

Kman sincerely looks upset. I didn't know, he says. Nare wonders, why didn't you ask when he kidnapped me and took me with him? She answers her own question, because you only thought about your wife's pain, you didn't think of anyone else. Kman says, don't involve my wife.

Why not, Nare pointedly asks? Didn’t you take revenge when your wife died in that accident? She points to Muge, didn’t you bury this woman alive? Nare makes her case, Sancar shot you when he realized the woman he loved was in danger. Where is your justice, Mr. Kahraman?! Tell me!

Kman is affected. He turns away again. Muge approaches him. For once in your life, she tells him, do the right thing and change your statement. Can you? Can you?
They wait for Kman’s answer and it comes, no. I will not do it. I can’t. If I were Sancar, I would have killed me many times over. He is my Azrael [angel of death]. Let them catch him and take him to prison. I won't let him go free, sorry.

Muge lashes out, you are a damn coward! A coward! Kman closes his eyes. She continues, I curse you a thousand times! Your heart is much colder than your wife's grave! Nare tries to calm Muge, it's alright. let's go. On the way out Nare delivers a snarky, I hope you recover soon. Ha, ha, Kman doesn’t have his prayer beads, so he rips a few wires off himself. lol.

Embajador S2 #29 part 3

Nare is feeling a little woozy outside the hospital. The ladies sit on the step. Nare holds her head in her hands and laments, I was hopeful to convince Kahraman, you know? I even believed that by burying Akin, no one would find him because no one would look for him. And if Kahraman changed his statement, Sancar would be free. But now I don't know. Muge gets that it's maddening.

Nare resolves, I won't act desperately. Sancar will be free. I'm going to find a solution and he won’t go to jail. It’s a promise. Somebody above must have been listening to her because Ceylan arrives at the hospital. Nare spots her and jumps up to confront. Cemile?

Ceylan panics and runs back into the car and shouts for her driver to get the hell out of there. Good thing Nare took those guards with her. She orders them to follow Ceylan. Don’t let them get away!!

Nare tells Muge, that was the woman who kidnapped me. If we can get Cemile to speak, Kahraman will do what we ask! Nare is hopeful once again.

Somehow Guven has managed to spring Gediz. Gediz asks, tell me, Mr. Guven, how much did it cost you to get me out? How much do I owe you? Big shocker, Guven says he doesn’t want money. Gediz isn’t buying it. Please, I know you, he says, I’m sure you have a number in mind—lira, dollars, euros? Guven repeats, I don't want money.

Gediz says he will pretend to believe that and asks, then what do you want? Guven replies, Nare went to Switzerland, and I want her address. Do you have it? Gediz answers, no, who told you I have it? Your mother, Guven says and he realizes Refika pulled one over on him. Gediz laughs and walks away.

Guven walks after him, wait, wait. Sancar shot Kahraman because he hid Akin, he tells Gediz, I am the one who pushed Akin on Kahraman. Guven panics, Kahraman is alive, Sancar is free. It’s possible that one of them will take revenge on me! Pobre de usted, Gediz snarks, are the bad men going to bother you? Are you scared? Do you want Gediz to keep you safe? Guven answers, I may not be a good player, but I know very well when someone wins. Gediz tells him, if I win, I won't get involved with losers.

Guven offers an incentive, if Akin dies, Nare gets an inheritance. You gave Akin to Sancar and we know Sancar won’t let him alive. If Akin dies, Nare is going to inherit $ 100 million. Gediz is listening….

Nare returns to the torture shack. Kavruk is frantic, alaca kuş, where were you? Nare is alarmed, Sancar has a high fever. Kavruk freaks out. Yes, I did something wrong, I don't know what, but I was wrong! I don't know where I went wrong. I couldn't cure him!

Nare tells Kavruk to calm down. Sancar is going to be cured. Don't think of anything else, okay? But Nare realizes they have to find a solution. [how about finding a hospital? That might work] She asks Kavruk if there is anyone else who knows how to do this? Someone who can tell us where we went wrong.

Kavruk thinks for a second and answers, yes, but-- Nare asks, he has experience? Yes, Kavruk replies, a woman. But she doesn't love us. She won’t come. Nare will not accept this as an answer. Yes, she will come. Do whatever for her to come. We have no alternative! You have to bring her, quick Kavruk! She pushes him out the door.

Nare goes to Sancar’s side. He’s totally out. She tells him, one by one, I will overcome all the difficulties, one by one. I promise you. As long as you don't leave us, my love. Don't give up. I promise. I promise. Yes, she’s crying again…

Cue Iki Keklik and we get montage: Elvan, Zehra and Gulsiye playing a game with Melek. Subdued atmosphere. Kman thinking things over. Ceylan gets caught.

Embajador S2 #29 part 4

It’s evening and Gediz drives up to the shack. He sees a car and wonders whose it is. Nare comes running out, expecting Kavruk. Both are surprised to see the other. Gediz says, didn't you go? No, I couldn't, she replies. Why? I couldn’t leave Sancar. Gediz repeats, Sancar? Your vow? You forgave him? Why? She doesn’t answer that but gives Gediz a defiant look. Why the hell did you forgive him?

Nare has her own questions, you better answer me, Gediz. How were you able to do this to your partner? And what did I do to my ex-partner, he asks? Nare knows he sent his men to Kahraman’s and told them to leave when Sancar arrived. You knew very well that he would shoot Kahraman, she says. [Turkish] You closed your eyes to it.

Gediz tries to explain but she stops him. Before your excuses, Nare says, I want you to answer me, Gediz. When I was at the airport, why was Muge there to tell me Sancar would throw Akin off the cliff? Why wasn't it you? Because she heard it from you, right? She heard you by accident. And if Muge hadn’t heard, I wouldn’t have known anything.

Nare’s working up a head of steam, how could you do this, Gediz?! How could you?! [still the same stupid, naïve Nare] How could you send Sancar to jail? Gediz claims he didn't send anyone to jail. Sancar did it himself. She shouts, but you let him!

Gediz shouts back, he is guilty of everything! He was from the beginning—Nare yells, shut up! She defends Sancar saying, he was guilty, I know. But he was trying to fix everything! Why, Gediz?! Why did you stab Sancar in the back, why?! [girl, haven’t you been paying attention?]

Gediz answers, I did it for you, that's why! Nare asks, for me? You turned the man I love into a killer, for me? Why?! Why?! Gediz replies, to get rid of Akin, Kahraman and Sancar for you. Nare gives Gediz the Sancar treatment and shoves him [yes!]. She accuses him of wanting to get rid of Sancar for his own purpose. Gediz shouts his admission, that's right, I wanted to get rid of him! Sancar screams from the shack. Nare runs. Gediz freezes, Sancar?

Nare rushes to Sancar and says, I'm here with you, you'll be fine. Gediz stands in the doorway, stunned. [yes, that’s the same look I had on my face.] He asks Nare, what happened? Nare pays no attention as she tends to Sancar. Gediz asks again, what happened?

Nare is on the verge of another blunder. She tells Gediz, Akin grabbed me by the neck to throw us off the cliff and Sancar tried to rescue me. In doing so, he took Akin and they went —Gediz is horrified, why do you have him here, Nare? What century do you live in? [18th? 19th?] We must take him to the hospital. [patio agrees] Nare responds, because I don't want him to go to prison-- Gediz is incredulous, he's going to die here! Nare employs her magical thinking, he will not die. He will live. [my dad would have said she’s living on that river in Egypt.] You’re crazy, Gediz tells her.

Nare might be crazy but she’s also furious. I didn't go crazy, Gediz. You guys went crazy. This man shot Kahraman. And if I hadn't arrived on time, he was going to throw Akin. [wait, what? This didn't make sense in the Turkish either.]

She continues to rant, I can’t believe what Sancar did, and I can't believe everything you did, too! You feel empowered by punishing others and by making them pay! I just can't believe you, you want to get rid of everything, Gediz. The death of a person is not a problem for you? And you tell me that I went crazy because I try to solve a problem? Gediz asks, and how will you do it? By grinding flowers in a mortar?

Nare commits the big blunder—no, burying Akin. She reminds him of what he once said, if your loved one arrives with a corpse, you dig a hole to bury to that corpse! You couldn't, right? But I’ll do it. Gediz thinks that’s smart, no one will look for Akin. But what will she do with Kman? I'm going to make him change his statement, she asserts. Gediz tells her Kman won’t, even if he was on his deathbed. He is afraid that Sancar is alive and free. Nare says, then, I'll look for something even bigger to scare him.

Nare is resolute, Sancar sacrificed his life to save mine. I won't live the life he gave me without him. I can’t. Neither my daughter nor I will live without him. Even if I have to live forever as a fugitive, I won't leave the man I love. Understand, Gediz Isikli? [Turkish] Don’t get in my way. Don’t get in my way.

Gediz tells her, you need to be protected from yourself. Not from Akin or Kahraman, or Sancar. Nare claims she can protect both Sancar and herself as long as he doesn’t get in the way. Uh, oh, Gediz is a man scorned. He leaves. What will he do next?

Kavruk drives up to a house with a cow tied up in the front yard. He whispers to the cow, Halise, how are you? Do you think she is in good mood? The cow says nothing, maybe Kavruk knows the answer anyway. He goes to the front door, and it’s riddled with bullet holes. He says a quick prayer, [Turkish] for Sancar, save us Allah. He knocks on the door and runs and ducks by a nearby table. There is a gunshot through the door and an old woman emerges with a shotgun.

The woman calls out, if you ran after knocking on my door, you are not a stranger! Tell me who you are! [continuing in Turkish] Kavruk timidly speaks up, Feride Efe don't you think it's easier to ask who's there to find out if it is a friend or a stranger?

Feride answers, well, well. It’s the grandson of that bloodless man. Did your cunning grandfather send you? Kavruk slowly stands and says, why would he send me? He’s in jail. Of course, she answers, that bloodless scoundrel can’t be free. Kavruk answers, the love with which you express for my—Feride cuts him off sharply, don't you dare, boy! Don't you dare use the word "love" and your grandfather in the same sentence! She points her shotgun and shouts, I’m not afraid to shoot you!

Kavruk appeals for mercy. I—I only came for help. Feride asks, does this look like a mosque? Go ask Allah for help, not me! She starts to walk away. Kavruk calls after her, your nephew is dying. She turns and asks, which one? Sancar Efe is about to die, he tells her. Feride says he won’t die so easily given the sins he has committed. Don’t be afraid.

She turns again and Kavruk calls out. Don’t go. It's the truth, he fell from a height. His bones are broken, and I wrapped him in cowhide. But I did something wrong. I don’t know what I did wrong. He’s burning up and if you don’t come, he will die.

Feride’s a tough one. She says, I am not an ambulance. Call “112” and they will help you. Kavruk tells her, we can't. We can’t go to the hospital. Feride takes a guess, did he fall for running from the law? Or running from those he deceived?

Kavruk answers no. He fell saving his beloved from the hands of a villain at the cliff where the alaca kuş fell. Feride is surprised. She asks, the ambassador's daughter? Kavruk nods. Feride remembers, they said that when she returned, she found him married to Atike's daughter. It's true? Kavruk confirms it’s true. But we don’t have time. Please come, I beg you, and grant Sancar Efe healing.

Feride proclaims, let him die! And let the alaca kuş fly away freely! Feride takes another step towards her door. Kavruk yells at her, I tell you that your nephew is dying! What kind of aunt are you? Feride shouts back, I am not his aunt! I cannot heal Halise's son! This is my last word!

But it isn’t. She asks Kavruk, did you put sourdough on the skin? Yes, yes, are you going to help us, he asks? No, she will not. Then she asks, did you smear honey? Yes, Kavruk answers, will you come? Feride shouts, I will not come! She asks, did you add eggshells to the honey? Kavruk says, yes, of course I added it. He’s frustrated, if you are going to help us, do it right. It’s like you are passing bread over the threshold to me!

Kavruk makes a bold move, he runs in front of Feride and points her shotgun down. Look, he says, Sancar and the alaca kuş have a daughter. She is a beautiful angel… like you. Feride’s face softens. Kavruk adds, she cannot lose her father. Should she be an orphan?
Feride weakens and softly says, I see that you are cunning like your grandfather. You know how to convince people. Bring Halise to the barn and we’ll go. Kavruk looks up to heaven and breathes a sigh of relief. He goes to get Halise the cow. [ha, Feride has a cow named Halise and Halise has a chicken named Feride]

Melek has fallen asleep on human Halise’s lap. She asks Elvan to take her to bed. Elvan tells her suegra, that Nare prefers to go to her home tonight, since Kahraman did not withdraw his statement. Elvan picks up Melek. Halise tells Gulsiye to prepare the bath now. Elvan wants to know why they must talk alone. She wants to know, too. Halise tells her there are things you should not listen to. Take Melek to sleep.

Halise and Gulsiye are in the bath. Halise tells her leave it and shuts the water. She asks Gulsiye to speak, what did Menekse threaten you with? Gulsiye is very hesitant. Halise can’t take much more and says, my son fled because he shot a man. My heart is broken. My patience is running out. Speak! Gulsiye says, can I show you without telling you? Gulsiye takes out a phone and asks is your heart alright? If I show you, I want to be sure you’re not going to have another heart attack.

Halise assures Gulsiye she’s fine. What are you going to show me? She hands Halise the phone. It’s a video from Sancar. [Turkish] He starts by asking “hakkini helal et” because he’s not there. Halise responds, helal olsun. Sancar continues, if I'm not there it’s because they managed to catch me and I'm in jail. Maybe you are grieving. Halise is crying. But it's not time for grief, mother, it’s time for justice.

We see Feride arrive at the shack.

Sancar’s video continues, I punished Menekse because my daughter’s heart stopped. I didn’t harm her yet because she is carrying my baby, but on the day she gives birth, she will regret being alive. Whether I am in prison or in the grave, she will be punished.

But I didn’t have time to punish Yahya. My brother is having an affair with his secretary, Dudu. Halise gasps and Gulsiye starts crying. Sancar says, Yahya cheated on Elvan. I hired lawyers for her. She will divorce Yahya and she will get half of his shares, because that’s only fair.

He asks Halise to do something for him. Talk to Elvan about this and then kick Yahya out of the mansion. Elvan will stay at the mansion. I entrust this poor orphan to you, Sancar says. You have seven days to fulfill my wish. When you visit me in prison, everything should be solved. And in case you think my brother should get away with this, he won’t. Because if you don't talk to Elvan, my lawyers will. Gulsiye sobs and Halise’s jaw hangs open.

Elvan has been outside the door and has heard the whole thing. She cries in silence.

And we are out.

Evidently , tbe writers thought the storyline hadn't gotten sufficient!y weird, so they decided to add Feride,a human one, not chicken Ferride , who seems to be a normal hen. Wow . How odd can this show get ?

Poor Elvan is now broken hearted . She deserves someone so much better than that weakwilled weasel . Have you noticed that nothing good ever happens in that bath? Maybe quick showers would be a better idea for these folks.

I have no idea where the plot is going , but I have a feeling things are just going to get more and more bizarre.So..what's next . What's our next stop on this crazy train.

As weird and crazy as some of these episodes are and as stupid and pathetic some of the characters are at times, this is, nevertheless, one of the most fascinating and intriguing telenovelas I have ever watched —— and I have watched hundreds!!!
Of course, i not only look forward to seeing this TN but just as important and interesting to me are Dondi’s recaps as well as the fabulous comments that follow!! THANK YOU sooooooo much!

dondi356, another masterfully written recap, thank you! And I sure do appreciate the “real” translations that clarify much of the dialogue and your sides that frequently mirror my thoughts as I watch the episode (e.g., Melek being more of an adult than the actual adults).

The writers are really trying to lighten things up with some humor. I had a good belly laugh when Kavruk greeted Halise, the cow. And thank you for reminding us that Hellise has a hen named Feride!

I too enjoyed the Nare/Gediz and Nare/Mike/Kman scenes...those were my favs.

I felt so sorry for Elvan, but I’m glad she now knows what a weasel Yuck-yuck is. And how wonderful that Sancar is going to have Yuck-yuck kicked to the curb and Elvan will remain with the family...with her own shares! It would be nice if a handsomeTurkish galán were introduced and paired with Elvan; she deserves a happy ever after.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of Feride; she’s got spunk! :-)

I was worried for a moment that Gonzo was going to be dumb and horny enough to boink Fedora in the bathroom with abusive Samuel in the house. That could still happen but in a later episode.

If Juleech had crashed the party that would have been more humiliation than Alicia deserves. However, if anyone who saw the accident recognized Juleech then the embarrassment she should suffer -- in view of all the gossip -- will take her down a notch or two.

Dondi , yes, when other people are around, they often wonder what is so funny when one is reading Caray recaps and comments. My family and friends think it is very amusing that I have been watching Mexican telenovelas and hanging out here reading translations and discussing these wild tales for many years ,.Now, I have to explain that I am watching a Turkish show dubbed in Spanish Even though I do not speak either language. I stopped trying to explain the p!ots of these shows. When they ask why, I just say " Escaping harsh reality."

Some of you know that my mother was a narcissist. This is what makes me identify them so quickly in novelas and figure out what they are about.

Most narcissists who have both sons and daughters typically choose a child of their own sex to be the Scapegoat child. This is what Sergio is now doing and what my mother did to me.

When I started school I was quickly displaying academic talent. All narcissists like seeing that in their young children. It's when the child's education surpasses theirs that they begin resenting them, especially if they make career choices the parents don't like. That was why my mother wouldn't pay for me to get braces on my teeth, saying “There is nothing wrong with your teeth.” She knew that anyone wanting to become an actor in the US needs toothpaste-commercial teeth, so that was definitely sabotage. When I was 15 and started thinking about college she threatened to pull me out of school and make me go to work. I had no idea whether she could have done that legally, but I dared her to do it. Nothing else was ever said about it.

My father died the December of my senior year I high school. In March my mother told me and my brother that she was going to visit her sisters and mother, whom she had not seen since I was an infant. I asked when and.... her absence included the date of my graduation. There was no good reason that she had to go exactly then. If my father had been alive he would have done whatever it took to be there. My mother planning her visit to The Old Country was obviously a means of avoiding my graduation, which was the clear evidence that I was educated beyond her level.

I moved out during college. We were not on speaking terms during my senior year, so she was not invited to that graduation. Before graduation I promised myself never to tell her anything about my income. Eventually I stopped telling her anything about my life.

During the years following my brother's death she blamed me for his academic failure. He actually had never been interested in school although he seemed to have a normal IQ. He never asked me for help. He was probably dyslexic at a time when nobody knew how to deal with that.

After that she repeatedly threatened to disinherit me. I called her bluff, saying I didn't care and only wanted Tiger (her cat). After hearing this the second time she said she would put it in her will to euthanize him. I told a relative who loved cats. The day she was found dead in her house I took him home and he had seven happy years with me.

I realized that many narcissistic parents thrive on their children's fear of them. That is what SerJerk is doing now. Narc fathers rule more with money and influence while narc mothers manipulate with psychological warfare. SerJerk seems to have had lessons in both methods.

A smiling and non-flappable Alicia has gone to visit Julieta in the hospital. Julieta assures her she will have a scar on her forehead but she is alive. Alicia notices a big bunch of roses evidently from Sergio. Julieta says she put the gift card away because she likes her privacy. Alicia wonders about that since she posted all about the roses on social media. Julieta has to admit it was her unwise assistant who did that. Alicia agrees that her hubby is so kind, so affectionate, such a gift giver with all of his lovers. When he heard about Julieta’s accident, his heart almost jumped out of his chest. Julieta shows her self-satisfaction in a smug smile. She tells Alicia how Sergio stayed on that very chair all night long with her. At that point, Alicia closes the door and locks it.

Facundo goes to see Cholo at the jail. No matter how Cholo lies about having killed Simón for the medal around his neck, Facundo knows he did not kill his son.

Sergio has called Julieta’s assistant Chiquis to his office so she can explain how the photo of the bouquet of roses he gave Julieta with a loving message he never wrote ended up on social media.He assumes it was Julieta who told her to do it. She says no, she decided on her own. He tells her to delete it immediately which she does. The only reason he isn’t firing her is to save Julieta more stress since she is hospitalized.

Alicia says all she wants to know is what is going on between Julieta and Sergio. Julieta sarcastically answers what is going on between them is what she saw with her own two eyes at her place. She doesn’t have amnesia, does she? Alicia says Sergio has told her it is all over with Julieta. Julieta lets her know that it never ended. She equates the size of the bouquet of roses with the love Sergio has for her.

In the middle of it all, Sergio calls Julieta to complain about the posting of the bouquet on social media. She doesn’t see it as a problem. He sees it as a scandal they don’t need. She excuses herself because a “doctor” is with her giving her a horrible look because she is on the phone with him. Alicia smiles.

As the conversation proceeds, Alicia lets her know how Sergio has told her he wants to get back with her and is obsessed with them renewing their vows and is desperate to come back home. As a matter of fact, he tried to kiss her last night. Alicia lets it drop that Sergio assured her he was going to break up with Julieta personally and professionally. Julieta is no longer smiling but Alicia still is as she continues. Sergio swore he was going to talk to the network so they could start transitioning Julieta out of his program until she was gone. Julieta does not believe her. Alicia thinks he is playing both of them.




 

DEJAN Part 2

Over some beers, Martín tells Karina he has not gotten back with his ex. She thinks Carlota is still in love with him. He thinks not. Karina has noticed he has been a bit distant as of late. Martín tells her that he is interested in somebody else. He wants to be honest with her. She leaves.

Miranda as Enigma goes to celebrate the team’s win only to find that Culebra has found two girls to party with them.

Gonzo’s friend tells him he has the best of both worlds with Fedora and Lorena: experience and youth. Gonzo says he is learning everything that Fedora has to teach him but he feels bad if he were to hurt Lorena. His friend says she never needs to find out. Gonzo sees a sign for a job at a bakery and leaves his friend on the street as he goes to inquire about it.

The owner of the bakery says they are looking for a baker with lots of experience. Gonzo isn’t a professional baker but insists he has experience. The owner tells him to bake him a loaf so he can see how tasty his bread is. Gonzo is ready to show him.

Yuri calls Cholo and demands to know why he is ignoring her. She misses him. She wants to see him. She is worried that his plants are drying out. They will do better at her house. He finally says something asking her not to go back to his house because it is dangerous. She insists on going but will take a fried this time. One more thing, when she talks to him, he will talk back. Hearing him calms her down. He hangs up.

Fabián tells his wife what a mess it is at work with Julieta's accident and Diablo having quit. Rebeca forgets she has already made coffee that morning. Fabián notices. She feels fine just a but tired. He thinks that they need a vacation. It isn’t a good time for her and she reminds him about all of his problems at work due to his very dear friend Sergio.

Sergio calls Eva and finds out that Alicia was upset that he left the party to go to the hospital. Eva adds that there is the fact that he should have sent Alicia two truckloads of flowers but he sent flowers to Julieta instead. Eva has a cellphone and saw it on social media. He insists he didn't write the message. Eva thinks it is a pity that this has erased any progress he had made in winning Alicia back. She adds that he better not be thinking of sending Alicia flowers.

Mabel comes to see Julieta and is surprised it is Alicia who opens the door. Alicia was just leaving.









 

DEJAN Part 3

Enigma is with Culebra out in the woods with the two girls. Culebra is trying to convince “him” that they are going to have a great time.

Martín rings his parents groceries and medication. His father tells him about visiting Cholo and knowing that he didn’t kill Simón. Martín asks how he knows. Facundo says because he still is a good policeman. He wants Mujica to understand that so they can find the real killer.

Chela goes with Yuri to pick up the plants at Cholo’s. Someone is watching them from the same spot across the street as the last two times Yuri was there.

Gonzo thinks back to how his mother taught him to bake bread. She said the rising of the bread was its soul. You have to give it the time to do its work. He smiles and discovers his bread is ready to bake.

Alicia arrives at the foundation and tells Mercedes she wants to tal to Lucas as soon as he arrives.

Martín calls Alicia. He has a medical need. He has “abstinence syndrome”. She laughs. His doctor said he needed a daily call to avoid a relapse. Alicia thanks him for the first smile of a not-so-good day. He asks if a chat with some churros and chocolate might help. She wishes things were that easy. He quotes from Petrarch “He who can tell how something burns suffers a very small fire”. She recognizes the quote. He reminds her he is always going to be there for her no matter when. Alicia smiles and hangs up.

While Mabel is visiting Julieta, the police arrive. Julieta’s blood alcohol was above the legal limit for driving and that is a crime. Julieta brushes them off and ends up threatening them with charges of harassment because the only reason they are there is to cause a scandal because she is famous.

Enigma is having a bad time trying to keep Julia away from “him” as Culebra is enjoying himself with the other girl. Julia tells her friend Marta that Enigma is very strange. Culebra tells Enigma that “He” is ruining things for him with Marta.
 

DEJAN Part 4

Yuri and Chela looks through Cholos “alebrijes”. Cholo is an artist. Chela says that is why Yuri fell in love with him. Yuri denies it. Chela thinks it is time for Yuri to be honest and admit the wedding to Moisés is a mistake. Yuri says she is marrying Moisés. Chela says Yuri cannot fool her. Yuri is in love with Cholo. She asks if Moisés is the love of Yuri’s life. Yuri says Cholo is magic but he is an “impossible love.” Chela answers with an “if you say so”. Yuri looks like she suddenly has something to think about.

Sergio has ordered the most expensive red car with all the trimmings to be delivered to Alicia. He tells Fabián that all women love a car and Alicia is going to come back to him.

Alicia lets Lucas have it about the way he handled the scholarship for Luna. She wonders what his interest is in the foundation. It certainly isn’t the community. He is unrepentant. She tells him that an outside accountant is going over the books from last year and the numbers are not adding up. He looks momentarily shocked and informs her that he will not be insulted by a housewife. He is going to talk to Mr. Carranza because evidently they cannot work at the foundation together. She agrees.

Culebra sits and chats with both of the girls trying to see what the problem with Enigma is. Julia says the problem is that Enigma doesn’t like girls. He likes Culebra.

The owner of the bakery tries Gonzo’s bread. It needs a little salt and is over baked a bit but Gonzo is hired.

Fedora is in bed with Samuel when her phone rings. He grabs it thinking it could be Gonzo and pushes her away. It is Rebeca. When Fedora confronts Samuel on his jealousy, he says he is just taking care if what is his. She tells him she doesn’t need him getting jealous. He tells her then not to do anything that makes him jealous . He grabs her wrists and warns her that if that Gonzo comes around she won’t have that cute little smile on her face anymore.

Gonzo gives Lorena the good news about his job. He is going to take her out to dinner when he gets his first check. She has confidence in him. They kiss.

When Chela tells Yuri about her fear of being in this building in this neighborhood, Yuri tells her there is nothing to be afraid of. Chela says the one who really is afraid is Yuri because she is still going to go through with marrying Moisés.

Cholo gets roughed up in the prison when he least expects it. There is a message: Yuri is still sticking her snout where she shouldn’t be.

Culebra is upset that Enigma ruined his plans. He tells Enigma that it is best that “he” is no longer part of their gaming group.

Alicia sees the new red car with a now on top. Eva has the keys for her. Alicia isn’t impressed.

Diablo meets with Sergio to negotiate his return. He talked Tamayo into giving him a raise. Diablo wants Martín to be rehired.

Sergio gets a call from a very upset Julieta. She needs to see him NOW. She doesn’t want to go on living.

DEJAN Part 5

Martín is telling Karina about his father’s suspicions outside of the police station. Mujica sees them and comments that Martín must be seducing Karina to get information. He can see him doing that being Facundo’s son and all. Martín tries to go after Mujica but Karina stops him. Mujica tells Martín to treat her well so he can get whatever he needs and strolls away.

Sergio arrives at Julieta’s hospital room. He wants to know how she is doing since she was so nervous on the phone. Julieta doesn’t look upset anymore. She is very calm as is Alicia as she emerges from the bathroom. Sergio looks like the terrorized cornered rat that he is as he nervously asks them what is going on.

Jarifa, you painted the perfect picture of these very imperfect characters. The spoken word and visual actions were captured so well by your observant eye.

We are all multi dimensional. Last night, I thought almost everyone showed their sordid side. Save Cholo's magical, mystical hideaway and the beautiful alebrijes there was little beauty.

"He has “abstinence syndrome”. Martin is an excellent father, good ex and a caring person. But words like these puzzle me.

"Martín tells her that he is interested in somebody else. He wants to be honest with her". Ummm, not really. Karina asked him if there were someone else. He didn't volunteer that. I'm not enchanted. Does he realize he is the galan here?

"Facundo knows he did not kill his son" was quite the reversal and seems to be based on a feeling. Go with it Facundo.

"Gonzo’s friend tells him he has the best of both worlds with Fedora and Lorena: experience and youth". Gonzalo IS trying to have it all and of course it's impossible.

The fact Yuri is determined to go ahead with the wedding is ridiculous. It's as though she feels duty bound. She is too intelligent and needs to face how she feels.

Samuel was his odious abusive self. Is Lorena going to stay until he really hurts her?

Oh how Culebra has fallen. Mujica continues to turn our stomachs.

Alicia now has seen for herself what her heart has been telling her all along. She needs to file for divorce. There is no turning back. Oh and a bright red car is for someone in a mid-life crisis. Sergio should have gifted himself.

This episode was laden with continuous dialog. I was so frustrated, getting some of it but lost on others. Thank you for making sense of all of this!

Diana, “. . . I think almost everyone showed their sordid side.” said it all. There was more action last night than I first thought until I started recapping it. Not a pretty story last night; tacky, yes, pretty, no.

I wonder if something illegal is hidden at Cholo’s place that makes the “spy across the street” concerned that Yuri is there. Could something be in his plants or alebrijes??? That would be a good twist.

Yes, Fedora, Yuri, and Alicia all need to take some definitive action ALREADY.

I was impressed that Alicia had taught Gonzo how to bake bread.

So now what does Miranda do? Looks like she lost her only friend.

As for Martín, he never fails to make an impression with his . . . Sorry I have to say it . . . goofiness. He still makes me smile. As for a romance with Alicia, that remains to be seen. It will be interesting if nothing else but I am ready for some movement in that direction.

Urban, thank you for explaining how you know so much about narcissism. So glad you were able to rescue that cat.

I felt sorry for Miranda; she's learning too quickly how some men have such little regard for women. Maybe now she will be more understanding and supportive of Alicia. Culebra sure has turned out to be a disappointment. So much for thinking that Culebra might suspect who Miranda really is. After last night, it's obvious that he has no clue.

I will start at the end ...that look on Werner it's face when Alicia walked out of the bathroom was priceless. The actor is doing superb job of portraying an aging womanizer who thinks he can easily juggle a wife and a mistress.

Disappointed in Gonzo. It appears that he has inherited the womanizer gene from dear ,old dad. Tree>>>>apple

And Serjerk's illegitmate son inherited his nasty, ruthless qualities.


The sweetness of Martin counteracts all the pressures Alicia is trying to deal with .

At the cab stand Luna is asking Hector how it's going with Helena. They always seem to have issues and she thinks it's because of their different social classes. Luna gets flirty and says Helena is probably dazzled by his looks, his strength, and his manliness. He laughs and tells her to stop it. He's sure about his feelings for Helena. She says she hopes he's right and gives him his next run on a scrap of paper. She says she saved it for him because it's special. It's for Helena.

Guillermo is in his office telling Nora that she's not going to Madrid. Why?, she asks. I told you you're responsible at work. You've only spent one day in the office and you already want to go to Madrid, he says. But Helena is going, and your friend Yolanda. Even my sister Valentina. That's a result of their work and they deserve it, says Guillermo, I already said no and I don't like you wasting my time. And don't make faces. Close the door on your way out.

Consuelo and Mina urge Camila to get over her fear of flying. Mina tells her that she read that only one plane in 5 million crashes. Connie says that if God saved her life it was so she could complete her mission. Camie is greeted by cheers and applause when she shows up at Helena's shop. Later, when they call to board the flight at the airport Camila becomes frightened again. Valentina tells her to breathe deeply and to listen to her feelings. Only she has power over her thoughts and if she wants to follow her dreams she can't give up on them. They're all afraid, she says, but their goals are stronger than their fears. You're right, Camie says, Long live Mexico. Let's go to Madrid! She makes the sign of the cross and heads for the gate saying "Oh my God. Give me a pill."

Helena and Valentina are discussing their designs in the hotel garden. Helena says that Valentina never ceases to surprise her. She wants to promote her from seamstress to designer. Val promises not to let her down and they hug. Yolanda appears with two men of fashion who she introduces. She says she hopes Helena wins fashion week because she won't be competing. I know, Helena says, you'll be there as a special guest. No, Yolanda says, You have bad information, I'll be there as a judge. I'll be choosing the winning design for fashion week. But that shouldn't worry you dear Helena, your design will probably do well, but to get to the finals I sincerely doubt it. Oh, Valentina, I'm surprised they let you out of the country with those charges for attempted robbery. You know that's a lie, Helena retorts. Well, people of your class rarely have these opportunities, Yolanda says, enjoy Madrid. Chau.

Four thugs show up at Doña Leoparda's shop to threaten her again. She has until tomorrow to come up with her protection money. One of the thugs goes so far as to break her store window with a baseball. Consuelo comes by as Leo is sweeping up the broken glass. Leoparda tells her what happened and that Horacio told her that he'd take care of it. Consuelo goes to Horacio's booth to tell him what happened to Leoparda. He becomes irate and Connie asks him not to fight.

Helena and Valentina are discussing Yolanda over a couple huge glasses of wine when Helena gets a call. It's from Señor Olmeda, a famous spanish jeweler. He wants Helena's principal model to show off some of his jewelry designs. The jewels will come directly from the jeweler to the show?, Valentina asks. Yes, they send a specialized person to put the jewelry on the model and as soon as the show is over they take them away, says Helena. They are watched 100 percent of the time. Of course, they're very expensive.

Nora takes a call from Leonardo in her office. He says he imagines she followed his advice. She should be happy it was confirmed that she's Guillermo Vargas's daughter. She says she doesn't know what advice he's talking about. She says she's a famous model and the daughter of a very important businessman. She doesn't know if she still needs a representative but she'll let him know. He tells her that if she would have asked for his help she'd be in Madrid right now. It's not that she couldn't go, she says, it's that she didn't want to. She has a lot of work to do. With Yolanda Pratas? Because she's in Madrid and she didn't take you either. You should have a drink with me, he says. I'll think about it, she answers

Patricia invites Nora to get something to eat. What are you going to asks from me?, Nora wonders. What could I ask from you?, says Patricia. Before nothing. Now anything. Look, says Pat, we're part of the same family. I thought we should forget the past and have a good relationship. I could help you. I could teach you everything about your father's business. If you need anything you just have to tell me. OK, thanks, says Nora turning to her phone. So?, asks Patricia. I don't know, says Nora, maybe invite me another day. Pat turns to go and her smile becomes a scowl.

Guillermo gets a call from Rosa Maria. He asks if he could change his appointment as Nora approaches. I know he's a very busy doctor....., but let me check, he says. I think I can find a space. I know you got me this appointment with the cardiologist and I promise to pay you back with dinner wherever you want. I'll see you at the hospital. When he hangs up Nora asks him if he is having heart troubles. She says she didn't know he had a bad heart. He says it's nothing. Only high blood pressure. Rosa María is going to have him see a cardiologist this afternoon. That's all. Do you want me to go with you?, she asks. No, you're like aunt Adelaida, he says. Seriously, I don't want you to be sick, she tells him, I suffered a lot when my father, well, Juan died in the accident. I couldn't stand to lose you too. That's not going to happen, Guillermo says. Destiny brought them together and they're going to get back their lost time. He hugs her as she rests her head on his shoulder.

Nora doesn't want to eat alone, so she asks one of the employees, Alicia if she has a car. Yes, she needs one to do any errands Señor Vargas might ask of her. Well, first off, don't use usted with me. I'm way younger than you and I don't like it. Alicia offers to call the executive dining room for her. No, Patricia invited me but I don't want to eat with her. It's better if we eat in the employee dining room. You can come with me and we can talk. I'm a model and I want to tell you about my plans. I'm also an influencer. Ok Nora, Alicia says, I'll go eat with you. If you want, I'll give you one of my pictures, Nora offers. They run into Enrique and Patricia in the hall. They ask Nora if she'd like to go with them to the executive dining room. No, we don't want to, Nora says, enjoy your meal. She's going to be difficult to control, Enrique says. You're going to have to change your strategy to get close to her. I suppose Guillermo didn't let her go to Madrid. Odd, says Pat, it's the first whim of his daughter that he didn't comply with. In the employee dining room, Nora tells Alicia that she wants to learn her father's business. She asks her if she'll tell her everything she needs to know.

Patricia calls Hector to ask for his help. She says they're changing offices and she left a lot of things in the previous one. Claudio can't believe that he would agree to that. What can I do?, he says, It pays good. Claudio tells him that he's getting along well with Helena and he can't trust Patricia. That's what my mother said, says Hector. Don't trust her Hector. Be careful. Hector helps Patricia move some boxes. She picks one up and experiences severe pain in her side. It's the wound from the operation she says. This pain isn't normal. Take me to the doctor please. Nora listens unseen. This medicine makes me feel dizzy, says Patricia. She leans into him and touches his cheek with her lips. Sorry, I don't know what I'm doing, she says as Nora watches. Why don't you rest?, he asks, Good night. Nora smiles to herself.

Ricardo is in his room on the phone with one of his accomplices. He says they're out of options and he's thinking about telling Valentina the truth. He also wants to get back with her. His door is ajar and Nora is listening in. We'll talk later he says as Nora pushes open the door and enters his room. Who were you talking to?, she asks. A friend, he says. Have you talked to Valentina for me? I need to see her when she gets back from Madrid. Ricardo, she says, You know I want to help you. I talked to her but I couldn't convince her. There's something else going on here right? Could it be that you're hiding something and you don't want to tell me? You might fool everyone else but not me. If you tell me the truth I can help you. I also have a secret that could change your life. I'll tell you when you confess to me what's going on with my sister.
 

TU AMOR ep 51 part 4

A reporter for the magazine Tendencia México is getting ready to interview Helena when Yolanda runs into him at the hotel. He mentions Helena's inclusive concept that he heard about. Too inclusive, says Yolanda, so much so that her top model is Camila Casanova the young woman whose face is still marked from the plane accident. She still wants to take advantage of that girl's misfortune. It's said that Helena Vargas declared that.... The reporter finds Camila, Helena, Valentina, and Majo in the hotel garden. He cluelessly asks Helena, "Could you tell us about the interesting Quasimodo character you created for the principal model Camila Casanova?" Everyone is stunned but Helena puts down her drink to face the reporter. I don't know what person or concept you're talking about because I would never declare something like that. I'm sorry he says, but a confidential source gave us that information. Well, your source is wrong, Helena says, and I ask your respect for my model. Majo and Val try to comfort Camila. She's frightened. What are they saying about me?, she asks. What is going to happen tomorrow? Helena tells the reporter that there will be no pictures and she's ready to be interviewed about her concept.

The reporter runs into Yolanda after the interview. He says it went spectacularly. She must have misinterpreted the concept. Helena and Camila were charming and they fascintated everyone with their concept. I'm sure they're going to be a total success. Helena's model will cause a great sensation. It was a pleasure to meet her. Thanks for your information. Everything went better than expected. Yolanda is annoyed to hear this and wipes his kisses off her cheeks. She tells Beba that she has something very simple for her to do. She should take advantage of all the confusion after the show and take one of Olmeda's jewels away from Camila. Beba's smile disappears when she hears this.

TU AMOR. Another incredible recap, JoelD. You get both the main points and all the important details. In the first half of the episode Nora is a surprisingly positive character and it looks as if she could turn out to be a good business executive. She shows up for work, befriends a knowledgeable secretary, insists on eating in the employees' restaurant rather than with the executives, and seems genuinely concerned about Guillermo's health. Of course, in the second half she reverts to her old self with Ricardo, etc. She also flirts with Humberto, who should be very careful. Camila overcomes her fear of flying surprisingly easily. But after all, sisterhood is powerful! Yolanda is creepy as usual. And finally, the Spanish jeweler business bodes ill--as we subsequently learn. Beware of Beba! Is she going to frame Valentina again?

My favorite was “Let's go to Madrid! She makes the sign of the cross and heads for the gate saying "Oh my God. Give me a pill." Brave, brave girl. I love this family of sisters bonded by love and friendship if not blood.

“Yes, they send a specialized person to put the jewelry on the model and as soon as the show is over they take them away”, struck fear in my heart but then I said, no, I’m overreacting. When I read Yolanda has indeed ordered the theft, my worst fears were confirmed. Beba is going to be doing twenty to life once all her evil doings come to light.

Yolanda’s cruelty reached a new low with spilling the poisonous lie about the “Quasimodo character “. Thank heavens she was thwarted there.

After Luna and Hector finished their discussion, all smiles, Luna said something in an aside that Hector did not hear. She looked grim. Can someone tell me what she said? I am sure it was innocent but it sure didn’t look that way.

“She shows up for work, befriends a knowledgeable secretary, insists on eating in the employees' restaurant rather than with the executives, and seems genuinely concerned about Guillermo's health” was perfect SpanProf!! Nora is smart enough to ingratiate herself while learning about the business.

Slight rewind to the hammam. Halise viewed Sancar’s video. Elvan eavesdropped and heard about Yahya’s affair with Dudu. She cries outside the door.

Torture shack. Kavruk asks, where did I go wrong? Feride replies, I don’t see anything, in fact, you did very well. It is an infection that spread. Nare asks, if we get medicine for the infection, is he going to live? Feride thinks so but she has some bad news, Sancar’s spine is broken. He will need surgery, she says, you must go to the hospital, or he will be disabled. Nare wants clarification—by disabled you mean ... Feride replies, he will not walk again.

Nedim comes in with some good news, they've caught the woman. Nare’s look changes from despair to elation. She assures the unconscious Sancar, you're going to be fine. You will walk again, and you will not go to jail. You will go to a doctor, and he will cure you, I promise.

Nare goes to the olive grove office to confront Ceylan. How are you, Cemile? Or is it Fatma, Hatice, Pinar or whatever they call you? Ce - Cemile, Ceylan stutters, my name is Cemile, but they call me Ceylan. At least that's true, Nare replies.

Ceylan cries, I had no choice, Kahraman wanted me to do it, I had no choice. Nare asks her, [Turkish] who are you to Kahraman? I don't know, Ceylan says, his friend, his lover, his partner, I'm not sure. But for me, Kahraman has been my harbor. He rescued me from the clubs, he saved me from that life. That's why I do what he wants.

Nare seems to have some sympathy for Ceylan but tells her, you say it was Kahraman who planned the kidnapping but on that day I only saw you. I even had a composite sketch drawn. I did not slander you. Ceylan asks, what does that mean? Nare answers, it means that you will do what I tell you or I will send you straight to prison. Ceylan cries.

Ceylan shows up in Kman’s room. He asks, where have you been? Ceylan tells him, you must change your testimony and save the alacanin efesi (efe of the colored bird). Kahraman replies, ah, really? Ms. Ceylan orders it? Nare enters and says, no, I’m asking you. Kman asks what’s happening?

Nare tells him, if you don't change your statement about Sancar, I'm going to report Ceylan and she will go to prison. Can you imagine what she will say about the man who gave her the orders? Kman looks at Ceylan with disappointment. Ceylan urges him to change. If you don’t, I'll talk, and we will both go to jail. Nare adds, if you do, then all three will be free, you, Ceylan and Sancar.

Kman worries, if Sancar knows that the police are not after him, he is going to come looking for me and kill me. Nare tells Kman that Sancar will not kill him, he won’t be able to. She relates, Sancar was protecting me from Akin and he fell off the cliff. His condition is very serious, and he needs surgery. Kman asks to confirm, it’s very serious? And Akin? Akin fled, Nare replies. She gets in Kman’s face, so do the right thing and change your statement to save to Sancar or else ... Ceylan and you go to jail….you choose. Kman relents, okay, I will save Sancar. Good decision, Nare says and leaves. She cries tears of relief outside the door.

Kman tells Ceylan, I'll change my statement, you go home, you pack and then you leave. Ceylan begs, no, don't—Kman shouts, go!

Someone is banging on Dudu’s door. Uh, oh, it’s Halise! She pushes Dudu aside and enters. Dudu asks what’s wrong. Halise starts, couldn't you find another man to have an affair? You know, Dudu asks? Halise warns her, listen because I'm not going to repeat it, you will leave Yahya. You won't ruin his family, otherwise everyone will know, and you won't be able to show your face, understand?

Dudu counters, no, it seems to me that I can, señora. Everyone knows that the Efeoglu brothers have lovers, don't they? If Sancar has Nare, then Yahya can have me. Halise bristles, never dare to compare yourself to Nare because you are not the same. She has always respected Sancar’s marriage, unlike you who seduced a married man, you bitch. Dudu cautions Halise, if you keep insulting me, I swear I'll go to Elvan. I’ll ruin that marriage if you don't stay out of it.

Halise says if you were smart, you would not threaten an Efeoglu. Kahraman threatened my family and Sancar sent him to the hospital. You don't know what I'm capable of. Dudu thinks Halise should not underestimate her. She asks Halise, do you think Sancar shot Kahraman over that threat? I heard he shot him because of Nare. Halise is surprised. Dudu continues, Kahraman helped Akin kidnap Nare and that's why Sancar shot him. Dudu gets ready to drop a bomb on Halise, by the way, I found out and I'm so sorry, how is Sancar?

Sancar? Halise asks, why do you say this? Dudu says, please señora, you do not know what happened to him? You only think about Yahya and his affairs? Dudu readily informs Halise. In revenge for Nare, she says, Sancar took Akin to the mountain to throw him off the top. But Nare arrived, and what did she do? She decided to save Akin. Akin fled and Sancar fell from the cliff. Dudu adds the finishing touches. But of course, Nare didn't say anything to you, right? Do you see, Señora Halise? You should thank me that Yahya has not jumped off a cliff. The Isiklis are eating out on the patio. Gediz gets a call from his lawyer. Aha, alright, I understand. Gediz announces, Kahraman changed his statement, Sancar didn’t shoot him. Muge sighs in relief. Refika is happy as well. It means Gediz is off the hook. Gediz is not so happy. Muge says this is very good, Nare achieved what she wanted. Gediz asks, how? Muge replies, I mean Nare was able to convince Kahraman and I'm glad she did.

Gediz leaves the table and retreats to his room. He thinks of Guven,”if Akin dies, Nare will inherit a hundred million dollars.” He thinks of Nare, “even if I have to live as a fugitive, I will not leave the man I love.” He thinks back to what he told Nare at the shack, “you need to be protected from yourself, not from Akin or Kahraman or Sancar.

Gediz makes a call. He’s trying not to cry. Chief inspector, I want to report a crime. My ex-partner, Sancar Efe, murdered Akin Baydar. I understand that the body is buried somewhere in the Ulku Valley. And he is staying in a shack nearby. [Why, Gediz, why? Do you think Nare will love you now?] The traitorous bastard slides down against the door, and cries.

Nare enters the shack. How is Sancar? Feride says, the fever has dropped and the medicine helped with the pain. He will wake up. Should I hit him on the head? Nare laughs. Burrito Efe wakes up. [in Turkish] Sancar? He smiles and answers, “Narem”, my Nare. She asks, how are you, does it hurt a lot? It’s not bad, he replies. Nare tells him, don't worry, I called the ambulance, you're going to the hospital. Sancar asks about the police.

Nare brings him up to speed: we buried Akin and no one will look for him. I made Kahraman change his statement and the police are no longer looking for you. Nare Efe, you fixed everything, he says with a big smile. She smiles right back and says, Nare Efe [she said it!] will no longer be afraid that you will go to jail. You're free.

Sancar asks, my daughter? How is Melek? Nare says, she is fine and waiting for the difficult days to pass to be with you again. Sancar closes his eyes then utters, Menekse. He looks at Nare and tells her, she gave Melek the pills. But don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.

Sancar’s lawyer arrives at Meanie’s house. Meanie is carrying boxes while lazy Necdet lounges on the couch and eats. He warns her to be careful with his valuable classic games or he will break her face. Atike answers the door and lets the lawyer in. Necdet jumps up right away.

The lawyer says, Sancar Bey asked me to bring the new protocol for you to sign, here it is. Atike says she already signed. Why do I have to do it again, Meanie asks? [Turkish] The lawyer says he’s following orders and if she doesn’t accept the new conditions, Sancar Bey will use the testimony of Necdet to put her in prison for the attempted murder of his daughter. Meanie glares at her brother who avoids her gaze.

Meanie asks about the terms and Necdet grabs the document. He reads them with pleasure. The deed of the house will be in the name of Necdet. Atike likes that. Necdet continues, Menekse Yilmaz will live here until the child is born. Meanie is distressed.

Necdet says there’s more--the defendant will transfer all the shares from the company to an account for the child without her having the benefit of said account. And finally, Menekse Yilmaz will give custody and legal rights of the child to his father, Sancar Efeoglu, without being able to make a claim later. The lawyer says, if you don't sign, we will start with the criminal proceedings. Necdet says, give her the pen and Meanie has no choice.

As the lawyer leaves Meanie’s, Ceylan arrives with a suitcase. What are you doing here, what happened to you? Ceylan frantically explains, Sancar shot Kahraman, and he threw me out because I asked him to change his statement. Sancar fell from the cliff and is hurt. What will happen to the baby, Ceylan asks?

We see police cars heading somewhere. And hallelujah, EMTs are taking Sancar out of the shack and into an ambulance! We hear sirens and see an ambulance drive off. The camera cuts between Sancar and Nare, each looking worried.

The cops stop the ambulance and open the back. Nare is sitting there and there’s a long pause for looks. Nare gets out and sees Gediz drive up. Should she be so surprised to see him? The chief inspector shows up and introduces himself to Nare. We are looking for Sancar Efeoglu, he tells her. Nare shoots a nasty look over to Gediz and replies, you don’t say. And why are you looking, she asks the inspector? We suspect he murdered Akin Baydar. Nare claims to know nothing about that.

The inspector says, really? Yes, of course you can't tell me. Do you at least have information on the whereabouts of Mr. Efeoglu? Nare says she has no idea. Gediz asks, is he in the ambulance? And he goes to take a look. Ha, ha, it’s Feride in the ambulance! [how did they get her to agree to it?] The traitor Gediz has been outfoxed. Nare asks the inspector if they are being detained or can she take her patient to the hospital.

The inspector says they are free for now, but she'll be in big trouble if he finds out she’s collaborating with a criminal. With a criminal, Nare asks? Gediz snarks, that's right, because Ms. Nare would never hide one, right? Nare asks the inspector, do you have a wife? Why? Nare offers a supposition directed at Gediz, let's say I'm your enemy and call to report that the respected inspector murdered his wife, would you let them call you a criminal? The inspector answers, if the authorities found me guilty, I would have to accept it. Nare says, very good, thanks for the information and she excuses herself to get into the ambulance.

The inspector reminds her that Akin Baydar has hurt her in the past. That would be the reason for his death, right? We are going to start the investigation near the cliff. If you don't confess the truth, he warns, and if we find Akin's body, Sancar will be arrested and I'm afraid you will be, too. Nare tells the inspector to take Gediz with him. He's an expert at digging graves after all.

Okay, so where is Sancar? Wasn’t he in an ambulance? We see Kavruk lurking nearby watching what happened with Nare. There is another ambulance with Sancar inside. Kavruk tells him, they left. Sancar is relieved. The two ambulances meet up. Kavruk asks Nare, what did they want? They are looking for Akin’s grave, she replies, and I would like to bury Gediz with him [lol].

Sancar asks Nare if she’s okay. [Turkish] I don't know, she answers, you said that Gediz would betray you. You warned me and I said he wouldn’t do that. But you were right, he’s come this far and betrayed his friend. Sancar is feeling vindicated. He smiles, if a friend can betray, an enemy even more so, and we swore to be enemies, right? Nare says, don't pretend it doesn't upset you, okay? I feel like I was punched in the throat. Sancar replies, an unexpected blow can be overwhelming. But we expected this and prepared, right Narem?

Sancar says, I'm going to ask you a question, and I want you to be honest with me. My body hurts, but I don't feel anything in my legs. Nare thinks back to what Feride said in the shack. Sancar asks Nare to come closer and look him in the eye. Tell me the truth, he says, be honest. Why can't I feel my legs? Nare doesn’t answer.

Feride interrupts addressing Kavruk, I don't understand anything. We ran from the police in such a strange way, just so these two flirt here, couldn't they do it in the shack? Sancar asks his hala, why didn't you hand me over to the police? It was the right thing to do. Feride snaps back, we planned to deliver you, but you should thank this woman and her daughter.

Seriously speaking, Sancar tells Feride, I appreciate it. You saved my life. He thanks Kavruk, too, I owe you my life. Kavruk answers, no, you don't owe me anything. Sancar asks his question again. He looks at Feride, tell me the truth and don't lie to me, will I walk again? You don't like me, so you can be honest. Will I walk again? Before Feride can says anything, Nare answers, of course you will. She looks at Kavruk, isn’t that right? He assents. She assures Sancar, we will find a doctor to help you walk again and as soon as possible, okay? No one looks very hopeful except Nare.

A woman in a skmpy red outfit arrives at Kman’s house. She asks the guard for help with her luggage. He asks her, is anyone waiting for you? Yes, Akin didn't inform you? I am Sahra, she introduces herself, Dr. Sahra Yalcin. [she looks more like a prepago than a doctor to me] The guard says he did not notify us, he is not here. Not here? Isn’t this Kahraman Boz’ place? Yes, but he isn’t here either. Sahra asks for Ceylan. Akin told me that she is here. Sahra strikes out again.

The guard tells Sahra that Mr. Akin left a few days ago. Sahra says that's impossible, he sent me this location. She thanks the guard and gets back in her car. Looks like someone is watching from a distance in another car. Sahra makes a call. Unavailable, please leave a message. Sahra leaves a message: “Akin Baydar, what are you up to? I arrived at your location, and they tell me you're not here. what are you doing? lf this is another one of your jokes, you are going to pay dearly, did you hear? No kidding, Akin, call me when you can.”

Ceylan asks Meanie, what do I do now? Do I stay here or do I go? Do you still need the child or not? Yes, she needs the child. Sancar didn’t have me arrested because I'm pregnant, she says, if he knew the truth, I would be sent to prison. Atike says that’s if he's alive. Meanie says if he dies then that damned Nare will go after me. She looks at Necdet, and you will be her witness!

Necdet thinks Meanie has no manners. You live in my house and someone supports you, so keep quiet. Ceylan is smirking in the background. Meanie hopes Sancar will die so she can receive the baby's inheritance. She tells Necdet, then you will no longer be able to say anything.

Ceylan objects to this thinking. He can’t die. I’d rather the other guy (Akin) die. Sancar Efe should fly away from here with the alaca kuş. They need to be together, the legend must continue. Ha, ha, in the Turkish, Necdet sings a terrible rendition of the “Alacanin Efesi”.

Meanie freaks and throws a pillow at her brother. Ceylan calms the situation. Let’s take time to think what we can do. She says, if Akin is gone for good or has passed away, who is going to help us? What are we going to do?

Meanie has no clue. She shouts, I don’t know what the hell to do! She gets a call from Dr. Sahra Yalcin. Yes, doctor? Sahra says, is this Menekse? You are not pregnant, it is Ceylan who carries the baby? Meanie is worried, what is she getting at. Sahra says to calm down, don't be afraid. Akin called me to help you with false pregnancy.

Meanie is relieved, of course, Akin said he would take care of everything, right? Sahra says, that's right, although I can’t find him. He told me he was staying at Kahraman Boz' house and he doesn’t answer his phone either. Do you know where he is? Meanie says she doesn’t know and invites her to stay with her. Perfect, Sahra replies.

Meanie announces, I don't care if Akin died, and I have no idea if Sancar will survive or not. What I do know is that the Efeoglus will have their grandchild.

And we are out.

She did look kind of grim and the background music was ominous but she said "Ah mi sol, I hope that Helena doesn't make you suffer." I think she was just looking out for him as a friend. I've been trying to think what secret Nora might have to pass on to Ricardo and I don't know what it might be either. Spanprof, I liked your comment about the fashion parade having security cameras - Ha! Yolanda always seems to have a lackey to do her dirty work. Beba didn't look very excited about having to steal again and unlike the lace she pilfered, the jewelry is being watched.

Gediz crying was pitiful. Was he crying because he betrayed his friend? If he was, I'm sure it was Nare he was thinking of; and he just hammered in that last nail that will end any kind of relationship Nare would have with him.

Though I don't like Dudu, I was impressed with how she shot down Hellise. Dudu can get hers later.

Delia was such a talented, prolific writer. I had read of her passing.

It seemed she had a very fulfilling life. How fitting that she fell in love with her husband at first sight! They had a long and hopefully happy marriage.

I do not believe I saw any of the TNs she created, but I greatly respect her lauded contributions to telenovelas especially as you noted "the American soap opera's addictive cousin".
