Ep 26: Delusions, Allusions, and Illusions…What a Mess!

Cholo tells Yuri that she is the most beautiful thing that happened in his life. They kiss until the guard interrupts and reminds them that they cannot physically touch. After Cholo apologize to Yuri for the kiss, Yuri assures him that she would die of sadness if he is truly sorry.

Julieta tells Fabian and SerJerk that she is serious…and reminds them that it was what Serjerk had asked for. Since they remain quiet Juliet gets her confirmation. She cannot stay where she is not wanted. Fabian tries to talk her out of leaving, but Julieta knows that once the news gets out the other stations they will be calling her. SerJerk then tries to talk her out of leaving too. but she continues to stand her ground and suggests that they hire Alicia...so they continue with their farce of a relationship.

Lucas tells Alicia that their relationship started out on the wrong foot, it was not easy for him to accept that she came to actually work at the foundation and wants to start over so that they can work together. Alicia is glad that his attitude has changed and accepts his offer to start over.

Enigma finds Culebra and asks that they meet to talk.

Yuri is outside the prison with a big smile when Moises calls. She lies about where she is. Though Moises notices that she sounds odd, he tells her that he is waiting for her. Yuri assures him that she is on the way. Meanwhile, Cholo is inside with his own big smile.

At the bakery, Gonzo is being scolded for being out. He calls Suso and asks him to call his cop friend so that he can investigate Samuel.

In Juleech’s office, Chiquis is dismayed that Julieta is leaving but Julieta assures her that SerJerk will soon be coming through the door. Lo and behold, she is right!!!

Fabian arrives at a meeting with Diablo and Martin who are there to negotiate. Martin sarcastically asks that Fabian give SerJerk a bigger office that will fit his (SerJerk’s) ego. Martin also wants more autonomy but Fabian reminds him that the show belongs to SerJerk.

In Julieta’s office, SerJerk is groveling at his best. After Julieta calls him a coward, he asks her to forgive him for everything that has happened with Alicia. When she reminds him of all that he has bought for Alicia, he tells her that those are just material things. He loves her (Juleech)!!

Enigma and Culebra are at his hangout. When he asks if she likes guys, she admits that she does…because she is a girl! When Cholo refuses to believe her, she lifts her sweatshirt and SHOWS him her top equipment. Culebra’s jaw drops with a thud! Miranda tells Culebra exactly who she is and adds that she goes to his school. She dressed as a boy to be allowed into the team and the competition. She had never belonged to a team; and she was always alone and called odd...until she met him. Culebra was the first who made her feel a part of something. Culebra unmercifully tells her that she is like all girls…a liar… ad he never wants to see her again! Miranda leaves and cries as she walks out

Lucas tells the accountant to make sure he finds any inconsistencies that Alicia might find. After he recalls Serjerk’s words about paying for his mother’s surgery, Alicia comes in with Luna and her mother..

Yuri arrives at Moises’s office where he and the wedding planner have been waiting for her. As the wedding planner talks, Yuri ‘s mind is on Cholo. Moises and the wedding planner notice that she is distracted; and the wedding planner comments that she has never seen a bride as disinterested in her wedding as Yuri.

At the prison, Cholo is hopeful and won’t settle for life in the prison.

Karina meets with Facundo and shows him some documents. Facundo thinks that with that info they can get to the truth. When he asks how things are going with Mujica, Karina replies that Mujica knows a lot but he is slippery as a snake. Facundo then asks how things are going with Martin, but Karina prefers not to discuss that.

At the foundation, Alicia gets a text from Martin who asks if she is still smiling. She responds with a call and tells him that he has such a knack for calling her when she needs to hear him. Martin invites her to the theater, but Alicia doesn’t want to leave her kids alone.. She will however go home and watch a movie. Martin suggests that she tell him what movie she will watch so that he can watch it too…and they can text each other about it. After Martin hangs up, Diablo assumes that the smiling Martin was talking to Alicia.

At Julieta’s office, SerJerk is still groveling. He tells Juleech that he is happiest when he is with her. When Juleech tells him that she no longer wants to be in a sneaky relationship, Serjerk tells her that he already asked his attorney to start the divorce process. He then asks if he can spend the night at her house. Juleech turns her back to him and smirks. After he leaves, Juleech gives out a gleeful shriek.

Gonzo is at his work and is not happy when his boss tells him that he needs to go work the register.

Fedora is about to leave in her car when Samuel shows up and starts banging on the car. He wants her to open the door, but Fedora refuses and drives off.

Miranda is home ripping out her computer. Yahya enters and thinks she has gone crazy. Downstairs Alicia enters and sees Emiliano who informs her that SerJerk has told him that, effective immediately, he will not be working for her.

At the station, SerJerk sees Martin and wonders what he is doing there…Martin will NOT work there! Fabian hisses that they are in a crisis and Martin WILL return to work there….under certain conditions that they will now discuss. When Fabian grabs SerJerk’s arm. SerJerk hisses, “Don’t touch me!”

Yuri tells Chela that she and Cholo kissed, so Chela was right…she is completely in love with Cholo! When Chela asks about Moises, Yuri shares that she felt horrible today when she was with him. Chela suggests that she forget about Cholo since Yuri has a bright future ahead of her. Yuri knows that Cholo is in prison, but still…

Meanwhile, Cholo is also telling Asote that he kissed Yuri, but Asote tells him not to get his hopes up. They are from different worlds, and Cholo’s world is in there in the prison.

Eva us trying to talk Alicia into taking Miranda to a psychologist since Miranda pushed her out of the room. Fedora arrives and when Eva leaves, she tells Alicia about her encounter with Samuel who already found out that she reported him, Alicia asks Fedora to stay there at her house for as long as necessary.

Suso arrives at the bakery and mocks Gonzo for working there. Gonzo ignores him and tells him to give him the info he asked for.

At the station. SerJerk assures Martin that he has not changed his opinion of him.. and once Martin makes his first his mistake, he is out! SerJerk will personally make sure Martin won’t find a job elsewhere. He will not make things easy for Martin; in fact, he will make sure Martin’s days there will be hell. Martin is up for the challenge!

Culebra is with bitchy girl and tells her that one of the guys on the team just told him that she is a girl. When he tells her it was Miranda, bitchy girl laughs…she new the odd girl would do something like that.

Alicia talks to Miranda who admits only that she is have a little problem with a guy. When she asks Alicia how she is doing, Alicia admits that she is not doing very well.

At a gym, Gonzo confronts Samuel and doesn’t get too many words in before Samuel elbows him hard, knocking him down…and Samuel continues to pummel him!

At Alicia’s house, Alicia takes Fedora to a bedroom. Fedora feels bad about staying there, but Alicia assures her that her family will love having her there (especially Gonzo!)

Yuri is reading for her book and thinking about Cholo. Her phone rings and it’s Cholo who reads the am e passage she was reading. They both think that what is happening between them is odd. Neither will forget about the kiss, but Yuri is afraid; she wonders what will happen next.

Alicia enters her bedroom to find SerJerk there. He brings up the little surprise she sent him with Quijada…and he was thinking…What if he gets forceful and what if he told her that he doesn’t want to sleep in a hotel or take a bath in a bath that is not his bath. What if he told her that he will not give up what is his?! How will she take him out of his house?! Because she knows very well that this is HIS HOUSE!!

A few things I am wondering about

How long until Sergio is allowed to move in with Julieta? The more she makes him pay, the more he likes it.
How long until Yuri cancels the wedding already? Maybe Moisés will do us the favor. Please do!
Fedora is really going to stay at Alicia’s? Why not file a harassment charge with the the police and get an order of protection? It looks like Fedora has money, so why not have her lawyer accompany her?
How long until Alicia finds out about Fedora and Gonzo?
How will Gonzo explain the beating? Looks like he could end up in the emergency room.
Will Gonzo attempt a sexual rendezvous in his parents’ home?
Miranda told Culebra about bitchy girl making fun of her and then bitchy girl laughed when Culebra told her about Enigma being Miranda. Will that change his mind about Miranda?

I'm just wondering if Sergio actually intends to move in with Julieta. Since he's making a very loud point that the house is HIS, will he kick out Alicia and try to bring in Julieta?? I wouldn't put it past him!

Moisés is a lot like SerJerk, will his ego allow Yuri to just drop him?

It does look like Gonzo will end up in the emergency room, so I don't think he'll be making any moves on Fedora any time soon...oh, but then this is a TN, so the magical TN medicine will probably have him chasing after Fedora very soon. If Fedora hadn't put a stop to him at SerJerk's surprise birthday party, I'm sure Gonzo would have wanted much more...and that was with a lot of people around! I can just imagine what he will try now that it's just hte family.
My question about Culebra and Miranda is: will Culebra acknowledge that he was somewhat obsessed with Enigma; and will he now realize that he had reason to be attracted to her? And there were several occasions when he witnessed the bullying at school and would look at Miranda as she would walk away (or be taken away); so how is it that he didn't recognize her when she took off her beanie/cap? If there is one character who really changed, it's Culebra. The writer's made us think that he was going to be a good guy, but he is turning out to be quite the louse.

Yep, magic telenovela medicine could have Gonzo between the sheets with Fedora as Alicia knocks at her bedroom door sooner rather than later. I am presuming Alicia is going to find out about them but since she just caught Sergio and Julieta in bed, they probably won’t do the same schtick with Gonzo and Fedora . . . Or would they?

Thanks for your take on Culebra. Yes, to me it was also odd that he didn’t know that Miranda was a school mate. Clearly beanie time. I am sort of wondering if he was turned off by nasty girl Nicole’s reaction. I agree that they haven’t done a good job with the Culebra character.

Given the chaos in Alicia’s life and what is to come, Martín is looking better and better.

RgvChick, I cannot wait for “Vencer el pasado”. If you go to the Las Estrellas channel on Youtube they have the video press release introducing the novela and all of the characters introducing themselves in families and groups. It will be nice to know who just about everyone is when this starts. The theme is clearly contemporary.
 

TU AMOR ep 54 part 1

Yolanda and Beba are at the office. Yolanda is on the phone telling Patricia that Helena has been shown for what she is, a thief. You get a ten madrina, says Pat. I'm officially shocked. I couldn't have done it better. Helena involved in an international incident. Even my coffee tastes better thanks to you she says picking up her cup. I have to go, Yolanda says. I have several calls. I'm sure they will want to know my opinion about what that thief Helena Vargas did. Bye love. Patricia hangs up and tells herself that Helena will be so distracted by the news that she won't be able to do anything to stop her from taking Hector.

Lucha brings Ricardo some coffee at the mansion but he says he doesn't want any breakfast. Coffee is fine. She thinks he looks bad and asks him why he doesn't go rest. He says he will later and she excuses herself. A call comes in from Almeida. Ricardo looks around before taking the call. Where have you been?, he asks. I've been trying to communicate with you. (Lucha hides where she can overhear) I need my money, says Ricardo. Remember that you and I need everything to go well. OK, see you soon.

Consuelo is at home trying out some makeup on Valentina. Horacio and Claudio come in and Claudio is blown away by it. Horacio insists that she set a wedding date before she goes to work. OK, she says, why don't we get married... Her phone rings and it's Majo. Val tells Claudio to turn on the TV to channel 53. It's Bernard the reporter, giving the news about the theft at fashion week. They realize that it's an emergency and Helena will need them. As they start to leave, the video of Valentina putting some of Yolanda's gold buttons in her pocket comes on. Majo calls Camila who gets upset at the news. It starts trending on twitter causing Nora to interrupt a business meeting. Adelaida calls Guillermo. Claudio calls Hector.

Majo tells Helena that the magazine "A Fondo" wants an interview. Leonardo bursts in to say that Galerías de Oro wants to cancel their contract. Tell them it's all a lie, says Helena. Majo says that over ten magazines want to talk to her. No, Helena says, call Olmedo the jeweler. He has to clear this up.

Guillermo wants to get Nora more involved in the business. Do you want me to sign a bunch of checks?, she asks. No, I want you to sort this list of imports. Empty all the information in the file that's in the USB. Order it, print it, and we'll present it to accounting. And be thinking about where you want to finish your prepatoria. Ok, she says and leaves as Enrique comes in. Take care of these pending files, orders Guillermo. I need results when I get back. He calls Humberto and and tells him to establish dates for some petitions. Consider it done, says Humberto. They leave and Enrique is alone in the office. He calls Patricia to tell her they have a golden opportunity. He has access to Guillermo's computer. How do I unlock it?, he asks.

Claudio, Valentina, and Hector show up about the same time to support Helena. Every day is worse than the one before, she says. Claudio tells her he's going sue the network for defamation. They're going to have to present evidence that they obviously won't have. How is Camila?, asks Helena. Val tries to send her a message. Camila isn't doing well. She came home crying and is inconsolable. She tells her mother that she never wants to leave the house again. She perks up a little when she receives a call from Ricardo. He asks her how she is doing but follows up by asking about Valentina's wedding. He tells Camila he knows she would never do anything like what she is accused of. Consuelo realizes that this is all Yolanda's doing.

Leonardo asks Hector, Shouldn't you be taking people to the bus station or driving a taxi, instead of interfering here? Hector takes him out of Helena's office and asks him why he told their mother the flight got in at 12 and not at 11? You made me look like an idiot, he says. You don't need help looking like an idiot in front of Helena, says Leonardo. That little joke is going to cost you, Hector warns. I'm not the one who left my phone, Leo says, and you also have a lot of compromising messages from Patricia. You should use a pass code that's not as obvious as... I know Helena's watching, says Hector, but I'll bust your nose right here. Helena steps in and tells Hector that he can go. She has Claudio and Valentina to help her and she'll call if she needs him. She stares darts at Leonardo. Don't talk that way again to my novio, she says. It bothers me, a lot.

Ricardo meets up with Almeida and asks him what he found out. You're not going to like what I am going to say, says Almeida. There is no way to help Valentina so she doesn't have problems with the Treasury. Of course, says Ricardo. Everything that goes into an account is registered. And because it's such a large amount it draws more attention, Almeida tells him. I think you should tell her the truth soon and look for a good lawyer to help you. I haven't found the way or the moment to tell Valentina, says Ricardo. If I were you I'd hurry, Almeida responds, because they could give her up to nine years in jail for tax evasion. This is a nightmare, Ricardo says. If I tell Valentina I'll recover my money but I'll lose her forever. What am I going to do?

Enrique is on the phone with Cibernético. He tries another password on Guillermo's computer but it doesn't work either. Cibernético says he can put a Trojan in Guillermo's computer so he can control it remotely. It will cost him though. Just say how much, says Enrique. I'm not talking about money, Ciber responds, I need you to get my buddy out of jail.

Leonardo is in his office on the phone with Yolanda. He says that Helena is going crazy. They're talking about cancelling contracts. Magazines are calling to ask if she's a thief nonstop. And this is only the beginning, Yolanda promises. No one can stop the fall of Helena Vargas. But staining my sisters name?, he asks. Collateral damage dear, she says. You're going to have to accept that it's inevitable.

Guillermo and Rosa Maria are at a restaurant. He's telling her why it was so important to find his daughter when the news about Helena comes on the TV. What about your other daughter?, she asks. It doesn't look like things are going very well for her. I don't have a relationship with her, he says. I'd prefer to stay out of it. I imagine if she's being accused of theft it must be for some reason. It's best not to think about it.

Consuelo calls Valentina who asks how Camila is doing. She's very sad, says Connie, she can't stop crying. I need to ask you a favor. I know who did this to my daughter. I need you to bring me to Yolanda's. Why?, asks Val. What are you going to do? Defend my daughter, answers Connie. OK, but I'm coming with you, says Val. See you later.

 

TU AMOR ep 54 part 3

Patricia calls Hector who impatiently asks what she wants. She says she thought he'd be with Helena with all that is going on. Leonardo was there which always bugs me, he says, and besides there wasn't a lot that I could do for her. Well, she says, I wanted to apologize for the kiss the other day. Nothing happened, he says. You felt bad, and that was all. I want you to know I would never do anything like that to Helena. I better call some other time, Pat says. Hector rejected you again, Nora laughs. How ugly it must feel to have a simple cab driver keep rejecting you. Not as much as being abandoned at birth as a result of an affair, says Pat. Learn to knock. Get out of my office. Bye, says Nora smiling as she turns to go.

Helena has a stand up meeting at the taller to reassure her employees. Some suppliers have turned their backs on them but no one's job is in danger. They will continue to move ahead. Val tells Helena that she's with her and gives her a hug. And don't forget, she tells the employees, we work for one of the best fashion houses in the country. Everyone seems reassured and claps loudly.

Nora asks Humberto to help her with the assignment her father gave her. He's hesitant because he has a lot of things to do. Oh please, she says, I can't do it without you. Later, she shows the result to her father who says he's very proud of her work. You finished so fast, Pat says. Because all day you were taking selfies and posting photos. Guillermo calls for Humberto and asks if he's done what he was asked. He says he's just doing it now. He was a little sick. I can't stand excuses or lies, says Guillermo. I don't want it to happen again.

Helena is frustrated that Olmeda won't answer her calls. He could clear up everything as a misunderstanding. She knows that Claudio has a wedding to plan and it's hard for her to ask, but she needs him to go to the TV station in Monterrey tomorrow. She's afraid everyone's job is at stake. She's sorry but he's her lawyer and she needs him to take care of this personally.

Bernard is on the phone with Yolanda. He says that Helena is trying to sue him. Luckily he recorded the call of the owner of the bracelet who said it disappeared for a while. Yolanda tells him that Helena won't be able to resist the flood of cancellations from all her distributors.

Helena is able to convince the owner of a chain of stores not to drop her line of products by giving them to her at cost. She tells Majo they'll be OK as long as UDB and Blue Deep don't cancel. Majo has to sit down because she's feeling a little sick. Helena suggests that she see a doctor. Majo has to leave to throw up.

 

TU AMOR ep 54 part 4

Hector and Luna quarrel because he wants to get Mina out of the barrio someday. Luna takes it personally and is offended by it. He tells her he doesn't want to lose her friendship. She says that she'd sacrifice their friendship 1000 times for one day with him as his woman.

Ricardo tells Adelaida he has a problem he can't solve but he doesn't want to talk about it. She suggests he talk to someone he respects. Patricia wants to know what problem he has that he can't solve.

Humberto tells Guillermo that he emailed the work that he was assigned. Guillermo checks his computer which says there were 14 failed attempts to get in.

Claudio sends Val's video to another lawyer so his expets can look it over. Claudio wants to use it in his law suit for damages. I'm going to get you and Helena out of this mess he tells Valentina's picture.

At Helena's, Valentina asks Consuelo if she's still sure that she wants to confront Yolanda. Connie thinks it's time to confront that harpy. How do you know Yolanda Pratas mom?, Leonardo asks. I don't know her, says Connie, but I saw her at Nora's persentation party. I'm sure that woman is behind evrything. Do you feel OK?, Leo asks. It's obvious she has nothing to do with it. The reporter found out because I'm sure he bribed some cop. How are you so sure?, Val asks. How did he get my video if only Yolanda and Beba had it? I don't know, he says, Hackers? They steal things about famous people all the time. You have answers for everything, says Val. Why are you defending her? You're going to confront Yolanda?, Leonardo mocks. And what are you going to say? "Señora Yolanda, Don't make my daughter suffer more"? And how about you Valentina? "Confess that you set a trap for me"? You think she's going to receive a woman that stole an accessory and an open air market dealer like you mom? Connie slaps him hard.
 

TU AMOR. Another splendid and wonderfully detailed recap, JpelD! This episode was painful to watch. I hope Claudio sues as soon as possible. And I hope Helena and Val get big cash settlements. Duh! Majo is pregnant. She's showing all the novelaland symptoms. Patricia is majorly underestimating Hector's intelligence. Oh, oh! With that large embezzled amount in her name Val could be in for even bigger legal problems. Do the right thing, Ricardo! (I expect he might, on his deathbed). It's unconscionable the way Leo is colluding in the persecution of his sister. Collateral damage indeed! And I suspect it's just as well Connie doesn't tell Leo she used to work for Yolanda. But I am glad that she finally seems to notice what a creep Leo is.
 

Embajador S2 #33 part 1

Sancar has had a little time to think about what Nare said and what she showed him. He starts to lift himself up when Nare bursts into the room. He quickly lets go of the rails. Nare lets him have it [Turkish], look at me ... I won't leave you alone until you start walking! If your life is dear to you, don't tell me it's over!

Properly shamed, Sancar says with a smile, [Turkish] okay. I agree. But what if I get hungry or want to sleep? Can’t I say it’s over? Nare says, no, you can't say it, I'll know when to say it. Sancar teases her, okay hatun (Ottoman Turkish honorific used for the sultan’s consorts), it will be as you command. She tells him, don’t mock or I will make things bad for you. He laughs, I would never dare to do it, have mercy. They hug.
Nare asks, are you ready? Let's get started. Sancar gets up, tries again and falls.

We hear Sancar’s voice over several scenes [Turkish] I still remember that day perfectly. I will never be ready to see the scars that I caused you. When you showed them to me, I realized something very important. While you carry these scars on your soul and on your body, like a silent trail, even if you forgive me, I will never be able to forgive myself for what I did to you.

We see Sahra doing an ultrasound on Ceylan with Meanie watching.

Sancar continues: The human being does not forgive, even if he does not react and does not scream and does not cry… he keeps it inside. Perhaps he will imprison hatred deep in his heart. Perhaps he is waiting for the judgment day. But the human being does not forgive.
Back to Sancar doing his PT with Nare’s encouragement. He falls and tries again.

Only you ... only you forgive. I do not understand why. Is it because you are an angel? But since you forgive, I say to myself, "wow, Sancar, this is the legend, she is able to forgive. Be worthy of your legend. Don’t compare the mountains to the ground. Nobody is asking you to cross the desert, just take one step. only one".

Sancar falls again. He gives Nare a kiss on the cheek.

The police are digging at another site. Gediz and Guven are there waiting. They find nothing.

Sancar continues: but if you really can't forgive, and if you have decided to bury your grievances in the ground with our love, I would understand it, too. It's your right. I hope you haven't, but ...it's your decision. I’ve been tested by many betrayals, but you have been hurt by my betrayal. I know you won't claim it from me, but you have suffered, and it was my fault. If your wound bleeds, mend your wound with love.

I know that I have not valued you and I also know that I do not deserve your forgiveness. I will devote my life to you and to my daughter. You told me you were a kite without a string, a leaf without a tree. You also said that nobody would love you because you didn't have a father.

Embajador S2 #33 part 2

Sancar and Melek are alone in Grandpa’s room. She encourages her father, come on, come closer to me. Come, I want to give you a big hug and I will also give you a kiss, can you give me a kiss? Sancar looks tired and discouraged.

With the sweetest smile, Melek holds her hand out to her father, give me your hand, come here, never let me go. The look on Sancar’s face changes and he’s ready to try again. Come on, you can do it, Melek says. Sancar does it! He’s made a small step. Melek moves towards him…dad! Sancar tells her to wait, and he will come closer to her. You walked, dad!

Melek’s hand is out, Sancar takes it and father and daughter celebrate with a big hug. I did it, Sancar says, I did it! Melek wants to tell her mother. Sancar stops her, don't say anything yet. I want to walk well, and we will give her a surprise.

One month later…

Celyan is visibly pregnant. She’s returning home from the bakery. Sahra arrives home from the night shift. Ceylan tells her she will prepare something for her to eat. Sahra’s phone rings before she can enter the house with Celyan. Text: "i sent you a location, let's meet there". Sahra says, I hope it's you, Akin.

Nare and Sancar are having breakfast in Grandpa’s room. She gets a text from Zehra: "Nare, I went out with Melek, but the car broke down at Cennetkoy (that’s their beach). Can you come get us if it’s not a bother?" Sancar has an odd look.

Nare wonders why they are there at this time of day. She tells Sancar she’s going, and they will start with the PT when she returns. He doesn’t answer her. Nare gives him a kiss on the head and says, today is a great day to take your first step, is that okay? He answers, inshallah. Before she leaves, she asks him if he wants to go downstairs. No, he replies, you can go.

Sancar waits to make sure Nare has left, and then he gets up out of his chair! He’s standing on his own! Sancar Efe is back in action and by the look on his face, he’s got something planned.

Nare shows up at Cennetkoy. She looks out on the beach and says, Gece? We see the black horse tied to the little rowboat. Nare, in her brown beach boots, heads over to Gece and pets him. She looks all around, no one is there.

Nare turns and we see Sancar standing at a distance. She’s stunned, then a big smile. He starts walking towards her. She laughs and goes to meet him. She places her hands on his face, [Turkish] You are walking! Sancar replies, and at the end of the road, it’s you, Narem. He gets down on one knee and holds up a ring. [What a lousy place to put a commercial!]

Sancar? Sancar looks over at Gece, then says to his beloved, Narem … Alaca Kuşum … will you ride on Gece’s back and become a bride in my mansion? Without hesitation she answers—Evet! Evet! Evet! Yes! Yes! Yes! He slides the ring on her finger and kisses it. He turns her hand over and kisses her palm. He gets up and they embrace, smiling and laughing. [I wanted another kiss on the beach, oh well, at least he put a ring on it.]

Sahra shows up at Gediz’ special place. He’s got his back to her, facing the water. He turns, takes out a phone and dials. Her phone rings. I’m calling you, he says. She looks at her phone, it’s a call from Akin.

Who are you, Sahra asks? Gediz isikli. Why are you texting me, she asks, where is my brother? Gediz replies, you did not find him. You have failed. After so many days here, and after infiltrating Sancar’s mansion and then acting as a true friend to Nare.

Sahra says, enough games, tell me who you are. Where is my brother Akin? Gediz answers, everyone wonders the same thing, where can Akin be? The difference is that you are looking for him alive and I am looking for him dead.

Embajador S2 #33 part 3

What? Gediz offers a snarky condolence and adds, your brother is in hell. Sahra needs to process this and she sits. Gediz tells her, I know it’s difficult to assimilate, but there is no time, there are still things to finish. There is still a body to find. Is he really dead, Sahra asks? I was told they buried the body, Gediz answers. Months have passed, she says. Gediz repeats, months, I know.

Sahra pushes Gediz away, you wasted my time for months. She keeps pushing him and he seems amused by her anger. I did not want to believe he was dead, she tells him, you just gave me hope!

Gediz tells her to calm down. Seriously, she asks, do you want me to calm down? She starts pushing him again, you knew that my brother had died. You knew it even though I was looking for him! You sent messages pretending to be him, what kind of psycho are you?

Gediz grabs her wrists and responds, I told you to calm down. And about being a psychopath ...you are. I read all your messages. I know about the plan you had with your brother for Menekse’s fake pregnancy. You will make a woman give birth before her time. Who is the psychopath? I’m sure you are asking why your idiot brother didn't delete the messages.

Sahra asks, why are you looking for his corpse? Gediz says, the idiot was worth nothing alive, but he is worth a lot dead. And now that I know that you are a friend of Nare’s ... you will be able to help me. Why the hell would I do that, she asks? Gediz says let's talk about this at breakfast.

Sancar and Nare arrive back at the mansion. He goes to her car, opens her door and puts out his hand, hello, wife. She asks, did you call me wife? Then what should I call you, he replies, the ambassador's daughter? I will call you the most beautiful woman. Besides, I already put the ring on your finger and very soon you will be my wife.

Nare says just so you know, I will not call you husband. Sancar says, we'll see. What will we see? If you are going to call me husband or not, he tells her, let's see it now. Nare doesn’t understand, what are we going to see now?

Sancar says, [Turkish] there is no point waiting, let's go and get married now. We are already married before God. He tells her, Efe took the alaca kuş by the hand and stole her. He took her to the registry office. Doesn’t that match the legend?

Nare objects. I don't want the legend, I just want a normal wedding. I want to choose a dowry, go to a hairdresser, put on a wedding dress. I want to ride the horse. I want to get married like all the other girls in the village.

Sancar seems pleasantly surprised, ah, do you want the same as all the other brides? That's right, she answers, I don't want a legend, I just want us to have a normal life. I want us to be a normal couple. Sancar’s at a loss. A normal couple. How does that work? How is a normal couple supposed to be, Nare?

Nare’s thinking about it, too. I don't know... for example ...we could go out for coffee somewhere. We can go for a walk on the beach holding hands in the morning… go out to some romantic dinner and things like that.

Sancar thinks it sounds good. But he adds, once we get married, we can have dinner here, there is no need to go out and come home late. We will be a normal couple. We can make tea, wear our PJs and sit down to watch movies. Nare says, ok but then you have to peel fruit for Melek and me while we watch movies.

Sancar answers, yes, just say what you want and I'll bring it. Really, she asks, everything we want? Of course, he replies. Nare then says, but I would be mad because I would forbid Melek to eat junk food and she would convince you to buy it. Sancar adds, you would get upset on a daily basis, right? You would complain about your MIL [we are sure of that one.]

Okay, I will, she tells him, and when you forget our anniversary, I'll be upset and I won't talk to you for three days. Sancar stops her there, that’s too many days. We must reconcile by nightfall. even if we fight, I know that I can reassure you. because I know you feel the same as me.

Sancar happily shouts, I don’t give a damn about this legend! What is this legend?! How wonderful it is to be a normal couple! They hug. Nare says, that's right, we will reunite like this. Sancar tells her, you won’t burn anymore. You will only be happy. Nare looks at him… we will be very happy. He kisses her forehead and they head through the gate.

Sancar replies, I know. But for now, we will go to our daughter and tell her that we will be the most normal family ever seen. Before that, Nare says, Melek and everyone in the mansion must give me an account. Everyone already knew that you could walk, and they didn't mention it to me at all. How could they hide that from me?

Sancar says, to be able to kneel in front of you, first I had to stand up. She reminds him, I thought you said you only knelt when doing the zeybek? Sancar answers, back then ... I was an immature man. And now, she asks, are you mature? I'm not so sure, Sancar says, but ... I have learned a lot.

Sancar gets a call from Feride. She is frantic. Come quick, you have to take the body out of here now. You buried a corpse here, you have to take it away now! What happened, Sancar asks? What happened, she repeats, I’m serious. Come here right now and dig it up or I'll throw it in the river! Sancar tries to get her to calm down. He tells her he’s coming.

Nare asks, what happened? What did she say? Sancar tells her, I have to go get the body. Why? Is there a problem? Sancar says who knows, she is superstitious. He says he will find Kavruk and they will reassure her. Sancar leaves and on the way out, he starts shouting, two minutes, that’s all I ask, to be normal for two minutes! Why?

They cut a scene at the beginning of the episode that would explain why Feride freaked out. She had a dream. Sancar and Kavruk were digging a grave on her property while Gediz watched. Sancar got in the grave and Gediz started to pile the dirt on him. Feride saw Sancar’s tombstone.

Halise and Gulsiye are at the table on the balcony preparing food. While Zehra paces. Halise asks, where are Elvan and Melek? Zehra says Melek is doing online classes and Elvan…. Zehra is upset. She asks, mother, does my SIL really know she was cheated on? Halise looks at Gulsiye before answering, no. Are you sure, Zehra asks? Then why is she talking to a lawyer?

Halise rushes from the table with Gulsiye and Zehra following. Elvan is out on the porch with her lawyer. She is signing papers. Elvan introduces them to her lawyer, Mr. Ismail. He’s finished and Gulsiye sees the lawyer out.

Halise questions Elvan, tell me, what did you hear for you to get divorced? Elvan answers, what should I have heard? You tell me. Is there anything else I need to know? Oops, Halise hesitates…no, no, why did you call the lawyer?

Elvan says she didn’t want to do anything behind her back. She brought the lawyer to the mansion so everyone would find out. Halise asks again, why? Elvan answers, I had been thinking about this for a while, but first I wanted to wait for Sancar to walk. Halise just wants to know why she’s getting the divorce.

Embajador S2 #33 part 5

Elvan shows her the papers, here…my marriage to Yahya Efeoglu is ending for irreconcilable reasons. And the reason is that there is no longer any ... love or respect. What are you talking about, Halise asks? Elvan explains, it means that I no longer love Yahya, and that's why I’m divorcing. Halise can’t believe this, will you get divorced just because you don't love him? [LOL] How can you do that? [just watch her} Elvan asks her, is there a more valid reason? Tell me if you know, she dares Halise, tell me an even better reason.

Halise tells Elvan to stop talking nonsense. She won’t give permission to divorce (?!) Elvan says she’s not asking for permission. By protocol or document, it says, I don't want anything else to do with you or with him. I will get a divorce even if he doesn't sign it, and Elvan walks away.

Elvan goes outside and cries. Nare is out there and tells Elvan they just arrived, but Sancar had to go. Elvan asks, and? what happened? Nare is all smiles, she flashes her ring and says, we're getting married! Elvan hugs her and says, how much pleasure this gives me, I'm happy for you. Congratulations. It gives me so much joy to hear that you are finally getting married to him. She hugs Nare again but doesn’t want to let go. Poor Elvan is happy for Nare and sad for herself.

Nare happily says, now we will finally be sisters-in-law. Elvan replies with no enthusiasm, yes, sisters-in-law and she cries. Nare picks up on it. Elvan? What is wrong with you? Elvan says nothing. She asks again. Why are you crying? What happened? Elvan says, let’s be friends, it’s better than sisters-in-law, wouldn't you like it more?
Nare asks why. Elvan finally tells her about the divorce. It’s allowed by law, and I am only exercising my right. We will no longer be family. Nare comforts Elvan.

Halise confronts Elvan. Elvan, I'm talking to you. She orders, I want you to come inside now. Elvan shakes her head no and is gripping Nare’s wrist. Halise repeats her order, I'm telling you to come in, let's talk right now. As if she is the injured party, Halise says, I also have a voice. How dare you bring a lawyer—Nare interrupts and says, this is not a good time. She takes Elvan away and they shut the mansion door in Halise’s face! [LOL]

Nare takes Elvan up to Grandpa’s room and locks the door. Halise is astounded by this defiance. She calls for Nare to open the door. She tells Elvan there will be no divorce. You will not leave this mansion until I'm dead. It will be over my dead body. [can be arranged] Halise walks away in frustration.

Embajador S2 #33 part 6

There’s an edit here. Sancar has come to the olive grove to get Kavruk. He’s on the phone with Feride again. She’s got her shovel ready to go and threatening again to throw the body in the river. He says he’s coming and talks her into waiting until the afternoon prayer is over.

Sancar finds Kavruk and lets him have it. First, I spit on your foolish pride because of which you don’t come to the house. I’m lame and you make me run after you! Second, I spit on your foolish pride again, because you don’t even use your telephone to call and I’m dying in pain. Third, he moves in close to Kavruk and whispers, Hala is going to dig up Akin’s corpse and throw it into the river. Kavruk asks why. Sancar says does there have to be a reason? That’s why they say she’s crazy.

Sancar tells Kavruk, hopefully we'll get there before she takes it out. Kavruk notices that there is a car following them. Sancar knows, they have been following him since he left the house. He hasn’t been able to lose them yet, but he can do it now. Kavruk asks who is following and Sancar thinks it’s either Gediz’ people or the police. Sancar manages to lose the tail.

Gediz gets a call, they’ve lost Sancar. He’s ticked. His guys must have given the last location because Gediz says he might have gone to see a friend and his aunt also lives near there, too. He tells his men to go to that area and see if there are any recent graves. Find it.

And we are out.

He (the jerk) is such a weasel! He has learned nothing! Telling Julieta he wants to rush his divorce while insisting to Alicia he is moving back in! Why would anyone with Julieta's youth, looks and (apparently) talent still want to be with that arrogant, old, selfish liar? Even if she really is in love with him ... Why? What's there to love?

I don't approve of disrespecting your elders, but really enjoyed how Miranda kicked Nosy Eva out of her room, with Eva threatening to send her away to boarding school. Lol

Too bad it wasn't Samuel ending up injured when he tried to force Fedora out of her car. He is one of the most despicable characters I've ever seen in my 28 years of viewing and I knew Gonzalo would be going after him. He's about to screw up his work as well.

I agree with all of Jarifa's questions. Fedora is not handling this situation with any intelligence. She needs to file harassment charges and get restraining orders, but I guess that the attitude of Mujica's lackey has eroded what trust she has.

Loved Miranda's Yentl moment! And she got the same reaction. It should occur to both male characters in these same situations that when you exclude women from anything there will be those who challenge this however they can. At least Yentl didn't have a Nicole ready to blow the whistle on her. This is going to be hell on earth.

I also cheered her for throwing Eva out of her room. Eva who has no authority to condemn her to boarding school.

If Juleech really wants SerJerk she's an idiot.
 

Spanprof, I agree that someone should get sued big time. Please tell me that Majo isn't really pregnant. The father would have to be Leonardo - EWWWW. It seems to me that Ricardo might do the right thing. Maybe it's because he really is sick, but he seems to possibly have a soft spot, unlike his ruthless sister Patricia. Maybe he can be redeemed and end up with Camila. They bonded as survivors. I don't know what's going on with Guillermo and Rosa Maria. She got to see that he's not always so nice and is a jerk to Helena.

Well, the beginning brought us smiles and hope ...Melek beaming as she held her little hand out to her dad beckoning him to walk to her..So heartwarming. Then , Nare in her beach boots and skintight orange slinky dress ( now there's some real incentive for San to walk) sees that beautiful horse and then beautiful, grinning San in his beach jeggings ....how does he get those on?


Why have the writers turned Gediz into a huge jerk ? Where is this story going? I shudder at the thought of Sahra and Ged tag teaming against San . ...then throw perpetually cranky Kman and dim Meanie into the mix and..uff.
 

TU AMOR. Ok, JoelD, the writers could be playing with us about Majo's pregnancy symptoms--and it would be creepy if the father is Leo. It would actually be nice if Ricardo recovered and ended up with Camila--after resolving all the legal and financial problems he's caused Val, of course.

SI NOS DEJAN #27 part 1

The fight is on and it is one of the best fights I have seen in telenovela land. Sergio insists he is not ready to lose his house or his family. He asks if a war is on, who does Alicia think is going to win? Sarcastically, she answers the “great don Sergio” of course. He agrees because, what is she really? She irons shirts and picks up around the house. He proclaims the argument over because he wants to bathe in his bathroom. Alicia says if he isn’t getting out right now then she will and she will take her kids with her.

Gonzo is saved by Susu from Samuel.

Sergio doesn't think the kids will want to leave their home to go with Alicia. Alicia agrees that her kids will not be leaving because the “SURPLUS” person in the house is HIM. They will not be living one more day together in this house. She loves herself enough not to let him hurt her. She only wants a divorce. He adds if she can pay for it. She asks him if this is his revenge. She isn't putting up with his with his two lives, his two houses anymore. Everyone is the house can hear them screaming amd is listening. Sergio admits it was a mistake and asks if she has never made one herself. She answers that the worst mistake she ever made was marrying him. Je insists he is staying. Why should he stay in a hotel when he paid for this house with the sweat of his brow? Alicia has the answer because he has TWO houses. Probably this one is much bigger and the bedroom much more pleasing. That being said, she orders him to leave and go sleep with Julieta. Sergio protests that his family lives here. Alicia reminds him there is no camera or his public here. The time has come to stop pretending. She asks him not to make her lose the last bit of respect she has for him. He accuses her of destroying the family. Alicia cannot take any more. All she is asking is that he not come back into the house like this. Alicia grabs a big black garbage bag and starts emptying his dresser drawers as he pleads with her not to. She wants nothing left of his so he has no excuse to come back. He can take them to the house of the future Mrs. Carranza . Alicia goes downstairs as the daughters follow them. Alicia states to her family that their father has demanded things of her that at point in her life she is not wiling to put up with. If he thinks he is coming home to live as if nothing happened, he is nuts! Alicia starts to stuff all of his awards in the garbage bag, too. When he complains how she is handling his photo of the queen, Alicia tells him to move it all out including his library. People can keep thinking what a decent man he is but she isn’t putting up with one more of his threats. He goes over to his daughters to try to comfort Miranda and to tell her that Alicia is just annoyed. Alicia corrects him: she is furious.

The daughters beg them to stop yelling as Eva and Fedora call each other gossips in the other room. Fedora is worried for
Alicia’s safety. Eva says no worries with Sergio. He isn’t a woman beater like the guys that Fedora knows. Eva points to Fedora’s bruised face. Eva thinks Fedora must have gotten it for being in unbearable. Fedora says there is never an excuse for violence. Eva surprisingly agrees with her.
 

DEJAN Part 2

Susu beings in Gonzo who staggers to the couch. Eva goes for help. Gonzo tells Fedora that he said he was going to let that guy know that she wasn’t all alone.

As Alicia fights Sergio for control of the garbage bag with the daughters right behind, they all see Gonzo in his pathetic state on the couch. The fight stops as Alicia and the others see what bad of a state he is in. Sergio asks why Gonzo was fighting. Gonzo asks since when did he matter to him. Gonzo tells him to stop yelling. Did he come over just to make his mother unhappy? Sergio asks if he was fighting over a woman or what. Alicia shuts Sergio up. The only important thing is to make sure Gonzo is okay. She adds that if Sergio wants her out of the house, he can deal with her in court. Miranda asks her father if he really wants her mother out of the house. Sergio starts backtracking and lying saying he only wants to be home with his family and her mother won’t let him. Alicia says of them has to go because she is sick of him playing the victim. Gonzo gets up and asks why he cannot respect their mother. Sergio steps forward. Yuri tries to keep them apart. Miranda stands and cries. Alicia asks if Sergio is planning on hitting Gonzo again. Can’t he see the condition he is in? Alicia asks that Sergio to do the least shameful thing and leave. He kisses his daughters goodbye and tells Gonzo he has loved him even before he was born. It is their mother who wants to divide the family. As Sergio goes to pick up his garbage bag, Eva offers to walk him out. He snaps back telling her that he knows how to leave the house all by himself.

Martín tells Diablo what Sergio said about making his job a living hell at the network. Diablo says Sergio is used to getting his own way but this time he will have to accept the decision from the president. Martín knows he won’t stop trying. Diablo hopes Martín doesn’t give anyone a reason to fire him. Diablo reminds him that going after his boss’ wife is a time bomb. Martín says a divorce is on the horizon and she will soon be his ex-wife. Diablo thinks he is crazy and Martín toasts to that.

Karina is having a beer at a nice bar and thinking about Martín. Mujica sees her there and brings some tequila for the both of them. He wants to chat not about work but about her personal life. He has been divorced for two years and is all alone . . . just like her.
 

DEJAN Part 3

Susu leaves. Alicia informs them all that Fedora is going to stay with them few days. Gonzo welcomes her. Fedora says her house if full of scorpions and she needs to get it fumigated. Gonzo asks why his father wants to throw his mother out of the house. Alicia says he didn’t take the news that she wants a divorce very well. Alicia warns her children that this isn’t going to be pleasant at all. Eva agrees with Alicia but insists she cannot put the kids against their father. Eva starts harping on how Alicia has to think of her family.

Sergio shows up with a bottle of champagne at Julieta’s. She makes it clear that some champagne doesn’t change a thing. She needs some concrete action on his part. He says he went ti see Alicia to tell her that the divorce was going ahead. Julieta doesn’t believe him. She thinks he went to beg Alicia to take him back. He denies it. She will believe him only when she sees a signed divorce decree. He calls his lawyer to ask him what is his first task tomorrow morning. Quijana says it is to file for divorce. Julieta asks Sergio to go get the other bottle of champagne from his car so they can chill it. It is going to be an historic night for them. She smirks.

After she leaves the bar, Karina stops by to see Martín. He asks if she has been drinking. She spills the beans on how she really feels about him. She always could see a future with him. He apologizes if he led her on. She says he never did. She was the stupid one who thought they could have some thing together. She asks who the other woman is. She must be younger, prettier, a journalist like he is. He makes the mistake in telling her that any man would want to have by his side. She says any man but not him. She had been warned that he was an expert on breaking hearts. He lies and tells her there is no other woman. Karina is not giving up on him. She loves him.

Fedora goes to check on Gonzo in his room. They hug. She tells Gonzo that Samuel is much more dangerous than he thinks. He could kill him so he needs to stay away from him. She explains that she is there at Alicia’s because she filed a complaint against Samuel and he is furious. He is happy Fedora is safe and near him. As they are standing too close together, Eva walks in without knocking. She asks if Fedora is a nurse or a substitute teacher. Fedora tells the Immaculate doña Eva she is always so nice and leaves Gonzo alone to face the interrogation.
 

DEJAN Part 4

Sergio has opened a bottle of champagne and is all over Julieta who suddenly seems to be back in a bad mood. She tells him he will not be touching her again until she can be sure that he is not making a fool out of her. He has been thinking and she can do the editorial in the morning broadcast. She isn’t sure since her future is so insecure at the network. He tries to assure her that being with him, she has no worries. She doesn’t know if she can trust him and he can close the door on his way out.

Alicia gets a call from Martín. She is so happy to hear from him after what she has been through. Sergio is fighting her about the divorce and they had a terrible fight in front of the kids. She is afraid of what is going to happen. Sergio is a cruel enemy. Just hearing Martín’s voice calms her down. They agree to meet for dinner tomorrow.

At Alicia's the next morning, Gonzo leaves the breakfast table early. Miranda wants to know why since he isn’t going to school. He says he is looking for work. Fedora remembers him telling her he already had a job. Yuri wonders who Gonzo fought with. Eva says that is the big question. father were still in the house, he would have found out. Alicia tells her enough already. It is time to take Miranda to school and then to see her lawyer. Yuri asks if she is still going to go through with the divorce. Alicia says of course.

Fabián checks with Sergio make sure he is going to show up for his show. Fabián finds sour milk in his coffee and confronts Rebeca about it. See explodes saying he should get his own maid to handle things for him. He thinks she should see a doctor. She is being strange. She has a problem with that and leaves.

Nicole harasses MIranda “the strange one” calling her a freak. Now the harassment has a sexual tone to it. When Miranda has enough, she turns and hits her in the face, Culebra watches looking concerned. Nicole is concerned with how she looks. Miranda goes off and sits alone and rocks repeating “freak”. Ariana tries to help but Miranda tells her to get away from her.
 

DEJAN Part 5

Yuri is at work with Moisés and the other lawyers. She is so preoccupied with thinking about Cholo that she doesn’t know what is going on, is not prepared and has nothing to add. Moisés is not pleased with her lack of commitment to her job.

Cholo tells the guys at the prison that Yuri isn’t going to be causing them any more problems. They are believing him today but if she goes nosing around again, they both will be goners.

Alicia meets with Fedora’s lawyer who assures her the divorce could be done quickly. Both parties do not have to agree to the divorce. It could be done in two weeks. The people have to be physically separated. If Sergio tries to stay in the house or gives them any problems, they could go public which could affect his image which he wouldn’t like. Afterwards, they can get into spousal/
familial support, the division of property, etc.Alicia is ready for the process to start.

Yuri hears the lawyers talking about Cholo. She asks what is going on with him. Moisés is not pleased. She suggests that Jorge his new lawyer might want to go see Cholo. Moisés says Jorge doesn’t need advice from a beginner like her who doesn’t even bother to look at her own files. Yuri agrees, excuses herself and leaves.

As Culebra checks the damage does to Nicole’s eyebrow, he asks Nicole why she had to bait Miranda anyway. Nicole says it is just her style! Now she is going to report her to the administration. Culebra tries to get her to come back, but she won’t. Miranda and Culebra see each other in the hallway but he won’t approach her. She turns and gore in the opposite direction.

Susu calls Gonzo on his involvement with Fedora saying he is about to make a huge mistake. Lorena hears about the mistake part and wants to know what is going on.

Alicia meets Martín at a café. She has good news. The divorce may happen sooner than she thought. Martín gets a phone call from Diablo. They need a file of his. It is at home. Martín is told to go home and send them the file. Alicia will go with him and then they can go to the restaurant.

Facundo is looking over the files that Karina got for him. He asks Maruja not to say anything to anybody about it so Karina has no problems. Facundo hasn’t found any clues yet.

At work, Mujica mentions to Karina how good those beers were last night and even gets her some water from the cooler. A couple of officers are bringing in a kid (Quique) who they just caught trying to sell the computer from the psychologist’s house. As Karina watches on, they take him to be questioned.

Lorena is asking Gonzo how he ended up getting beat up like he did. Gonzo says somebody attacked him and tried ro steal his car.
She isn’t a fool and isn’t buying his story. She wants to know what Susu was referring to when he said Gonzo was making a huge mistake.


 

DEJAN Part 6

Fabián isn’t pleased with the change to Sergio’s program that Sergio decided to make with Julieta. They start to argue about Martín when Diablo comes in. Are they going on without Julieta or what? Sergio asks what does he think. As Diablo presents an emergency plan, Julieta has returned with conditions if they want to meet them. Sergio says she candi the editorial tonight. Julieta says that is what he promised her. Besides that, she wants a five year contract with a raise. If the answer is no, she will leave the way she came.

Moisés brings Yuri a cup of coffee as a peace offering for having yelled at her im front of the others. She has to understand. It just wasn't that she arrived late but she had done nothing with the material he had given her. He cannot accept that kind of behavior at their practice. He knows they are getting married . . . She tells him not to worry, she gets it. He wants to go out to eat. He goes to massage her neck but she removes his hands. She tells him that she needs to talk to him. She is the problem. It is a out the wedding.

Alicia gets to meet Nelson. She thinks he is beautiful. He apologizes for the condition of his place. She thinks it is fine as it is. He has a book he kept for her by Vicente Leñero. He was a journalist before he became a playwright. His work is dramatized journalism. He likes it because it s a mixture of both of their passions. He brings up that she has come to his home now , gotten to see the chaos he lives in and they are still calling each other “usted”. That bothers him. He thinks they must have gotten past their probation period by now, so they can call each other “tú”, right? She agrees and they shake on it. He is now ready for the next step. She asks what next step? The next step is to make her fall in love with him. He tells her she better believe that he is going to succeed. Alicia smiles.

Somehow I still don’t see the divorce taking only two weeks. I am still going to be waiting for Fedora and goo goo boy Gonzo to get caught. I am sure Eva suspects something.

Good stuff.

Narcissists are experts at self-delusion. It is blowing my mind how SerJerk can fool himself into believing that he can still get Alicia back after all these insults. How can he not know that a woman will feel devalued if she is told they are only suitable for ironing his shirts? He is behaving as tough Alicia is his mother rather than his wife. Alicia is sick of being a Stepford wife.

And how can her daughters not be taking her side?

I wanted to slap Eva for also not giving a crap about Alicia's feelings and dignity. "Think of your family" might have been understandable if her kids were kids, but they're grown up. They need to deal with it.

I'm still not getting why Juleech is still trying to bag him. If she is smart enough to do this work she should be smart enough to recognize that she could suffer Alicia's fate in a few years.

I love how Nelson approves of Alicia.

Consuelo's slap hurts Leonardo but her words hurt even more. Don't talk to me like that, she tells him. I'm your mother. And yes, I sell at a market. It's an honor because that's how I could give you your education. Val steps in to defend Connie. No, Leonardo is right, Connie says. I don't know what I was thinking. What does a tianguis (market) merchant with no class have to do with such a distinguished señora as educated as Yolanda? Perdón, she tells Leo disappointedly. Leonardo apologizes to Valentina with teary eyes, but tells her not to get involved in his family relations again.

Patricia overhears Ricardo telling Adelaida about some problem in the yard. What problem do you have?, Pat asks, and don't tell me your health status. I don't have to tell you my problems, he says. Calm down kids, says Adelaida. OK, says Pat, but it would be nice if Ricardo would tell us if the problem he's referring to has to do with the money he spoke so mysteriously about in the morning. Ricardo says the airline doesn't want to pay him the money they owe. Airline money?, asks Nora joining them. How did you do it? Valentina signed a paper and they didn't give us anything. And why do you want anything if Juan isn't your father?, asks Patricia. They never gave me anything for Alfonso. They refused to pay me money for my own death, Ricardo says, so my lawyer is working to solve everything. And how did you find out I was talking about money?, he asks Patricia. Nothing is private in this house with more and more people arriving. No offense Nora. I'm not offended, Nora says, I'm the owner. It was Patricia's spy Lucha. She listens to everyone's conversations and tells Patricia everything later. No, Pat tells Ricardo. You were sleeping on the sofa and you talk in your sleep. I don't talk in my sleep, says Ricardo, and you said I was talking about money on the phone.

Helena asks Majo if she's OK when she comes out of the bathroom. No, says Majo, I threw up and feel like... Majo faints. Valentina and Helena help her to a chair. The EMT arrives and tells her that she needs an ultrasound to determine the status of the baby. What baby?, asks Majo. She flashes back to her and Leonardo getting dressed after an inappropriate tryst at work. The EMT says fainting at this stage of a pregnancy is uncommon and Majo should see a doctor.

Leonardo calls Yolanda and says his mother referred to her as if she knew her. That servant?, Yolanda says. How would I know her for God's sake. I come from a different postal code. So why did she refer to you that way?, Leo asks. I don't know, Yolanda says, maybe she cleaned my house at some point. That should be the last time you refer to my mother as if she were a servant. She's no servant. Are you sure?, Yolanda asks, because as far as I know she lives in a house like a servant would live in. Oh Consuelo, she says after hanging up, if you knew what I have prepared for you, you would die.

Enrique blames the cleaning crew for trying to break into Guillermo's computer. Well, fire them all and install security cameras, says Guillermo. Make sure they don't have access to other computers, Enrique orders Humberto. Enrique calls Cibernético who says he can install security cameras but he needs his friend to get out of jail. Cibernético says they can control the cameras remotely and can turn them off when they want. He only needs Enrique's guarantee to help get his friend and his boss out of jail. You said it was only your friend, says Enrique. I'm keeping a recording of the conversation we just had, Ciber threatens. If you don't comply It will be all over the internet.

Rosa Maria enters her office and finds it filled with bouquets of flowers. A note says "To make up for all the flowers they didn't give you, Guillermo" (She had told him that no one ever gave her flowers since she was a child) She gets a call from Guillermo who says she deserves them and more. She starts to cry and tells Samara that she's a bad person. She lied to help Ricardo get back Valentina. She wanted to steal her novio. I wanted to destroy her happiness so that I could be happy, RM says. You're not a bad person, says Samara, sometimes we do crazy things for love. You deserve these flowers and a man that appreciates you.

Nora calls Yolanda to tell her that Guillermo doesn't want her to be a model and won't let her go. Don't worry, Yolanda says, you can come by and we'll find a way to convince him afterwards. When you have big goals you have to take big risks Nora. But you can count on my help to become an international top model. Yolanda ends the call and receives another from Bernard. He says he's a little afraid because Helena's lawyer is coming to Monterrey tomorrow. They're sending you Valentina and Helena's heads on a platter, Yolanda says. I'll tell you what you are going to do.

Luna pours out her heart to Hector. She's always been in love with him. He says he never realized it and only considered her a friend. He feels terrible and tries to comfort her with a hug.

Claudio and Valentina are trying to guess Majo's novio and he relates his dream of opening his own law office when Valentina gets a call from Yolanda. Val puts the phone on speaker. I need to talk to you, says Yolanda. I wanted to explain that I had nothing to do with the video of your theft of the gold buttons. It was a hacker that got into my computer. Of course, Val says, very convenient. What are you trying to say?, Yolanda asks. That I'm a liar? I'm not trying to say anything, Val says, I'm affirming that you're a liar. You know I didn't steal anything and that it was a setup you did with Beba so you could fire me and later steal my designs because you are a thief. Those are very serious accusations Valentina but you know what? I wish you the best. I hope the misunderstanding is cleared up concerning Helena and "the branded one". Her name is Camila, says Val. Well, another one who is marked and behaves like a thief is you, says Yolanda.

Majo takes a pregnancy test and it comes out positive. Is Leonardo the father?, Helena asks. I don't know who the father is, Majo replies. I was using artificial insemination. I didn't tell you because it didn't seem to be working. Majo promises to see a doctor. Leonardo comes in with some bad news. UDB and Blue Deep just cancelled their contracts. Those are the most important contracts we have, says Helena.

I know perfectly well that you were behind everything that happened in Madrid, Val tells Yolanda. You're not even creative because it was just like what you did to me with the buttons. I am amused that you think I'm capable of doing all that, says Yolanda. I'm not finished, says Val. The note, the video, Helena's distributers. But we're not going to resolve this over the telephone. It's going to be resolved in court. We beat you once on the catwalks and we're going to do it again. Valentina, think hard before declaring war on me, Yolanda warns. You did that the first day I came to work for you, Val responds. Adiós.
 

TU AMOR ep 55 part 3

Camila goes to the orphanage and tells mother Aurora that she thinks God is punishing her. He's not punishing you, Aurota says. He saved you and Ricardo for a reason. The two of you have a special connection.

Yolanda tells Beba that Valentina declared a war that she is going to lose. Call the owners of UDB and Blue Deep, she says. Offer them my line at a special price. But it's not because they have such good shops. They have to stop buying from Helena. It will be a hard blow for Helena and her insignificant ranch seamstress.

Hector comes to Helena's office to lend his support. Leonardo listens outside as Helena fills him in. Money is running out and she doesn't want to have to let people go. There is some good news though, Helena says. Majo is pregnant. She says it was artificial insemination but I have the feeling that Leonardo is the father. If it is, and he didn't take responsibility I would ask for his resignation.

Claudio talks to Valentina about their plans for the future. What does she think about moving away after they're married? And leave everyone and evrything behind? No, Val says. I can't leave Helena, my sister, ... Oh, you could do it for Ricardo but not for me, he blurts. Val starts to leave in frustration. Do you want to go get something to eat?, he asks her. I'm not hungry, Val replies.

Leonardo drags Majo into his office. You're hurting me, she says. Why did you tell Helena that we slept together, he asks. I told you not to say anything. I didn't know I was pregnant, says Majo. How could you not know with a baby moving around inside?, he asks. Not at 5 weeks genious, she says. You can still abort it, Leo says. Are you sick in the head? I'm not going to abort it. I'm not going to be responsible for a kid, says Leo. No one is asking, Majo retorts. In fact, I don't want him to know his miserable father. What did you say to me?, he asks, pulling back his hand to slap her. Go ahead. Hit me, she taunts. I would love for Helena and Hector to find out. No one believes your story of artificial insemination. You should have said it was a guy in a bar. I'd never do that, Majo tells him. I'm not like that. You seemed pretty easy when you did it with me. She slaps him and says it was the worst day of her life. One way or another, you're going to lose that baby, he says, after she slams the door behind her.

Guillermo calls Rosa Maria to invite her to dinner with the family. I'd love to go, she says, thanks. I'll have Arcadio pick you up at 7:30, says Guillermo.

Hector calls Patricia because he's put together the money for his bail from the other day. You know, the incident at the bar. He wanted to leave the money but he didn't know who to leave it with. She doesn't want his money. She wants him to pay her back with work. She wants him at her house at 8:00. She has a commitment and needs his help. He hangs up and Helena calls. She invites him to dinner at her house at 8:30 to celbrate Majo having a child. He says he has a work commitment but could bring something by in the morning. OK, she says. We'll leave it for tomorrow. Good luck with your work.
 

TU AMOR ep 55 part 4

Helena sees Valentina looking through some wedding gowns. Helena tells Val that she can have one for her civil wedding and they'll design one together for the church wedding. Val says she's sorry for everything that Helena is suffering through. I've gotten out of worse situations, Helena says. Yolanda is using all her weapons against me but we'll get through it. Helena, Valentina says, taking her hands, losing those two contracts was my fault. Qué?, says Helena.

Yuri especially should be on her mother's side, but I guess she never handled a divorce case. I hope the lawyer Fedora found can do what's necessary. If SerJerk follows through on his threats that should hurt his ratings and professional credibility.

Mujica is making me lose my appetite while Culebra looks like a total fool for getting involved with nasty Nicole.

TU AMOR. Thank you for the wonderful recap, JoelD! This time it was a lifesaver because Tuesday is my zumba night and today I was only able to get the last third of the episode online. Univision was blocking everything else. I though Episode 55 had aired both here and in Mexico and should have been available. What is Claudio thinking, asking Val to leave her job and relocate to another city? Especially during Helena's professional crisis. Poor Claudio, well-intentioned but so tactless! It looks as if Majo's fainting might be a foreshadowing of either a difficult pregnancy or of her losing the baby. And Yolanda is ever more evil. Now she is trying to destroy Consuelo. Let's hope she goes so far that she does herself in. I wonder if Guillermo will survive. And I am glad that Rosa Maria has repented of her treatment of Val. Is Camila' conversation with Mother Aurora foreshadowing that she and Ricardo will end up together?

SpannProf, glad I could help out. I agree that Claudio shouldn't be asking Val to move. He doesn't seem like he would want to move even if she said yes. It all seemed to be about his jealousy of Ricardo. I thought you were probably going to be right about Majo being pregnant and you were. I just don't like that Leonardo is the father. Rosa Maria and Ricardo are evolving as characters. Either one seems like they could become good or revert to their evil ways. Camila deserves a happy ending and she has her heart set on Ricardo. He did save her life at the crash sight. Who knows?

Nare asks Elvan if they will continue to sit in silence. Elvan is hesitant to share her problems because this is a special day for Nare. Nevertheless, Nare wants to know... what did Yayha do? You need to talk to someone, she says, you need to vent. Last Nare knew Elvan had forgiven Yahya. What happened?

Elvan says, he didn't forgive me this time, but I didn't forgive him either. How? Elvan relates, I stood in front of him and said, forgive me, but I no longer love you. You are not enough for me. I want someone who makes me feel butterflies in the stomach. I told him I didn't feel anything for him. Nare asks why she said that.

Elvan tells Nare she didn’t want to show it hurt. The only thing left that I didn’t want him to take away was…my pride. Nare wipes Elvan’s tears and asks, what did Yahya do to you? Elvan replies, he cheated on me…. with Dudu. Nare is surprised, the Dudu we know? Elvan cries, that Dudu.

Elvan says when she found out, she wanted to teach them both a lesson. Then I remembered, she says, Elvan's an orphan, nobody wanted her. Her mother stopped loving her, her father stopped loving her. Elvan adds, but I'm afraid, Nare. Because of the divorce? Elvan says no, no matter what my mother-in-law says, I'm leaving this mansion. I'm not afraid of her. But I've always run from what I really fear. Elvan cries, I will not be able to escape from loneliness, and I will have to face it. I have to accept I am an orphan and I am afraid of that. Nare tells Elvan, it's time to go. Elvan asks, where are we going? Nare tells her, we will go together to face your great fear.

Sahra is looking in the restroom mirror, Gediz voice is echoing in her head, my condolences, doctor, your brother went to hell. She calms herself and heads out to the table where Gediz is sitting. She asks him, how did you get my brother's phone? Gediz replies, sorry, but I can't tell you. If you knew, you would be upset, and we couldn't continue being friends. Gediz asks if she was crying for Akin. Sahra says she’s okay now. Gediz is sorry he can’t share her pain because Akin was a psychopath. Sahra reminds him that psychopaths are usually someone's siblings. Gediz asks her, so you loved your brother? Sahra says he was the only family I had ... and now he's dead, too. No relatives, Gediz asks? No one, Sahra replies, my mother died a long time ago, she took her life and I never met my father.

Gediz thinks she’s giving him a line of BS. He laughs, I believed you, you're good. And the Oscar goes to doctor Sahra Yalcin. Did you trick Nare with the story of the orphan girl? Sahra says no, my mother did commit suicide and I was a girl when it happened. My father died before I was born. Gediz says, and now you're a psycho because of that?

Sahra says, I am not a psychopath. Okay, I just pretended to be friends with Nare because I wanted to find out what Sancar did to my brother. She leans in and asks Gediz, what's your story? Gediz replies, I want Sancar to end up in prison. But there is no crime without a body, so I must find it as soon as possible.

But you don't know where they buried him, Sahra figures, that's why you want me to help you find out. You want me to be a spy, right? Gediz says that would be very useful and asks her, did you already know who I was? Sahra tells him she heard his name but she thought that he was friends with Sancar. You became enemies because of Nare, right?

Gediz asks if Kahraman told her this. He knows she visited him at the hospital. Or was it Menekse? Maybe she told you while she is using Kahraman’s son to keep Sancar. And you are staying at Menekse’s house? He does a thumb’s down and says, what a horror. If Sancar finds out, what will you do?

Sahra asks, how do you know that I’m staying with Menekse? She figures he read the messages, but did he have someone following her? Of course he did. Gediz is anxious to make a deal, so do you agree we send Sancar to prison? Sahra agrees and Gediz sets some conditions. We will do it without killing him and neither Melek or Nare will get hurt.

Sahra sighs, why should I accept your terms? Maybe so I don't talk about Menekse’s fake pregnancy, he replies. Sahra says that isn’t so important to her, she was only helping because she promised her brother. But, she adds, I think I like Ceylan. Gediz thinks that’s strange and asks why. Sahra says she’s alone, just like her. She was abandoned during her pregnancy just like her mom. The difference is that she won’t leave her child alone. She will try to give it a good life. And she’s always smiling.

Atike is helping Meanie try on a fake pregnancy belly that looks about 7 months. Ceylan is watching. Ceylan gasps, she felt the baby move! Meanie rushes over and gushes, oh baby ... are you kicking for me? Did you feel I am here? Ceylan needs to go out for some air [me, too].

Gediz names his conditions again, Sancar will go to prison and neither Nare nor Melek will get hurt. Do I have your word? Sahra answers, you will have to give me a good reason to promise something like that. Something that interests me, an honest reason. She adds, this is the first time that I am honest with someone I don’t know. You will have to be honest, too.

Gediz still doesn’t believe she’s being honest with him. She wants him to think about it. Wouldn't it be nice to have someone that you can tell how you really feel? Someone who does not judge you, someone who listens to you? Gediz calls her Satan. Sahra smiles and says, then, sell me your soul. [hmm…some evil flirting going on here.]

Gediz tells her, I will bankrupt Sadiclar. They will lose everything they have including the mansion. That's why I'd like to find the body first. Sancar will go to jail, and will find out when he’s there ... when he can't do anything but just watch. He will go crazy. He will not be able to protect Nare or his daughter. Then he will beg for my help. Isn't that worse than dying?

Sahra answers, yes, and I see that you are also bad. Gediz adds, while I continue to sink his company, you have to remain friends with Nare. Find out where the body is. Sahra agrees.

Kman’s spying thug calls him and reports that Gediz and Sahra are having breakfast. Kman shares this news with Guven. I told you so, Kman says, I told you he would also look for the grave.

Sancar and Kavruk walk up to Feride’s door. Kavruk is ready to knock but Sancar pulls him back. Don't knock like that. Kavruk isn’t worried. Sancar is still trying to reason with his hala, listen to me, what am I going to do with a corpse? Feride answers, bury him in your mother's yard, so that the ghost chases her ... because she deserves it more. She adds, what time do you want me to throw that body into the river? Sancar realizes Feride is serious and he grabs a shovel…

Then Sancar sees a car drive up in the distance and drops it. He tells Feride, do you really want me to dig up the body. He calls Feride over. If I take that body out now, I promise you the three of us will go to prison. Look over there. Do you see them?

Sancar tells Feride, you can't stay here. He asks Kavruk, help Feride with her things. He tells her, you will come to the mansion with us. Feride objects. I am not going to the mansion with that damn woman. Sancar says oh yes you will. And it goes back and forth. Sancar warns her she could go to prison and Feride answers she would prefer that to going to the mansion.

Then Sancar gives her an even worse choice. You can go with my mother or you can go with Kavruk’s grandfather. Feride says, I hope never to see that man again. What does he have to do with this? Sancar tells her it’s because he will be released from prison soon. Sancar is fibbing because Kavruk is surprised---is that so, he asks? Sancar shoots him a look and says, yes, that's right, and very soon.

Kavruk suddenly remembers, yes in two or three days. Sancar adds, he told me ... that he is going to come, and sleep outside your door. And he will wait until you finally forgive him. Feride is upset. Sancar continues and he also told me that ... he is going to seduce you. Kavruk is surprised again—is he going to seduce her? Then he quickly gets back on track and tells Feride, yeah, it's true, he can’t wait to get out. Feride sighs and says, that's worse than the mansion. Looks like Feride is going to the mansion!

Halise tries to go upstairs to Grandpa’s room but Melek blocks her way. Mother’s orders. Halise says her mother is a brave and good person but also stubborn and Melek is becoming like her. Halise walks away frustrated. Zehra gives Melek a fist bump.

Halise goes outside and yells up to the window for Nare and Elvan to come down. Gulsiye and Ayse are outside. Gulsiye thinks Halise should leave Elvan alone. I will never leave her alone, Halise replies, when I left Yahya alone, he had a relationship with another woman. She looks over a Zehra and says, and when I left this one, what did she do? Do I have to remind you what she did at the wedding? And when I left Elvan alone she decides not to love her husband. So from now on, I will not leave anyone alone again!

Halise is interrupted by Feride announcing--I'm here! Who is that? Halise is in shock. Gulsiye thinks it sounded like their aunt. The ladies go to see. Halise the cow moos.
Feride snarks, did you miss me even a little bit? Because I did not miss you one second. Halise sighs a grudging, welcome, sister. [she addresses her as “abla”, older sister.] Feride answers, I would like to say that I am glad to come (but she can’t). Halise the cow moos again.

Zehra kisses Feride’s hand and says, welcome. How is it going? Feride replies, not so good. Zehra tells her it’s a surprise to have you here. Feride responds, the truth is, I'd rather die than see your mother but they managed to convince me. Look at Sancar and Kavruk trying to avoid the gazes. Halise just stands there with her mouth open.

Sancar tries to get everyone inside. Halise is pissed at him, how dare you bring her to my door? Sancar says he had to do it. Halise adds, did you have to bring Kavruk here too? Feride asks Kavruk, take Halise to the stable now. Halise turns around and says, what?! Feride tells Halise, I’m talking about the cow, that’s her name, but if you want to sleep in the stable ... I love the look on Feride’s face and the others try not to laugh. Kavruk takes Halise the cow and walks past Zehra without a word.

Sancar is left outside with Halise and Zehra. Zehra asks why did you have to bring her here? Halise answers, because my son wants to kill me. We don't have enough problems so he brings them to my door. Sancar tells them to go inside and he’s going to help Kavruk.

Feride enters the mansion and meets Melek. Feride asks, you are Melek, right? Melek nods. Feride smiles, Kavruk told me you looked like me. I'm your great-aunt [büyük hala]. Melek welcomes her and kisses her hand. Feride says, mashallah, mashallah. There’s an immediate connection there. Halise quickly ushers everyone downstairs.

To Halise’s further upset, Melek and Feride hug and sit close together on the couch. Melek asks Zehra, where is my dad? At the stable. Melek gives Feride a kiss then leaves. Is Halise jealous?

Halise addresses Feride, normally it would be an inappropriate question, but you are family. Are you just visiting or are you staying? Zehra gasps, her mother shouldn’t have said this. Halise says she needs to know so she can prepare. Feride tells Gulsiye, she wants the biggest room with the best view. Her things are in that useless Sancar’s car and if you see Kavruk, tell him I'm waiting for him.

Halise declares, Kavruk has no right to enter here. Feride shuts her down and pulls rank, why are you talking when I am talking? From now on, I will be the one who gives the orders and everything will be as l say, do you hear? Halise is pissed but says nothing. [this is sweeeet!]

Melek comes to the stable. She has a secret for her dad. She says that Kavruk can stay to hear. Everyone knows this except her grandmother. Mom and Elvan went to our old house. Mom wants you to take me there. Sancar asks why but Melek doesn’t know. Her mom will tell him when they get there. She adds, mom told me you were going to tell me how you proposed to her. She showed me the ring but said you would tell me together.

Sancar takes her hand and they start to go. Sancar turns to Kavruk and tells him [Turkish] do not go anywhere. I entrust the mansion to you.

Melek is anxious to find out about the proposal, can't you tell me a little now? What did you say to mom and what did she answer? Sancar won’t do it. We both have to tell you.
Melek complains, but you always do everything my mom says to do. Sancar that's true. [Turkish] I am in the henpecked village now. Melek asks is that like Cennetkoy [their beach, paradise village]? Too cute, Sancar says he’s going to eat her up. He gives her lots of kisses.

Nare and Elvan arrive at the house. Yahya’s car is there. Nare tells Elvan she can wait in the car. Elvan answers, I already saw him with Dudu. I can face him. But then she thinks what if Dudu is here, too? Nare tells her, you talk to Yahya and I’ll talk to Dudu. Okay?

Yahya comes out of the house. Elvan smiles and greets him. It’s kinda awkward. He asks, what are you doing here? Elvan offers an apology for surprising him like this. She explains, Nare and Sancar got engaged and it is not appropriate that they stay in the same house until they get married. You and I are getting divorced, so it's not appropriate for me to stay at the mansion. Nare and I are going to stay here.

Yahya tells Elvan he’s not going to divorce her. Elvan asks, will you force me to be with you? yes, if I have to, he replies, you won't have a life without me. Elvan says, but Yahya ... if you had wanted me to love you, you would have tried every day for five years. He leaves.

Elvan goes to the bedroom where Yahya stayed. She stares at the bed. [so, we have another cursed bed.] Elvan says, it happened in this bed, right? It was right here, she cries. She grabs the sheets and blanket and throws them down in the yard. She gets matches from the house and sets fire to the bedding. She sobs and Nare comforts her.

Wow, it’s nighttime and Gediz is still with Sahra. He tells her you have to move out of Menekse’s house. I'll find you a place. Sahra says, oh, you will find me a home, you bring me to restaurants, you tell me your life, thanks, compañero. Gediz tells her not to say that. It won’t suit you to be my partner. They haven't done well lately.

Sahra says he can’t intimidate her, it would take more than this. Gediz responds, if you weren't a psycho like your brother, I would like you. Sahra says, I am not interested in someone who loves another woman, sorry. Gediz begs to differ, you look like someone who only loves men who love someone else. If I didn't know you, I'd say you pick them like that just for fun. Isn’t that so? Do you make them cry? Sahra replies, only those who have a father. [This is all very flirty. Will she make him forget about Nare?]


Gediz gets a call from Guven. Sahra asks, Nare’s father is calling? He warns Sahra not to harm Nare because it is like she doesn’t have a father. He steps away to take the call.
Guven asks if there is there news on the body. No. Guven is impatient, many months have passed. You were supposed to find that body and fix the inheritance issue. Gediz reminds him he doesn’t care about the inheritance. Sahra interrupts Gediz and asks, what is Nare’s favorite food? Oranges, why? Sahra cryptically says, if we are going to be friends, I should know. Sahra leaves. Gediz hangs up on Guven.

Kman asks, what did he say to you? Guven says not to worry. Kman hopes Gediz didn’t say no to the inheritance. Guven asks, what are you talking about? Kman explains that Gediz is trying to sink Sancar. Why would he want Nare to have an inheritance and save the man she loves?

Guven says, Nare already has money, why would an inheritance matter? Kman calls one of his men and orders him to have someone to follow Sahra. I want to know where she’s staying and who she’s with. I want to know everything about her.

Kman gives Guven orders, too. I want you to be very attentive with Refika. You're going to have to become much closer to Gediz. We have to control him. Guven says, I'll get a lot closer when I'm his stepfather. I'll take care of it. Kman tells him to hurry it up.
Guven thinks he’s being funny and tells Kman, or you can marry his sister. You are not even able to go to the port because of her. Kman looks daggers at Guven and says, I like money and power and even if they told me I could take over the world, I would not be with her. Guven gulps.

Muge is bringing Refika up to date. She tells her Sancar can walk now. Refika is happy to hear it. They don’t notice that Gediz has entered the house. And there is something else, Muge says, Sancar ... has proposed to Nare. Gediz is frozen. Refika asks, are they getting married? Muge says Nare already accepted. Refika worries, how do you think Gediz will take this? Muge sighs. They turn to see Gediz standing there. He wipes a tear and leaves the house. Muge follows but Gediz quickly gets in his car and takes off.

Gediz drives to his place. He stands on the wall and screams out onto the water, noooo! And then he sits and cries.

And we are out!

Poor Gediz. He is not as smart as he thinks he is. I blame him for Guven targeting his mom.

I need Elvan to get her groove back. But I do get a kick out of her sticking it to Yahya where it hurts.

Hmmm, will Sahra fall for Gediz? Will anyone notice how inappropriate she dresses for work? Maybe everybody thinks it a city girl thing, like Nare wearing boots to the beach.

There are so many baddies focused on poor San ....Gediz, his former best friend, Guven, his despicable father in law, Meanie, his awful exwife, Kman , and now out of the blue Dr. Sarha.

I like Feride's beanie...very fancy, and it has a strap. We all need one of thoses babies. Melek was very sweet with her , and human Halise did not like that at all. She seems to be the one person who can put haughty , controlling Halise in her place.

Nina, I did not miss Gediz at the end and I really enjoyed it! I would have felt sorry for him if he didn’t cross that line a long time ago. That jackass was still thinking that he had a chance with Nare if only he could get Sancar out of the way.

Niecie you are so right, Gediz is not as smart as he thinks. He’s nothing without Sancar. Dr. Turgut took note of how Sahra was dressed, but I think he liked it. I think us patio peeps are the only ones who think it is inappropriate.

Feride Efe is Halise’s SIL. She is older and Halise calls her “abla”, the respectful title for an older sister. Everyone else calls her “hala”, aunt on the father’s side. She pulled rank on Halise and there’s not much Halise can do about it. There’s some kind of history between Feride and Kavruk’s grandpa but I don’t remember if they ever specified.

Yep, Feride’s got some interesting headgear.

It’s unfortunate that Uni chopped the scene where Sancar and Kavruk went to her house. What was missing was quite funny:

Sancar and Kavruk told her she had agreed to bury the body on her property. She claimed she didn’t remember and that Kavruk must have tricked her by saying Melek looked like her. He made her feel bad that Melek would grow up without a father. Sancar gave Kavruk such a look—a smile that said I’d really like to hit you. Kavruk looked a bit sheepish.

Then she told Sancar about her dream. Sancar said so what, it was about Gediz’ betrayal. She told him she saw the headstone with his name and the standard inscription, “Ruhuna Fatiha”—pray the Fatiha for his soul. Feride and Kavruk start praying immediately. Feride tells Sancar to pray, too. He thinks they are crazy that he should pray for his own soul because of a dream. Kavruk nods at Sancar and the three pray.

Kavruk backs up the validity of Feride’s dream. When someone is in the grave, he tells Sancar, it means they will go to prison. In this world, the grave is prison.

TU AMOR ep 56 part 1

Helena is talking to Valentina in her work room. Val confesses to calling Yolanda a liar and telling her they'll resolve things in court. She is sure it's her fault that Helena lost the contracts. Helena tells Val that she understands and knows she had no bad intentions. She says they're a family and they'll get through it.

Guillermo told Lizia, the secretary, not to leave his office while the security cameras are installed. Enrique brings her some tea and warns her that it's boiling hot. When she's not looking he "accidentally" spills some tea onto her lap. Lizia jumps up and runs to the bathroom. Cibernético uses the opportunity to insert something into the back of the computer and to type some commands on the keyboard.

Hector is at Consuelo's getting ready to go on a night run. Don't tell me Patricia called you again, Connie says. Hector says he needs the money for Mina. He asks her what's wrong. He knows it's something more than just what happened to Camila. Horacio wants to know what's going on too. She says she wanted to confront Yolanda about Camila, Valentina, and Helena. She ran into Leonardo. What did he do now?, Hector asks. He didn't do anything, Connie says. For the first time I realized that my son isn't what I thought. Hector holds her as she breaks down in tears.

Leonardo is in his office looking up abortion methods on his computer. Helena comes in to ask him a question and says she wants the truth from him. Is Majo's baby his? Everyone knew that Majo was in love with me, Leonardo responds. So that's why it was so easy for you to sleep with her?, asks Helena. No, no, no, he says. I'm a gentleman and I respect women. Because you asked, I'll tell you. We did spend one night together. I can assure you that we were careful. She looks him in the eye and says, If I find out that the baby is yours, and you aren't taking responsibility, I will have no consideration for you. I'm telling you what will happen if you dare to lie. The baby isn't mine, Leo says, and I know because I went with Majo myself, when the artificial insemination was done.

Guillermo enters the dining room of his home and tells Adelaida that everything looks perfect. She says he seems excited and he admits that Rosa Maria makes him feel a way he hasn't felt for a long time. She sends the servants away so they can talk. She tells him that RM is his doctor and she's too young for him. He laughs and says the sea is old and it still moves. Patricia asks what they are celebrating. It's a thank-you dinner for Rosa Maria. Enrique arrives with the details of the camera install. It becomes awkward when Hector shows up in his work clothes. Nora takes his arm and says, Look dad, it's Hector, Helena's novio. Is Helena coming?, asks Guillermo. No, says Pat, I invited Hector.

 

TU AMOR ep 56 part 2

Patricia is at Yolanda's congratulating her. What she did to Helena was pure poetry. And I still haven't carried out the whole plan, says Yolanda. Helena and Valentina are going to regret crossing my path. Pat says she needs Ricardo to forget about the insignificant Valentina and start to see Nora with more appreciation. That insufferable girl has become a fundamental part of our plans, says Yolanda. It's going to be an odyssey turning that horror into a real model but, for us, nothing is impossible. We're only missing one severe blow to Helena. I can do it, says Pat. You're going to steal that marvelous cab driver, Yolanda guesses. That man is worth more than you know, says Pat. Dear, I know you're in love. That's why I advise you not to stop at anything. Helena will be without her house of fashion and without her love. And when a woman loses her love, she loses absolutely everything.

Claudio and Valentina bring some fancy takeout food and wine to Majo's celebration dinner at Helena's. As they take out the salad Helena receives a message from an unknown number. The message says, "Do you know where Hector is?" That has to be Patricia, Valentina says. As Claudio explains his strategy for Monterrey, Valentina receives a text from Nora. "Look who's with us sister" There is a photo of Hector at Guillermo's dinner table.

Hector tells Patricia that he came to work like she asked. I told you I had a comitment and I needed your help, she says. I know we're friends and I'm content with that... Nora bounces in and says, I'm glad you came to the house brother in law. I came to pick up some things for señora Patricia but I'm leaving, he says. Stay for dinner, Nor says, dragging him down the hall. You owe me one, she tells Patricia, I want to see how far you're able to go.

Rosa Maria says the dinner was delicious. Nora tells Hector, I told you it would be worth it to leave your cab and have dinner with us. I think Rosa Maria would have liked it more if Claudio was here, says Ricardo. Everyone is uncomfortable upon hearing that. Guillermo says Claudio is a good guy and Hector adds that they grew up together. We should have invited Helena, no?, says Nora. I would prefer you change the topic, Guillermo says. Helena has nothig to do with us. Excuse me for butting in, Hector says, but you shouldn't talk about your daughter that way. I can talk about my daughter as I like in my own house, Guillermo replies. Well, you should respect your daughter. Because she is self sufficient and has accomplished a lot on her own without help from anyone. Guillermo gets up angrily. Get out of my house, he says. This is my house too, says Pat. You shut up!, Guillermo yells. This isn't your house until the day that I die! He grabs his chest and falls to the floor. Everyone runs to him except Patricia who continues to enjoy her wine. He doesn't have a pulse, Rosa Maria tells everyone, and starts to perform chest compressions. Slowly he comes around and is able to open his eyes.

Leonardo shows up at Consuelo's as dinner finishes, and everyone leaves so he can talk to her. I don't really believe the things I said to you, he says. I'm sorry. Connie says she knows he's under pressure at work and when that happens he says things. Sorry to insist, says Leo, but why do you want to see Yolanda Pratas? There isn't a lot that you can do. You don't know what mother's are capable of doing, Connie replies. It's obvious that Yolanda planned all this, Camila tells him. It seems odd to me that you do nothing to defend us. I just want you to realize the power that she has, Leo says. She hates people like us doing well, says Camila. We're from the barrio. This is our reality. It stopped being my reality a long time ago, Leo says. It's best not to mess with her or you might regret it.

 

TU AMOR ep 56 part 3

Helena receives a call from Nora. She says that Helena's father had a heart attack and she thinks he's dead. Helena says she has to go and calls Hector to tell him what happened. He's not dead, Hector says. Rosa Maria is taking care of him. What?, says Helena. What are you doing there? I'll explain later, he says. I'll see you at the hospital. He looks at Patricia shaking his head, grabs his jacket, and goes.

At the hospital Adelaida tells Helena that Guillermo gave them a scare but is out of danger. Don't even think about going in to see him, Patricia says. Thanks for the comment, says Helena but I'll decide that. Valentina assures Helena that everything will be fine. Helena says she doesn't know what she would do if her father died while they were still fighting. But that didn't happen, Val says. You still have an opportunity to reconcile. I'll never get the chance to tell my father again how much I love him. Helena goes to Gullermo's room and Adelaida invites her in. How are you doing papa?, she asks. How's it look like I'm doing?, he says. Your novio almost killed me from a heart attack. I've been thinking how fragile life is, Helena says, perhaps we've been given a chance to talk. We must not continue like this. I'm your daughter. No Helena, Guillermo replies. You stopped being my daughter a long time ago. My only children are Alfonso and Nora. I'm sorry but it's best if you leave, RM tells Helena, he has to stay calm.

Ricardo is in the waiting room with Patricia. If it wasn't for that naco, Guillermo would be fine right now. Maybe, Patricia says. It could happen any time. Guillermo's health isn't perfect. How can you be so cold?, Ricardo asks. I might even think this suits you. Of course not, she answers, it was only a coincidence. Patricia, I know we have to get back all the money and everything that Guillermo took from us but I was close to dying and I swear I don't wish it on anyone, not even Guillermo. I don't wish it either, Pat says, but it's part of life and it will happen someday. Relax.

Claudio brings Valentina to her room. He tries to comfort her because she feels she caused Helena more pain by advising her to see her father. She asks him to lie with her awhile. She says she's cold and asks him to hold her. They barely fit on the lower bunk and cover up fully clothed. Horacio discovers them later when he is looking for Claudio. He says catching them spooning shows a lack of respect for his house. What are you doing in that bed?, he sputters.

Ricardo meets Adelaida outside of Guillermo's room and says he wants to ask her something. He says that with everything going on now with Guillermo he remembered something that his father told him before he died. He said I'm not his son and I think it's evident because he didn't love me. I realized that I don't know anything about my real father. Do you know anything?, he asks. Adelaida reacts as if she might.
 

TU AMOR ep 56 part 4

Hector sees Helena crying when he comes to her studio. She says her father doesn't love her. Hector tells her that he does, but just doesn't realize it. She says she wishes that for one second her father would show her the affection he gave Alfonso and now gives Nora. What were you doing at his house?, she asks. Why didn't you tell me the job you had was for Patricia? I didn't want you to get angry, he says. What would you have me do? I need the money. Since when is going to dinner with a woman part of your job? I only found out when I got there, he says. And you stayed! I swear, I wanted to go, says Hector, but Nora... I didn't know what to do and later, I didn't like the way your father talked about you. I told him he has to respect you because you're a great woman, you've done many things, and didn't ask anything of anyone. And you did it all without your father's love. He got angry and that's when it went bad. I'm sorry, it's my fault your father eneded up in the hospital. Because I couldn't keep my mouth shut. It's not your fault, Helena says hugging him. Thanks for defending me. That's what I'm here for, he says. I won't let anyone make you suffer, not even your father.

I'm late once again, but I'm here to say a big thank you to Jarifa, excellent recap and WOW! you caught all the fast dialog between SerJerk and Alicia, impressive!

Alicia was just wasting her breath; pobrecita, no matter what she says or does, it just bounces off of SerJerk with alot more nastiness. The Jerk is beyond narcissitic; he's a low-down, unscrupulous, and hateful sociopath. What others want or need means nothing to him...it's all me, me, me and he'll use whomever and whatever to get what he wants. I too wonder how the girls can't see through all of his lies and deceptions.

Can't stand Juleech and I know that her coldness toward SerJerk is just a ploy to reel him in, but I was so glad she told him he wasn't spending the night there.

Gonzo survived the beating with only a few scratches and some sore ribs??? dang! He didn;t even need the magical TN medicine! THe writers gave him a supersonic, self-healing body...which I'm sure will be running after Fedora as soon as he can.

Mujica is SO nauseating! Why does Karina feel compelled to appease him...even after working hours! I was so afraid she would drink too much and he'd take advantage of it. Well, she did drink too much; her little confrontation with Martin will probably just push him away further.

Jarifa, " I do have to laugh at the sniping she [Eva] and Fedora do at each other. Nelson might be the star of this whole thing" Oh so true!

dodni356, I'm late to our party as well. Thank you so much for the superb recap. What would we do without your interretations, translations and additional info about the scenes that are sliced by Uni? We'd all be lost and confused!

The writers must be tired or bored. They sure are coming up with some bizarre stuff, but I am glad that they brought in Feride; I'm really enjoying her scenes. LOVED that she bought Halise the cow with her! And her unyeilding stance against the human Hellise was just what I needed.

Gediz has gone completely nuts. He's really going to trust Sahra...and he thinks Nare will come running to him? DOPE!! I'd like to see a huge shark jump up out of the water and drag him to the bottom of the ocean?? How stupid can he get?!
 

TU AMOR. Another excellent recap, JoelD. I wish I had Diana's eloquence to expand on that. I suspect Yolanda would have gone after Helena's customer orders regardless of what Val said. Of course this way she's able to worm some information out about what Helena's legal recourse will be. I loved Helena's positive reaction. What a great boss! Of course, now Patricia has that bail payment to hold over Hector's head--even though he now has the money to pay it. Sure Leo respects women. :) I thought Guillermo's sea metaphor was cute. I wonder if Ricardo is Guillermo's son. I loved the way Hector defended Helena--even though it triggered Guillermo's heart attack. How handy that Rosa Maria was there! I still guess it's just as well that Connie doesn't tell Leo about once working for Yolanda. If Guillermo dies before reconciling with Helena (which won't happen), that's on him! And would serve him right. Yep, even though Claudio and Val slept in that bed all night, I have no doubt but that they are still fully clothed. :)

Spanprof, your comments always give me a lift. Why would Majo agree to Leonardo's lie? Maybe she wants iron clad insurance that he won't be part of the baby's life. Too bad she can't just level with Helena. It's just like Hector to foolishly show up when Patricia calls but then redeem himself by defending Helena. She must realize that he's a solid guy that she can depend on. That scene with Valentina and Claudio in her little kiddy bed was funny. I agree they probably weren't up to anything that Horacio has to worry about.

I am getting confused again. Let me get this straight...Pat was married to Alonso. Is Richard Pat's brother ? But now, do we suspect Guillermo is his bio father? If so, Guillermo really got around. Then, Richard and Alonso would be half brothers, and if Guillerno is Val' s bio dad, Val would be Richard's hslf sister.

Those who watched Quererlo Todo will recognize many common traits in SerJerk and Artemio Cabrera of QT. This is typecasting at its peak.

What we have yet to see is whether SerJerk will go just as far, to the point of killing someone. Remember Network where they created news from behind the scene by supporting a terrorist organization to do things they later reported on to keep UBS at the top of the ratings? It would not surprise me if SerJerk decided to do this.

I also wonder how the actors feel about playing lovers after just having played father and daughter.
