I didn't take any notes this time, but that was a very exciting episode!

A party was organized at Selcuk's restaurant to celebrate Bahar and Mehli's expected baby. Sort of a baby shower with booze. We are told that Asya isn't going to attend due to Mehli's side of the family being there. Derin rolls in, with Zeynep plastered to her body in the wheelchair.

Haluk is kind to Selcuk, telling him he's proud of him. If I've ever seen a character redeemed and changed in a novela or dizi, Selcuk is the poster boy.

Gonul graciously (not) permits Haluk to sit beside her at the table. Veteranos of novelas know that we wish for large anvils to drop from the sky on some characters' heads. If anyone ever deserved an anvil it's Gonul.

Asya came to Aras' guest house to tell him, more or less, that she was willing to take a chance on him. He promised to never, ever lie to her. They kiss.

The fireworks began because Asya apparently decided it was time to make her relationship public. She came to the baby celebration hand in hand with Aras. She didn't sit, gave Bahar some flowers and congratulated the happy parents to be.

Volkan can't control himself. He mutters some expletive and moves toward Aras. To avoid a public display of how jealous her husband is, BSC Derin jumps to her feet yelling "surprise, surprise". This distracts everyone from A+A.

Volkan is already in a large snit. This puts him over the top and he goes to Derin and tells her that everyone knows she's been able to walk for quite a while. We see a flashback of Bahar telling him. Of course, being Volkan, that wasn't enough. He just rips her apart, saying he's getting a divorce. He leaves, but Derin gets the car keys to the wheelchair accessible big black car and follows.

It looks like he's gone to his old house and is packing his clothes. Derin appears and he's really, really cruel. Am I sorry for Derin? Nope. He tells her he wishes he'd walked on by when he saw her for the first time and more in that vein.

Outside the house, confronted by Haluk and Gonul, he runs through some of Derin's sins. Setting things up so it looked like he killed her. Then faking her own abduction. And pretending to be an invalid for months.

Later he shows up to poison Ali's mind, telling his son that Aras beat him up without any provocation on his part.

This results in Ali confronting Aras early in the morning and telling him to stay away from his mother.

The shady guy keeping an eye on Aras slips up when they are ordering lunch. IIRC Aras was about to order something from the menu that he was either allergic to or really disliked. Aras notices this and the guy stumbles through some explanation.

At the very end Asya, in talking with Ali, has figured out what Volkan said to him. She calls Volkan and tells him to come over; she has something to speak with him about. We'll have to wait for that conversation. I HOPE they aren't going with Ali hating Aras for weeks on end!

Novelera , thank you for the recap . Well, Asya got together with the new guy speedy quick. I hope he is a good guy . We have enough bad guys.

Volcano continues to spin out of control. Does he even realize that he started this whole mess ?

Thanks for the great recap. Susanlynn, No Volkan is always the victim. Does Ali not realize Volkan the psycho has punched every man who has shown any interest in Aysa?

Volkan is too chunky to wear his skinny jeans.

Asya should know better than try to reason with Volkan. He won’t accept that he did anything wrong in telling Ali lies about Aras. She tries to get him to see how ridiculous his behavior is. He had a two-year affair, married the woman, and he’s outraged about her seeing someone.

Why is Derin so scared about Leyla after she tried to contact her? I guess it could be because, if Leyla comes and claims Aras, Asya might go back with Volkan (as if, but Derin can’t be sure).

Volkan takes Ali to dinner without checking with Asya, who comes home from work to find her son gone. Since he’s out, she accepts a dinner invitation from Aras. She gets really glamorous for this evening out.

Volkan is staying in the hotel where Aras has brought Asya for dinner. Of course he is.

Mystery woman Leyla arrives on a plane in Istanbul and asks to be taken to Tekirdag.

Ali freaks out because his mother isn’t home. Looks like we’re going to get another dose of “bad Ali” like when he was on his father’s side after he returned to Tekirdag. He panic calls his mother, who tells him the truth; she’s having dinner with Aras.

A song that is playing in the restaurant reminds Aras of dancing with Leyla.

Volkan is at the elevator waiting to go up when A+A come down. He makes a big scene.

Ali has gone to some bar with Demir and the two of them get into a fight.

Aras remembers marrying Leyla and he looks happy in the remembered scene.

Aras has remembered everything. He’s called Kadir to come to the guest cottage. He’s yelling at Kadir, who admits what he did. Gentle, fuzzy, confused Aras has left the building. This guy has presence. He asks if it had been Mohamed or Leyla who was having him watched. Kadir says that Leyla didn’t know. “You were my friend. I saved you from the streets and gave you a job.”

Kadir says that he only wanted to help him until he got his memory back. Aras: “The company is mine. I can press charges against you. If you tell anyone that I remember everything, I’ll see to it that you go back to the streets.”

Kadir obeys. When Mehmet calls, he doesn’t tell him where Aras is and says that Aras still doesn’t remember. I am a bit confused about who Mohamed and Mehmet are. Both are first names. Mohamed is the one Aras thought of, so he’s probably a principal in the business affairs. But we’ll discover more, I’m sure.

Volkan, Asya, Gonul and Haluk have come to rescue their babies, who both have blood on their faces. Ali is quite rude to his mother, and Volkan reprimands him. I’m not looking forward to weeks of Bad Ali. Hope it doesn’t last long.

Novelera, thank you for the recap . The introduction of mystery man Aras has made this show more interesting , but I am confused about who he is and what he remembers. So...He remembers being married to Leyla . Was he a businessman , and are M and M his partners ? Is Kadir the guy who has been following him?

The actress that plays Aysa is a beautiful woman, but is acting as if she’s sedated all the time. There are no expressions of happiness or sadness on her face. Not a good actress. The rest of the cast is superb!

Susanlynn, my impression is that by some TN/diz magic, hearing that song in the restaurant caused him to remember everything. He knows exactly who he is and all about his life before the accident. The writers will slowly introduce the back story. I think Leyla will be revealed to have done something awful, thus freeing up A+A for a HEA.

Aras said he was a businessman, in fact the owner of some company. And, yes, Kadir has been following him. But he's more of a flunky than a major person in the business. One of the scenes Aras remembered showed a dinner table at a restaurant. Kadir was not seated at the table, just delivered some sort of message, was told what to do about it, and then left to do...someone's... bidding. My memory won't extend to who gave the order to him.

Novelera, thank you for making things clearer .

Thank you very much, novelera, for continuing to provide recaps for us.

We are in Turkish episode 38 out of 60. I watched both the Telemundo and Turkish eps. In the Turkish, there is no mention of “Mohamed”, the name is always Mehmet. Mehmet is a Turkish version of the Arabic name Muhammad/Mohammed.

Dondi, hello. I am always impressed by the information you provide about the Turkish dizis. I am looking for a new one with some of the actors and actresses I like.
