I am re-posting my comments on VVS's recap. I posted it so late because I was out and about most of the day. I wanted to be sure she saw my thanks!

Fantastic recap, VVS. I also loved "Ale looks like she needs to eat some prunes"! It's taking too long IMHO for Ale to be outed for having Adriana kidnapped and for the fake rescue.

I concur that Pascual did not kill Adriana. If he had really done so, I doubt he'd have told Renata. The two of them do not trust each other. Although I do think that Pascual thinks he has the upper hand. We've seen RR's tears well up several times about Pascual. Some part of her still loves him.

As I said in a comment yesterday, I'm rooting for the embryos, so I was delighted when Ale popped into the restaurant to confound Chuy's plan, whatever it was. Did Renata ask him to somehow compromise the embryos, pulling them out of the freezer or something? But it looks like Tomás' kids are safe for tonight.

Also liked the Ladies Detective Agency (but it's not #1, like in the books that take place in Botswana?).

ITA about Cami's reckless behavior in insisting on knowing where César is. I'm also nervous about Noelia, fearing she'll call Elvira when César is in the bathroom or some such.

I'm hoping César and the others can chill Cami out.

#45 "La ruta del amor"

on the phone, Cami tells Cesar she wants to be with him, Cesar won't risk putting her in danger, quietly hangs up.

Pascual (as some have mentioned) appears to be trying to pass the Eva problem off on Renata, she whispers in his ear, kill Her.

Cami sleeps in Cesar's bed, surrounded by smells and memories, of course, the picture Cesar sent to Elvira through Manuel.

Ale and Chuy are back home, giddy and teasing, Ale liked her first dinner with Chuy in public, Chuy thinks she should be punished, she agrees and in walks Renata.

Renata rips on Ale who doesn't bend, after what your son did to me I deserve a little fun, and in walks FJ, the subject changes, Ale takes FJ off to bed.

Renata rips on Chuy who didn't accomplish the mission since Ale interrupted things, he bends.

Ale is sweet talking FJ but he thinks they are drifting apart (ya think) but he's ready for some action, Ale's not so hot for a good mauling but plays along.

next day, Ray finally shows and we along with Tomas and Ines learn the decision is in, Tomas is innocent (this wasn't a zoom trial was it?)

the bad news is that the judge issued a warrant for Cesar's arrest.

Renata and Ale bump heads, RR talks on what a good catch FJ is, Ale on that he doesn't love her, it was just a marriage to get a Senator in the family, alright but RR wants one more favor, get GumChew his LAPD job, besides he knows you kidnapped Adriana and could put you in prison.

(she already has favors she owes to Pluto, right?)

Cami walks by security at the office and gets FJ's help using his IT guy to digitalize the pic, in the background there is "Johny's Market" with a Colorado phone number, ahha.

Cesar's food delivery guy makes them, calls the police, is GumChew scratching his back with a fish, he's on it. Noelia noticed the guy checking her out, Cesar spots the guy on his phone.

Renata meets with Eva, she can keep the car but she needs to resign, she is history, nope, Eva stands her ground, she has the park ticket with Pascual's prints in a safe place.

Lucy shows up at the Zoo to see Tomas, Chuy heads her off, walks her to the door and out, "see you later".

Cami swings by Elvira's to pick up her things, she's in the hunt.

Pascual, with a death grip on Eva's arm, impresses her with the fact he will kill her.

Renata incognito, scarf and sunglasses, shows up at Cesar's looking for Cami, nope, she's gone, but doesn't miss an opportunity to look down on the ordinary people in the world like Elvira.

the local police raid Cesar's motel, but he is gone, they did get his passport alias.

Cesar's on the move, Manuel gives him a heads up on Cami.

free Tomas is ready to be a father, Ines is getting prepped, he talks with FJ about money, Pascual interrupts spinning, Cami is gone after Cesar in one of our planes.

Chuy as Tomas gets Lucy to bring him the babies on ice, 9 embryos, 5 female, 4 male, soon to be alive, the spell of the moment is broken when Chuy says they need to die today, and takes them, but, but, they are mine so just don't say anything.

family round table on the Cami situation, how did she get the plane, Eva authorized it, ut oh.

no one's home as Ale meets Chuy, he has the embryos (are they in a ziplock bag), she worries for him, he's doing it for her, for them, he liked living like Tomas.

GumChew pushes his way into Cesar's, rants on Elvira for not telling him where Cesar was, she claims innocence, gun to her head, spills on the pic under threat of prison (not once has he shown up with a warrant)

Cami arrives at Johny's market in Colorado and drills the clerk looking for Cesar, Cesar is standing behind her, ah, could we say bliss?

deb, thank you for yet another quick and clever recap! You covered absolutely everything so well.

Ale definitely owes favors to a lot of people now including Pluto and Renata. She is sleezy regardless of her title and social status.

Lucy showing up at the Zoo by checking the medical records for an address is a huge privacy violation in real life. I actually did not feel too sorry for her when Chuy heads off with the eggs. Poor Tomas. Maybe the loss of the eggs will encourage him to get some help so he can have a baby the natural way with Ines.

GumChew really crossed the line with Elvira last night. He was using that pistol to almost sexually assault her. He is someone I hope has a nasty end.

Eva is definitely in huge trouble. That amusement park ticket is not enough to save her. She should tell FJ everything and cause some family turmoil.

Cami is pretty clever using a company plane to head off to Denver. I was surprised she found Cesar so quickly.

Deb, thank you for reporting every awful moment .

I still think Elvis is Cara Sucio. He is just too wrapped up in this mess and not following any police procedures . I think he fired Linda because he was afraid she would figure out how he is involved with this mess.

Ale and Chuy are the only people having any fun in this group.

I feel very sorry for Elvira . Manuel isn't doing a very good jib of protecting her.

I loved your asking "(this wasn't a zoom trial was it?)". I think I've been on Zoom sessions that lasted longer!

At times, FJ seems to be reasonably bright, but did he really accept Ale's claim that his tie was given to her by Renata to give to Mr. Davis??

Eva is becoming a more interesting person. When Renata claimed that Eva had learned from Adriana, Eva responds, "No. I haven't yet slept with both father and son." Score one for Eva! And then later we find that it was Eva who authorized Cami's flight. Brava!

Speaking of Cami's flight, I was startled to hear that she took ONE of the Del Rio planes. Yikes. Do they have different ones for the days of the week?
And who is going to be the pilot? César? Cami? Noelia?

I'm used to seeing GumChew violate the law he's supposed to uphold, but his holding a loaded pistol to Elvira's head as he threatens her really got to me. I want to see him fired, convicted of all kinds of offenses, and locked in a tiny cell for many years with no access to chewing gum.

Thanks, deb! You had your extra clever hat on for this one. Like Juanita, I really, really liked Zoom trial. My jaw dropped when Ray announced that Tomás had been declared innocent without appearing in court nor hearing the verdict there.

Juanita, the Del Rio company is JetAir. Like all telenovela businesses, their business model is fuzzy to Viewerville, to say the least. But I had the impression they owned a fleet of private jets to rent to people to use.

Like the rest of you I found GumChew's interactions with Elvira to be shocking. And it's in such contrast to his obsequiousness to anyone who has money. I also thought Elvira shouldn't have given up the picture. But the writers did that so we'd wonder if the cops would grab César at that motel. She should have just refused. He definitely wasn't going to pull the trigger.

Well the little embryos I rooted for are gone. Sigh. Lucy said that they could only be out of the freezer for 10 minutes. And Chuy showed some test tubes or something without that large freezer thing. Tomás told FJ that Inés had already started the preparations for implantation. I think that involves drugs. Poor Inés. I was SO hoping that Tomás would walk in, identify himself to Lucy and foil RR's plan. Mr. Google tells me that the Catholic church is opposed to IVF, so that's probably why it was written that way.

Actually I'm sort of on Big Ed's side regarding Eva. Blackmail is never a good look. She deserved it when he told her that he had been crazy about DAMAS, but she was only a secretary to ward off boredom. That one hit home. And he gave her the crazy eyes when he said he might as well be convicted for double murder. Still think he's confessing to keep RR and/or Eva from telling FJ. He may not even have been in love with DAMAS.

Cami is putting César at risk. Did Elvira tell RR about the photo that was sent to Manuel? Can't remember how he knew about it. And I suppose the food delivery guy alerted local police who then contacted GumChew.

Hi I think that Pasquale is cara social remember they were in the system together however he is older so I'm still trying to figure this out. He hasn't come up lately and estela said it was Marianas husband that killed her maybe they were secretly married i just don't know but you know how crazy novelas turn out

I will put up a recap, probably brief, tonight. By the way, the preferred Latin American spelling is Pascual. Pasqual is an occasional variation. But the name comes from the word in Spanish for Easter pascua.

#46 – Prófugos Los Dos - Parte 1 de 2

After finding each other at Jonny’s Market in Colorado, Cami insists on driving the three of them.

Eva pushes her luck with Renata after having authorized Cami to take a plane. RR fires her.

We discover that Cami has a pilot’s license, and she takes off in the same plane that originally had a flight plan to NYC. Noelia is over the moon to be flying for the first time in her life.

Eva shows up in Pascual’s office saying she wants to speak with FJ, who is there. She says he’ll learn who his father is. Pascual throws her out before she can say anything.

Chuy is on the phone with Renata while Ale chews on his ear. Then he lays out his delusional plan. He’ll get big bucks from RR, and Ale will leave FJ for him. She brings him down to earth in a hurry, saying she can’t go away with a criminal.

Ugh! GumChew keeps kissing RR’s hand. He’s sure César will be grabbed up wherever the plane lands. [When GumChew says es un hecho (it’s a done deal), you can bank on another big fail. RR tells him about Ale getting him the LAPD job, but he has to agree to keep Cami from being charged.

Pascual, Renata, FJ, GumChew, and some woman at JetAir look at an arrow showing the plane, but it comes and goes on the screen.

The plane lands, a large man calls Cami’s name. They speak while César and Noelia stay in the background.

Ale comes to tell RR she’s gotten GumChew the job he wanted. She wants RR to keep Chuy out of this.

The plane lands in NY and is immediately surrounded by police. But the guy Cami spoke to where they landed before piloted the plane there. He gets out with his hands raised.

Cami drives them to somewhere in Kentucky. They keep showing Noelia over and over gazing at Cami’s cell phone. I’m pretty sure she’s going to call Elvira and ruin the whole escape plan.

The big deal fashion designer that Adriana scammed comes to see FJ. He says that she didn’t seem to know him when they ran into each other in San Deigo.

FJ bribes un botones (bellhop) to let him into Mariana Stanford’s room after the head guy at reception won’t help.

#46 – Prófugos Los Dos Parte 2 de 2

At the lovely Kentucky hideout, Noelia is out like a light, and Cami and César get it on.

Chuy gets $20K from RR and starts talking about the big risk he ran. He wants $100K. She says she’ll give it to him provided he puts a scare into someone.

We meet Valeria, Renata’s younger sister. [This woman was driving me nuts because she looked so familiar. I’m pretty sure she’s Michelle Forbes. Wiki tells me she’s Mexican American, although I've never seen her play a Spanish speaking role.] Cami and Valeria are obviously very fond of each other. Her big revelation is that when she was underage, RR kidnapped her baby and she and Valeria’s father gave the baby up for adoption (Cara Sucia?).

FJ finds a different perfume in the San Diego hotel room and a laptop with a desktop showing her with two children, one a teenager, and the other maybe 9 years old. He finds a receipt for a meal that included shrimp. We see a flashback where Adriana said she was allergic. He also finds the necklace with an M on it that matches the one with an A.

The head of the fertility clinic is breaking the news to Tomás. Lucy comes in and discovers the real Tomás and realizes what she’s done. When the guy says they’ll “fix it” at no cost, Tomás tells him the egg donor died. Later we see Tomás telling Olga and Chuy. Chuy with the newly black heart tries to ease his guilt mentioning getting a baby the old fashioned way and is told Tomás can’t do it.

The guy who let FJ into the San Diego hotel has been fired, but his boss has come to see FJ. He tells him that a man who said he was her husband came for her things. Pascual bursts in and seems to recognize the guy. The hotel guy gets out of there fast.

Lucy shows up at the mansion. Chuy, of course, is right there clipping hedges. She gives him a piece of her mind. He threatens her. Chuy, Chuy, you’re definitely coming to a bad end.

Eva answers the door, and a guy rushes in wearing a black ski mask. He grabs her by the throat. (Chuy?)

*More shooting between Aurelio & Co., vs Crazy Tracy & Zambrana's lackeys.

*Crazy Tracy calls Manzano about what's going on.

*Colon heading over there himself & puts his bullet-proof vest just in case.

*Big question is whether Crazy Tracy will slither her way out of her current predicament ?

*No appearance from Karla & Co., last night because she must be working on another news scoop.

*Previews for Monday night show Crazy Tracy demanding Colon shoot Aurelio. Will he do it ? We'll have to wait & find out in Episode #1239.

Thank you novelera for another fabulous recap! More twists and turns in this TN with new characters added to the mix.

I was rather impressed that Cami could pilot a plane. Her plan was pretty clever.

Tia Valeria’s introduction gave us a look into why RR is the way she is. “RR kidnapped her baby and she and Valeria’s father gave the baby up for adoption (Cara Sucia?).” My immediate thought was not Cara Sucia but the stolen baby might be Chuy.

I agree that Noelia is going to use Cami’s phone and blow their cover.

These people have never heard of burner phones or peak holes in the front door? Eva just opening up the door without checking who it was so late at night is just silly. I do think it was Chuy doing his job for the $100k from RR.

I think Mariana is twin sister to Adriana. It had to be Big Ed who pretended to be the husband to gain entry into the hotel room. Hopefully the gullible FJ can figure out what is going on.

Novelera, thank you for that excellent account as the writers continue to throw more ingredients into this simmering, bubbling stew of deceit and angst.

A new character emerges and along with her , A baby who RR helped to disappear. Who is that baby ? Chuy seems like a good guess.

I haven't watched this episode yet, but I am anxious to watch now that I know what people are saying .

My friend who is a high school Spanish teacher thinks it is very funny that I watch telenovelas since I cannot understand what the actors are saying .

Just had a thought. Perhaps Chuy could be Cara Sucio if he is the baby RR gave away . Maybe she gave the baby to the orphanage but then at some point brought him to the mansion to be raised as Olga's son . Who knows . Just another crockpot theory.

P.s. Autocorrect always changed Chuy to "Thug"...insightful. Between Ale and RR, he is sliding down a slippery slope . He should have kept on drying dishes with Olga and staying out of trouble . As the old saying goes :Pretty is as pretty does.

It now does seem that the writers are hinting that we have twins playing this game of hide and seek DAMAS. ...Adriana and Mariana are separate people. Where do the other names come in ?

if anyone is interested in planes, commercial planes fly high in what is referred to as controlled airspace where they are identified and tracked (so they don't run into each other). Underneath that elevation planes are not identified unless they are close to or using an FAA run airport. Here is a live example,

MANY THANKS, novelera, both for this excellent recap and for reminding me earlier that the Del Rio business is JetAir, and thus, their having several planes isn't unusual.

The writers succeeded in faking me out in the scene where Cami et al stop so the plane can be refueled. When I heard a deep, authoritative voice say "Camila del Rio?", I thought the game was up, the police had found them. I loved it, of course, when the man with the authoritative voice is the only one to step out of the plane in New York.

Though I give the writers kudos for faking me out, I remove the kudos because of the ludicrously heavy-handed way they indicate Noelia's interest in the cell phone. Yes, I'm 99+% sure that Noelia is going to call her abuela and gum up the works.

I'm puzzled by what FJ found in Adriana's San Diego hotel room--the different perfume, the photo with her and two children, the receipt indicating an order of shrimp, to which Adriana was allergic. I really am still hoping that we're NOT going to find out that Adriana has a twin. The fact that she claimed not to recognize the fashion designer doesn't bother me--of course she would do so if she's trying to hide under a different name. But the stuff FJ found in the hotel room is harder to explain away.

In the scene very late in the episode where a woman with long dark hair goes to the door and winds up being strangled (not necessarily killed, but certainly hurt and frightened) by a man in black with his face covered, I first assumed that the woman was Lucy and the man was Chuy, and that he might well kill her. But then I thought, how did he know where she lives? But only then did I think "maybe she's Eva, not Lucy," and Chuy is scaring her as Renata ordered. As you can see, facial recognition is not my strong suit.

OK, so the Tomás/Adriana embryos are probably no longer viable. But what's to stop Tomás and Ines from doing what Tomás and Adriana did? That way, he could still be a father without having to have intercourse. And presumably the fertility place would cover all the costs. One problem down, many more to go.

interesting, Aunt Valeria (Sandra Destenave) and the father who wanted a son but got 2 girls.

the stolen baby, I was thinking Cesar, (but then he has a mom), but as a del Rio, that would really bring the roof down.

FJ's trip to San Diego was a what the..., it must have been a week or 2 since Adriana's death, but the room was paid in advance so the host guy was letting it ride, I think he also said the police hadn't been there but the husband had. I'll bet there is mega info in that laptop lying on the bed, FJ didn't have the password and only got the home screen. FJ is such a flake.

could Mariana be Cara, had a falling out with Adriana and...

or maybe Cami as Cara, which is why Adriana was targeting the del Rio family, the bitter hatred building in her that Rocio spoke about.

for now eyes are looking at Pascual as the husband/shooter.

Chuy sure stepped in over his head, I don't think his mom and a senator will be able to pull him back and Lucy, instantly brings Senator Ale into the picture, no way she'll be walking around for long, but then a cut of the 100K... yep, Eva's ninja intruder has to be RR's new enforcer Chuy.

Deb, yes, it was convenient that all those things were left behind in that hotel room for morose, always slightly sleepy FJ to find and sniff through .

The eyebrow I saw under the mask sure looked like Chuy's.

I am intrigued by Tia Valeria. She is beautiful and sweet like Cami, so Renata must hate her. She is tall and has the same black hair as Chuy. I hope we find out more about her part in this twisted tale.

Thanks for the wonderful recaps! I am a week behind again and likely to be three weeks behind in two weeks. I am getting ready to move from one apt to the next and have so much to do. When I do have a minute to relax, I can't seem to get myself to watch anything other than auto pilot reruns that I don't really have to pay close attention to. I hope to get moved in and then binge watch what I'm missing and get caught up and rejoin you all then!
