It was a busy day today but I did watch. I apologize in advance if I don't remember much, but then not much happens lol.

Fern kissed Tano in front of the whole vineyard including daddy!! I do remember that!

Lil's campaign to ruin Gut was more successful than I thought it would be. Who would've thought she'd have that many friends being so unlikeable???

Luci goes on another jealous rant because of Erika....yawn!

Juan is feeling the noose tighten and Perla recognized Ingrid AND told Juan, but he didn't believe her.

Marta admitted that she only starting dating Gut in the beginning to annoy Lil!!! LOL But she's head over heels now which is going to make what happens next all the more painful since Gut and Luci finally came face to face at the end of the episode and Luci definitely recognized him!!!! This is the first time ever I've wish we had the previews from the next episode at the end of daytime....Weds should be explosive!

Tomorrow we are pre-empted.

Vino. I can't believe I actually feel sorry for Gutierrez. He seems to genuinely love Marta and had been planning to confess his role in Luci's deportation at dinner that night. Also, his dream of being sheriff has been smashed. Is there any redemption possible for him? Can't wait for Lilian to get hers, but given the length of this novela that may be a long time coming.

I can’t feel sorry for Gut. I am not sure if he is a good man but if he is, he’s a good man without a spine! Just sitting back with an eyes closed wish that everything will work out somehow magically if he crosses his fingers? Nope, he deserves what is coming.

I forgot to say yesterday I have a feeling Joselio is going to be killed. He is putting too much pressure on Gracie, will she murder again?

Vino. Ooooh. Scary prediction about Joselo. It must be bad enough to be in love with Graciela. :)

I was so busy yesterday, I forgot to comment, but I didn't forget to watch! :)

Yesterday, we got the big Gut reveal, and I was surprised by how it made me feel, which was annoyed with Marta and Luciana!! And not because I feel sorry for Gut, I don't, but because they acted like he committed some horrible criminal act that destroyed them when in reality they are the ones who broke the law. Of course, there's the added element of Gut conspiring with Lil to deport them, but they don't know about that yet so leaving that element out of their reaction. It was so entitled and horrible. Personally, I am pretty much pro-open borders. I think if people are just living normal honest lives and obeying the law you should leave them be, but that said deporting someone isn't illegal, it is literally the job of an immigration cop right or wrong, and to yell all entitled and righteously indignant because someone deported you and ruined your life as a consequence of YOU breaking the law and doing something illegal is amazing. These women really have zero self-awareness and take zero responsibility. Life owes them everything and they are just helpless victims - I just can't...

Not to mention, deportation didn't destroy their family and force anyone to be apart from anyone. Marta said several times that Gut separated her from her beloved husband and Luci but he didn't. That family could have been reunited by the weekend! They could have all grown up together in Mexico, they could have forged a completely different path and had a wonderful life together. Not saying they should or shoudn't have, but they options were there. The choices were there, they were not forced or kept apart. They CHOSE to remain half in Mexico and half in US, and right or wrong, good or bad, the rest of the story is a result of their choices not the fault of Gut. The way they scream at him, you'd think he had them locked in separate sound proof cells for 20 years and refusedto let them see each other!! I can see being very angry at him for all the legitimate reasons they have to be mad - like using deportation as a weapon, or to gain favor of a woman, two-timing, intentionally misleading/lying to Marta so he could still date her while dating Lil, etc; but they either don't know about these reasons or barely addressed them while insisting his sin is simply in deporting the family and ruining their lives! Ugh. Just reminded me that I really don't like either woman...

That said, I don't think Brian is really and truly repentant, if so, he would have told of Lil's involvement and truly came clean. But either he doesn't want to admit he was lying the whole time and not just since doing Luci's Visa paperwork, or he doesn't want to admit he conspired with Lil for less than ethical deportations and is still covering his a$$. Leon going after Gut while Miguel held him back was hilarious!!!

Sonia's dramatic dismissing of Leon for not being there for her in her greatest time of need was more hilarious!

It's good that David and Cesar are talking again and I still can't with Susan. As unbelievable as most of these plot lines are, hers easily takes the prize. Your psycho ex beats people in the streets but you HAVE to stay with him because if not your boyfriend is going to be destroyed because he made a vague phone threat??? Unrelated question, do you ever wonder if the writers are high when they are writing?? lol

Vino. Yep, moving as Brian's grief and breakdown at losing Marta, he did fail to completely level with her and Luci--especially about Liilian's role. Of course, taking work orders from someone who wasn't an employee of the Immigration Service might actually be illegal. I think Brian's future actions will show whether he was truly repentant or not. Will he be out for revenge against Lilian? Will he just be destroyed psychologically? We will see. Still waiting to see if the conflict between Mark and El Coyote ends up destroying Mark.
