Mujer de Nadie
Karmageddon in San Jacinto

We have quite the Dirty Dozen of cruel and immoral souls here, some far worse than others. Tell us what you think they deserve, with the thought that this producer's villains don't necessarily pay for their crimes.

Roxana / Carmen Aub

Guilty of concealing her past and marital status from Fernando, lending money to Fernando with intent to make him dependent on her, intruding into his family's issues to earn their favor (paying Carlos' bail), stalking, and filing a false charge of assault against Fernando when he rejected her most recent advances. Finally, guilty of thinking she has the hottest c**t on earth.

No Rest for the Wicked: Shot to death by Rafael.

Alejandra / Azela Robinson

Guilty of grand theft (Casilda's inheritance) in addition to her verbal and physical abuse of Casilda, concealing vital information about Casilda's life. Also, attempts at gaslighting Lucia, abusing Pilar's friendship, and unspecified shady business dealings with Rafael. Also of sex slavery of desperate young women.

Rafael / Plutarco Haza

Guilty of greed. dirty business deals with various people (see Juventino, below), insinuating himself into Lucia's life with the ultimate goal of owning her after treating Roxana as though she were still a prostitute rather than his wife. Also guilty of murder of Roxana.

Heriberto / Roberto Soto

Guilty of greed, multiple counts of attempted rape, attempted murder, fraudulent loans for purpose of foreclosure, theft of Lucia's house, bribery, unspecified illegal business dealings, and domestic violence. Guilty of attitude of entitlement to women far above himself and thinking himself above the law.

Gertrudis / Rosa Maria Bianchi

Guilty of greed, intimidation, accomplice to Heriberto, then Pedro, and Juventino. Mistress of cruelty.

Juventino / Adalberto Parra

Guilty of enabling Gertrudis and Heriberto, evicting whole blocks of small business owners on short notice to clear an area for a shopping mall; typical corrupt small-town politician.

Isaura / Cynthia Klitbo

Guilty of causing the death of Jacobo, causing major financial problems, grand theft (Alejandra's necklace) to sell for gambling money, taking bribes, attempting to seduce Pedro away from Gertrudis and thinking she's the center of the universe.

Pedro / Francisco Pizaña

Guilty of doing Gertrudis' bidding while delivering pity fucks to her. Also guilty of mystifying viewers by doing the old prune when he could have a nice juicy peach instead.

Alfredo / Arap Bethke

Guilty of using women for his own ends with no respect for their personhood in addition to shady business dealings with various others on this list. Guilty of putting a spy camera in Lucia's bedroom to deliver scantily clad footage of her to Heriberto's phone and the internet, thereby destroying her reputation. Guilty of cheating on her with Michelle, whom he led on into believing he would marry her. Also guilty of having no relationship with the truth.

Carlos / Luis Arrieta

Guilty of participating in the robbery of the trucks owned by Fernando's company and accepting the bribe of his bail money from Roxana. Might have participated in the murder of Lucia if Roxana hadn't been murdered already. Guilty also of whining enough to annoy the viewers.

Diego / Sergio Bonilla

Guilty of multiple betrayals of his friendship with Fernando, selling out to Rafael, and setting up Roxana's ambush in Monterey. Also guilty of abusing Paulina in a creepy manner.

Michelle / Alexa Martin

Guilty of nastiness toward Lucia before attempting to be Slut for a Day while still believing herself to be socially superior to Lucia. Also guilty of having no relationship to the truth.

La Mexicana

Just a few random thoughts…

I have no idea what their backstory is but Marcia likes Luis…why??

Why was Marcia with Helena at the hospital rather than Gonzalo? I did like the kids snuggling with her once she got home although Gonzalo seemed to hover out of place without a space.

Love Brandon and Viiyéri.

Rene leaving that heaping sack of cash out in the open?

What is Diego thinking? Part rhetorical, part question.

Computer is acting up so taking it in for repairs. Hopefully, will have it back soon.

Diana

Mexicana

Diana, Luis and Marcia have been married for about 15 years I think, something like that. She said at one point that he was a good husband at first but then became very controlling and she decided she would have to divorce him. That's what started Luis on a campaign to win her back. But she does have a weakness for Luis, though why I can't imagine.
Anyway, "Dalilah" did not work out well. But I'm not sure why Marcia was so angry with Luis. She knows from long experience that he is a goofball, and he was trying, in a rather silly way, to win her back.

About Gabriela Zamora, I had no idea that she was the same woman who was Flor in La desalmada! I absolutely did not recognize her. But I pretty much liked Flor, and I like Marcia a whole lot more.

Sebastián, on the other hand, is a real jerk. I don't remember just how many times I've said this. These two guys should NOT wind up together, unless Sebastián has a true change of heart. Even then, well, whatever.

"Rene leaving that heaping sack of cash out in the open?" Gee, was that ever stupid!

It does look like Brandon and Viiyéri could wind up together. Brandon has been, in a way, doing what his father did. Megan is a bit of a ditz, but still a nice girl. But there is not much chemistry there between her and Brandon. We'll have to look for someone for Megan, because we want everybody happily matched up by the end of the show   :-)

Diego is confused. If Sebastián the cowardly Ogre had not kicked Diego out they would still be a more-or-less happy couple. Now we don't know what will happen.

Paulina and Nacho cracked me up. Especially his story of when Sebastián was a young guy he never had any luck with the girls   :-)
And Paulina is annoyed with Katya.

Andy

Mujer de Nadie

Urban, I loved the Karmageddon. Great stuff. Should we add Casi and Leo there too? They're not exactly saints...

How I want Mujer de Nadie to end

Alejandra deserves to have her fortune taken back by Casi.

Casi, after getting her money back, should go to a good psychologist. That girl needs therapy.

Heriberto should have an accident and sit in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. That way he won't be running behind women like Lucía.

Somebody needs to die in the Gran Final, so let that be Rafael.

Michelle should dump Alfredo's butt and get together with Néstor, after apologizing to Lucía 100 times for the things she said.

Actually, Alfredo should die too.

Lucía and Fer can get their happy ending. They deserve it.

Claudia should break up with Diego. The girl just lost her mom, having to deal with obsessed Diego won't help.

I'm tired of Carlos. He should fall off a cliff or something. To be honest, I don't care what happens to him.

I won't say anything about Isaura and Paulina because I've seen their ending, so I can't guess nor say anything about them.

As for the other characters, I just don't care.

Unfortunately, it probably won't end this way...

Mujer de Nadie

Oops, I've forgotten about Pilar and Gabino. I want them to end up together.

"LOS RICOS":

RGV Chick: The Gran Estreno begins at 8:00 PM CST on Tuesday, September 6th.

2 full HRS!

Steve Boudreaux

Mexicana

Andy, I appreciate the background info on Marcia and Luis. "she does have a weakness for Luis, though why I can't imagine" had me smiling away!! Ditto.

Yes, Gabriela was also in LD which is part of the reason I felt they were really doing a disservice to her in the physical way she is being portrayed here. She seems goodhearted and seems to care about Diego although she looked as though she didn't exactly approve of his kissing Katya.

Sebastián is off putting to me, nasty and sanctimonious. Diego can definitely do better.

Computer is acting up so am dropping it off today to be fixed. Will return as soon as I can.

Diana

Mujer Karmageddon

I think Alejandra will lose the money because Leonardo will get it for Casilda. The question is whether he will marry her first before she knows about it.

Will Lucia take care of Alejandra who could also end up in prison? She may know so much dirt about everybody she could go free.

I want Isaura run out of town if they can't put her in prison for contributory negligence in Jacobo's death.

Alfredo deserves to be in prison where I hope he runs into a prisoner who has it in for him. The reason isn't important.

Heriberto should end up a quadroplegic with Gertrudis as his caregiver. She would eventually kill him and get away with it.

Pedro should be suspended from the police force. He can move to a new town and become a private eye.

Michelle doesn't deserve Nestor. She should be Marta's caregiver for the next 20 years. Carlos needs to do time for his participation in the robbery.

Diego should end up in a manicomio.

Rafael needs to die, but in a worse way than Juventino did last night.

Mujer De Nadie #31

Blogger ate my recap! And I can't redo it now because my boss is on his way to the office- I'll post later today!

Mujer de Nadie

Juju, send an e-mail to RGVChick. Your recap is probably in spam. You can find her e-mail in her profile. No need to re-post!

OT + Mujer de Nadie

How is JudyB doing? I read some recaps and comments of hers and I can't wait until she recovers and we share a patio together.

Darcy, I miss you, your wonderful recaps and your spot-on comments. Hope your mom defies the odds and lives for many years. My great-grandmother had her whole stomach removed and the doctors had to replace it with a plastic one. The doctors said that she'll live for 3 years max and she actually lived for 10+ after that! (This is a better example that my previous one for sure. At least we're talking about HUMANS now.)

As for Mujer. Princess Juju, have you figured out what to do with the missing recap? I have almost finished Tuesday's recap and I want to know when I'll post it. Thanks.

Urban, at least for now, as you know, we have Wednesdays and Fridays empty. I can paste Wednesdays' highlights (from Wikipedia, of course). Do you want to paste Fridays'? Since we're the only ones who post highlights (Darcy too, but now she's on a break for the reasons we know) I thought that until Darcy comes back we could each take a day to post highlights. We could switch, I don't have to problem to take Fridays. What do you think?

This comment has been removed by the author.

Mujer

Weirdo,
I have no problem with Wednesdays right now. We're in the home stretch with only 13 episodes left.

O/T

Judy,
I hope you are doing well and can return to join us for Ricos.

Darcy, I hope things are getting better for you and you're back soon. We all miss both of you.

Mujer

Urban, that's great!

Wirdo- I'm going to rewrite the recap or as much as I can remember so that you can post yours! Give me a few minutes!

OT

Weirdo, I had checked the Spam folder for Princess Juju's recap, but it isn't. This time the Blog monster did the gobbling. :-(

As for Judy, she's hanging in there and has a ways to go; I think we are all waiting for her return. If you like her comments, you should check out her recaps...hilarious and inspiring! You can find several under Sin Tu Mirada or here is a sample at this link:

http://caraycaray.blogspot.com/2019/08/daytime-tns-1-sin-tu-mirada-y-mas-week_12.html

Mujer de Nadie

Juju, there's no need to re-write it. You can send an email to RGVChick, your recap is probably in spam.

I'm so sorry that you lost it, though. I write it separately and then copy-paste it. It's safer. It must suck having to re-write it from scratch.

In more positive notes, I can't wait to read your recap!

OT + La Madrastra

Just saw your comment, RGVChick. Not even in spam? What? I was not expecting that!

Thanks for the link. I'll read it tomorrow, it's nighttime in my country. Thanks!

As for La Madrastra. I saw the first episode from somewhere. I really liked it. It's very interesting. I'll definitely keep watching and I'll recap it when it comes to Univisión.

Mujer De Nadie #31 08/15/2022 Parte 1

Before Lucia and Fernando can get married the police show up and arrest Fernando on suspicion of murder, as we all know Roxana was killed and now Fernando is being blamed for it, the cops take him to the jail and Alejandra gets him an attorney but there's a lot of "evidence" against him such as:

1. His DNA was found under Roxana's fingernails.
2.His fingerprints were found on a wine class in Roxana's cabin
3. He admitted to having had an affair with her
4. They found his saliva mixed with hers?
5.A groundskeeper claims to have seen him enter the cabin and shortly thereafter to have heard the gunshots.

Ohh, that's bad but it gets worse, Diego is asked to go to the police station and make a statement, he's worried for Fernando. Rafael tells him to go, he also tells Diego to tell the police they were together all night working "but we weren't" argues Diego "yes we were, you and I worked together all night, and that's what you're going to tell the police". Fernando is screwed.

Mujer De Nadie #31 08/15/2022 Parte Dos

Casilda finally tells everyone that she's pregnant, Pilar, Gabino and Tona are happy for her Alejandra not so much. Gabino and Pilar discuss telling Casila the truth so that she does not have to worry about how she will support her baby financially but they agree not to tell her yet.

Pilar goes to Alejandra to get her to agree to tell Casilda the truth about how wealthy she is, Alejandra refuses to do this, she does not want Casilda to take away what Alejandra considers her and by extension Lucia's, the argument is so serious that Alejandra kicks Pilar out- effectively ending their friendship.

Elsewhere Isaura is busy hustling, she tells Casilda that soon she will give her some news that will change her life, and she tells her that from that point on she will be her babies guardian *prayer circle for the baby*. Isaura then meets with Leonardo and shows him a copy of the will that proves everything Alejandra has belongs to Casilda. This finally convinces Leonardo to pretend to care about Casilda and the bebe.

Mexicana

Amazing! According to Wikipedia, Mexico City proper has a population of over nine million, and Greater Mexico City has a population of almost 22 million, yet these people keep bumping into each other in various locations as if it were a small town. Ah, well, standard telenovela fare.

Sofía certainly looks yummy, but she just as certainly has a harsh side. Quite harsh.

Paulina really took Sebastián by surprise, quitting and telling him she couldn't continue working with him because she is deeply in love with him while he won't even give her a chance... because he is so smitten with Katya.

This is probably the first time I have seen Sebastián in a half-way decent light, he seemed genuinely upset for Paulina.
But he's still a jerk and he still could not bring himself to tell her the truth.

And he should towel down or shower after a rough workout. From the looks of him he should have been pretty smelly, so Paulina must really be in love   :-)

And Diego is bringing Katya roses... hmmm.

Poor Andrea now has problems whichever which way she turns. Now she has to deal with doña Maty's plan to marry Jaime. Maty would have to produce identification to get married and this would let the cat out of the bag, and break Tyler's "fantasy". Yet Tyler is all for the wedding.

What in the world is Krazy Katya thinking? She wants to pull a scam in the restaurant with Diego so they don't have to pay for their meal? But this is essentially what Andrea did when Diego was the waiter and it got him fired! This has to set Diego thinking, and thinking not very pleasant thoughts.

Andy

Mujer De Nadie #31 Parte 3

Heriberto and Rafael meet to talk shop, Rafael makes it clear that with Roxana dead and Fernando in jail he plans to go after Lucia, Heriberto tells Rafael that Lucia belongs to him, Rafa reminds Heriberto that Lucia thinks of him as a trash panda and that she would never ever give him the time of day, Heriberto then reminds Rafa that he knows a lot of information about him and that if Lucia knew the kind of person that he is she would not give him the time of day. Rafa ignores that and tells Heriberto they should focus on work.

Pedro still wants to get in on with Gertrudis but she declines his advances.

Juventino says his (final?) goodbye to his sister and heads to the club, once there he takes a sip of wine that has been poisoned, or at the very least tampered with, he goes with two girls to a private room and catches one of them filming him, he freaks out and tells the women that he is a public figure and should not be filmed in such compromising situations. I'm pretty sure he gets a heart attack and I'm pretty sure he dies. I'd say RIP but I would not mean it.

Fernando is still in jail, he has explained to Lucia what happened with Roxana and apologized for not telling her that he was going to see her, neither Lucia nor Fernando know that Rafael is working behind the scenes, Rafa finds the guy that Fernando got thrown in jail and gets him to go after Fernando, he wants this man to get Lucia to hate Fernando.

I hate Rafael.

That's it for today folks!

Mujer

Princess Juju, wow, thanks for trudging through this study in evil to bring us every dastardly deed.

The few good people are absolutely surrounded by awful villains. It is exhausting to watch .

Mujer #31

Gracias, Juju.

When saliva gets mixed during kissing, it can leave a mixed specimen on the rim of a glass. Sadly, the glass Fernando didn't drink from would not have her saliva and hers alone on it, but did anyone think to look for fingerprints?

He did sniff the glass and I thought I saw an expression of suspicion.

Roxana was looking to frame him for violence and probably expected to have Rafael hit her a few times to cause bruises that she would blame on Fernando. One would also think that the parking area would have security cameras .

"MUJER DE NADIE" Episode #31:

Juju: Thank you very much for the recap of last night's episode.

Leonardo needs his Karma Anvil sooner or later.

UA: Casilda needs to speak with Dr. Phil ASAP & I wasn't shocked about Juventino joining the Body Count so quickly.

Susanlynn: Bold Prediction: Crazy Michelle will NOT get her Karma Anvil in the end.

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 32, Martes, August 16, 2022 - Parte 1/8

El Chino calls Lucía and she picks it up (who picks up Unknown numbers these days?) He says that he's a ___ (the subtitles said that he told her "I'm a fan", but I'm not sure). Lucía hangs up and tells Toña what happened. She searches the number on Google.

El Chino (EC) tells Fer that now he's not a businessman, now he (Fer) is a criminal like him. EC knows where Lucía lives, works and that she has no one to protect her. EC wants Fer to obey him if he wants Lucía to be ok. Somebody says "claro", but I didn't recognize the voice. EC and the other prisoners leave.

Rafael calls the woman who poisoned Juventino. She says that he had a heart attack and they took him to the hospital. Rafael is pleased and says that he has paid her triple the money they agreed on because she sent him some photos. The woman is anxious, but Rafael reassures her that no one will suspect her and that she should disappear for a bit. He hangs up and tells Heri that San Jacinto will have a new Presidente Municipal. Heri looks relieved and Rafael tells him to go to Gertrudis, she'll learn that her brother's dead in a bit.

Leonardo rushes to where Alejandra is and tells her that the outside of the club is full of journalists. Alejandra follows Leo to the main room of the club, where many customers are complaining because they don't want to be seen leaving the club. Alejandra tries to calm them down. Pilar and Isaura are there too. Alejandra tells Pilar to take a client to (the exit, I assume) where they take out the garbage. Taking the garbage to the garbage. Zero creativity.

Heri goes to his house and Gertrudis is definitely not happy to see him. Pedro is there and Heri says that she was worried he came back earlier because she has her amante here. Gertrudis tells him that she's not worried and Heri says that he told her if he brought him to the house again she would face the consequences.

Gertrudis' phone rings and she picks it up. Gert says to Heri that her brother had a heart attack and Heri says "I'll accompany you! Where's the body? In the morgue?" LOLOL! She tells him that Juventino is ALIVE, he's at hospital and no, Heri shouldn't accompany her. Pedro is just standing there. I'm pretty sure the creepy statue that's hanging out inside their house is more talkative than Pedro. Anyway, when Heri hears that Juventino is alive, his face is a compo of anger, sadness, "oh no, we're screwed" and "oh, come on, there goes my chance".

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 32, Martes, August 16, 2022 - Parte 2/8

Lucía went to the prison where the keep Fer, but a cop tells her that he's sick and can't have visitors today. Lucía asks him what happened and if they're treating him, but he tells her that he can't say anything else. He leaves.

Gertrudis is with her brother. "It was a miracle that Juventino's heart reacted", Gert informs us, the doctors told her. She's right by his side and very happy her brother's alive. Heri is very angry and says that he'll go outside for a bit.

Lucía is at Ale's house with her friend Toña. Lucía wants to know more about Fer's situation, she called some people, but nada. Casi comes down. Toña gets a mensaje from Pasqual and we see an article from a site that says Juventino is at hospital and that it's unclear whether he's dead or alive. Lucía finds the article too and starts reading.

Everything is going well, until she reads that he was taken out of a gentlemen's club owned by Alejandra Madrigal! Casilda chokes on the food she's eating. They all know what "gentlemen's club" means. Lucía asks Casi if she knew, multiple times, but Casi is frozen. It's obvious she knew. Lucía starts walking and Casi finally unfreezes and asks her where she's going. Lucía tells the rest that she'll go clarify some things. Toña wants to go with her, but Lucía tells her to go to the talavera. They both leave. Casi is left there alone.

Alejandra is freaking out because they're closing her club and someone (must be a lawyer) tells her that they have orders to close down the place. Leo calls someone, but they insist on closing it. Ale tells Leo to insist too. They both see Lucía and Lucía sees them.

Pilar made breakfast for Gabino. Gabino's annoying son comes in and says something about the club (that it closed down, I think) and leaves. Gabino tells him to get back here, but Pilar manages to make him calm down and sit to eat.

Lucía says she can't believe the article was right and runs to get in the building. Ale runs behind her to stop her and Leo behind Ale. It's not supposed to be funny, but it is. Lucía manages to get in. Ale tells her that the women are studying at the university and they need the money to pay for it or for a sick family member. Lucía says that if she told her from the start, she would have accepted it and Ale says that she wouldn't have forgiven her. Lucía reminds her that someone forced her to a be a prostitute too and I think she told her that she's doing the same thing.

P..s: EC is one of the prisoners.

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 32, Martes, August 16, 2022 - Parte 3/8

Ale wants to talk with Lucía at home, but she refuses. She says that she is ashamed she's Ale's daughter and leaves. Ale is freaking out, Leo goes to calm her down, but I'm not sure he's helping.

Silvia is with Claudia and is anxious because she's broke. Diego comes and Silvia leaves. Claudia says she's been through a lot and doesn't want Diego to mistreat her. Diego says that he's changing and that he wants a second chance, but Claudia breaks up with him and leaves.

Lucía is packing. Casilda and Isaura get in her room and she tells them what kind of place Ale owns. Isaura pretends to be surprised. Lucía tells Casi that the house and the things she has is because Ale is prostituting women. She asks Isaura if she knew too and Isaura starts making excuses for why she didn't tell her. Lucía asks both of them for how long they knew. Casi says she always knew, but her madrina had prohibited her to say anything. Isaura starts making excuses again, but Casi says that she's a liar, she is WORKING at the club. Lucía is shocked when she hears this and tells them both to get out.

When they get out, Casi and Isaura are accusing each other of making Lucía leave. When Lucía gets down, Isaura tells her "well, what did you want me to do? Be left homeless?" Lucía tells her that she wanded her to have some dignity and Isaura says that she did everything for her and she has never done anything that is against Lucía.

Alejandra rushes in the house and begs Lucía to let her explain, she needs her to stay here with her. Lucía tells her that she was starting to feel things for her, for her mamá, but she now she knows she's lying all the time and she only thinks about herself, so she can't feel anything for Ale. Lucía adds that the only thing she wants is money and power and Casi says that her madrina loves her a lot. Isaura puts a finger on her lips (basically the "shhh" move without the "shhh") to stop Casi from talking. Lucía says that she trusted her, but the more she stays in this house, the more lies she learns about. Ale is crying and asks for an opportunity to change, but Lucía says that she had the opportunity for 25 years. She leaves, Ale tries to stop her but is unsuccessful.

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 32, Martes, August 16, 2022 - Parte 4/8

It's nighttime and Lucía went to her friend Toña's. She tells her that everyone deceived her in that house. Toña says that Ale must have known she wouldn't like what she was doing and Lucía tells her that Ale herself said that someone prostituted her many times in the past and she was scared for her life and now she's doing the same thing! Casi and Leo lied to her too, she's alone. She thanks Toña for listening to her and she asks Lucía if she wants to be alone for a bit. Lucía says yes and Toña leaves.

Isaura is stuffing more money in her mattress while she's talking to Alfredo, she tells him that Lucía got up and left all by herself because Ale is doing awful things. Alfredo says "la probrecita" and everything, but then can't understand what can he do about it. Isaura tells him that Lucía is alone in San Jacinto and Fer is in prison, does he finally understand what he has to do or does she have to explain it with apples? LOLOL! Alfredo says yes, he doesn't need her explanations and Isaura says that she'll come tomorrow to get her comission. The hang up and Alfredo gets in his car.

Heri calls Rafael and tells him that he wants to talk to him about the thing that interests him most. Rafael says "What happened with Lucía?" Heri tells him that she learnt that Ale is the owner of the club and went back to San Jacinto. Rafael says that when he finds out where she is, he'll wait for her with open arms. "See how strong we are when we are together?" Rafael says and Heri hangs up (won't he tell him about Juventino?)

The next scene has great camera angles (not ironic, they're actually pretty good). We see a fire and the camera turns to Toña. Her house is ON FIRE! She wakes up and runs to where Lucía is. She tries to open the door, but the handle is very hot. She screams Lucía's name, no answer.

Idiot Alfredo is right outside Toña's with some dudes who hold guitars, but sees the fire. Toña goes outside and tells Alfredo that Lucía is in the house that's burning and she needs his help. Alfredo rushes in and screams Lucía's name too. We see unconscious Lucía in the room that is burning the most. Alfredo breaks the door down and gets in. He grabs Lucía and then we have Alfredo, with Lucía in his arms, escaping in slow motion. Seconds after he gets her out, the room has a fire explosion-thing right behind them (still in slow motion). Great scene.

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 32, Martes, August 16, 2022 - Parte 5/8

Afredo gets her out of the house and tells her to breath. She opens her eyes, she's alive (obviously). The firefighters come and we get a few more shots of the burning house.

Lucía is now at hospital and slimeball Alfredo is there with her. Her phone rings. Unknown mumber again. Alfredo picks it up and a voice informs him that this is a call from the prison of Puebla. Alfredo accepts the call and -guess what- it's Fer. Alfredo starts talking and Fer is shocked that Alfredo picked it up and wants to talk to Lucía. Alfredo says that Lucía isn't in a condition to speak, her house in San Jacinto caught on fire. (Oh, so that was her house, not Toña's? I thought Heri had her house, there was a trial but the whole "does Lucía own the house" was complicated? Do I have brain fog again and don't remember something? If I were a lot older I'd say I have Alzheimer's or something...) Fer insists that he wants to talk to Lucía and Alfredo says that she can't and that they're at a hospital, respect the process and hangs up. Fer is furious.

Lucía is starting to wake up and Alfredo puts down her phone. She doesn't see this, of course. When she wakes up, Alfredo tells her that they're at a hospital and she asks about Toña, but she's ok, she's at the room right next to them. She then asks about her house and Alfredo doesn't say anything, so it's probably completely destroyed now.

A doctor comes in to check Lucía and tells Alfredo to get out. I already love this guy. He's giving us less screen time of Alfredo. He says they're waiting for the lab results to see if there's any damage from the smoke inhalation and goes to check her heart and lungs.

Casi is with Leo, who asks her if she talked with Ale. Casi tells him that Ale went to the hospital with Lucía. He then asks about the baby and she lets him feel the baby (isn't this how you say it in English?) He says that he wants to give them an opportunity, he doesn't want his son to approach him about abandoning his mom the time she needed him (or something like that). Casi kisses him, Leo is a bit awkward afterwards.

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 32, Martes, August 16, 2022 - Parte 6/8

Lucía must be better now, because she doesn't have the plastic thing she had to wear to breath (when you forget its name in all the languages you know). She tries to get up, but Alfredo sees her and tells her to rest. She wants her phone and Alfredo gives it to her (did he delete Fer's call?) He tells her that he's the one who risked his life to save her (🤢🤮) and Lucía says thank you from the bottom of her heart, but she wants him to go away now. Toña gets in her room and they hug. Alfredo finally goes away. She and Toña talk about Lucía's house burning down. Ale gets in and Toña says she called her, she was scared and didn't know what to do. Ale thanks her and asks Lucía if the can talk for a bit.

Fer goes to where EC is and tells him he's sure they caused Lucía's home to burn down. He attacks EC and his crew and then another crew comes. I'll call the leader Sunglasses, because he wears sunglasses (shocking). Fer looks at them. EC is behind him and he has a knife...

Ale asks Lucía if the fire was an accident, but she says she doesn't know and she hopes the police do their job. (If you think that the police will do their job, raise your hand. No hands in the air? As I was expecting...) She's cold to Ale, which is justified. Ale tells her that it's better if she comes back to her house and Lucía rejects the offer; she's going to Toña's. Ale insists, because she doesn't want anything to happen to Lucía and Lucía says she doesn't want to live in a house where everyone is lying to her. Ale insists, she'll die if anything happens to her.

The doctor from previously comes back in. Ale says she's Lucía's mom and the doctor says that he got the results and everything is fine; she and her BABY are ok. Ale and Lucía are shocked, Lucía asks the doctor if she's pregnant and he confirms it. Lucía cries from happiness, she's expecting Fer's child! Ale is happy too.

When the doctor leaves, Lucía tells Ale that she wants to be left alone. Ale says no, she and the baby need her! Lucía tells her that she lived without her for 25 years, she can do the same now. Lucía adds that she (Lucía) has every right to choose where her baby will grow up and whether or not will be surrounded by lies. Ale says that she didn't tell her anything because she was afraid of losing her. Lucía tells her to get out. She does and Lucía touches her belly and smiles.

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 32, Martes, August 16, 2022 - Parte 7/8

Back at the prison, Fer gets hit by Sunglasses' crew, who I guess is EC's too, so he hits them back. The prison cops come, who are just as stupid as the other cops, come. They take Fer away, because these idiots think that he started it (technically he did, but previously and with good reason. In this scene, one of EC's guys started it.) The cops take him away and one of them says "you'll pay for what you did to a woman" which would be good if Fer was guilty, since he must have said it for Roxana's death. EC THANKS(!!!) the cops as if HE's the victim here. As Fer is leaving, he screams something about Lucía.

Toña and Lucía are in Lucía's hospital room and are talking about Lucía's pregnancy. They say that she and Fer are going to be a family when he gets out of prison. What they don't know is that Rafael is right outside the door and probably heard the whole thing. Judging from his face, he probably heard Toña saying Lucía is pregnant. He leaves.

Michelle asks Alfredo where he was and if he was with Lucía. Alfredo says that he can't put up with her tantrums today, it is such a difficult day. Michelle says that he must think that now her brother's in jail, he has a clear path to be with Lucía. He tells her to stop saying stupid things and Michelle goes to leave. He threatens her, saying that if she leaves, she can forget about him. She says "that's what I'm trying to do" and leaves! Alfredo is taken aback. Finally, this girl did something smart!

Fer is either at his cell or at solitary confinement. He remembers EC telling him that he has to obey him if he wants Lucía to be ok and then Alfredo telling him that she's at hospital because of the fire. He starts screaming and hitting the walls of the cell/solitary confinement. Poor guy.

Michelle went to her mom's. She will break up with Alfredo! I was waiting for the moment La Estupida will stop being una estupida for ages! She's just worried that she'll be alone. (What's wrong with being alone? Nada! We don't need anyone!) Marta tells her that she'll meet a great guy when she least expects it (you have met one already! Néstor!) Michelle says she'll help her (Marta) with the pastillas.

Fer is sitting at a piece of furniture (can't tell what's that). He gets up and tells a guard that he wants to call someone.

Mujer de Nadie, Capítulo 32, Martes, August 16, 2022 - Parte 8/8

Oddly enough, we have a "un par de días" timeskip. Huh?

Lucía came to visit Fer. She awkwardly waves at him. He sits down and she asks him if he's alright about a hundred times, because it's obvious he's lying.

She tries to tell him she's pregnant, but he cuts her off (UGH!) and says to her to never look for him again. Lucía is surprised, of course. Fer must have been jealous that his siblings did stupid things and he didn't, because he tells Lucía that HE killed Roxana! Lucía is shocked and Fer says that he never stopped being with her and he killed her because he ____ with the marriage (freaked out? Didn't catch that).

Lucía tries to tell him that she's pregnant again, but he cuts her off AGAIN and says that she should never look for him again, she should forget about him and live her life. He leaves. Lucía is left alone and she keeps repeating that it can't be true.

And with our protagonist and us in shock, we have the Fin del Capítulo.

Mexicana

Diego and Katya made me laugh, arguing like most couples will do on occasion.

"Señito", this telenovela is really testing my Spanish vocabulary, and finding it wanting. I'm learning lots of new words, but the thing is, can I remember them?

Battle Royale between doña Maty and "daughter" Andrea. It almost came to fisticuffs, but Andrea whispered the magic words into Maty's ear, "I'll raise your salary." That seems to have helped matters   :-)

A happy Gladys scores! Mario, he's not that happy. Meanwhile Sofía dropped in on a nervous Nacho who declined her approaches because of his little problem. "Your loss," she tells him and exits. Unhappy Nacho.

Unhappy Mario, too, the next morning. He tells poor crying Gladys that he's very attracted to her, but he's a married man with a child, and he can't forget that. Kinda rough for Gladys, who goes on a crying jag. Mario leaves. Kind of cold on Mario's part.

And a few minutes later Mario tells Gladys that she's right, they deserve a chance for happiness. Smiles, cries, and kissy kissy. How long this will last, I don't know, but for now they are OK.

Doña Maty is a force to be reckoned with. She and Andrea yell and scream and threaten, but Maty wants her salary doubled and won't take "No" for an answer.

"MUJER DE NADIE"

Weirdo: We're in Ultimos Capitulos.

Something tells me Rafael, Isaura & Co., will steal Lucia's baby & give it to Casilda.

Just saying!

Who's doing the recap for last night's episode ?

Mujer #32

Gracias, Weirdo.

This gets grimmer all the time. I don't see how Fernando will get out of that prison alive.

So, now that Alejandra's "club" has been shut down and she is out of business what happens to all her assets? Do those get seized as the fruits of an illegal enterprise? Can Leonardo save them by proving that the house and at least a share of the money rightfully belongs to Casilda?

Gabino's son needs to get a life.

Lucia's life will never be out of danger until Rafael and Heriberto are dead and Alfredo is stopped in whatever way that is necessary.

I'll believe Michelle when and if she shoves Alfredo off a cliff in Acapulco. I agree that being single for one's whole life is nothing to be afraid of. There is no stigma about it anymore.

Claudia was smart to ditch Diego; he has more issues than The New York Times.

The fact that Fernando could not look Lucia in the eye when she visited him should be sufficient evidence to her that something is seriously not right. He is incapable of murder and she knows that.

Heriberto's glee at Juventino's heart attack was so stupid. Gertrudis isn't stupid and his premature remarks about Juventino dying will not be forgotten.

If there is any justice at all in this story Rafael and Heriberto will take each other out, but that would be less interesting than if it were Rafael and Roxana.

I will bullet-point the Wikipedia info before I leave for my appointment because I don't know what time I'm returning. I haven't seen last night's episode yet.

Mujer #33

I won't be able to watch this until later, so here are the highlights from the Wikipedia page:

--- Rafael visits Lucía in her workshop to inform her that Fernando killed Roxana after learning that she was expecting his child.
--- Alejandra does not believe Leonardo's good intentions.
--- Fernando assures Paulina that he broke up with Lucía to protect her.
--- Isaura looks for Rafael to gain his trust.
--- Carlos starts flirting with Claudia. Alejandra learns that Lucía is leaving Puebla to start a new life.
--- Leonardo assures Casilda that he does not want to be with her.
--- Paulina informs Fernando that no one knows about Lucía.
--- Heriberto confesses to Juventino that he planned to murder him.
--- Casilda goes into labor, but the situation becomes complicated and she loses her baby.
--- Lucía becomes a mother of a baby girl, but Isaura plans to take her away her baby so that Rafael can get closer to her.

I can't wait to see this.

"Claudia was smart to ditch Diego; he has more issues than The New York Times." LOLOL! I laughed out loud, thanks, Urban.

"The fact that Fernando could not look Lucia in the eye when she visited him should be sufficient evidence to her that something is seriously not right. He is incapable of murder and she knows that."
and
"Heriberto's glee at Juventino's heart attack was so stupid. Gertrudis isn't stupid and his premature remarks about Juventino dying will not be forgotten."
ITA.

"Something tells me Rafael, Isaura & Co., will steal Lucia's baby & give it to Casilda." Wow, Steve! That was a great guess! As Urban said in the highlights, this is what they're planning to do.

I hope they don't time-skip again, it's getting tiring.

Mujer

Uran, thank you for the bullet points . This show is certainly grim with so many bad people at different levels of despicable preying on the weak and innocent.

I think somehow Fernando will get out of prison and he, Luica, and bebe will get a HEA. Unlike Turkish dizis, Mexican telenovelas do not usually kill the galan. He usually somehow returns blooded and bruised to his love for a HEA.

OT...Judy...come back to us soon. Love, hugs to you.

Mujer #33

My concern is that with this producer there is no guarantee of a happy ending. This story has become so grim.

I will have more to say later when I can view this episode.

La Madrastra + La Mexicana y el Güero

1) Does anyone know when this is coming to Univisión? Will this replace La Mexicana y el Güero?
2) LMEG fans, how many episodes does this one have? It's not even on Últimas Semanas and if this does get replaced by La Madrastra, I want to know when this will happen. I've watched the first few episodes (of La Madrastra) in a website and I've already loved them!
2) Who is will on this patio?

Mexicana

"Sofía certainly looks yummy, but she just as certainly has a harsh side. Quite harsh". OMG Andy, she was truly frightening in the airport scene. And in front of her daughter??? I thought there was a slight possibility she and Mario might make up but...but after she threw the rings in his face and after the LOTR throwing of the rings into the fire, that doesn't seem likely. Of course, his sleeping with Gladys didn't help.

I didn't understand what happened at the restaurant, thank you for explaining that. Katya has a lot of growing up to do.

"A happy Gladys scores! Mario, he's not that happy" made me smile. Mario did seem miserable, rolling the suitcase out right afterward wasn't terribly romantic. Gladys can do better. Ignacio seems to be an odd match for Sofia, but I really like him. I wondered why he rebuffed her, now I understand. I do like how lovely he treats her daughter.

Dona Maty and Maty went at it! I wouldn't discount Maty!!

Every time I see Gonzalo, I like him less and less.

OT/UNIVISION:

Weirdo: From what I'm hearing "LOS RICOS" is replacing "MUJER DE NADIE" on Tuesday, September 6th beginning with a 2-HR Gran Estreno at 8:00 PM CST.

"LA HERENCIA" will go back to their 8:00 PM CST slot on Wednesday, September 7th & "LOS RICOS" will move into the 9:00 PM CST slot formerly owned by "MDN".

"MUJER DE NADIE":

UA: I don't think Claudia will get away from Diego very much longer based on the twists & turns of this Telenovela.

Not shocked that Isaura plans on stealing Lucia's baby & odds are Casilda will get the baby.

With I think 12 episodes left, they better make it JUICY in the Gran Final by Monday, September 5th.

Mujer #33

Isaura has become more despicable than ever. How much money does she have stashed in that mattress and look how little she is handing to Lucia, whose inheritance she had been plundering up to Jacopo's death (which she is at least partly responsible for)? Unless Alejandra has actually committed murder Isaura is even worse.

Paulina has been diagnosed with leukemia and it looks like she has decided to crawl away and die, as she is trying to swear her doctor to secrecy.

Somehow Alejandra is back in business.

Fernando is writing a journal addressed to Lucia which I hope he will hand to Paulina or anyone else he can trust (if there is anyone else). Where the hell is his lawyer?

Rafael told Lucia that he is sterile thus convincing her that Roxana was knocked up by Fernando. However, we know she wasn't pregnant at the time of her death due to no typical novela symptoms -- and wouldn't she have come screaming about this to Fernando -- so where is the ME's report to say otherwise? Also, we didn't see her funeral or anyone talking to Rafael about it so is she really dead?

Heriberto is currently flying high as the new mayor but we hope not for long.

Gertrudis found Lucia in her new town and caused her to fall and go into labor a little too early.

Finally, Juventino isn't dead but in a wheelchair. No movement on his own and almost no vocal sounds. How beautifully ironic it would be if he were faking it and could take out Heriberto to save someone else the trouble.

O/T

Weirdo,
Mexicana has 127 episodes, so there is a wait. I am also not sure that Madrastra is appropriate for that time period. It just went on the air in Mexico on Monday and the 2005 version was 120 episodes long.

O/T Susanlynn
This was for you on last week's blog. Not sure you saw it as it was the last comment.
Beth S

Susanlynn,
Have you seen Pajaro Soñador? It's one of my favorite dizis. Great chemistry between the two leads. It's more of a comedy, so a nice change from the usual novelas & dizis. And the galan is wonderful (Can Yaman). I've also seen Todo Por Mi Hija, Amor Eterno, Fatmagul, Kosem, & Hija del Embajador. Currently watching Infiel and, for second time, Pajaro S. I recommend all!

"MUJER DE NADIE" EPISODE #33:

UA: Watching Buji Gertudis shoving a very pregnant Lucia to the ground like that ANGERED me & it was no surprise that Lucia went into labor EARLY. What is it with villains instigating the early births of their weak victims ?

On Creepy Herb becoming the new Mayor: YIKES & who in the expletive elected him ? What's next in his sinister plans of a political career: the Mexican Senate or scheming his way to Los Pinos by becoming Mexico's next President ?

Are we're really sure Rafael is sterile ? I just do NOT buy anything that scumbag says! I mean it seems like a bunch of creeps (Rafael, Alfredo, Creepy Herb, etc.,) are all eye-googling after Lucia.

What is she to them ? Santa Evita: whom they could kidnap in the middle of the night.

Weirdo: Juventino in a wheelchair wasn't a surprise either, but Creepy Herb insulting him like that was like "DUDE: You're going to regret saying that garbage to a paralyzed person one of these days."

I'm assuming Jackass Leonardo is still being an uppity Jackass since he obviously HATES Gullible Casilda now that she lost the baby.

Speaking of babies: Jackass Isaura (AKA StepMommy Dearest) is on the so-called "rescue" because she's plotting to take Lucia's baby away from her UGH.

Mujer #33

I think that Gertrudis possibly wanted Lucia to have pregnancy complications and/or a dead baby. She is still buying into the idea that Lucia is a loose woman, but there could also be envy behind this because Lucia is young and beautiful.

I am not buying into the idea that Rafael is sterile. He could have had a vasectomy because he is not interested in babies or children, but I also strongly doubt that Roxana was interested in motherhood. Like I said, where is the ME's report?

OT

Hello, Beth . I have watched all the dizis you listed except Todo, Kosem, Parajo and Infiel( which doesn't appeal to me . ) I may give Kosem and Parajo a try. Thanks. I have become a big fan of Turkish dizis , the actors , the stories, and the look into Turkish life and culture .

"MUJER DE NADIE" Episode #33:

UA: Did you say "loose woman" ? Lucia cannot seem to catch a break.
