The loss of a devoted, trusting and caring fur child is difficult to bear. Their unconditional love gives us strength, often when we need it the most. As with all great love, there is great pain but one which one would gladly endure for treasured memories that time cannot erase. Thank you for your support and kind caring. Bless you.

DEJAN - Ep 46: Part 1

Alicia calls the cops to send someone because a thief has entered her home. Martin tells her that her sacrifice will not be appreciated by anyone. She can throw him out of her house thousands of times, but what is in her heart will remain. Alicia reminds him that she is on the road to old age and he has his whole life to live. He won’t want to be with an old woman…and he will want someone younger and will leave her. After Martin tells her that he won’t let her go that easily, he hears the sirens and leaves as Alicia cries.

Inside Fedora is catching up with Gonzo who tells her that he is on the right path with his relationship with Lorena. When he asks about Samuel, she tells him that it is complicated and she knows she needs to get rid of Samuel. Alicia enters and asks to be alone with Fedora so Gonzo leaves. Alicia tells Fedora that she feels like she is dying.

At the church, Cholo assures Yuri that he is fine. The priest wants him to turn himself in, but the situation is too complicated. Yuri understands; she would have died if she had stayed in jail another night. When she tells him that her father and Moises were there and helped get her out, Cholo asks if her fiancée was there; so Yuri assures him that Moises is her EX fiancée and he was there only as her lawyer. Cholo thinks that they should stop seeing each other so that she won’t be associated with a murderer. Yuri reminds him that he is not a murderer...the important thing is that he is there, he is well and she is there with him. Cholo then asks how the cops found out about the park; so Yuri explains that they intercepted her phone and they are probably following her. After Cholo comments that sooner or later they will catch him, Yuri holds his hand and asks what they will do.

Juleech is interviewing Facundo and asks about the alleged conspiracy he mentioned. Facundo explains that there are many inconsistencies in the investigation…he thinks that they are protecting the real murderer. When she asks why Martin hasn’t done anything,, Facundo explains that when they found out that the murderer had been caught, they were satisfied, but then they found out that the cops wanted to close he case regardless of who was being accused.

Diablo is with Sergio who asks where Julieta is. Diablo doesn’t know; so Sergio asks if he knew about Julieta’s project. Diablo denies that too. Sergio then tells him to find out if Julieta has another producer working with her…and he is to keep it quiet.

Eva finds Miranda looking through her pills . She accuses Miranda of looking for drugs and threatens to tell her parents. Miranda pleads with her and explains that she was only looking for a sleeping pill. Eva tells her to find some other way to sleep; this had better be the last time she goes through her things!

Cholo tells Yuri that he is leaving the country; he doesn’t want to die and he doesn’t want to go back to prison…and most of all, he doesn’t want her getting in trouble. Yuri tells him that she can’t let him go; she doesn’t want to lose him. Cholo assures her that she is not losing him, but he can’t stay here. Yuri then tells him that she has a plan.

Mujica is having a hissy fit because Cholo hasn’t been found. After Gutierrez leaves to get coffee, Mujica warns Karina that he has her eye on her...since she seems to be glad that they haven’t found Cholo.

Quique and Pelos watch as some men come out of a building. Pelos tells Quique to keep an eye on the bag which has the money the man pays his employees with.

 

DEJAN - Ep 46: Part 2

Toro enters the house shouting for Quique; so Marcela tells him he is not there. When he chides Marcela for making the same thing for dinner, she wonders why he returned. She is not happy that he returned to be the same way as he was before. When she tells him to go look elsewhere to live, he grabs a knife and threatens that she’d better not suggest that he leave again. He is her husband and this is HIS house. (Is he related to Serjerk?)

Quique and Pelos get into a scuffle with the man they are trying to rob. When the man runs away with the money bag, Quique shoots him!!

Rebeca arrives at Alicia’s and asks about the cops that were there. Alicia explains that she called the cops to get Martin to leave. When they asks why she broke up with Martin, Alicia explains that the price was too high; everyone was pressuring her to leave Martin…and even Carlota advised her to stay away from him. Rebeca thinks they should both drop the therapist….that woman is no good…she gives bad advice! (Rebeca still has all her good senses!)

Carlota and Sofi go visit Maruja. After Sofi tells Maruja that her father finally left that woman, Carlota asks Sofi to leave them alone for a while. Maruja tells Carlota that this is her opportunity to get Martin back, but Carlota is not sure she wants a man who is pining for another woman.

Martin meets with Diablo and tells him that this is the worst thing that could happen to him. Diablo thinks that being with Alicia is the cause of many of his problems. Martin doesn’t see them as problems but challenges. Diablo thinks that Alicia is probably having a difficulty time, especially because of Sergio, but Martin argues that he can be there for Alicia to help her with her problems.

Serjerk meets with Julieta and confronts her about the new program. Did she think he would not find out about it? When he accuses her of using his program, his name, and stabbing him in the back, Julieta argues that she has every right to to think about her professional career…he should be celebrating with her. Serjerk scoffs at he idea of celebrating since she is only a vase of flowers…pretty but just a flower vase. Julieta tells him that when he finds her replacement, he should make sure she is nice and stupid…because those are the ones who are easy to manipulate.

The three amigas continue to talk. Alicia is arguing that Martin won’t be as interested in her when she is 60 years old. Fedora tells her that no matter how much time they spend together, Alicia will at least experience happiness and great sex. By Alicia’s look, they know that there has been no sex yet. Alicia then points out that she is alone and without work…and Sergio has her choked economically. She doesn’t know how to do anything and doesn’t think anyone will hire someone her age. Fedora and Rebeca encourage her and offer to help her write a resumé.

At the church, Yuri is talking to the priest when some cops enter. The priest tells her not to worry since those cops are always in that neighborhood. When the priest leaves to distract the cops, Yuri goes to Cholo.

Karina and Gutierrez are investigating at the site where Quique shot the man. Meanwhile, Quique and Pelos at hoe panicking when Toro approaches,. As Pelos leaves, Marcela arrives and hesitates going inside. Instead she calls Alicia since she has no one else to talk to. Alicia agrees to meet with her. Inside the house, Quique gives Toro the gun.

Martin confides to Diablo what his mother told him about Simon. Diablo thinks that maybe the murder was not incidental...maybe it was because Simon owed someone something.

 

DEJAN - Ep 46: Part 3

Maruja chides Facundo for giving an interview….he is going to end up like Simon! When she tells him about finding drugs in Simon’s room, Facundo doesn’t believe it and forbids her from saying anything like that again.

The three amigas change the subject to Samuel. Fedora is advised to leave Samuel…she needs to go to the cops.

Sergio goes to visit Prudencia who is very glad to see him. Serjerk tells Lucas that he is there to see Prudencia and asks that Lucas leave the room.

Julieta is with Mabel and tells her about how upset Sergio was. When Mabel starts berating Sergio, Julieta tells her that only she can talk badly about Sergio. Mabel insists that Sergio is a machista and he is not going to change just because he is living with her. Julieta argues that the only thing she doesn’t like is that Sergio sees things in a different way. Mabel then drops the bomb—she hired Martin!

After Yuri leaves the church, a cop reports to Mujica—Yuri has left he church without incident. Mujica tells him to continue following her until she gets home.

Mabel defends her decision to hire Martin…she needs a good reporter. She tells Julieta to look at the good side; she can keep an eye on Martin. Julieta smirks and knows Mabel must like Martin, but Mabel denies it.

Prudencia thanks Sergio for all he has done. When Sergio complains that Lucas is a time bomb, Prudencia argues that Lucas has reason since Sergio is doubting that Lucas is his son. When she adds that she was just a young innocent girl, Serjerk argues that she was not a child and she was a flirt. Prudencia retorts that she was a virgin…and he was a man whom no one could say no to…that night and the other nights. When she adds that she was in love…and she couldn’t say no to him…until he ran her out of his house, Serjerk mocks that everyone has their own story (version). Prudencia asks what it is that he wants from her; so Sergio tells her that he can’t continue giving in to Lucas; he can give send them a little something every month but the threats have to end.

The three amigas continue their conversation which now focuses on Rebeca and her resignation from the university. Rebeca explains that she is afraid to make some stupid comment with her students or forget where she is; she wants to be remember as an impeccable professor,

Gonzo takes Lorena a bouquet of flowers. When she tells him that she will take a bath, Gonzo wonders if she needs company in the shower. Lorena reminds him that they are supposed to be taking it slow. Gonzo relents and assures her that the last thing he wants to do is hurt her. (Take a cold shower Gonzo :-)

Martin is with Maruja who is crying and worried since Facundo left after she told him about Simon. Meanwhile, Facundo is at the bar and asks for a tequila. He takes the glass slowly and takes it all in. (Oh noes!)

 

DEJAN - Ep 46: Part 4

Rebeca arrives home and is greeted by Fabian who has brought her a bouquet of hibiscus Rebeca is elated. When she sees the chilled bottle of wine she wonders if she forgot a birthday, so Fabian tells her that from now their life will be an eternal honeymoon…and he asks her to dance.

Culebra and his buds are playing their game when Miranda arrives. Once alone, Miranda blurts out tha she is a virgin…and she wants to stop being one with him!

Yuri arrives home and asks Yaya who is home. After she makes sure that the coast is clear, Yuri lets Cholo out of her trunk and they quietly enter the house and she hides him in the attic…no one enters that room and this will be his home from now on.

Alicia is in the study asking Sergio why he is there. Sergio misses his home, his furniture, his bed. He always thought he would grow old there…and he wants to return tot hat house. When Alicia reminds him that there is no possibility of a reconciliation, she is not taking him back, Sergio tells her that he is not talking about them; he I talking about returning to his house with everything that is there. He is coming back; so she needs to get organized and leave the house as soon as possible.

And so the episode ends…hasta mañana!!

Rgv Chick and Jarifa, thank you for your wonderful, witty and wise recaps this week. All were exceptional and greatly appreciated!

Rgv Chick, this was marvelous and brimming with excitement, drama and yes, even love which has been so sorely lacking of late. “Fabian tells her that from now their life will be an eternal honeymoon…and he asks her to dance” perfectly mirrored that sweet scene. True love does exist.

The three amigas are a thoughtful, formidable, fierce force. They strategize brilliantly and always speak the truth, difficult as it is to hear at times. “Rebeca thinks they should both drop the therapist….that woman is no good…she gives bad advice! (Rebeca still has all her good senses!).” Yes, she does as you so astutely noted Rgv Chick!!

Eva has morphed into a monster. I am saddened and beyond disappointed in both Yuri and Miranda who have been just short of cruel to their mother. With everyone so against Alicia and Martin that she felt she had no choice but to break up with him, shouldn’t the galan back off a bit? (See page 35 of the patio’s “Great Galan Expectations” manual) 😊 Martin seems determined to let nothing stop him – not even Alicia’s followed through threat to call the police!

“Gonzo relents and assures her that the last thing he wants to do is hurt her. (Take a cold shower Gonzo :-)”. Yes, please!

Cholo is my favorite (of which there are few). Watching Facundo give in to his addiction was very tough.

I readily admit I never saw Carlota’s deception coming. She had me completely fooled.

Listening to Prudencia’s conversation with Sergio was chilling. He is just a better dressed and more educated abuser than El Toro.

What an uplifting way to end the day Rgv Chick. Another superb recap. Gracias amiga.

Just when you thought Yuri couldn’t get any more stupid we have her hiding Cholo in the attic ??? I will ask it: Is there a washroom up there? How is he going to eat? Will there be scenes of Yuri sneaking in food? Ridiculous!

Wow! Sergio showed a whole new level of nastiness when dealing with Prudencia.

No surprises from Toro threatening his wife’s life. Another day, another abuser in this one.

FINALLY, Maruja told Facundo the truth about Simón. In her desire to not disappoint him about Simón, she has put Facundo in danger in more ways than one. The road to hell . . . How pitiful to see him with his AA sobriety token give in to his demons at the bar!

How can Alicia be an effective mother when Yaya AND Eva cover for Miranda? No wonder Miranda is the spoiled brat she is. Now it is sex with Diego? Birth control, anyone?

After sleeping and living with his current “competition”, I wonder if Sergio regrets having risked it all for Julieta or if the sex is still worth it?

Talking about about an addiction to sex with a side of violence, Rebeca was right in advising Fedora to find a new therapist. She also was right in recommending the same to Alicia after Carlota’s flip-flopping advice.

Diana, you made me laugh with “galán expectations.” Martín needs to just shut up and go away for a while.

I agree that lust is going to turn to hate - Sergio will not tolerate any competition, especially from a woman. No matter who she is. He literally turned my stomach returning to the house like a conquering hero, demanding Alicia vacate.

Miranda continues to disappoint. I am sure even Bennie is distraught.

Great work!

Interesting revelation about Prudencia. She is too star-struck to do what she should do which is to out herself to the press. The rival network would eat this up like a platter of tacos and SerJerk would finally be in the hot seat with no cool waterfalls run to.

Alicia needs Victoria from PASL. She would make mince meat of Sergio and Juleech and make him suffer financially over this.

This revelation could make Juleech realize what Serjerk really is. Any man who tells a woman "You are nothing without me" is unworthy of any woman.

Or maybe she is only using him until she gets her own program in which case she will laugh at him.

What will Yuri do about Cholo when they have to leave that house? SerJerk is seriously delusional if he thinks his "children" will welcome Juleech taking Alicia's place in their home.

Rebecca seems to be the only woman in this tale who has a decent man in her life. Fabian is what a husband should be.

I hope Culebra has the good sense to have condoms. Miranda should not get pregnant at her age and life stage. It's like the writers are setting up Alicia and her family for grinding poverty.

Eva is a monster who needs to be crushed. Like I said before, she should be cleaning toilets at midnight at the end of this series.

Span Prof, thank you for your succinct but superb comments of yesterday. Although I was able to watch a bit last night, I've missed much and would have been totally lost...

So...Majo is (gravely?) ill...Yolanda now has control of Helena, her life's work, unless she can miraculously come up with the money to pay her back...Thanks to the doctora, Guillermo seemed to kick Yolanda to the curb (with no tolerance from Yolanda)...Nora lied to Claudio that Val and Ricardo slept together...Val told Claudio she doesn't love him but he is still pressing forward...Claudio is suspicious and Camila is heart broken. Is this right or have I misinterpreted something/anything??

Yes, Hector and Helena seem steadfast. Let's hope that continues.

TU AMOR. Welcome back, Diana! I am so glad to see your comments again! Yes, you have it basically right. We're not sure how sick Majo is. The worrisome thing is that it seems to be her head that is affected--so, dangerous side effects from the concussion? I wonder what if anything the 2 Patricia-controlled servants will do to Val's delicious casserole-type side-dish. Nora has now shown herself to be not just obnoxious but evil. It was obvious to anyone paying attention (and I hope Guillermo was) that destroying Val's phone was no accident. And blocking her calls to Claudio, lying about Val's sleeping with Ricardo? That's horrible! And no doubt once again Claudio will be duped. Of course, it's especially terrible that while Val is trying to save Nora from imprisonment, Nora is wrecking Val's life. Sigh. Val is now an actual prisoner. Patricia has upped her demands as many blackmailers do. Is there no deus or dea ex machina who can save Val?
 

And hacking someone's cell phone? That is creepy!
 

Embajador S2 #53 part 1

Nare tells Sancar, I gave the mansion to Kahraman. With a look that says, why’d ya do it Nare? I told you not to do it…. you betrayed me…. and still staring into her eyes, he takes his hands from hers and takes her rings from his pocket. He takes the ring off his finger. Sancar places the three rings in the palm of her hand and closes it. He says, “eyvallah, Sefirin Kızı” (the title for the episode), thank you, ambassador’s daughter. Sancar heads into the mountains and Nare falls to her knees, sobbing.

This is in the Romani language. I think we heard this in the early eps in Podgorica. Might have been just an instrumental then.

The police enter the mansion grounds. Halise along with the other ladies of the mansion come out, what's happened, officer? The officer replies, the prosecutor gave the order to arrest Sancar Efeoglu. Halise asks, what crime did my son commit? The answer—murder, we found the body of Akin Baydar. Right away Elvan tells Halise, no, no, suegra, it's not true, it's a lie. He fell off the cliff and almost died, he wanted to save Nare, they’re lying.

The officer says, if he was innocent, he would have appeared, he would not have hidden the body. We have the prosecutor's order. Don't make this harder. Nare shows up and says, Sancar is not here. He left. She adds, my daughter is inside. I beg you to understand.
The officer says, I'm sorry, but we can't leave. I understand that this is your duty, Nare replies, but look, you’re distressing these poor people in vain. Sancar left here, she continues, but if you want, I can go with you and explain what you want to know. The officer responds, you will have to give a statement, but I'm afraid we must search. He gives the order.

Kavruk steps up, leave the alaca kuş alone. She is the most innocent in this. If something happened, it was all because of me. It was me, Kavruk states, I killed Akin Baydar. He puts his hands out to be cuffed. Another officer whispers, he is Sancar Efe’s right hand man. Kavruk gets insistent, go ahead, I did it. I killed him! I’m the murderer! Nare puts her hand on him…. Kavruk… he looks at her. He’s ready to do this for his Efe.

The officer asks, why don't you give him to us instead of hiding him? Where is Sancar? Kavruk keeps insisting, didn’t you hear me? I killed him, arrest me! The officer finally says, take him away, search the mansion! Notify the port! Watch the coast!

A voice calls out, stop! Stop! It’s Sancar. At once, Nare looks relieved and worried. Sancar comes forward and says, release him, take me. I am the one you are looking for. They release Kavruk and cuff Sancar.

Sancar asks if he can goodbye to his family. To the teary Halise, who has her head down, he says, mother, raise your head. I did nothing wrong to make you ashamed. Halise responds, that's true, my son is an efe, and an efe does what he must. Sancar asks Zehra to tell Yahya to take care of everyone. He goes over to Nare, I sent a video to your phone for Melek. He gives her a sweet, sad smile. Sancar sighs, [Turkish] I entrust you to Allah, first, and then to each other. Nare says, take care, Sancar Efe. He gazes at her once more and turns, it's time to go. The cops walk him out.

Gediz and Muge are at the morgue. He tearfully tells his sister, I couldn't do it. I couldn't save her. Muge tries to comfort him, it’s okay, it's going to pass, calm down. An attendant comes over, we looked for the woman’s records. She has no relatives and will be sent to the mass grave.

I am hoping Majo's condition is "just" side effects as you noted Span Prof.

I thought the "2 Patricia-controlled servants" (good one!) seemed to be impressed with Val and hoped they might have a bit of pity for her. It hadn't occurred to me they might taint the dish somehow.

Nora doesn't deserve any mercy at this point. I can only hope that Claudio is able to save the day as it seems sadly clear that Ricardo is not going to give Val up, even though he seems to be truly falling for Camila. Nora is so two faced and I can't help but think it hasn't escaped Guillermo that his "daughter" leaves much to be desired. We need another Guillermo/Claudio meet up.

Gediz says, no. I’m her friend, I'll take care of her burial. The attendant says there is paperwork to sign. Gediz is very upset, can you believe this, Muge? I couldn't save my friend. I'm a damned idiot! [agree] Muge tells him to calm down and stop blaming himself. Gediz gets a call. Yes, okay, I'm coming. Muge asks, what happened? Gediz replies, the police arrested Sancar. He asks Muge to take care of the paperwork and he leaves.

Gulsiye keeps Melek from leaving her room. Stop, stay here, stop. Melek asks, are you hiding something from me again? Tell me please. I won't cry, I promise. Nare enters and Gulsiye leaves. Melek gets down to it, okay, something bad happened. They go sit on the bed.

Nare starts, you know that we tell you everything. Somethings happen that we don't want to happen. Tonight, the police entered the mansion. Melek asks, and dad? Did dad leave? Yes, he left, Nare says, he went to testify. Melek worries that he is afraid. Mom, you have to go, ask permission. I want to go to him. He feels better when we are together. Nare replies, of course we'll go to him. You and dad thought the same thing. He thought you'd feel better if you could see him. She takes out her phone. He recorded this for you.

Sancar speaks, my beloved Melek. She replies, dad. He tells his daughter, don't be afraid, okay? I will always be with you despite not being around. It will always be like this, my love. Cover your heart with your hand, like this. When you think of me, I will think of you and your mother. We will never part, daughter.

He continues, I want to ask a favor. You know that the girls of the mansion cry as much as they laugh. Just ignore them, okay? Do not worry about them. You told me a story about never giving up. Now you, your mother and I will not give up, my love. I can't hug you, but I'll send you hugs from afar. Nare sighs and silently cries. Sancar signs off, Melek, preciosa. I love you so much, never forget it, okay?

Nare hugs and kisses Melek. She tells her mom, if you want, you can vent. Let's not lose hope. If we have even a pinch, maybe dad will come back. Or I’ll go visit him. [Yes, Nare, your daughter is smarter and stronger than you are. She would have trusted her dad and not done him like you did]

We see Sancar in the back of the police car, wistfully looking out the window.

Halise sobs, my son who knows how to distinguish between the good and evil, almost lost his life, and thanks to that bastard, he will rot in prison. Elvan is trying to take Halise’s blood pressure and it’s high. She asks Feride, what can I do? Lemon water? Feride does not disappoint us. She replies, put her head in a bucket of ice water.

Halise says leave me alone, I don't want water. forget about me. Think about this situation, and who got us all into it. Nare enters and says, Señora Halise, Aunt Feride is right. You should refresh yourself. Halise agrees and asks Nare, answer me. Who framed my son? Who was the bastard that did this to him? Nare tells her to go cool down, I'll tell you later.

And right on cue, the erstwhile traitor Gediz shows up. Halise steps up to Gediz, you promised me that you would take care of each other. You swore you would never harm the other. Do you understand the reason why am I telling you this? See what happens when partners become enemies. Look at what happened to my son. Look what you provoked. Properly shamed, Gediz replies, forgive me. It's true.

Yahya comes rushing downstairs. He asks, mother, are you okay? Halise asks, where were you? Where have you been? [three guesses and the first two don’t count] The police took your brother away. They handcuffed him and took him away. Where have you been? You are going to make me crazy thanks to your actions! Elvan tries to get Halise to calm down.

Yahya accuses Gediz of snitching. [he did, but not this time] Did your enmity lead you to do it? Did you lose control and you decided to report your partner? Gediz answers, do you think I have the will to report him? If I had, I wouldn't have apologized with him yesterday. Yahya says, apparently, Sancar did not forgive you and you reported him to the police for revenge.

Gediz tries to turn the tables, didn’t he hit you a few days ago? Maybe you reported him. Yahya vehemently denies this, I would never betray my brother! Gediz shoots back without thinking, he's also my—Gediz catches himself. Nare asks Gediz to leave. He does.

Sancar is being questioned by the prosecutor. The victim had torture marks on his body. According to the testimony of your ex-wife, there was a conflict between Nare Celebi and the victim. Sancar scoffs, is he the victim? Are we the bad guys, Señor Fiscal? The fiscal asks Sancar to keep quiet and only respond to the questions. He asks, what did you do?

Sancar states, I didn't kill him. There is evidence, the fiscal says, denying it won't save you. Sancar says, you don’t understand me. I don't want to be released because I deny it. [Turkish] When I say I didn’t kill him, I’m saying it’s a shame that I didn't kill him. When I wanted to save Nare, from that damn psychopath, we both fell from the cliff.

Sancar’s lawyer presents some evidence—Sancar’s medical records, the surgery he received, physical therapy and other reports as well. [do they mention the cowhide burrito?] The fiscal discounts this saying, these reports do not serve as proof. They were made after the death of Mr. Akin. Maybe he (Sancar) had another accident we don’t know about? If you two fell together, how did you manage to save yourself? [at this moment a part of me wished that Sancar snitched on Nare]

Sancar remains silent but his lawyer speaks up, please, listen to Nare Celebi and Omer Kavruk who will serve as witnesses. The fiscal doesn’t care. He says to Sancar, I'll be frank with you. Your situation is not good. Nare Celebi is the mother of your daughter. Omer Kavruk is your right hand. Their testimonies will not be valid in court. And furthermore, it was your partner who formed the police about the death Akin Baydar. Your ex-wife reported the location of the corpse, and it was found on your aunt's property. You better confess and declare that you are sorry.

Sancar makes his declaration, [Turkish] I only regret not having killed the bastard with my own hands. I won’t lie, I brought him up there to throw him off, but Nare tried to stop me. And when she did, he took her hostage. When I tried to save my daughter's mother, we both fell off the cliff. My bones were broken. I suffered in pain for many days.

The fiscal asks a critical question, if what you say is true, who hid Akin? Sancar is silent. His lawyer fidgets. [here again I wish he would snitch on Nare] Do you want me to swallow that story, Sancar Efeoglu? Sancar can only respond, well that's how this happened, Señor Fiscal. It's up to you whether you believe me or not.

The fiscal asks for the guards, and for Sancar to be arrested. He tells Sancar he will have time to think before the trial but since the evidence is obvious, it will be the easiest case in his whole life.

Kman arrives at the marina club. Guards welcome him. Kman asks, who are you? A guard responds, I'm Ali, head of security for Mr. Guven. What? Are you serious? Ali explains that Guven is meeting inside with friends, and he is waiting for Kman. The guards accompany Kman inside.

Guven is celebrating with some people, and they are toasting with champagne. He sees Kman and tells the guests, I'll be right back.

Embajador S2 #53 part 4

Kman explains it to Guven, the chaos has already begun. Sancar was caught. He will destroy us if he can get out of this. Even if he doesn't, Gediz or Nare will. He warns Guven, you shouldn't celebrate yet. Guven replies, if I don't allow it, Sancar will never come out. And about Nare and Gediz, when I'm done with them, they will do what I order. Guven hands the paperwork to Kman, the Efeoglu mansion is yours, but don't bother moving in just yet. Wait for my signal.

Kman is ticked. He takes the paper and tosses it on the table and asks Guven, what's wrong with you? Did you become my boss without telling me? You put guards outside. You’re celebrating. You start giving me orders. Guven says, I'm not your boss, I'm your partner. Kman says, partner?

Guven shares, Akin’s corpse was found. The inheritance will be settled. Wouldn't you like to have a hundred million dollars, partner? Ok, Kman is listening. He asks, if you convince Nare about inheritance, how are you going to get her to give it to you?

Guven thinks no problem. He tells Kman, when I'm done with her, she's going to have to obey me. Relax and enjoy the victory. You did what you said, you did not report Sancar. Kman asks, did Menekse do it? How did she agree?

Flashback. A lawyer meets with Meanie. She’s wondering if the state sent him because she can’t afford a lawyer. He tells her no and he doesn’t want money. Was it Sancar who sent him? The lawyer says it was Guven who wants him to work on her case. Meanie is surprised, that’s Nare's father. The lawyer says Guven is outside waiting to speak to her.
Guven tells the lawyer to go and if he can convince Meanie, he can defend her. Meanie asks, what do you want from me? Guven says that doesn’t matter. Would you like to be suffering the rest of your life without a coin in your pocket and starving? Meanie claims this is just a misunderstanding; it was an accident.

Guven tells her it will not be easy to prove. But if you do what I order, Emre (the lawyer) will help you. He’s one of the best lawyers. I can also give you money. You won’t even step in the prison. Meanie worries, how many years will I be imprisoned?

Guven says he will not allow that to happen. All she has to do is report that Akin is buried on Sancar’s aunt’s property. Meanie asks, but you know this. Why don’t you report the body? Why are you asking me to do it? End flashback.

Good question Kman thinks, why didn't you report it? Guven explains, you will discover that I take care of my partners as I do myself. If I had reported it, Gediz, Nare and Sancar would think you did it. For instance, if Gediz reports the murder of ….that boy…. Loki… if Gediz reports that you concealed the evidence of Loki's death, you would think Sancar reported you. Kman pointedly asks, are you threatening me now?

Kman tries to issue a threat of his own. Listen, if you trust your men there, don't trust those men. guven: first ... they aren’t like your men. They protect important people in dangerous places. They are professionals. Second ... I don't have to threaten you, Kahraman. Aren’t we partners? Guven excuses himself to rejoin his friends. Kman grabs him and cautions, until I get my money, the marina is mine. Be careful, I hope you understand. Kman leaves.

Gediz pulls up to the Marina, brakes screeching. He gets out and bangs on Kman’s van. Get out! Did you hear?! Kman gets out and tells Gediz, someone else played with my patience a while ago. Don't do the same. Gediz demands an answer, you got what you were looking for. What do you want from Sancar now?

Embajador S2 #53 part 5

Kman answers, now you worry about Sancar? Ah, I just remembered. You are afraid that Nare will turn you in for fake checks, right? Gediz says Kman is wrong I wish she would, he tells Kman, so I could pay for what I've done. Kman laughs, did you hear that? Gediz has conscience, too. Gediz grabs Kman’s collar and demands his answer, tell me why you did it.

Kman shouts, get away! Who sent you? What's this all about? I didn’t report him, understand?! I did not report him, I am clean! Gediz presses, Menekse couldn't do it alone. If it wasn't you, someone else forced her. Who? How would I know, Kman replies. Gediz mocks, all the time you're screaming, "I'm Kahraman Boz", huh? No one can move without being ordered.

Just then, Nare drives up. Kman complains, why are you all coming? What is this? Nare rushes over to Kman, Sancar was arrested. The agreement is terminated. You will return the mansion. Forget the paperwork, did you hear me? Kahraman snarks back, and anything else? Do you want the shares back too? Nare calls him disgusting and shameless. You took the mansion from us, and you used my father.

Kman’s got news for her. Did I use your father? Your father is the one who used us all. He played us. It was all his idea to convince Menekse to report the body and get the mansion. I took his word for it. I thought he was a trustworthy man, but no… do you understand? [oh, Nare knows what her father is capable of] Kman adds, the guilty one is over there in the marina. If you don't believe me, go make him answer to you. Nare says, my father had Sancar reported….

Sancar is sitting on bunk in a cell. Some shady guy is watching him. Shady goes to the bathroom and takes a phone and a knife from a hiding place. Shady places a call to Guven: Sancar Efeoglu is here in the cell. Guven tells Shady to get ready. Take care of him when I tell you to.

Nare and Gediz confront Guven on his way out of the club. Guven laughs, what a beautiful surprise. There are some barbs tossed between Gediz and Guven. Gediz steps close to Guven and the guards move to step in. Guven waves them off saying, she's my daughter and he is an acquaintance.

Nare asks, how could you do it? Guven replies, for justice. Do you think it's good to let a murderer roam the streets freely? [but a rapist is ok] Nare scoffs, did you say justice? It's funny [but not ha, ha funny] that you say it. Melek is in the mansion, she tells her father, did you forget that you have a granddaughter named Melek? She lost her dad because you sent him to prison! Does that make you feel better?

Guven quickly answers yes. But I'll feel better tomorrow. Because tomorrow everyone will be evicted. Nare attacks her father, you’re a damn coward! The guards separate them and Gediz holds her. She shouts, what did you say? All of you let go me, I am talking to my father! Gediz asks, what are you planning, Guven? You got the victory, show your cards. Guven replies, isn't it sad that they treat you as guilty all the time, Gediz? I know you understand me.

Nare states, they will not vacate the mansion, understand? Guven responds, sure. I don't want to break your heart. I want the 100 million from Akin and also some other requests. Nare snaps back, why would I do what you ask? Guven answers, because Gediz understands. He knows what I can do. Here comes the hook—Sancar could be totally free. Gediz says Guven is lying.

Nare considers taking the bait, tell me what you want. Guven makes them wait. Nare explodes again, tell me what you intend to do! Guven says, I gladly waited for this day to finally come. I thought the situation was going to be more sentimental, but this is excellent. Gediz asks for an explanation and Guven asks them inside.

They edited a little here. Sancar is speaking to another inmate. He tells Sancar maybe someone else, maybe Nedim, would take the blame. Sancar says that wouldn’t be appropriate for an Efe. He can do his time but thinking about what is going on outside is making him crazy. The inmate gives him advice, don’t worry about the outside or time will stand still in here. Let your lawyer take care of that.

Shady guy comes in and hovers over Sancar. The other inmate asks, what’s up, Riza? What are you doing standing there? Sancar looks up at shady Riza. Riza smiles, do you want another tea Sancar Efe? No thanks, is the reply.

Guven shows Nare and Gediz a video that seems to be Sancar and Akin falling from the mountain! He quips, technology now saves many lives. Look, Nare, you're going to admire your father. Gediz is amazed, how did you get this? Guven says that doesn’t matter. Gediz asks, how long ago did you get it? Guven wants to avoid that topic. It makes him feel like he’s betraying Akin. Gediz asks, what do you want?

Guven wants two favors. First, Akin’s inheritance. He pulls out a paper. With this document, you give me all possession. And the second is ... he looks at both Gediz and Nare… get married. If you don't want Sancar to spend his life in prison, you must become husband and wife.

Gediz grabs Guven by the collar and shakes him, what kind of man are you?! Who would do that to his own daughter?! Why? What do you want? Guven uses that “funny” word again, I want justice. Gediz repeats, justice? What justice, and he raises his arm to strike Guven? We don’t see Nare but the camera tilts and we hear a thud. Gediz rushes over, Nare? Nare? Nare?

Nare has made her way back to the mansion. She looks weary and sick. Elvan goes to her, are you okay? Melek is in his bed sleeping, don't worry. Mrs. Halise proved she can still be in charge of her people. She asks, tell me, is Sancar okay? Can you save him? She sees Nare’s anguished face and adds, I didn't mean it literally, forgive me.

Elvan gives her some advice. Listen to me. What are you going to do? If it is not in your hands, it’s best to pray. Think positive, that will help you. Nare starts to sob. Elvan pulls her in, hold me baby, everything is going to be fine. Everything will get fixed.

Stop blackmailing me. Guven says, okay, as you wish, and hangs up. This surprises Nare she expected a little back and forth. Hello? Hello?

Guven makes another call--are you ready, he asks the unseen person?

Cut to Sancar washing his face in the bathroom. He looks up to see Riza with a towel. Sancar asks, sorry, did you want something? No, you just left the towel in the bedroom. I just brought it to you. Sancar asks, have we met before? Riza says, everyone here knows you sir, you’re famous, although you know nothing about me.

Yahya is hurrying off when Kavruk stops him. Where are you going? I’m going to kill Kahraman. Nare appears, all dressed in black. She says, Kahraman did nothing. Yahya asks, if not Kahraman, then who? You wouldn't have said that if you didn't know the culprit.

Nare answers, it was the ambassador. Yahya rants, your infamous dad was the one who did it then? What did my brother do to your father, Nare? Nare says, I'm not going to defend him, Yahya. She walks out of the gate. Kavruk and Yahya follow.

A couple of cars pull up. Yahya asks one of the men, what happened? Is there news from my brother? The man shows Yahya a document and says, eviction notice. You have 24 hours to vacate the mansion.

And we are out.

Just when you think Guven has sunk as low as he can go, he does a deep dive into evil . I saw a photo online months ago that confused me, but n ow I get it .

OT....At first, I watched the first episode and part of the second of "Fatmagul" , but then I skipped around the middle and then I watched the end . I just watched episode 3, and I don't think I could have stood watching the first 30 episodes one after the other . I Also read a bit about the actor . Very talented ...and I hope it is tyoe casting and that he is a great guy in his real life. ...a Sweet, kind, handsome guy.

Nare is very disappointing…..when your evil worm of a father shows up unexpectedly you don’t go out to meet him alone—when he’s using his phone, if you rush him then grab & toss that phone as far as poss or under the wheels of his car—and if pressured to sign your name to something knowing full well the betrayal Never sign your name correctly, leave out or add a letter, even better just scribble your name so it’s his and his crooked Notary’s problem!!! And if wormy dad wants you to marry your friend take a clue from other TNs and have a platonic marriage then divorce a couple months later. Has anyone confirmed that the inheritance is still going to Nare? Akin could have changed it just to be funny. —thank you for letting me vent…. SaraAnne

What a mess!

Oh, how I miss the days when Sancar would barge into Guven’s room and start to strangle him straight away!

So Gediz has regrets and now he might finally get the woman of his dreams. Yes, Nare is a disappointment and I’m so angry with her. At this point in the story, I began to think Nare and Gediz truly deserved each other, but not for good reasons. They are both toxic for Sancar. Stay away from Efem!

As far as we know, Akin’s money still goes to Nare. Your idea of a platonic marriage is a good one, SaraAnne. But even if it is platonic, it would likely be regarded as a betrayal in Sancar’s eyes.

OT Fatmagül

If we keep talking about this show, I’ll be very tempted to watch it again from start to finish! It would be my third time watching. I still watch clips when they pop up on my YouTube. I agree the first couple of weeks were tough, but I am so glad I stuck with it. I watch every dizi and movie that Engin makes. FWIW, fans that have met him report that he is a very nice guy.

After watching episode 3 and 4 today, I now see that Mukkaddes is more than a nasty busybody who delights in raining on everyone's parade at every opportunity. Talk about negative mojo. . She is truly vile .

SI NOS DEJAN #47 Part 1

1. Alicia cannot believe what she is hearing as Sergio insists he is going to return to live in HIS house that he paid for with HIS money. She asks him if he has forgotten that he has the career and family he has because of her working behind the scenes. He looks at her dismissively (I wanted to slap that smug look off his face) and informs her act any maid could have done the same or BETTER than her. Alicia comes to the sudden realization that her relationship with Martín must have really hurt him very badly because now all he wants to do is hurt her. She says he has to remember his children because it is their house, too. He makes a point telling her that he realizes that. The one who doesn't belong there is HER.

2. As Yuri rummages through the attic, Cholo keeps looking around like he expects the police to jump out from behind a storage box. He is nervous putting her at risk by staying there. She insists it will just be for a couple of days. She would do anything for him. She would die if anything happened to him. They kiss.

3. Alicia gives Sergio the very bad news that she isn't leaving. The "help" isn't stupid. Sergio has nothing else to say. She asks if he thinks her lawyer is stupid. Yes, he is an imbecile. As Sergio's face turns red from anger, Alicia tells him he looks like he is going to have a heart attack. Maybe he should go check with his cardiologist. Alicia tells Sergio that he was the biggest mistake she made in her life. Sergio answers that she should get out of his house if that is the case. Eva enters the scene reminding them that they are still a family. Alicia thinks that Sergio stopped being family a long time ago. Eva chimes in with the "He is the father of your children" chorus. Furthermore, Alicia needs him by her side. Eva also drops the news about Miranda trying to steal her sleeping bills. Sergio turns on Alicia and asks if she knows where Miranda is. Alicia says she went to the pak. Sergio is sure she went for drugs. He blames Alicia and pledges to set things straight when he moves back home. Eva is all excited Sergio is coming back. Alicia tells her over her dead body.

4. As Diego starts to undress in Miranda's head and she screams out "NO!" and starts to leave. A fully dressed Diego asks if she is okay and tries to get her to relax. She doesn't know what she is doing there. She is sick of everyone: her mother, school, Nicole and him. He tries to calm her down and talk some sense to her. He asks what is her problem anyway. She answers that HE is her problem. She thought he would be the last person to ever disappoint her and look at what he has done. He has never stopped lying to her. She rages on. One minute he is here with Nicole; the next, he is at her house. He is hurting her. He tries to calm her down. He says he would never hurt her. It is the last thing he would do. *(Then why is Nicole literally still literally in the picture??? Enquiring minds want to know) He holds her and comforts her.

5. In tears, Alicia storms into her room as she is calling Miranda to find out where she is. There is no answer. Desperate, she calls Martín but hangs up after one ring. Next, she calls her lawyer Angel saying that they need to talk ASAP. It is urgent.

 

DEJAN Part 2


6. Martín is on a mission in his car leaving yet a third message for Facundo. He asks Facundo to call him. He is headed where he is. He loves him.

7. Facundo continues his tequila relapse. The bartender tries to bring up AA but Facundo isn't interested. Hejust wants him to fill his glass.

8. Lucas is raving to him mother that if Sergio thinks he is getting rid of them with a simple monthly allowance, he has another thing coming. When Prudencia reminds him how generous Sergio has been to them, Lucas tells her that they have only gotten crumbs from him. She is afraid that if Lucas continues to confront him, they will even lose that. Well, Lucas isn't about to settle for that kind of charity from Sergio because they deserve much more. He is going to get a DNA test. Prudencia looks worn out.

9. Julieta confronts Tamayo about telling Sergio about her wanting her own show. It was hers to tell. He isn't happy with the her tone and tells her to remember who she is talking to. She apologizes and shifts into a calmer mode. Tamayo reminds her that this is a tv network and that they cannot keep the production of a new show a secret. Julieta quickly realizes what he is saying. Tamayo confirms that her show was approved today. She thinks him and is overjoyed. He tells her to not get crazy over it and that she will have tube patient. She is worried that Sergio could somehow bar her from doing it. Tamayo says her job is to convince Sergio that she is no competition to him. He is sure she will solve that problem in her "personal life" with Sergio. He doesn't know that is good or bad. Julieta laughs.

10. Rebeca is worried she will forget how much she loves Fabián. He says she won't and pours them some bubbly. In spite of the scare this has given them, she could not be more grateful for the life she has now. He is her blessing in the middle of the nightmare. They toast.

11. Fedora goes to see Carlota. She tells her she is in the middle of countless dramas between her life and those her friends. Fedora asks about Rebeca. Fedora tells her about how wonderful Fabián has been. Carlota agrees saying that having a partner is a blessing. Fedora agrees and asks how could Carlota ever tell Alicia to break up with Martín. Carlota asks that she concentrate on her own issues. Fedora continues that it just seemed innapropriate to her since Martín made Alicia so happy. Carlota suddenly becomes the "ethical" therapist and says she cannot discuss her other clients. She asks about Samuel.

12. Cholo goes running to die when he hears the door being opened. he wants a secret signal so he knows it is her. She assures him that nobody comes up there.(Sure . . . ) (Doesn't anyone hear him running to hide? Maybe he should take off his shoes.) Yuri tells him that she needs him to be strong enough to wait it out. If they don't find him, the police are going to think he went to another country or place. Then they will start looking for the countless real criminals out there. She is so excited to have hamstring there so very close. He asks who else lives in the ouse. She says it is madhouse at the present time. Cholo paces around as she tells him how crazy they all are. When they come to her, Cholo adds that she is the most sane one of all to keep a fugitive in her attic, right? They hug.


 

DEJAN Part 3

13. Martín finds his father in the bar but is unable to stop his father from drinking. His father is disappointed because you cannot trust anyone not even members of your own family. He cannot deal with the fact that Maruja might have been right about Simón all along and he has been living a lie.

14. Alicia is still leaving messages for Miranda demanding that she came home immediately. Yay announces tha Angel the lawyer has arrived. He tells her that 50% of the house belongs to her. Besides that Miranda is a minor and as long as she has custody Miranda, she cannot be forced to move out. Angel adds that he might be seeking custody of Miranda to make her move out. (If that happens she needs to ask for her 50% of the house in CASH. Too bad so sad if he would have to sell it to raise the money)Angel adds that it is practically impossible for a child to be taken from a mother unless the other party can prove that the child is at risk in the mother's care. That is what Alicia is afraid of because Miranda has had a very difficult adolescence. Angel adds that is why he is there to make sure she is protected from any kind abuse in court. Her ex can throw all of the tantrums he wants but the laws are set up to make sure that men like him don't get their way.

15. Sergio is talking to his lawyer saying he ants to see Alicia leave with only the clothes on her back. He could care less what the civil code says. His lawyer is not so sure since adultery is not a crime and those photos were after the divorce took place. Then there is his affair with Julieta. he said on the air that they were not involved and then it turns out a week later that they were living together. Sergio moans that since Alicia lives with the children in HIS house, why does she get to have everything? They both know that judges are paid off everyday and he is willing to do it to get his way. His lawyer explains that her lawyer will counter sue and it will end up being a long process where Sergio won't get anything. The lawyer has an IDEA: if Sergio could get custody Miranda, that would all change. He could get the house back because it is where his child lives. Sergio thinks that is perfect.


 

DEJAN Part 4

16. Miranda calls herself an idiot for exaggerating everything. Diego doesn't want his "crush" talking like that about herself. Miranda smiles. He says she has to treat herself better. She is a super special girl and if the others can't see it, they lose! She wishes she could believe him but there is a voice inside her saying that he is lying to her. He tells her to put those demons to rest and if they come back to tell them he went out for a six pack. She giggles. She goes to play a video game but her doubting self appears on the screen instead telling her how pathetic she is like a street dog chasing after every bit of leftover love thrown her way. Miranda insists that Diego cares about her. Her doubting self asks if she hasn't realized yet that Diego cannot stand to be with her. Miranda is the only liar. She got up a bit of courage to announce she was a virgin and then went running off. Miranda tries to explain that it isn't easy because she is afraid. Her doubting self says she is always afraid. 17. Martín says that what his mother said about Simón doesn't make him into a criminal at all. Facundo is worried about what Mujica would do with that information. Martín assures him Mujica doesn't know because if he did, he would have used it already Facundo knows that Martín and Simón were close. He asks if what Maruja said was true. Martín tries to avoid answering the question. Facundo insists it can't be! Facundo gets even angrier and more frustrated. He orders another tequila. Martín reminds him of all the effort it took to get out of that dark pit of alcoholism. Now he is headed back there once again. Facundo doesn't give a ". . . ." (add your own expletive). Martín asks if Simón would like to see him like this after all the hell Facundo put them through. Facundo wants another tequila.18. Fedora comes home to find Samuel in her bed drinking. She asks what he is doing there. They are not married even though he acts as if they were. He thinks that a marriage license is only a "piece of paper." (haven't I heard that countless times in novelas and out. Fedora says that two people get married to be happy and he is doing nothing to contribute to her happiness. He blames it on some kind hormonal disorder, maybe menopause. She informs him that the only disorder that she has in her life is him. She doesn't want to continue living like this. He approaches her and says he might not have heard that correctly. He asks that she repeats it. She tells him to look at himself. He has that troubled look in his eyes that makes her feel like she can't say what she wants to say in case she irritates him. That could end in a beating. She doesn't want that in her life anymore. If he does not radically change, he will either have to get out of her life or end hers. She leaves.


 

DEJAN Part 5

19. Alicia asks Yuri if she has seen Miranda. No, she hasn't. She angrily tells Yuri about how Miranda is missing and not answering her phone. Yuri asks why Alicia is in such a bad mood. Alicia says pick one: Miranda is not answering her calls; Eva dropped the bomb that Miranda was trying to steal her sleeping pills; Sergio is trying to force her out of the house because he is coming back to live there. Yuri is sure that Alicia must have done something for him to want her out of the house. Alicia smiles and sarcastically answers, of course!!!!, her father wants to run her out of the house and she is the one at fault. Alicia continues that because her father is running her out of the house, Yuri will have all the time she wants with him since she adores him so very much and she will also have her precious stepmother. That will be just great!!! As Alicia leaves, Yuri isn't smiling.

20. Carlota tries to explain to Sofía why she is sad. It has to do with work. It is as if you got a good grade on a test but only because you copied a friend's work. Sofía says that is cheating. Carlota says she didn't cheat but she wasn't very professional with one her clients. Sofía tries to console her saying that we all have our bad days.

21.Rebeca and Fabián are in bed together happy having had a very good time. Fabián says their trip to Italy is planned and ready to go. She wonders if they should go see Paquito instead. She wants to see her son before she forgets he is her son.

22. Martín brings Facundo home. Facundo asks his wife if she has another deep dark secret about Simón to tell her. She cries. Martín cries as he puts Facundo to bed and takes off his shoes.

23. Karina has what she thinks is good news for Mujica. No it isn't about Cholo. They have matched the ballistics from the gun that that was just used on the bank guy to the gun that shot Simón. It is the same gun. Cholo didn't commit this crime. The witnesses gave a description of the man who did it. He looks nothing like Cholo. Mujica says that doesn't mean that Cholo was not involved. He needs to see the ballistic report with his own eyes.

24. As soon as she leaves, Mujica calls Toro to inform him that the gun that was used on Simón is back in action on the streets. Toro says it cannot be because he has the gun. Mujica tells him he is no dummy and that very gun was used in a robbery TODAY and a man was injured. Toro says he will call him back.

25. Toro grabs his son and says he told him not to make a fool out of him. Quique told him the gun was clean and now it turns out that it was involved in an assault and injured a man. Quique blames Pelos. Pelos shot the guy not him. Toro needs to get rid of the gun.


 

DEJAN Part 6

26. Diego has come back with the beers. He and Miranda are drinking. She is not answering her phone. Diego says she can do what she wants. She asks if he is a virgin. He chokes on his beer as he says he isn't. She can only imagine him with Nicole, Martita and who knows how many more. Diego laughs. She never has made love.Maybe she doesn't know how to do it. Diego says it isn't complicated; just a matter of two people exploring each other. She doesn't think love can cure everything. He says no it doesn't unless you find that special person. Miranda announces that she wants to make love with Diego. After an awkward moment, they finally kiss and do teh deed.

27. Cholo gobbles down the food that Yuri has brought him and apologizes for his poor manners. That is what she like about him. What you see is what you get. She likes him just the way he is. He asks why she decided to cancel the wedding. She holds his face and asks him if it isn't obvious.

28. In the meantime, Moisés has stopped by to see Yuri. Eva gets a hold of him first and emphasizes how he has to fight to get Yuri back maybe using the methods that men used to win women's hearts back in her time. She tells him to get going!

29. Sergio is telling Julieta how Alicia was like a mad woman threatening him with a bunch of things. When Julieta tries to make light of the situation, Sergio informs her that Alicia has a lot of ammunition against him. Now the most important thing that he can do is foster a god relationship with his children so they can be on his side in court. Julieta says now is the time to act. She tells him to call them and invite them to dinner tonight.

30. Gonzo is in bed with Lorena she he gets the call from his father. He is reticent to even answer the phone but Lorena encourages him to do so. It could be important. Gonzo answers (mistake #1)Sergio tells him that it is time to create new family traditions in spite of his separation from Alicia. He misses them all so much. Julieta sits nodding approvingly at his "script". He would like them to start having dinner together like once a week . So, he is inviting him to dinner tonight. Gonzo is hesitant to accept but Lorena (yikes! she is turning into a good two shoes) encourages him again to accept and he does (mistake #2).

31. Julieta laughs when Sergio hangs up.(Why? We don't know)

32. Lorena, who is clueless, tells Gonzo now is the time to make peace with his father. They kiss.

33. Yuri is having her own smooch-fest with Cholo up in the attic as Yaya yells for Yuri to come down from her room because Moisés is there to se her. Eva soon joins in the bellowing. Yuri leaves a concerned looking Cholo with the rest of his food.

34. Yuri comes down to see Moisés. Why did he come. he starts to how it hurts coming over since this was like his second home for so long. Yuri remarks that things change. Eva goes in to remind Julieta that her own novio was waiting so long for her. (Cannot the writers put a lid on Eva already? Her funeral in the middle of this check when she will be back at the office. Everyone is expecting her. She thanks him because she has had a few complicated days lately. He wants her to known that he is there for her and for her to be careful. Cholo jumps up to hear what is got on through a little window at the top of th attic. Moisés tells her that if Cholo calls not to answer. Her association with him could cost her her freedom and her life. Doesn't she get that? It would be a pity for her to waste her life on a miserable guy who isn't up to her class of people.

35. Miranda jumps up from the bed leaving Diego asking if she liked it or if he did something wrong. Miranda, suddenly all dressed, (when did that happen?) just stares at her ringing phone.

36. Facundo has awakened and calls for Maruja. Martín will wait for her. He calls Alicia.


 

DEJAN Part 7

37. Yuri gets the call from Sergio for dinner at Julieta's. He says both of her siblings are coming. She loves the idea and will be there at 5:00 not 4:00. (Somehow she wanted to come at 4:00???)He has missed them all so much. The rebuilding their family has started. Julieta congratulates him on inviting them all. This is just what was needed and she will help him.

38. Alicia has gotten together with Marcela to talk about Marcela's problems but has been going on about her own. They conclude that money doesn't have any bearing on life because their problems are basically the same. (Ah, the great leveling power of the telenovela!)

39. Alicia gets a call from Martín and excuses herself to answer it. He starts off with how much he has missed her voice and thanks he for answering. She tells him the same thing she did in person: to please not call her or seek her out. Her life is a disaster and she needs o get it in order. It is as if a bomb has exploded and razed everything around her. She asks him not to insist on anything anymore. The quicker they end this the quicker this pain will be over. Martín says this storm will pass and afterwards everyone will go on their own happy ways and the two of them will be left behind destroyed. They will never be able to live the miracle of being together. Alicia disagree. It is a mistake; a marvelous one, but still a mistake. She begs him to leave her alone. She says goodbye. She hangs up. She blocks his number. Marcela comes over to see if she is okay. Alicia, in tears, wonders if she was just stupid enough to get rid of her only chance at being happy. Marcela tries to console her.


FIN
 

TU AMOR. I was glad to see that Val didn't obey Patricia's command to stay imprisoned in the house. I was also happy that Claudio was a little skeptical about Val's having spent the night with Ricardo. Of course, he misinterpreted when Val just accepted a lift from Ricardo to get to Helena's quicker and when she gave Ricardo a sympathetic hug after his revelations about his real father. It looks as if there are the seeds of a few plot twists that could bring down Patricia, Enrique and Nora. Enrique can't get access to the online account of embezzled funds thanks to the blackmailing computer nerd, Nora is asking to get the papers with her signature back because she's not getting the farm immediately and Yolanda seems to have something negative planned for Nora since Guillermo rejected her. We're well over halfway through this novela, so I hope the good guys don't have to suffer too much longer, though I expect they will.
 

TU AMOR. Also, what's with that army medal sent to Adelaida? Generally medals like that are sent to a parent after their offspring dies. And Morse code? Maybe Adelaida can find a former boy scout in her age range to interpret it.

Beautifully written Jarifa. You somehow managed to capture what I thought was the saddest and most demoralizing episode to date and somehow make it bearable. Your insightful "(Ah, the great leveling power of the telenovela!)" had me nodding in vigorous agreements.

"Eva is all excited Sergio is coming back. Alicia tells her over her dead body" summed up the present contentious storyline perfectly.

I must repeat this almost impossible to comprehend exchange in its entirety: "Yuri is sure that Alicia must have done something for him to want her out of the house. Alicia smiles and sarcastically answers, of course!!!!, her father wants to run her out of the house and she is the one at fault. Alicia continues that because her father is running her out of the house, Yuri will have all the time she wants with him since she adores him so very much and she will also have her precious stepmother". I am pretty much through with both Yuri and Miranda who are proving they are Eva's granddaughters. I cannot comprehend such cruelty from young women who know better. My heart hurts for Alicia.

And then the lawyer suggests Sergio sue for custody? What will be next I wonder in disbelief.

Watching Facundo hitting close to rock bottom was gruesome. Seeing his wife's and son's misery showed the heartbreaking consequences of alcoholism.

So, we now just learn about Paquito.

"He thinks that a marriage license is only a "piece of paper." (haven't I heard that countless times in novelas and out". Yes, Jarifa, you have.

"Cholo adds that she is the most sane one of all to keep a fugitive in her attic, right? They hug". Cholo, Nelson and Bennie are the characters I'm holding onto for dear life.

Fabian and Rebecca's sweet dance was lovely, yet knowing this is the beginning of the end cast a shadow over this one bright moment.

Good stuff, Jarifa. This was a difficult episode to endure.

Was Culebra a virgin? Good question and this reminded me of someone I knew in my historical reenactment days. A guy I new there read sex manuals prior to his first time with his girlfriend who was also a virgin. Very sensible. However we didn't hear the next most important word here. That word starts with a C.

Yuri will probably keep her cool around Juleech, but I am not so sure about Gonzalo and Miranda. Walking out would make them look rude and hanging around will make them look disloyal to Alicia.
There isno winning this situation at this time. The only way out would be if Juleech makes the first faux pass.

The first of two gut wrenching, depressing TNs last night!! Ack.

"It looks as if there are the seeds of a few plot twists that could bring down Patricia, Enrique and Nora". We must continue to hope right SpanProf???

Seeing Majo in such pain was hard to watch. And the continuing bad, bad timing for Valentina and Claudio is just absurd at this point. When I start to conjure up a bit of pity for Ricardo, he reverts to his taunting and tantalizing torment of Claudio.

SpanProf, it appeared Valentina told Guillermo what was happening to Helena or did I misunderstand? It appears he might be the only hope but I don't know which would be more difficult. Getting him to offer her the financial help she needs or for her to accept it.

Nora deserves a worse fate that Patricia (or even perhaps Yolanda). After all, Valentina is her sister. Her cruelty is unfathomable.

When I first saw the medals, I assumed Adelaida's son is dead but after you explained the note was morse code (I had no idea what it said), perhaps there is hope...

I don't even want to speculate what was in that bag that was planted in the clothes. Ack.

We definitely need a little bit of light here...

El Toro is a nightmare on steroids. He needs to be locked up... in the same cell as Samuel so they can finish each other off.

I don't understand misogyny. If these men hate women so much why don't they just stay with each other and leave normal society alone?

SerJerk is becoming seriously unhinged. The scene with his lawyer was interesting but considering who the actor is I am certain SerJerk will persuade him into doing a few underhanded things to achieve the objective.

Dondi, no worries ! I am just so grateful for all the time and effort you spend bringing us your excellent , detailed recaps . Since I only have the visuals to go by and a few words that I understand , I have no idea what happened last night .

It's interesting that in this show Engin plays the husband who doesn't believe his wife was raped , but in Fatmagul ...well, it's complicated , isn't it ? I am starting to notice his consistent facial expressions ..delighted, playful, angry , and " I have had enough of you" He does certain things with his eyes and mouth for each emotion. When he smikes, his eyes smile.
He makes you feel that He really loves this woman or he really despises this guy ( or woman ..Meanie, Mukkaddes) I believe he really loves his little " daughter. " A good actor makes you forget he \she is acting .

Yes, Susanlynn— a good actor really does make you forget he’s acting….and Sancar/Engin is a great example of that. Its hard to believe he’s not totally in love with Nare in real life. He’s one of the best TN actors I’ve seen (and I have seen plenty!) Of course, as i have said other times on this patio, this incredibly exotic music boosts the intensity of these dramatic scenes.

Guven has to be one of the blandest characters in this novela. I guess he’s supposed to be monotonal and one-dimensional but its annoying.

Boy do I hate to see this end but I’m hoping for a 3rd temporada!!!
Of course, my sadness in seeing it end will be balanced by the joy i will feel by seeing Meanie and her Mom get their due!

I agree that this was quite a depressing episode.

Diana, I'm through with Miranda and Yuri too. Alicia is such a sweet considerate person, yet her daughters turned out to be more like Eva. They are still young and MIGHT change, but if this were RL, I would expect them to be just like Eva. How Alicia is managing to keep it together (as best she can) is impressive.

Nothing Sergio, Juleech and Eva do suprises me anymore. I haven't thoughy of any anvils yet, but I hope whatever it is, they get it where it hurts most.

Urban, "El Toro is a nightmare on steroids. He needs to be locked up... in the same cell as Samuel so they can finish each other off." I'm for that!!

Diana, "Cholo, Nelson and Bennie are the characters I'm holding onto for dear life." Me too; but I would add Luna.

My one and only favorite couple (Fabian and Rebeca) are the ones who bring me the most distress, but watching them together can only make me smile. I hope the writers give them ample time together and don't make us go through too much grief. Alzheimer's is a disease that has probably touched many of us in one way or another...just heartbreaking!

If this series is ending at 80 episodes we are only 33 away from the end. We still have too many secrets to uncover:

-- Nobody knows about Lucas yet. I am now wondering whether he actually is SerJerk's son. The DNA test results will take a few episodes and I am convinced that he is likely to not be his son. If that is the case, will SerJerk try to sue him for all the money he has handed to him and Prudencia all these years?
-- Nobody seems to know that Lucas has been embezzling money from the foundation. Alicia was getting close to the truth but is. It now in a position to find out any more.
-- Martin does not know that Carlota was Alicia's therapist / Alicia does not know that Carlota is Martin's ex. All hell will break loose when that bomb explodes.
-- Thus far only Gonzalo's former classmate knows about Fedora. That can't be hidden too much longer.
-- We are getting the first evidence that El Toro and Mujica are behind the death of Simon Guerra. Who will put these pieces together?

This feels like a house of cards.

You have 24 hours to vacate the mansion. The lawyer hands him the notice.

Yahya responds, are you serious? Vacate the mansion? You’re kidding, this is not true. It’s true, the lawyer replies, if you have not vacated the mansion in 24 hours, the police will remove you. Yahya throws the notice. He shouts, this is our house! Let them try. I’ll stay here bring whoever, we will not leave this house! Halise, Elvan and Gulsiye come running from the house.

Yahya wags his finger at the lawyer, tell Kahraman that this is the Efeoglu mansion, it is not his. A police officer steps in, don't cause problems, you already have the order. The attorney must serve you. What you do next is your problem. The men leave.

Yahya turns on Nare and shouts, did you see? Your dad reported Sancar and Kahraman takes over the mansion, what’s next? You're going to kill us? Halise faints and everyone rushes to her. Gulsiye goes to get water. Nare asks for calm and shouts instructions, Yahya come quickly and help us, Elvan stay with Melek.

Yahya comes over and he’s angry. He tells Nare, look at everything you've caused, and now you give orders. Elvan tells him to shut up and pick up his mother. Yahya complains about being told what to do. They load Halise into Yahya’s car. Nare gets into her car. The two cars leave the mansion.

There is a graveside service for Sahra with only two attending—Gediz and Muge. Gediz crouches down and grabs a handful of the dirt. Muge gets a call from Gulsiye, Halise was taken to the hospital. Muge tells Gediz and they leave.

Sancar meets with his lawyer. I hope you haven’t had problems, the lawyer says. Sancar replies, it doesn’t matter what happens to me, is my mother okay? Yes, the lawyer says, although your family is worried about you. The prosecutor prepared the accusation very quickly. You will have your hearing later.

And Sancar asks, what is my situation? The lawyer has bad news. I'm sorry, your situation is not good at all. The prosecutor has asked for life imprisonment. Sancar smiles at his fate and sighs, I'm going to stay here…

The lawyer outlines his plan of defense. If you allow me, he says, I will defend you based on all the bad things that Akin Baydar did. Sancar asks for clarification. The lawyer replies, if Sra. Nare testifies that Akin Baydar kidnapped her [in the original he says raped], your sentence could be reduced.

Sancar’s eyes bug and he becomes irate. [Turkish] What are you telling me? You want my daughter's mother to publicly explain what she suffered just to reduce my sentence? Do you want her to relive her suffering? Look, don't talk to her about this, alright? The lawyer tries to explain but Sancar immediately shuts him down with a threat—you listen to me. Don't you dare do something behind my back because I will kill you. It won't change my sentence, I already have a life sentence. So tell me, what are you going to do?

The lawyer agrees not to use this strategy. He asks if Sancar needs anything else. Sancar says he wants to see his loved ones—Zehra, Elvan, Yahya… and the ambassador’s daughter. The lawyer says he will arrange it after today’s hearing. Sancar is satisfied.

Gediz and Refika show up at the hospital. Refika asks, where is Halise? How is she? Nare answers, the doctor said she's stable. But if she doesn't get the bypass soon, it may be too late. Gediz asks why they haven’t done it yet. Zehra replies, she wants to see my brother. She wants to say goodbye.

Yahya is ticked at Gediz and asks, why are you involved in this? What do you get by putting on this ridiculous show? Gediz answers back, look Yahya, I’ll take my anger out on you. Refika jumps in, both of you get out of here if you are going to start arguing. This is not the place to be fighting. Halise must rest.

Embajador S2 #54 part 2

Gediz looks at Nare and says, the trial is about to begin, come on. My mother will stay to inform us. Refika says yes, and that Gulsiye is on her way. Yahya tells Kavruk to stay at the hospital with Halise. Kavruk objects but, Yahya orders him to obey.

The start of this scene was edited. Elvan brings Melek back to Nare’s house. Ceylan is already there. Melek asks why they came here. Elvan says they came so the very pregnant Ceylan wouldn’t be alone. Melek places her hand on Ceylan’s stomach and says, my brother was also supposed to be born, but he changed his mind and did not come to us. There is a knock at the gate and Elvan tells Ceylan and Melek to go into the house.

Elvan opens the door and it’s Dudu. Apparently you don't understand, Elvan says, what do you want Dudu? Dudu replies, what would I want from you? I only came for a couple of things that I forgot. How was I supposed to know you were here?

Elvan says, woman, be grateful that the girl is inside, or I would sweep the floor with you. I don't want to see you here, go! Dudu snaps back, who do you think you are to talk to me that way? Elvan gets in Dudu’s face and affirms, [Turkish] I am the legal wife of the man that you are dating. Did you forget?

Dudu snarky smiles, people say that love can't be bought, did you know? Elvan laughs it off. I don't care if Yahya loves me or not, I just want to torture him, and if you don't leave right now, I'll finish you off. Get out! Dudu responds, oh, I don't want to lower myself to your level. I will tell my dear Yahya that I want my things back.

Elvan asks Allah for patience. I hate her, please, give me patience. Elvan finds Melek standing in the yard. She thought her mother had arrived. Elvan hugs Melek, your mother will come, don't worry. She will bring us good news from your dad and your grandmother when she comes this afternoon. Melek gives Elvan a little kiss to the shoulder that cheers up Elvan.

Zehra, Yahya, Nare and Gediz are waiting at the courthouse. Zehra gets a call from the hospital. Halise is doing much better. Yahya directs his comment at Gediz, my mother has been very strong, in spite of everything that has happened. Gediz reacts, I'm going to kick your mouth shut. Nare intervenes. Further argument is put on hold when Sancar is brought in.

Nare rushes over, are you okay? Sancar looks around and asks, my mother? Did something bad happen to her, Nare? Nare lies, of course not. She stayed home, we didn’t want to worry her. We didn’t tell her the hearing would be today. Zehra chimes in, don't worry, brother. We are fine. Focus on the hearing. Everyone enters the courtroom.

Refika is trying to reason with Halise, why are you so stubborn? You worry us. The doctor recommended surgery, do it. That will be best. Feride says, she will not listen to you, Refika. She’s stubborn as a goat. Halise says to stop nagging, I already have enough problems. Gulsiye tell Halise, they are right, señora. The doctor said it, too. Issue your authorization for the surgery.

Halise is holding out, [Turkish] I'll be fine. I am not going to allow the operation until justice is done and I get my son’s blessing [helal olsun]. What if I don't make it out of the operating room? I want to see my son’s face when he is released. I'll have the operation later.

And that looks like it might not happen any time soon. The judge pronounces, the trial of Sancar Efeoglu will be postponed to another date. Due to the nature of the crime charged, the current evidentiary status and the strong suspicion of a crime, he will remain in custody. Sancar looks over at his family while he is cuffed. As he is led out of the room Sancar whispers to his lawyer, don't forget what I said.

Embajador S2 #54 part 3

Yahya asks the lawyer why he didn't put up a defense, The lawyer explains that this was only the arraignment, the defense will be at the next hearing. He adds, Sancar he told me he wants to see you. I spoke with the prosecutor, and he agreed to it. Nare tells them she will see Sancar later, she’s going to be busy. Yahya snipes, and what are you going to do, Nare? What trouble will you get us into now? The lawyer says that Sancar also wants to speak with Elvan. Yahya sends Zehra with the lawyer and he leaves to get Elvan.

Gediz asks Nare, why won't you go see Sancar? Nare responds, I have to get the video that my dad has to get Sancar out of prison. Gediz is on her wavelength. She asks him to call Muge and find out if Guven is at the marina. If he is, she says, then we will go to his hotel room. Gediz calls and Muge confirms that Guven is there. He’s meeting with Kahraman. She will keep them informed.

Guven is working on his laptop. We see a bank statement "withdrawal, $ 112 million USD." Guven tells Kman, we finally got the money. Kman wonders how he convinced Nare. Guven says, the prosecutor wants a life imprisonment (for Sancar). Kman asks, what is the connection? Guven smugly replies, if you could have made that connection, you could have had that money, partner. Kman is annoyed and says, you took the money. You locked up Sancar. To caesar what is caesar's. I want to hear what you are planning. What’s next?

Guven answers, you are going to give me the mansion. I'll pay you double its price, don't worry. Kman has no problem with that; he was going to sell it anyway. He asks Guven, what will you do with it? Guven replies, I will return it to the Efeoglu family. Kman says, have you gone crazy? You’re you going to buy the mansion I took from Sancar and give it back? Guven says, what's wrong with that? I will take the heart of that peasant. The mansion will become his grave when I’m done with him.

Elvan hurries to answer a knock at the gate. She thinks it’s Dudu returning but it is Yahya. She starts ranting at him. Did you bring Dudu back, she asks? Yahya asks, did Dudu come here? Elvan responds, she did, and without a hint of embarrassment. Elvan adds, apparently she wanted her teeth pulled, but I didn't want to. Yahya says, okay, I'll tell her not to come anymore. He tells her Sancar wants to see her, and he came to take her. Elvan is surprised, he wants to see me? Yes, get your things. Elvan hurries off.

Gediz stops a housekeeper at Guven’s hotel. [Turkish] Excuse me—my wife accidentally left the keys inside our room, and my wallet is inside. Would you mind helping us to open the door? The housekeeper obliges and the pair enter. Nare’s not happy about the “wife” bit. Gediz says, if you had a better idea….

They search Guven’s room and find a laptop. Of course, it is locked. Meanwhile, Nare receives a message from Guven and attached: "title deed to the Efeoglu mansion." Nare sighs, oh no, this man is a curse. She tells Gediz her father owns the mansion. Gediz says let’s take the laptop and hack it. They leave.

Zehra and Yahya meet with Sancar. Zehra rushes to hug her brother and she cries. Sancar tells her to be strong. The road is going to be complicated. If you cry like this every day, I won’t be able to rest. Sancar and Yahya hug.

Sancar asks them to sit. He smiles as he starts, you heard the prosecutor… my sentence will be life imprisonment. Yahya tries to speak but Sancar says, let me finish. We are siblings and also partners. I'm saying don’t get depressed because your brother will be in a cell. You have to work and be happy, because nothing is assured. Everything changes in seconds. You have to face the problems that life gives you. You will always have hope if you don't run away from them.

Sancar continues, I'm lucky. I have my little daughter, a mother, my brother, and my sister. I am a very lucky guy. [Turkish] if I complain, Allah will count it as a sin. So don’t complain either… you are also lucky.

Yahya says, we need you. Sancar replies, I will always be with you, understand? I will be far away, however, I will be in your hearts. I will take care of you. He instructs Yahya, you protect us from the outside. I'm going to protect you from my cell. We have to be strong. Convince Kahraman to give you back the mansion, rent it if necessary, brother.

Sancar thinks that Kman will leave them alone because he’s in prison. We will have to protect ourselves. I'm also going to ask the two of you to protect three more people…. Nare, Melek and Elvan. They were important to me when I was with you, and they will be important to me when I am gone. He tells Yahya, Elvan will stay at the mansion even if you divorce, okay? All residents will obey Halise Efeoglu and then you, Yahya.

Gediz is trying to hack Guven’s laptop. He’s tried a few passwords, Nare’s birthday, Melek’s birthday. They called an expert and he’s on the way but in the meantime, Gediz says he will continue trying. Nare has an idea: 112684. It’s Akin’s birthday. And they are in.

Gediz opens a folder that says "Sancar". Up pops a video from Guven: “did you think I would be so careless to leave the video in the hotel room? Give up now. You will not be able to stop me. If you don't want me to evict the Efeoglus and you want Sancar out of prison, you both know my request.”

Gediz tosses the laptop. He made fun of us with that stupid video, Nare! Nare adds, he purposely put Akin's date of birth! That maldito knows very well how to make me suffer! Gediz says, I thought my dad was bad, but yours is a damned psycho. Nare gathers her stuff to go. Gediz asks, what will you do? Nare says, I'll go see Sancar, or I will not be able to be calm.

Elvan sits with Sancar. She immediately tells him, you know anything you say will be greatly appreciated. But I don’t want you to be worried for me. Sancar replies, so if you don't want me to be worried, stay in the mansion. I don't know how you will end up with Yahya and I won’t interfere, but I don’t want to talk to you about that. You are proud and that will help you get ahead. You are also stubborn, maybe that's why you get along so well with the alaca kuş. He laughs. Elvan says, you're not much different, and they both laugh.

Sancar tells her, I left money with Nedim. Open your business with that money. Elvan says, she can't accept it. Sancar says, it’s already done, you must accept it. Elvan, it's for you, did you hear? Come closer, give me a hug. You will see everything will be fine. Elvan sobs in Sancar’s arms and says, I hope so.

Muge enters Gediz’ room. It’s a mess. What happened Gediz? Gediz replies, exhausted, it was a pitched battle… and this is the result. They have defeated us, Muge. It's over. Muge asks for an explanation and Gediz asks, as a sister or as a psychologist? Like a sister, she says.

Gediz explains that bastard Guven has cornered us, Nare and me. He sips a glass of whiskey. To rescue Sancar, he gave us a proposal. Muge asks, what do you have to do? Gediz replies, we must get married. Muge is stunned. Gediz tells her, pour yourself some whiskey, fill your glass. Sit and watch Sancar rot in prison while being innocent.

Muge thinks they should accept the offer. Gediz mocks, why didn’t we think of that wonderful idea before? Sure, sister, Nare will be my wife, both of us living here and Sancar married to another woman. They will visit us, the four of us having dinner together. How civilized. Why not?

Muge responds, don't tell me it’s impossible. Time heals everything. People do things they always said they would never do, and then they end up doing it. People get used to it. Gediz answers sarcastically and shakes his sister’s hand, thank you very much, doctor. What a beautiful speech, thank you.

Muge says she is serious. Maybe it's the best for everyone. Have you ever thought about it? [what?! of course he has]. Maybe Nare will be happier with you. You and Sancar fought for her, don't forget. [oh, we haven’t forgotten] Maybe you need to give yourselves a chance. Take advantage of it, brother. [is this the same Muge that warned him time and again to stay away from Nare?]

Gediz replies, why does abandoning Sancar hurt so much, sister? Muge answers, well, he was your friend, and it's not easy to quit. Gediz says, you finally understand. I thought it would be easy, he laments, but it's not. Guven and Kahraman have the power. Muge says, then what are you waiting for? Get that power back, brother. Do what is necessary.

Sancar’s lawyer enters the room. Sancar asks, Nare didn’t come? The lawyer says, she is on her way, but we can't stay here. The director is starting to get angry, he said we have to leave. The only way to do this now is by a video call. Sancar doesn't like the idea, it’s not the same as in person. The lawyer realizes that, but an exception was already made for him. There’s no time left.

Sancar asks his lawyer to set up the call. Nare is driving and pulls over to take it.
Nare asks if Sancar is okay. He replies, it would be better if you were here, ambassador’s daughter. Nare says, I'll tell you before you ask, Melek is fine. When the lawyer arranges a visit, we will come together. Sancar doesn't want Melek to come. He doesn’t want his daughter to see him like this. Nare says if Melek can’t see him, she will be sad.

Sancar sighs, yeah, that’s right… you are the one who decides, and we obey… yes, now I remember. Nare says, uh… I’ll tell you we lost the mansion, too. Sancar says, calm down. Forget the mansion. Don’t worry. We’ll solve it. They haven’t been evicted yet. Yahya and Zehra will figure it out.

Nare tries to speak but Sancar talks over her… they are going to take care of it. Let me enjoy you, okay? Wow, your eyes shine when you smile, he tells her. They are resplendent. Sometimes they shine, they don't always. Nare looks away, that’s enough. Sancar asks, just look at me. Nare, you are very beautiful, you know? Not only your face is beautiful, but the inside. I am very lucky to have you. I'm going to ask you for a favor—don’t take the blame. I always want to be the sparkle in your eyes.

Sancar laughs at himself. As people say, "everything is fine for a lunatic and for a prisoner." And since I'm both-- I think I got carried away, sorry. If you were with me, maybe I wouldn't have been so frank. This is great.

Nare says, yesterday they mentioned life imprisonment. When I heard that, I felt like I couldn’t breathe. You said to forget, but apparently whenever I enter your life, I only bring you misfortune. Sancar stops her, hey, don't start with your pessimism again. You will make me angry. Nare says okay. I was thinking this could save you… I know you are protecting Kavruk, but ...if you say that he hid it--

Ambassador’s daughter, will you wait for me? He waits for the answer. She replies, Nare will always wait for you, but you're right, Sancar Efe, nobody knows what the sefirin kızı will do. [doesn’t sound good, right?] The lawyer interrupts, we have to hang up.

Yahya brings Elvan to the hospital. She wants to speak with Halise alone. Yahya asks, I know you love my mother a lot, please convince her. Tell her to have the surgery, okay? Good grief! Dudu shows up at the hospital! [I’d like to smack the smug right off her face!] Elvan tells Yahya, don’t talk about the love I have for my MIL. That's none of your business.

Yahya is ticked at Dudu and he asks her, why did you come to the hospital? Dudu replies, I went to look for things for the house, and I also wanted to see you. Elvan starts to walk away but stops to watch. Yahya says, do you want me to go crazy? My mother is fighting for her life, and you talk about shopping? And this morning you went to Elvan. Are you trying to annoy her? What's happening with you? Dudu shoots back, you know perfectly well what I'm looking for, Yahya.

Ceylan brings her phone to Melek, your mother wants to talk to you. Melek asks, mom, where are you? She tells her mom she is sad and asks, how is dad? I want to see him. Nare tells her daughter don’t be sad, you will see your dad tomorrow.

Melek asks, will he return to the mansion? Unfortunately, Melek, not yet. Melek begs her mom, you have to save him. Do it, mom. Everything is strange. You're not here, dad is not here, where is everyone? I want to be with you wherever you are. Take me to my father. Do they take children in prison? Will I be able to sleep there? I want to be by his side, understand? Please understand. [this is so sad]

Nare asks, are you mad at me? You're right, baby. I've left you alone, but I promise I'll pick you up when I'm done. We can make a list of visiting days with your father. Nare suggests that Melek draw a picture for her father to show her love. They may not allow you to stay to sleep there, Nare says, but we can give him the beautiful drawing you made, what do you say?

Melek thinks it’s a good idea. She says, I will draw a picture from when we went swimming and had fun on the beach. Dad will carry me, and you will be a mermaid. We will be very happy. What fools. You’re better as a romantic comedy, my dear. Nare says, you'll pay for this someday. My mother couldn’t do it, however, I can.

Guven replies, ah, little Nare. You always believed that you are like your mother, but you are like me. You've always been like me. As I said, when all this circus is over, you will immediately look for dad to help you. He hangs up on her. Nare sighs.

Guven says to himself, oh, poor Nare. He makes a call to Riza Cezaevi, the shady guy in prison with Sancar. Look what you force me to do, daughter.

And we are out.

Diana, I was pleasantly surprised that they are dealing with Facundo’s struggle with alcoholism and its collateral damage in his family as intensely as they are. It isn’t pleasant but much closer to reality. Perfect: “. . . both Yuri and Miranda . . . are proving they are Eva’s granddaughters.” Yuri was so openly dismissive of Alicia it was pathetic. I agree they are both cruel to her. Let both of them see what their daddy dearest can give them when Julieta comes first. I join you in giving a big thumbs up to Cholo, Bennie and Nelson and will add Luna to that list as suggested by RgvChick.

Urban, thank you, for bringing up the C word: consent. Let us hope Diego had some protection on hand so there isn’t a pregnant Miranda thrown in this untenable mix. I am counting on Julieta making the first faux pas or the police coming to arrest her. I cannot see the writers wasting time on setting her up for a DUI earlier without finishing that story. Great comment on misogyny. I think that these men just want sex and kids and for them UNFORTUNATELY women have to be involved. Toro and Samuel in the same cell would be a dream come true! Thanks for summarizing all of the loose ends. I am happy we have a limited number of episodes left so the writers will have to keep on track.

RgvChick, ITA that the Fabián and Rebeca plot is the most depressing but also the most fulfilling seeing how much they love each other. I also hope that we see more good times for them and maybe a very slow progression of her disease. Yes, Alicia is between a rock and a hard place. I am eagerly awaiting for something to go her way.

Is our balance really going to prison ? Are Gediz and Nare going to have a fake wedding to trick Guven whose raison d 'etre is making San suffer in every way possible . I really hate that old guy.

P.s. I always thought Kavruk was a first name , but now we know his first name is Omer.

This was a sad episode. Melek is killing me here. Her chemistry with Sancar is so real.

While everyone is at the Jail or the hospital is Gulsye the only one packing up? Dudu with Kman’s backing has worked her way up the ladder nicely. I’d love to see Yahya grow a spine and stand up to her, come on she can’t be “that good” that he’s willing to outright sell his soul for her. Such a wimpy jerk.. Elvian with all her faults is still the “go to” person for all the family…and she’s worth a thousand Yahyas.

We did see Miranda telling him she wanted this, but her getting up so quickly and getting dressed even faster that I have to wonder about Buyer's Remorse. She said nothing about any of this and I am predicting she won't tell anyone, even Yuri. If she regrets this in any way SerJerk will go on the warpath. This is all he would need to ruin Alicia for good and he would pay a hitman to go after Diego. He is just enough of a patriarchal jackass to make a big deal about "purity" and blame Alicia for this.

Of course, he could also have a cardiac event...

Are they going to drop the Kman sister storyline. I was trying ot figure out who she is? I hope it's not a new character! If it's someone we have seen/are already seeing, the only one who has no known parents (I think) is Elvan. Could Elvan be the sister?? That would really be a very interesting twist!

Susanlynn, you’re right, it took quite a while to find out Kavruk’s first name. Sancar’s life is in danger again and all of a sudden Gediz has a “get out of jail, free”, card.
Dudu is indeed the new villainess.

I kinda enjoyed “wimpy jerk” and “dim weasel” Yahya dropping those little barbs on Nare. He couldn’t / wouldn’t have if Sancar was around. The look on Yahya’s face when Sancar told him Elvan stays in the mansion, he had to keep his mouth shut.

SaraAnne, “is Gulsye the only one packing up?” —lol. Sancar thinks Gulsiye won’t have to pack. We shall see. And Elvan is truly “worth a thousand Yahyas.” I’m glad that Sancar values her.

Rgv Chick, remember at the beginning when they wanted us to hate Sancar? And I think Muge is one of the worst written characters on the show. Although right now I’m getting a kick out of her interaction with Kman. The other badly written character, IMHO, is Zehra, and I don’t care for the actress who plays her either.

AMOT, I’m hoping we get official word on the 3ra temporada soon.

Interesting observation between Kerim and Sancar, Susanlynn. I’m familiar with Engin’s “signature” moves, too. I agree that Engin makes you forget he’s acting, especially when he has an equally talented acting partner. To this day, KPA (Black Money Love) viewers talk about how “real life” the Engin/Tuba match seemed.
