So Luci is getting 'deported' by Juan, color me shocked. Why would she take anything he says at face value when he doesn't trust him????

David and Fern have the same I'm sorry I neglected you after your mother's death conversation we've been hearing since episode 4.....sigh

If Marta was playing Brian that date night scene where she interrupts his passionate kisses would be AWESOME! He's all into it and she stops to cry about how much her husband's deportation affected her and her ability to connect with a man. That would be downright brilliant....but I don't think she's playing him anymore and I don't like her so it's just whatever.

If I'm being completely honest, I've struggled the last week or two to come up with things to comment on. This show feels stalled. Tano in jail for threatening someone, conned into threatening that person again is just plain boring...come on writers we need some plot development, interest, intrigue, hell I'd settle for a new topic of conversation.

The bright spot is Sonia and all of her goofy ways, the actress is really fascinating.

Vino. Totally agree with you about the repetitive nature of this novela, Darcy. It should have been half as long! Luciana needs to get her own attorney--someone who specializes in immigration cases. It shouldn't be that hard to find one in California, especially in an agricultural area. And exactly! Why would she trust Juan anyway?

So if disbelief gets suspended too many times, is it permanently expelled? Like how you get expelled from school after too many suspensions??? I just can't with this show!!! They now want us to believe that Susan is SOO scared of how much time Tano might get for having made a verbal threat that she's decided to move back in with a wife abuser so he'll drop the charges. I mean he didn't even threaten to kill the guy, IIRC it was just some vague 'Susan isn't alone' type comment. I know I agreed to stop arguing the validity of that 'crime' but pretending for the moment that it is.....what is the average prison sentence for making a vaguely threatening comment (don't point out that Mark has no way to prove this, don't point out that Mark has no way to prove this) they way these people are acting it must be 25 to life!!! Prison overcrowding would definitely be bigger issue if you got 25 to life for making a vaguely threatening statement.....just saying.

Okay Tano is in jail, still stupid; Susan is moving back in with Mark, down right insane; Fernanda going off on both Juan and Lilian AWESOME!!! Go Fer, go!!

Meanwhile, elsewhere on the vineyard, Luci is getting 'deported' because her work visa request that was never filed was 'rejected' and so of course our big brave Miggy proposes marriage!!! The most interesting thing about this proposal is poor Carito!!! Imagine going to all the trouble of helping Luci pack so you can get rid of her just to have Prince Charming propose marriage to her instead!!!! ROTFL

"IMPERDONABLE":

Darcy, SpanProf, & Co.,: I see that Unimas has reduced this Telenovela to just 1 HR & has "ROSALINDA" taking the 10:00 AM CST timeslot.

Vino. Totally agree with everything you say, Darcy! I'm wondering if Carito put something incriminating in 1 of those boxes. Yep, the whole Tano in jail business is totally off the wall. Dare we hope that something terrible happens to Mark--without any intervention from Tano or Susan? Miguel and Luciana--Will they or won't they? My guess is no, because after all, an annulment would be such a hassle!

When Tano said to Gut that he was starting to fell like he was going to spend the rest of his life there I thought for a second that I must have been wrong yesterday and that the going rate for making vague threats is life in prison!!! LOL Then I realized he was just being dramatic. IRL Mark's threat to go and change his story ie. refile charges at any time wouldn't work. The police wouldn't believe him if he changed his story again most likely and even if they did, you couldn't go to trial with that wishy washy back and forth story and win. But it's definitely Novelaland and not Cali so I'm assuming they could still seek the death penalty against Tano at any time easily....oh well. I am not team Tano because I am not Team anyone in this mess, but if I had been he would have lost me today! I don't care how upset your are screaming in your girls face during an argument is NOT okay!!!

When Grace found out about Luciana's engagement my first thought was I can't believe she told David right away!!! You'd think she'd stay silent and hope Luci and Miguel were married by the time they returned, but nope she spilled the beans!!! But then we watched her use the information to try and take advantage of sad David, and she even got a kiss out of him!!! I guess I am just not scheming, that angle wouldn't have occurred to me!

It really bothered me that Marta was okay with and even expressed happiness at Luci marrying Miguel. She knows her daughter isn't in love with him and it just seemed so calculating to try and encourage the marriage. But then I thought about how much she's been through in her life due to deportation already and even though I still don't agree with her, I guess I can see why she'd be desperate to avoid Luci leaving. But I am glad she came around anyway, and told Luci not to do it if she isn't truly in love with Miguel.

Darcy & SpanProf: I see that I recognize Crazy Jaime from Telemundo's "ESDLC" & plenty of others.
