Very, very late to the party. Thanks, deb, for a really funny, snarky recap.
I had mentioned in my Tues recap that I thought Mariana was the one adopted, and it came to pass. And Mariana ended up in Florida. That was Adriana's story, that she was a rich person in Miami. But she didn't use Mariana Stanford, rather another last name, which is gone from my memory.
Well, Renata is toast. No one gets away with murder in a TN. She's not all that cold blooded, though. She didn't plan to kill her and was totally shaken. Cynthia did a good job of trembling hands as she tried to put on lipstick.
If they're hinting that Big Ed was the father of the baby given away, then his Guy Parts definitely got around. I don't think Valeria's baby could be Tomás. Chuy is more likely. I have had the impression that Big Ed has no idea about Valeria's baby having been given away. And wouldn't someone have noticed if Tomás showed up with no Renata pregnancy?
Well, Chuy is an idiot. How could he be an accomplice to covering up murder? And down on the floor cleaning up the blood. Really?
I'll be posting the recap of tonight's episode sometime tomorrow morning.

*We go back to seeing Grenas, Vitaminas & Creep Scruff cooking food LOL.
*Aurelio & Professor Said discussing something intriguing.

*Alan's wife & daughter are there inside Miraflores Palace in Caracas.

*Dahlila on the laptop while Alfaro drinks some tequila or whiskey shots.
*Professor Said gives Aurelio some teaspoon of something tasty. Could we be seeing them making love soon ?
*No appearance from Tata, Ritula or Laura last night.
*More of Karla & Castillo talking at her penthouse apartment.

*The moment gets ruined when Psycho Jaime shows up & calls out Isturiz & Diana by asking them what are they're doing here: Uh-oh Isturiz: you better watch your back dude.

I'll be doing a very short mini-recap of tonight's episode & it'll be posted very, very late this evening 😎

Following up on what deb just posted, it does indeed seem as if Juego de mentiras is being moved to midnight starting on Monday, and Secretos de sangre will run for 2 hours, from 9-11 PM, beginning on Tuesday. However, the Telemundo program guide claims that on Wednesday, Juego de mentiras will be shown at 10 pm, and Secretos de sangre will run from 9-10pm. I should add that both Zap2It and the Comcast/Xfinity program guide show Juegos running at midnight from now on, and Secretos running for 2 hours a day beginning Tuesday.
#50 – Entierro sin Funeral – parte 1 de 2
Adriana uses Eva’s phone to text FJ and tells Pascual that she’ll drive Eva’s car on “her” way.
What Barros wants at the prison is for César to plead guilty the next day. He threatens to charge Camila if he doesn’t.
Renata looks a bit drunk and defends herself in front of her three children for getting rid of Tomás’s embryos. She tells them if they don’t turn the page on this, they can just get out of HER house.
Cesar’s new cellmate tells him he should plead guilty.
Valeria toasts her nephews and niece for surviving Renata. She says that her sister betrayed her. And…it’s not the first time Renata got rid of a baby. She tells them about her father and Renata taking her baby and giving it up for adoption.
Olga is putting away laundry and discovers Eva’s body in Renata’s bathroom.
I am truly sick of the humble “lower classes” like Olga and Elvira who are portrayed as totally intimidated by the rich jerks. Olga agrees with RR, in front of Camila, that her scream was because she saw a spider.
Valeria says that the father of her baby was a boy, an artist who didn’t want to be a father. She goes on to say that her baby was a few months younger than FJ.
Renata talks Olga out of calling the police. Looks like Renata won’t get her just desserts until the bitter end. Pascual looks at Eva’s corpse and looks sad.
Chuy and Pascual sneak Eva’s body out, while Renata orders Olga to return to her room. She’s buried…somewhere.
Tomás and Inés almost do the deed. They are at least undressed in her bed. But the vision of the prostitute comes back to haunt him.
Pascual makes nice with Renata, and it seems to be working.
César gets beaten up in the shower by three thugs.
#50 – Entierro sin Funeral – parte 2 de 2
César’s day in court. Cami and Elvira notice the state of his face. Cami approaches and begs him to plead guilty for Noelia’s sake. He pleads not guilty.
Ale asks Chuy to seduce Lucy again and keep her from ruining Ale’s campaign. Gah!
FJ is searching Chuy’s room and finds the bracelet with Ale’s initials on it. He also finds Chuy’s black gloves he used when he threatened Eva.
Camila shows up at César’s house to help comfort Noelia. And Elvira doesn’t throw her out. Another example of wimpy women. If some woman refused to believe MY son, I’d throw her out on her ear.
TEAM LINDA!!! She comes to visit César. She wants to help him leave this place. [is she thinking of a prison break?]. She tells him about Renata getting Barros the job in LA.
FJ catches Chuy and Ale in Chuy’s room kissing. Chuy gets a well-deserved punch in the mouth.
Adriana listens to Eva’s voice on her phone and calls FJ imitating it.
Adriana is headed for Canada, in Eva’s car, wearing a red wig. She calls Pascual to let him know what she’s doing.
Since Adriana isn’t around, Pascual suggests a little getaway with Renata. She tells him he’s the man who deceived her more times than she can even count, beginning with her own sister. She accuses him of being the lover of Mariana Stanford, telling him about the tickets.
Chuy tells FJ that he, Camila, and Tomás were good to him when he was adopted, but he was damaged where he was before. [Sounds like he wasn’t a baby when Olga got him.] FJ reminds him about what he did with Tomás’s embryos and screams at him to leave.
Pascual tells Renata that, yes, he was going to Madrid. But what she did for him (preventing Eva from telling FJ about his thing with Adriana) has caused him to change his thinking. Looks like he’s seduced his own wife.
Ale whines to Chuy about her campaign going down the tubes if FJ goes public. He says he’d do anything for her and reminds her of when he kidnapped Adriana Molina for her!
Dondi356, Waterlily, Halimacandy, Weirdo, Jarifa, Anon, OS, VVS, Kirby, UA, Susanlynn, Novelera, Deb, Vicky, SpanProf & Co.,: Howdy from the Alamo City folks. Here's my super short recap of last night's episode.
*Berenice pours Psycho Jaime some tequila shots as he continues to insult both Isturiz & Diana.
*Diana & Isturiz pretend to be a "couple". Something tells me Psycho Jaime will figure out Berenice was banging Isturiz.
*Crazy Tracy still chained up like a dog inside Zambrana's house. Creepy Aguirre & Zambrana leave her there LOL.
*Over at the Casillas Family Ranch: Laura is getting on my damn nerves as she keeps nagging & threatens to move out when Aurelio & Co., stop her.
*Ismael & Dahlila enjoying their sex escapade. I wouldn't mind seeing them as a couple in Season 9 😃

another wonderful recap novelera, you are so good at this!
as usual, I'm not totally sold on Camila, her thing for hugs and snuggles is almost like an addiction, later with Cesar who is in prison but on to Noelia and Elvira, begging Cesar to plead guilty was a bit much.
is Ray still here, does anyone even talk to him, you wouldn't know he had a sister.
Linda is so cool, I really like her, she even passed as a dancer at Pluto's club and brought everyone to their knees when she had to, she's pretty by the book, I don't think she'll work a jail break, I think she will pull the rug out from under Elvis (that was a pretty impressive bubble he blew)
and now there is a big arrow pointing at Chuy, has Cara shown his face, he was adopted and he set up Adriana's kidnapping, (how did he meet a hired killer like Luisa, internet?) but... is he the vicious killer that has killed 3 women, hmm, even when he confronted FJ he held his ground until FJ brought up killing the embryos, when guilt made him back off, and killing Lucy would have solved that problem, we'll have to see where that goes.
Cara seems to have a motive here that doesn't really fit Chuy, I think Mariana was set up so Cara would think he killed Adriana.
Uh oh ...is Chuy Cara Sucio !!!! Looks like roaming, busy Pascual is his dad. This guy got around and around and around.
Thank you, Novelera , for a great recap of all the drama and doom.
These new telenovelas have turned the tables with strong, unscrupulous women controlling infatuated, obsessed men . Chuy has been played by both Ale , whom he is obsessed with , and Renata ,his boss. Pasqual is a player who has also been played my women . This story is a tangled , sordid stew .
I hope Linda pops Mr. Bubble . This guy gets more and more annoying . Linda is the hero!
Thanks VERY much, novelera, for another terrific recap!
I was afraid that César would plead guilty, especially after Camila joined the "Plead Guilty" chorus. I was delighted when he held his ground and insisted that he was innocent.
And sign me up for TEAM LINDA!! However, I don't think she's envisioning a prison break. We've already seen how next-to-impossible it was for César to try to flee. It would be at least as bad were he to be on the run again.
Valeria said a number of interesting things in this episode. She says that the father of her baby boy was a young artist who had no interest in being a father. It's true that Renata accuses Pascual of cheating on her with scores of women, "starting with my own sister," but "young artist" sure doesn't seem to point to Pascual as the father.
Though the father of Valeria's baby is IMHO still unrevealed, we do learn for sure that Chuy was adopted, though perhaps, as you suggest, he was not an infant when the adoption took place. Still, my money is definitely on Chuy as Valeria's kidnapped son.
Yes, subservient Olga wimped out again, but as disappointed as I was, I can understand her fear--fear not just for her job but also for her life. And later, when Renata and Olga are alone, Renata tells her, "If I go to prison, so too will Chuy. He was my accomplice." I strongly doubt that Olga is going to spill.
I'm not sure why Adriana tells Pascual that she's going to go to Canada in Eva's car. Yes, it may make sense for Adriana to drive around town so that people can assume that Eva is alive and well, but why go to Canada? To enter Canada, wouldn't she have to provide various forms of Eva's ID?
Adriana sees César on TV, insisting on his innocence. I wonder whether she will do something extraordinary to save him.
I have to add that I'm really annoyed that Telemundo seems to be shoving Juego into the midnight garbage can. It's still not clear to me whether this is just a two-day move or a more permanent one, one that will permit the network to show the new Turkish novela Secretos de Sangre for two hours every night. Most signs point to the latter. Sigh.
Adriana will need to get Eva's passport to drive from the U.S. to Canada now. Years ago, you didn't need a passport to drive across the border. Those days are gone.
Thanks Novelera for the amazing recap!
I'm also glad that César pleaded innocent.
I'm also not convinced that Pascual is the father of Valeria's baby. Perhaps it was a red herring. As Juanita said, "young artist" doesn't really fit Pascual.
"Ale asks Chuy to seduce Lucy again and keep her from ruining Ale’s campaign." At this point I don't know which one is worse, Ale or Chuy.
Tbh I don't like the twin plot line. Maybe it would have been better if it was revealed sooner, but for some reason I don't like it with how the story turned out.
Telemundo putting Juego de Mentiras at midnight: wtf?
I'll be doing the long recap of Season 8 Finale tomorrow night.
Steve Boudreaux
Sorry folks, I've run into problems. The Telemundo y Más page was set to be up by now, but it hasn't appeared. Not sure why not.
