"SENOR 8" EPISODE #1224:

Howdy from the Alamo City folks. Here's a very short mini-recap of last night's episode:

*Creepy Aguirre, Laura, Psycho Jaime & Berenice were eating dinner in Cancun at Creepy Aguirre's house.

*Diana gives Ishmael the scoop at the Casillas Family Ranch.

*Karla speaking with Mecha in Mexicali.

*SuperJavi & Ritula doing their usual arguing LOL & makeup kissing.

*Looks like Laura & Creepy Aguirre will be having sex soon.

*Corina in danger AGAIN OMG. Something tells me either Corina or Colon will get whacked.

OT/Telemundo

Ugh, what's up with all these Juego de Mentiras preemptions? I get football, but La Casa de los Famosos??? Really?

OT/TELEMUNDO:

Weirdo: Now they've got 2 full HRS of Top Chef VIP.

Steve Boudreaux

telemundo

Weirdo, what I found odd was that the two-hour finale was followed at 10PM not by Juego de Mentiras but by El Señor, even though Juego is the one normally scheduled for 10 PM. I find myself wondering whether Telemundo is trying to conclude El Señor so they can put the upcoming Turkish dizi in the 9 PM spot. That's just a wild guess.

I can do something bare bones if no one else can do a recap. I don't have much time tonight.

"SENOR 8" EPISODE #1225:

I will do the recap of last night's episode sometime today.

Weirdo: RIP Corina UGH! Crazy Tracy & DEA Lackey better run for their lives because Aurelio will be gunning for their asses!

I have re-read all the recaps and gathered all the info we know about Cara/-ita Sucia. I'll post it after novelera or someone else posts her recap.

"SENOR 8" EPISODE #1225:

Howdy from the Alamo City (San Antonio, TX). Here's a mini-recap of last night's episode.

Weirdo, Dondi356, Susanlynn, Novelera, Anon, Halimacandy, Kirby, Jarifa, OSS, VVS, UA & Co.,: It was no shocker to me that Corina got killed off, joining a massive Body Count in this Telenovela which is so long, that I've stop trying to count LOL.

*Big question is whether Colon will be joining the Body Count soon considering that Crazy Tracy (her ambition to control all of DEA Mexico has no boundaries) ? I've got a gut feeling Colon's days are numbered.

*Upon getting news of Corina's death, Crazy Tracy celebrates OMG.

*Manzano & Castillo discuss the details about Corina's death, etc., we see that Castillo notifies Karla about Corina's death.

*Over at the Casillas Family Ranch: Aurelio informs his family about Corina's death. They're shocked by the news.

*In the meantime in Cancun, we see Creepy Aguirre & Laura discussing their overnight encounter in the bedroom. At some point, she's going to have to go back home & explain to Ishmael what happened.

*Crazy Tracy & Benjamin (I think that's his name) discussing more strategy of their schemes, etc., but I seriously doubt either of them will enjoy it because Aurelio will be gunning for them at some point.

*We see Felina at her ranch I think it is & she's calling Zambrana about more of their so-called business deals, etc.,

*Felina was also notified about Corina's death over the phone.

*Over at the hospital, Colon & one of the young doctors are discussing something regarding doing an autopsy of Corina to determine the real cause of death, etc.,

*Since we're in the Etapa Final, it'll be interesting to see if Castillo, Karla & Colon will be able to avoid getting whacked.

*Haven't seen Dahlila in last night's episode, but I'm assuming she'll be seen hopefully this week.

*In the meantime back in Cancun, Psycho Jaime (who's hell-bent on becoming the next President of Mexico in 2024) & Gullible Berenice (who's on the verge of becoming Bizarro Gaviota 3.0: see the late Paloma Villarreal, who got whacked by BPN in Season 5). If we do get a 9th Season, I've got a feeling Berenice will NOT be among the living if & when that time comes.

I really appreciate your recaps, Steve. I’m casually watching and they are very helpful.

QEPD, Corinna. A weird send off. She came out of her vegetative state (due to the Fentanyl overdose) to give Tracy’s name to Colon and say she didn’t want to live like this anymore. Then Colon finished her off, smothering her with a pillow. That’s true love, I tell ya! And maybe that’s why Colon wants to hurry up and have Corinna cremated. Thank goodness I no longer have to watch Colon whimpering like an idiot because of her.

Crazy Tracy Lobo thinks she’s out of the woods. Wait till Aurelio gets her and her little dog, Benjamin, too. And the henchie with the Fentanyl. I wonder if AC will have sex with Tracy before he kills her? Remember when he got hot and heavy with Monica and he stabbed her in the gut during the session?

Happy that Rutila and Javi made up. Let’s see how long it lasts.

Aguirre is beyond sickening. Tries to rape Laura and calls it “therapy”. Then he threatens her not to tell Ismael.

Getting a kick out of Carla explaining Aurelio’s charisma to Mecha. Once a woman goes to bed with AC, she’s hooked for good. The only one who managed to resist is La Felina. One of the many reasons I love her.

Did we find out yet if Felina’s long lost son is that transgender woman?

That geezer Zambrana is trying to make time with Felina? LOL.

Isn’t Berenice playing Jaime this time? She keeps in touch with Isturiz and feeds him info. I suppose we should worry about her safety.

I hate to think there's a 9th season coming. But it looks like it.

"SENOR 8" EPISODE #1225:

Dondi356: Now that explains why Colon is in a hurry to have Corina cremated so quickly. I mean, the dude has always been a freaking WIMP when it came to Corina.

On Crazy Tracy: I think Aurelio will kill her & Benjamin (AKA DEA Lackey) as well. Big question is whether Manzano will try to cover his tracks since he's basically the one, who instigated Corina's demise when he told Crazy Tracy where she was.

Creepy Aguirre needs to be exposed ASAP. I wonder if Ishmael will find out because I gotta think it won't be long before he slowly puts 2 & 2 together. We've already seen the Creep banging BOTH Ritula & Diana, neither of whom still have no idea that he was conniving with Cabo in the deadly attack from Season 7 that resulted in Luzma's demise.

Speaking of Felina: She's the ONLY one to have resisted Aurelio. On that long lost kid: I'm not so sure if that's her transgendered kid or not, but I don't trust that transgendered kid. I mean, her other son was hooked up on drugs & ended up getting killed by Aurelio awhile back this season.

On Karla: Didn't she also sleep with Aurelio too ? It wouldn't surprise me if he's got like more kids from all of the women he's slept with LOL. Mecha needs to TELL THE TRUTH that she's PREGGERS.

I don't see this so-called makeup between SuperJavi & Ritula lasting long because well you know: Creepy Aguirre is still lurking.

If we do get a potential spin-off: I like to see Isabella Castillo (Diana) as the leading protagonist character.

#33 – Parte 1 de 2

We open with Gumchew interviewing Adriana in the hospital. He tries to get her to say she was running away from César. Linda is able to get him to back off. Renata calls to ask him about Adriana, looking nervous.

At the foundation Cami tells Ray that Adriana can take the heat off both César and Tomás by speaking up. Ray thinks Adriana and César could be together trying to get the $5 million ransom. Not sure what Ray really thinks, but he wants Camila to move away from César.

Adriana comes home walking through the crowd of press, looking like a zombie. She barely responds to Noelia’s hug.

When Noelia leaves Adriana alone to shower, she smells an item of clothing and says: “Mariana del Molina, you can help me. Get me away from here!”

After the farewell dinner for Nicole, Ale’s mother, the phoniest family in Los Angeles sit together in the Living Room with glasses of wine. Tomás comes in with Inés, and Renata tries to treat her like the help until Ray reminds the perra that Inés will be a key witness to defend Tomás.

César tries to ask Adriana questions and reminds her of how much Noelia missed her. Why did she make him look guilty? She gets exasperated and tells him that he invented an Adriana as a wife and mother. And he never really knew her.

Gumchew and Linda interview Luisa Ulloa, who says that Adrian knows who kidnapped her and that it was a woman.

Ale pretends to be a good person in the Living Room of Phonies. Tomás wants Adriana to come visit him. (He can't leave the house.)

#33 – Parte 2 de 2

There’s an awkward dinner with Cesar, Adriana, and Noelia. FJ calls César, begging to speak with Adriana. She picks up only to tell him she won’t speak with him. Cami shuts up Nicole, who’s trying to get information, by saying that, yes, she was on the front page of the newspaper kissing César Ferrer.

Rocío comes to see Adriana. Adriana calls Alejandra. She wants away from there and threatens to tell the police and the press who kidnapped her. She says that she left in the first place to resume her past life. She gives Ale 24 hours. Or she’ll get back into bed with FJ, tell him who Alejandra really is. And she’ll end up losing the election and her husband.

Adriana starts to tell Rocío about a person who will help her. Rocío: “Mariana?” Adriana scoffs at this, saying that Mariana is an egotist. Before more can be said César comes in.

Ale orders FJ to stay with her when he tries to pretend he has to have a drink with a client. She tells him he’ll sleep in her bed until the heat for Adriana passes.

César speaks with Cami on the phone. They both say they love the other one. César says he’s sure Adriana will leave Noelia again.

Adriana is tucking Noelia in. No story tonight. She tells her about sleeping in a big room with other kids. She also tells her daughter she needs to learn to forget her.

Rocío tells César that Adriana needs to go. While she’s there, she puts Noelia in danger again. “Someone won’t be happy until blood flows.” Adriana gives Rocío a note while they hug. We see Rocío read it in her car. “If anything happens to me, Senator Alejandra Edwards was my kidnapper.”

Renata offers to save César from going to prison if Camila promises to stay away from him.

César is making up a bed on the sofa. Adriana approaches and embraces him. She says she wants to spend the night sleeping with him, if only for that one night.

juego

ah, thanks so much novelera !!! that was an excellent recap!

I found last nights show interesting, it's like we ended an era and moved on to a new level, the poisoning is done, Adriana was exposed, kidnapped, and now free, etc.

Adriana sure was cool/cold when she got home, I could really see where she has decided to move on and had to slough off any attachments, especially with Noelia, one sheep, two sheep, three sheep...

and with Adriana's clothes gone, some of Mariana's still there, I can see how Mariana is an escape for Adriana, but then there is always a hint that Mariana is a real person.

Senator Ale knows how to play tough but I think when Adriana thru in sleeping with her boyfriend, it all cracked.

interesting how FJ hinted that Pascual's emergency stash was to run away with another woman, instant choke.

Renata is always quick to run down Cesar, lazy, didn't finish the pergola.

hmm, Cesar asks Rocia if Pluto is the killer, of course she doesn't answer, must be the gum.

I've got my eye on Ray too, as a possible Cara, and where is Escobar?

good bye Ale and Ray's mom.

juego

deb, I don't see Ray as Cara Sucia. I have definitely got the impression that Cara Sucia is someone from the orphanage. It's the sort of thing kids would say to each other. And Ray and Alejandra seem to have come from a solid family. We haven't seen their father, but their mother, Nicole, seems well off.

And, seeing Adriana's lack of reaction to GumChew in the hospital gives me doubts he's Cara Sucia either. But...who knows?

"SENOR 8" EPISODE #1226:

I'll be doing a very short mini-recap of tonight's episode sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Steve Boudreaux

juego

Thanks very much, novelera, for this excellent recap. I'm sorry I couldn't comment earlier--I've been out most of the afternoon and evening and just got back.

This episode left me with even more questions, especially toward the end. Why did Rocio say that as long as Adriana is living with César and Noelia, Noelia is in danger? Would someone hurt Noelia to get back at Adriana? Or perhaps Noelia would be collateral damage in an attempt to kill Adriana? Or....???

I was surprised that Adriana passed that note to Rocio letting her know that Alejandra was the kidnapper. Though I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Adriana is doing her best to cover all contingencies, including the possibility that Alejandra may kill her.

I'm not sure I understand why Adriana wants to sleep just this one more time with César. Does she really have feelings for him? She did want to make it very clear when she was freed from captivity that César was innocent. Even so, I wouldn't have thought she'd want to sleep with him. She may well have a plan or a strategy that would involve sleeping with César, but I can't imagine what it is.

FWIW, I can't shake my suspicion that GumChew may be Cara Sucia.

Well, it's almost time for tonight's episode. Perhaps some of my questions will be answered. If so, new ones will undoubtedly take their place.

juego

Thanks for the great recap, Novelera!

No more clues on Cara Sucia...

By the way, here's what we know so far:
- DAMA met Cara Sucia at the orphanage, it was mentioned that he was her only friend.
- Cara Sucia is male.
- DAMA had transferred money to Inés because she was in trouble with some "dangerous people", probably referring to Cara Sucia. Rocío said she should have flown out of the country, if IIRC in the same episode.
- Jacinta had told FJ that she has a hint for Cara Sucia. She asked him for money.
- Somebody (Jacinta I think) said that she overhead a nervous DAMA on the phone with someone, saying that she needs more time and that FJ is getting suspicious (probably talking to Cara Sucia). Pluto interrupted the conversation between Jacinta and FJ.
- FJ thought that Inés was Cara Sucia.
- The reason DAMA send 1 million dollars to Inés was because "some guy in Miami" was blackmailing her.
- There was a picture of a mansion on a seaside hill from a magazine that said "this house can be ours with 1 million dollars", signed as Cara Sucia.
- Rocío said that Cara Sucia wasn't a good influence on DAMA.
- DAMA said that he was the one behind it all (didn't say any name, just "he").
- Luisa, DAMA's kidnapper, said she doesn't know who hired her, but said "jefe" (boss, but the masculine form).
- Lastly, when DAMA was abducted, she started to talking to Cara Sucia (but he was never shown, maybe she has hallucinating or something) and said "I want to help you".

More questions than answers again..

Juego

Weirdo , thank you for that list.

Juanita, like you, I still think that sneaky Elvis is Cara Sucio. In the flashback from the orphanage , young DAMA was watching a little boy being harassed by the other kids.

The more I see of Ale, the less I like her.

Senor

I been watching and I have a few questions from the recent episodes.

1. So Javi's Daughter was killed, and he was in search of her body. That he found. Who killed her and why?

2. Felina is in search of her son? She thinks is the transgender girl. So that has not been cleared up?

3.Whats the deal with creepy Aguirre??? He mentioned being abused when he was away at boarding school. They mention a little of his back story. Zambrana is responsible for the death of his parents. I think he suspects. he looks like he has alot of issues in general

Señor8

I'm not watching this, but noticed the name "Felina" in the comments. I know there was a La Doña/El Señor de los Cielos crossover. Is Felina the same Felina from La Doña 2?

#34 – bare bones

César rejects Adriana’s request to sleep together. I was unclear whether or not she meant sex. Almost seemed like she just wanted to sleep next to him.

Camila tells her mother that she’s una descarada for her plan to separate Cami from César.

Adriana remembers joyously jumping into the ocean in her wedding gown.

FJ and Ale have a big fight when he talks about Adriana. He calls her cold and conniving.

Cami seems to think about Renata’s offer to “save” César from going to prison.

Noelia tells her mother about Cami and César’s relationship – a child’s version.

Inés comes to see Adriana, but she refuses to come see Tomás to help with his defense.

César finds Ray in Alejandra’s house, the place where Cami has been staying.

Big Ed finds out Gumchew has Adriana’s cell phone and is poring through it for clues.

Elvira and Adriana spar.

César comes to the foundation and Cami gently breaks it off, mentioning the benefit to Noelia.

Gumchew and Linda show up to see Adriana. The jerk tries over and over to get her to say that César is a violent guy. She praises him to the skies.

In alternating scenes with Alejandra on Loathsome Vero’s TV show, Ale says César is innocent and a great father. The alternate scenes are more vehement praising by Adriana of César. Gumchew switches up and tries to threaten her. Love the way she stands up to him.

Adriana packs and leaves.

Renata tells Tomás she’d rather he rot in jail than have Adriana darken her door.

Chuy again shows zero self-control and hops into bed with the newlywed.

FJ risks all coming to César’s house past the reporters. Can’t wait to see Ale’s face.

Adriana comes to see Cami at the foundation, remarking that being with César must be good since Cami looks great.

thanks novelera !!!

I guess it's 2-for-1 Thursday, I managed to put together something too.

#34 "Amores incompletos"

here some things,

does Adriana really love her family (even saying goodnight to a picture of them), possibly, but I won't say she isn't crazy, but she sure is clever.

morning comes and where is papi, he's off to cement his love for Cami, and of course Ray answers the door half naked, and Cami reflects on Renata's warning to stay away from Cesar and he'll go free.

Ale is sleeping over at FJ's, she kicks him out of her bed, "your bed FJ asks?".

Momma Elvira and Adriana don't spare the punches till clueless Ines pops in to ask Adriana to swing by to see Tomas, Ines isn't interested in renewing their friendship, Adriana reminds her Renata will kill her if she sets foot in that house.

FJ spills that Adriana doesn't have a phone, GumChew took it to look for past messages, Big Ed chokes.

Noelia returns from school, and where is Adriana, gone.

FJ swings by Cesar's castle to get his explanations, hmm, a day late and a dollar short, as usual.

Ale hunts down Chuy for some marriage relief, he is feeling wanted, Renata sniffs an Ale in the house, see, there is her car.

Mariana shows at the foundation, "OMG", she does that soo well, is Cami happy to see an old friend?

"SENOR 8" EPISODE #1226:

Anon: I had no idea that SuperJavi's daughter got whacked. My gut feeling is that Cabo or one of his cronies killed her.

Something tells me Creepy Aguirre has something planned for Zambrana. Speaking of Zambrana: wasn't the late Ximena Letran (who was portrayed by Ximena Herrera) his daughter because I noticed Ximena's picture at his house from earlier in Season 8.

Weirdo: Felina is the same person, who made a guest appearance on "La Dona 2".

Back to the mini-recap of last night's episode:
*We see highlights from the previous episode showing Colon killing Corina (suicide by so-called lover).

*Gullible Berenice (Bizarro Gaviota 3.0) & Isturiz having sex at the massage parlor. You know someone will notify Psycho Jaime.

*More of Creepy Aguirre & Laura in Cancun: Fast Forward.

*Henchie the Freak smooth-talking Tata in Tijuana. I'm like: Bad feeling she won't be with us.

*Crazy Tracy & Benjamin lurking: OMG! Can someone please kill these two expletives please ?

*Still no appearance from Dahlila.

Novelera and deb, I appreciate both of your recaps. I only saw the first 15 minutes of this show . DAMA has certainly complicated the lives of a lot of people

We have a lot of women trying to be large and in charge ...DAMA, Renata, Ale . They are all exhausting . The character I feel sorry for is Noelia ,poor little girl. Also, Elvira must be suffering watching her son and granddaughter's lives turned upside down . As in real life, one person can affect a lot of other people in either a positive or negative way.

"JUEGO":

Susanlynn: Noelia is the only innocent one in all of this chaos.

juego

Thank you novelera for the recaps and deb for the second one today! It has been busy at work, so I have not been able to comment or help recapping.

It sounds like Mariana might actually be a real person. A long-lost twin perhaps?
Adriana called herself “no one” does she has split personalities?

Like you deb, I like the way Adriana plays Miriana and says “OMG” her English is very good.
Big Ed is definitely concerned with whatever might be on Adriana’s phone.

Juanita and Susanlynn, I also have Gum Chewing Elvis as the Cara Sucia #1 possibility.

Chuy, Chuy, Chuy…at least he took Alejandra to his servant quarters and not the tool shed. Olga is going to have to do some fancy footwork to ensure Renata doesn’t catch them.

I have time tomorrow morning so I will do the recap for the episode tonight.

"JUEGO" EPISODE #34:

VVS: Since we're 46 episodes away from conclusion (unless Telemundo brings it back for a 2nd Season), you & I agree that Adriana will NOT be among the living.

Steve Boudreaux

juego

Muchas gracias, novelera and deb, for the 2-for-1 special.

I too remain confused about Adriana's feelings for César. and for whether she wanted to have sex with him that night or just sleep next to him. Could she have been afraid that whoever is out to get her might turn up at César's house?

I also found puzzling Adriana's statement to César, "If you had done for me one-tenth of what you did for Noelia, I wouldn't have left." As far as I remember, we haven't been shown anything that would justify Adriana's complaint.

I can't decide who I hate more, Alejandra or Renata (GumChew currently comes in a very distant third). Last night, Renata was in first place. She makes it clear to Camila that it doesn't matter whether César is innocent, the del Rios have wealth, contacts, and power. If they want him to be imprisoned, they can make it happen. I loved Cami's response: "Just when I thought I couldn't think worse of you...." As if that weren't enough to make her #1, Mommy Dearest also tells Tomás that she'd rather he rot in jail than have Adriana set foot in the del Rio house.

So what are the odds that Chuy and Alejandra will be found out tonight? Next week? Ever? I understand the appeal someone like Ale would have for Chuy, but the longer their relationship drags on, the less sympathy I have for him. Even shirtless.
