2 suspects,

Luisa has given up Alejandra's name that she heard from Adriana, Marquez suspects it may have been her trying to silence Adriana, and we know that Adriana's 24 hour ultimatum was also up.

Adriana flees and finds refuge at Ines' place where they talk about Rocio's death.

Adriana says,
she was killed by a man who wants me dead.
a man whom I loved very much at one point.
but he became obsessed with me,
because I wasn't compliant and I didn't stay with him

this could be Pascual.

I'll put something up tonight, very brief. This is a bad week for me. The Warriors made it out of the first round, so I've got some basketball to watch.

On Friday we did see a flashback with a little cutie as Adriana in a Catholic orphanage. We saw Rocío coming to visit her and taking her to a pool.

Come on, Adriana, get it over with and out Senator B%$#h. She keeps threatening and it’s getting boring.

Noelia and Cami bond some more. Neither mother ever combed their hair.

Eva offers Pascual some coffee and he throws it on the wall. He gets very rough with her about choosing Renata over him. He starts laughing and looks a bit unhinged.

Cami spent the night in Noelia’s bed. In the morning César tells her for the thousandth time that he loves her. She finally tells him about staying away because of Renata. Things are warming up when Adriana comes on the TV pretending happy families again and Cami scoots out.

DAMAS shows up at Casa del Rio. Somewhere in this conversation she says something about her various personalities.

Ale comes to see FJ at the office. Chuy calls to tell him that DAMAS is at the house. She’s come for money. She tells Renata a powerful guy is after her. Renata looks ready to throw her out when DAMAS says, if she doesn’t get the $, she’ll tell FJ about sleeping with his father.

Ale acts like her threats about their horrible marriage would prevent FJ’s going after Adriana. Ha!

Olga tells Tomás that Adriana is there, and he rushes in. You can see the affection between he and Adriana, while Renata keeps objecting. Tomás tells his mother she’s ruined the lives of her children. He’s going to use the embryos to have a child. Adriana wishes him the best and leaves.

Renata says horrible things to Tomás, and he reminds her that he’s her son. And he tells her that he’ll love his child. The ones who shouldn’t have had children are she and his father. He tells her he’s given up on her.

Of course FJ doesn’t ever get face to face with Adriana. This is getting old.

Ale rails on Chuy for telling FJ about Adriana. She says that he betrayed her. Once more they end up in bed. But, of course, she takes a call from Adriana. More threats. What she wants is for Ale to get her a fake passport.

Thank you deb for the Friday #36 highlights. I am guessing it was a busy weekend for all of us. Just a couple of things to add that might be key moving forward:

Right before the shots came through the window, Adriana tells Rocio that it is the same angry man who has been obsessed with her because he called her “Sirena” in the note that came through the window. Rocio says that it is time for Adriana to tell Cesar who is trying to hurt her. That person has already killed Estela and Jacinta.

As Rocio was dying, DAMAS had a flashback to the orphanage when she first met Rocio and asked her if she was rich like Mariana’s family. It sounds like Mariana was a real person and the “role model” for one of the Mariana personalities.

FJ has Pasqual go to Cesar’s to leave a letter for Adriana. She is not there. Pasqual keeps the letter but reads it at home. FJ also calls Adriana “Sirena” in this sappy letter of love. My poor son, says Pasqual after reading the letter and poor me, for letting this woman entangle and fool us both. Now we have FJ also calling her Siren.

Adriana shows up at Ines’ apartment, destroyed by Rocio’s death. She asks Ines to help her and give her a place to spend the night.

#37: Thank you novelera for the highlights of the episode last night. Pasqual was totally unhinged the way he attacked Eva and then laughed so hysterically.

DAMAS was speaking with Ines via phone saying that as hard as she has tried to leave it appears that God wants her to stay. Ines says. So you believe in God? Yes, says DAMAS, “I have always believed in God. It is the one thing all my personalities have in common.”
I have to say I got a chuckle out of the outfit DAMAS borrowed from Ines. Ines sure likes those linty sweaters.

"SENOR 8" EPISODE #1229:

Darcy, Novelera, Juanita, Halimacandy, Anon, Weirdo, Vicky, Kirby, OSS, VVS, Jarifa, Dondi 356 & Co.,: Howdy from the Alamo City Caray Caray family: here's my mini-recap of last night's episode.

Once Tata said "Viva la Fiesta", I knew something awful was going to happen when the first shot was fired BANG! Causing her to fall to the ground as the drummer of the band calmly got up from the drum-sets & ran for his life along with the other band members.

The Casillas family & Co., immediately began packing heat & opened fire at Henchie's group of thugs, who kept firing at everyone in sight.

Felina's transgendered kid got shot too in the stomach, right in front of Felina, who now has lost 2 kids in Season 8.

Meanwhile, Aurelio, Vitaminas & Creepy Bearded Dude were busy talking with Professor Said at her house. Said's mother took the money that Aurelio originally gave Said a few episodes earlier.

Over in Mexico City: Creepy Aguirre & Diana have another long sex escapade. She's got a juicy naked body LOL.

In the meantime over in Cancun: Psycho Jaime & Gullible Berenice at their house: FAST FORWARD.

Dahlila has flashbacks of Ismael kissing her while she was dreaming inside Alfaro's office since she was all alone inside the office LOL.

Mecha calls one of her kids I think over the phone while she was sitting at the table inside her house in Mexicali. Earlier in the episode, she was speaking with Aurelio before being interrupted by Professor Said, etc.,

More shooting as the Casillas Family & Co., fire back at Henchie's group of thugs as we see these thugs dropping like flies. In the meantime, Crazy Tracy masquerading as Zambrana's niece (whom she killed way back) is hiding for cover behind the bartender's table as she sees Henchie getting ready to open fire at one of the Casillas family members.

Crazy Tracy, in order to avoid attracting suspicion, shoots one of the thugs from behind.

Felina holds her transgendered kid, who ultimately dies: RIP.

Laura is applying pressure to the gunshot wound that Tata sustained earlier. Law enforcement officers (who get paid off by SuperJavi when they were asking what happened) FINALLY arrive at the nightclub. Plus Aurelio FINALLY shows up after being notified of what happened: looks like Colon reveals to Aurelio that Crazy Tracy is the same person, who's masquerading as Zambrana's niece & no shocker: Aurelio goes off unhinged & crazy! Looks like both Crazy Tracy & Benjamin will NOT be among the living as we're in the closing stretch of Season 8 with 20 days to go.

it's confusing that Pascual and now FJ call Adriana Sirena and I think Renata even called her a siren, but I don't think Adriana ever used that name herself.

hmm, Ale's fear about Adriana talking, the kidnapping and such, Chuy knows nothing about, right?

I think the Hell Adriana was referring too was the club, and indicated that Ale might be asked for favors that only a Senator could do, I can see Ale going down the drain, hardly worthy of a small house with a garden.

that was interesting when Adriana referred to her other personalities, it implies that she uses them rather than being used by them like a totally crazy person.

yes, Pascual's tirade on Eva was something, he wants her back in the game 100%, not halfway, also his description of Adriana I found interesting,

"Adriana is a woman who wanders through life
and never goes anywhere.
she's a woman who doesn't know how to love"

oh and at the end, GumChew shows at Renata's and spills it's likely Alejandra was the kidnapper and he won't be able to squash it.

(when do we get to see Olga cleaning out the gum from underneath all the chairs and tables)

he has been constantly stopping Marquez, like when she was curious about the letter Pascual had at Cesar's, and how she wanted to question Ale about the kidnapping.

So...now Siren appears . Pasqual seems to have a pretty good analysis of DAMAS. She is everywhere with everyone all the time. I still don't see how she missed Chuy since she bounced into Pasqual, FJ, and Tomas. How could she miss Chuy?

I like Camila becoming a mother figure to Noelia. This little girl has been through a lot.

Thanks very much, novelera, for your concise and helpful recap. I don't have much to add. I really liked your describing Pascual as "unhinged" in the scene with Eva and the coffee. His behavior really surprised me.

I enjoyed the scene between Tomás and Renata. For once, Tomás doesn't crumble before Renata's insults. He stands up to her and lets her know what a miserable job she has done as a mother.

OK, so we've seen FJ following the car Adriana is driving. I don't think he lost sight of the car, so when could Adriana have been able to drive to Ines's place, return the car, and instruct Ines to somehow get the car in FJ's line of sight? Even Telenovela Magic must have its limits. Or so I thought, until this scene.

deb, when I read your remarks about Friday's episode, I wasn't convinced by your suggestion that Pascual could be the man Adriana had once been in love with until he became obsessed with her "because I wasn't compliant and I didn't stay with him." However, Pascual's behavior toward Eva in last night's episode makes me wonder whether perhaps you're on to something. He was furious with Eva for not being totally loyal to him and doing what he had ordered her to do. In other words, Eva "wasn't compliant" and "didn't stay with him." And he becomes totally unhinged. (Again?) Hmmm... Is Cara Sucia another red herring?

Thanks for the appreciation, guys. Something about Sirena has been kicking around in the back of my brain. I don't think it's an exact cognate of the English usage as a sexy and irresistible woman. Back in the day the word sirens was used to describe glamorous Hollywood actresses like Lana Turner and Ava Gardner.

The Spanish dictionary translates sirena as siren and also as mermaid. Mermaid could easily have been a nickname for DAMAS because, when she first went missing, IIRC, either or both César and FJ, mentioned what a great swimmer she was and how unlikely she'd have drowned. Later the blood, that still hasn't been explained, was revealed to those two.

Also her nickname could very easily refer to the sirens in the Odyssey that tried to lure sailors onto the rocks. DAMAS lured, at the very least, Pascual and FJ into infidelity.

Felina’s first “son” turned out to be a fake. Was there ever confirmation that Vanessa was Felina’s real long lost son?

That was one weird sexcapade with Aguirre and Diana. She was recording him undressing. Looked like he cut his hand and he smeared her neck and face with blood.

Psycho Jaime is looking to hook up with guys. Swipe left and then… picked one.

Mecha contacted both her sons. She wants to visit them, catch up and she’d really like to leave the country for a while.

I expect more craziness tonight.

#38 "Mariana Stanford"

Renata offers money to GumChew to help with Ale, but he says there is nothing he can do.

Cami goes off on Ines about how she suspects Adriana of killing Estela and Jacinta, Ray swings by to warn off Cami from seeing Cesar and ruining the perfect family (go away Ray).

Ale has Chuy drive her to the club, Princess of the Devil, or as Adriana calls it, Hell, where a funeral for Rocio is taking place, Pluto (also known as Ignacio Cardenas) is his slimiest, (and Ale wears her whitest suit) in exchange for the passport she will have to get the police off his back, and of course be one of his Devil's Dolls, Chuy meanwhile has taken the gun from the ever bungling doorman and backs up her withdrawal. She leaves with a blank passport.

FJ tells Renata his marriage is over (so soon?)

Ines is proud of Tomas for standing up to his mom and offers to be his surrogate mother, no, no, Tomas was going to use someone he didn't know, we'll see.

Cesar sets up an interview with Vero, so he can tell his side of the story, (and all the principle characters have there laptops on and tuned in), and in spite of the snake's (as Ines referred to Vero) interjection of Adriana's version of the perfect family, and the kiss with Camila that hit the news, Cesar spills it as it is, his marriage was over 2 months ago, he loves Camila.

Camila melts on the spot, doesn't even watch the end of the interview, and rushes to his side, Cesar had Elvira take Noelia away, the sheets are smoking, forever was the word I heard describing things.

Mariana Stanford (Adriana) is traveling light and checks into a classy hotel in San Diego, showers and champagne, and calls FJ, lets meet tomorrow at the amusement park, and don't tell anyone, including your father. Pascual sees the light in his eyes and drags out all the details.

Renata sits down with Ale, about the kidnapping..., Ale tries to deflect it, but Renata explains how the police are going to run with it, if you tell me the truth maybe I can help you, Renata says, so Ale gives in, and I think they both agree, Adriana needs to disappear before she ruins everything.

Dondi356: I doubt Vanessa was Felina's transgendered kid. I mean get some DNA swabs & call Maury Povich.

Now about Psycho Jaime: GROSS. I left the room when they showed him doing that disgusting crap, which tells me he's picking up where BPN left off 🤢

Diana still has no idea Creepy Aguirre is bad news. I thought she was the smartest Amuhada sister LOL ?

More flashbacks of Corinna Saldana.

Pompeyo survived getting shot in the right arm. He's TEFLON!

Colon calling Aurelio by telling him Crazy Tracy was masquerading as Zambrana's niece. Big question is whether Manzano will try to warn Crazy Tracy & Benjamin ?

Renata's voice is lower than any of the men's. These guys have their hands full with Renata, Ale, and DAMAS. They all have agendas . The guys all look flummoxed .

Thanks ladies for the recaps! I am behind again, sigh…. I have just been too busy and too tired to watch a show I have to pay such close attention to! Lol so much easier to put on something that is basically background noise and space out. I will try to catch up over the weekend so I can contribute to the conversation more.

I had a theory last week that Adriana might actually be Pascual’s daughter since he could have called his daughter, mi amor, and we were looking for some connection outside of the predictable lover scenario. But based on the recaps it appears that they were lovers after all….how cliché and predictable.

I do not have much to add. We are all confused where this story is going. I will say, I thought Chuy looked even more handsome in a collared shirt with sleeves.

novelera, I meant to thank you for looking up all the definitions of “Siren.” I initially took the meaning as a mermaid but the Odyssey sirens who lured sailors to their death seems more appropriate these days.

Excellent recap, deb. I am amazed at how you can hit the high points and put in your usual clever asides. ITA on "go away Ray". He looked half crazy last night trying to get Cami to believe GumChew's fraudulent making the $1 million look like it was César's.

I also loved "ever bungling doorman". Let's see: César, DAMAS, and now Chuy have wrested away his gun.

I'm happy to see Tomás appearing to be on his way to recovery. Calling out his toxic mother was terrific. Let's hear it for those embryos. And he was touched by Inés' offer to be his surrogate but didn't want to take advantage of her. He ticked off some of the difficulties with being pregnant. [Amen!]

Excellent job by César in fending off Verónica la Vibora. She was SO determined to get something that would go along with her theory that DAMAS left because he had been an wife beater. She kept giving her audience that "Come on!" look at nearly everything he said. But she seemed outmatched at the end. César could have done a slightly better job in explaining the time frame of when he fell for Cami. But he did mention that, thinking it over since she left, he'd realized their marriage was over long before.

Deb, I also loved "smoking sheets".

So, Mariana Stanford set up a dinner for that evening and it sounded to me like it could be with the mystery man. We've been salivating trying to figure out who the Big Baddie is. Could we maybe find something out tonight?

Pascual looked a bit demented when he managed to get FJ to tell him about their meeting at the amusement park the next day. Can't figure out how this is going to go. He can't really show up the same time as FJ and out himself. And is he the Big Baddie DAMAS is having dinner with that evening? I'm not really buying it.

Loved the theory about Pascual being DAMAS' father, but that one looks off the table. One clue was his checking every hair was in place when he went to the house where she was staying. Fathers don't usually care that much about their appearance in front of their daughters. At least mine didn't! Great dad, well read, but not exactly a fussy dresser!

I am working on a quick highlight reel for the episode last night.

#39: Just some quick highlights please fill in what I missed:

Ale finds FJ still at the office and tries to make nice, calling him “my love” and wondering if they cannot start over. He shuts her down. Later at the apartment, FJ is passed out on the couch and Ale figures out the password “Adriana” to his computer. His search history shows ticket sales for the amusement park in San Diego. Ale’s hamster wheels start churning. She is now Suspect #1.

Cesar wakes up, cuddling Cami, because he hears the doorbell. It is Pluto with a fake passport. Sounds like DAMAS (or Ale or Chuy?) convinced him to put it together but according to Pluto, Adriana only trusts Cesar to deliver the passport to her at the amusement park in San Diego. Pluto is now Suspect #2.

Cesar and Cami have a romantic breakfast. She is with him regardless of the situation with Adriana. Cesars mom arrives after dropping Noelia off at school. She is happy to see Cami. Manuel, the carpenter helper arrives to take care of the abuela and Noelia while Cesar runs off to give Adriana the passport in San Diego.

DAMAS has an encounter with the fashion designer at the hotel. I don’t think he is a suspect.

Tomas accepts Ines as his baby incubator.

Renata has been trying to find Pascual all morning long. According to Olga, he left very early. Eva does not know where he is either. Pasqual is suspect #4.

At the carnival looking amusement park, FJ finally sees DAMAS. He is thrilled. She removes her sunglasses and gun shots ring out and hit her in the chest and side. FJ is devastated holding her in his arms while she bleeds out.

Cesar is also at the park and sees the commotion of people running. He sees FJ with Adriana being loaded into the ambulance. As it drives away, Cesar sees someone in a bunny suit climb down from one of the billboard platforms. The bunny is wearing a backpack that Noelia and Cesar gave Adriana (we see this in a flash back). Cesar chases after the bunny who moves pretty quickly through the park leaving the bunny suit and the backpack with a gun in the fun house.

Manuel tells Cesar to get the heck out of there. Having that false passport is a federal crime.

At the hospital, FJ is devastated again as Adriana dies. (I have to say I was surprised she died).

Renata is still looking for Pasqual and tells Olga to find Chuy. Chuy is not home but out running errands. I think we need to add Renata as suspect #5 and Chuy doing her bidding as suspect #6.

Ray angrily confronts Cami again about being with Cesar. She tells him that she is going to stay with Cesar regardless of what Ray or her mother think.

Cami arrives at the Zoo and encounters the hateful Renata who says a lot of horrible things to Cami. She will not allow Cami back into the house because she is an embarrassment. Cami leaves determined to prove Cesar innocent.

Pasqual finally arrives back in the office. He is definitely acting strangely. Eva tries to make nice with him again, but he will never forgive her. He kicks her out of the office. He reaches into his pocket and removes the amusement park entry ticket. He tosses it into the trash. Another red herring or was it really Pasqual who shot DAMAS?

Detective Marquez lets GumChew know that the person killed at the park was Adriana as the episode ends.

 

"SENOR 8" EPISODE #1230:

Dondi356, Anon, OSS, VVS, Darcy, Weirdo, Juanita, Susanlynn, Vicky, UA, Jarifa, Novelera, RGV Chick, Deb & Co.,: Howdy from the Alamo City (San Antonio, TX). Here's a mini-recap of last night's episode.

*Aurelio & Co., at Tata's nightclub in Tijuana vote to kill Crazy Tracy upon Colon telling Aurelio over the phone from the previous episode about Crazy Tracy masquerading as Zambrana's niece.

*Over in Cancun, Alfaro is on vacation meeting with Psycho Jaime. We're see more plotting & scheming for power as Psycho Jaime's campaign for the Presidency in 2024 continues.

*DEA Mexico: Colon & Manzano arguing over typical strategies, etc., in front of Castillo & Dahlila.

*Back to Tijuana: We see Aurelio walking out of the nightclub after seeing the vehicle with Crazy Tracy & Benjamin inside. Benjamin STUPIDLY gets out of the vehicle when Aurelio whacks the DEA Lackey: BANG! Benjamin gets killed off HORRAY, right in front of Crazy Tracy, who's freaked out & she drives off.

*The Casillas Family & Co., chase Crazy Tracy's scared ass LOL. I am going to enjoy watching her death scene whenever that time comes. She's so freaked out that she calls Manzano to tell him what happened.

*Ismael, Isturiz, Grenas & Co., join in the fun too as they track down Crazy Tracy's whereabouts as the Casillas Family & Co., continue their manhunt of Crazy Tracy.

*Ritula meets with Creepy Aguirre in his high-rise penthouse apartment/office in Mexico City. What could possibly go wrong ?

*SuperJavi & Sidekick what's his face taking a typical drive in Mexico City, talking about the Good Ole Days, etc.,

*Leonardo hands the phone to Isidro & Humberto, who speak with SuperJavi via speakerphone.

*Crazy Tracy tells Manzano, who might've sold her & Benjamin out to the Casillas Family, etc., let's see how that'll work out.

*Said & Scruffy Bearded Dude driving somewhere.

*Castillo, Dahlila, Colon, Manzano, DEA Mexico & Co., are waiting to capture SuperJavi in an attempt to arrest him for something.

*Felina, Bearded Dude, Isturiz, Ismael & Co., find Crazy Tracy's vehicle & chase her expletive down the middle of the town square. She escapes for now, but I can guarantee you her days are so NUMBERED.

*SuperJavi & What's His Face are apprehended by the Federal law enforcement authorities. It's assumed that he would surrender.... but SuperJavi grabs a gun from the holster of one of the DEA agents & threatens to shoot him if they don't let him leave.

*Manzano, Castillo, Dahlila & Co., have their guns pointed at SuperJavi, whom I've got a gut feeling won't be around much longer, but could we see a major twist in tonight's upcoming episode ? We'll find out soon enough.

*Previews for tonight's upcoming episode show SuperJavi bidding Ritula some sort of a farewell. Uh-oh: What could this mean ? Yet nobody has even tried to expose Creepy Aguirre & take him & Henchie down yet. I'm going to assume that'll be dragged out for Season 9.

would she have set up Cesar, to be there with FJ?

the backpack was Adriana's but she left the house with nothing, was the bunny just to setup Cesar? of 2 suspects, Renata didn't seem clued in and Ale doesn't seem smart enough, but then her getaway driver Chuy was also missing.

and Pluto's call to Cesar, was it to make sure he was in position?

and that first call from her hotel room that novelera reminded us about, who was that and what did they meet about?

ha, so Pascual won't drink coffee made at home. Interesting how he thinks he is so much smarter than everyone else, as he throws his park ticket into the office trash.

I’m also worried about Super Javi. It’s the over emphasis on the happy family (Javi, Ruti and the boys) leaving the narco life to go legit that’s a clue to impending disaster.

I enjoyed Rutila standing her ground against Aguirre, but if something happens to Javi….

Did Jaime tell Alfaro that Bere was an obstacle?

Benjamin was an expendable idiot.

Whoever the bunny is, had access to DAMAS stuff because I don't remember her taking anything either time she went missing. Now Cesar and Noelia did donate her clothes to charity but that is a stretch that random killer would know what Good Will to go to and find that precise backpack. I give these writers credit. The killer is right under our nose or some bigger plot fish we have yet to see.

I am looking forward to seeing the Casillas family finding out that Creepy Aguirre was involved in the attack that killed Luzma from Season 7. Plus, I've got a feeling we'll be seeing Cabo striking again very soon with 18 days before the end of Season 8.

Well, we started off thinking that DAMAS was dead and wondered if someone had killed her . Then....surprise, she appears. But now someone has killed her...a big, bad bunny . ha. These writers are all over the place.

WOW, VVS, what a spectacular recap!! I was especially impressed (and appreciative) that you pulled together all the usual (and unusual) suspects.

I'm thinking that Pascual's throwing the amusement park ticket into the trash is a red herring. Had he really been the one to shoot Adriana, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have been careless enough to put the ticket in the very visible trash. Another even stronger reason I doubt that Pascual was in the bunny suit is that the bunny ran away quite rapidly, more rapidly than I can imagine Pascual could manage.

My worry, of course, is that the backpack will lead the trail back to César. Arrgh.

I too was quite surprised that Adriana died. This was episode 39--out of 80, IIRC. That means we're only halfway through the novela. Will the backpack result in umpteen episodes of César in jail before the real killer is identified?

I was quite moved by the scene between Ines and Tomás where he accepts her offer to be the surrogate mother. My hope is that they'll have a HEA ending and she'll wind up really being the mother (biological or not) of Tomás' child.

I'm still totally in the dark about Who Killed Adriana. I do think the writers are doing a splendid job, keeping us guessing through at least 39 episodes.

I agree with you Juanita that the bunny did not have the Big Ed build and moved very quickly. Like Chuy might move, JK. I actually thought the slender build and movements looked like a woman but the men’s black shoes took that thought out of my mind. I also think the amusement park ticket is a red herring.

Thank you for highlighting the scene with Ines and Tomas, it was well done.

I am sure Cesar is being framed for this yet again.

First of all, I will recap tonight.

VVS, thanks SO much for your excellent, short recap. It was a master class in how to do one. I think some people may be intimidated by the long, detailed ones and reluctant to jump into the pool with us. We don't have to be in the deep end; we can splash around in the shallow water.

I loved the list of suspects. Ale never occurred to me. But, of course, she found out where FJ was meeting DAMAS.

I'm sure she's dead, unless there really is a Mariana Stanford twin.

Ray...Pffft. I was glad Cami gave him a piece of her mind for his consistent, deranged attempt to get her to move away from César. Can't tell if it's jealousy or something else.

Renata, if she survives the novela, won't have a single child by her side. Not only did she forbid Cami from being in her house as long as she is with César, she forbade her that one time from seeing Tomás. She needs some really bad juju coming down on her head. Her insane desire to have each of her children obey her at all times is driving me nuts.

I also thought the bunny was too small to be Pascual. I'm not suspecting Chuy either. Could it be another assassin hired by the Big Baddie, who may or may not be Pascual? I can't see Ale risking her senate seat. The shooter could have been apprehended at the scene.

I am definitely baffled. But the minute she was shot, I knew that César was going to be incriminated. The question for me is whether Cami will stick with him. He swore never to lie.

I'm finally catching up this afternoon. There are 100 other things I SHOULD be doing but I'm out of steam...thank you all for all the recent recaps! All the twists keep twisting and the turns get sharper!!!

I do think of all the options we've seen so far Chuy is the most bunny like - but I don't think he was THE bunny. It's a large jump from amante to cold blooded murder and he's always been so quick to push FJ at DAMAS because he clearly wanted DAMAS to break up FJ and Ale, I don't think he could have been convinced to her DAMAS instead overnight. I suspect the bunny is someone we haven't met yet, or a hired gun for someone we do know.

I still suspect Ray as Cara Sucia!!! I know that the established family and well off background doesn't fit - but I think Ale's picture perfect family is as fake as the rest of her life and manufactured for the political career??? I don't know....I'm probably wrong but it's staying at the top of my crockpot theories.

There's a couple of things I noticed that I haven't seen mentioned I wanted to comment on:

First, when around was running away and Cesar dropped the fake passport and the girl picked it up and gave it back to him and told him he needed to leave, the camera purposefully zeroed in on her name tag - it has to be important later....right?! LOL Her name is Bernice Lopez.

Second, 'Mariana' didn't seem to recognize FJ at the Park or respond to his calling her, or respond to the name 'Mariana'. Even once she was looking at him she didn't show any recognition in her face or any response to him. We see 'DAMAS' earlier running into the fashion designer and claiming she didn't know him or have any idea what he was talking about. DAMAS is capable of feigning all sorts of things of course, but what if that truly wasn't her? It's back to the twin theory, but for now at least I am not convinced that was DAMAS that was shot....what is DAMAS was in the bunny suit???
