CAMINO Ep 51 Part 1

After Karen asks if NeFausto is saying that he would be capable of killing Daniela, NeFausto tells her to interpret it however she wants. I should be clear to her that no one and nothing will keep him from getting his fortune, and that include her! When Karen asks if he is threatening her, he tells her to stop trying to destroy his marriage. Karen retorts that she doesn't have to do anything, he's doing it all himself. Nefasto comments that she thinks she is always one step ahead of him, but she is very mistaken. With that, Karen tells him good-bye; so Nefausto tells her to give his regards to Aaron...and by the way, did she like the ring he gave Aaron to give to her? Karen is clearly shaken so Nefausto adds that Aaron may become her husband, but he is the one who holds the leash on his pet.

Nefausto returns to the house and Dani tries to talk about Gaby but Nefausto refuses to talk to her about company business. Dani then wants to talk to him about their daughter and reminds him that they have the appointment with the psychologist, but Nefausto once again makes excuses...he has too much work at the company. Dani tells him that she is not dumb and knows that he is just making excuses not to go, and she warns him that he cannot avoid that they will tell Isa that Memo is her bio father.

Memo thanks Ursula for her (sorry excuse of an) apology. Ursula knows she was wrong...and just doesn't want them to be fighting all the time. Memo doesn't want that either, but she needs to control her fits of jealousy. Ursula swears that she will control herself.

NeFausto continues to insist that he has much to do. He wishes he had more time for her and their daughter, but he is a provider. Dani reminds him that she works too...and asks if he is even remotely interested in his daughter. Nefausto assures her that, after her, Isa is what most matters to him in his life. She tells him to show it!

Lupita thanks Gaby for talking to her father. She already apologized to her mother and when she sees Sebas, she 'll fix things with him. Gaby then tells her that she was fired...and she is glad...what interests her more than that is that Lupita be happy.

Memo is telling Humberto and Amparo about how Isa was so happy when he told her he would help her find her father. Amparo is thinks Isa will be very surprised and Humberto thinks she will be very happy that he is his father. Ursula then comments that Dani had the opportunity to tell Isa that Memo is her father, but she didn't do anything. Memo reminds her that they need to consult with psychologist.

Leo and Chuchita are out together looking at the sites. Leo has been thinking about the night they were together...and he wrote the song...and he sings it to her.

Gaby tells Amparo that she is thinking of going back to school. Amparo thinks that NeFauso's firing her was illegal, but Gaby clarifies that she ended up quitting on her own, but not before telling Nefausto off. JP then assures Gaby that he supports her.

After Leo finishes his song, some girls recognize him from the video and get all excited. after they tell him that they heard him on the web, Chuchita recalls that she sent the video to Gaby. Shei s excited that the whole world is hearing his song...and he will be famous. But he best part is that he is all hers. Later, Chuchita and Leo are ON the bed. Leo stops suddenly and tells her that he loves her with all his heart.

Karen asks Eugenio about his dinner with Amparo. After he tells her that he enjoyed it very much, she asks if he is interested in Amparo as more than a friend. Eugenio admits that he is, but that is as far as it goes because Amparo is married...and that to him, is sacred.

 

CAMINO Ep 51 Part 2

Mac and Yo have apparently done the deed (and thank goodness we were spared!). Mac doesn't understand how his brujer won't get back with him. Yo advises that he act indifferent...as if he doesn't acre that she goes out with that rich guy. Mac fears that it will backfire on him, but Yo insists that he listen to her.

Lupita apologizes to Sebas. She still doesn't like the fact that his father and her mother are seeing each other, but she understands that she shouldn't mix the two issues. She agrees that they be novios again and they seal it with kisses.

NeFausto goes into Dani's bedroom to tell her that he will go to the meeting with the psychologist...she wins. Dani replies that it is not she who wins, it is their daughter.

Leo is asking Gaby why she uploaded her video. Gaby tells him not to fret, his video went viral. Chuchita shares about the girls who recognized him during their outing. They then discuss setting up an online channel for Leo and he thinks it's a good idea since he can announce where people can come see him sing...and people can come to the restaurant, not just for Amparo's food, but to hear him sing.

Eugenio has called in NeFausto to ell him there will be a board meeting. He also tells him that he did not like how he fired Gaby. Eugenio asks what is going on with him; he has been in a bad mood for several days. When Eugenio suggests that he take a few days off and maybe take his family on a vacation, NeFausto thinks it's not a bad idea.

At the restaurant, Chema is ready to go to school. Amparo has a surprise for him, a mask. Gaby comments that Amparo does so much...all despite going through the separation from her father. Leo then enters sporting an alleged disguise so he won't be recognized by his fans. Amparo then tells Gaby that she needs to help at the restaurant.

Isa is telling Sofi about Memo helping her find her bio father when they find a kitten. Isa thinks the kitten must have gotten lost and misses its parents, so they go search for the mommy cat.

Grace shows up t the restaurant to work. She sees Gaby ad wonders if she is taking her place, so Amparo assures her that Gaby is only helping because she left her job. Grace then goes to talk to Gaby who asks how she is. When Grace tells her that her back still hurts, Gaby assures her that she will help her. Amparo is then surprised when Mac shows up and tell s her that if she wants to start her life with Eugenio, he won't bother her anymore.

Isa prays to her mother up in the stars to help her find the kitten's mother...and to help her find her real father.

NeFausto arrives early t the meeting with the psych...only to diss Memo and try to get her to recommend that they not tell Isa that Memo is her father. He goes so far as to tell her that Memo seduced Dani...and kissed her.

Amparo assures that he is not going to get between her and Eugenio...she deserves better that him. Amparo assures him that there is nothing between her and Eugenio, but Mac tells her that when a person loves another, he sets her free...he just wants her to be happy even if it's not with him. Grace smirks as she eavesdrops.

NeFausto continues to speak badly about Memo. When Ana Maria, the psych, tells him that Dani has only told her good things about Memo, NeFausto assures her that Memo is only manipulated Dani. He then tells her that he has been investigating Memo and has been shocked with what he has found out; he asks that she help him protect his family from that monster! Dani then enters and is surprised to see NeFausto already there; she asks if everything is alright.

 

CAMINO Ep 51 Part 3

When NeFausto tries to kiss Dani, Dani pulls back...and Ana Maria takes note. One the meeting starts, Ana Maria tell them that before making any recommendations she wants to meet with Memo. NeFausto is not happy, but Dani tells her that Memo is very willing to meet with her.

Isa and Sofi find the kitten's mother and Isa is hopeful that her mother up in the stars will help her find her father.

Gaby asks Amparo if she really only sees Eugenio as a friend...or does she like him.

Ursula asks Mac what he is up to. He tells her that he has a new strategy...he is going to act like an angel; he will let Amparo do whatever she wants. Ursula thinks she should do the same since her fits of jealousy are not working. When Mac asks about their pregnancy, Ursula is surprised that he is interested. Mac tells her that he cares that she is well and that the baby is born healthy. He comments that she is lucky Cesar died because he knows that she was going to give the baby to him. After Ursula tells him that she lied to Cesar and only agreed to it so that she could marry Memo, Cesar appears and tells Ursula that the baby is his. After Ursula gives out an ear-busting shriek, Mac thinks she is acting more like her crazy mother.

Dani and NeFausto get home. Dani is appreciative that NeFausto went to the meeting, but Nefausto only went for her, not because he agrees with the recommendations. When Dani tells him that she is going to call Memo to tell him that Ana Maria wants to meet with him, NeFausto tells her not to...he does not want Isa to know that Memo is her father!

Memo is recalling how excited Isa was that he would help her find her father. Ursula is still upset about seeing Cesar but she manages to put on a smile and tells Memo that he will soon have Isa in front of him so that he can tell her that he is her father....and when their baby is born, they we always be together.

Dani asks why NeFausto has changed his mind. NeFausto suggests that they should think about it...for at least 24 hours. When he adds that he still has many questions for Ana Maria, Dani suggests that he go ahead and meet with Ana Maria again...and Memo can also meet her. NeFausto worries that Memo will

Mac contacts the people that Cesar was going to give the baby to. He tells them that he is going to continue with the plan...no one will suspect him since he is the baby's uncle...and he needs another advance.

NeFausto goes to pick up Isa who is excited to see him. She gives him a flower that she made...and she has another one for Memo...he is also going to help her find her bio father and she is very happy!

Ursula shows Memo some clothes she bought for the baby. Memo likes the clothes and it is moments like these that make him feel very fortunate. He has a precious daughter who will soon be calling him 'father" for the first time; and he will have the baby with her who will make him very happy. Ursula points out that he forgot to say that he ha her who loves him very much. Memo then gets the call from Dani who tells him that the psychologist wants to talk to him. Memo is very excited as he tells Ursula (who is having a hard time looking just as excited) that the psychologist wants to meet with him probably to make sure that he will do anything to make his daughter happy. He asks for a hug since the day that Isa will know he is her father is getting closer!

Rgv Chick, your summary was beautifully woven like the finest fabric, as soft and luxurious as silk.

I had dialogue questions which your all-encompassing, savvy rendition answered to perfection.

Nefausto wisely kept his answer to Karen’s query non-committal. His failure to divulge his intentions also circumvented a response or reaction from Karen. Drat. Yet Nefausto always has an extra arrow in his quiver and the revelation that he picked out Karen’s ring hit the bullseye. “Nefausto adds that Aaron may become her husband, but he is the one who holds the leash on his pet” was salt on her gaping wound.

“Memo thanks Ursula for her (sorry excuse of an) apology” was exactly right! Also, Viewerville has already made the connection as to what Ursu’s “crazy mother” likely means and we were reminded again tonight.

While Cesar’s specter always startles me a bit, hearing Macario tell whoever was on the phone that “no one will suspect him since he is the baby’s uncle” was truly terrifying.

“Mac and Yo have apparently done the deed (and thank goodness we were spared!)” had me smiling in agreement! I’m only sorry we had to see his leopard boxer shorts and matching robe. 😊

When will it dawn on Daniela that Nefausto is stalling and has no intention of Isabela ever being told Memo is her father? I must admit that as he told Karen, it does appear he is always one step ahead.

“Chuchita and Leo are ON the bed” was sweet as were Leo’s words of love. But I had to laugh at Leo in disguise after experiencing but five minutes of fame. Too funny.

Eugenio’s “scolding” of Nefausto was mild and vastly disappointing

I have no love for Grace but when Macario entered the restaurant and slapped hands with Gaby with only a disgusted look in her direction, that must have hurt. Too bad Yolanda dispensed such sage advice to Macario about letting Amparo “go”. You can see it bothers Amparo that he appears to be doing just that.

Drat, no boardroom revelations! I can’t wait to see what Karen will do when Aaron fesses up to giving Nefausto the shares!

JULIA + ANGEL + MISAEL

JULIA FINDS OUT THAT TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE

-Julia begs Misael not to do anything to Angel. Misael actually tries to get handsy with her and she has to tell hm to stop. He only wants them to go back like they were before.
-Danny isn't happy that his father has to sleep on the couch. Julia explains to him why(really?) and that sometimes he won't get what he wants. Misael says that is how it is when they are not getting long and asks his son if they are men or clowns. No more discussion.
-Angel tells his father that Misael convinced Danny that he was responsible for breaking up his family. He still loves Julia but he got a strange message saying she wanted to get back with Misael and then blocked him.
-Rayo overhears and texts Julia to let her know what is going on. Julia realizes that Misael must have blocked Angel. She texts him and they agree to meet the next day at a café.
-Julia tells Angel that Misael must have blocked her phone. They agree that Rayo was an angel to tell her what was going on. Julia fills in Angel on what Misael tried to do and how she was not successful trying to file a complaint against him. Angel wants her to go back and try again so there is a paper trail if nothing else. She says she will think about it. She warns him to not confront Misael because she doesn't know what he is capable of. Angel says not to concern herself because anything between him and Misael is his business. He won't be happy until he has beaten that imbecile into the ground. Julia gets upset because Angel is showing her that all men are alike and only know how to solve things by fighting. Angel apologizes. He tries to explain that if something happened to her, he would be as good as dead. She asks him to not make the situation worse than it is. He says he will do is best to control himself but if Misael tries anything, he will beat him up. Julia leaves alone by choice.
-Angel arrives at work. Ester did exactly as he asked. Misael is waiting in his office. Angel tells her not to interrupt them. Angel goes into his office, locks the door and closes the blinds on the window of the office as Misael sits smirking. Angel tells Misael he isn't much of a man. Misael says at least he isn't messing around with married broads. They insult each other back and forth. Angel says he better not try forcing himself on Julia again. Misael says Julia loved it. She is very flirtatious and passionate. Misael says they BOTH know that. Angel warns him not to talk like that about Julia. Misael says he will talk about her any way he likes because she belongs to him and he will exercise his rights over her as a husband when and as many times as he feels like it. Angel punches him in the mouth and the fight is on.

-Ester hears the noise and runs to the door asking if Angel is okay. Braulio sends her to his office for the spare key. They and AnaS go in and break up the two men. Misael says that Angel can say what he wants but he took advantage of his absence to get his wife into his bed. He had to defend his wife's honor.
-Ester calls Julia and tells her to come to the company. AnaS blames Julia for the fight when she arrives. Julia says she never asked either of them to take her part. She explicitly asked Angel not to get into it with Misael. Julia is sick of men who think they can resolve anything with a fight. Ana S. finds it very strange that Julia is more concerned with Angel than her own husband.
-Braulio talks to Misael. He should have known better than to start something like that at the office. Braulio is concerned that AnaS will have to fire him. Braulio warns him not to betray him by paying both sides. Misael'a loyalty has to be to him and nobody else. Does he get that??? Misael leaves without answering.
-Angel apologizes to Julia. They agree to talk later.
-Ester complains to Julia that she never told her about her secret relationship with Angel. Julia needs to talk to Misael.
-In the meantime, Misael shows up at Danny's school. He urgently needs to talk to his son. He says he isn't taking him anywhere.
He talks to Danny man to man. He tells Danny that the bad news is that his mother doesn't love him anymore. She loves Angel and wants to have a family with him. Danny doesn't want that. Misael says that he will be going far away because he and his mother will be getting a divorce. That being said, before he leaves he wants to propose something to Danny.
-Julia calls Chepina to tell her what happened. She has a bad feeling about what Misael might do. She decides to go to Danny's school early. Misael might have gone there.
-AnaS refuses to discuss Misael with Angel. It is not the time. Angel makes it clear that Misael is going to be fired. Ana S says the real cause of all of his problems is Julia.
-Ester brings Angel some water and an analgesic. Ester doesn't understand why he ever allowed Misael to work at Funes again. Angel says he wants to keep Misael close because he thinks that he and AnaS are hiding something. She says she never believed Misael's version of the accident. Angel agrees that he never believed it either. They are on the same team. They can work together with Braulio. That rubs Ester the wrong way. She makes it clear that she does not trust Braulio. Angel wants to know why.
-Julia arrives at the school. She gets a text from Misael that he will give her the divorce she wants and go away but everyday for the rest of her life she will suffer as she pays for what she did to him. Julia texts back that she wants to talk. She gets a message from Danny telling her goodbye forever.
-As the children leave school, Julia asks the teacher where Danny is. She says his father came by for him saying there was an emergency.
-Misael is across the street in his car with Danny. He waves at Julia and pulls away. Julia is left crying the street.

RAYO TO THE RESCUE

-It is breakfast time. Teo leaves for school. Jero opens up the truck. Flavia goes to pick up the night permit.
-Teo comes back home and texts Mati to let her know that his mother is gone. She tells him to leave the door open , get naked and wait of her in his mother's room.
-Chilo and Mati agree to split whatever they steal.
-Leonel and the other minion run into Mati and ask her why Leonel never got the money he was supposed to get from her when he was in jail. She blows them off. She is in the big leagues now making real money.
-Rayo shows the video that Gina posted about Mati to her father. She is feeling bad because now Mati is basically being bullied online like Mirna bullies her and that is not good. She never should have talked to Gina.
-Teo is waiting in a robe in his mother's bedroom when Mati arrives. She tells him to take his robe off and ties his arms to the headboard as well as tying his mouth shut. She takes some photos. She has a surprise for Teo. She tells him to count to 50 slowly and she will be back.
-Rayo sends Mati a text saying they need to talk. Something terrible is happening online. Mati says she will tell her what is going on online and sends her a photo of Teo tied to the bed.
-Leonel and the other minion saw Mati go into Teo's place and wonder what Chilo is hanging around for. They think Rayo should know.
-Mati comes out and gets Chilo.
-The minion texts Rayo that Mati and Chilo are at Teo's. Flavia is not at home.
-Rayo concludes that Teo is in danger and calls Celeste.
-Chilo is busy cleaning out anything of value from the house. He unceremoniously sweeps Flavia's treasured porcelain bells into his sack.
-Mati has fun trashing the kitchen and finally finds CASH!!! She is ready to leave. Chilo wants to look around one last time.
-Flavia calls Jero to tell him that she picked up the permit.
-Celeste calls Flavia to tell her about the robbery.
-Flavia calls Jero. There are thieves in her house!!
-Jero joins her at the complex and has to stop her from running into her apartment screaming about her little bells. He tells her it is better to wait until the police arrive. Flavia insists on going in the building and locks the apartment door so the thieves cannot get out. She screams that the police are on their way. Jero tells her to be careful that she doesn't stress out the thieves. They could do something crazy.
-Chilo is getting edgy and picks up a kitchen knife and heads upstairs. Much to Mati's surprise this is no longer fun and games. Chilo plans on using Teo as a human shield. He marches Teo downstairs with a knife to his throat.
-Rayo arrives at the scene and sends Leonel and company to keep an eye out for the police.
-Rayo tells Flavia and Jero that Teo is inside and that Chilo is a dangerous guy.
-Flavia unlocks the door and rushes in to find her son. She sees Teo being held at knife point.

CINTHIA

Donato has been kind enough to get his lawyer to clarify Cinthia's legal position for Jero. It turns out that Ester can get custody of Denis very easily because Cinthia is an addict. Cinthia can regain custody after three years if she has a steady income, a place to live and is clean. In the meantime, she can visit her child if the person who has custody agrees.


CATALINA

Erik appears and defends his friend Catalina. Flavia promises to tell the owner of the apartment who is living at his property. Catalina threatens to sue them for discrimination. Gina gets out her phone and starts recording the "trans phobic" crowd which eventually gets the crowd to disperse. Later, Erick calls the owner to tell them the situation. Instead of helping Catalina, the owner agrees with the crowd's sentiment and gives Catalina three days to move out. Gina bring up Catalina's plight at breakfast. Chepina and julia agree with her. Misael is of the same opinion as the mob the night before.

JERO

Jero is still not sure he wants to be an organ donor but he will think about it.

I'm getting sick of Daniela. Doesn't she see how selfish Fausto is? She tries talking to him as if he were a normal person. Karen is awful, but at least she doesn't get histerical- she schemes and plots. I wonder what that psychologist thought when Fausto started badmouthing Memo. It can't be that she didn't see Fausto is at least jealous. But I'm curious if she believed his 'I want to protect my daughter' story.
I remember thinking Macario loved his kids, but I'm a few episodes ahread and the guy uses Chema the same way Fausto used Isabela. Macario doesn't love his kids as much as he loves himself. I wonder why he is so hostile to Grace, though.

I'm now curious how Mati knew she'd be able to use Rayo when they met. I honestly can't just say 'oh she is just lost' or whatever it is that people love saying in these cases. Mati turned out to be pretty awful. The funny thing is that Rayo at least considered her real friend and doesn't want to take revenge (this seemed too good to be true).Poor Teo.
I've lost count of men trying to use their kids in these telenovelas.
Julia's complaint that Angel is like all other men and all of them use fists to solve their problems amused me because I wonder if it isn't actually true that most of them are exactly like that so it's pointless to complain.
Ana S. is genuinely disappointing.Obsessive women are rather boring after a while.
 

Camino #51

Great stuff, RGV Chick. You got it all.

One correction: When Mac was on the phone with the person who made the deal with Cesar he referred to himself as Tio Abuelo, which I interpreted to mean Great-Uncle. Does that make him even more of a monster?

Although I hate her I hope Ursula lives up to her name when that time comes. However we have seen in this episode that she is only imagining Cesar's ghost because Mac didn't see him. Is he the brother of Ursula's mother that he witnessed her mental deterioration? I think that matters because his casual attitude to all this is seriously disturbing.

This episode also left me with no clue as to where Karen stands on Fausto's threat to Daniela's life. I strongly doubt she knows anything specific about the "accident" that killed her mother and Fausto's parents. The fewer people who know such things the better for the perp or the mastermind and Fausto is at least intelligent enough to know that.

Anna Maria just violated her confidentiality with Daniela while wrongly agreeing to not reveal the contents of this conversation with Fausto. She should have her license revoked for this despite that she seemed to smell a rat while observing them a few minutes later.

Fausto wants to see the pain felt by both Isabella and Daniela after he has Memo murdered. He is that sadistic.

Eugenio's scolding of Fausto was very gringo-style. If you are in the US corporate world you are taught to keep a stiff upper lip. He doesn't stoop to Fausto's level.

When we get to the FPS and Fausto is dead or in prison I hope Isabella gets two kittens... or a mama cat with four babies.

Gracias, Jarifa. This series has too much going on and only 17 episodes to go.

Maite has lived down to my expectations and may her Karmageddon be severe for what she did to Rayo. What she did to Teo last night will turn him into the next Woody Allen.

Maite and Chilo need to pay for their crimes but I also hope Flavia never gets her stuff back. Those bells symbolize her sense of entitlement so I hope all of them broke when they were swept into the bag.

Misael loves and respects no one. He doesn't need a wife or girlfriend and even a streetwalking prostitute would be too good for him. What he needs is one of those deluxe sex dolls I once saw in an HBO documentary. He doesn't even care about how his lies will send Danny to a shrink someday.

I was afraid JuanPa would be mad at Gaby. When they met he was not happy that she wasn’t doing anything with her life. At least that’s how I remember it! But he of all people know how Fausto really is a monster.

The meeting with the psychologist was interesting. Fausto really never had any intention of letting Isa know who her dad is. I wonder, legally, who the psychologist is bound to. I would assume it would be Isa since that’s who she sees. But I bet Dani is there more than Fausto. It will be interesting to see what she thinks of Memo and what she decides. As a psychologist she should be better at reading people than others are. This whole cast is pretty clueless about the people closest to them.

So Mac has been getting money from the people who want the baby. And he’s quite willing to steal the baby. It’s scary to think there might be people as low as some of these characters walking among us!

Glad all the young peoples’ romances are smooth sailing for now. I’m not sure why Grace is so confident that she can win over JuanPa. She’ll try to trap him some way. I did feel sorry for her when Macario came in and greeted Gaby but just glared at her. And I enjoyed Leo’s disguise!

I can almost feel sorry for Ursula, but then I think about all she’s done and end up enjoying Cesar’s appearances!

Thanks, Jarifa, this was an edge of your seat episode! I didn’t realize Angel had asked Ester to put Misael in his office. And I hated that he hit first. He just lowered himself. But I’m hoping that Ester is ready to share what she knows about Braulio.

Misael was hateful in this episode, as usual. I am so sick of his unbuttoned shirt! He has a very outdated view of the husband/wife relationship. But now I know how Danny will see what his father is like. But I’m guessing Danny agreed to go with his dad.

Did Angel and Julia sleep together? I can’t remember that happening but she was at his apartment once. Misael seems to know it happened but I thought Braulio had made it up and told him to make him mad.

I wonder how much Ana Sofia knows about her father’s business. She knew Misael was working for him. But he was also working for Braulio. Guess he was double crossing both of them.

Hoping the police arrive tonight and save Teo while arresting Chilo and Mati. Mati has pretty much made the others mad enough that they should be done with her. I feel so sorry for Teo.

I’m surprised Cinthia has so few rights as the mother. I would think she’d get supervised visitation as long as she’s drug free. We know Ester won’t give her visitation. I wish she’d reach out to her own parents. Ester has turned into her mother!

I will hazard a guess that Teo will make it out alive and physically intact. In real life, healing the psychological damage he is experiencing would be a difficult and challenging process. Fear, humiliation, and oh so much more. My question is who will comfort him, his mother “screaming about her little bells”?? Far from perfect, Maximo is by far the better and truly only choice.

Frustration with Julia continues to mount. When Angel asks her to file charges again “so that there is a paper trail if nothing else”, “she says she will think about it”. What is there to think about?? With both Braulio and Ana Sofia propping Misael up (for different nefarious reasons), he is now seemingly invincible. I don’t condone violence as a rule but I do make exceptions and if Angel is the one needed to drive a stake through Misael’s heart (how fitting) I will not lose a moment of sleep.

At least Ester told Angel she doesn’t trust Braulio. I hope Angel takes this to heart.

Donato’s advised us that the law is clearly on Ester’s side. I was surprised that Cinthia could visit Denis but only if Ester agrees! I would think that would be up to the court as the one having custody would be unlikely to allow that. From her actions the other day, I’m fairly sure visitation will not occur here.

While I didn’t like Gina’s recording Rayo the other day, she is true and steadfast friend to Catalina.

“Jero is still not sure he wants to be an organ donor but he will think about it”. Why does this keep coming up? ☹

Diana, "Nefausto wisely kept his answer to Karen’s query non-committal." He did a good job of that, didn't he? But Karen is wise enough to know that Fausto will go to any lengths to gets his fortune. I really hope that by the time he gets it (IF he gets it), it's a measly few pesos! You asked, "When will it dawn on Daniela that Nefausto is stalling and has no intention of Isabela ever being told Memo is her father?" Dani does know that Fausto is stalling, but she had no idea that he never intended to tell Isa that Memo is her father. Amazing how Fausto manages to sound so convincing, and after all Dani knows that he has done, she still tends to believe him. And Diana, I have no love for Grace either, but yes, she is (and has been) greatly affected by Mac's indifference and rejection...though that is no excuse for her current actions.

Waterlily, regarding the psychologist: "But I'm curious if she believed his 'I want to protect my daughter' story." I think the psych is holding off any judgement until she gets more information. As she noted, Dani has given her a totally different version of what Memo is like. Liz, I'm pretty sure your assumption is correct, "I wonder, legally, who the psychologist is bound to. I would assume it would be Isa..."

Urban, regarding Karen, "I strongly doubt she knows anything specific about the "accident" that killed her mother and Fausto's parents." No, she doesn't, at least in regards to what really caused it. I find it odd that Sebas was so greatly affected and brings up his mother frequently, yet Karen rarely mentions her.

Liz, "It will be interesting to see what she [the psychologist] thinks of Memo and what she decides." That certainly will be interesting! NeFausto, of course, is a bit worried that Memo will contradict everything he said, but is confident that his word will have more credibility that Memo's. If the psychologist hones in on Memo's feelings for Dani, I think there may be a problem.

I still think there's something off about Mac and Ursula's relationship. We 'know' they are uncle and niece, but we 'knew' Cesar was Ursa's cousin too....there's something not quite right there and I'm wondering if their lying about being related. Not giving Mac too much credit, but it could answer some questions about him being willing to sell his great-niece or nephew if he or she wasn't.....I don't know, they just don't treat each other like uncle/niece.

Gaby getting out of working by pressing mom on whether or not she likes Eugenio would have been masterful if she'd done it on purpose! LOL It's even funnier that she didn't but I bet it gave her an idea for how to get freedom to leave the house in the future!

Cesar wasn't Ursula's cousin; that was a lie she told the Santos family. He was her husband and the father of her baby. Macario was the only one who knew the truth about him. He is probably an accomplice in some past crime of Cesar's, but we have no details about this... yet.

Sebas is younger than Karen and much more normal emotionally. He will need a shrink when he learns the truth about her.

Cesar was not really blood-related to Macario and Ursula. They just said that to justify his presence there. They couldn't very well admit he was her husband. Ursula because of Memo and Macario for future blackmail opportunities. Mac and Ursula ARE related, but he is a creepy, handsy pervy uncle. He's probably been acting that way all her life, which is why she doesn't even give it a second thought.

Oh my,I knew tbat dingaling Flavia's precious bell collection was in danger because she constantly fussed over them .However, I had no idea that anyone else would consider them worth stealing . and ,.. oh yeah, Flavia, your son was also in danger . Watch her start humiliating Teo for letting Mati into her house for a tryst. Jer will have his work cut out for him to calm her down.

Mati has been on a no stop decent. Has she finally reached rock bottom ?

Miserable just gets more miserable and brutish. The way he uses his son against Ju!ia is despicable. I can understand why Angel wanted to belt him.

waterlily, I think that Mati knew she could use Rayo because she was totally vulnerable until she found Homero. Rayo was on the verge of nowhere to live, nobody to care about her (the friends were less that stellar in keeping track of her) and nothing to eat. Rayo was desperate in need of help to survive and not to end up in an orphanage. Mati was too happy to step in to offer her a life line.

Urban, I like your theory about the symbolism of those porcelain bells. It sure works for me. I am sure the ones that didn't break or get chipped when they went into the bag will get broken as Chilo moves the bag around. A bit thumbs up to Chilo for removing the bells!!!

Liz, I agree that Danny agreed to go with his dad. That is the big reason that Julia needed to throw Misael out of the house already. She has no backbone when she needs one.

Diana, like you, I do not like hearing about that organ donor drive one bit. The writers would not keep mentioning it unless they had/will have a reason. We don't have much time left but with the speed things happen in this novela, anything could happen!!!

Susanlynn, "I ca understand why Angel wanted to belt him" Me, too. I enjoyed seeing Angel lock the door to his office and closing the blinds and telling Ester to not come in no matter what she heard. Too bad she had to get Braulio involved and the fight was cut short.

Super job, Rgv Chick. When I saw Mac and Yolanda in the afterglow in their leopard prints, I thought I can look away but our dear recapper has to keep her eyes affixed. You took one for the team. ;>

Mac thinks he's so good with the sex, as Yolanda affirms (ack!), that he can't believe Amparo can resist him. I'm no Yolanda fan, but I don't think she's knows he's capable of selling a baby and aiding the murder (failed) of his brother.

I feared the psychologist was another professional who would lie for cash, but she seemed to be objective and professional. To me, the criteria she should look at is whether Memo is sane and safe to be around children, no more than that.

I'm sure Danny thinks his daddy is playing a trick to get mommy to reunite, but Danny saw the look of pain and anguish on Julia's face as the car headed away. I expect him to foil his pop's plan.

Teo has irritated me to no end, but that poor boy. Mati gets an "A" in cruel.

Yay, Rayo and Mati's former minions have turned a corner. I hope those three remain friends.

CAMINO Ep 52 Part 1...Just the facts...

Fausto arrives with Isabela who tells Dani about the little kitten she found, and she asked her mother in the stars to help her find the mother. Isabela jumps as she tells Dani that they found the mother cat. Dani smiles as she tells Isa thinks that she did some magic.

At the swimming pool, the coach tells JP that he needs to focus on his dives, and he can’t be distracted by all these little girls who are coming to see him. As he ends. JP looks to the side and Gaby is there with a big smile waving at him.

Aaron calls Mac and dangles to gambling carrot. Mac doesn’t have any money but he will soon be coming into some; so he agrees to go.

At the restaurant, Amparo is happy that Memo is going to see the psychologist. She advises Memo to make sure and dress well so he can give a good impression. He needs to show that he is serious, responsible, and that he was educated with good values. He needs to also show that he is honest and loving, and that he would give his life for his daughter. Scratch, scratch from Memo. Amparo emphasizes that telling Isabela that he is her father depends on the psychologist's opinion of him.

Aaron is meeting with Fausto who tells him that he needs to have everything ready by tomorrow. Aaron warns that Fausto is taking a risk, but Fausto has no other option; this will work, so that Daniela will stay away from Nemo. Aaron worries that if Fausto opens that door, he will be taking a risk, but Fausto tell him that if he does things correctly, things will work out.

Humberto is confident that things will go well with the psychologist. He tells Memo that he will soon have his daughter with him. He then asks what Memo will do once Isabela knows that he is her father. Will he bring her to live with him? Memo says no, he can’t do that. Memo wants to do things right; once Isabela knows the truth, then he’ll see what path to take. Memo also reminds Humberto that Isabela already has another family, but having her live with him would truly make him happy.

At the swimming pool, Gabby is cheering and clapping for JP as he dives. When JP comes out of the water, he goes to Gabriela and tells her that he needs to ask her to stop coming. The upcoming competition is very important and he needs to focus or he could lose his spot. Gaby takes offense and tells him that he will not see her there anymore.

At the company, the board meeting is taking place. Eugenio tells the members that he will support Sebastian‘s proposal. Fausto speaks against it, but Karen tells him that she changed her mind, she will support her brother...and the decision has already been made. She once again tells Fausto that he has the least shares so he doesn’t have much say in the decision. Fausto then takes the opportunity to announce that Aaron decided to stay with only 2% of the shares, and he has sold him the rest. Caras impactadas!!

At the restaurant, Grace approaches Gaby and asks why she’s back so soon. Gaby shares that JP asked her not to go see him train anymore because she distracts him. Grace advises that JP will come to apologize but Gaby should not be so forgiving. She should punish JP for a while and make him suffer.

At the company, Karen is storms into her office in a fury, followed by Aaron. Aaron tries to explain, but Karen asks if he’s going to explain how he used her. Aaron tells her that Fausto pressured him, and he had no choice but to give him the shares. Karen thinks that she has been so stupid as to not know that Fausto planned everything; she has been so stupid! Aaron explains that what there is between them has nothing to do with what’s happening. Karen retorts that he got close to her just to follow Fausto's orders. This was all just a script that Fausto wrote it to fool her. Aaron assures her that he has been in love with her for many years and he was just waiting for an opportunity for her to want to be with him. Karen spurts out that he asked her to marry him with the ring that Fausto gave him! After she asks if he’s going to deny it, she SLAPS him.
 

CAMINO Ep 52 Part 2

At the restaurant, JP arrives and Grace tells Gaby to remember what she advised her. Gaby walks staunchly to JP and is very stern with him. But when JP shows her some information about a university that would be best for her to study public relations, Gaby gives him a big smile as a grouchy-faced Grace watches from afar.

At Karen’s office, Karen spews that she should have suspected that someone like Aaron could not give her a diamond ring. She gave him those shares to give him power over Fausto and what did he do, he gave them to Fausto after promising her that he would help her destroy Fausto! Aaron tells her that this is just a small set back, but Karen charges that his mask has fallen; he and Fausto had all this planned since the beginning! Aaron denies it. Karen continues that he told her about all the secrets that Fausto had but it was only so that she could fall into his trap. Aaron tells her to marry him and he will tell her everything; she can’t even imagine the secret behind the birth. Karen doesn’t let him continue; she doesn’t believe anything he says. She asks if he truly thought that she would marry him. She would rather be dead than become a wife of a mediocre man like him!

Dani walks into Fausto’s office. She explains that she is there because she and Karen are going out to lunch. Karen storms in asking Fausto how he could dare to do this to her. When Dani asked why she’s coming in yelling, Karen is glad that Dani is there so that Fausto can tell both of them about the secret he has regarding Isabela‘s birth.

At the restaurant, Gabby tells JP that she would love to attend a university like that, but she doesn’t have the money. Amparo approaches and sits down with them; she tells Gabi that if she is serious about studying, she has her full support… And Amparo will see how she can get the money to send her.

Back at the office, Dani asks for an explanation from Fausto as to what there is behind Isabela‘s birth. Fausto agrees to tell her, but Karen needs to leave. He is tired of Karen getting into their business. Karen argues that she has every interest in her goddaughter‘s business. When he warns Fausto to be careful, Fausto dares her to go ahead and speak if she has something else to say.

Sebastian has told the group that his father is supporting him with his proposal. Everyone is happy and congratulates him. Lupita tells him that this is a great opportunity to get along better with his father. Sebastian comments that he had said that he was going to change, and he has now turned from the superficial Sebastian and to the Sebastian who is dedicated to his feelings and with their life.

At the office, after Fausto tells Karen to leave his office, she tells him that this will not be the end. When Danny asks what’s happening, Fausto tells her that Karen is just upset because Aaron sold him some of his shares. Dani points out that Karen came in talking about Isabela’s birth. She demands that Fausto to tell her the truth!

Memo is in his room looking at some old photos as Ursula sneaks up and surprises him. She asks who the girl in the picture is, so Memo explains that it’s Olivia, Isabela’s mother. He was thinking that now that Isabela will know that he is her father, she might ask about her mother. He remembered that he had these old photos. Memo then asks if she thinks Isabela would like to have them. Ursula replies, that if she were Isabela, she would like to know her mother, even if it was just in photos. Memo comments that he will ask the psychologist to see what she says. He thinks Isabela will have much hope when she sees who her mother was.
 

CAMINO Ep 52 Part 3

At the office, Fausto lies and tells Dani that he has asked Aaron to investigate Memo. After Dani scoffs, Fausto tells her that he needs to know who this man is before she insists on telling Isabela the truth. Dani retorts that he can’t be doing these things without talking to her. When she says that Memo has nothing to hide, Fausto tells her she is mistaken. She is blinded by that man, but he isn’t! It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but what Memo told them about Isabela‘s birth is not true, and he intends to find out the truth before telling Isabela that that man is her father. Dani accuses (correctly) that he is just finding excuses to delay telling Isabela the truth. She can’t believe that he would keep the fact that he is investigating Memo from her. Fausto then drops a bomb— she was the first one to keep things from him… When did she intend to tell him that the trucker kissed her!?

Dani is silent; so Fausto continues that he isn't even going to ask what Dani feels for Memo, but from the way she defends him, it is clear to him. Dani admits that she has thought to tell him many times...and since it happened, she hasn't had a moment of peace. Fausto reminds her that he has asked her many times what there was between her and Memo. Dani knows and she should have been sincere...she feels terrible. She is responsible for her actions...she is not going to deny it, but has been focused on her priorities and her priority is her daughter; and she will never do anything to hurt her daughter. When Fausto berates Memo for manipulating her, Dani assures him that no one has manipulated her. She adds that there is nothing between her and Memo; and things never got further than that kiss. Fausto believes her because he knows the woman he married. They need to continue discussing this, but not at the office. Before leaving Dani asks who told him, but Fausto deflects saying that it really doesn't matter.

Grace tells JP that she is glad he smoothed things over with Gabi because Gaby arrived very angry. JP knows Gaby has her moods but she is a really cool girl; when Grace gets to know her, she will understand...and maybe she and Gaby can become friends. When Grace comments that she has no friends, JP tells her that maybe he will become her friend too.

Dani goes to Karen's office and asks if it was she who told Fausto about the kiss. Karen of course denies it and thinks it must have been Ursula. Dani regrets not having told Fausto earlier...she is too upset and asks that they postpone their lunch date. Karen agrees and will go to Dani's house later. When Dani asks if Karen is okay, Karen tells her that she and Aaron are totally over.

The young folk make plans to get together at Sebas's house for pizza and a game of Karaoke. JP suggests that they invite Grace, but Luoita doesn't think it's a good idea since she has a bad feeling about Grace. Gabi however thinks it's a good idea and goes to invite Grace who quickly agrees.

Mac is at the illicit casino and borrows more money from Aaron since he feels lucky.

Eugenio asks Fausto why he didn't go to him if he wanted to buy more shares. Fausto asks if he really has to ask...this company was also his father's...yet he only ended up with crumbs. When Eugenio comments that he was surprised that Aaron sold some of his shares, Fausto replies that it was just good business. Eugenio then understands how Fausto feels; he doesn't know why Fausto's father did what he did, but it is his duty to fulfill his father's last will.

Mac loses big...FFW...

Dani and Karen are now at Dani's house. After Dani tells Karen about Fausto investigating Memo, Karen tells her that she is going away for a while. Dani thinks it's because of Aaron; and Karen tells her that it is not only because of Aaron, she just needs to get away. When Dani tells her that she will miss her very much, Karen tells her that she is only leaving for a couple of weeks...and maybe she can find the love of her life at a cafe in Paris.


 

CAMINO Ep 52 Part 4

The young folks are at Sebas's house having fun.

Dani and Karen are still talking when Fausto enters. When Karen tells him that she is going to Europe, Fausto spews that she can't leave!

Aaron tells Mac that he need not worry about his debt to him.

Fausto tells Karen that there are too many pending projects at the company. Karen will discuss that with her father and she doesn't need to permission to leave. After Dani tells Fausto not to pressure Karen, she goes to check on dinner. Fausto tells Karen that she can't leave because she won't gain anything. Karen retorts that she will gain self-love. Fausto then chides her for telling Dani that he is hiding something about Isa's birth. Karen retorts that she was only repeating what Aaron told her...and Fausto should be careful with Aaron who will betray him just as he betrayed her. Fausto thinks that he can control his pets! When Fausto thinks that Karen is leaving because of the shares Aaron sold him, Karen assures him that is not why she is leaving; she is leaving to forget about him and maybe find...man...who will love her.

The young folks are fighting for the last piece of pizza when Eugenio swoops in and takes it. After Gaby introduces Grace and tells him that she will be studying public relations, Eugenio takes his leave. When Lupita tells Gaby that they need to leave, Sebas knows that she only wants to leave because his father is there. JP suggests that they continue their fun at Grace's house and everyone agrees.

Mac arrives at Yo's house dragging his tail because he lost mucho dinero. Yo consoles him with kisses, then asks about the bruja. After Mac tells her that he is being indifferent, Yo suggests that the bruja needs to see that she may lose him forever...and he should get his own "amiga"...they won't tell Amparo that they have been seeing each other for years or that they have a daughter; Yo will just be his "amiga."

At the restaurant, Amparo comments to Memo, Leo, and Humberto that ever since the restaurant opened, things seem to be getting better for all of them. They all agree and Humberto assures Leo that he supports him in his singing career. Memo then asks Amparo about Mac, so she tells him that Mac told her that if she wanted to go on with her life and go out with Eugenio, he would not bother her. The men then tell her that they will support her in whatever she decides to do.

Mac and Yo are moving the bed when they hear the young folks enter. Mac looks like a trapped rat as he recognizes his daughters voices!!

Rgv Chick, your stellar recap was filled with razor sharp observations and was, as always, written with insight and wisdom. You did not merely relate, you explained and illuminated the facts, the fiction, the illusions and made sense of it all. I always learn so much through your masterful vantage point and tonight was no exception.

So many misconceptions, misunderstandings, and erroneous impressions. Humberto “…then asks what Memo will do once Isabela knows that he is her father. Will he bring her to live with him?” Uh no, the child has a family including an adopted father who hates Memo. There are a few things to be sorted out first…

Dani is so susceptible to Fausto’s lies. Now he’s planted a new seed that “what Memo told them about Isabela‘s birth is not true”. Dani, mewling “she feels terrible. She is responsible for her actions”. So much ado about nothing! A kiss is just a kiss and that is all that it was. The self-flagellation is too much.

“Memo…thinks Isabela will have much hope when she sees who her mother was”. Our Memo is getting way ahead of himself. Isabela hasn’t even seen who her father is! The way this is going that might not happen until episode 92! ☹

Karen is a glutton for punishment. She knows Fausto will never (willingly) leave Dani unless she leaves him first! Her obsession with Fausto is confusing and repulsive. And now the realization that perhaps he cannot be outwitted. She and Aaron seemed to have a foolproof plan but Aaron gravely underestimated Fausto and is now paying dearly.

Yolanda feels “he should get his own "amiga"...they won't tell Amparo that they have been seeing each other for years or that they have a daughter; Yo will just be his "amiga." She is smarter than I gave her credit for. She knows that the truth about the timeline of their relationship as well as Grace will not be hidden forever. And by that time, Amparo will have taken a powder and Macario will be hers. Be careful what you wish for.

And Aaron…perhaps the most deluded of all. He sold Fausto the shares SHE gave him; did he really think Karen would forgive him? Viewerville fully expected her fury and condemnation but he didn’t?? “Aaron explains that what there is between them has nothing to do with what’s happening” OMG…and her throwing the fact he gave her the ring FAUSTO bought was just another straw that broke her back.

Thanks, Rgv Chick, that was excellent. I’m so ready for the good guys to wake up to the people around them. All these loving, or not so loving couples, with their hidden agendas.

I was pleased that Lupita has reservations about Grace. Hopefully Grace won’t make to much headway in her plan.

Aaron didn’t realize Karen would be furious! He isn’t very bright. Does he know Fausto speaks of him as his pet. I bet he thinks of Karen that way too. He’s not capable of really loving anyone. I know I shouldn’t, but I do feel sorry for Karen. She’s finally waking up to the real Fausto. If he found out she caused the loss of Dani’s babies I bet he’d kill her! And the same with her finding out about her mother’s death. They do deserve each other.

I wish Dani would wake up and realize what Fausto really is. I guess she’ll believe anything he says Aaron discovered!

Loved Max being trapped in the bedroom! Will he stay hidden or will he and Yolanda let everyone discover they’re “friends”!

Great stuff, RGV Chick.

Of course Fausto's scheme will fail and he will have yet another tantrum over it. He's beginning to remind me of Colonel Klink of Hogan's Heroes. I wonder whether Mark Tacher ever watched that program.

However, I can envision him and Karen killing each other in the end. That may be preceded by her confessing to causing Daniela's miscarriages and/or disclosure of his guilt in the death of her mother. Not sure if the writers would go this way, but most of the ones listed on IMDb also wrote for MFEA and there are many parallels to it.

Grace is truly pathetic. Her hair reminds me of pickaninny braids and for a modern-day teen it looks like she intended to make herself look ugly/crazy/whatever. Or is this Yolanda's fault? I can think of no worse punishment for a teen girl than to be made to see herself as ugly while working in a beauty salon.

To an earlier point about Ursula: It does look sometimes like there is something pervy about her and Macario, but I think they are related because he knew all about her mother. I don't think she would talk about that so easily to anyone outside her family, even a crime family. There is no honor among thieves,

I'm surprised JP suggested moving the bunch to Grace's, but maybe he figures the more Grace connects with the others the less she'll target him.

So Lupita has a bad feeling about Grace, even without seeing those dirty looks she flashes behind the girls' and Amparo's back.

Looks like Fausto and Aaron will plant something(?) to make the psych think Memo is no good. Whatever it is, I hope Dani realizes Fausto is behind it. I hate to say it, but Dani needs Karen's (selfish) advice.

Humberto, you would have Isabela move in with Memo so Ursula can be the custodial mother over Dani? Think better, grandpa.

THE HIGHLIGHT: Jorge Flores returns to counsel Julia!!!

1. The mayhem continues at Flavia's house as Chilo is still threatening to cut Teo's throat. Jero offers to exchange places with Teo. He warns Chilo that the police are other way.

2. Ester explains to Angel about the financial records that she found at the company and that Braulio has been collecting large quantities of money for the last three years. Angel says Braulio may have an excuse. Ester says that is why she didn't tell him before. She, also, knows that she had no right look at those records but she knows Braulio is hiding something. Angel thanks her.

3. Braulio arrives and Ester leaves.

4. Jero has Rayo tie his hands so he will not be a threat. Chilo refuses his offer and tells them to all stand aside because he is leaving with Teo. As he goes to descend the stairs, Mati crashes a ceramic container filled with water on his head that sends him flying down the stairs. He tries to get up but Jero kicks him. Mati gets going while the going is good and is out of there.

5. Braulio tells Angel that he knew how it was going to be with Misael. Why did he ever hire him again? Angel tries to explain that AnaS was threatening him with taking over the company because of the lawsuit her father had filed which neither he nor Braulio ever was made aware of. What else should he do?? Braulio has to agree. Angel knows that AnaS isn't really interested in the Funes company that is why he wants Brauilo to put him in contact with his partner in waiting Arnaldo Bermejo. He wants him in on the business as they put it back together. Braulio says no worries, he will take care of it.

6. Gina is going to go with Julia to file a complaint against Misael. Julia calls Rodolfo about the situation. As he hems and haws about the situation, Gina tells him to stop defending that snake Misael that tried to rape Julia.

7. The policeman tells Flavia she needs to come down to the office to file charges. Rayo says the guy was the same guy that robbed her father's house. Always suspicious Flavia asks her what she had to do with this robbery. Rayo makes it clear she had nothing to do with it. Flavia thanks Jero adoringly as Jero says he only did what he needed to do. Max arrives to check on his son and says he came as quickly as he could. Flavia tells Max they can never count on him. If it hadn't been for Jero, she does not know what would have happened.

8. Rodolfo wants to know why Julia never told him about the attempted rape. He should have been defending her. (Okay and even without the rape attempt he should have been defending her) He says that Misael needs to be charged with attempted rape and with stealing his grandson. Chepina makes sure that Rodolfo feels bad about defending that machista Misael rather than his own daughter. Gina joins in. Julia says now is not the time. She asks her dad to come home ASAP.


 

VENCER Part 2

9. The police do not give Julia the answer she wants to hear. The officer tells Julia that in Mexico she cannot file a kidnapping complaint against the father of a child while she is still married to him. He says they could do something if he were to take the child out of Mexico. Julia says her son doesn't have a passport. Julia admits that she is in the middle of getting a divorce. He asks if age divorce is because of domestic abuse. She says no. He respectfully asks her to allow them to handle real kidnapping cases. He can imagine that she and her husband will get back together eventually. Rodolfo becomes enraged and mentions that Misael is involved in a court case up in Matehuala. Gina ask if it doesn't count that Misael tried to rape her? The officer asks if she filed a complaint. Julia says she tried but they wouldn't let her. (and she gave up???)

10. Misael is continuing to brainwash Dany saying that it is only the two of them together forever. He needs to be with the macho in the family and teach him how to be a man. . He tells him his mother is a bad person who wants to separate them. He tells Dany that they can go to a place he can rent down by the ocean and he will get him a dog. Misael says if they are together, they need nobody else to be happy.

11. The family is openly critical of the officer. They inform him that he is good at doing nothing. Gina threatens to film the whole encounter and post it online. The officer points to a sign saying that phones are prohibited but if she wants to use hers, she will end up behind bars. The officer repeats that he can do nothing for Julia. It would be better if she talked to her husband.

12. Flavia continues criticizing Max for never having been as brave as Jero. Jero sees it is time to leave. Flavia tries to hug him . Jero says they owe him nothing. Flavia says course they do. She blames it all on Teo. Teo says he realizes that he did the wrong thing. Rayo leaves. Flavia tells Teo that every day he is worse. Max says no every day Flavia is worse. Flavia blames Max for supporting Teo in all of "those things." Jero decides to put in his two cents by telling them that Teo is a teenager and they need to pay attention to him. He has his own insecurities and desires that are normal. He needs help and love and not to have to watch them fight all day long. Max has had enough, thanks Jero and asks him to go so they can talk as family. Jero leaves. Flavia is not pleased.

13. Rayo tells Celeste that she feels for Teo. He feels so very sorry and was afraid. His mother was, of course, hysterical because somebody broke into her house to rob her. Celeste is happy it all ended well.

14. Max tells Flavia that all she does is complain. He is fed up with her . She calls him useless and says he doesn't know how to take care of his son. He tells her to shut up. She tells him to shut up. Teo texts Rayo that he is crazy. He feels so bad. His parents won't stop fighting. They made fun of him.

15. Rayo tells Celeste she is going to answer Teo right away. Celeste approves. Teo refuses to meet with Rayo because he never wants to leave his house again. He hates himself. Everyone saw him in his underpants. Rayo answers that none of that matters. It could have happened to anyone. They can always chat via texts or messages. Celeste asks Rayo if she has feelings for Teo beyond those of a friend. Rayo responds saying it doesn't really matter what she feels because he has liked Mati for a real long time and Mati is involved in a real mess.
 

VENCER Part 3

16. Mati is in an alley somewhere. She gets a text from Rayo telling her if she was so brave as to participate in robbery she should be just as brave to go talk to the police and tell them everything she did. What she did to Teo was a really crummy. Mati says no way. They can come and get her. Rayo is not her friend so she shouldn't be offering her advice she never asked for. Teo sends Mati a text saying that she not only made fun of him but she broke his heart. He loved her and would have done any thing for her. Mati answers that she did that to him because she wanted to. She never asked him for anything. How goofy is he that he would actually think that she could be interested in him? He makes her sick. Teo doesn't understand why she is being like this with him. She calls him a grimy little crybaby. She tells him to stop bothering her or she will post all of his dirty photos on her social networks. She sends him five photos of him tied to the bed.

17. Flavia is now telling Max that he never did anything for them. SHE bought all of the furniture, furnished kitchen and did all of the remodeling. He has never done anything. He compares her to being just like Ester but what he hates about Ester is a thousand times worse in Flavia since she is so very spiteful. Both of them always have to be right and feel like they are above everyone. Flavia says they have nothing to talk about and tells him he can leave. He walks right by Teo without acknowledging him and goes. Teo tries to go up to his room but Flavia says NOPE.

18. Jero is teaching Cinthia how to prep food on the truck. Cinthia asks if he found out anything about her getting her son back. Jero says she shouldn't get her hopes up because, as she thought, it is complicated.

19. Angel is talking with Ester again saying that her accusations against Braulio are very serious and what she saw doesn't mean that he was necessarily involved in anything illegal. She realizes that they would need to have overwhelming evidence to do something so that is why she hasn't made any formal accusations. Angel says when he came on board there was an audit but everything went through Braulio so he could easily have hidden what he wanted. She asks if he talked to the accountant. Maybe he looked the other way. Angel has an idea and thinks that AnaS might be useful for something. He asks Ester to keep an eye AnaS and keep track of everything she does.

20. Jero gives Cinthia all of the info and tells her that getting Dennis back may take longer than they thought. Cinthia concludes she is never going to get her her son back and it is all her fault. Jero tells her that the process has only started. They need to go back and talk to Ester. Cinthia doesn't know why they would do that. Ester hates her. Jero knows that Ester a good heart She is just a little mixed up now. With some luck, they may come to an agreement wit her.

21. Flavia has Teo cleaning up the kitchen telling him what he did was pure stupidity. How could he get involved with and believe that idiot? Teo tells her to stop already but she raves on about what they did to her house and her room. Teo says he knows what he did. He asks her for hug. She says after he is done cleaning.

22. Everyone in the family has been texting Misael but there is no answer.

23. Gina runs into Rayo. Rayo tells her that she went overboard with what she did with the info she gave her about Mati by exposing her on the social networks and asking her followers to send her hateful messages. Gina defends herself saying she did Rayo a favor. Rayo thinks not. Mat has enough problems without adding any more. Rayo tells her that Mati robbed Teo's house and by pure luck they didn't catch her. Gina listens and smiles.
 

VENCER Part 4

24. Julia is at home crying and thinking about Danny. She tells Chepina that feels like she is going crazy. Angel calls but Julia chooses not to answer. His message says that he is worried about her.

25. Angel tells AnaS that he hasn't had any time to give proper attention to the company's finances. He asks her to set up an audit that is independent of the Funes company. He asks her to be very discrete. Audits always upset employees and especially now with the financial condition the company is in. She asks if they need to also exclude Brauio. He says yes it does. He wants the audit kept just between the two of them. She likes that idea!

26. Gina tells Rayo that Mati is a poisonous spider and people need to be warned before they end up in her trap. Rayo does not agree. She thinks that Mati should be punished but by the justice system. Gina tells her lotsa' luck with that. She has just seen with her very eyes how the justice system does not work. What Rayo said has no effect.

27. Homero asks Mirna whatever happened to Sergio. He hasn't seen him in a long while. Did they break up? Mirna says no. Sergio is just a very busy man. She tells him that the wedding is still on. It will be a superX3 wedding. He is very happy with her and Rayo. Mirna insists on referring to Rayo as the "bastard". Homero doesn't approve.

28. Rayo arrives at her home and runs in to give her father a hug. Mirna calls her a parasite. She leaves and Homero says Mirna cannot bite her tongue because if she did, she would poison herself. They both laugh. From the other room, Mirna lets him know that she heard him. Homero tells Rayo he doesn't want her turning out like Mirna. She needs to concentrate in school and find something productive to do with her free time. He tells her she will never be alone. If he is concerned about her, it is because he loves her. They hug.

29. Misael finally calls and Julia asks him to PLEASE bring Misael back to her. He demands that she first greet him as she should and then drop her old lady drama. His son is fine because he is with is father. He will let her talk to him. Julia tells Dany that she loves him. He shouts not the phone that he is staying with his father and doesn't want to talk to her anymore.

30. Rayo asks Homero and Angel for permission to go see Teo. He needs her help. She also wants to see Celeste. Angel reminds her how she has to keep up with her studies. She knows that. They give her permission and she is overjoyed.

31. Homero asks Angel why he looks so sad. Angel says there is a lot going on in his life and at work. He doesn't want to overwhelm his father with his problems. Homero has confidence in Angel's decisions and how he is pushing the company ahead. Angel says he isn't doing it alone. There is Braulio. Homero says he trusts Braulio. That is why Braulio was his right hand man and why he made him in charge of finances and at a certain moment . . . Homero starts to slip away. From somewhere else in his mind, Homero talks about putting Misael in charge of the drivers. Misael is a real hard worker. Homero suddenly is back and asks what they were talking about. Angel says it doesn't matter.
 

VENCER Part 5

32. Julia asks how she wouldn't be angry since he took her son away. Misael blames it all on her for going on her escapades with Angel. His son will get all time and attention he needs from him not like her. Julia reminds him that he has never taken care of Dany. Julia says if he really wants to be with his son, they need to do things the right way and get an agreement. Misael informs her that he has decided how things are going to be. What else does she want??? She reminds him that all of Danny's clothes and books are there at home . He needs to go to school. He says he will take care of that when he decides where they are going to live and what school Danny is going to attend. Julia asks him not to do this just to get even. She asks where he is. He hangs up on her. She texts Celeste and Ester that Misael took Danny and she needs to talk to them tomorrow.

33. At supper, Flavia tells Jero that Teo is being punished by having to stay in his room and apologizes for Max asking him to leave earlier. She keeps touching his arm and he looks uncomfortable. She is all flirty in her cloying Flavia kind of way and thanks him again for all he did. He is a real man!!! She feels so protected by his side. She apologizes for the trouble she gave him about paying his sons and Cinthia. Now, she is completely comfortable with his decisions. Jero says he is a little uncomfortable with her tone and actions. She emphasizes that she is only talking in the business sense and nothing else.

34. That same evening, Ester and Celeste come to see Julia. They include Rayo via a video call. They all agree that they will always be there for each other. Ester says that Julia has to find a legal means of dealing with Misael. Celeste tells her not to lose faith. Rayo says Danny will be back with her soon.

35. The next day a breakfast, everyone is depressed with Danny gone. Julia cannot believe she cannot do anything to get her son back. Chepina tells her again to see if Angel can help. What Julia does want to do is go talk to a lawyer. Chepina has someone in mind from her pension organization and will go with her. Gina gets a text that Catalina is packing up to leave. It isn't fair. Gina wants to get a group of neighbors together to support Catalina so she and Erik don't have to leave leave. Julia is not up to going but she will text a group of neighbors and Rodolfo so that they show up.

36. Catalina is packing and talking to Erik. Gina comes other door and tells them to come outside because a group of neighbors are outside demonstrating for them to stay.

37. Julia is out walking with Chepina. She hopes that the lawyer can help her get her son back. Jorge El Vidente (Jorge the Psychic) almost runs into her. He tells her to be patient and calm. The boy will be back. Chepina says he looks familiar . . . Julia asks why he told her that. He introduces himself and tells her that he can feel her pain due to the fact that her son is not with her. He says that is a feeling she has never experienced before. He wishes that he could tell her that this will be over soon and her peace will return but that is not the case.

38. Dany complains over the breakfast that MIsael got for him. He wants and egg and ham. (WAH!) Misael tells him that later he will take him to a restaurant and he can order what he wants. Dany looks less than enthusiastic being with Misael this morning.

39. Celeste wants Braulio to stick around for the protest . He says if Ester wants to arrive late that is her business. He tells Celeste to take care of herself. He is leaving.

 

VENCER Part 6

40. At the protest, Ester announces that she has found out that it is illegal for the owner of the apartment to throw Catalina out. If any one says that she cannot stay, it is a case of discrimination and Catalina can sue. Ester tells the "other" group (and Flavia) that they can do what they want but they cannot make Catalina and Erik move. Flavia wants everyone to vote on it because the owner gave HER the authority to decide whether they go or stay. Ester says NO because the rights of people are never up for a vote like this. Flavia ignores her and asks her group if they want the degenerate and her partner to leave. Her group yells yes!!

41. Jorge tells Julia that she can believe him or not. He only tells people what he senses. She is a very brave woman. Next, he talks about the angel that has been placed in her path. She needs to listen to her heart and even though she thinks that now is not the time to open herself up for a new love, the angel at her side has told her that he will be there for her always.That is true. She cannot believe it is as simple as he says. He says it will be. As for her son, good people like her will always find a way. Jorge leaves and has left Julia with a new sense of peace.

42. Mirna is upset because she hasn't been in contact with Sergio. Doris suggest she distract herself with something like working at the family business. That does not go over well. Doris mentions AnaS who is an entrepreneur. Doris thinks Mirna could do much better than her. She has so much potential. That is why she probably fell in love with Sergio. Mirna says she will think about it.

43. Doris calls Sergio to tell him everything is going well and that it looks like Mirna is not going to tell her family about the money. He wants make sure that nobody knows that he asked her for money.

44. Jero gets the group to agree to discuss the Catalina issue later. He tells Catalina and Erik not to move out and to trust him.

45. In the midst of the mess, Flavia tells Rodolfo that Julia owes him money. Since her debt is growing day by day and she is Misael's accomplice, it might be a good thing if she kept up with her payments if she doses't want more problems. All Rodolfo can say is, "excuse me"and he leaves.

46. Flavia next attacks Ester by saying that now that she has a grandson, Max isn't dedicating the time he should be to his own son Teo. They scream at each other.

47. Julia talks to the lawyer but the news is not good. Since Misael is Dany's father and since he not taking him out of the country, there is no crime. However, if she had a DIVORCE and a CUSTODY AGREEMENT it would be a different story. (DUH!) Julia blames herself for putting the divorce off. (Yup!) Chepina tells her to talk to Angel. He is her support and will help her.

48. At Angel's office, AnaS tells him that the auditor she has lined up is trustworthy. He has worked for her father a thousand times. Angel is so happy that she is taking the company's financial health so seriously.

49. Braulio arrives at Angel's office. He finds it necessary to mention that Ester is not there yet. Angel says she called him. Ana S gets call. She tells the person that they can let them come in. Braulio asks if they are expecting someone. AnaS says there are external auditors from the Ordax company who are here to audit the Funes company. Braulio looks concerned.

50. Ester tells Flavia that she is very sorry for what happened to Teo but that is not her fault and she is not going to argue with her. Flavia thinks that Ester has her grandson with her only so she can have Max support her as he never did with their son. She sees it as a way of Ester getting even with her. Ester tells her she is crazy. Flavia says that Ester is the crazy one thinking that Denis is her son. Ester slaps her.

I'm a little late to the party since I didn't watch until this morning. One thing that did occur to me is that Grace is so lonely she might give up on the revenge plot entirely in exchange for true friends, Gaby's attempt to include her is genuine but it could also be the answer to thawing her jealousy if she truly felt included.

Mac is an idiot to keep going more and more in debt but then most gambling addicts are idiots... can't wait to see how he wiggles out of getting seen by the kids. It would be nice if he got caught but I'm sure he won't.

I wonder if Karen really is leaving or if this is a ploy.

Jarifa, what a gripping installment last night was. Such heartfelt emotion, angst, and agony, hurt and betrayal, love and loathing, you captured it all magnificently.

Thank you for the breath of fresh air in the form of wry “She is all flirty in her cloying Flavia kind of way” which made me smile.

“Rodolfo wants to know why Julia never told him about the attempted rape. He should have been defending her. (Okay and even without the rape attempt he should have been defending her)”. Exactly!!

Of all the depressing (and heaven knows there were too many) events, the most baffling and upsetting was Flavia. “Teo says he knows what he did. He asks her for hug. She says after he is done cleaning”. A mother’s natural inclination should be to run to the side of her child, hugging him tightly and telling him how much she loves him. Her callous indifference to Teo who likely needed her more than any time in his young life, was heart breaking. Max leaving “without acknowledging him” was sad but not particularly surprising as it seemed he wasn’t there when Ivan needed him either.

Sweet Rayo. Teo is lucky she will be his sounding board and provide unwavering support.

“Homero says Mirna cannot bite her tongue because if she did, she would poison herself”. True, that.

I have very mixed emotions regarding Ester. I cannot imagine the loss of a child so I try hard not to judge her too harshly. But if anyone does truly know her it is Max, for better or worse. Many say that a man will marry a woman who is somewhat similar to their ex. “Flavia is now telling Max that he never did anything for them. ..He compares her to being just like Ester but what he hates about Ester is a thousand times worse in Flavia since she is so very spiteful. Both of them always have to be right and feel like they are above everyone”. While it is obvious he is right about Flavia, his words about Ester seemed fairly true. Ester does appear at times to have a self-righteous attitude although I don’t think she feels she is superior

“Flavia says that Ester is the crazy one thinking that Denis is her son”. One of the few things I can’t fault her for.

“Jero knows that Ester a good heart She is just a little mixed up now”. Huh?? ☹

Oh Jarifa, what a mess this all is! Thank you for your continued hard work and oh so valuable time.

Thanks, Jarifa, that was great. This is one of the busiest telenovelas I’ve ever watched. Each episode is jam packed and the hour flies by.

Ester might have deserved what Flavia said to her but I was quite happy when she slapped her! I feel so bad for Teo but Flavia would rather be going around annoying neighbors than comforting her son. And apparently the owner of the apartment isn’t throwing Catalina out. He left it to Flavia to decide.

Misael is well on his way to making his sweet son into a monster like he is. I hope Julia gets him back soon but the psyc seemed to imply it would be a while.

I’m glad Ester told Angel about Braulio. But it sounds like he’s going to meet with Braulio’s phony partner. I hope he does some research on him.

I love the scenes with Homero and Rayo. But Mirna is a spiteful you know what. I wondered why Doris stuck around. It looks like they might be after the company since she wants Mirna to work in her family’s business.

It’s good to see Rayo happy and loved. I hope she can help Teo.

Mati deserves prison time. I don't think she is the least bit remorseful over what she's done to Rayo and Teo. If she isn't arrested soon I'm sure there are other junior street thugs who will deal out their own kind of justice.

How can Ana Sofi know that her father's auditor is trustworthy? Is she at all aware that her father had shady dealings? I can't wait until this totally fake Barbie-wannabe bimbo is off our screens.

Flavia is just as horrible in a different way. She uses men and throws them away when they either run out of money or finally see her for what she is: a total bitch with no sense of empathy. Here she was more concerned about what she lost in the robbery than about Teo's trauma. I am worried that her persecution of Catalina will lead to tragedy. Her insults to Maximo and her obvious praise of Jeronimo showed her true character.

Esther does need a reality check, but Flavia is not the one to deliver it. I hope nobody calls her mother in on that.

Julia is too chicken to do anything about her situation now.

Mirna is a stupid, pretentious brat.

With all these seriously flawed women I guess this is why most men seem to think women are disposable.

Pardon me while I finish the last if the Chardonnay.

Flavia being so harsh to Teo is more than I can take. Does she even love him, like at all?She doesn't love herself, that's for sure, otherwise she wouldn't be trying to copy Ester. Max being so useless is annoying. He gave in to all Ester's wishes, knowing full well she is not OK. I wanted to slap him when he told her they could get the custody.He is supposedly trying because hewants to compensate for being absent, but he somehow picks exactly the wrong thing to do. He apparently also can pay attention to only one child at a time. It does make me wonder about men who have two wives or more.How do they manage it? I wish all these 'videntes' were real. I could do with some insight.
How did Mirna become the way she is? She was a shy child, but now she is very bitter and unhappy.
Misael seems to think that raising a child is a walk in the park.Neither of them is going to enjoy this time together hoever long it lasts. Didn't Chepina say something aboutchildren not really belonging to us? It was either this or some later episode. I remember thinking,'and so what?Is she supposed to comfort herself with the fact that Danny would have grown up anyway so it doesn't matter his father took him God knows where?

Awesome job, Jarifa. Goodness gracious, your recap is bursting with all the details of the incredible amount of lows and (a few) highs last night. Certainly nothing missed.

I love that Ester is on to Braulio and standing up for Catalina. She is by no means perfect, but maybe Jero's belief she'll turn around about trying to work with Cinthia is justified.

Poor Teo. This is an epic fail by Max. One could expect nothing from Flavia, but Max should know he needs to look out for his son's socioemotional needs.

I'm surprised the celebrity psychic thinks things won't resolve for Julia soon. Misael lacks the skills and patience to attend to Danny's daily needs, and I expect him to look up one of his girlfriends to get laid. I'm counting on Danny to get fedup with him and call his mom.

Estber is Stubborn and arrogant, but at least she is clever and persistent when it comes to ferreting out what that weasel Braulio is up to . She is like a dog with a bone and seems to smell this rat. Go, Esther.

Flavia , on the other hand , has no redeeming qualities .She is a busybody and a bigot. Now she is done with Max and has her squinty eyes set on hero Jero. He is doing all the work for the food truck while she barks orders ....just her type.


Don't get me started on Miserable Excuse for a Man . Real men protect and support women ....and dont have to unbutton their shirts to prove ...what ? This guy needs a bigboy anvil .
