Ep. #57 p. 1 of 2

Two guys claiming to be police tell Riza they need another statement from him. He has to go with them. They take him away in an unmarked car. Hmmm. Riza finally becomes suspicious when they don't seem to be heading toward the police station. "Where are you taking me?" One of the guys points a gun at him and tells him to shut up.

Necla comes to see Adalet, who is in bed the prison infirmary. She tells Necla she's feeling OK, they pumped her stomach. Necla says she brought what Adalet requested. She and Adalet change places. Necla gets into the bed and puts the covers up. Adalet changes into an outfit like the one Necla was wearing. She tells Necla to say she was forced to do this, thanks her profusely, and walks out.

The two fake police deliver Riza to the barred cage that Cesur has built.

The DA calls Suhan and arranges to meet and talk at Cafe Korludag.

Riza asks Cesur whether he's lost his mind. Cesur tells him he's going to stay in the cage until he tells Cesur everything.

At Cafe Korludag, the DA asks Suhan why her father gave Riza the hotel. She says he did it in recompense for what Adalet did to Riza many years ago. The DA seems doubtful; he says it looks to him as if Riza is blackmailing her father. Turan has apparently developed a little of Riza's ability to be everywhere. He's at the Cafe and overhears what the DA says. He comes over and asks the DA whether that's why the police came for Riza again today. The DA is puzzled; he's not aware of any reason the police would take Riza away again.

Cesur asks Riza what role he played in Cesur's mother's death. And how did Riza manage to scare Tahsin (TK) into keeping quiet?

The DA asks to see the security cameras. He sees that the two guys were dressed like police but they weren't. Suhan asks "Who could have done this?" The DA replies, "I have someone in mind." He calls the two policemen who are staking out Rifat's garage and tells them to be sure that Cesur is still there. We see a white car pull into Rifat's garage. Rifat talks to the two policemen outside, giving the hidden Cesur time to get out of the white car. Cesur then comes over and asks the policemen "What's the problem?"

The police also arrive at TK's looking for Adalet, who has escaped from prison. TK denies knowing anything about this. He starts coughing. The police tell him not to leave town, and then they leave.

We see that Reyhan is back at TK's. Korhan is delighted and asks her to sit and have dinner with them. She thanks him but leaves. Cahide then tells Korhan that she has found out what TK plans to bid. (Didn't he already win? Is this round two?) Korhan dismisses Cahide's claim and says someone is probably messing with her. Cahide insists her informant is trustworthy. Korhan says he will do everything by the book. Cahide tells him he'll be sorry.

Necla phones TK and tells him Adalet is waiting for him in the place he knows.

Suhan asks Cesur whether he knows where Riza is. Cesur reponds, "I don't know what you want to hear. Why do you ask?" She tells him she's worried for him. He claims he's taken precautions. "Ah, you admit it," she says. He asks, "How can you criticize me when you're always hiding things." She claims she's not hiding anything. (For some reason, her nose doesn't grow longer.) Cesur asks her to stay with him. She says she'd better not.

Adalet and TK meet. She tells him she was afraid she'd never see him again and is very worried because he's so ill. He assures her he's in good health. She tells him that Riza said she should break off contact with TK or else. She then says, "There's only one way to deal with Riza." TK says it's not so simple, Riza gave a video to a friend. Adalet points out that Riza doesn't have any friends.

Ep. 57 p. 2 of 2

Suhan drives to Rifat's garage and watches. She sees the white car leave. She follows it. She sees it go to the warehouse and then, seconds later, leave again.

Cesur asks Riza whether he's ready to talk. No. Why not? I'm hungry. Suhan then sees Cesur leave on foot. She gets out of the car and enters the warehouse. She sees Riza in the cage. Riza asks Suhan if she's involved. "If you care about your father, get me out of here." She agrees, as long as he promises to tell no one about this, nor that Cesur kidnapped him. Riza agrees. He says, "I'll do whatever it takes to win your heart and trust." Suhan gets something to try to break the lock on the cage. It doesn't work. Cesur returns. He's astonished to see Suhan. "Did you follow me?"

Suhan tells Cesur she's not leaving until he releases Riza. She's worried that if Riza had something to do with Cesur's mother's death, Cesur will kill him. She begs him to let Riza go. He tells her that this is none of her business, and she should please leave. "If that's what you want," she says, and she walks away. [If she had told him about the baby, as she should have, he might well have acted differently.]

Auction #2 takes place. There are three bids. Once again, a confident Korhan is outbid by TK. (Why was Korhan confident? Did he finally agree to use Cahide's info from her "trustworthy" informant? It looks that way.)

We then see a flashback of Bulent telling TK about Cahide. He tells TK, "I'll never betray you." TK replies, "For that, I look upon you as a son." TK also talks about needing Bulent.

Korhan finally gets Cahide to reveal that her source was Bulent. Korhan then rushes into the room where Mihriban and Bulent are and confronts Bulent about being a spy. Bulent admits it. Mihriban is devastated. "How could you collaborate with the man who has been trying to ruin my life?" Bulent replies, "You have Cesur, Mama. TK trusted me more than you do. He values me more than you do."

Cesur tells Riza to start talking. Suddenly he gets a call from Turan, showing him Suhan bound and gagged. Turan points a gun at her. Cesur of course goes crazy. Turan tells him to bring Riza in exchange for Suhan.

The exchange takes place. Riza smugly asks, "Cesur, remember when you said no one could save me from you?" Cesur tells him this isn't over. Riza says, "Don't make me take you down."

Cesur and Suhan embrace, and Cesur says "forgive me" over and over and over again. Oops, there's then a flashback of Suhan telling Turan, "If you want to save your boss, this is what you should do." So Suhan's kidnapping was her plan to get Cesur to free Riza!!

Suhan tells Cesur not to give up. However, he should clean out the warehouse and not leave any fingerprints. The two of them go to the warehouse. Cesur removes everything. He's about to leave. He takes one more thing. Suhan asks what it is. "It's a camera I set up in case Riza started to talk. But he didn't." Oops! With that revelation, the episode (and perhaps the relationship between Cesur and Suhan) ends.

Juanita, thank you so much for another excellent account of all the twists and turns.

Poor Kor just wanted to eat meal in peace, but harping harpy Cahide is babbling, but he should have listened this time . I think he ignored what Bulent supposedly gave him. However, I am glad that he confronted weasely Boolent in front of Mir. Boo hoo, Mom likes
Cesar better than me . Yeah, everybody likes Cesar better than you , including your girl Banu.

Adalet is on the loose . Tah is still coughing .

So..Suhan told Turan to kidnap her to get Rotten Rix released . I was wondering how Turan came up with that plan on his own without his master telling him exactly what to do and when to do it.

Amor Val

Thank you Juanita for another great and insightful recap! So Cesur was making a cage for Riza! Actually it was a smart idea and plan, had Suhan minded her business. Still, Riza, having been incarcerated for 30 yrs, would’ve probably held out longer than Cesur, lol. Suhan is so invested in keeping Mean daddy outta trouble, that she’s allowing the wolf to run the chicken coup. Cesur is gonna burst a blood vessel once he sees what Suhan has been up to. I do think, that in her own convoluted way, that she’s trying to protect Cesur too, but he hit the ball through the hoop when he told her that she’s hiding things from him. Of course Suhan tried to turn it back on him, but what she knows about Mean daddy’s involvement in Salih’s death, and hiding her pregnancy, she’s totally in the wrong.

Mean daddy’s confession to Adalet that he’s fine, and never been better health wise, tells me that he ain’t dying nowhere, no how. Doctor’s can’t keep those facts from the patient, and I’m even more convinced that it’s a ruse on Mean daddy’s part. I guess we’ll see, and I’ll have to eat crow if he is indeed about to meet his maker——- in the other direction……

We all knew that Bulent was a bitch-boy, but Wow! Cesur only recently came on the scene, and his jealousy of him is MAJOR! I mean, what the hell has your mom been doing for you before Cesur showed up!?!? Who’s been feeding you, taking care of you, making sure that had everything that you needed while you were growing up???? You’re about as loyal as a weasel, and that’s being generous! Time to let Banu know what she’s really dealing with!

I can’t stand Riza and his over confidence. He’s still just a criminal no matter how hard he tries to be an “upstanding” citizen. And look at Turhan! He really has a hard on for his boss! Too funny…… Cahide is another one! Thinks she’s so smart——-dummy!

BUSTED! it’s coming Suhan, and I can’t wait to see it! Lol

Thanks very much, Susanlynn and carmella, for your terrific comments!

Susanlynn, I'm interested in your take on what Korhan did or didn't do. I assumed that this time his smug confidence at the auction resulted from his finally changing his mind and listening to Cahide's supposedly trustworthy info. That's why Korhan was so astonished when he again was outbid. Probably the reason he was outbid is that TK connived with Bulent to give Cahide wrong info. So then Korhan demands to know Cahide's source, and when he learns it's Bulent he immediately goes to confront him. I was a bit surprised that Bulent admitted it. That seems to show the depth of his resentment of his mother. And I loved your "Boo hoo, Mom likes Cesar better than me. Yeah, everybody likes Cesar better than you"! Yup.

Carmella, good point about Riza's ability to outwait Cesur. And yes, Cesur is going to burst a blood vessel when he watches what the camera has actually recorded. Suhan's trying to free Riza is the most important thing on the camera, but it probably also recorded Riza's telling her "I'll do whatever it takes to win your heart and trust." Given that Cesur already knows about Riza's Suhan Scrapbook, this will probably also drive Cesur nuts. BTW, I too think that Suhan concocted this plan as a way to protect Cesur from himself. A better way would have been to tell him about the baby.
And yes, your theory about TK not having a "rare disease" got a bit more support in his words to Adalet. I still don't think it's conclusive, but I now think what you say is quite likely right. If it's not, we can both eat crow together.

Thank you so much for the fine recap, Juanita. So very frustrated with suhan. She seems to be working overtime to sabotage her relationship with cesur. And why in the world did cesur go to get food for Riza. If I had Riza in a cage, I would not even give him water until he confessed.

So it looks like adalet actually planned her dosage so she wouldn't die. Escape was the plan all along. The DA is getting fed up with cesur.

Bulent, how I hate him! His mother should kick him out of her home.

I can't tell if TK is lying to adalet about feeling so well. I still think he has the illness the doctor told suhan about.

I don't remember the exact circumstances, but Reyhan Gave cahide a big smile about something which did not go down well with our bug-eyed person.

This is a test. I had some minor surgery on my left pinky finger, and I am dictating this to my computer. Works pretty well but it doesn't like Turkish names.

amor-val

I will put up a very brief recap tonight. I should not type too much because of a medical issue with my left pinky finger. I figured out how to dictate into Word and then paste. But it's laborious.

amor-val

Thanks very much, novelera, for commenting in spite of your finger surgery. Whatever dictating software your computer has seems to work better than the one a friend of mine uses. I can always tell when she's using it, because it makes all sorts of errors, often rather amusing ones. Yours, OTOH, seems to work quite well.

Until I read your comment, I hadn't realized that Adalet's counting the tablets was part of a scheme to escape, rather than to kill herself, but I think you're clearly right. And I too am still a little undecided about TK's "rare illness," but increasingly I'm coming to feel that carmella is right.

Both in Hercai and Amor Valiente, we saw characters go to some extreme lengths to prevent other characters from becoming murderers. I don't think anyone went as far as Suhan, with her cockamamie kidnapping scheme. She is going to be in deep mierda once Cesur looks at his camera's footage.

Hmmm...do American films/telenovelas show characters similarly desperate to prevent other characters from becoming murderers? Probably, but I can't think of any examples off-hand. I mean, lots of characters try to prevent other characters from getting killed, but usually they're concerned about the endangered character, not the potential killer. Oh well....

I hope your finger heals quickly, novelera.

Juanita, yes, a common theme in dizis seems to be the leading lady pleading with the galan to not kill the villain. There were several bad guys in "Fatmagul" , and Fatmagul was always imploring Kemel not to kill them . It makes sense because if the galan kills the bad guy , he will go to jail.

OT ...novelera, I hope the little pinky heals quickly.

#58

This was dictated and pasted, so don't expect much.

Riza tells the District Attorney that the whole cage thing was a joke from his old friends. I think DA serhat can smell the evil coming off him

Hulya sneaks up, sees Adalet and drops a dime. (How antiquated is dropping a dime!) But adalet isn't there when the cops arrive. TK has come to see her and watches the cops from afar.

Adilet has arranged to meet her brother in some woods She's pointing a gun at him. I hate you. He says she and TK stole 30 years of his life. He also tells her that if she kills him the video will be released.

Cesur watches the video his camera took while suhan tried to free riza. Suhan is with him. Cesur tells her that she betrayed him once again.

I am so sick of hulya. She is playing lady of the house, answering the door and then eavesdropping.

Serhat tries to warn Cesur to lay off. But Cesur reminds him that his whole family was stolen from him. Serhat tells him to leave Riza alone. Serhat drops a hint that he may also have lost his family.

Cesur blocks TK's car and tells him that he's putting his daughter into a big mess. He tells him that Riza is threatening her. Whatever you are hiding, you would let your daughter suffer? TK admits to Cesur that Riza sent the video to someone.

Riza tells serhat that he and his sister didn't get along very well. Serhat sees scratches on riza’s hand. Riza said some women are savage.

Bulent proposes to Banu. NOOOO! Suhan invites her brother and his wife to dinner. After they arrive Hulya wants to join them (big avocados on Hulya). But suhan says it's for family. I notice that cahide is getting big faster.

Rifat Has a list of Riza's calls and messages. He tells Cesur that near the time Salih was killed he sent a file to someone on the phone. the phone call was to Hikmet Ongrun. This guy was in prison the same time as Riza, but he got out a year earlier.

The family dinner blows up with lots of recriminations. Korhan and Cahide leave.

Cahide Calls bulent and tells him she's going to tell her father-in-law that bulent started the fire at cesur's house. She does it but TK does not believe her.

Riza calls suhan and asks her to dinner. Kemal is spying on her. When she refuses, he threatens to reveal Cesur putting him in the cage or to give the DA the video of her father.

amor-val

Wow, novelera, what a wonderfully succinct and yet complete account! And your dictation software is rather impressive.

I have nothing to add to your account, just questions that I had as I watched the episode. How did Hulya know where Adalet was hiding? And how did Adalet know that she had to leave? My sense of things is that she and TK were going to meet there, so she had reason to stay. We see the police come to try to capture Adalet, and TK is headed there as well. He watches without being seen as the police raid the house and report that no one is there.

I also wondered what happened in the encounter between Adalet and Riza. She arranged to meet him, and she does, pointing a pistol at him. We hear some of their conversation, but not the conclusion. But then we see Riza and Turan return to the hotel. Riza looks as if he's been through a lot, but Turan looks very upset. Riza tells him to wash his face and change his clothes. He tells Turan "Nothing happened, OK? Don't raise any suspicions." We see three scratches on Riza's hand. I'd love to know what happened. Did Riza actually kill Adalet? The scratches give the impression that Riza and Adalet struggled physically, and she probably scratched him. But what did he do to her to make Turan look so freaked out?

Later the DA questions Riza and notices the scratches on his hand. Riza tries to make it seem that he had sex with a wild woman.

Also, Necla tells Cesur that Adalet called her and said she was going to see her brother, but that she would call again in a few hours. But she hasn't called. None of this looks good for Adalet. Or are the writers playing with us?

I can think of just one small detail that wasn't in your account. The DA tells TK that it was a woman who called to report seeing Adalet at the house. TK tries to think of women who hate him. He thinks immediately of Mihriban and remembers her saying that if she knew where Adalet was, she'd happily report it. Of course, it was Hulya who called to report seeing Adalet. I wonder though whether anything more will come of TK's remembering what Mihriban said.

Amor Val

Thank you novelera! Short, sweet and to the point recap! You’ve covered everything, including Juanita’s comment. The chicken heads are the worst, and Hulyagan is really taking her role at this manor seriously! So annoying! Cahide, otoh, always playing cards without knowing the game too well. Why would her dumbness warn Bulent first?!? Just like she warned Korhan ass backwards, instead of telling him about Bulent in the first place. She really thinks she’s smart, but ends up looking dumber than dumb.

I think Riza must’ve killed Adalet. That’s the only thing that explains Turhan looking like he got hit in the head with a brick. And those scratches on Riza’s hands tell me that Adalet definitely fought back. Unless he’s got her shackled and tied up somewhere, that’s my guess.

Wondering more and more about the DA’s past…….

Amor val

Novelera, thank you so much for a recap that made everything clearer to me. My cousin Drew and I email everyday , and he dictates his messages verbally . I think I have that feature on my tablet , but I have never tried it.

Hulygan has appointed herself greeter at Tah's place . Do they still have those at Wal-Mart ? I guessed that she asked Suhan if she could join the party , and Suhan smiled and said no. Hulygan has settled herself into that house . Does she remember she has a baby, or are the servants taking care of the poor thing?

I thought I had missed something when Riza was back in his room wiping his face and Turhan looked like a deer caught in Headlights. And the scratches on his hand from some crazy love escapade . Right . Putting the pieces together , it appears that Riz and Ada scuffled , and he killed her . However, the writers might be sending out another red herring because I also thought that Riz killed Sirin according to what we saw on our screens. Maybe they are playing us again.

Speaking of caught in the headlights...Suhan.

Booboo....your goose is cooked.

Rifat is on the job getting Riz's phone records , and we discover that Riz dud actually send the video to someone.

Will we ever find out anything about the DA and why he is so involved in this case ?.

P.s. Why does Riz eat his meals on a coffee table in the middle of the hotel diningroom?

amor-val

Thank you novelera for this great recap! I like the dictation mode, it worked well! I couldn’t watch all of the episode because of a huge rainstorm that interfered with the internet and satellite of my TV.

Hulya really does have some avocados! Suhan is on my last nerve with her crazy antics and how she treats Cesur.

So, the big questions we all seem to have are: What happened between Riza and Adalet? Is she dead or tied up somewhere? Is Tashin really that ill? What is the backstory with DA Cihan? Why does Riza eat at the coffee table in the restaurant? (Thanks Susanlynn).

Hope your pinky is healing well novelera!

amor-val

I'll have a recap up later tonight.

amor-va
Ep. 59 p. 1 of 2

The episode begins with Cesur breaking into an apartment. He's in the apartment when a woman enters, sees him, and screams. He assures her he's not a thief, he's looking for Hikmet Ongun. Has she seen him? She tells him he hasn't been there for months. She says Cesur is likely to find him on the streets.

Cahide tells Hulya that she needs the recording where Bulent admits he set the fire. She needs to prove to Tahsin (TK) that she's not lying. She pleads with Hulya to help her. Hulya asks why she should help Cahide. Cahide offers to pay. Hulya likes that reponse.

Suhan comes to the restaurant where Riza is waiting. He orders steak and "the best wine that has been maturing for years." Suhan wants nothing to eat or drink. She wants to know why Riza asked her to come here. "All in good time, the night is young" replies Riza. Kemal has followed Suhan and calls Cesur. An angry Cesur asks for the restaurant's address.

Suhan tells Riza she can leave when she wants. Riza says she knows what will happen if she leaves. "That's why I'm here," she says, "but I don't like to be pressured." Riza asks her whether she'll hurt Cesur or her father. He also tells her that he has been interested in her for 11 years, 2 months, and 23 days, ever since he saw a photo of her with her father. She tells him he's gone too far. And at that point, Cesur comes in. He rushes at Riza, pushes him, hits him several times, kicks him, and tells him, "If you come near her again, I'll kill you." [A dumb thing to say in public, IMHO] Cesur then insists that Suhan come with him. He tells Kemal to take the keys to Suhan's car and drive it home.

Once they're in Cesur's car, he starts in: "How could you agree to have dinner with him? You won't see him again!" He goes on and on, pretty much out of control.

Hikmet Ongun calls Riza and asks whether Riza has told someone about him. He berates Riza, telling him "I was sure you'd get me in trouble." Riza simply responds, "Don't let him find you." Riza then calls Suhan and asks how Cesur knew about the video. Suhan insists she didn't tell Cesur anything. Riza threatens, "Stop Cesur or say goodbye to your father."

Hulya tells Bulent that Cahide will pay anything to destroy him. Bulent wants to know what Hulya wants. Hulya tells him she will hold an auction for the recording. Bulent calls her some nasty names, and Hulya tells him "Your insults will only raise the price. Start negotiating."

Cesur goes to a cafe and asks whether Hikmet is there. The waiter says no. Cesur then calls the number Rifat had for Hikmet. Hikmet, sitting in the cafe, answes the phone. Then he runs away. Cesur runs after him and catches him. They struggle. Hikmet breaks away, but Cesur manages to get his backpack. He opens the laptop that was in the backback and looks over the files. One is marked "important" with an attachment. There's also an instruction, "You know what to do if you don't hear from me." Bingo!

Suhan meets Cesur by the water. She asks whether he found what he was looking for. When he says he has, she asks what he plans to do. He replies, "What you should have done--give the evidence to the DA." She begs him not to do that, citing her father's illness. She doesn't want his last days to be spent in court or in prison. She says, "If you love me, don't do this."

Bulent is driving and holding a thumb drive. He calls Cahide and tells her he got the drive from Hulya.

Suhan confers with her father's doctor. He tells her the results he has just received confirm his diagnosis. Suhan says she would like a second opinion. She has found a specialist in Istanbul. Her father's doctor claims it's pointless. Suhan says perhaps another doctor will have a different opinion.

amor-val
Ep. 59 p. 2 of 2

TK gets a call from his doctor. TK yells, "You didn't try to stop her? That will ruin everything! I paid all this money for nothing!" [Congrats, carmella, you were right!]

Hulya calls Suhan and tells her that her father is ill and won't let her call for an ambulance. Suhan comes. TK coughs a lot. She wants to take him to the hospital. He tells her it's not necessary. He had felt as if he were dying, but now that she's here, he feels much better. She strokes his hand. Assured that he's OK, she leaves. As soon as she's out the door, TK gets out of bed.

Suhan and Cesur meet again. He tells her, "I went to turn in the video, but I couldn't do it. This should be up to you. Take it. This is about your father." She thanks him. He tells her not to thank him, he doesn't agree with her decision. "But even if it's not right, it's worth doing it for you."

Suhan gets a call from the doctor in Istanbul. She seems troubled by what he's telling her. She goes to see her father. She tells him, "I received news that I should be happy about, but I'm not. Today I went to see your doctor. I decided I wanted a second opinion. I was on my way to Istanbul to see the specialist when Hulya called and told me you were ill. Since I couldn't continue to Istanbul, I took photos of the report and sent them to the doctor. He called me and told me not to worry--the results were those of a woman, not a man!" Suhan is furious. "Don't call me hija! I'm not your daughter! This was so selfish and shameless of you. How could a father make up such a terrible lie? And the most painful part is that I never stopped loving you. I lost the man I love because of you. I lied to him so many times because of you." She leaves.

After Suhan leaves, TK receives a text message, seemingly from Adalet: "I miss you a lot. If you still want to see me despite the dangers, here's my location."

Suhan writes a message to Sirin. She then goes to Cesur's house. Sirin opens the door. Suhan says something I couldn't catch and that wasn't in the captions. She then hands Sirin the video and says, "Here is the reason." Cesur is there, and she asks him to meet with her, she needs to talk to him. Sirin goes and reads Suhan's note: "I don't know if you can forgive me for being quiet until now, but please know I love you like a sister. I wish I were brave enough to say this to your face. Nothing is what it seems. I don't know what to believe anymore. We can only trust what we see. And all that's left is for me to tell you the truth. You decide what to do with this." Sirin then plays the video through to the end.

TK is wandering in the woods. He is probably looking for Adalet. Riza and Turan watch him, unseen. Turan asks Riza why he did this. Riza replies, "So he can see Adalet for the last time." There's then a flashback of Adalet pointing a gun at Riza and telling him, "This is the end. At least Tahsin will be able to live in peace." Riza claims, "If you kill me, TK will die." Adalet looks ready to pull the trigger when suddenly Turan sneaks up behind her and smashes a rock on her head. She falls unconscious. Riza asks, "What did you do?" Turan asks whether Adalet is dead. Riza bends over her. She struggles against him and scratches at him. He keeps pushing on her neck until she is dead. Riza actually looks somewhat sad and regretful.

Riza then tells Turan, "You were right on time. Otherwise I'd be dead." The two of them then dig a grave.

Riza tells Turan that he read a lot in prison, and one thing he read was that hope is the worst kind of evil because it prolongs our agony. "And that's how I'll get my revenge. By torturing TK with hope. He'll live with the hope that he will be able to reunite with his wife someday. Poor Tahsin." And with that, the episode ends.

Amor Val

Wow Juanita! Awesome recap for an exciting episode! This was a “telling” episode of there ever was one! Cesur though! Like dude, you really need to let Rifat handle the tracking down people skills! You are just too blond and gorgeous and noticeable! You do not just “blend” in——-anywhere! Lol! But, high five cause you sure beat the steak and stuffin outta Riza! Yay! Yeah, like, it was a dumb move to yell out that you’d kill him if he ever went near Suhan again—-in a crowded room—— but it sure looked like all the restaurant patrons enjoyed your kicking Riza’s azz as much as I did!! No one intervened except that dumb turd Turhan, and even he didn’t want none of what you were dishing out! Loved, loved, LOVED it!!!

Riza is pathetic! Just like the restaurant he “owns” he’ll do anything to own Suhan too. Counting off the years, months, and days that he’s been pining for her, would sound romantic coming from a different kinda man, but from him it just sounds gross and straight up NASTY! If Suhan had decided to order a meal, she woulda thrown up all over him at that exact moment! He needs to chew on his own words that “hope is the worst kind of evil,” cause he’ll live in everlasting agony if he thought for a second that Suhan would ever love him! He might think he’s winning now, but he’s a “ LOOSAH” with a capital “L!”

I almost felt sorry for Suhan, but playing in the mud with Riza-pig, and learning of her father’s deception and dishonesty was almost deserving foer the way that she’s maligned and treated Cesur. I’m glad that I don’t have to eat crow, but how SUPER SAD is it that Mean daddy has to resort to these kinds of things to keep his daughter beside him? Funny thing is, he won’t move his pinky finger or bat an eye for Korhan. So when I think of how he’s treated Korhan, he deserves to wallow in a pitty pot of loneliness. For the first time, that usual velociraptor turn of his head looked defeated to me. Walking in the woods, looking for Adalet, made him appear weak and frail. The all mighty, all powerful Tahsin Korludag looked liked a lost “koala bear.” ( thanks Susalynn)

I gather that the two chicken heads are up to something where Bulent is concerned, and I hope it’s good! On top of the money that Hulya got from Bulent, I’m sure she got a pretty penny from Cahide too—— which was probably their plan all along. I can just see them with their heads together laughing and squawking about how they duped Bulent. Cahide and Hulya have this love-hate relationship, but they’ve bonded in a sick kinda way, especially before Cahide became pregnant and she fawned all over Hulya when she thought Huyla’s baby would be hers. Hulya is a nasty “slut” like Bulent called her, but she does appear loyal if you’re loyal to her. Guess we’ll see….

I see Sirin going straight to the DA with her info……

Oh, and that turd Turhan better get a clue! If Riza would kill his own sister, what do you think he’ll do to you?!?! And you’re right Juanita, Riza did look very remorseful after killing Adalet. He appeared to have a soul for a minute……..

Juanita, thank you for another snappy recap of a episode that answered a lot of questions and had us asking other ones.

First and foremost , Cesar was definitely in full Thor mode when he charged Rotten Riza in the restaurant . He walked in the door and propelled himself forward like a freight train . It made me flashback to those experiments on force and velocity that I never really understood in physics class. It looked very real to the point that I wondered if the actor playing Riza actually got hurt.

And ...then Cesar once again attempts the sunglasses\baseball hat disguise . As Carmella points out, there is no hiding that face and form. Watching Cesar run after various and sundry bad guys is a pleasant part of this show.

Well, has Suhan finally been convinced that Dad is bad, like very bad?.

Hulygan practically glows and vibrates when she is about to gain some money and control . I wonder how the writers will deal with the evil triangle of Huly, Cahide, and the Boo.

Now we know what happened to Adalet . It's lucky for Riza that Tur is punctual , perhaps his only good quality. But why is Tur so hopelessly devoted to Riza? ( Shout out to Olivia Newton John in Grease)

This is a great recap Juanita! I liked the action and some answers to questions we all had. By the way, Suhan told Sirin “I know you have been wondering why I have been avoiding you.” Then she gave her the letter and the CD explaining why.

Like carmella, I was cheering Cesur on while he kicked that disgusting little man’s butt. Riza killing Adalet surprised me a bit, but she was going to shoot his ass. We never really heard what awful things she claimed he did to her when they were younger, but I guess we can surmise based on her loathing of him.

I also enjoy Cesur in those tight jeans running all over the place. We need another horse scene where he leaps on without batting an eye.

I just cannot feel sorry for Suhan. How many times is she going to tell Mean Daddy that she will never call him Daddy again. It is getting old. He and his lies are getting old too. carmella totally called that one! Good job.

I think it is interesting that you also think the chicken heads are in cahoots again regarding the video of Bulent. It never occurred to me until I read your post carmella.

Thank you so much Juanita! I hope things start moving along a bit more in this dizi.

First, geçmiş olsun, novelera. I hope your pinky heals quickly. Thanks for your dedication to recapping.

Thank you, Juanita, for another great recap.

We are in the last few minutes of Turkish ep 26. They are cutting a lot of stuff. Most of it is not critical but it gives more insight into the characters and their motivations.

Did they cut the scene where Hulya slides into Tahsin’s bed at night? I don’t remember seeing that on Telemundo. He jumped out of the bed and ordered her to leave. Next morning when she went to apologize, he told her to pack her bags. He was sending her and Zafer to the mountain house. Later, when she was packed and ready to go, Tahsin gave her a reprieve and said he hoped she learned her lesson. Had to laugh at that. Tahsin really wants that baby to be raised in his house.

Even the good guys in dizis tend to seek “justice” outside of the law. It becomes personal—a matter of honor. Susanlynn mentioned Fatmagul trying to stop Kerim. I thought of the disasters Nare caused in Embajador when she tried to stop Sancar from killing Akin. And remember that “Midyat” dizi?

MANY thanks, carmella, Susanlynn, and VVS, for your superb comments!

Carmella, congrats again on correctly diagnosing TK's "rare illness." And yes, Cesur is "just too blond and gorgeous and noticeable! You do not just “blend” in——-anywhere!" I too loved seeing Cesur beat the "steak and stuffin" out of Riza. And you raise a very good point about TK's treatment of Korhan. For that alone, he deserves misery. As for the two chickenheads, I hadn't thought that they were in cahoots about doing in Bulent. What did I miss?

Susanlynn, I always love your great turns of phrase. This time, it was " He walked in the door and propelled himself forward like a freight train," followed by your remembering "those experiments on force and velocity that I never really understood in physics class." And yes, it did look very real!

VVS, MANY thanks for explaining what Suhan said to Sirin when she came to the door. I listened to it several times last night, but it continued to elude me. And it looks like we're all members of the cheering squad when it comes to Cesur's beatdown of Riza.

Novelera's hand is making it very hard for her to type. She will not be able to put up a recap tonight, nor will I (since I'll be out tonight). So, there will be no recap tonight unless someone else rises to the occasion. It doesn't have to be long. Even bullet-points are helpful. I hope someone will give it a try.

Hope your hand gets better soon novelera, and pain is at a minimum!

Sorry Juanita, I have to rise and be out very early tomorrow morning, so lights out at 10pm promptly for me. Hopefully I can help out another time…….especially with this dizi winding down……
