Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 64 – Part 1 of 4

Mari is once again looking at her fake engagement ring and thinking of her almost marriage. She flashes back to Jesus’s proposal. She cries and tells herself she has to forget him.

Carloca lays things on thick with her worry about Jesus and how she’d die without him. Jesus asks Carloca about her doctor’s appointment and says he wants to go to. If it’s about his child, he wants to be there for it all. They say goodnight and Carloca refers to Jesus as her almost husband, which is exactly the label Mari used in her far less happy remembrance.

Next, Mari remembers grandma giving her the necklace to forget her love and be happy. She clutches her necklace and swears she’s going to overcome this; she’s Mariluz Garcia and her happiness will only depend on her not some guy.

Mica is telling off her iron, lol. She ends up bringing it on Valero and they do their little flirting dance. Valero agrees to fix the iron for her and for free because it’s her, but Mica says he’s all talk and probably says that to everyone just like the others. Her example is Jesus who broke Mari’s heart but Valero says Jesus is suffering too because he loves Mari. Valero convinces Mica that he truly cares about her and it’s back to flirting.

Las Garcia’s eat and chat and the ladies are thrilled to see Mari happy but Lupe ruins the light movement by harping on Mari working for Augi again and saying she should quit especially now that people are bombing the place! Mari says no; besides she thinks Augi knows who it was and will report them.

Augi is giving Fede instructions on running down every lead to find out who is most against his campaign and who may have done this. He needs to find them now and teach them that no one messes with Augusto Luis Montalvo and lives to talk about it!!! (I’m just amazed that he doesn’t seem to think the brother’s Sanchez did it, he thinks they do everything else – which brings up another question, who did bomb Augi???)

The guys are at the table discussing the bomb and saying that Augi will surely move heaven and earth to find out who did it. D. Abel says that’s if he doesn’t know already, that man has eyes and ears everywhere and that’s how he ends up knowing everything. Damian points out Augi isn’t the only one who seems to have contacts everywhere and it was clear yesterday that Jesus knew the bomb squad guys, Jesus plays dumb but Sam agrees with Damian. Jesus is still mum leading Damian to question if Jesus was really not going to tell them anything?? He says Jesus knows everything about them but they know almost nothing about him! Jesus says the only thing he did while they were separated was look for a way to reconcile them and for a way to get justice for dad! There’s nothing else they need to know. Right? He confirms with d. Abel who agrees that it’s true. These two share a knowing look.

Mari comes in to say goodbye to grandma and finds her looking for things she can potentially sell to get money since they can’t open the restaurant. They discuss something that is missing and Mari says Jesus offered to have a friend take care of it but with everything that’s going on she forgot to follow-up, she will today. Next, Mari asks if grandma happened to have a picture of Lisardo but she doesn’t. Mari is curious what happened to those boys and Conchita says they were split up between different families after their dad died since they didn’t have their mom there to take care of them.

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 64 – Part 2 of 4

The boys are talking about Damian’s trip back to see mama and Jesus warns Damian to be careful, Augi could have left someone behind watching for him. He tells him to establish himself in town as Damian Guerrero this time just in case. Sam wants to know if it’s far away and he says it’s just a few hours. Damian takes a moment and thanks Sam for what he did yesterday for Domi, it was very brave, he admits. Sam said he did it for Damian too, because he and Domi love each other, he did it for them both. Damian hugs Sam and Jesus says that’s exactly right. That we are together and united and that is the most important thing, we can’t let a woman or anything else come between us! Jesus tells his brothers he loves them and they say they love him too! Group hug ensues.

Domi flashes back to Sam pushing her out of the car. In her flashback she remembers Sam saying he did it so she and Damian could be happy together forever. (I don’t think Friday’s broadcast showed this detail) Domi is looking very uncomfortable and restless. She looks out the window but is she looking for Damian or Sam? Damian is outside and Domi shuts the window and retreats back into the room.

The rest of the Montalvo family is sitting down to breakfast and Augi doesn’t understand why the sudden appearance of bombs would make Vicky nervous! LOL Domi joins the fam and after a few comments about Domi’s welfare – some sincere and others sarcastic from Carlota – Vicky takes advantage of the opportunity to ask Domi to help her encourage Augi to cancel his campaign! At first, it’s just Vicky talking but she soon has all three girls saying they are worried about daddy. The pressure doesn’t work though, Augi says security will be increased but he’s not renouncing his campaign for anything.

Laura is still hanging around and still gazing longingly at Adrian. Unfortunately, the professor gives her the perfect in. He asks Adrian to stay a minute after class and tells him that although he did very well on his placement exam his school work isn’t up the snuff. He has to bring his grades up by the next test or he’ll be expelled! (That was fast, isn’t it like day 6 of school?) Laura pounces of course and tells Adrian he better take advantage of his opportunity and not ruin his future over a girl like Emma.

Speaking of Em, she’s eating lunch alone while the mean girls look on. Rodrigo slithers up to Emma and asks what’s up. Emma isn’t too interested in talking to him but he gives her his best ‘why you should be an alcoholic’ speech and hands her a flask, Em only hesitates for a minute then takes a swig. Emma might be a good and sweet person but she clearly isn’t bright both because she knows drinking is bad for her and because she’s accepting a drink from a punk that she knows has drugged her in the past!!!

Adrian tells Laura that Emma has problems like anyone else but Laura counters that instead of trying to solve her problems Emma is constantly looking for more problems. What’s more, Laura says if I had a guy like you in love with me, I’d never look at another guy! Laura tells Adrian to decide for himself and then says the offer to study together is still good if he wants. Adrian doesn’t know if he wants to study together or not but he does have another question: Where can he go to get a DNA test done?

Fede is going off on his building security over the break-in at his place. He doesn’t know when exactly it happened but it’s their job to keep track of who is going into and out of the building, that’s what they are paid for! Search your security footage he orders, because I want the footage of the guy breaking into my apartment and I want it NOW!!

Now drunk Emma and Rod are being obnoxious in class and throwing paper balls at other students, they giggle away while the teacher writes on the blackboard. Renata tries to take a picture of Emma but Rod snatches her phone and tells her not to even think about it, Emma is under his protection now. Big sigh..

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 64 – Part 3 of 4

Mari is now thinking dreamily about Lisardo which is almost different than Jesus, but not quite of course. Jesus is also thinking of Mari – telling him about her childhood crush on Lisardo. Mica comes to bring Mari tea and when distracted Mari doesn’t even hear her Mica concludes she must be thinking of Jesus, but Mari says nope, I was thinking about a different guy – little does she know! Mica immediately says tell me everything and Mari tells her all about her childhood boyfriend and how they both left the Finca and never saw each other again. Jesus enters during this conversation and seems somewhat charmed by the idea that Mari is distracting herself from thinking about him by thinking about… well, him. Mari tells Mica she is going to find Lisardo, she doesn’t know how but she’s going to find him or her name isn’t Mariluz Garcia!

Elisa and Santi arrive at the hotel where Damian/Lisardo stayed during the exhibit. The receptionist remembers Damian well and she is able to describe him to Elisa. She goes on and on and it’s clear she was very impressed! LOL She of course describes the eating a Mango with a knife moment and as Elisa realizes it may have been one of the knives Octavio used to make; we see Damian stopped somewhere eating a mango with a knife! Oh, Damian was outside the same house!!! And of course, he leaves right before Santi and Elisa come out!!! Elisa is sure she’s found Lisardo, and she’s wrong but in the ballpark. That ghost of Lisardo is causing all sorts of wrong impressions today.

Emma shows up drunk and still drinking to practice dance with the crew. She quickly falls of course, no one notices she’s drunk at first and Belen just tells her to shape up because the competition is soon.

Laura went with Adrian to drop off the DNA test materials and she wants to know what is going on. Adrian says he isn’t too sure himself, but he thinks he might have just found the man who is his biological father.

Belen is now looking closely at Emma and notices she smells like alcohol and asks if she’s drunk. Emma tries to talk her way out of it but Belen isn’t convinced…. dancing continues reluctantly.

Carloca and Jesus get the first ultrasound of ‘their’ baby. Jesus is in love with what he sees on that screen. Augi and the psych Doc talk about Carloca, her meds, and the danger to the baby. They can’t tell until the pregnancy is more advanced whether or not the meds may have affected the baby but for now the heartbeat is strong and the baby seems fine.

Lupe shows up to her dinner with Villalba and he starts talking of course, but he lets Lupe talk too, well she gets a few words in anyway. They discuss the happenings of days past and manage to work it out until they are all smiles and ready for dinner.

Em somehow made it through dance practice and the gang needs to get back to the orphanage but they don’t want to leave Emma alone in the skate park. She convinces them to go ahead because her driver is on the way and is almost there to pick her up. Left alone, she sits and waits and continues to drink. I hope someone is actually coming…

Villa serves the wine and talks and talks and talks – half of it is an explanation of the wine and the rest is a toast?? LOL Lupe loves the wine and she apologizes for talking to Villa the way she did the other day. They good naturedly argue about whether or not Lupe needs to apologize and talk about fighting for love. The wine keeps flowing!

Domi and Mari meet and talk about yesterday and Domi brings up how Mari must be suffering because of Jesus and Carloca and the baby. Domi suggests dating someone else and Mari tells her the now making the rounds story of Prince Lisardo! Domi is very excited and thinks Mari should call him but Mari doesn’t have the number of course. Domi then has an idea, put an ad in the newspaper!!! You can get his attention and then he’ll come looking for you!

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 64 – Part 4 of 4

Sam is practicing boxing with Valero – because boxing and wrestling are the same thing – but they are disturbing Adrian who is trying to study. Valero and Sam try to downplay but Adrian heard their talk about winning and making money so he knows enough now. Sam tells him he doesn’t want his brothers to know as he wants to surprise them and Adrian agrees to keep the secret! So now it’s a Valero-Sam-Adrian secret and they cheer!

Fede tells Augi he talked to his contact and they will have the list of suspects in the morning. Next Augi wants to talk about Lupe. Who is enjoying her wine with Villa a lot. They are talking and laughing and joking… I don’t know what they are talking about but Lupe seems to be understanding him better with the assistance of alcohol. The date is going well.

Valero and Jesus are chatting and Jesus gets an alert. Apparently, Jesus wrote a program that alerts him anytime someone searches (or posts?) the name Octavio or Lisardo Sanchez. Jesus finds an ad under the site ‘re-encuentros’ (or let’s meet again) and finds the message that someone is looking for the son of Octavio Sanchez, Lisardo. He seems disturbed and should be thinking back to the one who was looking for Lisardo earlier today instead.

Now drunk Lupe is admitting more of her feelings for Villa and he’s feeling hopeful and trying to convince her they belong together. Lupe is still looking shy and reluctant but a little more open. They kiss! I guess this is exciting but damn Augi is watching!!!

Valero is back to coaching boxing, he’s pulling double duty tonight apparently. Sam is tired and he wants to stop but Valero is trying to encourage him to keep going. Briana arrives and Valero leaves to go get coffee. Briana approaches Sam with a smile and he tells her it’s not good what she’s doing. Briana says she doesn’t know what he’s talking about but Sam tells her that she does. Domi is her friend and she loves her a lot, Briana should leave Damian alone, he’s with Domi and they love each other. Speaking of Domi, she too arrives and is wondering what Briana is doing there! Is she flirting with Sam? But Sam and Briana say no. Briana says she heard about the bomb and she just came by to congratulate the hero. She loves brave men! Domi says she definitely is flirting and no, not Sam! Sam is the most noble person Domi has ever met and Briana only ever wants a man for one night, so not him, please! Domi tells Sam they need to work on something for the project later and then leaves.

Briana suggests Domi is jealous but Sam says no, she just worries about me. Briana asks if Sam thinks she’s dangerous and he says yes has two boyfriends! Briana says sure but there’s nothing wrong with that. We can still have fun when we are together! It’s called an open relationship, want to try it?? Briana kisses him and he lets her!!! Her victory only lasts a moment though cuz Selena arrives and throws a fit!!! She throws the viper off of Sam and goes after her like a crazy lady saying Sam is hers and Briana is a little slut who needs to stay away from him!!! Sam has to hold her back (I love Selena in this moment!)

Em is still drinking alone and no one was coming but a dude shows up with a gun. Emma faints and the guy just goes to rob her instead of giving her medical attention of course! Luckily Adrian is arriving late to meet Gus, he’s leaving a voice mail all about missing him at the park when he sees Em and runs the robber off by making him believe he already called the police (but Emma’s bag goes with the thug). Adrian tries in vain to wake up Emma and we fade to black…

Darcy, thanks for a very detailed recap of a fairly mid tempo episode.

If I’m not mistaken, it was the malfunctioning iron that initially brought our star-crossed lovers together. I’m glad to watch any non-lather.rinse.repeat storylines outside of the main arcs which are killing us softly with redundancy. More Valero & Mica, please.

Actually Mariluz was killing me quite aggressively this episide with her Stuart Smalley affirmations. Yes. You are Mariluz García…now do something!!!

“Now that people are bombing the place” made me laugh. Who is bombing Augi? We can rule out the mecánicos and Elisa & Co. Is it the consortium of farmers who wanted to burn the finca? Is it El Hombre Oscuro (a true villain should be wreaking havoc all over town, not just having bastard breakdancers)? Is it Conchita (the one everyone least suspects)?!! Only time will tell!

So Jesús truly has a bombastic past. They aren’t being very coy about it. Could we please unravel this and get away from the repetitious dialogue and action?

It’s getting harder and harder to feel sympathetic for Emma and her ridiculous choices. I thought she was going to put someone else at risk with her drunken maneuvers, but then they’re dancers not cheerleaders.

As far as Carluquis, Jesús, Augi, and Baby Iker are concerned, I’m requesting more Iker Sr., please. Thanks in advance.

I’m glad the wine flowed almost as heavily as Villalba’s words. The references to Quevedo, Cyrano de Bergerac, etc., were too much. I do feel bad for him. There isn’t enough wine to make her get over Augi, and tomorrow we might find out what Augi has to say about all this!

Before we could be disappointed in Sam falling into Bri’s trap, Selena burst in and saved the day! I was cheering for Selena at this point as well. I don’t subscribe to the allusion that Domi is jealous. She has always gone out of her way to look after Sam’s best interest, and she clearly knows what a floozy Bri is. She is an original member of Sam’s Club. Wonder when he’ll fight/box/wrestle again!

Thanks O.S. Yes, regurgitation of dialogue is so tiring in novelas! I love them but I don’t understand why the need to repeat everything 4,012 times! Especially since they are aired 5 days a week. Do they really think we’ve forgotten since yesterday and 337 times last week when they told us? I almost think they are just amused by seeing how many times they can repeat it. Makes me want to write a stock paragraph of Jesus and Mari’s love dilemma and just copy and paste it every time they appear on screen!

I still feel some sympathy for Emma, I actually think Emma and Carloca are two sides of the same coin. Carloca is what happens when you mix trauma with mental illness and Emma is what happens when you have a lot of the same trauma and no mental illness. Sure Emma didn’t watch her mother burn to death (or cause it??) but the verbal, emotional and physical neglect she gets consistently is still ver real. She is just a sponge desperate for anyone to love her and since mommy won’t do it, daddy is too busy being a villain to notice her, Prince Charming is too distracted trying to find El hombre Obsecuro; she’ll take the only thing she can get which is unfortunately an alcoholic jackass! She should have gone to boarding school when MD offered it. That said, I really hope this last scare will be the last!!

Selena was my heroine in this one for sure!! Lol but I also loved just how honest and blunt Sam is without being aggressive! Briana says she doesn’t know what he is talking about and he just simply responds with ‘Yes, you do!’ Love it!!!

I think I heard our Mr vila say something about polveo rosa o de rosa? What was that? Because I was enjoying listening to them until this part where I didn't understand them.
Poor Emma. I don't especially like either the character but it's hard not to feel sorry for her when she has a mother like Victoriana.
Why is Domenica friends with Briana? At least I can see why Briana is with Augusto- they are both deserving of each other. But his possessiveness is disgusting and from what I've seen Lupi is going to disappoint me again on the 'I'm not in love with this creep' front. I do hope it's a warning of how women fall into traps and end up with abusive people and not some nonsense about still being in love.This pair has to be one of the creepiest couples I've seen in terms of how it's presented.
 

Guerrero. Another superb recap, Darcy! Mica's and Valero's flirting is kind of sweet. Indeed: I too wonder who tried to bomb Augi. Someone we know or a new villain? And how DOES Jesus know the bomb squad guys? Viewerville wants to know! It's good that Damian is no longer acting jealous of Sam. I too don't understand how Emma could trust Rodrigo now, since in the past he nearly caused her death with that drugged drink, is encouraging her alcoholism despite her diabetes, etc. Good one! "Ghost of Lisardo causing all sorts of wrong impressions." How did Augi know where Villa and Lupe were having dinner? Yep! Good for Selena!--giving Briana what for. Bri really deserves it!

Waterlily, I'm sorry about I don't know exactly what Vila said, I am so used to not understanding him that I don't listen closely to what he says. I just get the gist of it and call it good enough. Why are Briana and Domi friends? That's an excellent question...

SpanProf, I agree - they are definitely building up to some sort of Jesus backstory - maybe he has more interesting when he was younger? LOL I am so curious who bombed Augi!!! I hope we get a new villain!


 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 65 – Part 1 of 4

Back to Lupe and Villa’s first kiss and Lupe breaks away. Villa apologizes profusely if he overstepped it’s just that she’s so beautiful and he loves her so much. Lupe isn’t mad though just overwhelmed, on the contrary she says she’d almost forgotten what it felt like, love’s kiss! Things are looking up for Villa but Augi is still stalking and there’s an ugly black cloud firmly over his head!

Selena is still going off and trying to get past Sam to get to Briana but Sam is a good blocker as well as a good wrestler apparently and Selena gets nowhere. Valero fails at distracting Selena with coffee and Briana manages to sneak out as Sam holds Selena back. Jesus has heard all the noise and comes in demanding to know what is going on. Valero makes jokes about Sam being a heartbreaker and says a bunch of other stuff that sounded nothing like ‘Briana was here’ to me but Jesus apparently speaks Valero now too, because he got to that conclusion from what Valero was saying.

Adrian brings Em home instead to a hospital?? He yells for help and Mica, Domi and Mari come running. They still can’t wake Em up and Mari goes to get Augi but I’m pretty sure he’s still stalking Lupe.

More of Villa talking too much but he looks kind of cute with his face full of hope. He asks Lupe to be his girlfriend and she demurs because she thinks she’s too old to be a ‘girlfriend’. Villa offers the titles of fiancée and wife, Lupe’s not saying yes but her face isn’t saying no either. She has a nice smile when she is relaxed and not worrying too much.

It’s back to fighting, I guess? Not cat fighting but more practicing… Valero is playing with the punching bag and Sam is curling tires?! (LOL) Selena is just drinking in the image of her Sami curling that tire and I don’t blame her. I didn’t fully understand what Valero was asking Selena for, but it had something to do with being recognized as Sam’s wrestling coach. Sam and Valero sort of play fight but Sam gets the upper hand quickly. An appreciative Selena says Sam learns quickly.

Lupe is already starting to become more like her man because it took her way too many words to say yes to giving Villa a chance but it took him even more words to thank her for giving him a chance – I bet their relationship will be exhausting.

Selena talks about the next match and both guys seem a little intimidated by the wrestler he’s facing but I’m not sure if it’s because of the name or if they actually know of the guy. Selena says Capt. Justice has got this and the mood is high again. Next, Sam practices wrestling moves with Selena and it looks like it was genuinely a lot of fun to shoot. A lot of smiles and laughter.

Emma is awake now but her neck is in a brace and she can’t see! Domi explains to MD what happened but all Vicky does is complain about Emma making more trouble. This witch shows zero concern for Emma’s welfare and even less appreciation for Adrian coming to Emma’s rescue. She is predictably rude to him and prevents him from going with Emma and Domi to the hospital. She blames Adrian for what happened and yells at Mari next just for good measure. Color me shocked; MD is actually going to go to the hospital!! She’s cancelling her plans and everything, telling a friend who clearly doesn’t know her well that Emma is always her priority.

Adrian actually wants to know why the witch is a witch!!! LOL The answer is because she’s a witch sweetie!!! He tells Mica he didn’t do anything and he doesn’t know why Vicky is blaming him. Mica says she believes him and he doesn’t need to convince her, she thanks him for helping Emma.

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 65 – Part 2 of 4

The newly ‘novio’d’ or perhaps some other-labeled-Lupe and Villa return home from their date and Villa says a nice long goodnight to his lady love at the door, taking her hands and kissing her goodnight. He calls on ‘My loved’ and I guess that’s the winner because she says she likes that better than novia. Lupe goes inside and has the displeasure of finding Augi sitting on her couch – I’d ask how he got in but Concha probably gladly opened the door for him. Lupe wants to know why Augi is there and Conchita appears as predicted. Augi asks to talk to Lupe alone and Concha warns him to behave but she does leave him alone with Lupe. Augi lets Lupe know he saw her with Villa and takes her into her arms and asks when she is going to admit he’s the only man in life! She pulls out of his arms and tells him not to be cynical. He left her for Vicky and got married. She’s a single woman and she’s free to do whatever she wants and date whomever she wants!!! She orders Augi to leave and he does but first he warns her this isn’t over! Even if she denies it, she belongs to him and she will forever!!!

Vicky and Domi are at the hospital with blind Emma and Augi cannot be found. Domi looks worried, Vicky looks annoyed. The doctor tells them Emma blindness is temporary and she should recover her sight in a couple of days or maybe a week. Vicky basically mocks Emma for not taking care of herself and says this is what she gets. Domi is appalled and Emma is sad. She asks Domi why mom is like this, doesn’t she love me? Domi says don’t say that, mom loves you so much that’s why she’s like this. She’s so worried about you it drives her to this… (if you say so!) I wouldn’t have put it the way Vicky did, but I was wondering if temporary blindness would scare Emma into giving up drinking. Domi loves on Emma since MD won’t.

Domi calls and let’s Mica know Emma is going to be okay and Mari and Adrian who were waiting for news with Mica, celebrate with her that Emma is going to be okay. Mari leaves first saying she wasn’t going to go until they heard news of Emma but she’s gotta go now. After Mari leaves, Mica says Adrian should go too since she doesn’t want any more problems. She goes to shoo him off but Adrian surprises her with a hug and Mica is touched by the gesture.

Fede is still looking for the son of Amilea and he finds the footage, but Adrian’s face wasn’t visible. Adrian gets home talking to mama about Emma being okay and how Patricio could be the Dark guy and his father. Adrian decides he has to learn more about him and he googles Patricio but he finds nothing but positive things as Patricio does a lot to help out the community. He wonders if this could be the same guy but he remembers Mom’s words about the tattoo and he declares that man took advantage of his mom!

More of Mari’s search for Lisardo and she’s telling Concha about her internet search, they talk dreamily of all the possibilities of finding Lisardo and love in general. Mari logs into her account and sees she has a message; the ladies are excited thinking that Lisardo has responded!!

Meanwhile, Jesus is talking with d. Abel about the Re-encuentros message and he gets another notification from the site. Jesus thinks it’s Mariluz, but d. Abel advises caution, it could be a trap. Jesus needs to be 100% certain it’s Mari before he does anything – he has to protect himself and his brothers! Jesus agrees.

Turns out Mari has a bunch of messages and Conchita thinks it means Lisardo is very eager to talk to her but Mari explains they are from a bunch of different people and she’ll have to read through them to see if any of them are him. She demonstrates the point by reading the first message: ‘I’m not Lisardo or the son of Octavio Sanchez, but if you’re beautiful then I’m looking for you too!’ Mari laughs, but Conchita is offended. Mari reads more messages and she continues to be amused while Concha continues to be scandalized!

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 65 – Part 3 of 4

Adrian thinks back to breaking into Fede’s home and everything since, his mind is reeling…

Augi wants Fede to take care that ridiculous Villalba tonight, he knows what to do. Fede says okay and he needs to show Augi something else. He shows him the re-encuentros message and Augi says perhaps the first truly stupid thing we’ve heard him come up with: ‘It’s her! I’m sure of it, It’s Elisa’ (Dude, if it was Elisa, she would be looking for all three of her sons not just Lisardo!!!) Fede voices his doubts since they believe Elisa is already connected to her sons. Augi says if not her, then who? Fede suggests maybe it’s the son of Amelia Sanchez? Octavio’s nephew – again why would he be looking for just one cousin? Augi seems to consider this and he also notices Fede is affected by that boy and he tells him not to worry about it, how could that boy possibly be a problem for them after all these years? Augi says their real enemies are Octavio’s sons and Fede agrees verbally but his face tells another story. Augi is now sure Elisa doesn’t know where her sons are and this message proves it! Fede next tries to tell Augi about Vicky’s messages but Augi says the last thing he wants to hear in this moment are messages from Vicky. He calls Briana instead and tells Fede to tell Vicky he went out!

More of Adrian pacing and worrying while not able to concentrate on studying. He decides to try and Jesus arrives in time to give him a pep talk. Adrian has a test in the morning and he needs to pass so he shouldn’t be googling diabetes and alcohol instead of studying! He mentions he gets the DNA test results tomorrow.

Jesus breaks out the man dairy and starts waxing poetic about suffering for love as he thinks about answering Mari’s messages, how can he ignore her? What does he do?? Mari is disappointed. She read through a ton of messages and none of them are from him. More of Mari and Concha dreaming about what it would be like if Mari found Lisardo and they lived happily ever after. Sigh…I’m not impressed actually, but Concha is and she spins around and then we spin into a fantasy sequence of her dancing in a sparkling ballgown with d. Abel.

Briana and Augi are less romantic and more lustful – for about 3 seconds, until Augi still distracted by Lupe being with Villa breaks away from the kiss and plops down in frustration. Bri asks what’s wrong and he tells her in a roundabout way without mentioning that it’s a woman that’s being taken from him. The talking segment is over as quick as it began and Augi declares he didn’t come to talk. It’s back to the making out.

Damian is walking through some sort of art school looking for Elisa. No luck, he asks about paintings by Elisa Curso or EC but the lady says she has never heard of that artist.

Meanwhile, Elisa looks as dressed down as we’ve seen her, in jeans and a shirt; surprising Santi with his favorite breakfast. Santi says some guy was at the art school asking for her, Elisa wants to know if it was Lisardo, did he have glasses? (I don’t remember them deciding Lisardo had glasses??) Santi says no and Elisa says then it couldn’t be Lisardo. Santi thinks it could be one of Augi’s guys looking for her.

Emma is being guiding by Mica through the hall when she runs into Augi who finally heard about her problem. Augi plays concerned father for a moment asking how Em is and he’s surprised to hear Adrian saved Emma. Em wants to go thank him but Vicky says she’d probably fall down the stairs on the way there and Em should go back to her room and stop talking nonsense. Augi says not to talk to their daughter like that but then his phone rings and he tells Emma he has to answer before even checking the caller ID, he walks off with the call so I guess his two minutes of father time are up. Vicky makes faces at blind Emma and walks away too, leaving Em to call out mommy and daddy in vain. Mica takes her back to her room.

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 65 – Part 4 of 4

Mari is working and Domi sneaks in. Mari asks about Domi and she says it’s just a matter of days. Domi is on her way out but she wanted to ask Mari about the search for childhood love. Mari says no news yet, a lot of fake messages but nothing from Lisardo. Domi says it’s only been a day give it time. Mari says she’s nervous, what if he moved out of the country? Or he’s married with kids? Domi advises not to overthink it and drive herself crazy. She needs to just wait but also be careful because the internet can be dangerous. Mari promises she won’t be giving out any information until she’s absolutely sure it’s Lisardo. Domi says he’s going to respond, she’s sure of it!

Damian is now at the school that sent the blurry picture, but the receptionist gives him the bad news that the digital copy of the photo is all she has, the original wasn’t kept. Damian asks if there was any other detail left behind and he’s told that the room she stayed in hasn’t been used since she left. He’s allowed to see the room and he looks around finally finding momma’s scarf on the ground. He hides it in his coat and asks if the address mom left is nearby? Next, we see him back on the streets and he calls Jesus who is in the shop office with Sam and Valero. Jesus puts him on speaker and asks how it’s going. Damian says it’s going badly, is leads are drying up. The address was false. He’s thinking of returning, he doesn’t know what else he can do there. Damian asks if anything is going on there and Jesus admits someone put a message on a message board looking for him.

Elisa and Santi saw the message online too and Santi is sure it’s Augi setting a trap! Elisa is uneasy again and now she wants to go back to Mexico and put a microphone in Augi’s office!! Santi actually laughs – and more than a little – at this idea and I love him for it!

Jesus and Sam have a silly little what’s up with you? Me? No, you? You, no me? Type discussion and they are both cagey. Jesus says he knows Sam very well and he feels like he’s hiding something from him. Doesn’t he trust him? Sam says no and Jesus says you don’t? But Sam clarifies that he trusts him but isn’t hiding anything…. which is kind of true because Sam’s face hides nothing and it’s completely obvious that he’s lying. He runs out of the room and Jesus stares after him. He gets up and closes the door and then sits thinking in front of the computer. Mari gets a re-encuentros notification but I don’t think it’s Jesus yet… It will be soon though because Jesus starts typing, but Augi is typing too!

Mari says it’s break time and sits down to read, she gets a message: ‘After my father died, I was adopted by a family and moved far away. If you really knew my father, I’d like to talk to you!’ Mari is excited, it’s him! But is it? Or is it Augi? Turn in tomorrow to find out…

 

Guerrero. Another excellent recap, Darcy! Villalba is so sweet! And Mica is much more of a mother to Emma than Vicky is, once again. Let's hope this scare does get Emma to give up drinking. I hope we learn today whether Patricio is Adrian's father or not. Oh oh! Augi knows of Mari's online search for Lisardo and is taking advantage. But all those fake replies from others were very funny. I hope Adrian doesn't wreck his chances to do well on this exam because of spending time researching diabetes and alcohol online. Well, we should know that too today. Has Elisa never heard of contact lenses? Of course, there's another missed opportunity for Damian and Elisa to make contact! Ho hum.

Did Jesus/Lisardo used to wear glasses? I don’t remember hearing that but even do, even pretending contacts wasn’t an option as you mentioned; why not wonder if it could be Damian or Sam? Why go straight to if it’s not Lisardo it must be Augi??? I don’t follow that logic at all…

Darcy, thanks for another excellent recap. You left no stone unturned. I believe we’ll have to wait until Thursday to find out the mysterious message sender as the show is preempted by fútbol. Curses!

LOL @ Jesús now fluent in Valero. Since we have time on our hands, I’ll try to decipher what was said (amongst other things).

After Selena stakes her claim on our Samuelín and Bri is cowering in the corner, it was Valero who coached Bri to run away (LOL), and she does. Valero tells Jesús there seems to have been a misunderstanding with Heartbreaker Sam. See, Selena gave Bri the what for after she caught her riding her bicycle (wink,wink). Jesús says, “Augusto’s Briana?” LOL. Shouldn’t she be Doménica’s Briana?

Some scene(s) must have been cut because Jesús is now nowhere to be found. While Sam is curling a tire (LOL) Valero asks Selena to look up The Huracarrara (perhaps Sam’s next opponent). Selena doesn’t believe such a thing exists. “Who is the wrestling expert and manager of the future star of the ring?!!” Both Sam & Selena acknowledge it’s Valero. LOL. Valero insists they not ever question the coach. The Manager. VALERO! After some google action, Selena comes back with “Huracarrara” which is a wrestling move. Valero goes behind Sam, then massaging his back, then sneak attack puts him in a Nelson (wrestling move). Sam easily escapes the move and returns the favor. Valero gives! LOL. Sam says he barely squeezed him. Selena compliments his quick learning so Sam offers to put her in a Nelson. LOL

Selena hopes that Sam will beat his next opponent, Crazy Tarzan(!), tomorrow night. Both guys react to that name/wrestler. Selena says she vanquished her flirting enemy (Bri), and now Captain Justice must do the same. They start to hug, but Valero insists Crazy Tarzan is no joke. They must train. The actors were clearly having a blast filming the montage of training.

I liked the generation gap comedy of Mari weeding through the trolls/SPAM messages and being amused while Conchita is indeed scandalized. LOL

I don’t like Adrían drawing butterflies, googling diabetes & alcohol, and basically everything BUT studying. I get it, but it goes in the same column as Emma’s Choices.

I don’t like Augi ordering harm to Villalba. We may all reach for the Mute button, but we never want him silenced physically!

The Man Diary. I hope this prop survives the tale and makes its way to eBay. I’ll be the first to bid. I’m not mad at Conchita’s fantasy sequence. Fun surprise.

Remember when Damián first went to Morelia he was wearing the master of all disguises (Baseball cap and Aviator sunglasses). Perhaps the sunglasses made the same impression as the mango/knife!

I tried to ignore Mommy Dearest’s cartoonish behavior but this made me laugh.

I’m not a fan of Yelp, but Damián should have OWNED Elisa’s hotel for their lousy housekeeping detail. How did they miss the fragrant scarf?!!

Opera Man, not known for his comedic timing, was on point - laughing at Elisa’s master plan of planting a microphone in Augi’s office. Could it be that Damián inherited her artistic flair and MacGuyver tendencies from Elisa?!!

Can’t wait to find out who’s behind the Re-encuentros message(s)!!!
 

Guerrero. Btw, in Don Quijote, Alonso Quijano doesn't even know the peasant woman he has a crush on and she has no idea that he is observing her. It just seems that as a "chivalric hero" he needs to have a dama to worship (Like Amadis and Oriana), and he can't seem to create from nothing--as when he "transforms" some innocent mourners into evil murderers of a noble knight, a humble inn into a castle, windmills into giants, a barber's basin into a helmet, etc.
