Camino – Capitulo 74 – Part 1 of 6

Repeat of Karen kissing Falso and telling him she’s pregnant! Dani is witnessing this but is unseen by the couple and Falso celebrates the news that he’s going to have a biological child! That’s right, Karen purrs and you can leave your unhappy marriage! Falso counters that he needs the bastard for the inheritance but Karen says not so. She already told him, he can divorce dani and give up his parental rights to Isa, turning over the inheritance rights to his bio-child! Karen loves Falso so much and she will take care of him!

Dani apparently beat it outside, but she changes her mind and runs back in to confront the traditors! Karen and Falso are now apart and they each go into their normal bickering routines but Dani stops them both short saying they disgust her and their ability to act is downright sickening! She knows! She saw them, why doesn’t Falso just admit that Karen is his lover?? Falso stays silent and Dani says if he doesn’t respect her, he should at least respect Karen, the mother of his future child!

Amparo bursts into Gaby’s room just as she is putting something away and Amparo demands to know what she’s hiding! Gaby says she isn’t hiding anything, she’s just putting her stuff away, why is mom upset? Can’t she have some privacy? Amparo wants to know where Gaby got the money to pay Uncle Memo back and Gaby says from the tips from her job….what’s wrong? Amparo drops the bomb! Right before she fired her, Grace told Amparo that Gaby had been stealing from the restaurant! What?? An incredulous Gaby exclaims, I did no such thing! I am no thief! Gaby swears on what is most sacred to her, her mother herself, that she hasn’t stolen anything.

Grace runs to JP crying about how she was fired because of Gaby who just wants to hurt her because she hates her. But Grace loves JP for real, unlike Gaby, and Grace needs her job to live! Grace goes to put her head on JP’s shoulder and he should have pushed her away, but he didn’t.

Karen says there’s no reason to keep pretending since Dani obviously heard their conversation, she confirms she and Falso have been lovers for years!!! She wonders how Dani found out and says Sebas must have told her but Dani is surprised to find out Sebas knows too! She must be the last to know. Falso says no, it was the stupid trucker who opened his mouth, wasn’t it? Dani neither confirms not denies and neither Falso nor Karen are the slightest bit moved as Dani asks how they could lie to her for years. Karen says she needs a drink and Dani is appalled that she is drinking while pregnant. Dani isn’t hurt by Falso, she’s stopped loving him a long time ago; but Karen?? Karen was her best friend!!! Like a sister to her?? How could she do this? Dani is sickened by the knowledge that Karen was only pretending to be her friend.

Amparo wishes she could believe Gaby but after everything she’s done, she can’t. Gaby says I am your daughter, believe me!!! Amparo goes off on how Gaby is going down the same path as her father, talking about all the times Mac lied to, manipulated and stole from her!!! Gaby is crying and begging mom not to think this way, she isn’t like her dad, she promises. Amparo is now at the head of the bed and lunges for Gaby’s hidden photograph. Gaby breathes out Mama, no, but Amparo looks anyway. Amparo is shaken by what she sees and she cries out ‘Gaby, what does this mean?’ (Why would she have printed those pictures??)

JP is consoling Grace, do I really have to watch this? Grace goes on and on about needing a job and JP offers to talk to Amparo and Gaby about giving Grace her job back. Grace is momentarily touched by JP’s caring for her but declares she can’t work in a place where the owner and her daughter spend the whole day bugging her. JP says he’s here to see Dani but then he’ll talk more to Grace and Grace tells him that Dani isn’t here. Falso had her arrested for taking Isa without his permission, but don’t worry, Dani is already working it out. JP is off and running, he has to find Dani!

 

Camino – Capitulo 74 – Part 2 of 6

Falso says Dani has no right to say anything to him after her little fling with the trucker! Dani says not to compare her and Memo with what’s going on here. What she and Memo have is real, a deep love full of sacrifices and one which she gave up for the good of her child when she made the mistake of giving Falso another chance!!! Falso says Isa is THEIR daughter, he’s her father legally. Dani says she knows that he is unfortunately, legally, Isa’s father but their family never meant anything to him!!! Falso actually has the nerve to say things were fine between them until Memo showed up!! Dani points out Falso was cheating on her long before Memo appeared and Satan just can’t resist telling Dani the truth. He never loved her!!! NEVER!!! For 10 years he had to work hard to pretend he felt something that he never came anywhere near feeling! Karen is nearly cackling as she adds that it’s because the one he really wanted at his side was me. Falso says their marriage was like a prison and Dani says she’ll happily release him from prison. She’s getting a divorce, Falso can have the house and the money; she doesn’t care, but SHE is keeping Isa!!! She storms out saying she’s going to go get the only thing she has left in this house.

Amparo continues to lay into Gaby without letting her get a word in edgewise! Just what she needed, a child to go down this road. Gaby has disappointed her more than ever before. She is without values!! Gaby begs mom to let her explain but Amparo says we’ll talk later with your grandpa and the whole family!!! She won’t tolerate this! Amparo is crying and Gaby is sobbing.

Dani is getting some sort of paperwork and Karen enters to tell Dani she should be grateful to her!!!! Dani is going to get her quick divorce and be able to run into Memo’s arms and it never would have happened without her!!! Dani calls Karen out on being self-interested the whole time, she never cared about her or Memo she just wanted Dani out of the way so she could keep her husband. Karen says she was looking for a way to get Dani to leave everything and never imagined she would fall for a simple trucker. Dani makes it clear she was never Memo’s lover, she is nothing like Karen!! She has principles and values!! Karen says you kissed him, as far as everyone is concerned you turned yourself into a slut! Dani smacks her!!! (YES!!) But the witch slaps back!! Dani congratulates Karen on finally getting what she always wanted, her marriage is destroyed!! Karen looks pleased and Dani says you might as well have these too, she takes off her rings and hands them to a now scary looking Karen.


Este and mom are homeless now? They look homeless (except the fine clothes) as they walk the street arguing over bills and Este’s unsuccessful attempt to seduce Sebas. Este says she’s working on it and Mama says it’s not that hard, I’ve convinced 3 men to marry me!!! Este says if it’s so easy why don’t YOU do it again?! (I’ve been saying the same thing!) and Mama says, you know what? You’re right! She’ll fix this herself; she’s going to turn Eugenio into her fourth husband!!! (Not surprised, just dismayed)

Lupe tells Gaby all about her romantic date with Sebas and how one thing led to another and to her first time! Sebas didn’t pressure her at all, she was ready and he was a gentleman. Gaby is happy for Lupe and says who would have thought that of the two of us, you’d be the first to lose her virginity! Lupe is surprised and Gaby confirms that she never did it with JP. Gaby has done a remarkable job of hiding her own sadness until now but she’s crying again and she tells Lupe she fought with her mom.

 

Camino – Capitulo 74 – Part 3 of 6

Karen is ready to explode telling Dani she has no idea how much she hates her!! Falso would have chosen her as his wife if Dani hadn’t appeared in his life!!! Dani says the line of the night: ‘You’re Crazy, YOU introduced us!!!!’ LOL Karen says she regrets it so much and the day of Dani’s wedding is the same day she swore she would never let Dani be happy by his side! Dani says Karen is crazy and she isn’t going to listen to more. She stalks out but Karen isn’t done. She follows her, telling her she ruined her life marrying the love of her life and she has no idea how much she looked forward to telling her that she was pregnant with Falso’s baby!! Her!!! Remember, how I said Dani already delivered the line of the night? Well, I was wrong because Karen is dropping the BOMB now!!! She tells Dani that she caused her miscarriages!!!!!!! She wasn’t going to let Dani have his baby! Dani can’t believe what Karen is saying but she takes it in a frozen shock instead of smacking the hell out of Karen again! Karen admits to drugging Dani every time, and says she doesn’t regret it either because the only woman who is going to give Falso a child of his own blood is her! Then she SHOVES DANI DOWN THE STAIRS!!! (Sorry for so many all caps but I am shocked!) Dani falls all the way down, tumbling over and over again and Karen grabs her mid-section in pain, is she faking for the now appearing on the scene Falso’s benefit, or is this real?

Dani is unconscious and bleeding at the foot of the stairs and Falso yells asking Karen what she has done. Karen says she did him a favor, isn’t he the one who said he’d rather be widowed than divorced?

Speaking of divorce, Amparo and Mac are signing their papers again, this time with a notary. Mac looks pleased as punch and Humberto calls him a good for nothing rat who is hurting everyone including his children but he doesn’t care because he’s worthless. Mac is unmoved and just says if you’re done, I’ve got better things to do. He hands the pen to Amparo who signs for some stupid reason. They should have removed the clause from the final draft, Mac probably can’t read or at least wouldn’t read it closely.

Falso wants to know how they are going to explain the body even though they haven’t even checked her vitals. (Darcy wants to know why everyone who falls down the stairs in a novela is presumed to be dead or dying? I know a lot of people who’ve fallen down stairs IRL, they are all alive) Karen comes down stairs but is still gripping her stomach so I guess the pain is real. Falso tells her to get out of there, he’ll take care of it! She is told twice but finally leaves and Falso leans down and tells an unconscious Dani that she should know Karen isn’t the only woman he cheated on her with!!! He also slept with Isa’s birth mother!!! He tells Dani all the details and says he’s glad Olvia is dead since she too lied to him and cheated on him with Memo! He thought Isa was his daughter but no, she’s just a bastard who is going to have to look for another mother up in the stars!!! (Cold hearted Jackass!!! I can’t decide if I hope Dani is awake to hear Satan’s confession or if I hope she’s really unconscious so she won’t have to hear this crap!)

Karen leaves and JP arrives!!! Thank goodness!!! He discovers his sister and calls 911 right away, just kidding, he calls Dani’s name over and over again pointlessly first! But at least he did check her vitals and she’s alive. JP now calls 911. JP’s yelling into the phone for an ambulance brings Satan out, pretending to see Dani for the first time ever!!! Satan runs to his fallen wife and yells to JP ‘What did you do to your sister?’ This would be funny if… I can’t lie, it actually IS kind of funny. I laughed, I did. The ambulance is on the way and I’m not going to report all the sweet nothings Satan mumbled while pretending to be worried about his wife.

Isa and Chema are at the Semi races and loving every minute of it!!! Memo too is all smiles, all three are blissfully unaware of the horrors back home!

 

Camino – Capitulo 74 – Part 4 of 6

The ambulance rushes Dani to the hospital with JuanPa begging her to live!! Karen is still in pain and she receives a frantic call from Falso letting her know they are in big trouble! Dani is alive, JP found her and is taking her to the hospital. Karen thought Falso was going to take care of this, and Falso says if Dani wakes up, she could accuse Karen of attempted murder! Karen wants to know if she should come to the hospital but Falso says she shouldn’t be seen. In fact, she should hide for awhile until things calm down. Falso tells Karen to pack a bag and he’ll send Aaron to take her somewhere. He hangs up and tells Aaron he knows what to do and he better take care of Karen because he’ll respond with his life for hers. Falso says Karen is expecting his child and Aaron has just the slightest out-of-place self-satisfied smile on his face to suggest he knows something Falso doesn’t.

Lupe jumps to the right conclusion that it was probably Grace stealing from the restaurant! Gaby agrees but says what hurts is that mom preferred to believe Grace and not her! Lupe unfortunately defends Amparo and says Gaby should put herself in Amparo’s shoes, this isn’t the first time Gaby has lied (This point of view just pushes every button in me, how do you expect someone to grow and change if you throw all of their past mistakes in their face at every hint of a problem?!!) Lupe points out that Gaby refuses to say where she got the money to pay back Uncle Memo and Gaby says she’s embarrassed. Lupe says they are sisters and Gaby can tell her anything. Gaby does tell Lupe the truth and Lupe doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with Gaby modeling until she admits it was lingerie and then Lupe’s aghast. But that’s not the worst part, the worst part is that witch Este was there and took pictures, Gaby next informs her sister!!!

Dani arrives at the hospital and the doctors take her into emergency where JP can’t follow. Sebas shows up and asks how Dani is doing and what happened. JP tries to answer but he doesn’t know how Dani is and he has no idea what happened! He just found her at the bottom of the steps. JP doesn’t appear to suspect his dear brother-in-law though and guesses maybe Dani got dizzy and fell. Sebas tells his friend not to worry, Dani will wake up and she’ll be able to tell us what happened. JP asks if Sebas told Karen, she is Dani’s best friend, after all; Sebas thinks quickly and says Karen is out of town besides she’s toxic and Dani needs good energy…this doesn’t sound right to JP for good reason, but before he can question too far the Devil shows up demanding to know where his wife is! JP says the doctors are examining her and we have to wait to find out! Satan pretends that he cares and is very worried.

Karen asks for news on Dani but Aaron doesn’t have any, Aaron says they need to go but Karen’s cramping is still a problem! Aaron says she’s just nervous and she needs to relax. Karen says she doesn’t want to go to jail and Aaron assures she won’t. Karen says if Dani wakes up… Aaron interrupts and says he’ll kill her himself before she can say anything. Karen dismisses this and says Aaron shouldn’t make promises he can’t keep, he’s not a killer. Aaron says there are a lot of things Karen doesn’t know about him…

Eugenio is on his way to pick up Amparo for the weekend when Loretta shows. Eugenio is a gentleman and very welcoming. Loretta says she wants to build a house and she has the land but she needs Eugenio’s advice. She suggests dinner to talk over the project but Eugenio says that he’s in a relationship with Amparo and he doesn’t think it would be right for them to have dinner together. This is the first serious relationship he’s had since his wife and Loretta pretends to be happy for him as Eugenio confides that he is whisking Amparo away for the weekend where he plans to propose marriage!!!

 

Camino – Capitulo 74 – Part 5 of 6

Eugenio isn’t the only one oversharing, Aaron is telling all his killer past to Karen and assuring her that the first time is the hardest so he knows how she must be feeling. But Karen says she’s doesn’t feel guilt just regret; Aaron doesn’t know how much she wishes she’d killed Dani. Aaron says Dani’s hours are numbered and Karen asks if he’d really kill Dani for her? Aaron is capable of anything for Karen, he leans in for a kiss but Karen tells him she is pregnant with Falso’s child. I know, he replies that’s part of OUR PLAN!!! Karen smiles her agreement. They have a plan to make Falso lose his inheritance as their revenge since that damn inheritance is all Falso cares about! Aaron can’t wait to see his face when he discovers he’s lost everything. This time he leans in for a kiss that Karen doesn’t reject, but she isn’t exactly returning with enthusiasm either. We see the pain is still gripping Karen.

Gaby and Lupe continue to discuss the photo problem and Lupe advises Gaby to tell mom the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth! (This is good advice if Amparo will listen but so far she hasn’t demonstrated a willingness to listen to Gaby) Gaby says there’s still one thing Lupe doesn’t know. She tells her about Este and the blackmail and the ultimatum to break Lupe and Sebas up in 3 days!!! Lupe is incensed and she gives the same advice I did – go to the police!!! That’s illegal! Gaby however is worried about grandpa, JP, y mas seeing those photos. What’s worse, Lupita asks, that or letting mom continue to believe the worst? Gaby looks like Lupe’s words are getting through.

Amparo is talking with Humberto as she’s getting ready to leave with Eugenio. Humberto can tell she’s not happy. He thinks it’s because of the divorce disaster but she tells him there’s something more. Something serious is going on with one of his granddaughters. She’s going to tell him the truth about what is going on… that’s going to be pretty hard considering she doesn’t know the truth about what is going on.

More of Loretta wasting our time… do I have to listen to her? Do I have to report her BS? She wants to get to know Amparo better and suggests a dinner at her house, naïve Eugenio agrees.

Leo and Chuchita are talking about how Dani is taking too long to get back. They need to go out and Chuchita hopes Dani is okay but Leo distracts her worrying with lots of kisses.

Sebas says they should tell Chuchita what happened with Dani since she and/or Isa may worry but Satan says no, we aren’t telling anyone until we get news from the doctors! He then actually tries to dismiss JP, telling him he can leave because Satan himself will wait for news on Dani. JP of course says he’s not leaving until he finds out how his sister is!! The doctor comes and the wait is over. The doctor informs them Dani experienced trauma from the fall and there is a lot of inflammation in her brain. She is in an induced coma now and they won’t know more until the inflammation reduces and Dani wakes up. The worst case scenario is Dani could have brain damage but she could also be just fine, they can’t diagnose further until Dani is awake. Nobody’s favorite jackass says all the right dutiful husband things while turning his back and smiling at the camera.

Grace warns Yo that Mac is going to pull at fast one and disappear with all the money. Yo somehow thinks ‘her tiger’ would be incapable of this?? Thus, proving it is possible to sleep with someone for almost two decades without ever meeting them!

Isa and Chema are still enjoying the show but they notice Memo is nowhere to be seen but it looks like he has friends in the crowd watching over the kids and Memo is going to race!!! But he has to race the last year’s champ… guess who? Yep. It’s Mac!!! He arrives with his Yo knockoff, and viewerville is all set to finally find out who wins the race we’ve been watching in the opening credits for the last 74 episodes!!

 

Camino – Capitulo 74 – Part 6 of 6

Satan is all scrubbed up and entering Dani’s room… I wonder if he’s about to almost kill her? (LOL) He does just that but Dani opens her eyes and the Devil is spooked.

Aaron arrives at Sandra’s house and is unhappy to find his sis. She says she was careful and no one has seen her but he’s pissed. They start arguing and Karen tries to intervene. Sandra says Aaron is incapable of carrying out Falso’s orders and Aaron gets his gun out and points it right in her face challenging that belief. Karen, still clearly in pain, tries to speak up again but Aaron tells her not to interfere and turns back to sis. I mean I know men are supposedly dense but can he really not see that Karen is having a little medical issue? Perhaps let Sandra check her out before shooting her?

The nurse comes to get Falso to sign some papers so I guess he’ll have to try to kill her again later.

Isa and Mac have their pre-game sh*t talking session and if they get much more heated, they will probably fight for real before they can race. They shouldn’t though, because poor Chema is watching. Of course, Chema and Isa are excited because their dads are going to race each other and they are too young and innocent to know anything else. A little of Chema’s innocence probably dies as Mac shamelessly kisses whoever girlfriend #3 is, for luck right in front of the crowd! But to be fair, he probably doesn’t know Chema is there. Chema wanted daddy to win at first but now he’s firmly on team Uncle Memo! Isa comforts him as best as she can.

Humberto proves Amparo got her think/say the absolute worst first and ask questions later parenting technique from him, by lighting into Gaby in a rant that is nearly word for word what Gaby heard from her mother. Both Amparo and Humberto are at the table with Gaby and at least they let her talk this time – not until after they tell her she has no shame and is just like her father but they finally let her speak. Gaby says she didn’t want to tell them the truth because she was embarrassed but Lupita convinced her it’s better than letting them think the worst. She admits she got a job as a model in a fashion show but when she got there, she realized she would be modeling intimate apparel.

More of brother and sister talking about what a cold-blooded killer Aaron is but how he isn’t capable of killing his own sister, while ignoring the clearly in agony Karen behind them. (Not that I feel sorry for Karen, not one bit; but one’s a nurse and the other supposedly loves her) Aaron finally puts the gun away and Karen gets an earful about how they stole Oliva’s baby, ruined her life, and Falso ordered Aaron to kill Sandra… I can’t remember if Karen already knows all of this. Karen thinks it’s good Sandy’s there so she won’t be alone and Aaron explains Karen has to stay hidden for a couple days. Sis asks if Falso ordered her killed too! LOL

The race is starting, Isa is excited, Chema is crying. The announcer is saying all the hype stuff announcers say, Memo and Mac stare each other down and then the flag is waved. The trucks take off, the crowd goes wild and we fade to promos of the next episode before the drivers get to the finish line!!! BOO! I guess we won’t be finding out who wins the opening credits race until tomorrow.

Darcy, throughout your amazing recap of this near death, emotionally devastating and physically destructive episode, you never faltered; you told the truth; the whole truth. You powered through all of the betrayal, grief, malice, and cruelty to craft a spellbinding summary that mirrored every hurt, every outrage and every tear.

You managed to add just the right touch of wry wisdom including “Este and mom are homeless now? They look homeless (except the fine clothes)” and “…she’s going to turn Eugenio into her fourth husband!!! (Not surprised, just dismayed)”.

The verbal atrocities Fausto and Karen assaulted Daniela with were numbing and devastating. Karen crowing that she caused Daniela’s miscarriages and Fausto scathingly declaring he never loved Daniela were impossible to hear. But their standing side by side, hellish smiles and hatred blazing from their eyes seemed the most egregious hurt.

Dani’s fall and head wound looked all too real and very painful. I hated Fausto leaving her there, bleeding on the stairs. How hateful can a human being get??

“A now scary looking Karen” was indeed just that as her face transformed in ghoulish fashion. And Aaron’s “…slightest out-of-place self-satisfied smile” was demonic. When Karen told him she is pregnant with Fausto’s child, he states “I know…that’s part of OUR PLAN!!!” I think Karen abandoned that plan some time ago and that she is all in for Fausto, everything aside. We shall see.

Thank heavens Lupita was thinking clearly! Gaby’s predicament will (hopefully) be laid out fully and accurately and Amparo will help find a solution rather than hammer an already distraught Gaby further into the ground.

Memo and Daniela’s relationship aside, she is Isa’s mother. Is there some reason JuanPa didn’t call Memo right away?

Poor Chema; my heart aches for him. “A little of Chema’s innocence probably dies as Mac shamelessly kisses whoever girlfriend #3 is, for luck right in front of the crowd! “could not have been stated any better.

Will Memo’s Prince Charming be able to rouse Princess Daniela with a kiss? We can only hope.

Thanks Diana, it was definitely a jaw dropping episode!! I was shocked that Karen admitted to causing the miscarriages but then when I realized she intended to kill Dani it made more sense. And you are right, that scene looked so realistic!!!

I'm amazed that Mark Tacher can still make me laugh. The character is pure evil but he still manages to find his moment and get his line in. He's a good actor.

I'm sure my opinion is clear in the recap but I hate how Amparo treats Gaby. It's like she takes out all her unresolved feelings about Mac's years of lies on Gaby and then to see Humberto do the same was maddening! Like you said, 'Thank heavens, Lupita was thinking clearly' because no one else was and someone needed to be the voice of reason before the whole family condemned Gaby without so much as hearing what happened. Sure Gaby contributed by not being forth coming with information but she didn't deserve the level of accusation that was thrown at her simply because she didn't want to say where she got her money. Get more information FIRST and then decide if your daughter is a shameless, drifting, lying manipulator like her father later!

Darcy, ......I am at a loss for words ....thanks....wow....yikes. What a sharp turn this show made last night after the moments of joy we got on Wednesday's episode.

Great work, Darcy. You captured all the madness, nuances, and pain of this episode.

Karen looks like an apparition from a Mexican horror film; think La Llorona. Even her teeth looked like she just stepped out of a grave. What an image to see just as you're falling down those stairs. What is bothering me now is there is just enough room for an amnesia story.

Karen should be worried about the possibility that she is having a miscarriage. That would be poetic justice, indeed.

As to Fausto's plan about the theft of Isabella's inheritance, it would not surprise me if that involved him killing her.

Lola should be in that race unless there is a separate women's division. That lady can really kick ass.

More later; need to prep the recap for Perdona.

How could no one show not even bat an eye while a pregnant woman battles stomach cramps all night??? Especially considering she ‘needs’ that baby for whichever plan it is she is actually following!!!

I don't think Aaron knows the whole or even the real plan. While he is the one of this evil triumvirate who has the most self-control and self-awareness, the others' crazy makes prediction difficult. Both of them seriously believe they are far superior than everyone they are hurting.

Thanks Darcy, that was fantastic. Even though I knew most of what was going on your recap was a page turner, if I was turning pages instead of scrolling!

Fausto and Karen were pure evil in this. I had to think of Fausto doing that silly dance at Isa’s party to remind myself he’s probably a nice man in real life. Karen having no regrets was sickening. I hope Dani remembers everything but who knows how long we’ll have to wait! How do they compare Dani kissing Memo to a decade long affair.

I was very disappointed in Amparo. How awful to compare Gabby to the good-for-nothing she married. I hope she can give her daughter some comfort and help tonight.

Grace has her father pegged. If he gets the money they won’t be a part of it. There’s a new girl in town! I wonder how long she’s been around. I’m guessing it’s pretty recent. I hope Chemo tells his mom and Grace overhears.

Fausto tried to kill Dani in the hospital. Will he try again or will it be Aaron. And I’m totally confused about which plan Karen and Aaron are going by. Is she with Fausto or working against him. Which is a mute point as I’m pretty sure she’s losing the baby.

I’m thinking Loretta is going to try and sabetoge(sorry for spelling) the relationship between Eugenio and Amparo. I sure hope they call the police about the pictures! Ready to see the bad guys start getting caught. There’s so many they have to start soon!

Well, the wry comments and observations are already flying!

"Get more information FIRST and then decide if your daughter is a shameless, drifting, lying manipulator like her father later!" Oh my Darcy, exactly! Amparo's misdirected anger was painful, especially as Gaby had already dissolved in tears, clearly in emotional pain. She needed a tender hug, gentle questioning. Not a verbal assault of unfounded accusations! Ack.

I have to give Mark his props too Darcy. I sense there is sometimes a smile beneath his surly countenance. After he did the twist at Isa's party, I am a newly converted fan.

"Karen should be worried about the possibility that she is having a miscarriage. That would be poetic justice, indeed". Yes, very Urban. I couldn't believe Karen didn't go to the hospital as something is very wrong. I guess breaking Daniela's heart and unethusiastic lip locking with Aaron were her priority.

"Lola should be in that race unless there is a separate women's division. That lady can really kick ass" made me laugh Urban. Excellent and very true.

"What a sharp turn this show made last night after the moments of joy we got on Wednesday's episode". It was Susanlynn. When it seems too good to be true...

I can't imagine what will happen tonight but there is no warm and fuzzy feeeling...

Karen is surely having a miscarriage . Those cramps start suddenly without warning . She is a narcissist , so she probably can't believe anything bad can happen to her.

I am confused about these plans . Why didn't Fausto marry Cruel Karen (Cruelen) when he learned about his father's conditions in his will? Why did he marry Dani? Both he and Karen have gone over the edge ...bonkers. Does Karen know that Fausto is responsible for the plane crash that killed her mother and his father ? I think there is in way these two will survive. Maybe the fool Aaron whom they have both been playing will snap and kill them both. Adios.

From Fausto's and Karen's diabolical acts to hoping for poetic justice for Karen--I agree with it all.

Amparo does overreact with Gaby doesn't she? But Gaby has been messing up and lying about so much ever since the beginning. I'll give Amparo a break only because she always tends to soften with time.

A very funny recap. I haven't laughed at something like that for a while. But me perdí un capitulo? Seriously, when did Aron and Karen decide to destroy Fausto? I can't believe that Karen refuses to wake up. When she was in pain, Fausto just told her to get out! He didn't ask her about the child he supposedly needs so much even when he called about the whole mess. I have no patience for such women. Despite their social class differences, Yolanda and Karen are alike in their stupidity when it comes to men. The funny thing is that both of them could do better.
I cannot stand it when Amparo starts lecturing Gabi. Even when Gabi got into uni, one of her family members just said let's hope you don't drop out or something similar. They don't seem to have any faith in her. It's true Gabi has disappointed them, but isn't the point of this tn that a united and supportive family helps you overcome all odds? What kind of support is constant doubt and lecturing? Are all Mexican mothers like Amparo even now? There are these strange parts in these telenovelas where a mother says something that is messed-up on some level or something she should actually not have said but it's the son/daughter that is supposed to be the bad one somehow.
How does Karen come to the conclusion that it's all Daniela's fault? I still want an answer to the question why Fausto didn't marry Karen. But I have a feeling I won't get one.
How exactly do they film thosefall down the stairs scenes?

Elsa insisted that Armando apologize to Estela. He ordered her to go to her room. They argued, ending with him telling her that her parents' issues are none of her business. Estela asked her to, then said to Armando that this will be the last time he will talk to her this way.

Lamberto and Angelo argued about their issues ending with her ordering him out of the bedroom. “Never again do I want you in my bed.”

Elena declined sex again, saying that she couldn't do it in her parents' house. Gerardo pointed out that there was nothing wrong in this; they were married. She pushed him away, as this was now Strike 3. She asked why all men think of nothing but sex. He tried to explain that it's normal for newlyweds to have sex. She said she knew that and he asked why she resisted having sex with him. She kissed him rather then answer him verbally but when he moved closer and started kissing her neck she looked as though she'd rather be vacuuming the floor.

Andres wrote to Elsa (in a notebook?) saying he has been unable to stop thinking about her. He had tried to call but suspected that her father had taken away her phone to prevent this. He will write about his feelings ever day. His accommodations are comfortable enough and he has a job.

Angela threw Lamberto's clothes out of the master bedroom and yelled her nonsense at him. He called her crazy, she answered by telling him she hated him and then closed the door. Aurora came out of her room, saying he deserved this and still bitching about Andres.

Andres had a female visitor – Remedios – who also lived in the pensión. She invited him to join her for dinner at an inexpensive place nearby. He agreed and got his jacket.

Elsa talked to Flor about the arguments between her parents, the isolated prison, her fears, and was caught by Armando. He told her to stop looking for allies because nobody will help her. She is going into the internado because it was his decision and that is that.

The next morning as she brushed her hair it was obvious Elena did not enjoy the previous night's sex. She evaded answering his question in the “Was it good for you, too?” conversation, finally refusing to talk about it. He didn't press the issue, saying he was going to work.

Elsa was still disturbed by her parents' argument. Estela said that was over. Elsa told her mother she wished she was with someone who treated her better. That she deserved to be treated like a queen. “Are there men like that?” Estela asked. Elsa told her there were and that Andres treated her like that. Estela still told her not to hope for the impossible and that she will not leave Armando. They hugged and Elsa left for school.

Andres called Antonia to tell her he was alright. His pay was low but at least he was employed. He asked if she knew anything about Elsa and she said she didn't, nor would she lie about this. E explained that he could not reach her on the phone and was getting the “out of service” message every time. She assured hi that if she knew anything she would tell him.

Angela took dictation in Armando's office [This seems antiquated in this day and age, but then again, so do other things,] At completion she tried coming onto him; he rejected her just in time before Estela entered. Angela said that she was there for damage control over the previous night's party that ended badly. Renzo came in to talk to Armando about something important. Estela was looking for Angela so the two women went into her office. Estela started questioning Angela again about the mystery man. Angela said she couldn't remember what she said as she had been drinking. Estela said that sometimes the truth comes out that way. Further, that she had said that the man was married, had kids, and was someone she knew. Angela began looking nervous. “Was it like that?” Estela asked. Angela tried to make a joke then changed the subject to “dinner tonight.” Estela said yes and left. Angela took a deep breath and slunk back into her chair.

Elsa told Meche about the previous evening's argument with her father. She decided that her father didn't love her. Meche was shocked, never having known an example of this. She said she would ask her father if she could go with her to Chihuahua so she would not feel alone. [Now that's a true friend.] Elsa said that would be madness.

Lamberto and Silvia talked about the end of his marriage. He wanted to be with Silvia. She said it was unlikely to succeed because “we come from two different worlds.” They agreed to talk about it the next day at her place.

Angela had a flask in her vanity drawer. She had just closed it when Aurora entered. Angela was messing with her hair when Aurora asked her about whether she and Lamberto were separating. She told her “No. Nothing's going on; we just have separate bedrooms.” She then encouraged Aurora to fix herself up and change for dinner. As soon as her daughter was out the door Angela took a long draw of the flask.

Armando tried to kiss Estela, but she pulled away. They had a somewhat civilized conversation about Elsa with Estela pointing out obliquely that she is not their only problem. Neither wanted to argue as they had dressed for dinner and shortly would be on their way.

They went to a family dinner at the Monteros. Three couples with marriages on the rocks at various stages at the same table, none of whom willing to admit the truth to the others. Lamberto played the perfect host, remembering everyone's drink preferences. Angela surprised him with a request for mineral water. She encouraged them to sit down while she helped Lamberto serve. As she walked away both Estela and Armando watched her, both probably thinking that she had not actually qiuit drinking.

Antonia counted out money to send to Andres. Silvia said she would add some.

Gerardo made a toast to their families. Estela toasted “all the happy years of her marriage” mentioning that Armando was the best husband. [She may have been looking for a reaction from Angela], and then Hector arrived. Armando made a remark about family reunion and Lamberto said he and Hector were old friends so he invited him. Hector requested a whiskey. As he and Lamberto went to the liquor cabinet both Armando and Angela looked uncomfortable.

Guillermina ate with Padre Reynaldo who did not like the idea of Elsa entering that school. He confirmed that the mother superior was Madre Ruth who was overly strict as those this were the Middle Ages. Gillermina said she found no other option.

Hector talked about his upcoming political campaign and what he wanted to accomplish if elected. He was looking for better conditions and services for all women, including education and a better medical center. Armando did not like what he said, saying that this would not help the town. Estela said that better cancer treatment would save many lives. Armando accused Hector of making this promise to get more votes. Hector said he intended to deliver on this because he cares about the people. Armando called him a novice in politics and said that his business experience doesn't mean he knows anything about the political process.

Estela put her hand on Armando's and tried to pause his comments. Hector said not to worry; he knows the people well and knows what they need. Also, he knows the social climbers who made the best marriages to acquire fortunes. Armando apologized to Angela, saying something was making him sick, thereby making an excuse to leave. He told Estela they were leaving but she insisted upon staying, as did Elsa. Armando looked at Gerardo and Elena, both of whom looked back at him and said nothing. Armando said he would seen them at home and left. Aurora tried to excuse herself. Elena tried to gt up but Gerardo prevented her doing so. He looked mildly angry.

Hector left politely after coffee. Elsa told her mother she was proud of her standing up to Armando. Elena was annoyed that her mother had shamed her father. Elsa told Elena off, telling her that their mother should not be regarded as being beneath their father. Elena got seriously unpleasant about this and finally accused her mother of making a scene in her in-laws' home. Elsa said sarcastically that “Of course, this was all about embarrassing Armando Quiroga”.

Gerardo had gotten up sometime during this and returned saying that Hector offered to drive them home. Estela was ready to leave and told the girls to get their jackets and purses. Elena asked him why he didn't call a cab. He said “Why? Hector made a nice offer.” Estela noticed that Angela was no longer at the table.

She was in another room, talking to Armando on her cell phone. He was ranting about Hector. She was saying this was very strange especially since Estela seemed to encourage it. She asked him if he suspected that they were involved. He said no, but was interrupted.

Elsa was in the doorway and overheard Angela's half of this conversation. Estela found Angela just as Flor told Armando the padre came to the Quiroga house. Armando ended the call, saying they would talk the next day. Estela said her goodbyes and complimented the meal. Angela nervously said she was upset at what happened; Estela blamed Armando for provoking the unpleasantness. Elsa gave Angela the side eye as they left the room.

Padre Reynaldo Armando that he did not think this school was good for Elsa. That the Mother Superior at this school had outdated ideas and ways and was a very strict disciplinarian. Armando insisted that la niña was rebellious and needed discipline.

Antonia called Andres who told her not to worry; he was alright. He didn't need her to send any money.

Lamberto and Angela disagreed over his having invited Hector. She asked why he invited him knowing that Armando did not support his ideas. He answered that it was his house and he ould invite anyone he wanted. They argued about this. She forbade him to invite Hector again. More class prejudice bullshit later she accused Lamberto of being useless because he could lose his job. He left the room.

Hector drove Estela and the rest of her family home. Upon arrival Gerardo and the girls went inside first, leaving Estela in the car with Hector, who wanted to talk to her.

Armando gave the padre his final comment: Elsa would go into that school and this was a done deal. This was a family matter. Elsa came in, greeted her father, and went upstairs. Elena kissed Armando and told him Estela was outside talking to Hector. He hightailed it out.

Hector was telling Estela that this situation could have gotten much worse. Estela was working at imposing limits but Hector was still worried. He further told her that if Armando tries to diminish her again she should let him know. Estela said she didn't think that would be necessary, but her tone was almost doubtful. Hector looked as though he knew this would not be the end. That was when Armando opened the shotgun side door and pulled Estela out. The two men exchanged angry words, Armando hit Hector who then hit back. Estela yelled at them, then went inside with Armando.

Estela was alright except for Armando's behaviour that evening. Elsa hesitated, then told her that she was certain that her father had been boinking Angela. Estela started to cry as she realized the possibility. She told Elsa to say nothing about this for the moment.

Armando accused Estela of making a fool of him and this did not get better. He accused her of having been impressed with his fancy cars and money. He had gone on about this when they got engaged. She did have the last word which was “I am your wife, but I am not your slave. My conscience is clear.”

The following morning Gerardo could not persuade Elena into some post-sunrise nooky. She said she didn't think of sex all the time like he did. [WTF is wrong with her?] He was annoyed, telling her to think of another excuse as he left the room.

Aurora told her mother she was going to meet Carlos and go to the movies. She did not approve, saying that he wasn't good enough for her. Aurora told her that he came from a richer family better than themselves. Angela said that she married into a family she thought was better than her own and look what happened. She didn't want the same thing to happen to her. Lamberto said she should not talk to him as though he were invisible. Angela replied that to her he was invisible and to Aurora that the Moraleses were badly raised. She blamed Hector for the disaster of the night before. Lamberto told her not to interfere in their daughter's relationship with Carlos. That it seemed her only priority was to avoid offending Armando. She claimed she only cared about her daughter. Aurora stopped eating and scolded her parents for their constant arguing. “That's the only thing I hear in this house!” She left the table.

Lamberto took Angela's water glass and sniffed it, confirming his suspicion that she was still imbibing. She said “There's one more thing I'm ashamed of: That I married you.” Lamberto left the table, saying nothing.

Meche tried talking to Guillermina about going to the boarding school with Elsa. The woman said she would do so only if her father requested it. She told her that it was alright with her father but Guillermina would not comply and turned her out of her office. She looked incredulous as she closed the door.

Armando went to Hector's office to order him to stay away from Estela. Hector reminded him that he and Estela had been friends since childhood. He had hoped that Armando had changed since then but could see that he had not. He also said “I've known others with delusions of grandeur. I have not forgotten where you came from. Why do you hate Andres Martinez?” Armando told him to be very careful. Hector asked whether he denies his own mother who once upon a time worked for his (Hector's) cousins. “How small is the world, isn't it?” He could not see how Armando won Estela. “Although it weighs on you I am her husband, the father of her children. and the richest and most influential man in San Juan. I do not have to argue with a widower whom no decent woman takes seriously.” Hector replied that “Estela doesn't know the sort of man you are, but I will open her eyes.” Armando gave him a look, the hint of a warning, and left. Hector shook his head with a short laugh and took a sip of his morning coffee.

Elsa took her leave of Aurora, who was curiously polite to the girl who advised her to forgive her father for his long silence. Aurora told her not to worry and wished her well. She hugged her and walked away. Aurora's face was at first a “Whatever”, then confused.

Guillermina called Armando about Meche and this situation made him angry. He told her not to allow that under any circumstance.

Andrews tutored his boss on spreadsheets displayed on a very outdated monitor, explaining the record-keeping process.

A dead body turned up.

With each successive episode, I’m more confused as to how and why Gerardo and Elena are together. She physically recoils at his touch and the thought of their lovemaking seems to repulse her. Further, she was obviously going to leave the dinner party in defense of her father but Gerardo stopped her. None of this bodes well for the newlyweds.

Elena’s marital strife aside, she is so, so unlikeable. She and Elsa could not be further apart : “Elsa told her mother she was proud of her standing up to Armando. Elena was annoyed that her mother had shamed her father”. Aurora is a pill as well.

“I am your wife, but I am not your slave. My conscience is clear.” Perhaps Estela is not quite the doormat we initially suspected. I like that Elsa is standing up and telling her mother the truth. Angela doesn’t seem smart enough to be able to waylay Estela’s suspicions, but…

The bright spot for me is Hector. Strong, unfazed and unafraid, I could listen to his dulcet tones and deep laugh every day. He certainly raised a lovely daughter in Meche.

It has fascinated me since the outset that Fausto didn't marry Karen back in the day. My best guess as to Why Not is that he can't control her. He is all about control and Daniela was easier to control or she had already inherited whatever her parents had. Karen worked for her father and still does so she only would have had a good paycheck. Whatever money she had in the bank or in investments would have been a fraction vs her dad's assets.

Karen's plan to have a baby probably didn't occur to her until she spent X months in Europe. She did her homework on this although I am not sure that her lawyer told her the whole truth vis a vis Mexican inheritance law. The situation presented is fairly unique but it is possible that if the adoption of Isabela is proven to have been illegal then her inheritance will go to charity unless Karen actually has a baby. That is looking less and less likely now.

Amparo should see a lawyer about how Macario made her sign the divorce papers under duress. Gaby should talk to the police about those photos. Whoever keeps the books at the restaurant needs to go back as far as Grace's first or second day there to look for the discrepancies. There is no way that place would have been losing money if customer traffic is the same and the same amount of food is being prepared.

"This seems antiquated in this day and age, but then again, so do other things" ITA on this one. The only people I know that still take dictation are court reporters on their machines. Most of the novelas that take place in these strong-man run towns seem to suffer from that same problem to one degree or another. That being said the Chilean novela with this was based on ran from 2017-2018. Anyway, those "antiquated aspects" are distracting.

Héctor might have answered my question indirectly to who owns the company that Armando runs with his comment that so upset Armando." . . . he (Héctor) knows the social climbers who made the best marriages to acquire fortune." Is the company Estela's?? I keep asking the question and they better give me the answer already. : (

I like Héctor because he knows how to get under Armando's skin and does it.

So, what is Elena's problem that she is adverse to sex?

It looks like Andrés could ben n his way to a promotion at work if he can keep the books better than the business owner.

Waterlily, you didn’t miss an episode last night was a big reveal that Aaron and Karen had agreed to their own revenge plan. It hasn’t been mentioned before. Although as others have said not sure Karen’s heart is actually in that plan with Aaron…

When the dust settles, I hope Amparo realizes that if Grace lied about Gaby stealing then Grace must be the thief.

I got a kick out the actress playing Macario's side chick. I think it was Martha Julia in a dark wig. She usually plays classy but wicked. She was anything but classy last night.

Eugenio, you tell Estefania's mom you're going to propose to Amparo? Really? I hope Amparo doesn't have a target on her back.

I have a clearer understanding of who Hector is thanks to you. So...he and Estela have known each other since childhood , and he knows that Armando is a social climber who married Estela for her family's money and business. I also now have sorted out that Carlos and Meche are his kids. I am so happy to see the amazing Cesar cast as a good guy. That wonderful, deep voice is magical.


So, i guess Elena hadn't moved the sofa with guaypo Gerardo before last night . Surprising .

Looks like Andres is impressing his boss with his mad computer skilz and will soon be promoted to an office job.

I was on the fence about Guillermina, but now I'm sure that I don't like her. If Meche wants to attend the boarding school, that's her and her dad's business. Guillermina is such a lackey to tell Armando.

I'm glad Elsa told Estella what she overheard between her dad and Angela, but Estella (understandably) doesn't seem ready to confront her husband and BFF yet.

Surely Elena knew that sex would be a part of her married life. I know friends of friends who got divorced a week after the wedding. Gerardo needs to do the same.

Elena... this is an interesting mystery. I wonder whether this article applies.

We know that she didn't go to any school like the one Elsa will be shanghaied to; Estela would not have stood for that and I'm sure Elena appeared to be a real Goody Two Shoes as a child. However since stories like this typically uncover lots of ugly secrets I am dreading the possibility that she was sexually assaulted by somebody close to her family... or someone who worked for Armando.

I didn't expect the corpse to appear this early in the story. Such things usually take about 20 episodes or so.

Armando deserves his own post.

I said earlier that Armando is likely to have been a high-achieving scholarship student who earned the boss's favor. By the time he was hired he had probably upgraded his look, his manners, and his speech. He may even have changed his name. Estela's father probably only looked for chutzpah, intelligence, good ideas, and good follow-through. Neither Estela nor Hector has mentioned any siblings so I am assuming that Estela was an only child. Maybe her father also was, hence no male heir. That would have inclined him to look among his male employees for a suitable husband for Estela who would be an effective CEO in future.

Just like Ernesto in Te Doy la Vida.

He is still insecure despite his success, hence his fear of being outed as one not to the manor born.

CAMINO Ep 75 Part 1

The race is on! And Memo puts the pedal to the medal and whizzes past Mac for a WIN!! Isa jumps up and down as Chema pouts and cries.

Gabi feels like a heavy weight has been lifted off of her. Humberto advises that she is young; she is discovering her freedom and that she can make decisions about what she can do…and there are times when she will do good things that may appear bad, as in this case. Gaby swears she won’t do it again and she won’t remain quiet if something does happen. Amparo is glad Gaby took her sister’s advice. Gaby assures that they won’t be getting any more complaints about her. She then tells Amparo that it was good that she ran Grace off because Grace was most likely the one who stole the money…because she is a thief; she stole Gaby’s boyfriend!

JP is with Dani telling her that she cannot leave him…and Isa needs her too. Dani moves her hand but JP doesn't notice.

In the waiting area, Sebas can’t believe Fausto is there when they both know he doesn’t care one bit about Dani…he should go far away to the Amazon! Sebas would really like to tear into Fausto’s face for making Karen his lover. Fausto starts to deny it, but Sebas tells him that Karen already admitted that they have been deceiving Dani for many years!

Karen tells Aaron to go to Fausto and make sure Dani doesn’t open her mouth! Sandra questions why Dani is in the hospital, but Aaron hisses that is not her problem! After Aaron leaves, Sandra feels sorry for Karen if she marries her brother since no one can stand him!

Sebas continues chastising Fausto for taking advantage of his sister since she does love him! Karen hopes that he one day leave Daniela and take Karen more seriously. Fausto tells Sebas not to worry about his sister; they have already talked about the divorce and Fausto is considering making a new life with his sister. Sebas knows that Karen wants to have his child, but what makes him sick is the way they are lying and doing things! Sebas then tells Fausto to leave since JP is there and he will take care of things. Fausto rebuts that despite whatever problems they have, Dani is his daughter’s mother…he will not leave her alone! As they argue, JP approaches and asks why they are arguing.

Sandra asks a moaning Karen if she is alright. Karen replies that she will be okay; she is having severe cramps and they should pass in a while. When Sandra tells her that she is a nurse and might be able to help, Karen shared that she does have some doubts so she asks if it is normal to have bleeding during a pregnancy. Sandra explains that there is “ normal” bleeding and asks if there are clots. Karen replies that there were some earlier, but it’s getting better. After Karen tells Sandra that she isn’t too far along, Sandra tells her that she may have had a miscarriage. Que?!

Mac is with his new squeeze complaining about Memo and saying that he is much better. As they have their hands all over each other, Chema approaches and asks who the woman is?! The woman asks who the child is and when Chema tells her he is Mac’s son, the woman slaps him and berates him since he never mentioned being married, much less having a son! After she slaps him and stomps off, Chema cries that he doesn’t want to talk to him…Mac is a liar! Max scolds him for talking to him like that, but Chema continues that Mac told his mother that he only loved her and that he wasn’t going out with someone else! (I hope Chema doesn’t get a sore throat!) Mac tries to explain but Chema screams that he doesn’t want him to explain anything!! …and Chema runs to Memo who hugs him.

 

CAMINO Ep 75 Part 2

Fausto lies and tells JP that they were arguing about business matters. After Sebas leaves, JP hopes Dani wakes up so she can tell them what happened. When Fausto tells him that it’s obvio that Dani tripped and fell down the stairs, JP has his doubts. When JP mentions that it’s good that Memo took Isa, Fausto hisses that the trailero has no right to be taking his daughter without his permission!! JP argues that the trailero is the best thing that has happened to Dani and his niece! Dani deserves to be happy and that will not happen if she remains with Fausto. To JP’s misfortune, DisGrace shows up and is all over him as she asks how his sister is…and Fausto looks on in disbelief (one of the few times I enjoy and agree with his look!).

Karen whispers that she cannot lose the baby while Sandra goes to the door to receive a delivery…of a pregnancy test. Sandra explains to Karen that she shouldn’t rely too much on the pregnancy test since it may still come out positive…it would be best to go to a lab. After Karen wonders why this happened to her, Sandra explains that stress can affect the embryo…and due to Karen’s age, she is more at risk.


Loreta complains about Eugenio’s internet in Amparo. When Este asks why my she invited them to dinner, Loreta explains that Eugenio is their only hope to get out of this misery.…and she won’t ask him for a loan because she doesn’t just want a bit of his money…she wants it all!! Este then asks where she will get the money for the extravagant dinner, so Loreta replies that they will sell Este’s car! Que?!

Grace is still all over JP so he asks her to go get him some coffee. After she leaves, Fausto comments that he has gone from bad to worse! JP tells him to mind his own business.

Lupita shows up to talk to Este!

Karen’s test must have been negative because Sandra expresses her regrets. When Karen tells her that she can try again…and that Fausto was the sperm donor, Sandra tells her not to allow him to do the same to her…she will only be another of his victims…and when the baby is born, he will take it away and do away with her forever. Karen assumes that she is talking about “that woman” and asks if Olivia was Fausto’s victim.

Aaron assures Fausto that Karen is in a secure place and nothing will happen to her. Fausto tells him it’s time for his next task—Dani can not make it through the night!

Memo and the kids have returned. Isa tells Gaby about her father Memo being the champion…while Chema cries that he saw his father with another woman. Just then, JP arrives and asks to talk to Memo alone. Once alone, JP tells Memo that Dani is in the hospital and in a coma.

Lupita tells Este that she knows what she is up to…and what she is planning is a crime! Lupita assures Este that Gaby will never do anything against her because they have been taught to be loyal to each other. When Lupita adds that there is nothing Este can do to separate her and Sebas because they are now one thanks to their love, Este (correctly) guesses that they have slept together (TMI Lupita!).

JP explains to Memo how he found Dani…and he called an ambulance. Memo asks if Fausto hurt Dani, but JP doesn’t think so because Fausto was in his office and became distraught when he saw Dani.

Sandra spills ALL the beans about Fausto and Olivia while unknowingly being recorded by Karen! (Not going into detail since we all know the horrible story...)

Lupita threatens to call Sebas so he can ask Este to erase the photos. Este finally agrees to delete the photos but first manages to send them to JP!

Sandra continues to spill the beans about how she was “forced “ to tell Olivia that her baby was born dead. Days later, with Aaron’s help, they set up Olivia and she ended up in prison. Karen curses Fausto who will do whatever to get what he wants! Sandra continues that Olivia then got sick and had no will to live…she lost her battle with cancer and didn’t even have a chance to give her baby at least one kiss.

 

CAMINO Ep 75 Part 3

Isa is ready for bed and asks Memofor her mother. Memo tells her that he will be going to see her mother. Chema jumps in and Isa asks that Memo stay until they fall asleep.

Gaby sees that JP looks upset. He tells her that Este sent him some pictures and asks what this means. Gaby tells him about the job she got…and knows he must be thinking the worst of her. JP tells her exactly what he thinks—he wishes he could have been there because she looked beautiful! Passionate kisses ensue until Gaby pushes JP away and tells him she is still hurting and can’t forget what he and Grace did.

Max tells Monica that he is going to the Palomo concert where Leo will sing his new song. After Max leaves, Monica calls someone for a favor (uh-oh!)

Sandra advises Karen that she will need to rest and not strain herself. Sandra is happy that Karen stayed with her...since she was feeling lonely. Karen comments that she felt a connection between them (proceed with caution, Sandra!). Sandra thanks Karen for listening; it was good to have someone to talk to about what is happening to her…Karen has no idea what it is like to have someone want you dead; Fausto gets rid of whoever obstructs his path. Sandra then tells Karen that Fausto had Aaron kill the doctor…and now the only ones who know what happened with Olivia are she and Aaron. If they were to talk, they would destroy Fausto. Karen then gets a call from Fausto who tells her that Dani is in a coma. When he asks how she is, Karen retorts that she won’t be able to be calm until Dani is dead! Karen then tells Fausto that she lost the baby and seethes when she hears Fausto say that if she can’t give him a child, she will have to forget all their plans!

JP asks what he has to do so that Gaby will forgive him. He knows he said he didn’t want to go back to her, but he was wrong. He thinks about her all the time…and misses her so much; he needs her. Gaby tells him that it is now she who needs time now; she doesn’t know if she can trust him. JP swears that Grace took advantage of his drunken stupor. Gaby points out that he always drinks water, why did he drink that night! JP replies that they went to celebrate his nomination to the Olympics but he felt sad because she wasn’t there. Gaby isn’t sure that they can overcome this…but the important thing now is his sister who needs him. After she adds that despite everything, he can count on her, Memo enters and asks Gaby to look after the children so he and JP can leave.

Concert time!!! Leo is introduced and sings his song as Chuchita stands and cheers.

Amparo and Eugenio are now at the cabin where they agree that the weekend will only be about the two of them. Kisses and I love yous are exchanged!

After the crowd applauds and yells for another song, Leo starts singing the song Monica stole from him. And lo and behold! Monica is on stage and joins him! Chuchita's smile turns upside down! After they finish, Monica plants a big kiss on Leo…which excites the audience even more…except for Chuchita who is looking very jealous and upset!

Memo and JP arrive at the hospital. After Fausto chides JP for bringing the trailero to the hospital, Memo points out that Dani asked him for a divorce…and this happened when she went to talk to him which is very suspicious! Fausto retorts that he was in his office when it happened. JP interjects that Dani will tell them what happened when she wakes up. Memo tries to go see Dani but Fausto stops him since he is still Dani’s husband! Memo steadfastly tells him that Dani is the woman he loves and Fausto won’t keep him from being with her when she needs him!

Memo sits beside Dani telling her she can’t give up after all they have been through to be together. She has to fight...for Isa and for the promise of the love they will share for the rest of their lives.
 

CAMINO Ep 75 Part 4

Amparo and Eugenio now sit together drinking wine. When she apologizes for mentioning her failed marriage, Eugenio reminds her that they are to share everything. She then asks that he tell her about his travels, but Eugenio would rather talk about the travels they will have together. Soft tender kisses lead to their own lovescapade with only the sound of a warm fire crackling in the fireplace!

Leo is distraught and reminds Monica-tastrophy that he has a novio. Monica points out that the audience went wild and the media won’t stop talking about this. Max comes in and congratulates Leo for his song and assures him that this is the beginning of his career. Max then tells them that the media is waiting to ask if there is a romance. Leo tries to dissuade them but they insist that this will be good publicity for him and for his career.

Fausto is upset that Memo has asked to stay the night with Dani. Memo reminds Fausto that he and Dani are separated and Dani is the mother of his daughter so he IS staying there!

Monica announces that she and Leo are a couple as Leo stands beside her looking ambivalent and hesitant as Monica forces some kisses on him…and Chuchita painfully watches and walks away.

Next morning, Isa asks Chuchita if something is wrong since her father and mother are not there. Chuchita explains that Dani hit her head but she will get better just like Isa go better when she hit her head. She then takes Isa to a small altar where Isa prays to the Virgen for her mother.

Eugenio wakes up with a smile and a good morning for Amparo who has been watching him. Amparo is completely in love with him and Eugenio loves her with all his heart.

Leo asks about Dani but Chuchita doesn't know much. When Gaby told her what happened last night, she was so nervous that her knees almost buckled...and she spent all night crying. She quickly adds that she was only crying for Dani! Leo tells her not to feel down since Dani is a very strong woman and has two good reasons to fight for her life--her daughter and Memo's love. Chuchita wants to go to the hospital, and when Leo offers to take her, she refuses and sternly tells him she can go on her own! Leo wants to talk, but Chuchita wonders what he wants to talk about--the big kiss he and Monica gave each other or the big news that they are the couple of the year!

Lupita and Gaby watch Isa and Chema who are sitting and crying at a table in the restaurant. Chema cries as he asks Isa not to be sad. Isa cries that she is afraid that something bad will happen to her mother...she doesn;t want to lose her mother. Lupita and Gaby then go to comfort Isa telling her that they love her and that her mother will get better. they then go light a candle for Dani.

Leo and Chuchita continue to argue--Leo justifies the lies about his relationship with Monica...and Chuchita wonders if he wants to be known for his talent and his songs...or for all the gossip!

Dani wakes up! Memo quickly goes to her and gives God thanks that she woke up. Dani asks where she is so he tells her that she is in the hospital. After she complains that her head hurts, Memo tells her that he will go tell the doctor that she woke up. He then adds, "All will be well, my love!"

The body popping up was a surprise. And both daughters know about Angela. It seems a little early for all this. I wonder why everything’s out in the open so early!

Rgv Chick, one of your many talents is your exceptional ability to explain and illuminate everything from the lightest of moments to those of deepest, darkest despair. Tonight’s gamut of emotions ran from one end of the spectrum to the other, from great joy to great pain and you covered them all masterfully.

Karen had been in pain for quite some time and while realizing the pregnancy was in jeopardy, until I read your summary, had not understood she miscarried. I know she is heartless but had thought the loss would trigger some tears at the minimum. Nor did I understand “Karen then tells Fausto that she lost the baby and seethes when she hears Fausto say that if she can’t give him a child, she will have to forget all their plans!” So, the baby meant nothing to her. Icy, cold cruelty.

I am relieved Daniela is coming out of the coma, especially as Memo is at her bedside. I suspect something will surely go wrong (we’re still too far from the end) so I’m holding my breath as to what that might be.

Loved Lupita showing up and standing up for Gaby. She has really matured and it’s gratifying seeing that her love has fueled her strength and resolve. While relieved Amparo and Humberto finally supported Gaby, I’m deducting points for Amparo’s overly harsh, unsupportive, and unkind initial reaction.

“DisGrace shows up and is all over him…and Fausto looks on in disbelief” (one of the few times I enjoy and agree with his look!)” had me smiling away. “Fausto comments that he has gone from bad to worse” was exactly right.

I thought Amparo and Eugenio’s “lovescapade” (love that Rgv Chick) was tender and romantic.

When JP and Gaby were alone and he ran to her, passionately kissing her, it felt “off” to me. It seemed as though the pictures were a turn on and he emanated more lust than love. But in the next second, everything seemed to go back to normal.

“Monica-tastrophy” is in it for the long haul and has no intention of being second fiddle. Unless she backs off (unlikely) it will likely be necessary for Leo to choose between Lupita and music.

I am assuming edible gold leaf and Bluefin tuna are on the menu? I did a search for some of the most expensive food because of course I had no idea and they are the first ones that popped up 😊.

I missed Karen recording Sandra. How did I not notice that-that’s something you don’t need Spanish to see! I, naturally, don’t trust Karen and wonder what, if anything, she’ll do to Sandra. I think she knows Sandra is hiding from Fausto, I hope she keeps quiet about that. She seemed unmoved by what Fausto did to Olivia. I would be thinking I would have the same future in store for me. Karen is overly confident of Fausto’s love for her. I don’t think either one is capable of loving someone. I wonder how Karen will react when she finds out Fausto was behind her mother’s death.

I don’t think Leo has to go along with Monica and Max’s plan. If he’s good enough he can have a wife and be a singing sensation.

Mac’s new honey must have higher standards than Yolanda. She beat it out of there when she realized he had a wife and kid. He didn’t even have time to say he was divorced!

Selling a car to prepare a dinner seems a little over the top! And I don’t think Amparo and Eugenio will fall for any story or sneakiness that Loreta can dish out. They both know what Estefania is like.

I was so proud of Lupita showing up at Este’s and telling her off.

I sure hope the real Grace will be revealed soon

Fantastic Rgv Chick!! Every bit of the emotion and drama so expertly captured and as Diana so aptly put it, illuminated by your eagle eye! I too loved the look Falso gave DisGraceful!! That was priceless!

I feel like Uni may have done JP a disservice with their cuts, there were multiple scenes - as you shared - they got cut that actually showed JP upset over his breakup. But because they were cut what we saw was just indifference so it makes it harder to believe he suffered the same as broken hearted Gaby, but I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and believe that his attempt to get Gaby back now is genuine. He's had a lot of major life shakeups lately - first he finally earns his dream, then it must be jarring to wake up with no memory of the night before and be led to believe you did something so uncharacteristic and to face the consequences for that action, and then to walk into your former home and find your sister on the stairs the way he found Dani.....I could see how he would be reeling and we all want to run into the arms of the one we love when life is scary.

I hope Chema doesn't get a sore throat too! l love the little actor but I hate listening to him scream like that, I think his coach coached him a little too far in the yelling department!

I don't know what to say about Karen, miscarriages are sad but that woman does NOT need to be a mother and Satan definitely doesn't need another young life to terrorize!!!

I am so disappointed girlfriend #3 is gone!!!! I was really looking forward to the Yo and #3 showoff!!! :(

I have discovered that I get complete episodes On Demand while the broadcast is missing a few short scenes to make room for more ads. Spectrum is my cable company and there are no ads in the On Demand showings. I will be catching up to Perdona later today.

This was an incredible episode with lots of insanity, most of it Satan's and Countess Dracula's. I do think Aaron is tired of playing Renfield.

Not sure who has drawn more wrath from Karen now, but the recording of that conversation will somehow be useful. If Karen really wants to destroy Fausto she can do it now. Sandra has nothing to be blackmailed for although we don't know how much she was paid to help deliver Isabella and lie about her having been stillborn. She definitely could go to prison for that but she could plea bargain for testimony against Fausto.

However, I don't think it will come to that. I predict that Fausto and Karen will somehow kill each other.

Poor Chema for having to see what slutty women have his father's attention. However, poor us because now there is no reason for Marisol and Yolanda to have a catfight.

Daniela woke up, but does she have amnesia?

Monicatastrophe is the type that gets her kicks breaking up relationships. The big problem here is that Leo will not be willing to drag out the masquerade for long because it hurts Chuchita and because he has principles. There are probably not enough episodes left to do this but when he puts his foot down about this Monicatastrophe is likely to tell the public that she broke off the relationship because he abused her, which we know would be a lie. She is the cold-blooded version of Estefania and Grace and much more intelligent than the both of them together.

Lupita was my hero last night. She got straight to the point as usual. So did Chuchita, but (understandably) she was crying.

Still mad at Amparo about Gaby, but she and Eugenio certainly were due a "lovescapade" [Rgv Chick, you always coin just the right term]. Wondering how in blazes Estefania's mom expects a fancy dinner to woo Eugenio. Will she try to snob Amparo with her lack of knowledge of the finer things? Who cares?

JP and Gaby belong together, but he is so stoopid about Grace. I need him to show me he's got a brain. JP also made me ill buying that Fausto was in his study when Dani fell.

If Chema's screaming hurt my ears, I can only imagine how much his throat must have been sore! LOL But it was good that he finally got his eyes opened about his father, YAY for that!

I too was hoping that Yo would find out about Sol...I am still baffled as to what these women see in Mac the Rat!

Lupita did rock last night! She is smart and getting gutsy, but a bit loose on the mouth. I can't see why she would hint that she and Sebas had been "together." Definitely wrong person to share that with!

Count me in as hoping for no amnesia. the writers gave no indication at the end since Dani had no reaction to the "mi amor."

I loved Mark Tacher's look when he saw DisGrace! I think he would really do well in a comedy...has he ever done one? I remember he came out in "Papa a Toda Madre" but he was still a villain...though I will never forget him and Sebastian Rulli dancing in their boxers!!

Rgv Chick, Mark Tacher was good with Jaime Camil in the TN comedy Que Pobres Tan Ricos. I couldn't keep up with this TN regularly, but whenever I saw those two in a scene together, they made me laugh.

Karen is stone cold . Perhaps Aaron will grow tired Of being the pingpong ball that Fausto and Karen slam back and forth and kill them both....maybe it is pickle ball.

I noticed that there were huge windows in Eugenio and Amp's love nest ( fishbowl) , and when they awoke in the afterglow, i was afraid that the maneater's face might be pressed against the glass peeping in at them .

So mom is selling Este's car to finance the dinner party intended to snare Eugenio! Really?

I like sweet Juanpa , but the sweater over the shoulders annoys me . It makes him look like a spoiled rich boy. We know that he and Gaby are destined to be together .

Just learned a new mantra... " Kind thoughts ...kind words....kind heart. " This motto applies to several characters in this story . We need the better to balance the bitter.

Flagrante Delicto: Just the Facts Edition
Part 1 of 3

Meche asked Hector to help her get into that Magdalene torture chamber so that Elsa would not be alone when she will already be too far away from her family. Hector said he was proud of her for b being the good person she is but he would prefer her not to go. He would miss her and she would be at what amounted to the ends of the earth. The school had a bad reputation and it got cold there. She said that didn't matter. Hector sighed then told her he would speak to Guillermina. [Author's Note: This chamber of Purgatory is located in the town of Creel, population 5,000.]

Gerardo went to the shore where Commandante Fuentes gave him the known details, mentioning that the corpse appeared to be a murder victim and had been shot in the chest. There was no identification on the body.

Sofie ran after Elsa as she took her bicycle for a morning ride. She had to assure her little sister she was not trying to run away. She was just going to take her leave of a friend. Sofie promised not to tell anyone. Similar conversation with Flor, who was just entering.

The secretary stopped Angela on her in to sign some documents. As Angela read and signed the radio news talked about finding a dead body, a possible murder. The newsreader said they would keep updating the public.

Apparently Gerardo is a doctor. He told the Fuentes that they needed to send the body to Alcocer which had a better forensics department. The cop agreed and Armando arrived to enquire about the news story. The cop told him “Apparently San Juan isn't as peaceful as we thought.” He went on to tell Armando that they had no information because there was no identification on the body. Armando played it as cool as a Mafia don.

Elsa visited Antonia at her job, got her update on Andres, and explained that her father took away her cell phone so she had no means of contacting Andres, Antonia handed her cell phone to her but Andres didn't answer. Antonia said not to worry. Elsa said she wanted no record of any attempt to call Andres. She intended to search for him after getting out of that school. Antonia looked concerned as Elsa left.

Remedios and her sister talked about Andres.

Guillermina told Hector that this was a crazy idea on a whim, this can't happen as fast as he thinks, and warned him he was using up all his favors with her.

Silvia didn't like her job because guests were asking all manner of personal questions that were none of their business. Lamberto told her that he was still under the same roof as Angela but in separate bedrooms. She would not enter a relationship with him until he was actually divorced.

Armando looked for Elsa, threatening to fire Flor if he could not find her. Elsa arrived and told him she had been at the storage unit for her suitcase. He harshly ordered her to be ready to leave at eight in the morning. His tone of voice made her say to Flor that she was sure her father didn't love her. Flor did not want to believe this, saying “He does, in his way. He means this for your own good.” [Okay, Flor, now try to convince us.] Elsa said that her only happiness is knowing that Andres loved her.

Remedios was obviously looking to change this, who asked him out to the movies. He accepted.

Elsa wrote in her diary, saying she would look for him as soon as she was out of the internado.

Antonia and Silvia has the same conversation as before about Lamberto.

Andres shared popcorn with Remedios at a horror movie.

Hector told Meche he got her into that school. She was happy and wanted to start packing; he told her it was unlikely to be immediately.

Arturo Olmos was identified as the murder victim. Fuentes said they needed to find his office and get his client records.

Andres and Remedios walked home from the theatre, talking about the film. He put his jacket over her bare shoulders.

The next morning Elsa was saying goodbye to her family. The doorbell rang and Meche arrived to tell her she was going there with her. Armando did not look happy about this bur had no opportunity to say anything, as Angela showed up to kiss Elsa goodbye. Elsa looked at her just barely showing disgust.

The family stepped out of the house. Everyone hugging Elsa except Elena. Gerardo asked her why she didn't and she answered “What for? I wish she would go away forever.” Estela cried. Elsa made her promise not to knuckle under to Armando, who then said it was time to leave. He opened the car door and told her she would thank him one day. She told him that she hoped one day he would regret this.

While Armando tried to comfort his younger children Angela went up to Estela to commiserate. Elena smiled wickedly at this scene and made a sarcastic remark about this. Gerardo looked shocked and said something to her. Armando got in and drove off.

Meche arrived a few minutes late at school. The teacher was a bit cold but began writing on the board as Meche exchanged a few words with Aurora, who asked if she was crazy when Meche told her she would be going to the same school.

Angela looked up from her computer when the secretary told her that the dead body was identified as Arturo Olmos. [Please note the perfect match of her fake white nails to her feral eyes.] He was known to have investigated many suspected adulteries. Angela flashed back to her first sight of the photos and the subsequent conversation with Armando. She shut down and closed her computer before leaving her office to see Armando. He did not admit to killing the man. She panicked about the photos and he told her he had destroyed them all. He told her they had enough to worry about that was more important than her hysteria. Elena entered without knocking and Armando went into business mode, telling Angela her mistake was nothing to get her out of his office. She got up and left.

Elena was nervous about possibly appearing on Olmos' client list. Armando told her not to worry about it; just to deny it. She seemed to calm down.

Estela cried while paying the bills. Flor tried to talk her down from this depression.

Lamberto talked to Antonia about the usual issues. Gerardo came in to attend to a patient with a stomach problem. Lamberto explained his divorce plans and Gerardo was not surprised. However it was complicated because of Aurora's outbursts. They went to take lunch together.

Andres and Antonia spoke. She explained why Elsa had not called him, etc. He was relieved.

Angela was more nervous than before. Armando told her to take a chill pill, then answered his phone. It was Estela telling him that the police had arrived at their home. He got up saying he would be right there. He told Angela.

Flagrante Delicto: Just the Facts Edition
Part 3 of 3

Estela let Fuentes and the other detective enter, saying that her husband would be right home. Fuentes told her that they were there to see Elena. She sent Flor upstairs to get her. She claimed to never have heard of Arturo Olmos. Was about to repeat herself when Armando arrived. He told them that if they felt they needed to interrogate Elena they needed a summons. Which Fentes had in his inner pocket. Elena had to report to the station at 4PM. The detectives left, Armando told his brat he would escort her to this, and she left his office. Angela called to ask how this went. She was more nervous than ever. He told her the bare facts and told her to stop worrying about this just as Estela came in behind him. He said he would see her at 6PM, as usual, after this and ended the call.

Estela asked what was going on and Armando said “Nothing.” She could not understand this in view of the police visit to talk to Elena. “You know how she is; these things affect her.”

Elena sat in her room and had to face Gerardo's questions. When she did not answer he obviously got suspicious. She got hysterical as usual. He knew about the dead body and asked whether the police were around about the accident. She started yelling at him and demanded to be left alone. He told her “Not until you tell me why the police want a statement from you.” He said he would accompany her there; she said her father would. “Then you will have both of us.”

Estela followed Angela.

Both Armando and Gerardo kept their word. Fuentes told them that everyone else on the client list complied without issues except Elena. Gerardo asked what this was all about and Fuentes revealed phone company records of the calls. Elena got nervous and then confessed to Gerardo that she hired Olmos to investigate whether he had another woman. Gerardo was shocked, as she had previously denied ever calling the man. Gerardo asked why because he never gave her a reason to suspect him. She fired back about him working too many hours. Fuentes asked about whether she ever met with Olmos and she said it was only once, to tell him she no longer needed his servics because she had no reason to doubt him. She started crying on his shoulder. Armando – who had heretofore had been out of control of this situation – adjusted his expression as he watched Fuentes watching Elena.

Elsa was watching a couple kissing in the airport lounge as her flight was called. The man standing nearby had been paid by Armando to insure that she got on that flight. He followed her to the luggage check and watched as she entered the boarding area.

Gerardo was silent as he drove Elena home. He shut her up when she tried repeating the whine about suspecting he was cheating on her. He didn't want to hear any of this. She restarted her crocodile tears.

Elsa remained hidden as Armando pulled up to his usual space by the Nooky Cabin. Angela's car was already there. When he entered Angela kissed him, which he did not reciprocate. He pushed her back, tried explaining that this detective had many enemies. He denied having killed the man and asked how she could claim to love him if also thinking ill of him. She said she didn't; she wanted to be with him and take care of him.

That was what it took to provoke his hormonal overload. Estela had gotten closer to the window and she saw them kissing. The door had been left open and she sneaked in, but did not remove her high heels despite the bare floor. The two adulterers didn't seem to hear her as she entered the bedroom and caught them in flagrante delicto.

Sorry this is so late.

So now we know that Gerardo is a doctor, therefore a major catch. My he ditch Elena by the end of the story and get someone who appreciates him. I think he never really knew her before this very sterile marriage.

I also think Elsa will end up in this prison for longer than she thinks and Madre Ruth will punish severely for even the tiniest infraction.

Estela should have taken off he shoes and taken photos rather than deliberately barging in to embarrass them.

Urban, I laughed out loud at "[Please note the perfect match of her fake white nails to her feral eyes.]" Your recap was fantastic.

Events here are transpiring at lightening speed. I was surprised Elena walked in on Armando and Angela so quickly as suspicions about cheating usually last for most of the novela; not discovered "in the flesh" (sorry couldn't help it) so quickly. Now what will she do about it?

I had no idea what Gerado did but a doctor may have been part of the allure for Elena who seems to not be physically attracted to him at all. Which, is of course crazy as he is a dreamboat. I don't know why he married her, not only is she cold but is dismissive about everyone other than her father. His wheels are hopefully turning.

"Elsa said that her only happiness is knowing that Andres loved her". Andres has done nothing wrong but she better hurry up and talk with him one way or the other.

More Hector please...

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how the "Magdalene torture chamber" [powerful description, Urban] and who will play the head nun (I'm picturing Nurse Ratched). I sure hope Meche gets there in time to help out Elsa.

I haven't noticed Remedios before. It seems she and Andres haven't shared their histories.

I was shocked myself that Estela found Armando and Angela, so I can see her being so blown away that she can't think straight and just acted on emotion. But is it possible that this is not real but a nightmare?

Poor Gerardo. But that was quick thinking by Elena to say she hired the P.I. on him. In a back-handed way, maybe he'll think she is into sex with him if she's jealous enough to hire a P.I.

Thanks Urban, that was excellent. I didn’t think they’d find the body so quickly. Also didn’t think Estela would catch them so soon. Thought both would happen in last weeks!

I was also surprised to hear Geraldo was a doctor. I didn’t expect that. It takes years of schooling and he’s younger than Andres! I bet he’s starting to regret his marriage, it’s almost like it was an arranged marriage as he just seems to be realizing what his wife is like.

The policeman said everyone else cooperated, that should make them suspicious of Elena. And to protect her father she makes it seem she didn’t trust her husband. Father and daughter have a strange relationship.

I agree that Estella should have taken pictures. Then walked in on them. Because I want the cheaters to be caught and rendered speechless!

When Elsa said her only happiness is knowing Andre loved her red flags went up! Remedios seems very nice but Andre should have told her he had a girlfriend. He’s lived in his hometown and I don’t think he has much real life experience.

I have always loved Cesar, who plays Hector. But someone said they were happy to see him playing a good guy but I’ve never seen him play a bad guy. I can’t imagine him being evil. While Armando seems born to play evil.

Thanks, Urban, for your recap and research. Pop. 5,000? Not good. Too bad Elsa could not escape before getting to the school. It can’t be a direct flight. But even if she did, I doubt she could survive until finding Andrés. ITA it could be a rough time for Elsa up there. I wonder if Meche will ever make it up there or if Armando will shut that down on the boarding school end now that he knows about it.

Diana, “More Héctor, please . . .” Yes!!!! I loved that the makeup department gave Armando a fat lip in this episode after his fist fight with Héctor.

Niecie, “I am picturing Nurse Ratched.” It wouldn’t surprise me with what we know so far.

As I watched Estela spying on her hubby and BFF, I was thinking that Erika Buenfil reminded me of Jessica Fletcher in the old “Murder She Wrote.”

Elena is a snake in the grass. I wonder how she hid her true self from Gerardo but in all honesty she was making her classist and cruel comments even before they were married. I was surprised that he still married her after hearing how hateful she was. I doubt a divorce would even be possible now with Armando hovering around.

I think that most novelas being produced these days are faster-paced to stop the exodus of viewers with seriously short attention spans or very limited patience. Considering the number of characters we have here I think the writers are running on speed to get them all onstage as fast as possible. I have been told that names in the same family often are like in the Quiroga family, but I can't understand why. It creates so much confusion.

Pop 5000? Not good. You bet! My former best friend lives in a place that small. Creel will have very little to offer. It may also be riddled with poverty if the location is bad. Police corruption will be worse than in bigger cities. Elsa's and Meche's social class might make them targets of the entire student body and the nuns that runs this place. I am picturing the Mother Superior as being as cruel as Sister Bridget in The Magdalene Sisters although she may have less social polish to cover it up. I highly recommend that film.

Elsa may be tough in San Juan (Pop 73,000) but she will not be ready for what's ahead. Here is hoping Padre Reynaldo knows somebody else in Creel who can inform him of what's going on.

Elena is indeed a viper. If she was conceived on her parents' honeymoon she would now be 23 years old and probably very resentful when Elsa came along. She ight have an Electra complex. Whether it's that or anything else I hope this place has a shrink or two.

So is Gerardo Doogie Howser? Could he have started school earlier and/or skipped a grade?

Finally, about the actors...

Cesar Evora has played his share of toxic fathers in at least the past 25 years. If he were an opera singer he would be playing gods, kings. wizards, and.... the Devil. It's all in the voice. If you want to see him as a protagonist go to Vix.com and watch El Privilegio de Amar. That series was made in 1998. Five years later he was the toxic father of Jorge Salinas (Armando) in Mariaa de la Noche, also on Vix. We are used to seeing JS as very resourceful heroes with excellent skills in ah... more personal activities.
