Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 92 – Part 1 of 3

Damian finds the flash drive with the pics from the Fede set up in Fede’s car and puts two and two together.

Sam and Domi continue their fishing date and it’s disturbing Sam still has hope. Domi does tell him that she is still completely in love with Damian, but Sam is sure that he can love Domi without hurting her if she gives him a chance. (We all know how much I love Sam, but to be completely fair he’s lying to Domi every bit as much as Damian is. He’s just the passive lie of omission guy while Damian’s lies are more blatant) Domi say what she feels for Sam is a different kind of caring but she is less adamant about her no than she used to be and, in the end, Domi makes the water even murkier by saying they should walk into things and not run. So, are they dating now? I’m not even sure.

Adrian sets up a romantic surprise for Emma but she doesn’t show up because she’s with Renata at the doctor’s office. The doctor scares Renata straight by introducing her to another eating disorder patient and Renata and Em make up and become bestie’s again (Yuck) Ren’s good girl act lasts until they get home and then she’s already insulting Damian and the orphans again. Also disturbing is how MD greets Renata and tells Em that FINALLY she has a good influence back in this house….YUCK YUCK YUCK! I can see why Em would want to help Renata as a concerned and kind person but to go back to being BFFs is ridiculous! Em tries to call Adrian, but he doesn’t answer because he’s mad that she blew him off, so she continues a ‘girls afternoon’ with Renata. Renata wants Emma to realize she and her friends are Em’s true friends! They have known her for her whole life! Em says she loves Ren but if they are going to be friends, she needs to accept Emma for who she is and not try to change her. Ren acknowledges that Emma is the only one who cared enough to help her and says of course she’ll accept her, we’ll see.

Fede sent proof to set someone up and is discussing it on the phone, I’m not sure exactly what Fede is trying to set up one of the Guerreros for this time but we later see some dudes sneaking into the shop to leave something behind while all the guys are distracted working on some parts. Fede and Augi also discuss this briefly and I am guessing they are trying to frame someone for the murder of whoever is under the tree? Damian comes to confront him about the photos. He says he knows that Fede set him up and Augi probably put him up to it, he punches Fede good (YEA!) and dares him to tell Domi the truth when she asks.

Doc comes to see Augi and he’s going to leave unfortunately but the doctor advises some days of rest, of course Augi starts plotting as soon as the doc leaves the room. Vic leaves with the doc and asks him to be honest about Augi’s diagnosis but he says it’s impossible to say from a house call they need to go into the office and use actually medical equipment to run actual tests. The doc leaves and Vicky pours herself a drink. She gets a call from Elisa. Santi beat the dead horse trying to keep Elisa from calling but she’s willing to do anything for her sons so she’s calling to set up an appointment to meet with MD and hopefully learn about the box. She rather ominously identifies herself to MD over the phone as the only witness to Victoriano’s death! MD is shocked speechless (sadly only momentarily)

Damian is leaving Casa de Augusto and runs into Sam and Domi laughing and talking with their ice creams. The normal hostilities, catty comments, and jealousy ensue but Damian does manage to plant the seed in Domi’s mind that those recent pics were a Fede/Augi trap and not what they look like.

Adrian finds out Em isn’t coming when he sees Ren’s video on Insta informing the world that she and Em are BFFs again! He’s as disgusted with the idea of the return of the BFFs as I am and he relays this to Gus later. Gus wonders how Adrian and Emma will work out their relationship if they don’t spend time together and Adrian doesn’t know, he’s pretty mad at Em but he’s still completely in love with her. Gus says relationships are difficult and he relays that he and Belen decided to be just friends, he hopes he will find his dream girl some day! During this impassioned speech Adrian notices Gus is moving his feet!!! Celebration time!

Domi confronts Fede with the thumb drive and the set up but he plays dumb! He suggests the drive was missing and anyone could have used it. He also says obviously Augi isn’t sending him to run confidential errands today is his first day back and Augi doesn’t trust him anymore. Domi buys none of this.

Carloca finds the plane tickets confirming Mari was with Jesus. She has this entirely confusing (but cool) conversation with herself as we flashback to various Loca times we’ve seen and her voiceover says that she is smarter than Mari and a better liar than Jesus. She is remembering her coherent honest moment when she admitted to herself that Jesus just doesn’t love her but she isn’t going to give up…. Carloca has a plan!

Mari is having lunch with Patricio when the theme song (Jesus/Mari song) comes on and she gets sad. She explains it reminds her of the man she has to forget and Patty suggests taking the song back and they dance. After the song ends, Mari is laughing and she decides right then and there she IS going to give Patty a chance! She enjoys his company; he makes her laugh and maybe just maybe, he could make her forget. Patty is thrilled and he immediately gives Mari is big kiss! Their song swells and I like this song better – I like the theme song too, but this song is beautiful and it touches the heart strings. Mari only asks that they take things slow which Patty quickly agrees too.

Augi tells Fede about the Finca body and even suggests Fede could have done it but Fede denies. He agrees to investigate it immediately! Augi thinks it might have been Lisardo that reported him and Fede wants to know why he thinks that but Augi doesn’t give him the details. He doesn’t want to explain he wants results!!! These people are putting his candidacy at risk! Fede backs off his questions and it isn’t lost on him that whatever Augi’s heart/health issues his uncle is clearly still in pain!

Jesus is getting out of the shower and carefully bandaging up his injury, he remembers Augi’s harsh words about how Lisardo must have been hurt in that fight and he tells himself that he has to make sure Augi doesn’t realize he’s hurt otherwise he’ll immediately get suspicious! Jesus finishes dressing and notices this plane ticket now sitting out where Carloca left it. Written on the ticket is ‘I want to fly too with our child!’

Sure enough Carloca is standing on the top of the roof with arms raised rambling on about wanting to fly with Jesus (I may or may not have been chanting ‘Fly Carloca, Fly,’ at the screen! Mica and the butler see Carloca and freak out and Jesus comes running. He goes to the roof to comfort Carloca until he can grab her down from the ledge. Honestly, I was laughing too hard to listen closely to the dialogue but I’m sure it was the whole you won’t have sex with me dead horse. The actress did good in this scene!

MD tries to talk to Augi about Elisa’s call but he won’t stop what he’s doing long enough to listen to news I’m sure he would have loved to hear! Too bad you’re a jackass Augusto!!! Mica interrupts all frantic and is finally able to get out that Carloca is tried to kill herself! Augi rushes out to see to his daughter but MD only laughs and says Carloca should have gone through with it.

Jesus carries Carloca back to their room and puts her in bed. His wound has opened from the strain, I’m guessing, and he’s bleeding. He doesn’t notice but Augi does the moment he sees Jesus, he flashes on the Lisardo conversation too and he demands to know why Jesus is injured NOW!!! (I could never work for this entitled jerk, I wouldn’t make it a whole day with his demands without telling him to go to hell) Jesus doesn’t answer, but Carloca does. She says Jesus isn’t bleeding it’s her blood….she says she’s bleeding because of the baby??? Oh goodness, they end up taking her to the hospital to get a check up as they should and the doctor says she and the baby are safe – not healthy mentally clearly, but not in mortal danger. Carloca needs to be even more careful now though, she needs bed rest. Augi wants have Carloca institutionalized for her own good and the baby’s safety but Carloca ensures daddy that she isn’t crazy (LOL) She wasn’t going to kill herself she was just putting on a show for Jesus! Loca has a plan and daddy can’t interfere!!! If he sends her away, Jesus will believe the lie that she’s crazy (LOLOLOL The fact that she still thinks Jesus doesn’t already know she is crazy, is proof that she is!) Daddy agrees to humor Carloca as always!

d. Abel and Conchita win a dance contest and they also win an opportunity to dance in a contest in Veracruz! It’s all expenses paid but since they are a couple, they are only getting one room! Conchita throws a hilarious fit about how there is no way she can do this! She’s a respectable woman and they haven’t formalized their relationship yet. How could she show her face to Lupe or Mari??? D. Abel has the perfect solution, a marriage proposal!!! He proposes right there in the location of their first date and among their friends. Conchita doesn’t say yes so much as just cry, but she kisses Abel so I think that’s a yes.

Adrian talks to Valero about Gus getting better and they drink 14 bottles of coke – lol I love these coke commercials!!!

Elisa is pacing while Santi practices his it’s too dangerous refrain. Elisa answers with her I’ll do anything for my kids. MD is taking to daddy, holding the coveted box. She’s sure Elisa knows something. She believes that Elisa killed her dad and she thinks that Elisa and Augi were lovers! She’s growing more and more convinced that Augi was somehow in cahoots with Elisa! Elisa calls back (just as Fede was entering so he hears everything. MD says she’s willing to meet with Elisa tomorrow, she knows that Elisa killed her dad but she’s curious to hear what she has to say. They will meet at the location where her father died, and no, she won’t be setting a time for the meet, Elisa can just sit by the phone and be at her beck and call – she’ll call when SHE’S ready to meet!

Hola, Patio. Thanks Darcy for one detailed and snarktastic recap! Our little show was action packed, and you captured everything.

¿Qué the heck are they doing with Sam & Doménica? Did not like that at all. He needs to come back to Earth…and rescue Selena!!!

I was really hoping that little after school special with Adrián, Emma, and Renata was over, but no. It’s uninteresting, uninspired, and totally unrealistic. The only highlight was we got to hear more of Adrián y Emma’s Love Theme sung by Sian Chiong. Unfortunately, it’s not available on iTunes.

Both Fede and Saùl are up to no good under Augi’s orders, but they’ve given us very little clues. Bravo for Fede’s smack, and I was hoping the garage interloper would catch an epic Guerrero beat down when discovered.

Poor Patricio. Great song. Great girl. But no chance at a Happily Ever After with Mariluz (according to the telenovela odds).

Darcy, we may be related. I was singing, “Fly, ‘Loca, Fly! Up up to the sky!” Don’t tell the Silver Connection; I cannot afford to pay the royalties for that remix.

Carloca was the mvp this episode. The actress does so much with what they give her. Conchita was cute, but took valuable time away from the Dead Guy Under the Tree action. I want to know more, and I’m looking forward to the Elisa & Vic showdown. A little nervous about the gun, but hoping for them to work together.

Now, everybody move your feet (like Gus) and have a great Tuesday!
 

Guerrero. Superb recap, Darcy! Even better than usual. And excellent observations on Sam and Damian. Sam is very smart and he is certainly making up for lost time educationally, etc. But poor Sam--Domi doesn't love him. I liked the symbol of walking before you run. So Augusto didn't really have a heart attack? At least not a serious one? But refusing care--maybe that will do him in? One can always hope. Whoa! Vicki is going to learn the truth about her father's death! If she believes it, that is. Sweet dance between Mariluz and Patricio. Can we hope she ends up with him? Probably not. Whoa! Carlota almost miscarries (maybe). A presagio (foreshadowing)? Her reasoning about being on the roof is almost as crazy as a suicide attempt. And when will we find out the identity of the corpse under the tree?
 

Thanks ladies!!! I have a super busy week this week and next so I was feeling like I rushed the recap a little so I am happy to read that it was well received. Today's recap is once again rushed and next week's will likely be too but I am hoping by formatting the recaps by theme/conversation I am still getting a lot of the context even if the conversations are recorded in less detail.

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 93 – Part 1 of 3

Mica runs to tell Lupe about Carloca’s attempt to fly without a plane or wings, and her miscarriage scare. Lupe seems to have some sympathy for Loca but she also orders Mica not to tell Mari anything about this. She doesn’t want Mari hearing about anything having to do with Jesus. Mica next tells her about Augi’s health scare – Lupe is much more worried about poor Augi’s health than she should be leading Mica to comment on Augi dying without knowing Mari is his daughter. She goes on and on and Mari almost overhears but doesn’t of course.

Sam and Adrian go looking for Selena but are able to find her. Linda brings Selena a bunch of new dresses from the bosses, gushing again over how glamorous it must be to be an imprisoned dance star and how, yeah, it sucks to not have freedom but there are worse things like being plain and club footed like Linda! Selena says Linda is right for some reason, but before they can explore this concept more the bosses arrive and assure Selena they are not like that punk Federico! They want to offer her a genuine contract. She can be free and she can also have a contract for a real job dancing in their club and she will have their protection from Fede’s rat self. Selena appears to consider this.

Villa goes on and on and on about how much he misses is dear Lupe. Later, he calls Lupe’s house right after they find out Mommy’s engaged and he hears Loopy in the background saying how happy she is, Vila says nothing.

Fede comes to report to Augi his findings but he didn’t find out much except it was an anonymous tip, maybe it was Lisardo? Fede sort of pauses and I bet he was about to tell Augi about Vicky’s upcoming meeting with Elisa, but Augi is characteristically hostile and insulting and Fede zips his lips! Will the meeting go through without Augi finding out? Fede is still stalling and Augi demands ‘What?’ so Fede confirms that everything is set for the police to find the fraud evidence and Augi reminds Fede that that is someone going down for his fraud! Which I note, because that comment made me realize what I didn’t understand yesterday, they aren’t framing someone for something to do with the dead body, they’re finding a fall guy for the bad car parts scandal that Fede caused.

d. Abel has spent too much time with Vila and he makes a long, long. longwinded speech to Mari and Lupe, asking for Conchita’s hand, I suppose? LOL Everyone talks too much now but they do announce their attention to marry the day after tomorrow!!! The best part about this was Conchita making a joke about being pregnant! LOLOLOLOL She seems like a fun lady.

Carloca and Jesus have another ‘love me’ ‘just take care of our baby’ conversation and it goes where it always does. Jesus has noticed her recent tension though and when she refuses to tell him why she’s even more upset than usual. Jesus is clearly not satisfied. Left alone in the room, Carloca decides to hide Iker’s cell under the bed instead of just in a drawer. Jesus CANNOT find it! It is also clear Loca is still hurting, is the baby in danger? Jesus does go searching for clues of what’s going on with Carloca later and he finds a psychiatric evaluation for Carloca. He calls her doctor saying he needs information about his wife, she doesn’t seem to be doing well.

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 93 – Part 2 of 3

The Guerrero’s minus Jesus, discuss Carloca’s almost flight, and Damian correctly believes it was a stunt to scare Jesus but Valero jumps all over him and says he should be more worried about his nephew. The typical comical arguing ensues with Mica defending her novicito. Later d. Abel has joined the crew too and the police show up looking for….Valero!!!! It looks like he’s the lucky fall guy for the car parts fraud - the cash is found hidden in his new backpack! Mica is horrified while Valero faints away!

Emma and Domi discuss Renata and Carloca and how horrible it must be to struggle with mental health issues and not be able to control your impulses.

The guys go to the police station but they don’t inform Jesus, he’s been through enough today anyway! Besides there’s nothing they can do. Augi sure is good at blaming others for his crimes!

Vila calls Abel and they have a talking competition…. but the gist is that Vila has figured out that someone is sabotaging the strike talks, they are trying to keep Vila in that town and far away! Speaking of the idiot, Augi runs to Lupe again to beg for her love. As usual her words say to go to hell but her face gives away that her feelings are torn. Augi says he almost had a heart attack and he knows what is important now, his true love! He made a mistake leaving her and he’s never loved anyone the way he loves her….blah blah blah blah blah. Augi promises he’s going to win Loopy back and after he wins the election he will get a divorce so he can be with her.

Emma tries to talk to mom about dad’s health and MD immediately jumps all over Emma about how dad would be better if he wasn’t constantly worried about everyone and all the problems that Emma calls – which is really unfair because Augi doesn’t give a damn about Emma, I sincerely doubt he could even name three things she’s been up to much less stress about them! As usual, I am just glad that my own mother was nothing like this blond harpy!

Vila runs down Augi’s flunky and reads him the riot act. They are going to end this stall at once! Period! The guy can’t hold out under Vila’s anger and threats, he admits he was stalling on Augi’s orders. Augi demands evidence of Augi’s interference or he’ll make sure all the employees know that he was negotiating in bad faith and keeping them from being able to work.

Loopy manages to get rid of Augi and Conchita shocks me completely by being PROUD of her daughter for kicking Augi to the curb. Loopy doesn’t need him!!! They have a strong and proud moment but later Lupe is in bed still thinking about Augi’s words. Why can’t see stop thinking about him? She prays for the strength to resist him. (The man has not one single likable quality!! What’s so hard to resist?)

Augi has some stupid press conference with Vicky at his side. I couldn’t listen to his BS, I was too disgusted by the adoring looks on Vicky and Mari’s faces and the approval on Patty’s! Ick. Elisa and Santi were watching and she thought the same as I did. Same with the praising Augi conversation afterwards… ick ick ick.

 

Corazon Guerrero – Capitulo 93 – Part 3 of 3

Elisa is reading to leave and go meet Vicky but Santi is not going to allow it!!! They start arguing about safety again but this time Santi wins the argument!!! He’s going to help her find the box but they will do it his way this time! He understands her position but she has to be ALIVE to reunite with her sons!!! She can’t achieve any of her goals if she gets killed. Elisa backs down and thanks Santi for his love and support, she agrees to do it his way, this time! LOL We see perhaps the first (?) real kiss between this couple. Elisa asks, what is your idea?

Fede compliments Augi on the performance at the press conference and just when I thought Vicky might get away from him it looks like Fede is going to tell his Tio about the meeting after all. Vicky goes to meet with Elisa and they talk over the phone but far enough away that I’m betting the figure Vicky sees isn’t actually Elisa. In fact, there’s another woman now showing up at the Case de Augusto looking for the box….Mica is expecting her! (it could be Elisa, the hair is the wrong color but Elisa wears wigs) The conversation goes about the way you’d expect it to go with Elisa claiming innocence and dream queen Vicky yelling yeah right, I know you did it. Vicky wants proof and Elisa says ironically you are the one with the truth. It’s in the box your dad gave you! Vicky wants to know how Elisa knows about the box and she says Victoriano told her right before he died! He also told her to say goodbye to Vicky, Victor’s last words were for his precious daughter!!! Vicky doesn’t know what to make of this and is screaming wanting to know who killed her father when Fede and Augi show up to ‘protect’ her because Elisa is dangerous!!! Augi takes off after the hooded figure saying how she isn’t going to escape this time. He’s going to end her the same way he will end her sons!

Jesus comes into the office and Sam tells him about their search for proof to get Valero out of jail. Damian has found an email from one of Jesus’s ‘brothers’ and it must be important because it has to do with police archives (I think). Jesus says that won’t help with Valero’s problem but Damian says it might help answer Damian’s question and finally tell us something about you. Damian looks his brother in the eye and says Who are you?

Guadalupe...I can't decide if she just irritates me or if I'm just so baffled by this plot that I have no words left. Where is this going? Why doesn't she get it that 'after the election' says it all? How can a guy who doesn't have any money of his own be so entitled and think no woman can say no to him? But then Jesus is no better with his constant going after Mari.It's annoying that these characters never are forced to say what exactly they think will happen with these 'relationships' they insist they want.
I thought I was the only one who hated August's speech.I have only to wait till they learn the truth I guess. point

Waterlily: I would like to see a female version of this Telenovela with 4 sisters & the daily chaotic drama, etc., in a future Telenovela someday.


 

Guerrero. Another excellent recap, Darcy! Interesting about Carlota. Is feigned craziness really craziness? In her case probably. Things do seem to be looking up for Selena. The bad guys who run the nightclub may not be totally bad, and they would free her from Federico. I hope Elisa triumphs very quickly! Once again Adrian overreacts and doesn't trust Emma. Grow up! Yep, I'm pretty sure that's an Elisa imposter too..

#94 - The what I can remember addition.

We had an eventful episode but I didn't have time yesterday to write anything down, so let's see what I can recall....

Jesus dodged and dismissed Damian's questions about his past again, being both rude and disrespectful of the brother he supposedly loves....they really didn't want to give their galan any likable qualities did they???

The body under the tree is Baustisa!!! (I'd forgotten about him!) The police go to investigate and they find Domi who admits knowing him and tells them all the horrible things she knows about him - he raised Sam as a slave, kidnapped Domi, blackmailed Augi....this brilliant detective then decides to go after Sam as a suspect?? He starts asking him questions and implies that he may have killed him - which is stupid, because although Sam surely had plenty of reasons to do it, why and how would he manage to burry the man on Augi's Finca???? It makes no sense and I already hate the guy for going straight after the victim! Luckily, Domi interrupts and tells the guy to leave Sam the hell alone and that he won't be answering any questions without a lawyer and a court order (I think). The dude leaves and Sam and Domi hug. Damian sees the hug of course, don't think he saw the cop.

Vila returns home and proposes to Lupe!! This confused me because I thought he'd already done that at least twice, but she says yes again and then agrees to a double wedding with mom and d. Abel!!! Augi overhears this!

Speaking of Augi, the real action of the ep. Augi takes off after Elisa and is yelling out his usual taunts but MD somehow gets her gun, gets away from Fede and shoots Elisa!!!! But it's not Elisa, it's Santi!!!! (This truly shocked me, I didn't see this twist coming - not the it's not Elisa I knew that, but the Santi getting shot part) How did MD go from desperate to know who shot daddy to ready to kill Elisa in like 3 mins??? And interesting it was 'she's your lover' that she kept saying, not she killed my dad. So Santi is dead, he survived the first bullet but not the second shot and 'clean up' from Augi's lackey....it was Elisa at the house and over Mica's protests she manages to steal the box and get back out of the house...Mica trying to direct her to follow her when she was already gone was cute. Elisa gets back to the car but Santi never shows back up and isn't answering his phone. Elisa is frantic and confused but eventually she leaves because she has to and is left wondering where is Santi?

MD is distraught that she killed that man, which surprised me too actually, I didn't expect her to care that much. Augi reassures her sort of, but it's now clear Augi has something to hold over Vicky's head to keep her in line. Later, Vicky goes to call someone (probably Fede but I don't remember for sure) and I don't remember exactly what she said either I just remember it planted the idea in Augi's head that Vicky's is acting behind his back so now she may be in danger too. Which makes it really really unlucky that Augi's lackey's are still following Fede's every move and they see when Vicky comes to visit him at his apartment!!! They also catch pics of them kissing outside!!! Oh no!


Mari invited Patty to the wedding. Emma and Adrian continue to fight. Laura gives Adrian some meddling forget love and concentrate on school speech. Valero adjusts to jail - sort of.

Guerrero. Great abbreviated recap, Darcy! The only (maybe) important plot development, IIRC, that isn't there is the political boss(?) telling Patricio that he's going to have to move elsewhere for a few years. How contrived! Isn't he a member of the Mexican legislature and a regional political leader? Way to open up an opportunity for Jesus, though! Ah, so they finally found Bautista's body! I hope that in the end Sam doesn't get blamed. I wonder if Santi is still alive. We didn't actually see the second shot being fired.
