Part 1 of 3

Marta offered Roxana a drink, basically treating her as she should be treating Lucia. When she stepped away and Fernando tried to get Roxana to explain herself. The other day she was pressing him to pay back the loan and now she pays Carlos' bail? She told him “don't you know that I love you? And that I wanted to help you save your business?” There was also the issue of paying to keep this out of the press. Fernando congratulated her (sarcastically) and said no more when Marta and Michelle returned.
Roxana began kissing up to Marta and Michelle.

Isaura assures Lucía that Heriberto forced her father to give him the house in exchange for her freedom, Lucía seems to sense lies and refuses to believe this version.

Gertudis and Juventino visited Pedro in the hospital. He said that the men who did this threatened to kill him next time.

Martha is willing to pay all of Carlos' bail money to Roxana. Marta asked why Fernando had never presented her before and Fernando replied that Roxana was always so busy with her husband. Roxana said she had to leave for a meeting and Carlos kissed her on her way out. They exchanged a few words that imply that she is expecting something in return from him that isn't dinero.

Gertrudis demanded that Heriberto tell her whether he was behind what happened to Pedro. He claimed no responsibility but admitted liking this. He noticed the diamond pendant and mocked police salaries. He then announced that he will shortly be returning home and she told him that this was not his house. Same old, same old.

Isaura threatens Casilda with betrayal. Casilda basically dared her, as Alejandra already knew about Leonardo. Isaura followed up with the threat to reveal what she knew about the website. Casilda pretended not to care. Isaura walked out with a threat.

Fernando despises Roxana since he wants nothing to do with her. She is still refusing to get the message and continued coming on to him. This ended with him telling her she will get back every centavo. She shoutd after him “Sooner or later you will accept my offer.”

Carlos tried calling Paulina whose voicemail took the call. He did not leave a message. Marta came in to tell him his bath was ready (WTF?) He was depressed. Michelle came in to tell Marta that the woman from the cafeteria called about the pastries. Marta said she would call her back. She actually preferred Roxana for Fernando over Lucia, whom Michelle called a descarada.

Rafael lets Lucía know that Roxana paid Fernando's brother's bail. Details to follow in person. Marta overheard a few words but was interrupted by Carlos, who had decided to go out. Fernando asked Carlos why he accepted Roxana's help; Carlos asked if he would have preferred to see him locked up. [We flies on the wall would have preferred that. – Author] As Carlos went out the door Marta asked about this and Fernando said he would tell her later. He then followed Carlos.

Rafael went to the talavera and tried to plant seeds of doubt about Fernando's integrity. He told Lucia that Roxana drew out major cash to pay Carlos' bail. She looked a little shocked and said nothing, which pleased Rafael, who continued digging more dirt with Roxana's name, finally telling Lucia that he was telling her these things “to protect you.” [I hope none of my readers have just finished eating. – Author]

Gertrudis visited Pedro in hospital and told him he was to take his things and never return. The necklace was causing gossip, He claimed that it had belonged to his mother and he was getting it back but she didn't buy this. She assured him that she will not be made fun of. He got out of bed and apologized, saying he would do anything for her. She told him to make sure that Isaura never come near her again.

Our of nerves Lucia drops something; Toña said it was the third one. Lucia was about to explain when Fernando arrived. She asked him why he didn't tell her about Roxana and her money over the phone. He told her he was going to tell her now but she wasn't satisfied. She said that Roxana wants him eating out of her hand and why does he still give her any chance at that. She knew that Roxana was trying to create conflict between them. Fernando told her that he didn't tell her over the phone because his mother was there and he didn't want her to hear this. He then took a call from Diego and was out the door a minute later.

Rafael celebrated that his plan is going as he wished. When Roxana said things were going as planned with Fernando she came on to Rafael, who decided to have sex with her while thinking of Lucia. Roxana pushed him away and told him that if he wants Lucía so badly, he should stay with her.

Alejandra reminded Pilar of her motto “Never shed a tear for a man” and said that she should be happy to be rid of Gabino. [Rolling my eyes here. – Author] Before Pilar could say anthing Leonardo called, saying it was urgent. She was to meet him at the ministerio. She agreed and ended the call, telling Alejandra she had an appointment. On her way out Casilda stopped her, wanting to know if this was about her mother. Pilar whispered “Santa Cruz” before running out.

Casilda tried going up to her room but Alejandra stopped her. Just as she was starting to deliver a few more verbal barbs Lucia entered and Alejandra put on a better face for her benefit. Lucia said she was just going up to her room to get a few things.

Carlos went to the office and tried to behave as though the last 24 hours hadn't happened. Paulina wasn't having it and said so, especially when he told her that Roxana had paid his bail. When Fernando walked in Carlos said out loud “She's in love with you” and walked out, leaving Paulina embarrassed. Rafael arrived and noticed that something wasn't right. Paulina excused herself and left.

Gabino met Pilar in a restaurant and apologized about his son. He told her that the only ones to decide their happiness is themselves. He finally said that she should not trust Alejandra because of what she had done to Casilda. She had stolen all of Casilda's fortune and would be a pauper without it. Pilar got upset, saying “No, no!” He said that sooner or later – more likely sooner – Casilda would find out. He stood up and told her he had only one wish: to be happy with her. That was all, but if she chose to live in misery there was nothing he could do. He left the table.

Diego went to the office and closed the door to the conference room. Rafael was already there. Diego said “I have what you asked for.” “Good,” was the reply. Fernando entered the office and Diego said there would be a meeting the following night at 8PM with the client in Monerrey. Fernando intended to go there to save the contract. Of course, Rafael had to rub his nose in his debt to Roxana. When Fernando asked Diego to leave them alone Rafael doubled down about Fernando's past relations with Roxana. This turned into accusations, including Rafael accusing Fernando of still boinking Roxana, which Fernando rightfully denied. Diego got up, saying he had made all the appropriate hotel and transportation arrangements. Fernando stormed out of the conference room, leaving Diego and Rafael looking like they knew something he didn't.

Fernando went to the talavera to invite Lucía to accompany him to Monterrey.

Rafael met with Heriberto about bringing Alejandra down. He wanted to be mayor of San Jacinto. Rafael gave him the “all in good time” line, then called for drinks. Heriberto asked about Roxana and Rafael said she was at the spa for the usual reasons. Heriberto commented on Roxana's beauty and Rafael said that even that gets boring after a while. Heriberto said that he could never say that about the woman he desired, whom he did not identify. The maid brought their drinks and they toasted the women who inspired them.

Lucia's client arrived about the shipment. Lucia got him to pay her right away because she had to pay the transport company.

Diego enters the brothel to take Claudia, who was with a client. Diego chased the guy out but Leonard came in to stop them. Diego said he would pay him everything. They walked out to the surprise of Silvia.

Casilda thought of Leo's cruel words then got into her dominatrix mode and took selfies for the site. Leo tried video-calling her.

Isaura found Casilda's mother's will in Alejandra's room behind a secret panel Casilda's mother's name is Sandra Quiroso.

Lucía arrives at the hotel just as Fernando was leaving a message for her. He was holding a ring box. He ended the message just as Roxana arrived at his room. She grabbed him and pulled him into a kiss he was resisting. Lucia saw this.

Aww, poor Melody! She came in just after Gladys told Mario about Tyler's theory that she is not actually Mario's daughter. He is upset that now they will have to change their story a bit. Melody just heard Mario say that she is not his daughter and she teared up. Yep, they are definitely piling on the heartache these days. And Melody has run away again!

Elsewhere, the joys of online dating! Adonis24 (Luis) and Naomi (Rocío) are in hot flirtation mode online in Bonifacio's cafe, blissfully unaware that they are texting each other across the room. And each lying shamelessly about how sexy they are.

Marcia went to tell Andrea that Katya is hurting because Diego won't respond to her flirtations. Andrea tells her that Diego is not interested in women. Why did she do that?

Oh, Tyler, you are such a busybody! He breaks the news to Mario that Melody is not his, that Sofía deceived him. But it appears that Mario already "knew". Poor Mario is in an uncomfortable spot.
Is it possible that Tyler really is such a goofball?
He assures Mario that he is there to help him through this. It seems to me that he says that a lot. He also tells Mario that he hates lies and could never pardon a lie or a deceit. Sounds a bit like what he told Erika when he thought she had lied to him.
Just how trustworthy is our Tyler himself, really?

In any event, Andrea is not running her scam operation quite up to "Mission Impossible" standards. More like a ship that has sprung a thousand leaks and has only one pail to bail with.
But it's more fun this way   :-)

Marcia and Diego are buddies now, and she gets him to admit to her that he and canijo Sebastián were a couple. Diego, even if you are gay, you would be better off with Katya rather than that stuffed shirt Sebastián.

Just what Andrea needed, another complication. René arrived with a chintzy looking bouquet for her, and announced that he was in love with her and intended to win her. Tyler looked uncomfortable.

Ah, poor Melody has walked home and now won't speak, and Sofía wants to cut Mario's heart out with a dull, rusty knife. Hoo, boy!

"[I hope none of my readers have just finished eating. – Author]" Lol I am the unlucky one who have just finished eating. Thankfully I didn't vomit.

Aw man, I really wanted Ale to be Casi's mom. So Ale stole Casi's fortune... Interesting. My guess is that (Ale) will not die in the Gran Final, but be poor like she was before she basically robbed Casi's mom... But that's just my guess.

Raf and Rox are both awful. They deserve each other.

Indeed they do. If this has any sort of just ending I predict they will kill each other.

So Casilda is due a major inheritance. I hope Pilar can screw her courage to the sticking place and help make that happen. Also, get that girl a shrink. After all of Alejandra's abuse she needs this.

Marta also. Dealing with Carlos' problem is enough punishment for her attitude toward Lucia, who had no clue that Alfredo had put a camera in the gift and all the photos of her in lingerie ended up on the internet.

He needs to pay, too.

Urban, thank you for your excellent recap of all the lying and scheming. The beautiful Lucia and Fernando are surrounded by people who desire them or people who are betraying and lying to them . UFF

So ..who had Pedro beaten ? Also, I still cant figure out what he is doing with horrid Gert . Is she paying him ? Heri and Gert deserve each other. I almost changed the channel when I saw Heri in shorts ..no...just...no.

Heri, the brute, and Rafe , the smooth operator\ seducer ,do not realize that they both desire the fair, innocent Lucia.

And now we discover through Gabino , who seems to know a lot about Ale, that she stole Casilde's mother's money . I guess Pilar and Having know all about Ale's past evils.

I am hoping that Pilar and Gabino can he!p Casilde and Lucia .

Meanwhile, nosy, arrogant Isaura keeps poking around uncovering more of Ale's secrets always wearing her signature hair clip and cross body purse.

Lucia is dropping a lot if her pottery inventory . Maybe she should be working with more durable goods....metals , fabric, wood ???

Uh oh , Roxy pounces on Fernando and Lucia sees them. Round 2 of Roxy and Rafe's plan to pull Lucia and Fernando apart so that they can have the objects of their desires. Ugh
 

Mexicana. Great summary of yesterday's episode, Andy! And thanks for the info on Tuesday's party. I'm kind of glad that Marcia knows Diego is gay. She's so kind and accepting and comforts him about his break with Sebastian. I too think that was terrible about Melody overhearing that Mario "might" not be her biological father. I hope that is resolved very quickly. And I can totally predict what will happen after Paulina overheard part of Sebastian's phone call to the urologist about his cousin Nacho's premature ejaculation problem--she of course think it's Sebastian who has the problem.

I guess we have to endure sights like that in exchange for the hunky guys who need to take their shirts off on a regular basis.

BTW, I had only seen Marcus Ornellas once before so I googled to find out if he really had blue eyes and
..he doesn't. He's wearing contacts.

 

My favorite scenes are Roxy and Rafe. They are so deliciously evil in their expensive outfits sipping cocktails as they taunt and threaten each other ....lifestyles of the rich and unscrupulous . They are excellent vilains.

Mexicana. Tyler is getting downright annoying with al his intrusions into his "siblings'" lives. And Diego seems genuinely attracted to Katya--or is it just more sympathy? Could he be bisexual? Now Sofia knows what is upsetting Melody; I hope she puts Melody's mind at rest quickly. And I (and probably everyone else) was right about how Paulina interpreted Sebastian's call to the urologist.

I was asleep at the wheel and paid it little attention. But no great harm done   :-)

Bonifacio is in the dog house, or at least on the couch, because Isis overheard him on the phone but didn't know he was pretending to be Luis' new pretend love interest, "Dalila", even calling Luis "cosita" which seems to be Boni's pet name for Isis.

More justifiably upset is Helena. All that time and effort into primping and reading the Kama Sutra, and that cad Gonzalo is not at all interested. Watch out, Gonzalo, that she doesn't take her newfound knowledge elsewhere   :-)

"And Diego seems genuinely attracted to Katya..." He does, all of a sudden. I don't know what to make of this. I suspect it's not sympathy, Katya and Viiyéri had attracted two other young men, and seemed to like the attention. Jealousy?
If Diego is actually bisexual he should have realized it quite some time ago. Time will tell.

René didn't cheap out on his date with Andrea, even if it hurt, so he's doing his part to win fair Andrea. Meh.

Interesting that the monster in Melody's nightmare was Ignacio. Mario is going to catch hell after Sofía hears Melody's full story. Incidentally, I was surprised that Mario is still sleeping on the floor. Some of the "couples" have adjusted to sleeping together platonically. Probably not a good idea for Mario, though.

Weirdo, thanks for the rundown of the main points from last night . Wow, so many things happening. I saw a promo about last weeks , so I wonder how many episodes we have left .

Yikes ..Roxana at the hotel makes it look like Fernando was hitting her ! Meanwhile, Rafe smarms on his oily charm to appeal to Lucia for sympathy because his wife is cheating with her novio....and innocent (dim?) Lucia falls for it.

The scene of beaten up Carlos kissing Roxy's hand as she eats her olive and holds her martini glass was funny. Also , I loved breakfast at Roxy and Rafe's .They are dressed to the nines while Roxy picks at her fruit and Rafe digs into his breakfast as he taunts her about Lucia . Loved Roxy getting up and deciding that instead of eating her fruit, she would rather throw it in Rafe's face . He seemed to be used to this reaction. Ha

Then , Isaura is all cheery and dressed up with Gabino. She lost her big hair clip but still had her ever present crossbody bag .I guess Gabino is trying to make poor Pilar jealous . Isy is always there for the party ...the drinks, the food, the gossip. I am hoping the nosy moocher gets some kind of anvil.

I was surprised to see Lucia stand up to Horrible Heri when she walked in on him threatening horrible Gert. Later , Gert appeared to be upset while watching a video on her phone ...was it of Heri attacking Lucia?

Pauline has confessed she loves Fernando . Just what he needs while trying to deal with crazy Roxy. I'm

I have had enough of Michelle jumping on Alfredo while her mom watches. Why is Alfredo still kissing up to Michelle and her mom ?

I am expecting a lot of anvils to start falling .

Susanlynn, we have another 19 episodes left. Kind of awkward, I've never watched a telenovela with that few episodes (45). At lease I hope the Gran Final will be nice.

At first I was rooting for Pilar and Gabino, which is strange for me, because I almost always scream at
the couples on TV "BRAKE UP ALREADY", lol. But I was rooting for them mostly because I ran out of people to root for, you know? But Gab is being awful to Pilar for something that it is HIS SON'S fault. Ugh.

Lucía should stop playing the hero all the time. I'm obviously not defending Heriberto, but her selflessness and her inability to understand things is a bit annoying.

My favourite character is starting to become Claudia.

Weirdo , I still like Fernando with his puppy dog eyes as he is hit right and left with problems and surrounded by people who want to separate him from Lucia, including his loving mom, criminal brother, and delusional sister. I have kind of had it with Lucia who most!y weeps, drops her pottery inventory , and stares like a deer caught in the headlights . The innocent , oblivious vibe is getting old . Now she serms to have decided to kick and yell and take names. I hope she fibds out exactly what Isaura did with the house.

I am fascinated with Rafe who is sly and patient like a lion stalking an antelope . He thinks slow and steady will win this race , so he is much more dangerous than that incredibly stupid , unsmiling hulk Heri.

Of course, Rafael is not complying with Alejandra's demand to leave Lucia alone, so it is entirely possible now that Alejandra will kill him in episode 44.

Roxana is one sick bitch. In what universe would Fernando ever want her after this?

So, Diego doesn't have ED after all, but he is a traitor and so is Carlos.

As for the slimy Alfredo, he is still trying to figure out how to escape this engagement. That means until he thinks of something -- anything -- he needs to continue to kiss up to Marta and pretend to love Michelle.

And yews, that video was of Heriberto trying to rape Lucia.

"Roxana is a sick bitch. In what universe would Fernando ever want her after this?" Yes, Roxana is sick and she's getting worse by the second. I think she understood that she'll never have him and went "either I have him or nobody else" mode. She just wanted to brake him up with Lucía, because she knows SHE will never have him.

I wonder what Alfredo's ending will be... Definitely not a happy one.

Oh and before I forget again... Casi should go to therapy.
 

I am anxious to see how Isaura's "date" with Gabino turns out . She was happy as a clan as she grabbed a bottle and sent off with Having leaving Pilar shocked and angry. Isaura just keeps playing everybody fur anything she can get . Whenever she says or dies something to push Ale's buttons , the look on Ale's face is priceless. ..stone cold . if looks could kill.....

The actress playing Casi is doing a good job. It's awful watching Ale torment her and Isaura spying on her and intimidating her . I am hoping for huge anvils for both Ale and Isaura.

Weirdo: I wasn't shocked about it regarding the revelation about Alejandra stealing Casilda's fortune.

Safe to say both Casilda & Lucia both need Dr. Phil ASAP!

Big question is who'll be getting those Karma anvils by the time this short Telenovela ends next month ?

Urban, yikes! That is quite a list of evil doers . I wonder if the writers have enough inventory of anvils to dole them out . Who should get the biggest anvils ?
 

I am leaning toward Alejandra, Heriberto, Alfredo, and Roxana. However I have not finished compiling the rap sheets so this may change. I am hoping to have that in the primetime weekend edition.

I am wondering if we had this many evildoers in AQNMD. Will have to check that.
