RGVChick, you said that we will have preemptions on Thursday. You have listed only two episodes instead of three for each of the telenovelas for the Univisión #1 page, though.

Did you mean to list three but listed two, or will the preemptions be on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday? I'm asking because I want to start recapping Tuesday's episode for Mujer de Nadie from today, but if it's preempted in America, there's no need for me to recap it.

When I last checked, we're still in the STUPID STAGE of this Telenovela (I can see why Televisa shortened it to only 45 episodes).

In the Philippines: the recently-ended ABS-CBN Teleserye "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" lasted 7 years for 9 Seasons with 1,696 episodes from September 28th, 2015 to August 12th, 2022.

Just a couple of quick comments. As expected, the usual recurring "Will Nacho realize Sebastián and Diego are gay, or not?" bit finished with him no wiser. Ho, hum.

The daring team of Marcia and Bonifacio managed to extricate Luis from captivity, but now Marcia is all upset for Luis. They really did seem to treat him badly at that asylum, leaving him constrained and lying on the floor. What now for René?

I expect doña Maty's winning streak to come to a crashing end tonight. We'll see.

Megan breaks up with Brandon; I’m hoping Viiyéri will fill the void quickly. Gonzalo is saved from choking (not sure how I feel about this). 😊

I have to ask. What was the cute critter on the restaurant table? It didn’t look like a guinea pig and seemed too big to be a rat (?)

Mario wants Ignacio to stay away from Sophia, but it’s fine for him to sleep with Gladys?? Seb and Diego jumped on the bandwagon quickly.

Diana, I haven't seen tonight's episode as yet, so I can't comment about it, but the "cute critter" is Murciélaga's pet hedgehog, named "Púas" (spines, sharp points, etc.)

We wondered about it early in the show, and I had no idea, but SpanProf turned out to be right about it.

"Sebastian is a pompous ass." Ah, yes, everybody's favorite character   :-)

I wasn't worried about Gonzalo in any event and I had to laugh at his impression of someone choking, but it was fun to see Helena and Rocio do a cooperative Heimlich on him.
That the food he was choking on landed on Megan's plate was icing on the cake. Poor Megan. Run, Megan, run! Get away from this crazy family   :-)

Boiler and Jaime managed to get doña Maty out of the casino before she blew all her winnings! This surprised me.

"The house you are giving Mami, why not put it in my name to keep her from selling it?" Well, of course, Andrea! Why didn't I think of that?

But Maty is having none of it, she explodes with venom about her two faithless, thankless children, Tyler and Andrea. I thought she was going to have a stroke she was so excited, in a very bad way.

I regret giving birth to either one of you! Wow!

Andrea must feel like a yo-yo sometimes, one minute she's up, the next she's down.

All this and Marcia too, with Luis as a topping. I got so involved I forgot all about Mario and Gladys, but I hope to see more of them soon.

I honestly thought Gonzalo was having a seizure. I've never seen someone's eyes roll, head lolling from side to side from someone choking! But, what do I know? :)

Andrea is SO thoughtful "helping" Tyler with his dilemma, offering to have him put her name on the deed. Maty was indeed livid.

"Andrea must feel like a yo-yo sometimes, one minute she's up, the next she's down" was exactly right Andy!

Just watching Andrea is tiring. It must be exhausting to be her.

Mexicana. Great comments, Andy and Diana. Sebastian is a pompous ass, but he's being a surprisingly good sport about Katya since Diego's accident. I hope he does tell his parents that he's gay. That kind of thing can be a real test of parental love. I know of a couple of cases of extremely conservative parents who accepted that a child was gay and it's ok because its THEIR kid.
 

Mujer De Nadie #36 08/22/2022

Here's your recap of what was an excellent episode, I'm going to get some of the fluff out of the way so we can get to the more meaty stuff!

Michelle, Alfredo and Nestor:

Martha calls Fernando and interrupts a private moment between him and Paulina, she tells him that she's worried about Michelle and Fernando ends up going to Alfredo's house, Alfredo claims that Michelle has a migraine and that she mixed medication and booze which is why she is so out of it. Fernando hits Alfredo and carries Michelle out of Alfredos lair. Eh, she's such a miserable person that I would have left her there.

Once at home Michelle tells her family that Alfredo was blackmailing her, she tells them that in attempt to help Alfredo she sought a job in Alejandra's brothel and that Alfredo threatened to out her if she did not stay with him.

The next day Carlos goes to Alfredo's house and beats the snot out of him, he warns him to stay away from his sister, Alfredo tells Carlos that everyone in his family is a criminal, including his mom, Carlos punches him in the face.

Michelle seeks out Nestor, she tries to get him to go out with her and tells him that she is done with Alfredo. I was going to start another prayer circle for Nestor but plot twist! It turns out that Nestor is gay! Wooooooooooh. I'm so happy, may he find happiness far far away from Michelle.

Paulina is not well, she calls her doctor to set up an appointment, her symptoms are not going away, she's tired all the time and she's getting bruises all over her body. Ohh no, I really like her.

 

Mujer De Nadie Parte Dos

Alejandra and Fernando meet at her house, she tells him that Lucia is back in town and that she wants him to go after her and fix things, he reminds her that Lucia has made the choice to be with Rafael, even though he put him in jail and is responsible for Roxana's death. Alejandra tells him to got him our of prison so that he could be with Lucia.

Fernando goes to leave and bumps into Valentina and Casilda, he congratulates Casilda on her new baby and asks to hold Valentina. Casilda look mega uncomfortable as Fernando holds the baby and tells her she's beautiful and that they will be great friends. Fernando starts to tell Casilda that he feels a strong bond towards Valentina but just then Isaura shows up and takes the baby from him, she tells him that everyone feels that way when they hold babies and then tells Casilda that they are late for a pediatrician visit, the two women and the baby leave. Justice for Valentina!

SpanProf, it will be interesting to see how this trip home to tell the parents goes. If they have been shown, I haven't seen them and don't know anything about them.

I have a sneaking suspicion all will not go smoothly. I hope I'm wrong, especially for Diego's sake.

Lucia's Revenge:

Guys, scenes like these are what I live for!

We join Lucia and Rafael at the party thrown by Gertrudis and Heriberto, Lucia looks stunning, even if her dress looks like a giant bed comforter. Rafael let's Heriberto and Lucrecia know that Lucia is the chief investor in their business, all of their money is in her hands. Lucia tells the stunned couple that she has plans for San Jacinto and then she suggests a toast, they toast to their money being in very good hands...Lucia's hands! I would pee my pants if all my money was in the hands of my worst enemy.

Lucrecia and Lucia find themselves alone, Lucy points out that the necklace that Gertrudis has on looks just like one that Aljenadra had, then she invites Gertrudis out to lunch the next day.

Heriberto and Rafael argue, it's the same argument as before, Rafael knew that Heriberto wanted Lucia and still went after her, Rafael reminds him that someone had to win her over, and this time it was his turn to win.

After the party is over Rafael wants to share a drink with Lucia, Lucia tells him she is done drinking for the night. Rafael worries that once she gets what she needs from him she will dump him, she tells him not to worry, that she knows how to be loyal to those that help her and kisses him in he cheek.

The next morning Gertudis and Heriberto fight some more, she's upset about her money being in Lucia's hands and she warns Heriberto that he will be sorry if something happens to her cash, he tells her everything will be fine and that she has nothing to worry about, although he later has a conversation with Rafael and it is clear that he too is worried about his money, Rafael promises him that everything will be okay.

Lucia and Gertrudis meet, Gertrudis compliments Lucia's car and asks her if Rafael gifted her the car, Lucia says he did and Gertrudis tells her Rafael loves women like her, he likes to be able to buy their affection, that's what he did with Roxana. Lucia tells Gertrudis that that's life, sometimes you trade love for money, sometimes you trade money for younger men, Gertrudis is speechless.

Lucia takes her to the cemetery, she tells her not to be scared, the dead can't harm you the way the living can, then she tells her that her baby is buried there and that she is responsible for her death. Lucia warns Lucrecia that she will get payback, when Lucrecia least expects it, when she feels safe and happy, that's when she will strike!
 

Mujer De Nadie #36 Last Part

The truth about the baby:

Alejandra is about to walk in to the nursery when she overhears Casilda and Isaura talking, Casilda is asking Isaura where her baby is buried, her baby was not an old dress to be tossed out like it didn't matter and she wants to know where she is, Alejandra walks away with this very important information.

Isaura later makes her way downstairs, Leonardo walks in and Isaura tries to convince him to marry Casilda, it is the only legal way to have any claim to Casilad's money. Leo refuses, he can barely stand her and the only reason he's still around is because of the baby. Isaura tells him that he might be handsome but he's pretty stupid, Alejandra walks in and Leo excuses himself.

Alejandra: "Casilada's baby died, didn't it? The baby that's upstairs belongs to someone else, does Leonardo know?"
Isaura"......."
Alejandra: " oh, he doesn't know! I have all the power now!"

It was an amazing scene guys!

The episode ends with Lucia bumping into Fernando at her father's grave.

Good stuff, Juju, and you cleared up something I was confused about.

The one thing I think Alfredo really deserves is torture. May he end up in the toughest prison in Mexico where he is beaten up daily by inmates while the guards play poker two cell blocks away.

Gertrudis will suffer an ugly fate for her actions even though Lucia doesn't yet know that her baby is alive. She and Heriberto will likely go down together.

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 37, Martes, August 23, 2022 - Parte 1/5

A shorter recap today because I'm busy (some scenes may not be in order):

Lucía is with Fer right next to their daughter's grave. Lucía says that Fer killed Roxana, who was pregnant with his baby and Fer asks her who told her that Rox was pregnant. Lucía says that that's not important and calls him a murderer. Fer tells her that he didn't kill Rox and told her that to protect her, but Lucía doesn't believe him. Fer says that he loves her and he's sure she loves him too, but Lucía tells him she hates him, so we know she loves him. Fer warns her about Rafael, but she insists that he's the only one that truly loved her and was with her when she needed him, unlike Fer. What did he (Fer) give her? Nothing, unlike Raf. (I wish I could teleport there and slap her.)

Ale is glad Isaura didn't say anything to Casilda about the inheritance. She says that she won't file a complaint saying about the baby she gave to Casi. Isa says that it was an orphan and would end up in an orphanage. Ale threatens her, saying that if she talks, she'll end up in jail. To make Isa feel worse (she deserves it) she orders her to go clean the toilets of the club.

The irritating scene between Lucía and Fer continues. Lucía says that everything is Fer's fault, Fer says it's Rafael's, but she doesn't believe him. She says that he wasn't there when she needed him (should he apologize for being locked up in jail for a crime he didn't commit?) and says that he betrayed her like Alfredo! She adds a "gracias a ti soy loca" and leaves. Fer says her name, but she doesn't go back.

Gertrudis is upset because Lucía led her to her ("Lucía's") dead daughter's grave and told her that it's her fault. Lucía said that when Gert will be calm and relaxed, she'll take revenge on her. Heri tells her to calm down and then Juventino and the woman who looks after him come. Gert reassures him and they leave for his therapy. Heri tells Gert that Lucía is the same Lucía she was before and that Raf's on their side. Gert receives a box with the same creepy statue-like miniature thing Heri got and Heri tells her that he got the same. Anxious looks.

Lucía remembers that time when Fer told her he killed Rox.

Pilar tells Pablo, who got out of jail, that his dad made many calls to get him out and that he's angry, but mostly worried. Pablo wants to go home and doesn't act like a butthole for once.
 

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 37, Martes, August 23, 2022 - Parte 2/5

Casi tells Isa that Leo is cheating on her with Casandra and that Casandra is the profile she made on the app. Isaura says that she has her own problems and tells Casi to leave. She's angry, but she leaves.

Lucía is talking with Gert on the phone and says that she send them these statues to remember her, since they're socios and all. Gert tells her that she may fool Heri, but can't fool her. Lucía acts as if they were pals since forever and Gert tells her to drop the act and let the masks fall. Lucía hangs up and tells Toña, who just came, that she met with Fer earlier. Toña says that she still loves him and Lucía says that she's not going to tell her that she's in love with the man that made her hurt and suffer so much. She adds that she won't shed another tear (for Fer I suppose, or her enemies in general).

Michelle feels like Néstor used her but he explains that he didn't, he thought Michelle was the perfect woman for him, but it can't work this way. He still thinks she's an incredible woman, says that it was hard for him to tell her all of this and he understands if they won't be friends anymore. Michelle says that she's very proud of him and they hug.

They show us the baby and then Casi, putting her mask on. She video-calls Leo through the app. He accepts the call. Casi is using a voice changer and asks him if he wants to sleep with her. He says yes and "Casandra" (Casi) shifts the conversation to his wife (herself). He says that he became a victim of his own mission and Casi asks for more info, but Leo tells her that they'll say more tonight. He asks her what time they'll meet, but the app freezes and he never gets his answer.

Gabino is screaming at his son for getting locked up. When he leaves, Gab says that he's spoiled and Pilar tells him that at least he agreed to let her stay here for the night and that both he and his son are the same, they should listen to each other but they don't. Gab tells her that she always says something wise.

Ale calls Raf. She wants to talk to Lucía. He says that Ale is dead for Lucía and that she doesn't want to talk to her as Lucía comes right behind him. He tells her what he said and passes her the phone (by the way, such an ugly phone). She tells Ale that she's muy bien with a man who loves her, respects her and treats her like a queen, isn't this what Ale wanted? She hangs up and gives the phone back to a smiling Rafael.
 

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 37, Martes, August 23, 2022 - Parte 3/5

Leo is pretending to be tired to Casi. She asks him if one day he wants to sleep with her. He says "do you want the truth or a lie?" and Casi tells him that he doesn't know anything about what the truth is and leaves.

Leo types a message and sents it to "Casandra" (Casi). It says: "Casandra, I can't take it anymore with what I'm living. Help me, pretty one. Only you can help me forget this hell even a bit." Casi receives the messages and sees it.

(The scene with Leo and Casi from Parte 2 may be somewhere around here. Unfortunately, the person who uploaded the video confused some parts, so I guessed the order of some scenes.)

Diego goes to talk to doctor Molina (Paulina's doctor). He tells Diego that Pau told him to to say anything, but he'll tell him; Pau is sick for several months, she has cancer, acute leukemia. Diego wants a second opinion, can't believe it. The doctor says that he can get a second opinion, but she does have a very advanced stage of cancer. The only thing he can do is support her.

Heri is with Lucía and they talk about business. I mean, Lucía talks about business, he's just starting at her. He says that he's impressed by her, she has changed so much. Lucía says that they have to see the future; he's the Presidente Municipal and she's a businesswoman. Someone reminds Heri that he has to talk to the secretary of the Municipal Presidency or something like that and tells Lucía to go to his office, it's more comfortable. She does go, sees his open pc and opens a folder. She sees that he still has the photos Alfredo took on a folder! Heri is standing at the door and says "you couldn't contain yourself". (Useless Fun Fact of the Day: Heriberto has a computer with Linux operating system.)

A nurse tells Paulina that she can leave. Diego is there and actually behaves like a decent human being. Paulina says that she's going to die but he says no, she's going to be fine. He apologizes about a hundred times (good) and Paulina tells him she loves him. They hug.

Lucía is with Heri and tells him that she knows he kept the photos of her. Heri says "let's not make a fuss about it"(!!!) He tells her it was Alfredo who took the photos, but Lucía doesn't believe him(???) I thought Lucía knew it was Alfredo? Heri adds that it was him (Alfredo) who arranged their meet-up at the hacienda, but Lucía wants to hear it herself.
 

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 37, Martes, August 23, 2022 - Parte 4/5

Heri calls Alfredo and clicks the speaker button so Lucía can hear the call too (don't remember the English word, I searched the Greek words but no accurate translations). Alfredo answers Heri's questions, says that he still has some photos of Lucía and that it'll be harder to arrange another meeting with her and Heri. Heri hangs up and asks Lucía if she believes him now and comments that she's speechless, she says that he's the one that will be left speechless and leaves. Heri asks her "what do you mean?" but she doesn't answer.

Another one of these creepy statues is delivered to one of Lucía's enemies, to Alfredo to be exact. To be completely honest, I hate these little statues. If I had to choose between this thing and an elf in the self, I would wholeheartedly choose the elf. At least the elf won't be hand-less, white, with weird swirls drawn on it that makes your skin crawl... This will be in my nightmares tonight. Anyway. Lucía calls Alfredo. He says he misses her and has been thinking of her blah blah blah. She wants to meet up with him, he agrees. She says that she's very close to his apartment.

Leo and Isaura are talking. He says he can't do this anymore, Isa tells him that things are complicated now. Leo insists; he despises Casilda. Casi is listening...

Lucía goes to Alfredo's. She says that she send him that statue and Alfredo seems pleasantly surprised. Lucía adds that she send his this gift for the "old times". Alfredo goes to get wine.

Isaura tells Leo that he's living a life of luxury. Leo says that if Isa keeps pushing him, he'll tell Casi that he's with her of pity. Isa says that Leo isn't with her out of pity, he's with her because he knows that all this money belongs to Casi and adds that he should be sweeter with her. Casi is still listening and is very confused.

Alfredo toasts to he and Lucía's reunion, so does Lucía. They sit down and Lucía tells him that she wanted to hear from him. Alfredo tells her that he has been thinking about what happened and he was wrong. Lucía says that he should calm down, they should get something to eat, talk, drink more wine and then go to his room. Alfredo goes to call a French restaurant and while he's gone to another room, Lucía puts some drops of something that she had in a little bottle in Alfredo's wine!
 

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 37, Martes, August 23, 2022 - Parte 5/5

Fer is talking to the phone with his mom, tells her that Pau was tired e.t.c. He hangs up, because someone's at the door. That "someone" is Diego, who tells him that today is the worst day of his life and that Pau is dying.

Lucía toasts to "what will happen today". Alfredo tells her that he hasn't stopped thinking of her and that she's the woman of his life. He says that he feels hot, he starts feeling the effects of whatever Lucía put in his drink. He adds that today is the happiest day of his life and they both get up.

He kisses Lucía in the neck and she tells him that she knew he took the pictures of her and gave them to Heriberto. Alfredo pretends to be innocent, even says that he wanted to kill Heri but he couldn't do anything because he was surrounded by many people!!!! He says that if she wants to take revenge, he has many information about Heri; the frauds he's done with the government, the women he's raped e.t.c. Lucía tells him that she was there when Heri called him and heard about the cameras and that he helped Heri to almost rape her. Alfredo falls to the floor, gets up and tries to attack Lucía, but falls back down before he can even touch her (he drank all the wine, you see).

And with Alfredo on the floor and Lucía's look full of hatred, anger and disgust, we have the Fin del Capítulo.

Weirdo thank you for a great recap of this episode as this show gets crazier and crazier. For some reason, the writers decided to take the character of Lucia completely off the tracks . She believes everything smarmy , smiling , solitious Rafael tells her . She believes without question that the love of her life Fernando killed Rotten Roxy because she was pregnant with his child. Really? What happened to being his ride or die? When you love soneone, you trust and support them. You have their back . I cannot buy this storyline or the idea that Lucia decides to live with Rafe . They lost me.

Good work, Weirdo. Only 8 episodes to go.

There also was a promise that she and Fernando would always be honest with each other. He told her he killed Roxana so she believed him. Lucia is using Rafael so she can get revenge. That is how this game is played here. The dominoes will start falling shortly and I want to know what Lucia put in Alfredo's glass.

Not sure which of the characters deserves the worst fate, but Alfredo is the genesis of all this evil.

Luis telling Zulema “no drama”? He is nothing but.

The Tyler/Maty scene was so emotional. “I love you mother”. Oh boy. There is scamming and then there is this. I couldn’t live with myself. It appears Maty does care about him. But, lie after lie, after lie.

I did gather Mario seemed surprised Gonzalo admitted there is “a possibility” of him getting divorced.

Looking forward to the further adventures of Diego and Sebastian.

Was the man who forced his way in confronted by Luis and then Andrea one of her former “marks”?

René continues abusing poor Zulema. Will he one day realize that nobody else would put up with his nonsense?

OK, so Sebastián's mom is coming to town soon. This should be interesting. And he was decent admitting that Katya should not live in a lie, but he's still a jerk and worse. He doesn't even realize how he rained on poor Paulina's parade. He's worse than dense. Of course, Paulina is a little dense herself.

Run, Paulina, run! Run away from this guy, and take Diego with you, he could still be saved.

Mario seeking Gonzalo for a little brotherly advice had me laughing; Mario's admitting he was falling for Gladys had me cheering, with some reservations; dumb Gonzalo's saying he might himself be looking for a divorce soon had me boiling. The dummy.

Andrea played doña Maty who, well, made up with Boiler.

"The Tyler/Maty scene was so emotional. “I love you mother”. Oh boy. There is scamming and then there is this. I couldn’t live with myself. It appears Maty does care about him. But, lie after lie, after lie."
Yeah, even Chabela is a little upset about deceiving Tyler now. And Maty does love Tráiler, sort of, he is the son she never actually had. Kind of, sort of. Maybe.

All the people in this "family" are becoming something resembling a real family.

Marcia gives Viiyéri some motherly advice; Andrea warns Marcia; Viiyéri warns her parents, especially Boni; René springs Katya's fake father on Andrea.

"The man who forced his way in confronted by Luis and then Andrea..." is a hard drinking, down-on-his-luck type (an actor, maybe?) that Andrea hired to pretend to be Katya's father because Katya was becoming too insistent about finding her father. Andrea paid him to play daddy to Katya in a bar, and then let her know he wanted nothing more to do with her. Andrea hoped this would stop Katya's investigations. It did, but it looks like the guy thinks he can put the touch on Andrea now. Why René is so upset, I don't know.

And Chabela got a full body workout drying salad greens. What more could we ask for in a telenovela?

Susanlynn, I agree, the writers lost me too. Even if Lucía believed Fer because they promised each other they would never lie, wouldn't she believe that he's innocent and said he killed Rox to protect her, as he said?

Also, I don't think Lucía would get revenge. I just don't think she's the type.

"I cannot buy this storyline or the idea that Lucia decides to live with Rafe ." Well, she "did it for revenge" and doesn't really love him, but, again, I don't think she's that type of person. It just doesn't match her personality at all. Not all plot lines fit all characters.

Lucia asked coldly how Alfredo could justify everything he did to her.

Diego told Fernando about Paulina's diagnosis and that Paulina loved him. Fernando later told Marta.

Gertrudis was tending to Juventino when Heriberto entered. She told him that Lucia had been there. Before she could say more he took a call that caused him to leave.

Heriberto went to Alfredo's place and found him on the floor. He regained consciousness and Heriberto told him that Lucia had called. Lucia appeared and played back the recording of Alfredo's confession and his [possibly false] promise to reveal more damning things about Heriberto in exchange for no charges against himself. Lucía made it clear that she owns all of Heriberto and Gertrudis' fortune, so now she has them in her hands. She left them alone. On her way away Casilda called her for help.

A lawyer presented a copy of the medical examiner's report to Alejandra which disclosed that Roxana was not pregnant.

Alfredo proposed to Heriberto to take revenge on Lucía.

Casilda asked Lucía for help to find out what inheritance Leonardo and Isaura are talking about. She was very confused and also upset that Leonardo did not want to be with her.

Lucia went back downstairs and may have overheard something said by Isaura about Leonardo marrying Casilda to get his hands on her money. He resisted this, saying the thought of having sex with Casilda made him sick. [I even guess greed has its limits.]

Michelle saw a shrink and told Marta it went well. All this fear of abandonment was about when her father abandoned his family.

Lucia questioned Pilar, who initially would not talk. Gabino finally revealed to Lucía that Sandra was the owner of a brothel, but after Casilda's birth, she became ill and later died, so she entrusted Alejandra with the business and asked her to take care of her daughter, a promise she did not keep since she took all her fortune. Pilar confessed that she did nothing out of loyalty to Alejandra. Lucia was done with this and left. Pilar told Gabino she would not forgive him for revealing this.

Diego pursued Claudia again. Carlos looked on jealously then left. They were supposed to meet.

Fernando made breakfast for Paulina who was not in a great mood. She finally asked if he knew she was dying. He later told her he wanted to help, to take care of her. They kissed.

Lucia told Casilda the truth about the inheritance. Casilda cried, realizing that her mother was dead.

Alejandra left a message for Fernando that they needed to meet. When she ended the call Pilar entered to tell her that Casilda knew everything.

Rafael saw Lucia holding the baby and got nervous. He then called Isaura to tell her to find a way for Casilda to take care of his daughter and not Lucía.

Claudia went to Carlos' house and waited for him. Michelle left them alone to talk. No solution. Michelle told him after she left that Claudia worked for Alejandra to have the money to take care of her mother. He ran out after Claudia to apologize and express his feelings for her. This ended in a kiss.

Alejandra was furious with Pilar and she said this was inevitable. Casilda entered and complained to Alejandra for what her theft and abuse and threatened to denounce her.

Alfredo was warned by someone from work that he was about to be arrested. The police caught him with his suitcases.

Alejandra lied to Casilda to win back her trust, saying she was innocent and ignorant of the world, but also saying that she was without beauty or charisma. She tried to say she was protecting her, finally saying she loved her more than Lucia, her own daughter. Casilda looked confused, as usual.

Lucia tried for a meeting with Gertrudia, who refused. As Lucia was leaving Alejandra's house with the baby she encountered Fernando, who asked whose baby it was.

When taking Juventino out in the wheelchair Gertrudis discovered that a video of her with Pedro was leaked on the internet.

Lucía told Fernando that the baby was Casilda's. After handing her to the maid she told him all about her pain, ending with her telling him he had killed her love when she was pregnant and that he therefore had no right to know she was pregnant. She started to cry.

Urban, wow , thank you for that great recap of an episode with a lot happening . I haven't watched yet, but when I do , I will know what people are saying and doing.

I have a couple of questions . Why would Fernando ask Lucia who the baby was? Wasn't he holding the baby and talking to Casilde a couple episodes ago ! Also, how is Lucia in control of Heri and Gert's fortunes?

Why would anyone want a shallow, cruel, egotistical person like Leo . Poor Casilde is constant!y told how homely she is by Ale, Leo, and Isaura. I hope she gets some happiness and confidence .

It looks like kind, compassionate Fernando will give Paulina a happy ending with his love ,affection ,and caring . Now that ....is a hero.

Well, I guess Ale will let Fernando know about the report that Roxy wasn't pregnant . Will Lucia listen to her if she tries to tell her?

Casilde now knows that Ale stole her inheritance which means Isaura has lost that blackmail point. I want a big anvil for Isaura ,who loves nobody and only takes advantage of everyone and every situation she can .
 

Mexicana. More great observations, Andy and Diana!. I do think that Zulema should quit and walk away from that abusive boss. Washing all the cars on the lot was way more than a step too far! And what do you want to bet that Erika's great new job will require her to move away from Mexico City?

Not my best literary effort, but mundane life catches up with all of us.

Alfredo had been drugged when he deserved to be poisoned. While I think Lucia intended for him and Heriberto to be at each other's throats they may just team up against her.

Casilda is not equipped to deal with being an adult. She will need years of therapy to recover from what's been happening to her.

Isaura must die along with Alfredo. The others an rot in prison.

So, I like Mario but to be honest, Gladys is just vanilla. She's just there. Perhaps she has sparkled but I've not seen it. Perhaps a more subdued and less emotional partner is what he needs at this point. She does seem like a good person who genuinely cares about Mario.

Bile rises everytime I see Gonzalo now. Helena has done nothing to deserve his treachery, yet he continues to betray her. Where is his conscience??

SpanProf, why Zulema puts up with Rene is a mystery. She isn't the only one he's abused - I still see Luis tied up on the cement floor. I am all for a hefty anvil poised and ready to fall.

SpanProf, excellent speculation that Erika will send herself packing, out of town and out of the storyline. I bet you are excactly right.

All in all, Andrea did a good job in her family recruitment. The interloper now making demands is a noteable exception. He looks shifty and shady. Andrea's "rat" radar must have been turned off the day she interviewed him. Where were the warning bells??

"All the people in this "family" are becoming something resembling a real family" said it perfectly Andy. Dysfunctional at best but oh, so very real. As real as not real can be of course. :)

Finally had a chance to watch the whole show . I surf in during commercials on Telemundo.

Wow, I think Lucia is finally seeing Isaura's true nature . Lucia was giving her a stone cold look.
