Another day of repeated conversations. They could have titled this the vino of repeated conversations! LOL I am tired of the jealous rants of Luci and Miguel. I find it disturbing that Luci is so jealous of Miguel when her feelings are really for David.

It's sad but not surprising that the dead guy was Carito's cousin, they had mentioned him too many times, he had to show up, sadly he showed up dead.

Miguel looks stupid strolling around town with his shirt mostly unbuttoned, I think they went too far in looking for opportunities to show off the muscles.

Seeing Leon and Sonia is the highlight. When watching Sonia's bliss over receiving her books it reminded me of when I was young and I use to actually day dream about being locked in a library - with no one to bug me and nothing to do but read!! I was such a book worm as a child.

Darcy: I see that "HOY" FINALLY came back to the 12:00 PM CST timeslot & "ROSA DE LA GUADALUPE" is back at the 6:00 PM CST timeslot too.


 

Vino. I was a little surprised that they didn't show the visa permission arriving for Luci. The fact that it's just a 6-month tourist visa means that Juan and Lilian, etc. will have lots of opportunities to try to thwart her work visa. And I totally agree about her bickering with Miguel, Darcy. Sonia and Leon have so much in common it's adorable. I did enjoy all of Leon's and Luci's dancing around Mexico City, sampling delicious food.

So first Susan tells Luci about the kiss between David and Gracie - something she had absolutely no good reason to do - and then she tells Luci to forget about David and move on with Miguel!!! Mixed message, if you really want her to move on, why even tell her about the kiss??

And why, or why, would you encourage someone to go 'be happy' with someone else when you know they are in love with someone else? That's not how that works. First you deal with your heartbreak and feelings and heal your wounds and then when you are ready to find someone else because you want THEM, not because you want to forget someone else. I really can't understand how everyone thinks it's just fine to do this - Susan, Luci, David, Marta - probably even Miguel if he knew considering how obsessed he is with her.

Luci had no right to confront David about the kiss acting like he betrayed her. She is with someone else, who he does or doesn't kiss is none of her business.

Leon's new little friend isn't same at the vineyard....I really hope Juan doesn't see her!

I agree with you SpanProf I enjoyed Leon and Luci in Mexico City but the second they get back it's angst 24/7. Marta and Brian could be considered cute or romantic or whatever if we cared, but I don't. And although it was mean for Marta to intentionally throw her date with Brian in Lil's face, Lil deserves it so it was kind of funny.
 

Vino. I too am getting tired of the bicker, bicker, bicker between Luci, Miguel, David etc. And I expect it will go on for a long time, given how much of this novela is left. I had slightly mixed feelings about Marta's and Brian's rendezvous. Is it a sign that Brian is becoming a better person and that Marta means more to him than becoming a sheriff? What will happen when he and Luci finally meet? Will it destroy his relationship with Marta? Probably. I hope things do work out for that poor young woman who was nearly sex trafficked and who is hiding at the vineyard. At least she survived physically, unlike Carito's cousin.

Leon is trying too hard to be liked by Gut....it's sad to watch, especially since Brian doesn't deserve it. And to answer your question, I don't think Brian is becoming a better person, he's just taking advantage of Lil's absence to go after what he wants - Marta.

Now that the young girl (Ingrid I believe) hears Perla and Juan talking she will recognize their voices probably. Will she leave? Run again? Stay and tell Leon about Perla and Juan?

I don't understand why Fernanda thinks it's okay to speak to Susan (and Luciana) the way she does, as if she is the lady of the house and speaking for her father! But I guess it's okay because David allows it. I would tell her to pipe down and go do her homework! lol But then she probably got it from Gracie. I literally laughed when she said to Luci 'I don't want you near David' LOL And??? Why do you get a say in that Gracie???

I would like this all better, I think if Luci would just cut Miguel lose and fight for David. It would be fun to watch Luci and Grace duel it out for real.

I can't believe Erika's dad told her to go ahead and not give up if she likes Miguel because things could change, while this could well be true, Erika is young and has just gotten to town. She's only known Miguel for 5 mins, it's not like it's an epic love story, daddy should be encouraging her to meet new people and just go about life. If things change, Miguel can come looking for HER!
 

Vino. Yep, Tano looks great shirtless. Too bad Brian seems only to be bonding with Leon to manipulate him. I thought Brian's story about how he rejected his latino heritage because he was bullied and teased at school was actually kind of moving and a real problem for children of immigrants. Interesting that Brian was trying to get his name taken off Luciana and her father's arrest record. Does he think she won't remember him? Wasn't she 12? I hope Ingrid tells Leon about Perla and Juan. I loved the way Ingrid was giggling while reading the romance novel Leon loaned her. Nope, Leon, definitely not for you. You and Sonia have a lot more in common. Also, cleaned up and more well dressed, Ingrid looks older and more sophisticated than she did. Yep, Fernanda is downright annoying. I suspect at some point she will learn a lesson about who is to be trusted and who really cares about her. And I agree that Luci should stop stringing Miguel along. I think Adolfo's encouragement of Erika and Miguel may have something to do with his own interest in Lilian.
