I posted this message on the earlier Telemundo y Más page, but I am reposting it here to be sure people see it:

Novelera (TTh) and I (MW) have each been doing two recaps of Amor Valiente every week. However, neither of us wants to add a Friday recap to our plate. So if people want a Friday recap, someone else needs to volunteer. The recap needn't be long--a single page is fine. If no one offers to do one, we'll just have to depend on comments.

I'm working on a recap for Thursday's episode

amor-val
#51 – Part 1 of 3

We resume with Cesur grilling Yunei Kayaoglu. “Who are you protecting?” He grabs him by the collar. “Who are you afraid of? He killed my mother, a sick woman who was harmless.” The guard says: “My only way out was to flee.” Cesur: “Was it Tahsin Korludag?”

Tahsin (TK from now on to save keystrokes) and some slick looking guy talk. TK: “At first I was angry. (about being booted out of the company named after him) But now I’m all right with it. The partners won’t cause me problems. The party (political) of Lt. Sukru will help you. You’ll be the candidate for Mayor. And I’ll help you destroy my old company.”

Cesur wants the guard to testify in TK’s trial. The guy finally says that Salih asked for the acero (steel). And Salih said that Tahsin asked for the steel. But the guard says he doesn’t know if this is true. “I regret what happened. I was part of that woman’s death without knowing about it.” We hear sirens and the cops arrive to arrest he guard.

TK gets a package. It’s a CD. He sees a cell phone video that’s been placed on a CD. He hears a voice. “When he thought Adalet was kidnapped, he raced there. Then Cesur arrived. This damned Tahsin will die without realizing what happened." The last part of the video shows Salih. TK starts coughing and uses his inhaler.

Sirin is with her father and tells him she’s happy he freed himself from Riza. [Of course Riza is lurking there and watching this conversation.}

TK calls Salih to meet him somewhere.

Hulya walks in on Cahide doing something in the kitchen and snarks that now Cahide is kitchen help. She looks smug and says that she talked at length with TK last night. Bottom line: Hulya thinks she’ll be the new Mrs. Korludag and run the place.

TK and Salih meet in a deserted spot. We see Riza lurking. [How the hell does he get around so fast without a car?] Salih asks TK what’s going on. TK: “How could you do it? You’ve pretended to be on my side all this time. How could you partner with Riza? You killed Cesur’s mother so that he’d kill me." TK has shown him that he has a recording of Salih’s betraying him. Salih demands that TK give him the video. TK calls him a rat. Salih: "I’ve spent my life cleaning up after you. You’ve exploited me for years!”

TK and Salih grapple for the gun. We don’t see who got shot. This is Telemundo and we get a bunch of commercials instead.

Cesur demands that Suhan bring Salih to him. Suhan goes to the Korludag house to ask for Salih and is told by Reyhan that he’s not there.

TK stands staring at Salih’s dead body. Salih’s phone rings by his side. Riza approaches. “Well done. I would have had to do it myself if you hadn’t saved me the trouble. You killed the only man who covered up all your crimes.” TK points the gun at him. Riza holds up his cell and says he recorded TK killing Salih. And he already sent the video to a friend. So, TK doesn’t dare kill him. “I’m the only one who can save you. Notice the balance between give and take.”

#51 – Part 2 of 3

Cahide is walking on a lonely road alone. Turan grabs her, putting his hand over her mouth. He warns her not to yell when he takes his hand off. “What do you want?” Turan: “Hulya. Where is she?’

DA Serhat has come to Casa Korludag. He says that the guy they arrested gave them a name: Salih Turhan. Reyhan is nearby and her jaw drops. “He wanted the steel (Salih). Is he here? Serhat is told that he’s not there and isn’t answering his phone. Suhan: “Now I know why Cesur was looking for him?” Serhat: “Did Cesur know? This is not good.”

Cesur is driving and plays a message from Salih on his phone. “I’ll meet you where your father died.” Cesur looks like an avenging angel driving along.

TK is home, and Suhan is angry with him for not returning her calls. “We found the guard and he confessed it all. Salih was the one who wanted the steel.”

Cesur has arrived. He doesn’t see Salih around and calls his cell. Then he finds it on the ground. We see Riza call from a phone booth to report a crime. Serhat puts out an APB for Salih. Then a cop comes in to tell Serhat that they’ve gotten a call reporting a crime.

Suhan asks her father for the truth (silly girl). “Did you have Salih get the steel?” TK says the guy betrayed him. Salih killed Cesur’s mother. Suhan: “Why would he do that? He has no motive.” {We see poor Reyhan looking on and hearing all this.] TK: “Pray to God Cesur doesn’t learn about this. He’ll try to kill Salih the same way he tried to kill me." Reyhan faints and Suhan runs to her.

The cops pull Cesur over, telling him there’s been a report of his crime. “Get out of the vehicle and put your hands on it.” It appears that Riza has managed to put Salih’s corpse in the bed of Cesur’s truck. Oops!

Cesur is in DA Serhat’s office and tells him that he didn’t kill Salih. “It was Tahsin. Salih was only una herramienta (a tool). It’s obvious that TK made him do it (get the steel), but then he killed him to save himself.” Serhat: “You kidnapped him once before. You’re in a big mess. You can’t seem to see what’s going on here. A man died. He was murdered. Then we find the body in your vehicle, the body of the very guy who was involved in killing your mother. And just when you were searching for that guy. You’ll remain in jail tonight and face the judge in the morning.”

Riza has a fine dinner, apparently the second one at the restaurant. He announces that TK will pay. This seems to satisfy the waiter.

Cahide sucks up some more, taking TK’s jacket he was on his way to launder. Probably blood on it.

Sirin is upset that her mother has fainted. Reyhan, gasping, says that TK said that her father killed Cesur’s mother. She sobs.

#51 – Part 3 of 3

Cahide, apparently as poor at laundry as everything else, puts TK’s jacket in a hamper. Hulya, of course, walks in, asking what’s going on.

In a flashback we see Cahide tell Turan that the baby is his. She wants to help save the baby from the “demon”. She says he’d probably die under her care. Turan: “But she said it was Bulent’s baby! I’ll take my son!” She tells him they need to do it quietly. She’ll hand the baby over. She has a plan for that night. He’s to come to the back door and call her from there. She’ll come down and give him the baby.

Cahide comes to tell Hulya that TK wants some tea specifically made by her. She’s all grins about this. We hear a knock at the door. It’s the cops. She has the baby in a carrier. She scuttles out of the way after letting them in.

Sirin is remembering her father telling her he couldn’t tell her about the hold TK has on him.

The cops announce that, sadly, Salih was killed by a bullet in the heart. They announce that the suspect is Cesur Almendaroglu. We see Suhan clutch at her stomach where mini-Cesur resides. TK tells Suhan that Cesur did it.

Cahide explains to Turan over the phone about the cops arriving and her not being able to get the baby to him.

Banu to the rescue. Apparently Omer is with the world’s best on-call-24-hours babysitter. Cesur wants out. He says the whole thing was a trap. “He’s free and I’m here!” [I’m not sure if he means Riza or TK.] He insists there’s no evidence, no gunpowder residue on his hands. She tells him she’ll prove his innocence.

We see alternate scenes with DA Serhat asking Suhan and TK questions. He asks her what happened after she returned home. She says Cesur was looking for Salih, who wasn’t there. He asks TK about his having called Salih Turhan to come to him. TK: “True. He didn’t come. To tell you the truth, Señor Fiscal, I wanted to show everyone that I never killed Fugen Alemdaroglu. I called him to ask him to find that lying beggar to prove my innocence." Serhat to Suhan: “When talking with Yunei Kayaoglu, how did Cesur seem?” Suhan replies that he was upset.

TK appears to volunteer this: “Wasn’t he the guy who tried to murder me near a cliff. Since he came here there’s been nothing but problems. Cesur Alemdaroglu killed Salih.”

From his cell Cesur asks a guard to see Serhat.

Returning from the DA’s office Suhan asks her father a question. “Since finding out about Salih, you said that he killed Cesur’s mother also. He was your right-hand man for years. He did something without your knowledge, and now you think he’s guilty of everything?”

Thanks very much, novelera, for this excellent recap of an increasingly unbelievable episode. You've included several key points that I missed while watching it (I guess I was too busy scratching my head.) One was certainly Riza's claim that he had already sent to a friend the video of TK and Salih struggling for the gun. But huh? Riza has a friend? Hasn't he alienated just about everyone he's met?

And how/when did Riza manage to take Salih's body and carry it to Cesur's truck and dump it there without anyone seeing him? Does he have a magical, invisible dizi transporter? Have we been watching a sci-fi show by mistake?

And the struggle for the gun. Wasn't it Harun that got killed? Oops, sorry, wrong dizi.

I liked the scene where Suhan touches her belly when the police announce that the suspect in Salih's death is Cesur.

And thanks, Hulya, for providing some comic relief. Yes, I'm sure TK will soon discover that you're the woman of his dreams. (As in pesadillas)

I found it a bit hopeful that the episode ended with Suhan again seeming to have doubts about Mean Daddy. OTOH, that's an exercise she seems to perform just about every day.

Excellent, excellent recap novelera! This episode has me completely stumped and screaming Balderdash! A complete mess and I have a lot of questions?????Unfortunately, I’m at work and it’s a late night…..sigh…..

Amor Val

Novelera,, thank you for an outstanding account of every unbeievable twist and turn .

AMOR VAL

Thank you for a great recap.

This episode could a been called, "Dude you got played".

I too am confused, is this all occurring on a 1/2 acre of land, and that includes the former killing site?

Riza does seem to be able to use many "Harry Potter" skills. The man has serious skills, normally not picked up in solitary confinement for thirty years. I am thinking Hogwarts had a homeschool program for special cases.

As for Cesur's amazement that this pinned on him? Dude you screamed it from the rooftops. "Death to the Killer of my Mother".

I did love Cahide and the traveling baby. Poor Turan, he sees all the cop cars and Cahide is like beats me, this is an everyday occurrence here.

Now of course question for ages, why in the hell would Salih want to kill the old lady? Salih was a yes man not a great thinker.

Fev at Hogwarts

Amor Val

These people love to wander in the woods ...and whenever anyone is wandering in those woods..Riza is there .

Did he actually send the video of the grappling for the gun to a " friend" , or did he just tell Tah that?
We are just going to have to don our beanies and suspend our disbelief realky, really high regarding how Riza managed to get the body into Cesar's truck. He Did seem to have worked up quite an appetite .

Huly is the eternal cockeyed optimist . She is now sure that she is in line to be the next Mrs. Tahsin. Hold on to your dreams.

Poor baby almost got given away to his jailbird dad who I am sure is ready to be a daddy...probably has The crib all set up and formula in the frig. Would Huly notice her baby was gone ? I am guessing ...big no. Girl is busy making tea for Tah.

My question is,..Will Sirin and Kemel, who have been unwaveringly loyal to Cesar , believe that he killed Salih?

Faithful Banu was right there at the jail .

amor-val

Thanks for all the VERY witty comments from you all. A lot happened last night, and I just tried to get it down without too much editorial commenting. But I couldn't resist a "silly girl" at Suhan asking her father for the truth. He's got a pretty good sized schnozz so I could have added a Pinocchio reference.

Juanita: Amen to the head scratching. If I knew how to put in those emojos, a female image doing so would be SO apt. I loved "wasn't it Harun who got shot?" As veterans of Spanish language TNs we're starting to pick up tendencies in dizis. And you ARE an optimist if you think Suhan is going to turn on Mean Daddy anytime soon. She would need Riza's video to believe any of it.

Fev: You got me laughing with your clever comments. Yes, how did Riza learn all this video recording, etc., while locked up? Major IT program in Turkish prisons? It's laughable he's so good with a cell phone. I remember when I got my first smart phone...sharp learning curve. And I hadn't been in prison for 30 years and have an adult son's brain to pick.

Susanlynn: Funny! Riza worked up an appetite loading dead Salih into Cesur's truck bed. They throw in a few references to his long stay in prison, like asking the waiter if he pronounced "Stroganoff" correctly. Actually, I want Turan to have the baby. He seemed thrilled at the idea of being a father. And Hulya is the WORST! She's been portrayed as a sort of sociopath all the way through. Her new plan is living high off the hog by sharing a bed with the old goat. Good question about Sirin and Kemal. I think they'll believe him. Assuming he gets out of jail to tell them he only went to meet their father to find out what happened to their mother. And, if he didn't kill TK when he had the chance, much less would he kill the "tool".

Amor Val

So Cesur had a plan to escape imprisonment by confessing to Salih’s murder and leading Serhat to the “supposed” scene of the crime. He takes Serhat’s gun, from the back of his pants mind you, threatens to shoot Serhat to the other cops present, then leads
the bumbling cops on a wild goose chase to catch him, lol! Of course he gets away, and contacts Rifat to get him some supplies. Have to say I love Rifat! He’s there for Cesur 100%.

At least Sirin knows that Cesur is not guilty of killing her Dad, and tells Suhan so. She whispers to Suhan that she must protect Cesur and help him, and for once I see a lightbulb go off in Suhan’s eyes. With the help of Rifat, Suhan leads the cops in the wrong direction, and goes to Cesur herself. Cesur is upset that Suhan has involved herself in this mess, and wants her to let him handle his own affairs. After her convincing him that she’s not going anywhere, they play Sherlock Holmes and Watson and somehow locate a “flower,” the “only” one native to a certain area in Korludag that Cesur noticed on dead Salih’s even deader shoe! Unbelievable right! I thought so too, lol!

Unfortunately, everything after this gets kinda jumbled for me. Cesur and Suhan are at the crime scene, along with Riza who has the power to be at every given necessary place when it’s needed! I swear, Riza must’ve logged in at least a hundred square miles the way that he hops from place to place! He was there, at the hotel, at Mean daddy’s office, at his room watching the video of Mean daddy and Salih, and then at the school of the little boy who witnessed the crime. I hope that nothing happens to the boy!

I really think Turhan is a handsome guy, but pretty dumb if you ask me. Riza is definitely the smart one, getting a hotel outta Mean daddy, lol! Plus he was able to talk Turhan outta getting his son from Huyla. Riza is becoming a menace to society more and more, and is turning out to be the main thorn in Cesur’s azz….which tells me that Mean daddy will probably definitely be redeemed!

Amor Val

Carmella, thank you for the recap . Yeah, I was baffled because I only understand a few random words , so I must rely on the visual. That is why I focus intently on Cesar . Yeah, that's why

Anyhoo, I figured Cesar used those public phones to call Rifat to meet him somewhere with "ropa" and ...whatever. Then I saw Suhan with DA and later at Rifat's garage . She gave him a box which I assumed had a tracking device . Then I saw the car with cops outside when she drove away. However , I guessed she was going to lead the cops astray .When Cesar opened the door, I thought it would be fickle Su standing there.

Thanks for translating what Sirin whispered to Su. I was hoping that she and Kemel wouldn't believe that Cesar killed her dad.

The rest was a mystery to me. Something about researching a flower ...very random . Then,Su And Ce are at the crime scene , and Su discovers bloody leaves And starts retching which Ce doesn't notice or hear ???? I was most!y focused on Cesars excellent disguise , sunglasses And a green baseball cap. My hub played baseball and collected baseball caps. Riza and I are both watching the retching and the disguise. I put on my baseball cap beanie. And I didn't know a kid witnessed the shooting , so I couldn't understand why Su went to the school...of course,Riza was right there watching her because...Riz is everywhere, all the time, 24\7 .

Tall, dark, and chronically stupid Turan is just out of prison and already under Riz's command . Idiot.

I don't know how awful Tah can possibly be redeemed ...no way.

amor-val

Wow, carmella, what a terrific account of last night's episode. Thanks VERY much!! I think you've covered everything important, and in style!

Yes, hard as it is to believe, Cesur succeeds in escaping from the DA and 3 or 4 cops. And he flags down the first vehicle to come down the road, which of course stops and lets this scruffy-looking guy in.

I was relieved that Sirin knows that Cesur didn't kill her father, AND that she tells this to Suhan and urges her to help Cesur. A less skillful dizi might have spent several episodes with Sirin (and perhaps Kemal) turning away from Suhan. Amor Valiente is far from perfect, but at least it doesn't waste time. And yes, I think you're right about Sirin's words making an impression on on-again-off-again Suhan.

I'm not really sure where the GPS tracking device came from. Did the DA give it to her to give to Rifat so the police could track Rifat to Cesur? I think so, and I think it was Suhan's idea to do what the DA suggested, but undermine his efforts by being the one who would be in contact with Cesur. At first, of course, it seems as if Suhan is agreeing to help the DA catch Cesur, but, as usual with this dizi, a FLASHBACK comes to our rescue.

And yes, it's a bit much that Cesur remembers a flower stuck on the dead Salih's shoe AND it turns out that the flower grows in only one place in Korludag, AND Cesur finds the bicycle tracks AND can tell that it's a child's bike, AND he discovers the bullet in the tree trunk. Whew! Alas, Sherlock missed one important thing: Riza was already at the site and managed to overhear everything Sherlock and Watson discovered.

Yes, Riza continues to be everywhere at once. At least now he has a somewhat plausible means of getting to all these places: Turan drives him. Before that, it was truly unbelievable, now only partly so. I agree with your saying that Riza is increasingly becoming the Main Menace. He's truly scary. As for Tahsin, ever since he had that bout of conscience about the baby's staying at Casa Korludag, I feared that he was likely going to be redeemed.

Again, many many thanks, carmella, for this delightful and helpful recap.

Amor Val

Thank you both Susalynn and Juanita for acknowledging my feeble attempt at a recap, lol. There was so much more that happened, and I have a hard time focusing on everything. I find myself still thinking about the last scene, when a new one is already onto something else. I don’t have a dvr, so I can’t tape and rewatch later. Most of my watching happens in real time, or I have to go to the Turkish version and don’t know what the hell they’re talking about! So muchas gracias for everything you added, and the humor that has me cracking up!

Susalynn, your subtle “thing” for Cesur is hilarious! But I TOTALLY get it! I’d take him——-in a heartbeat! And yeah, his NOT disguise was pretty original, lol. But doesn’t Suhan have a flower shop in addition to her glass thing, or is it a steel thing??? Hard to tell, but she is a flower expert of sorts…….Loved “tall, dark, and chronically stupid!!!” Hahahahahaha! Cute tough, lol…..

Juanita, from you, it’s truly a compliment! You are a stellar recapper! Don’t know if I’ll take on a recapper role, but I’ll give it a go from time to time, work permitting. Cesur, being a “tracker” on top of his many other skills was stretching it a bit. Now I want to know what exactly Cesur did for a living before going to Korludag??? He can fight like nobody’s business, he’s also good in the board room, very good with maintaining close relationship ties, chops woods, rides horses, and let’s not forget that he’s a GREAT cook! What can’t Cesur do besides keep Suhan by his side???

I also think that Serhat set up the whole GPS tracking thing with Suhan. He knows that Cesur didn’t do it, deep down, but he has to do things by the book, while Cesur is in complete rogue mode right about now. And what was it that Suhan said to Mean daddy when he told her to get rid of Reyhan because Salih was a traitor? The look on Mean daddy’s face after her comment was like a punch in his gut!

Thanks again you two! 👍🏼

Carmella, on my, so heart less Tah tells Su to get rid of Reyan ...after shooting her husband. This guy has ice wate r in those old veins and a stone cold heart . No way the writers can possibly redeem this ogre. I have I idea what Su replied ,but I hope it was a big NO.

amor-val

Great recap to get the patio started, carmella. Hit the most important parts.

Suhan told Tahsin, you can't hold her (Reyhan) responsible for everything Salih did just like I'm not responsible for everything you've done. But someone should actually gut punch Tahsin.

Amazing how #Ceshan pieced together the clues to find the crime scene and the boy. In the Turkish, Suhan said that flower was from the Lake Abant region and rare in Korludag.

ITA, Juanita, "Amor Valiente is far from perfect, but at least it doesn't waste time." That was one of the things I liked about it. We are a little more than halfway through Turkish ep 23 out of 32.

Riza’s understated evilness is a nice touch. Very creepy, indeed.

OT – Telemundo

Thanks, deb, for posting about El Fuego del Destino. This is another dizi. The Turkish title is Alev Alev (ablaze or aflame). It’s a short one, 28 Turkish eps. I recognize only one of the actresses, Dilan Çiçek Deniz. I haven’t seen it and wasn't planning to watch it in Turkish but since it's on Telemundo, I might give it a try.

Amor Val

The heatwave continues here . I take breaks from chores to hydrate and pop into the patio . Riza is a take on the classic strong , silent hero, but in Riza's case it is more like still waters run creepy crazy instead for deep. I am starting to wonder what Anvils the writers decided to assign to the villains , major and minor..

Amor Val

Thank you for the enlightening recap. For a while I thought someone had cast a HP confusion charm on me, but nope I really did witness Koralog CSI.

Now not to knock another country but I have watched several of these Turkish Telenovelas. So I guess what we see regarding jail or prison scenes is true..Would it not behoove the penal system to purchase some cheap florescent jumpsuits? Call me hard hearted, but it seems it would be much easier to spot an escapee behind a tiny pine tree that on it's best day makes Charlie Brown's tree look like the Rockefeller tree. In addition those police dudes were like right behind Cesur the Stunning, couldn't they have just popped a couple of caps??

Fev

amor-val

Carmella, don't sell yourself short! You did a terrific job of focusing on the important things, and doing so clearly and delightfully. Believe me, there are always more things than one can possibly cover, but that's not the point. There's no need to provide all the details of all the things that happen. IMHO, a recap should focus on the most important and/or interesting things. It should ideally leave plenty of room for other people to comment. If someone has already watched the episode, s/he doesn't need to have a blow-by-blow-by-blow account of what s/he has already seen. And if someone has been unable to watch the episode, the recap should provide an overall account of what was most important/interesting. Oops, I'm beginning to repeat myself, so I'll stop. I'm just very happy to hear that you'll do more of these when your schedule and energy level permit. The nice thing about Friday episodes is that the recap can be written the next day, if need be.

OT..I watched a Rick Steve's show on PBS about central Turkey . He Went to Urgup, Guzelyurt , Zelva, and Ankara . He attended a circumcision celebration which I have seen depicted in several dizis , including Kara Para Ask.

amor-val

Thanks SO much, Carmella for your recap! It had all your usual style and snark. Yes, I concur, this dizi does move along, especially as it gets closer to the end.

What I recall is Riza looking at his video of Salih being killed, probably gloating, and suddenly noticing a child wearing a blue shirt, or was it riding a blue bike. But it definitely disturbed him. Sometimes these dizis can be cruel, but I doubt anyone will kill the kid on the bike.

Now Riza, the Evil Genius, has a patsy to drive him around. And it is exhausting to see him peering through some shrubs constantly. I fear he'll clean up the blood before Serhat can get there.

Yes, this one uses those flashbacks quickly, often not giving us a chance to hiss, say, at Suhan for playing along with trapping Cesur. And getting him back in a jail cell where he can't play Sherlock will stall things. I actually fully bought Suhan knowing about that flower. Cesur verbally said it was purple with a yellow stem and she got busy on her phone showing him some purple flowers. I found that scene clever. After all she grew up around there. and they've shown her repeatedly running through all those areas.

Thanks, dondi, for putting in what Suhan said to her ghastly father. She really put him in his place by comparing herself with Reyhan in not being responsible for their deeds. I do not expect redemption for Tahsin. I expect death and hope for an awful one. But that constant use of an inhaler suggests a possible medical one. I'm up for one a bit more violent. Could he and Riza grapple on that cliff we saw and smash their respective brains out below?

Amor Val

Nove!era, yes, Tah seems to be using that inhaler more and more when he gets upset , but I vote for Riza and Tah grappling with each other at the edge of that cliff and free falling together into the Inferno .

I was trying to send a telepathic message to Su to pick up those bloody leaves and take them with her . She could have put them in Cesar's new baseball cap.

Count me as another vote for TK and Riza struggling at the edge of the cliff and then...bye bye.

Amor Val

Thank you dondi356, FEV,and novelera for your comments! Thank you dondi356 for the clarification on the convo between Mean daddy and Suhan. He looked “muy impacta,” but only for a moment. He’s used to getting momentarily knocked down, and getting right back up! Nothing can keep him down——unfortunately………

ITA with you FEV about the penal system purchasing those “fluorescent “ prison jumpsuits. But I also thought that Serhat said that Cesur was going to face the judge that very morning? Guess they wanted him dressed for the occasion, lol….

Couldn’t agree more novelera about a dramatic cliff death scene! Both Mean daddy and Riza off into the evil abysss…….and also like you, even though I may come off as a little bit sarcastic, I found the scene with Suhan searching for the flower plausible. I also like that they are finally on the same page. They’re all about “the business” and the endless fighting and digs from Suhan are put to rest for the time being…..I hope for good!

I noticed that they're saying Amor Valiente is now in its etapa final.. Whether that means we have a week or two to go, or another month, isn't clear. But we are getting close.

OT..Dondi, the show starring Tuba " Another Self" just popped up on Netflix. I will check it out.

amor-val

deb posted "El Fuego del Destino ", will premiere "Tuesday, September 6 at 9pm/8C".
So I guess we have another month of Amor Valiente. That sounds on target with the remaining number of Turkish eps.

OT Susanlynn

I finished Another Self. It was interesting and better than I thought it would be.

So, we have a month to wrap the storylines up before we watch the anvils fall

OT...Dondi, I watched the first fifteen minutes of Another Self, but it looked depressing , so I stopped.

Amor Valiente: only a month, huh? Too bad, cuz Cesar is such eye candy. Thanks for the recaps. Sometimes the editing leaves something to be desired. I am glad Rita has turned into Tahsin’s worst nightmare. He is mine also!!

O/T I tried the Netflix thing myself and was bored after the first couple episodes. I went to vix and Cukur is in Spanish, but a popular Turkish novela. I went back to La Intrusa which I missed because I had just begun studying Spanish. Once this is over if you want a puller of heartstrings de calidad start this one. Gaby Spanic Arturo Peniche , Guillermo Cantù, Domenika Paleta, Karla Alvarez, Sergio Sendel, Chantal Andre. I guarantee it will be worth the time. It was from the more golden days of the Mexican telenovela.

TELEMUNDO...

"La Reina del Sur 3", set to premiere in October.

"Teresa Mendoza embarks on her most dangerous adventure yet,"

"ventured to five countries in South America, taking the narrative to the streets of 16 major cities in the region. Viewers will find themselves transported to such legendary sites as the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia, Machu Picchu in Peru, the Teatro Colón in Argentina, and Santa Marta in Colombia, among many others".
