DEJAN – Ep. 65, Part 1

Alicia and Martin make out in the jail cell. Alicia was going crazy outside and no one would have been able to make her leave. She was distraught when she thought he didn’t love her anymore. When she brings up Sergio, Martin would prefer not to talk about it (he prefers to vacuum seal her mouth). Martin asks how she was able to go in to see him, so Alicia tells him that Mabe got them to let her in.

Out in the waiting area, Carlota complains that she was not able to go inside to see Martin but Alicia went in.

At the park, Gonzo hugs Lorena while Samuel is put in the bag. Gutierrez assures Karina that she did what she had to do.

At Casa Carranza, Yuri appreciates Julieta being so understanding (Oh Yuri…no naïve!!). Julieta tells her that this is Cholo’s opportunity to tell his side of the story. When she suggests that they do the interview at her apartment, Yuri tells her that Cholo can’t go out since there is a patrol car outside. Julieta assures them that she will take care of it but Cholo will not be able to stay at her apartment.

Sergio calls Mujica who tells him that he won’t be able to do much more since Mabe has intervened. Mujica then tells Sergio that Martin also has a lawyer—Yuri!!

Julieta calls Chiquis and orders her to make arrangements for the interview at her apartment…but Sergio must not find out about it, Meanwhile, Cholo complains that he is uncomfortable with what Julieta wants to do. Yuri understands and agrees but they have no other choice…they are in Julieta’s hands. She assures Cholo that she will be with him.

Alicia sees Gonzo and company at the police station so they tell her about Samuel. Karina approaches and tells Gonzo that they will need his statement.

Mabe goes in to see Martin and tells him that she threatened Mujica with the media. She will also get some lawyers since Sergio will probably take advantage of Yuri’s inexperience.

Sofi sees Carlota and Fabian who tell her that they are together because Fabian took Carlota to see her father. Sofi asks if he will go have lunch with them and Fabian agrees.

Julieta and Yuri are arguing about how to get Cholo out when Miranda approaches. Miranda wonders what they were talking about since it seemed like they were planning a robbery. When Miranda asks for a ride to the pharmacy, Yuri tells her that she can’t because they have something important to do.

As Julieta and Yuri rush Cholo into the trunk of Julieta’s car, Sergio arrives and chides Yuri for taking on Martin’s case. Though Yuri tells Sergio that she knows that they need to talk but she doesn’t have time right now, Sergio orders her into the house. Julieta tells her to stay and resolve things since the other issue can wait.

Quique gets a call from Marcela who asks him to go pick up his sister. Quique, who is watching TV, tells her that he is busy. Eva eavesdrops as Marcela tells him that she already knows that he was in jail and orders him to go for his sister. She adds that if he continues the way he is and tries to be like his father…he will end up dead.

 

DEJAN – Ep. 65, Part 2

Fabian arrives home and tells Rebeca that he talked to Francisco. When she tells him that she hasn’t talked to Frank in long time, he reminds her that she talked to him today. Fabian tells her that Frank misses her….and he told him the truth. Rebeca gets upset since she didn’t want Frank to know. Fabian argues that Frank has a right to know…and it is important to have someone there at home to be with her and help her.

At a restaurant, Sofi frowns as she watches Fabian smoke—something she doesn’t think is very attractive. After they talk about addictive things, Sofi tells Fabian that her father always considers him his guardian angel. After Sofi leaves, Fabian notes that Carlota is uncomfortable. Carlota admits that she is…because they had such a good time….and they might want to do it again.

Mujica rakes Gutierrez and Karina over the coals for killing Samuel. He thinks that the media will accuse them of using excessive force and suspends Karina until there is an investigation.

Gonzo wonders how long they will be kept there at the police station, When Fedora grabs Gonzo’s hand, Lorena has a jealous fit; so Fedora assures her that there is nothing between her and Gonzo, but Lorena continues her rant. Gonzo assures Lorena that it is she whom he loves, but Lorena isn’t listening…and is still upset. When Karina comes out and tells them that she has been suspended. Fedora goes in to talk to Mujica. She asks why Karina is being suspended if she was only saving lives. When she asks if it may have to do with Karina being a woman, Mujica snarls that Karin did not follow procedures and must be investigated. When Fedora argues, Mujica asks her to leave, but Fedora threatens that she will go to the media and tell them that he is defending the criminals…and probably an abuser of woman.

Julieta is rushing to her apartment when the cops see her speeding by and give chase. When she stops and the cops approach, Julieta gives them a big smile and asks what happened. They tell her that she was speeding; so Julieta tells them that she had an emergency and didn’t notice. They then ask her to open the trunk!! When Julieta tells them that she had a call from the news station, the cop recognizes her and forgets about checking the trunk…they take selfies instead.

At Casa Carranza, Sergio chews out Yuri since sheis defending a criminal who assaulted him twice! When Yuri tells him that what he is doing isn’t very decent, Sergio refuses to argue with her and forbids her from defending Martin. Yuri understands why he is upset. When Sergio accuses Alicia of putting her up to it, Yuri admits that it was her idea. Sergio tells her to be careful, she doesn’t want him as an enemy.

Lucas goes to see Jorge, but Moises intervenes and asks to talk to him. Moises tries to tell him about the conflict of interest, but Lucas argues that is why he asked for Jorge. As they talk, Jorge approaches and asks Lucas to wait for him in the conference room since he has to talk to his colleague. Moises tells Jorge that Lucas can’t be trusted but Jorge counters that what Moises is trying to do is unethical…and now, more than ever, Jorge is sure he should continue with the case.

Karina goes in to see Martina and tells him that she doesn’t know what his friend did, but Mujica lifted the “no visitations” order. After she tells him about being suspended and the incident with Samuel, she regrets not being able to be there close to him…but he will have several women coming to see him….since he is the heartbreaker he has always been.

 

DEJAN – Ep. 65, Part 3

Miranda is playing a video game with Culebra when Sergio comes in and tears into her for being on the computer. He yells at her that she will return to school and if she is bullied she is to defend herself!! When Miranda tells him that he is taking out his anger for Yuri on her, Sergio yells that she will not talk to him like that…he is not like her mother who let her do whatever she wanted. Sergio then turns on Culebra and tells him to stay away from Miranda or he will file a complaint for assault.

At Fedora’s house, Alicia wonders how Marcela made so many changes in the house so quickly. After Marcela tells her that she was raised to be a hard worker, Marcela asks Alicia if she can bring Luna over to see her; Alicia likes the idea. Eva then approaches and takes Alicia to talk to her. Eva tells Alicia that she needs to fire Marcela because she overheard Marcela talking to one of her many children that she probably has and the kid is a criminal! The woman’s family is dangerous and they may end up robbed…or even dead! After Eva continues spewing her stupidities, Alicia tells her to stop ….Marcela is a a good, decent woman who is only trying to support her family…and Eva should stop accusing a woman who is innocent. Alicia has too many other things to worry about…like looking for a job..

Julieta gets to her apartment. After she gives Chiquis some orders, Julieta tells her that she is not to go inside her apartment. Julieta then goes in to interview Cholo and tells him to calm down…this it the time to talk about his innocence.

Miranda calls Alicia and tells her that her father yelled at her and told her that she was worthless. She wonders why Alicia isn’t there with her and thinks that it is all her fault.

Julieta starts recording her interview. During a break, she asks Cholo to tell her the truth . After she lists all the things he is being accused of, Cholo tells her that none of those things are true. When she asks about Simon’s medallion that was among his things, Cholo remains quiet. After Cholo asks for Yuri since she hasn’t arrived yet, Julieta asks him to tell her about his escape…and what relationship he has with his ex-lawyer. Outside Chiquis, calls the number that Julieta ordered her to call.

Alicia arrives to see Miranda . After Alicia hugs and kisses her Sergio approaches and ask her what sheis doing there. Alicia tells him that Miranda was in tears when she called her…Miranda needs her. He will have to kill her to separate her from her daughter. When Sergio wonders why she is always going against him, Alicia refuses to argue with him especially in front of her daughter. When Alicia adds that she is no longer afraid of him, Sergio snarls that he is fed up with her playing the victim and getting his children against him. She misled Gonzo; she has turned Miranda into an insecure baby and pit Yuri against him. When he adds that Alicia is the worst mother that his kids could have, Alicia gives him a well-deserved slap!!

At Julieta’s apartment, the interview has concluded. Cholo wonders what will happen next. Yuri calls Julieta and tells Julieta that she is about to arrive. Julieta tells her that they have finished and will wait for her there. Cholo wonders why Julieta asked about his relationship with Yuri, so Julieta explains that people love everything that has to do emotions…it will only help him. Suddenly there is a knock on the door. Cholo rushes to open the door since he thinks it’s Yuri, but he sees the unsightly Mujica who tells him, ”Good day, sooner or later, we were going to catch you!”

And so the episode ends!!

Rgv Chick, smart, savvy and sensational. “Eva continues spewing her stupidities” had me smiling away and nodding in vigorous agreement. Extremely well written (as always) with your wry humor and wit evident at every turn.

Loved “unsightly Mujica”. Indeed!

Perhaps it is a bit too early for Sergio to covet that father of the year award. “Sergio tells her to be careful, she doesn’t want him as an enemy” Threatening your eldest daughter, who (inexplicably) adores you, squealing at the mere sight of you??? Screaming at Miranda and threatening to charge Culebra with assault were acts just as egregious. Finally, berating Miranda that “if she is bullied she is to defend herself!!” As Sergio is a practiced abuser and a master of intimidation himself, he should know that bullying only works on the powerless, those who cannot defend themselves, those who are numbed mentally so they cannot retort or react.

“When she brings up Sergio, Martin would prefer not to talk about it (he prefers to vacuum seal her mouth)” was great. I thought the make out scene was a bit overlong and overdone for a prison but hey, whatevs!

Too bad Fedora wasn’t able to channel any of her magnificent, righteous anger at Samuel. But at least he is out of the picture. Also, I don’t care what Gonzalo says to Lorena, he doesn’t love her enough. She knows it, we know it and he know it but just won’t admit it.

The writers have thrown another unexpected curveball. When Julieta was pulled over I thought, OK now they will run her license and find those pending DUI charges. Nopis. No such luck - she gets off scott free.

I admit I don’t get it. Did Julieta serve Cholo to the police on a silver platter so he wouldn’t be found in Sergio’s house and therefore she’d get in his good graces? Did she do it to get in the police’s good graces? Both? How does she expect to get any kind of story from Cholo now???

When the hell is anyone going to tell SerJerk that Gonzalo and Yuri are adults and he can't boss them around anymore? And what he did to Miranda was disgusting.

Eva is still on her nasty roll and still nobody knows where her money has been going.

Juleech is still true to form.

And good for Fedora that she let Mujica have it.

I was so surprised Julieta called the cops, and then I was like why am I surprised?? I wonder if Martin and Cholo will share a jail cell?? I also wonder just how much Cholo actually said in that interview....

I find it odd that the police were still watching Yuri's house 24/7, it's been weeks right? They probably should have given up by now they certainly weren't the dogged about finding Samuel.

Well maybe something good will come from Julieta's double cross and the national news attention will keep Cholo alive! Also might save Yuri since there's no proof she was involved in hiding him now.

You're right Yuri is naive, is she naive enough to believe the cops just spotted Cholo coming in the building or something like that and not know Julieta double crossed her? I think she is...

Sergio is scum!! He's not even going to pay lip service to the idea of helping Miranda huh? Not surprised. Threatening one daughter with you don't want me as an enemy and then screaming at the emotionally vulnerable one while threatening her only friend....... reprehensible.

Thank God Samuel is dead! No intensive care, no drawn out hospital recovery just a black corners bag.

The actor playing Jorge is another one who should have gotten more screentime.

Also I thought it was interesting that every word out of Sophie's mouth was about Martin. I wonder if that is just a little girl worried about her daddy and preoccupied with him, or if she suspected something was going on between her mom and Diablo so she kept bringing up daddy and what a good friend he was to Diablo.

Thank you Julieta. Your recap was outstanding. Julieta “naïve”. Yes! Indeedy do!

Diana, I was also hoping that Julieta was going to get slammed with the drunk driving charges. . . But again she was able to make her way out of a speeding ticket with her celebrity. Maybe there is a lesson here . . . that we the public knows anyway. I still want to see her slammed for that drunk driving charge. You are right that Gonzo doesn’t love Lorena enough. There isn’t any passion there.

Urban, I think it is a matter of Gonzo and Yuri still living under Sergio’s roof and eating his food no matter what the age. If they want true FREEDOM!!!!! (like William Wallace LOL) they need to move out and pay their own way. ITA Sergio was “disgusting” with Miranda. What has surprised me is how, up to now, Miranda (and Yuri to a certain degree) has followed her father’s orders and still “adored” him when she would have thrown a tantrum with her mother.

BEST scene last night was seeing them zip up the body bag with Samuel dead and gone inside.

SECOND best scene: Yuri standing up to Daddy dearest. It was about time.

I couldn’t believe how quickly Mujica acted to get Karina suspended and now no where near the Simón murder case.

It was so enjoyable seeing Jorge refuse to turn down Lucas’ case no matter what Moisés said and asking him if he really was that afraid of Sergio.

Eva was as obnoxious as ever. The woman needs a job to keep her busy mind and body.

No surprise that Julieta got rid of Cholo when she was done with him, but is she really? What will she tell Yuri? Should be a good one tonight.

Darcy, Yes, we can hope that maybe Julieta has some greater plan to help Cholo and Julieta out. The novela has surprised me more than once, so why not?

Jarifa, I hadn't realized Julieta HAD conducted the interview before the police arrived. Thank you for noting she "got rid of cholo when she was done".

Who knows if Julieta has anything other than furthering her own ambitions rattling around in that devilish little brain. What's her excuse for Cholo being there? He called her to "talk"?

And yes, when the door opened and Karina wasn't there, it was a bit of a start. Mujica did move really fast.

And Jorge is not only a dreamboat but an ethical one!

UA, Sergio continues to nauseate.

Darcy, very interesting comment that Sofi might have known exactly what was going on. She is a smart girl but unfortunately way too involved in dissecting her parents personal lives. She needs to begin to lead her own life.

Ok..I am willing 2 believe Sergio is the worst Father ever. But this is just dragging on. And nearly all of it is so predictable. Yes Miranda was severely depressed from the start, Yuri was a daddies girl ad nausem. Everyone involved in this non ranchero suck fest..makes incredibly poor decisions. Alicia's spirit animal was June Cleaver. She shoulda drug mama's ass down to the Mexico city bus station and packed her off in one of those buses like I saw years ago where people had chickens and other goodies. The bus would be belching huge blue clouds of diesel. Martin while a stand up guy

Diana, I too thought that Martín’s and Alicia’s display of affection was way too long and so inappropriate under those circumstances…but then it’s not the first time is it?

And OMGoodness, can Sergio be any more of a jerk than he already is?? I expected his tirade with Yuri but his behavior toward Miranda was disgusting and reprehensible. His anvil needs to include being banished from the family along with total humiliation in the public’s eye…and his prestigious award being retracted.

Darcy, I was not surprised at all that Julieta turned in Cholo. All she wanted was the interview which will bring her fame, not only for the interview itself, but for doing what the cops have not been able to do…catch Cholo and return him to prison. I don’t think she’ll even bother to give Yuri any kind of explanation.

Urban, I enjoy anyone letting Mujica have it; unfortunately he never seems to be phased…with the exception of Mabe who threatened him with the media.

Jarifa , I have been pleasantly surprised with Jorge. I agree with Darcy, he has been underused. And totally agree with Diana…a dreamboat and ethical…great combination!

Darcy, great observation about Sofi talking so much about her daddy. I hadn’t thought of it, but now that you mention it, yes, she was probably slyly driving that wedge in. Smart girl, but she really needs to face reality.

I will be very angry with the writers if after all the trouble taken to paint Juleech as the bitch we despise they give her an about-face in the ultimos capitulos. It is simply not believable on any planet. If Cholo is saved by the interview Juleech will take credit for it, guaranteed.

But this is possible, since we didn't get to hear what was said. I hope this doesn't take the whole rest of the remaining episodes.

Alicia still needs to find out what happened to her necklace and that Eva has a gambling addiction. When she does she should kick Eva out. She is responsible for at least half of Alicia's suffering in the last few years and more going back to her youth. Can you imagine what a nightmare Eva was when Alicia was Miranda's age?

At least Fedora can sleep at night. She should avoid men for a while. And no, I don't want to see her with Gonzalo. Sexual chemistry is not enough to sustain a relationship.

Chick...thank you so much for another rocking recap as the bad guys spiral down even further than we could have imagined so vicious and totally unfeeling of other people . The actors playing Serg and Jul are doing an outstanding job of making us despise them .

It will be interesting when Serg realizes that Jul is ready to step right on and over him to climb the ladder to stardom and success. She will toss him out as quickly and easily as she had Yaya put everything Alicia into a plastic garbage bag. This girl acts confidently and efficiently and takes no prisoners ..except sweet, unlucky Cholo. Serg and Jul have just been using each other to get what they want .

And Jorge....yes, I have noticed Jorge ...the most attractive guy in this show but with only a few lines . Love this character because I have always been a fan of " ethical dream boats "....always my type. I think this actor is galan material . I hope we get to see him in future tns. He remind me of mi telenovio Marcelo Cordoba , who seems to have disappeared along with Big Ed Yanez and TBLMOE.

Urban mentioned that the Jul actress was in Medicos. I don't remember her in that show . What character did she play ?

Both Yuri (Cinthia) and Julieta (Tania) were in Medicos. Julieta's character had an affair with Rafael (Federico Ayos) who loved Cinthia. She tried to come between them but in the end knew she had lost and bowed out so they could be together.

Is the ethical dreamboat going to save Cholo...and Yuri ....somehow? Someone has to reveal that Mujica is a corrupt cop...but who? Martin has never seemed to be a go getter in investigating his brothers murder , and he definitely got very distracted in his heated , teenage spirit pursuit of Alicia .Facunda was relentless in trying to find his son's killer until he started drinking .We need a team to bring down awful , cocky Mujica...Facunda, Martin , Karina, and maybe Mabe , who has seemed to be on his case lately since Martin was jailed . Hey, you know who could get the goods and expose Mujica....the overconfident, relentless Julieta !!!

Diana: Sergio must be like the most powerful TV News Anchor in Mexico & the wielding of political influence he must have throughout the entire country is OMG. Maybe Tyler Perry should consider doing a spinoff called "Tyler Perry's Los Pinos" starring Alexis Ayala as the corrupt President of Mexico: just a suggestion LOL.

UA: Yuri, Yuri, Yuri: that girl is too damn naive to believe Crazy Julieta's lies of "helping" Cholo out when we all KNEW Mujica & Gutierrez (I think Gutierrez is dirty somehow, but cannot put my finger on it yet) were going to arrest Cholo on the spot.

I do believe Fedora should NOT be with any guy forever after her experience with Creepy Samuel (Braulio from Telemundo's "La Dona"). It's looking like Gonzalo might end up with Lorena after all UGH.

Susanlynn: Jackass Sergio yelling & scolding Miranda like that made me CRINGE, I wanted to punch that jackass so bad.


 

TU AMOR ep 96 part 1

Valentina makes the point that it would be horrible for Claudio to marry Nora to save the orphanage. She tells him that it would kill her. Claudio somehow keeps a straight face, knowing Val married Ricardo to save her sister. They agree they have to figure out how to save the orphanage.

Hector gets into it with Leonardo as he is leaving Consuelo's house. Did you do something to Helena or Mother?, Leo asks. You should be thinking about Mina. Hector warns him not to butt in. He's in a hurry but will come back for his daughter. He asks them to take care of her and doesn't let Camila hug him. He's just having a tantrum mom, says Leonardo. I love you mucho. Why don't you cook me something? In her room later, Camila feels sick and has to throw up.

Adelaida tells Guillermos that it's craziness to withdraw support from the orphanage until Claudio marries Nora. I don't care, he says. No imbecile is going to toy with my daughter. He'll find out what I'm capable of. Are you capable of leaving those poor children helpless?, she asks. One of them is very ill. Yes, he says. I'm capable. Putting your stupid pride ahead of the life of a child?, Adelaida asks. What sort of person with no scruples would leave an innocent child to fend for themselves? You did it yourself, he claims, receiving a slap. I'm going to pretend that didn't happen, he says threateningly, after Adelaida apologizes. I won't allow Nora's honor to be stained.

Majo seems to be awake as doctor Rosa Maria examens her in her room. She tells Majo to relax, that she's going to be OK. Rosa Maria gets called to surgery. It's an emergency. I'll be right back, she says. Majo tries to form words. Leonardo, she barely whispers. He caused my accident. The nurse hears this clearly. She tells Majo to stay calm and checks the monitors as Majo falls asleep.

Regino comes to Horacio's booth to demand he pay protection money. Horacio says he told him never to come there. This is my barrio, says Regino, I'll come here whenever I feel like it. There's only room for one of us in this barrio, says Horacio. Whatever you want , says Regino pulling out his knife dangerously close to Helena. Horacio pulls a gun as Helena grabs for Regino's knife hand. Her hand is cut as he pulls away. Horacio sends some cops after him and tells them to bring him some alcohol for the cut. Leonardo miraculously shows up to express his concern for Helena.

Valentina goes to Guillermo's house to confront her sister. What's happened to you?, she asks. Who's changed you? Have some humanity. You can't do this to those defenseless orphans. If they were so good, Nora says, they wouldn't have been dumped at an orphanage. I won't let anyone stand in the way of getting what I want. Why should they matter to me? I come first, she says and goes upstairs. Arcadio, the driver, tells Valentina that Nora ordered him to bring Claudio to her room. He was almost passed out. I'm really sorry, he says.

Guillermo calls Enrique to his office. He's received an offer for his ranch. I got an offer too, Enrique says, and the buyer will pay in cash. I'd have to report it to the tax authorities, says Guillermo. That would only cause more problems. Enrique has an idea. It involves transferring the ranch to someone not a direct relative. Guillermo would only pay taxes on the transfer. He'd still get the cash somehow. Enrique suggests Patricia. Guillermo looks doubtful. I hope you've checked the buyer this time, he says. I don't like giving second chances.
 

TU AMOR ep 96 part 2

Camila tells her mother to try to understand Hector. He's an adult and needs his space. Consuelo discovers more candy wrappers in the cushions and realizes they're not from Mina. Her suspicions are confirmed when she finds more wrappers hidden at Horacio's. She tells Claudio that it must be Helena. He tells her about Helena's previous weight problem which caused her to be prediabetic. Horacio brings Helena back from the clinic with a bandaged hand. Leo comes too and tries to get her to stay at his apartment.

Beba and Uriel are having desert and coffee at a restaurant. How could that paparazzi ask us to help him beat up Hector?, she asks. There has to be another way to get the video. We're not criminals. Besides, the idea is to hurt Yolanda, not Consuelo's family. So what are we going to do?, asks Uriel.

Hector is on the phone at Patricia's trying to get his car fixed when she comes in dressed for bed. Sit down, she says. Relax. We'll drink something to reduce the stress. I'll serve, he offers. You're kind of under dressed. Sorry, says Pat. It's all I have for sleeping. Do I look bad? No, he says, you look very good. Here, take your wine. Pat tries to flirt but is interrupted by the doorbell. It's Ricardo and he wants to talk to her about Valentina. Hector leaves so they can talk. You don't waste any time, do you sister?, he asks. Hector has you well entertained. He receives a slap for that. It's a shame I ruined your plans, but I'm not leaving without knowing the truth. Before I tell you the truth, Pat says, tell me what you were talking to Almeida about.

Good evening, Yolanda says to the detective and Regino in her office. Regino tries to shake her hand but she gets right down to business. Did Leonardo send you to harm Sara Eva?, she asks. That depends, he says. For the right amount I could tell you whether he did or not. She hands him an envelope full of money. I want you to do the same to Leonardo that he did to Sara Eva, she says. You want me to bust his leg?, Regino asks. Of course not, says Yolanda. I only want to see him suffer. I want you to break his sister Camila's leg. That could get me in a lot of trouble, says Regino. Not only is she Leonardo's sister but she's well loved in the barrio. It will provoke their wrath against me, not to mention Horacio. Drop the pretexts, says Yolanda. Here's some more money. You'll get even more when you do what I ask. Let me think about it, he says. You have one day, says Yolanda.

Samara brings Majo's nurse to Rosa Maria's office. You won't believe what happened, she says. I clearly heard her say that a certain Leonardo caused her accident, says the nurse. Sometimes people coming out of a coma are incoherent, Rosa Maria explains, so we can't... There's a knock on the door. Guillermo enters and Samara and the nurse excuse themselves. RM explains about Majo possibly coming out of her coma. I hope she gets better soon, Guillermo says, why did you want to see me? I don't want to get involved in your personal affairs, she says, but I want you to know that I don't agree with you withholding you support from the orphanage.

Lizia goes to Enriques office and tells him that she heard what he said to Patricia. That you love her and want to marry her, she says. It's not like that, Enrique protests. Let me explain. At least have the courage to tell me to my face that you used me, says Lizia. Stop lying to me. I trusted you and you put my job and my mother at risk. I won't make that mistake again.

Consuelo talks to Helena alone about her eating issues. Helena says she's tried to stop but can't. You're not alone, says Connie. I'll help you. I don't know much about it but you could see a specialist. You're part of this family and I'll help you. I really miss Majo, says Helena, and I'm really afraid that she might die.
 

TU AMOR ep 96 part 3

Cibernético sends an email from his lair. "Mister Guillermo, I know where the money is that they stole from the Caiman Islands." Enrique intercepts the message on his netbook. Later, he burst into Ciber's den and attacks him violently. He throws him to the floor and kicks him several times. He pulls him up and tells him he's prohibited from sending Guillermo any messages. Don't play games with me, Enrique warns. If you send another message to Guillermo, I'll kill you. You're not as brave as your father. Say hi to him for me.

Guillermo mentions the offer on his ranch at the dinner table with Adelaida, David, and Nora. I won't let you sell my ranch, says Nora. Do you want me to explain my reasons again? I'm not hungry anymore, she says leaving the table. I'm sorry about her behavior, Adelaida tells David. I don't think they taught her manners. David invites her to a restaurant he found for coffee and dessert.

Claudio sends someone an email asking for their help in tracking down a bank account under the name of Valentina Fuentes Barrios. He gets a call from Valentina. She needs to see him. They meet at her apartment and she tells him she married Ricardo because Patricia threatened to send Nora to jail. Her explanation sounds ridiculous but Claudio says he understands because he knows she has a big heart. Why didn't you tell me?, he asks. Patricia told me I couldn't, she says. That's why I asked you to trust me. Why are you so noble my love?, he asks. You're sacrifice won't be in vain.

Ricardo tells Patricia that Almeida is not an honest man. He says he suspects that he's the one that stole the money. I tried to trick him but he's very skilled, Ricardo says. I couldn't find anything to incriminate him. That money is ours and I'm going to get it all back. Now tell me who Guillermo's real daughter is. I'd like to, Pat says, but the truth is I don't know. Maybe I got the idea because I can't stand Nora and I preferred Valentina to be his daughter. I don't know if I believe you or not, Ricardo says, I know there's something more.

Nora climbs the mansion stairs with a can of gas in her hand and a box of matches in her waistband. They're dreaming if they think they can sell my ranch. For me, nothing is impossible, she says, pouring gasoline along one of the tiled floors. I'm doing this because life owes me that ranch. She strikes a match and tosses it to the floor. Framed by walls of flame, she appears demonic. She smiles as flames start to consume the house.

Diana, gee,I remember the long haired guy who loved the character and by the actress playing Yuri, but I cannot picture the Jul actress in Medicios. I do remember that he had relationship with her while being friend zoned by the dr character with the rich folks.I think I have watched too many tns and on!y clearly remember my favs. Currently I am I am binging "Kara Para,Ask" On Netflix (the original Turkish dizi that " Imperios" is based on. )It is great ..so much better than " Imperios,"which changed and ruined many characters and storylines. 164 episodes .

TU AMOR. A magnificent recap of a disturbing episode JoelD. You're right that it was a bit of a coincidence that Leo showed up right after Helena cut her hand. Man! Guillermo is willing to risk the lives of some orphans to get his way. Disgusting! True, Val had married to save someone else, but still, Ricardo seems a bit less dangerous than Nora. It was very stupid of Hector to move in with Patricia, but then that's obvious. And of course all of us habitual viewers of novelas know what Camila's throwing up means. Nora has honor? Nora is also ever more inhumane and sociopathic. Her remark about the orphans is revolting. I hope Beba and Uriel figure out a way to get that video without injuring Hector. Yolanda's ordering Camila's leg to be broken is horrendous! When will the anvil finally fall on this demon? Whoa! Enrique beating up Cibernetico. Does he have long to live? Nora burning down Guillermo's house? Where she lives? She is nuts!

“Claudio somehow keeps a straight face, knowing Val married Ricardo to save her sister” was a clear, mirror image of that scene.

Lest I forget how much I despise Guillermo “Are you capable of leaving those poor children helpless?, she asks. One of them is very ill. Yes, he says. I'm capable”. Despicable.

Lest I forget how much I despise Nora “If they were so good, Nora says, they wouldn't have been dumped at an orphanage”. And that in addition to tonight’s turn as a pyromaniac. Hell bent for damnation.

Conversation translations are so important Joel. I thought Yolanda was telling Regino to hurt Leo, I had no idea it was Camila! She is surely Satan’s spawn. And even more unfathomable and reprehensible as Camila is likely pregnant. Considering all she has been through, she simply cannot suffer any more tragedies. But, does this mean Ricardo is redeemable?? This assault simply cannot happen.

Hector's not an idiot. Patricia's lack of clothing was so transparent. Sorry, I had to do it :)

FINALLY Valentina tells Claudio the truth. FINALLY Majo wakes up and utters her truth. Small steps forward.

Yet Camila is in the shadow of doom, Helena and Hector are separated and Yolanda continues her malevolence unabated. Beba and Uriel are stuck in the mud.

Joel, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your dedication. You are a marvelous writer.

I agree Julieta wouldn't go out of her way to help Cholo, I didn't mean to suggest she would intentionally help just that the inadvertent result of her actions might be that the media attention would put all eyes on Cholo and might stop the bad guys from attempting to kill him because they would not want to draw attention.

I still hope it is Karina because she deserves the satisfaction of bringing him down but I also think it might be Gutierrez. I am not sure why, maybe it's because he is yet another super attractive actor on this show who didn't get enough screentime, but I think there's more to Gutierrez than we have seen. And maybe he is dirty as Steve has suggested, but I think he is just quietly observing and gathering evidence while everyone is too distracted to notice and no one is paying attention to him. As commented above, Mujica was quick to get Karina out of the way but he has zero suspicion of Gutierrez...

Julieta's an evil genius so far. She's managed to make the wife be the bad guy and get kicked out of her own house (with a lot of help from Alicia herself and Martin, of course); get her own show and have Sergio doing things that he thinks are his idea. And now, with her "brilliant idea" she has managed a Triple Play: 1) An explosive, exclusive interview for the debut of her show; 2) capturing a "dangerous criminal" that has managed to elude the Keystone Kops for so long; and 3) she will now get rid of one of the obstacles (Yuri) to being the one and only absolute "Señora de la Casa!"
Maybe quadruple: 4) Her career will leapfrog Sergio's and she will become the new darling of the network, leaving the jerk in the dust!
Now all she has to do is get Miranda sent to boarding school.
Can't wait for her downfall!

When is that series going to get its second season? The first ended on a hell of a cliffhanger.

She appeared nervous prior to making the call so I think she does have a conscience. I think she is indeed gullible as I don't think she would stay with Julieta if she knew everything she had done.

She isn't perfect but not deliberately cruel. I am hoping for a happy ending for her and Emiliano together.

DEJAN Episode 66 Like a lamb to slaughter Part 1

Betrayal is common for (wo)men with no conscience – Toba Beta

Previously: Martin and Alicia reconcile with a “big house” PDA to seal the deal. Yuri’s “I’ve got a secret” implodes. Yuri defies her “papi” and becomes Martin’s defender. Sergio demeans and berates the daughters he could not wait to wrest away from Alicia’s loving care. Karina, the smartest knife in the drawer is suspended. Jorge steels his resolve to take Lucas’ case. Julieta double crosses Yuri and Cholo while managing to evade the law herself. As Cholo opens the door expecting to see Yuri, he is face to face with the entire regional arm of the law (save Karina).

Cholo turns around, his face mirroring his dismay. After he is cuffed, Gutierrez searches him as Mujica smirks assuring him he will not be able to escape. Mujica informs Julieta that since Cholo was caught at her house she will need to answer as well. Julieta pretends to be surprised and tells him he doesn’t have a search warrant. As Cholo is walked to his new accommodations, Yuri arrives and asks him if he is all right. Mujica smiles evilly that she was the only one missing. Cholo looks as if he is in shock. Yuri glares at Julieta and as she turns her back, Julieta is clearly pleased with her duplicity.

There are several unsavory scenes with Alicia, Miranda and Sergio. Initially, Sergio chides Alicia for hitting him in front of his daughter. Alicia apologizes to Miranda and Sergio but declares she is not going to stop fighting for her life. If war is what Sergio wants - then war he will have! Alicia warns Sergio that he will never stop her from seeing her children…he will have to kill her first. Miranda runs out in tears telling them to stop. Sergio calls after her but to no avail. He closes his eyes and rubs his head. Little does he know his headaches have only just begun.

Jorge and Lucas are discussing his case as Lucas expresses concern about Moises. Jorge reassures him and Lucas continues to sign papers.

Miranda tells Alicia that everything has changed ever since that woman walked into the house; she does not want to live there. Viewerville nods sagely at this inevitable turn of events and secretly gloats that this declaration happened so quickly. Poor Benny is swimming in a frenzied manner, upset by all the commotion. Alicia promises Miranda that everything will be as before and they will be together; she just needs to be patient. Mother and daughter are hugging and kissing affectionately when Sergio returns. Alicia takes her leave.

Mujica accompanies Cholo to his cell and mockingly introduces him to Martin, the brother of the man he murdered. He tells Martín that his brother’s murderer has returned. Mujica assures Cholo he will rot in jail. Martin, in the cell facing Cholo’s, stares stonily but says nothing.

Sofia wants to take Nelson home, but Carlota refuses asking if she is crazy. Looking at the handsome Nelson sitting quietly on a rug, munching a bone, viewerville thinks it is Carlota who is insane. At that moment, Alicia arrives and Carlota tells Sofia that since Martín asked Alicia to look after Nelson, then Nelson will stay there. Alicia assures Sofia that she will take good care of Nelson and that her father will be out soon. Sofia looks apprehensive as she and Carlota abruptly and unceremoniously take their leave.

DEJAN Episode 66 Like a lamb to slaughter Part 2

Karina waits for Gutierrez outside the jail. He tells her Cholo was caught as a result of an anonymous tip. He is fairly certain that Yuri is involved since she arrived at the scene as well.

Mujica rather admiringly questions Julieta who admits that she got her employee to call them. He compliments her on her acting. She readily admits she was not going to miss the opportunity to interview this most wanted criminal. When he asks how and where she found him, Julieta refuses to name her source. When Karina shows up, Muijca kicks her out.

Julieta gives Yuri a very unconvincing apology and assures her she did everything she could to help Cholo. Yuri is warned that Mujica hates Cholo and Karina cautions her to be careful.

Martín asks Cholo how he was caught. Cholo deflects and tells Martín that he did not kill his brother. Then he states that it doesn’t matter if he is innocent; no one cares. He will be blamed for the murder and everyone else will go on and continue with their lives. Cholo breaks down.

Yuri tells Mujica to provide his evidence. Mujica mocks her involvement with losers like Cholo and Martín. Yuri assures him she knows that Cholo is being used as a scapegoat. Mujica calls Cholo an assassin and tells her that if Cholo leaves jail, it will be because he will be dead.

A rather pointless and unresolved scene where Lenora asks Gonzalo if he will be staying at Fedora’s. Lenora’s insecurities are still showing, (as well they should). Gonzalo stalls, telling her he wants to be sure. Lenora tells him that she is ready and he needs to figure out if he is ready…and he knows where the door is.

Sergio is grousing to poor Fabian who tries to calm him down as he is about to go on the air. Julieta arrives and Sergio chides her for being late. Julieta throws this right back at him, reminding him of the many times he has been late.

Alicia arrives home to the comforting support of Fedora and Marcela. She tearfully recounts her trials and tribulations with Sergio. She has no home, no money, no job. She has no idea what she will do. Marcela and Fedora assure her that things will work out. With impeccable timing, Gonzalo joins the group and suggests they work together, cooking, to make money. Fedora and Marcela immediately offer to help and as Gonzalo suggests that he can get recipes from Lorena a plan is devised. Even Eva’s untimely arrival and disparaging remarks can’t extinguish the flames of creativity. They politely and pointedly ignore her and the enthusiasm continues.

Martín flashes back to Facundo telling him that Cholo is innocent. He relates this to Cholo and adds that he believes something untoward is occurring. When Martin questions whether Cholo is involved in drugs, Cholo denies it and mentions that Julieta asked him the same thing. He (rightly) thinks Julieta had something to do with him being caught.

Yuri tells Miranda that she is having the worst day of her life. She wishes she were Miranda’s age since things were so much easier. (Viewerville wonders if Yuri suffers from short term memory loss. Miranda has been and is on the precipice of hell). Yuri now realizes that things are not black and white…or good or bad. Being in love hurts, not because one is not loved but because everything is a disaster. Miranda knows she is not talking about Moises (no kidding!), but Yuri doesn’t want to talk right now. She tells Miranda she loves her.

Meanwhile, at the station, Sergio and Julieta begin their broadcast. Julieta mentions her new show and teases that she has a great story for her debut. They are interrupted by a news report that Cholo has been apprehended. Fabian declares it odd that details weren’t provided.

The news report is watched in many quarters. Toro counts several thick wads of bills as he and Quique listen. Moises and the wedding planner watch from his bed, his relief that Cholo was caught evident. Yaya and Yuri watch from home, Yaya asking Yuri what transpired. Yuri thinks a neighbor reported it. When Yaya suspects Julieta, Yuri isn’t sure what she is capable of. Yuri dissolves in tears.

Fedora encourages Alicia, reminding her SHE is the injured party, catching Sergio in bed with Julieta. Martin had nothing to do with her break-up with Sergio. She tells Alicia not to give up. Alicia admits that her love story is turbulent but marvelous. Fedora continues to bolster Alicia’s spirits, telling her that Martín loves her and is dying to be with her.

Martín and Cholo can’t sleep. Martín thinks that they need to hold on to what is important to them. He ticks off a list that includes his daughter, his dog…. Martín tells Cholo that he will help him get out but he needs to tell him everything that happened the day he was captured.

Sergio wants Julieta to tell Mabel to stop helping Martín, but she refuses. Yuri approaches and Sergio tells her to stay away from Cholo. Yuri arrives and Julieta asks if she saw the program. Yuri wants to speak with Julieta as Sergio stares, open mouthed.

Mujica gets a congratulatory call from Toro. He tells Toro that he needs to do his part now and asks about the sales. Toro assures him sales are good but warns he won’t be seeing any money until he finishes the job which is ensuring Cholo dies.

Yuri questions Julieta who denies anything to do with Cholo being caught. Yuri believes her lies. When Yuri asks about the interview, Julieta tells her that she will air it the next day and she is sure it will help Cholo. She asks Yuri not to tell her father.

DEJAN Episode 66 Like a lamb to slaughter Part 4 (Last)

Alicia and Martin hold hands through the bars. She tells Martín about seeing Sofia and Carlota at his house. She sometimes feels that their relationship might not work out (an understatement with which the patio collectively agrees). Alicia watches as Cholo returns to his cell.

Julieta is nervous about the maiden voyage of her show and her first interview in particular. She gets a text that the first draft is ready.

Sergio presides over a stuffy, uncomfortable breakfast. Miranda tells Sergio that she is ready to go back to school. Sergio tells her that as soon as she finishes with the psychiatrist, she will be taken to school. Moises arrives to talk to Yuri before going to the office. Miranda and Yuri are quiet as Julieta pops up to head to the office. Moises arrives to further darken an already dank day. Miranda barely looks at him and Yuri gives him the stink eye.

Julieta preps for her show. Fabian tells her that the interview will be explosive and that she should be well aware of who will have a fit because of it.

Julieta starts her broadcast as Yuri chews her fingernails. The interview begins and fireworks erupt. Sergio watches intently, smirking that the show won’t last a month. However, when Julieta reveals who she interviewed, Sergio gives a “no puede ser!” Cholo recounts the day he was first arrested and how the medallion mysteriously appeared among his things. When she asks who helped while he was on the run, Cholo remains gallantly silently, refusing to answer. Julieta then asks about his relationship with his ex-lawyer. He hesitates saying only that it was professional. This prompts Julieta to reword her question. Cholo downs a glass of water and finally admits that he is in love with Yuri. At this blockbuster revelation, Sergio angrily leaves.

At the station, champagne is freely flowing as everyone celebrates. Sergio storms in, demanding to know how Julieta could dare involve Yuri in all of this and further, how did she manipulate the poor soul into admitting what she wanted to hear? The celebratory crowd disperses in mere seconds. Julieta chastises him that he should be happy and a great deal more appreciative…since Yuri was hiding Cholo – at Sergio’s house!!

Tonight's episode was laden with dialog. Scarcely a breath was taken. I thank Rgv Chick for her invaluable translations and always observant eye. Without her input, my version would have been incoherent and incomplete. I am so grateful.

I seriously underestimated Julieta's intelligence and resolve. That said, my question is - to what end? Julieta has already invented a successful (and ruthless) persona. Surely Sergio, an aging Lothario, in poor health with family issues and children beset with issues was merely a stepping stone?

Does she really intend to stay with him? There must be other choices - younger more virile (and healthy) men with greater wealth and less problems. Food for thought.

As for yesterday's question is Yuri naive enough to believe Julieta when she claims she didn't do it, last night's answer is yes, the neighbors did it, of course!!! This girl needs a new career stat she isn't going to make it as a lawyer!

Well Martin and Cholo don't get the same jail cell they get adjoining cells. I would say it's a good thing that Martin now believes him and wants to help, but really how much as Martin helped anything so far?

I did think it was interesting, and I may have misunderstood but I think Murjica told Martin if he had the urge to cross over cells and avenge his brother's death then he could just let him know.....if he did, he said that in front of Martin, Cholo, Gutierrez and at least one other cop. That was pretty bold and arrogant, celebrating a little too soon and too loudly?

Diana, I agree with you about Julieta. It makes no sense that she would want Sergio. She is way too smart and ambitious for that! But maybe there's something there psychologically or emotionally like needing daddy's approval or something she is compensating for?

Thank you, Diana, for this excellent recap. It captured last night’s events perfectly. I especially enjoyed “ ‘big house’ PDA”. So funny! ITA that Julieta is smarter and more determined than I imagined. She has everybody where she wants them. She is running Sergio’s whole life.
She is like a bulldozer. I think that Sergio is only a stepping stone if a cuter, younger and more powerful guy shows up.

Biggest disappointment last night: Alicia didn’t knock out one of Sergio’s front teeth.

Second biggest disappointment: Alicia crying in her altercation with Sergio. She needs to get a grip. He enjoyed seeing her upset. I am tired of seeing her upset. She owed Miranda no apology for socking Sergio. She could take a lesson from Julieta. She needs to start that catering business and light a fire under her lawyer to get her whatever part of her settlement she can now. Miranda is 15 so her settlement with the house could take three years if Sergio maintains custody. Time for her to get a move on already.

Best of last night: Sergio watching Alicia’s bombshell of a premiere after he had minimized her and her show.

Yaya is one smart cookie!

Will Yuri be moving into Fedora’s, too, after Sergio finding out about her hiding Cholo?

At least everyone wants to take care of Nelson. ; )

There wasn't much in the interview that would help Cholo, unless it was edited out. Juleech never asked him anything about the day of the crime that he could have answered to incriminate Toro or anyone else. She intended that interview to hurt Yuri because she wants her out of the picture. She knows -- or should know -- that Yuri is/was SerJerk's favorite and that this would hurt him. This is tabloid stuff.

She doesn't care. SerJerk is a stepping stone and nothing else. He is such a narcissist he can't see this.

His behavior with Miranda is beyond disgraceful. That poor girl.

In defense of Yuri, she may have had an easier adolescence than Miranda. They are very different from each other. She was the firstborn and things could have been very different between her parents at the time. There is a ten- or eleven-year age gap between the sisters and a lot can happen during that.

At least dear Nelson doesn't lack for love. The next thing to hold against Carloca is that she is the one person who doesn't love him. Maybe Alicia and Sofie can bond over him. Maybe he is the magic that gets Alicia's girls to accept Martin. He is magically beautiful and sweet.

I wouldn't put it past him and it makes sense. He picked the wrong audience however as Martin and the enigmatic Gutierrez do believe in the law and its process. While Gutierrez has no reason at this point to believe Cholo is innocent, Martin already more than suspects it.

And yes I say laughingly Mujica is indeed bold and arrogant. An outsize ego for a very little man.

While there certainly has been good reason for her to be upset in the past, it's time to move on and claim what is hers, financially, emotionally and physically. Whatever the cooking opportunity morphs into, she needs to seize it with both hands.

Your comments on Julieta "She is running Sergio’s whole life. She is like a bulldozer" nailed it. I have to reluctantly salute her. She needs only to finish her total decimation! She is truly frightening. If she would go to these lengths to ruin Yuri's relationship with Yuri, whatever would she have done to poor Miranda??

You can't help but wonder though. When she isolates Sergio from his family, she will be all he has. Does she think she will be able to have control over all his life and assets? I would not bet against her and any such fate he falls into would certainly be fitting.

Diana, it is hard for me to completely dislike Julieta because she is only doing what she has been given license to do. She is a real go-getter. Sergio has been the weak link all along. He could have stopped her long before but he was too interested in having his cake and eating it too. That “cake” is getting very expensive at this point and he is only starting to pay. LOL At least Miranda has Yaya.

Jarifa - I completely agree!As much as I try to dislike her if this show ended with her getting nothing more than her next leg up and next opportunity to wreak havoc I would be okay with that. If it were only Sergio that suffered, I'd be fine. In fact, I would be cheering her on, shouting to the rafters! :)

But there has been much collateral damage. Alicia has suffered terribly. Still, knowing that she will end up happy in the end might convince me to overlook Julieta's sheer ambition regarding Alicia.

But I hold her accountable for the children. Yes, an adult and a teenager but children nevertheless. In any carnage, it is they who suffer the most. Driving a wedge between any child and their parent is unforgiveable. Miranda is fragile and Julieta's (assumed) plan to ship her out rings hollow and cruel.

If Julieta had confined herself to end Sergio's marriage that would have been one thing. But...

TU AMOR ep 97 part 1

As flames consume the mansion, Nora grabs her purse, puts the match box inside, and leaves. She must hope the plastic gas can will be destroyed in the inferno.

In her bedroom, Helena is still upset about Majo. She tells Consuelo that Majo is very bad and her life is running out little by little. She says it hurts her to see her like that. Majo's a strong woman, brave and full of energy. Connie takes her in her arms and Horacio joins them in a hug. We're like your fake parents, he says, but we're here for you.

Adelaida is enjoying coffee at an out of the way café that David has found. In my experience, he says, the most famous doesn't always mean the best. He says he learned that while patrolling the battlefields.

Camila does a phone search to find out what causes sudden nausea. Nausea is one of the most common symptoms of pregnancy, she reads. She looks surprised. No puede ser, she thinks. She remembers asking Ricardo if the condom he used was reliable. I wouldn't expose you to anything, he said, a pregnancy at this point would be terrible, don't worry. Every time I've been with Ricardo, she recalls, he's sworn to me that we took proper precautions.

Guillermo runs into an old acquaintance named Alfaro in the hall of the hospital. They haven't seen each since a convention in Germany 20 years ago. Alfaro says he brought his son to get a yearly check up. Let's grab something in the cafeteria, he suggests. The coffee isn't good but the important thing is the company.

Lizia enters Enrique's office and closes the door behind her. You're not going to play with me again, she thinks, remembering Enrique's lies. She searches the office and find's his tablet. Security camera two finds Enrique and Patricia kissing in her office. You used me Enrique, Lizia says to herself, I'm never going to forgive you. She hides the tablet and leaves the office as she found it.

Valentina and Claudio wake up together at her apartment. Do you think my marriage could be annulled?, she asks. Of course, he says, if we can prove that it was forced. Although that would imply that Patricia would denounce... I can't allow that, says Val. I'm sure Patricia is hiding something, says Claudio. We have to be smart and find something to use against her. But we're not like that, says Val, and I don't know what it could be. She tells him about her plan to put on a fashion event at the orphanage to raise money. Those kids can't be left homeless, she says.

Hector is in a classroom. Luna comes in and takes a seat. What are you doing here?, he asks, this is college prep. I got up the energy and finished secondary, she answers. What?, he responds, look at you, congratulations. If you don't mind, she says, can you go back to your seat? I don't want to be distracted. Class begins, and the professor says they will be discussing Art History.

Guillermo opens up to his old friend in the cafeteria. A little while ago, he says, I found a daughter that I didn't know existed. I'm enjoying making up for lost time but it's not all smooth sailing. Now, my daughter, Nora is her name, is asking me to do something that will affect a lot of people. So don't do it, Alfaro advises. She grew up far from me without my protection, says Guillermo. I feel that if I don't please her I'm failing her again. You're feeling guilty, says Alfaro, but you didn't know she existed. In my experience giving kids eveything they ask for creates weak people. If you really want to help her let her get what she wants by herself. Let her strive to reach her goals like you did with Helena.

Patricia gets a call from Lucha. The house is burning, she says. I'm outside but a policeman is going to take us to the station. My mansion is on fire, Patricia says to Ricardo. My inheritance. I can't lose it. Relax, says Ricardo. It's just material things. Since when don't you value material things?, she asks. Go change, says Ricardo, and we'll go to the station to find out what happened.

Luna takes off quickly when class is over. What do you want?, she asks Hector when he catches up to her. You left without saying good bye, he says. If I said something or did something that hurt you, I'm sorry. If you really want me to forgive you and have things be like they were before, Luna says, tell me to my face that you don't feel anything for me. Crying, she tries to walk away, but he stops her. I DO feel something for you, Hector says. You're my best friend. You're extremely important to me. But not as a woman, she says, and no matter how I try, I can't stop loving you. I swear that if I could, I would love you the same way, he says. But you have to understand. The love I have for you is very different. If you love me, you want me to be happy right? Yes, even though it means I can't be with you, says Luna. I feel really bad that it's my fault that you're fighting with Helena. No, he says, it's not your fault. All you've ever done is help me and care for me. You'll always be here, he says putting her hand on his heart. You have a special place in my life and in my heart that nobody can ever take away. That's the most beautiful thing anyone has ever said to me, she says. Yo quiero mucho, Héctor, she says, hugging him.

Yolanda is at the taller speaking to her detective. It's time that Uriel explain to me why he wants that video so urgently, she says. I want results immediately. I'll investigate, the detective says, but hurting Camila isn't part of my job or what you're paying me for. You're all the same, says Yolanda, taking out another envelope of money. This should be enough to ease your conscience.

Guillermo shows up in Majo's room at the hospital. Maybe you can't hear me, he says. And if you can, you may not believe me, but I'm really sorry for what's happening. I also want to thank you for being such a good friend to my... to Helena. I would so much like to find a way to reconcile with her but I don't know how. There've been so many years of pain, resentment, and hate. I really don't know how to forgive her, how to forget her lie that caused the death of my wife. He get's a call from Patricia. The mansion is on fire.

At the station, Guillermo asks Mechita and Lucha about Adelaida and Nora. We don't know, says Lucha. The firefighters wouldn't let us in the house. And later the police brought us here, Mechita adds. Adelaida isn't answering my calls, says Guillermo. Patricia arrives, and worries about losing her inheritance. Please, says Guillermo, worry more about where Adelaida and Nora are. I'm going to look for them. I can't stay here without... What if they're trapped in that blaze?, he says, grabbing his arm. Patricia sits him down and turns on Lucha. You must know what happened, she says. No one is to blame, says Guillermo, the important thing is to find Adelaida and Nora.

Camila is startled when Leonardo comes into the house. He thinks she looks terrible and wants to know if Helena is still at Horacio's. He leaves, and Camila decides to get a pregnancy test. Leonardo pretends that he's sorry for what happened to Majo. He pretends to comfort Helena as a means of getting closer to her. Consuelo and Horacio leave them alone on the couch. Don't cry, Leo says putting his arm around Helena's shoulders. Those pretty eyes look lovelier when they're not sad. You can't be responsible for what happened to Majo. What's wrong with you?, asks Helena jumping up. You tried to kiss me. I was only trying to hug you, he says, to comfort you like a friend Please leave, she says, I need to be alone.

A child pops a balloon and David jumps up in fear. He takes some deep breaths attempting to calm himself. The child's mother apologizes but David tells her not to worry. She's just being a kid. Adelaida sits him down and takes his hands. Those sounds remind me of the war, he says. You don't know what it's like living with those memories mom. You wake up at night yelling because you remember your companions that lost their lives. It's terrible what you experienced, says Adelaida. Everything you saw is frightening. Yes, he says, but you know what? I always thought of you. I was sure that no matter how far, somewhere in the world you were thinking about me. And before I slept you would say, Good night son and I'd answer good night mother. It was like that, says Adelaida. I always, always had you in my thoughts, in my prayers, and in my heart. You don't know how much I love you. David is calm now, smiles, and kisses her hand.

Someone in authority tells Gullermo they're doing everything they can, but there's a lot of smoke, and the structure is very hot and could collapse. Oh, it can't be, my house, my house, says Patricia. Oh please, says Guillermo in frustration. You can't be more worried about that damn house than the lives of my sister and my daughter. They could be dead. What are you doing with my wife?, Ricardo asks, when Valentina and Claudio arrive at the station. Please Ricardo, says Guillermo, don't start. This isn't the time or the place. Nora shows up and says she just found out about the house. We were really worried, says Valentina. Nora makes a face when Claudio holds Val to comfort her. Don't think of causing a scandal, her father tells her. Don't you see that Valentina is with my fiancee?, Nora replies. We don't know if your aunt is alive, Guillermo says, that's the most important.


 

TU AMOR ep 97 part 4

Consuelo tells Horacio about going to see Yolanda when they're alone at her house. What did that witch do?, he asks. She told me that Leonardo was her lover and her accomplice in the destruction of Helena's business. Whoa, he says, and we left Helena alone with him. Does she know?, he asks. No, says Consuelo, I didn't say anything because I talked to Leonardo. He swore to me that everything Yolanda said was a lie. What do you think?, she asks. I don't think you want to hear what I think, says Horacio. Since she persists, he reluctantly tells her that he thinks Leonardo is cabable of everything Yolanda claimed. He's ambitious, Horacio says, and ambition is the favorite sin of the devil. I failed you mom, says Camila coming into the room crying. Consuelo holds her and Horacio sees the positive pregnancy test in her hand.

After Helena leaves for her room, Leonardo snoops around the kitchen. He moves the hutch to the side and discovers the door to Horacio's secret treasure room. He finds the key in an old wooden box and enters the room sliding the hutch back over the entrance behind him. He checks over some jewelry and realizes how valuable it is. Wow, what you have hidden here Horacio, he thinks. But you're going to have to share it with me. I don't plan to leave here empty handed.

Carlitos is having a meal with his friends at the orphanage. He looks like he's experiencing some discomfort. He drops his utensils and collapses while trying to retrieve them. Aurora calls Rosa Maria. I'll send the ambulance right away, she says. Mina wants to stay with him at the hospital, but isn't allowed. Sister says she'll call Consuelo to come get her.

Over dessert, Uriel tells the paparazzi that he can't find anyone who wants to try to beat up Hector. The paparazzi says Uriel has until tomorrow or he'll take the video to Yolanda. We're in trouble now, says Beba. No, says Uriel, this might be our best opportunity to get the video without paying one peso.

Consuelo comforts her daughter and tells her only God knows why these things happen. If you are having a baby, she says, we'll receive it with lots of love. I'm here for you. What am I going to do?, Camila asks. Your mother is a great example for you, says Horacio. She's a fighter and strong. You're not alone. We're with you. You've always been like a father to me, says Camila. I love you so much. Stop, he says hugging her. You're going to make me cry.

At the station, Nora confronts Valentina. How dare you come with Claudio?, she asks. You know he's my fiancee and you're married to Ricardo. You have no shame. Clearly, my father is going to buy Claudio's love. Love can't be bought, says Valentina. It hurts me to see what you've become. Well, Claudio will do what my father ordered, says Nora. He's going to marry me. If not, those silly orphans will be left with nobody to care for them. Valentina slaps her, shocking everyone in the room. I forbid you to ever lay one hand on my daughter, says Guillermo. Furthermore, I don't want you living with us. Don't worry, says Valentina, because I don't want... So take off, says Nora. You belong with the poor people, with the losers because that's what you are Valentina, a mediocre loser. Well, you've become an ambitious woman with no heart and no values, says Val. What would our parents say? They're not my parents, says Nora. Take off. You're envious of me. We should go, says Claudio. Valentina has nothing to do with you, says Patricia. My sister is right, adds Ricardo, she should be with me.

Joel, thank you for a thoughtful, well written summary of yet another very sober and somber episode.

I’m going to start with the very few positives. Claudio and Valentina, united and vowing to work together to define and untangle the myriad of sordid stories. And David! Can any human truly be so magnanimous and forgiving? I pray he is real and not an illusion. Consuelo and Horacio supporting Camila. Finally, Majo showing signs of life returning.

Nora has managed to goad the usually collected Valentina into showing and voicing her repulsion no matter the audience. The consequence is that all the good will between Guillermo and Valentina is eroding. And quickly.

Guillermo has some inclination to reconcile with Helena but it appears he can’t forgive and forget. How and if what his wife did will be revealed is still a mystery.

Hector was very generous with Luna but I’ve yet to be convinced she can ever accept he will be purely in the friend zone.

Does Uriel have any viable plan??

Leo keeps slithering – at least Helena has rebuffed all his obvious advances.

The thing about Juleech, though, is that she is taking pleasure out of hurting others, especially Alicia. She's really getting her kicks out of this.

She is trying to isolate SerJerk from Miranda and is now looking to get Yuri in major trouble that could get her license revoked. Why would she even need to do that otherwise?

She seems smart enough to not commit murder but she loves murdering people's spirits. Can you imagine her as a mother? Any daughter of hers would be more depressed and screwed up than Miranda.

I agree with everyone, Julieta is cunning and has the cajones to get what she wants. I'm not sure she wants Sergio as much as she wants the status and prestige that she thinks Sergio can provide...and yes, Sergio is a stepping stone.

Darcy, thank you for mentioning the comment made by Mujica to Martin regarding taking out his anger on Cholo. Disregarding the witnesses present shows what an overbearing, (wrongly) self-assured ***hole he is. Diana, " An outsize ego for a very little man."...with a very little ????? LOL Some have expressed how Gutierrez might be gathering evidence against him, but I cannot forget how Gutierrez treated Fedora when she first reported Samuel...maybe he has has had a change of heart (crossing fingers).

Jarifa, I had the same disappointmetns as you did. Alcia really needs to stop feeding into Sergio's bullying; she is only giving him what he wants.

They didn't really show much of the interview that would help Cholo. If something was edited out, I'm hopeoing that it was that Cholo explained why he had to escape--his life was in danger. This would make Mujica think twice about harming him while in jail.

Gutierrez is so inscrutable it's impossible to tell what makes him tick. While I hope he is not like Mujica, like you, I do remember how contemptuous he was when Fedora filed her complaint. It likely would have been inappropriate but I wished he had said something to her at the scene where Samuel was shot. He so misjudged her and the situation.

Jarifa, your "She seems smart enough to not commit murder but she loves murdering people's spirits" regarding Julieta made me smile.

I would not mind Julieta doing a tap dance on Sergio's face with her six inch spikes as she scampers off to a bigger sucker and more ludicrous scam :)

I think Sergio was an opportunity that presented itself to young, power hungry Jul, and those 3years of sleeping with him have paid off big time for her . Now, that she is set up in Alicias house and her career is popping , she can look for a handsome lover . She is a determined , patient, clever lass. I wouldn't want to be in her orbit. She is uncaring ,confident , and energetically ruthless. Jul has turned into a force to be reckoned with .I am so curious about her background to find out how she turned into this amoral , driven person . Does she have Daddy issues?

Bright spots in the darkness....Martin and Cholo talking ...everyone is ignoring Eva...Sergio seems to finally realize he has a tiger by the tail. ...Karina and Gutierrez seem honest and smart.

Juleech and SerJerk are truly malignant narcissists. So is Eva. All three of them deserve their comeuppance.

We can only speculate on how Juleech became who she is. At this late date we are unlikely to meet any of her family of origin. Since they didn't even visit her in the hospital after her accident they must be estranged, which never happens for no reason.

It would be wonderful if Guttierez turns out to be from Internal Affairs and will get Mujica in the end. The connexion to El Toro should finish him off but good.

RGV Chick and Diana, yes it all comes back to that scene with Fedora, and that's what drives me crazy about this character. That scene is so out of sync with every other scene and interaction he had since. Including with Fedora herself. He was so cold and horrible in that interaction but he never showed even a hint of that same attitude with any interaction ever since..... it is indeed inscrutable. My only thought would be he was trying to ingratiate himself to the clearly chauvinistic Majica but Majica wasn't in the room then and Gutierrez hasn't done anything since to try to be teacher's pet so it doesn't really make sense to me. Nothing about it makes sense!!

I love/hate this character because I can't figure him out. I hope there is something more there to figure out though and it isn't just a lose end that never gets addressed.

Urban, I can see Julieta as an only child, born into poverty who vowed to and managed to escape at the first opportunity she had. I suspect there are other skeletons in her closet and crushed souls she'd stepped on along the way.

Darcy, there seemed to have been a subtle shift. Initially I though Guttierez and Mujica were in synch, but you're right in that he seems to be more in Karina's corner now. His image is in the opening credits and while that may not necessarily mean much, I think he will have some major part to play before the end.

Will some innocent person be blamed? Yolanda thinks anyone can be bought, of course. I hope at least her detective minion goes against her. David has ptsd. Oh dear, Camila trusted Ricardo's "precautions." And everyone knows that nausea is a pregnancy symptom--at least in novelas. (Although the only time I ever experienced it in a pregnancy was when I passed by a churro stand in Madrid.) Wow, Luna has already finished the basic secondary and Hector has moved on to another class after Physics. A few months must have passed. Alfaro gives Guillermo good advice, and it's great that Guillermo finally wants to reconcile with Helena! Consuelo is just wonderful about Camila's pregnancy. I hope the secret room's curse descends on Leo! Maybe Uriel and Hector could pretend that Uriel is beating him up, and Hector could use the paparazzi's money to get his cab fixed.

She could show up with some ragtag models such as Luna and Majo. It would be the greatest comeback of all time.

As Sergio starts to lose it, she tells him he needs to calm down. She goes on to tell him that stuff with his family just doesn't stop. For that reason, she had to negotiate with Yuri to do the interview. She had to get him out of there to protect Sergio. All Sergio wants to know is if Alicia knew about Cholo living there. She finds it hard to believe that Alicia wouldn't know about it. Heck, she was in the house for less than 24 hours. Alicia might be older but not blind, deaf and stupid. Sergio concludes that Alicia must have known and he leaves.

2. Moisés cannot believe that Cholo dared to expose Yuri like he did on a national broadcast. Yuri is more concerned about talking to Julieta who is not answering her. Moisés asks if she doesn't realize how this affects him her family, the firm . . . Yuri asks him not to play dumb because it has been clear for weeks now that she and Cholo had something going on. It is nothing that is going to just pass away. Everyday she is more sure of what she feels for Cholo. Moisés grins sarcastically and asks if she is being serious. Yuri says more serious than ever. She is so worried about Cholo because he is in danger in that jail. She tells him that if he is the lawyer he says he is so concerned about justice and ethics, he will do everything possible to get Cholo out of there because Moisés knows Cholo is innocent. She leaves and his grin disappears.

3. Martín's parents are visiting him in his cell. Cholo tells Facundo that they are meeting again. Facundo wishes it were in different circumstances. Facundo agrees that Cholo is innocent. Cholo doesn't think he will be getting out the jail alive this time. A worker comes by with his food calling him lover boy and saying he just saw him on a telenovela. He conveniently drops the food tray onto the floor just outside of Cholo's cell. Martín warns Cholo not to lose his temper.

4. Alicia is at Fedora's and is talking on the phone with Sergio. She is telling him to calm down because she has no idea what he is talking about. She knows nothing about the broadcast and their daughter being in love with a criminal. When he tells her that Cholo had been living in the house, she laughs and tells him he needs a shrink. She cannot believe that he is saying that Yuri had a criminal living in HER house. He informs her that he was living in the storage room and that she was Yuri's accomplice. Alicia still cannot believe it. She asks him how he would ever think that she would allow such a thing that would put her family at such risk. Sergio says he could believe anything about HER. He is going to get to the bottom of this.

5. Rebeca and Fedora saw the show and tell Alicia all about it. Alicia says the worst part is that Sergio is saying that Yuri had Cholo hidden in the house and, of course, Alicia was her accomplice.
 

DEJAN

Part 2

6. The celebration over Julieta's success is continuing on the set as Tamayo comes in to hug his star journalist. He congratulates her and Diablo who graciously says that Julieta should get all the credit. She agrees. They'll laugh. Tamayo tells her that they beat out the ratings of all the telenovelas. Julieta turns to Chela noting that she still hasn't congratulated her. Chela tells her it was magnificent but she is worried about he friend Yuri.

7. Chela talks to Yuri on her phone. Yuri needs to talk to Julieta. Chela hands her the phone. Julieta thinks it is someone wanting to congratulate her and instead gets a tongue lashing from Yuri. She cannot believe Julieta would ask Choo about their relationship. She exposed both of them. They never agreed to that. Julieta says that she knows public opinion much better than Yuri and that Cholo moved the whole country's heart. Everyone loves a love story. Very soon, Yuri will be thanking her for what she did. Yuri continues complaining but Julieta excuses herself because the network executives are there to congratulate her.

8. Chela has her phone back as Yuri tells her this has turned into a disaster. Chela tells her that maybe Julieta is right and showing this more human side of Cholo might help. Yuri doesn't know but she has to go get her mom's novio out of jail.

9. Miranda walks into her school with a smile on her face and so much confidence it is as if she owns the place. Everyone watches as she passes on by down the hall. Ariana is there to meet her at her locker as Nicole and friend observe from down the hall. Miranda missed her, even the school. Miranda feels like throwing up but she is here and will not give her enemies that pleasure. She tells Ariana that they can smell fear. She didn't tell Culebra she was coming back so she could surprise him.

10. Nicole and friend pass on by to let Miranda know that they know she "the strange one" is back. Nicole asks if she isothere for the launch of her new video. Miranda keeps smiling and says yes there will be a launch of a whole new season but this time there will be a rather different ending. She and Ariana turn and leave smiling all the way. Nicole and friend are left wondering.

11. Alicia is talking to Fedora and Rebeca about how she gives Yuri no credit for letting that guy stay at the house. Yuri is a lawyer and knows perfectly what she was doing by hiding a fugitive was a crime. Eva overhears a bit and comes out to hear some more. Alicia complains that Yuri put them all at risk. Alicia understands why Yuri broke it off with Moisés because she fell in love with that man. Alicia doesn't know how she could have missed all of this going on. Eva tells her it was because she was being entertained in her romance with Martín. That is why each of her children ran amuck. Fedora tells Eva that Yuri is an adult. Eva tells her this is a family issue so she shouldn't get involved. Eva blames Alicia for it all. Rebeca has forgotten who Eva is. Eva confirms she is Alicia's mother but it is best Rebeca doesn't remember her because she is the ogre around here.


 

DEJAN

Part 3

12. Alicia calls Yuri and tells her that her father told her everything. Yuri says she cannot talk now because she has to take care of Martín's situation. When she hangs up, Sergio call her but Yuri doesn't answer.

13. Yuri goes to see Mujica who laughingly congratulates her on being Cholo Fuentes' novia and having it announced on national tv. He addresses her as Yuri. She corrects him. She is "Licenciada Carranza" where he is concerned. If he wants to talk about show biz gossip, she will find someone else to help her with her client's case. He says that will not be necessary. she hands him a folder with the forms necessary to free Martín on bail with certain conditions. She says it wasn't hard to convince the judge since her client had no previous arrests, a job, the support of his parents as well as the fact that complainant presented no proof of any injuries that her client supposedly inflicted on him. There is no medical report, no photos, nothing. Mujica says there are witnesses. Yuri says that the complainant could have paid them off to support his claim because they are his employees. Mujica makes it clear they are talking about her father. He wonders what he will say about all of this. Yuri thinks he won't say anything because Mujica is ging to follow the law and all of its procedures. Mujica reminds her Martín will have to pay bail to get out.

14. Cholo gets a visit from "his lawyer" Moisés knows he must be disappointed seeing him. Did Cholo think Yuri wold be coming when he exposed her in that interview. Martín listens from his cell. Cholo blames Julieta for twist g his words. he didn't want to say what he did. Moisés concludes just like he didn't want to escape or kill poor Simón. Moisés makes it clear his case doesn't look good especially now with the new charges for being the ringleader in the jail break. He himself ruined the only chance he had to get out of here. Yolo makes it clear that he knows that Moisés never believed him and is going to get even with him because of Yuri. Moisés answers that Yolo's "calvary" (torment) starts right now.

15. Julieta is throwing up in the bathroom as Chiquis listens in the other room. When she comes out, Julieta admits she has been feeling like this for several days now. If its not the fault of too much champagne, or high cholesterol, might it be . . . ???? Julieta doesn't want to even think of that possibility. Julieta makes it clear they are going on as planned because nothing is going to ruin her party and celebrating today. She doesn't care what Sergio thinks.

16. Sergio arrives at his house screaming for Yuri. Yaya explains she is busy at the Ministerio Público. He gives Yaya the third degree about Cholo being hidden in the house. Yaya finally admits that she found out but just a short while ago. Yuri begged her not to say anteing to anyone because the young man could get killed. He says Yaya was stupid enough to turn into an accomplice. He demands to know if Alicia was aware of what was going on. No, Alicia knew nothing.


 

DEJAN

Part 4

17. Gonzo discusses his living situation with a friend. He asks he could come and stay with him for a while so he can get out of living at Fedora's. His friend has cousins visiting from Guanajuato and asks why he doesn't want to move in with Lorena. Gonzo sees moving in with her as a big step that he isn't sure about taking. He loves Lorena, though. His friend thinks he has two choices: move in with Lorena or break up with her.

18. Miranda runs into Culebra in teh hall. he is happy to see her back at school. He asks how their pals are treating her. she says lots of gossip behind her back but hey, she is famous. He says they are just immature. Miranda refuses to give them any excuse. She is no fool. They won't be bothering her because she has come back with a revenge plan; a diabolical plan. He tells her to be careful because he knows her. She promises. They laugh. She is going to insist that they investigate her case and that the guilty parties are exposed. She will not stop until justice is done even if she has to go on a hunger strike. He agrees saying as long as there is no "kiss strike". They kiss in the hall.

19. Nicole and her friend see them. Nicole is all fired up teach Miranda another lesson. Her friend thinks it might be better to just take a break from it all. Nicole insists she has to do something to Miranda for her mental health's sake.

20. Alicia has called Yaya and is chewing her out for not telling her about Yuri hiding Cholo in the house. Yay repeats she just found out about the situation a very short time ago. She tells Yaya (again) she has to tell her what is gong on with the kids. She asks to talk to Miranda. Yaya tells her she is back at school for the first time. Alicia is angry that Yaya didn't inform her. Luckily for Yay, Alicia gets a call from Yuri to come on down to the Ministerio Público.

21. Karina goes to talk to Mujica about being reinstated. She misses her job. he says it must be boring to be alkaline and sits very close to her on the couch. he tells her she is in luck. He was just about call her. the results of the investigation just came in and her actions at the scene were crime were approved. He could do her a favor and get her back on the job sooner rather than later. He is all over her in her face. Karina is uncomfortable to say least. Mujica wants them to go celebrate over a few beers after work.

22. Chiquis brings Julieta several pregnancy tests. As Julieta goes in the bathroom to get the verdict, Chiquis waxes pastoral on how wonderful it would be to have children. Julieta finally comes out.

23. Fedora leaves Rebeca alone in the garden. Eva comes out to visit. Rebecas recognizes her. Eva says losing her memory in her old age is one of her biggest fears. Rebeca says she didn't have to wait that long. Eva says she really feels sorry for Rebeca because it wolud really hurt her to forget her life and her family. Rebeca tells her what you don't remember can't hurt you. Eva agrees that she is right. Eva would like to forget this year. Rebeca knows one of these days she will forget she is ill. Maybe it will be easier since she is still aware of what is going on. She fears forgetting Fabián and her son. She only hopes that love is beyond memory. Eva hopes God grants that wish.


 

DEJAN

Part 5

24. Gonzo is back in class promising to attend regularly. He asks Lorena to be a part of the catering business he and his mother are planning. No, Fedora will not be involved. It will be just the three of them. Lorena likes the idea and is in.

25. Sergio is in the hidey hole with Yaya. He wants anything Cholo used to be burned. He is sure the police will be there with a search warrant when they become aware that Yuri was hiding Cholo there. He warns Yaya that they will be putting everyone in jail who was involved in hiding Cholo from the law. Yaya tries to explain she was only obeying Yuri's orders. She asks him not to fire her. He says he can't because Julieta would burn water but he makes it clear that HE is the one who is paying her so HE is the only one whose orders are to be followed. Her loyalty has to be to him. She agrees.

26. Sergio gets a visit from his lawyer Quijada.

27. Karina goes to get Martín from his cell. She is back on the job and his lawyer did her job. Martín is being released. On the way out, he tells Cholo he is going to help him get out. The first thing he is going to do is retract anything he said against him. He apologizes to Cholo. Apology accepted. They shake on it, joke and Martín leaves.

28. Karina escorts Martín out to Yuri and Mabe. He thanks Yuri. She says shimmy be young but she knows what she is doing. Mabe payed his bail. Yuri goes with Karina to sign some forms. Martín thanks Mabe and promises to work like a burro to pay her back for all hews her. Martín gives her a hug. Just when she gets her hopes up, Alicia appear calling out to Martín "her love". . Martín grabs Alicia and kisses her. Alicia thanks Mabe for everything she did. Mabe says all of Martín's work mates are waiting for him to come over to the La Luna bar to celebrate him being a free man. Alicia is invited, too.

29. Julieta is pregnant. Chiquis is all happy. Julieta isn't. She just started her show. It is tragedy. She will have to cancel it in several weeks because she is going to get fat and she will have stretch marks. She is gong o end up being a "doña" like Alicia. No, she prefers to be the most important journalist in Mexico. In ten years, she sees herself as an executive at this network not at some school function with a brat dressed like an octopus. Chiquis insists she can take her place . Furthermore, she thinks Sergio will be super happy. Julieta reminds her that "she" is the one who does the thinking. As for Sergio, he isn't going to think a thing because he is never going to find out. Chiquis in disbelief starts to asks if she is going to . . . Julieta tells her she really doesn't know. She throws the tests in the garbage and gets back to the party.


 

DEJAN

Part 6

30. Quijada has news for Sergio that he isn't going to like. There is going to be a court hearing for the recognition of Lucas's paternity. Sergio is not pleased that Moisés' firm dared to take the case. Quijana tells him he is also being sued by Lucas. Sergio has no other choice but to appear or he could be found in contempt of court whereby the judge would order a DNA test. Sergio doesn't want it to get that far. Sergio says there must be a way out. His lawyer tells him how sensitive family cases are. His son has all the advantages in this case. Sergio insists Lucas is not his son. He calls him his cross, his coffin, a resentful person.

31. Jorge visits Lucas who gives him a box of the best cigars in the world to celebrate their victory. Jorge tells him "you can't cut the birthday cake before singing 'las mañanitas'" Lucas says it is a token his appreciation for Jorge not giving into the pressure. Lucas tells him the party is just getting started.

32. Martín and Alicia are still at the Ministerio Público talking about how well things worked out. He invites her to come with him to celebrate at the bar. He isn't going if she isn't going. They agree to make an appearance to thank everyone for their support and then they can leave. Yuri tells them they can go. Alicia thanks her daughter fo all she did.Martín says she can always count on him. Alicia reminds her they still have something talk about. Yuri is sad about Cholo being stuck in jail. Martín agrees with her and with his dad. Cholo would be incapable of committing murder.

33. Karina pays Cholo a visit by giving the guard a coffee break. She tells Cholo she cannot do much for him right now but she is going to give him some advice. Do not trust anyone here on the inside. It doesn't matter how much they seem to want to help him. he cannot even trust the walls because they talk sometimes. She tells him from now on, he is not to open his mouth even to eat unless Yuri has brought him some food personally. She reminds him to watch out because somebody wants to kill him. It wouldn't be the first time somebody was poisoned behind bars.

34. Martín calls Sofía to tell her he is out. After he goes with Alicia to a bar for a celebration with his work mates, he will stop by to see her and they can go get ice cream. Sofía gives her mother the good news. Carlota assumes he is with his parents. Sofía sets her straight. Neither looks pleased with Alicia being involved.


 

DEJAN

Part 7

35. Martín and Alicia arrive at the bar where Martín is received with cheers. Alicia is off to the side by herself looking like she is feeling out of place.

36. Julieta and Yuri arrive home where Sergio wants to talk. Julieta says she is not feeling well and starts to go upstairs. He tells her to feel bad down here because he is going to talk to Yuri and he wants her to hear what he is going to say.

37. Diablo goes to chat with Alicia who admits to feeling out of place with this group. She is feeling older by the moment listening to the young people thinking that life is going to be a certain way. Diablo calls it "the insolence of youth." She thanks him for the shot he brought her. Martín comes by to check with theist beautiful woman in the world. Alicia says she has to go but he can stay and quickly leaves.

38. Sergio starts about Alicia going off with that imbecile, then Miranda with that shameful video, and Yuri with a criminal, a murderer. Yuri informs him that Cholo is neither of those things. He never thought that Yuri could be brainwashed so quickly. Does she realize the risk she put al lof her family members in? Yuri asks Julieta if she was the one who told him.

39. Miranda and Culebra are walking down the school hall. He suggests they go play some video games after school and then she will have to give him some lovin'. She says okay but first she needs his help so nobody ever has to go through what she did. He agrees.They hug.

40. Julieta is telling Yuri that things didn't happen like she thought they did. Yuri disagrees. They end up screaming at each other. Sergio tells them to calm down. This is a serious matter. All eyes are suddenly on Alicia as she marches in demanding to know what is going on with Yuri. She tells "Sergio Carranza" not to even think of barring her from entering HER own house.

Jarifa - Thank you for your fantastically detailed recap! That must have been a lot of work, especially on such a frustrating episode!

I found last night frustrating because it seemed like a step back after several steps forward. Yes, please give us another scene to demonstrate how out of place Martin and Alicia would supposedly feel as a couple - you haven't beaten that dead horse enough times already! Yes, everyone sit around and talk about what Yuri did instead of talking to Yuri, fantastic idea! I am find it frustrating that Julieta's spent the whole beginning of this show talking about how she wanted her own family and now she's horrified at being pregnant? I agree that horrified at being pregnant fits her personality though but she always said she wanted her own kids.

Highlights:

Miranda suddenly finding all her confidence and swagger - I liked that! Hope it keeps up.

Martin is witness to yet another member of the criminal defense system treating Cholo horribly. Moises basically confessed to being a jealous, unethical, POS who wasn't going to do his job! In front of witnesses!

Yuri apparently does know how to do hers afterall, so maybe Cholo has a chance.

Karina back on the force and warning Cholo to be careful! Yuck, about what she had to sit through to be reinstated.

Martin offering Sofi ice cream - has anyone ever noticed that all Martin and Carlota seem to feed that child is pizza and ice cream?

And finally, and oddly. I found the scenes with Eva and Rebecca to be kind of cute. Eva was oddly tender with her, wonder where that side of her personality comes from? I liked the kiss on the forehead and calling herself an orge. I still hate Eva, but I had to laugh.

SerJerk has to feel the walls closing in now. I can't even predict how he will feel when he finds out that his precious sex doll is pregnant. Will he be thrilled at the prospect of her being sidelined at work (if that is what happens in Mexico) or will be be angry at the inevitable loss of her figure?

I wonder whether he was impotent during Alicia's pregnancies or did he cheat on her then? He's older now so.... hope springs eternal.

I hope Karina didn't have to make a terrible sacrifice to get back to work. How much time passed, anyway?

Miranda in revenge mode. Sounds great and I hope she can do this without getting caught.

Loved Juleech's reaction to her dilemma. I don't think she ever wanted to have children. It doesn't jive with her personality. She is a total selfish bitch who enjoys hurting others. If she had a child she would have several nannies so she wouldn't have to do anything except use the child for photo ops for her image.

Alicia needs to stop blaming herself for what is going on with her children. Two are adults and one is 16. She could not have done anything to prevent any of this. She does need to do something about SerJerk, who is now on the warpath. She needs a tougher lawyer.

Finally, Eva has not earned a pass based on her conversation with Rebecca. Alas, it looks like the writers are gearing up /o do that.

I don’t believe for a moment that Julieta did not know what she was doing and what the repercussions would be. I am reserving my comments on Julieta’s possible pregnancy.

Yuri is moving quickly and glad Martin was released. “everyone sit around and talk about what Yuri did instead of talking to Yuri,” was spot on Darcy. When will the hammer fall charging her?

Alicia feeling out of place at the celebration rang very true and was a sharp insight into two very different worlds where social interaction between their very different group of friends might well be awkward.

“His friend thinks he has two choices: move in with Lorena or break up with her”. Sage advice. Perhaps Gonzalo should have made that decision before inviting her into the catering venture.

Well, here we go . I dont know how the writers will tie up this tale.

Does anyone here know what happens when a female telejournalist in Mexico gets pregnant? Do they hide it behind a desk or are they forced off the air when they gain half a kilogram? Do people there think they lose IQ points at that time? Is that a legitimate threat to their careers?

Just trying to assess Juleech's reaction. We know she is hopelessly vain but we also know she is delusional. Alicia may be 50 but she is beautiful and has no elderly airs about her despite many efforts at convincing her she is old and finished. Juleech has convinced herself that Alicia is over the hill, but any outsider with no skin in this game can see she is far from it.

Juleech, you won't be 28 forever.

I assume she doesn't know about Prudencia and that SerJerk kicked her out of "his" house before he married Alicia. What will he do if the news of Juleech's pregnancy doesn't please him? TN Law forbids the possibility of her being able to keep this a secret and now is the perfect time for this deluge to fall.

Whatever his reaction is, she is not likely to like it. If he wants her to have the baby she will balk at the prospect of becoming the next Alicia. If he sees this as entrapment he will not only not marry her, he will toss her out of "his" house. There is just enough time for her to have an abortion and have him find out after the fact, he will lose his temper at not having been told. That will not be the first time.

He can't control her and that will drive him nuttier than a fruit cake.

Thanks, all. This was another fun one to recap.

Darcy, Miranda’s triumphant return to school was a much needed breath of fresh air last night. I wonder what Nicole is going to try next. She was clearly put off balance by the new Miranda. Will Miranda be able to avoid getting down in the dirt? She has a plan to, but will it work.

Urban, I don’t think hardly any time had gone by at all in Karina’s suspension but it seemed that old perv Mujica was going to sit on its quick and favorable resolution and try to use it somehow to coerce her into something. He always makes my skin crawl when he puts the moves on her. There must be other police stations in the city she could work at but of course this is novelalandia where only “singletons” of services exist.

Diana, yes, Alicia was out of place at the celebration but I was annoyed with her because she seemed to sideline herself rather than trying to join in by at least sitting at the main table. She didn’t have to enjoy herself, just smile and put in an appearance for Martín’s sake. You are so right about Gonzo maybe having invited Lorena into the business venture way too soon. He needs to get himself under control.

Susanlynn, I didn’t see the surprise pregnancy coming either but then again, I do not know if I have ever seen a novela without one. I cannot see Julieta as a mother. They sort of played with idea of abortion being under consideration one more time, but they never go through with it. At least the writers are keeping us surprised.

My favorite scene was Karina warning Cholo about being a marked man in the big house. The scene was creepy, too, as he emerged from the blaze of sunshine shining into his cell.

I keep waiting for Sergio to keel over from the stress but no such luck.

And I had to laugh in that as soon as Gonzalo returned to work, he ran right up to Lorena, once again socializing at work before even working!

Karina is an excellent and fair policewoman. She tries to right the wrongs she sees. I hope she ends up promoted and happy - she deserves more than pining for Martin.

I agree that Alicia sidelined herself. Big mistake. She sees Mabel as competition and that is another mistake. But what else can we expect after everything she's been through?

Martin should have been more proactive in that scene. I miss that quality in galans. No character played by Jorge Salinas would have failed to do so.
 

Thank you for the most excellent and detailed recap. First I do think Mrs. Cleaver..ooops sorry Alicia should have noticed Miranda was an unhappy teen. But I guess it was hard with picking out the perfect outfit to show. Ser to his best. All these teens are screwed up.

They end up in the ER more than people at a gender reveal party. Hmmm great future episode. And no way Ser could be impotent. I am sure he has every "Just answer a few questions and a licensed physician will send you medication in a discreet brown package"

Ser probably orders it in martins name and then has his chauffeur go pick it up.

TU AMOR ep 98 part 1

Claudio and Valentina leave the police station and find a place to have some coffee. Valentina can't believe what type of person Nora has become. She promised her father before he died that she'd take care of her. She believes she let her down and now she's lost her mother's sewing machine, her letters, and the photos that Horacio gave her. Claudio reminds her that she's been a great sister and that Nora has to face the consequences of her own mistakes. He tells her not to lose hope. Claudio gets a call that Carlitos is in the hospital. They head there as quickly as possible.

Guillermo is relieved when Adelaida and David finally get to the station. He says he was really worried. He thought Adelaida might have been in the house. She explains that the battery in her phone was dead. They were just having coffee at a nearby place. He hugs her and smiles in relief.

Ricardo tries to calm his sister. She says she's lost everything and if Guillermo sells the ranch she'll never get it back. Those are just material things, says Ricardo. I could have a crisis and die at any time but you're alive. You need to forget the past and focus on the future. Everything is going to be all right. I love you Ricardo, she says. I couldn't bear losing you again. He holds her and kisses her head.

Lucha and Mechita prepare things at a new house. Nora thinks they have a lot of work to do. Guillermo says it's been years since anyone has lived there. We can stay here while the other house is repaired. Why go back there?, Nora asks. You could use the insurance money to solve the problems with the business. How do you know the house was insured?, Guillermo asks. In any case, I prefer to use the insurance money to repair the house. Selling the ranch will solve the matter of the import business. That's unfair, says Nora. If we have this house, why are you going to sell the ranch? Nobody cares what I think or need. Excuse me. Adelaida gets a text that Carlitos is in the hospital. While David goes for the driver, she asks Guillermo to reconsider withdrawing his support for the orphans.

Everyone gathers at the hospital. Rosa Maria gives an update. Carlitos is stable but they have to do more studies. Camila looks toward David. They have some type of chemistry. She fondly remembers meeting him in the chapel. Adelaida introduces him as her son. Rosa Maria says there is no reason for everyone to stay. Carlitos can't have visitors. Valentina tells Mina that she'll stay with Carlitos along with her guardian angel. Claudio will stay too and call with any news.

Ricardo takes Patricia back to her apartment. He asks if he and Valentina can stay there at least for the night. Patricia tells him she already has a guest. He's the guest?, Ricardo asks, when Hector enters the room. Guests and fish.... Stink after three days, Hector says interrupting. I better go. I have to check on my sister. I need to make sure she's not hanging out with the wrong people. No, I'll go, says Ricardo. I'll find a place to stay. If Valentina can't stay at Guillermo's then I can't either. Say hi to Valentina for me, says Hector. Of course, says Ricardo, and you say hi to Camila.

 

TU AMOR ep 98 psrt 2

When Horacio gets back home he finds some jewelry on the floor. He reluctantly asks Helena if she took it, but she says she never saw it before. He goes to the treasure room and determines that many items are missing. The thief took jewelry but left all the money. Consuelo finds him there. Is all this yours?, she asks. Where did you get all this? It must be worth a fortune. This whole time you've been hiding it from me. Come closer, he says, this treasure is cursed. Right, she answers, cursed. Remember what happened to Brochas and that other guy?, Horacio reminds her. They stole from this room and later they died. That's irrefutable proof that all this is cursed. You had all this money and you didn't help Valentina or Helena?, Consuelo asks. I thought about it, Horacio says. I talked to Claudio about it. Claudio knew it too?, she asks shocked. What is this?, asks Helena stepping into the room.

Helena hears Majo's voice telling her to put what she is feeling into her designs. That's what I'm going to do, she thinks. Design, and not abandon my dreams. She brings a portfolio to a women's fashion magazine called "Illusion". She's immediately recognized by a manager as Helena Vargas, one of the best designers in Mexico. She offers to set up a meeting so they can talk about the brand as well as Helena's designs. Meanwhile, she'll show her around the studio.

Patricia wants Hector to eat something for breakfast but he wants to get going. He needs to find a used fuel pump to fix his cab. Pat says she has a surprise for him. She sets a brand new fuel pump on the table. It's the exact one Hector needs. He says he'll accept it on one condition. That she let's him pay her for it. He says he's really grateful but has to go, or he'll start to cry. He kisses her cheek, grabs a pastry, and leaves. Soon I won't be alone, Patricia thinks, and finally I'll be happy. Hector takes the fuel pump to a mechanic friend and asks him to install it by tomorrow.

Claudio and Valentina talk about Carlitos while they wait at the hospital. Claudio says Carlitos came to the orphanage as a baby and he watched him grow up. His life wasn't always great but he was always optimistic. He's also been a great friend to Mina. Rosa Maria has some bad news for them. Carlitos has a very weak heart. His only hope is for a transplant. He needs a donor as soon as possible. Without it he will die.

Leonardo checks the value of his stolen jewelry on the internet. He's surprised by how much it's all worth. It's enough to survive on, he realizes, and to get Helena out of that stinking barrio. She'll be better off with me, he thinks, than with my loser brother.

A seamstress tells Nora that she needs to take some measurements when she shows up at Yolanda's. Nora says she doesn't have time and doesn't need the stress. She tells Yolanda she needs to speak to her. They go to the office. Everything is going badly, Nora says. My dad's house burned down yesterday and my life is a disaster. Did they tell you what caused the fire?, Yolanda asks. I'm sure that one of the dumb servants left something turned on, Nora claims. And it's not important to you that your father lost the house?, Yolanda asks. He didn't lose it, says Nora, obviously it's insured. What worries me now is that my father will sell the ranch. After the show in Milan you'll have a lot of job offers and make a lot of money, Yolanda says. Why do you insist on keeping that ranch? Because she wants to be the owner of the place where she was born, says Patricia, entering Yolanda's office. Patricia, I know that place is important to you too, Nora admits. Girls, says Yolanda, concentrate your energy on what's important. Victory in Milan, and humiliating Helena and Valentina. Oh sorry. I don't care what you say about Valentina, says Nora, she's not my sister.
 

TU AMOR ep 98 part 3

Guillermo pulls a doll from one of the moving boxes. He flashes back to when he gave it to young Helena. It's beautiful, she says, thank-you. I thought of you as soon as I saw it, he tells her. Thanks for being the best dad in the world, Helena says, giving him a joyous hug. I love you so much. I love you too, he tells her and I'll always be with you. Sadly, his mind returns to the present. He tells Adelaida that lately everything is collapsing. The business is in danger. They lost the house. Soon they won't have the ranch that means so much to the family. The moment has come for us to think about our lives, Adelaida says. I want my son in my future. What do you want Guillermo? Have you thought about it? No, he says, I don't think that way. But I do have something important to tell you and you have the right to know.

Leonardo takes a necklace to a dealer. He says his grandmother left it to him, may she rest in peace. She said it had white gold and genuine pearls. He has to sell it because his father is very sick. The jeweler says he hasn't seen anything like it in years. It's very high quality. It's probably from around 1890 or the beginning of the twentieth century. It's possibly from France. I don't have enough money to purchase this piece, even in my bank account. Frankly, it should be in a museum. A stranger overhears their conversation. As Leonardo leaves the store, he's pistol whipped, and falls to the ground in a pool of blood. The stranger absconds with the necklace.

Guillermo sits with Adelaida on a bench in the yard. He tells her that his heart condition is more serious than they thought. He says he won't survive without a transplant. I didn't want you to worry, he tells her. I didn't want to seem weak. I'm resigned to the fact that I'll die soon. That's why you were in such a hurry to find your daughter, Adelaida realizes. He nods yes with a tear on his cheek. We have to accept reality. You're wrong, Adelaida insists. While we're alive, while we can breath, we have hope brother. We'll fight together until the last moment. Please. Time is running out for me, Guillermo says. Don't say that. No brother, no, please. He holds her and she cries on his shoulder.

Carlitos wants to leave the hospital but Valentina explains that he needs to stay longer. I brought you a present, she says. She gives him a picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She'll take care of you, she says. Valentina puts it above his bed. She's God's mother, Val explains, and she'll never abandon us. Do you think she would want to be my mother too?, asks Carlitos. Of course, says Valentina, she's the mother of all of us. Then I'm not going to be afraid, Carlitos promises. That's good, says Valentina, because you also have me, madre Aurora, Mina, and everyone. You have so many people that love you. You'll get out of here soon, you'll see.

Claudio goes to Rosa Maria's office to make sure that the medical care for Carlitos is covered by insurance. It won't cover everything, she tells him. Hopefully, Guillermo won't withdraw his support. Claudio offers to put the medical studies on his credit card. He gets a call. It's about the account under the name of Valentina Fuentes.


 

TU AMOR ep 98 part 4

Consuelo explains to Helena that Horacio is rich, but claims he can't use the money. You're a miser, Connie tells Horacio. I may be stingy but I never lie, he says. Please understand, you two, all of this is cursed. If anyone uses it a tragedy follows. So many things have happened, says Consuelo, and you could have helped. You could have prevented Yolanda from taking Helena's taller. Thanks, says Helena, but no one is responsible for that except me. You both have helped me a lot. Horacio let me stay here. That's more than enough. Good luck, she whispers to Horacio, and excuses herself. I don't care what Helena says. I don't like that you hid something so important from me, says Consuelo. If you hid something from me I'd forgive you, Horacio claims. Shut up, liar, miser, cheapskate, Connie says, and leaves.

Guillermo calls Enrique to his office. Enrique says he's sorry about what happened to the house. He knows it has a lot of sentimental value. Yes, my children were born there, says Guillermo. I've been thinking about what you advised me. Ceding the ranch to Patricia is more viable than selling it myself. She can help me sell it and the business will recover. If that's what you want, Enrique says, I'll be happy to start the process. Excuse me.

Valentina serves Carlitos some green hospital jello. It's delicious she says, eat. I'm not hungry, he tells her. You have to eat, she insists. What if a family adopts you when you get out of here. You don't want to be scrawny. Do you think Mina's dad would want to adopt me?, he asks. I really like Mina and she would be the best sister. I think Mina would love that idea, says Val. Valentina, Carlitos pleads, Valentina I can't breath. I don't feel well. Valentina I can't breath. Wait, Carlitos, she says as he loses consciousness. Please, quick, A DOCTOR she shouts, running to his side. Carlitos, Carlitos, listen to me!

Jarifa, another wonderful recap, thank you! Glad you had another fun episode to summarize :-)

There were a few things that I found odd and thought that maybe the writers were pulling a fast one or rushing a bit--

1) Eva being nice??? Wow, I thought for sure she'd make some nefarious comment to Rebeca when they were alone outside. I really hope the writers are not planning to redeem her. She has been a real ogre and proud of it; I want to see an anvil for her.

2) Miranda's change of attitude--it seemed too surreal IMO. I had NEVER seen her smile at school and I'm sure her peers hadn't either. Will they think she is high on something??? It looked like Vanessa was having second thougths about following along with Nicole's plans. It would really be nice if Vanessa ratted out Nicole.

3) Alicia feeling out of place at the celebration--are the writer's trying to fool us into thinking that Alicia will end her relationship after all this time? Jarifa, "she seemed to sideline herself rather than trying to join in by at least sitting at the main table." Good point! I'm wondering if she simply didn't have the energy or desire to be there. She has so many other problems going on; maybe she was feeling overwhelmed???

As everyone else, I was totally blown over with Julieta's pregnancy. I don't think Serg will be pleased and not sure what Julieta will do. We know she does not want this pregnancy because her career would be put on hold, but she may be compelled to go through with the pregnancy. Julieta wants to be seen as a martyr and a goddess by the public so if she has an abortion and the public finds out, her career would be in jeopardy too. If she does have it and has nannies raise it, it might be to the baby's benefit; I just can't see Julieta being a good mom.

JoelD and Susanlynn, I noticed that several of your comments in particular went into the Spam folder. If you don't see your comments published right away, that's probably where they went. As a precaution, I would advise that you write your comments on a Word doc or some type of Notepad so that if they "disappear," you can save yourself from trying to remember what you wrote.

TU AMOR. Excellent recap, JoelD! Why on earth would Nora think Claudio is really her prometido? She is really delusional. Claudio and Val are so cute together. All of a sudden Ricardo doesn't care about material things? Sure. Then why doesn't he fix the financial mess he got Valentina into? I'm not sure Camila and David have a future together. He's a little old for her. Not only did Leo leave evidence of his theft but he got what he deserves. I assume he will survive, and will no doubt try to conceal the reason he was hit on the head. I'm glad to see that Helena is finding her way. Suspense! Will they find a new heart for Carlitos? Consuelo is yet another character who is too unwilling to listen. I wonder if she'll believe Horacio's fortune is cursed after what happened to Leo. And when will this novela start saying Ultimos capitulos and start resolving some of these many crises?

I can't believe there are only 13 episodes left.

I know a diabetic man who can't use Viagra. I don't see SerJerk hitting the bottle like many journalists do, but diabetes can frequently result in impotence in men, estimated at 35-75%. He is probably not eating properly right now that Alicia isn't cooking for him and Juleech will not. Nor would she learn what his needs are. She is only looking out for Number 1.

Alicia has other things to worry about at the moment, especially Yuri. That girl is hip deep in trouble now after hiding Cholo in the house. Alicia never knew, but SerJerk refuses to believe her. He has the narcissistic need to destroy.

I also wonder whether Alicia can still become pregnant; did we ever hear that she is menopausal? It would be the ultimate irony if she ends up knocked up and her kids and Sofie have to deal with getting a half-sibling. We know that Alicia would not have an abortion.

Having said that, I will say that it irritates me that only "bad" girls in these stories even consider this.

“Shut up, liar, miser, cheapskate, Connie says, and leaves”. To be fair, I’d share Connie’s outrage. Everything is falling down around them and Horacio has a hidden King Midas mine?? But now that Leo’s flat out (so to speak) along with the criminals who perished, it might be time to re-evaluate. Perhaps the curse only affects those with evil in their hearts.

Not everyone likes jello 😊. I have no worries about him. Others? Yes.

I know there are protocols for waiting lists but not sure how they work. Once you get a "place" is it final or can it change to put younger recipients ahead? I think Rosa would need to follow that, no matter what she might want to do.

If not, I do see Guillermo giving it to Carlitos. After all, it's not Helena who needs the heart.
