Mini recap below with typos and alert!:*possible mistranslated convos*. Please correct errros....it take a village. Scenes are combined, so not always in chronological order of the show. A few scenes were left out since they didn’t really advance the plot.
Rolando, Natalia, and RataRenata had the night off, so we were spared their evil auras.

Diego and Susy are devastated by the news of Paula’s tumor. Susy is freaked out that her mother could/might die from it, as would any child.

MALena asks Pepe if he understand the gravity of Paula’s disease. Pepe says she will get better while Mal tells him that she’s (ahem) there for him. Mal is having a hard time listening to St. Pepe wax poetic about how much he loves Paula. Mal says she’ll marry Rafa mañana. Meh…..

ISABELA can’t believe their property is registered in Natalia’s name. Alex says the documents Nat had them sign were clearly false. This couple is probably wishing they had READ those documents. Alex says he’ll talk to his own lawyer. Isa wants to call Lorenzo about this but she doesn’t.

GRACIA is still in shock that GNATalia is her bio-daughter. Rosa says she gave Nat their mother’s name but Nat had it legally changed. (if they said what the original name was, I didn’t catch that.)
ROSA says Nat needs a mama (no, she really needs a prison guard) and you need your daughter. Gracia tells Rosa she can’t die, you got well once before, Nat hates me, etc etc etc. Rosa is optimistic about their relationship. (and I think* [see disclaimer about not understanding Spanish] Rosa was saying she wouldn’t fight the cancer this time, it’s metastasized and she’ll just surrender to the whole thing)

As reality is sets in that her baby is Natalia, Rosa says that Natalia was furious that she had the BAD LUCK to be adopted by a housekeeper and not A WEALTHY FAMILY. Nobody on the Patio watching this show is surprised at this news.

Paula tells Lorenzo that she told Diego and Susy about her tumor, and the talk was a disaster. She’s worried about what’s running thru Susy’s mind, especially now that Susy knows her mom could die. Paula thinks she never should have said anything. Lor assures P that she is doing a good job with her kids and Susy will be okay.

Meanwhile, Diego is outside crying buckets and asking The Universe “WHY?” He is completely wrecked over the news. He probably thought he had the rest of his life to act snotty to Paula. Lorenzo walks up to console him and assures him Paula will be okay. Diego admits he has been very unfair to Paula lately and he can’t face her at this moment in time.
 

Tu VIDA # 56

Emiliano has gone into the game room/wet bar, takes one big slug of Vodka to calm himself down, then throws the bottle onto the floor where it shatters into a gazillion pieces and vodka goes everywhere. In a break with Telenovela Rules, he actually cleans up the mess himself instead of leaving it for The Help to clean it up. This guy hasn’t read his telenovela rules book!

Diego and Lor arrive and Diego is furious with Emi for not telling him about Paula’s tumor. Emi says that was Paula’s news to tell. Diego feels very guilty and Emi says that you can change the way you treat our mother and act around her.

Paula is inside, trying to calm down Susy. Paula has a big cotton ball/wad and uses it to illustrate how the proton beams kill the tumor and she’s fighting like a warrior to beat it.

MALENA has come to Casa Lugo to visit Paula and have a chat. Paula asks her to plz leave them alone but Mal says she learned about the tumor. They go to another room.
This whole conversation scene is, IMO, very well done. Malena is acting like a real human being with a real heart. Knowing her, I had a hard time trusting it, but Mal stayed in good-neighbor character through the whole scene. Note also that every sentence MAL says is framed in the approach that Paula will die. And I'm wondering what's Malena's endgame here?

Mal tells Paula that she (P) can’t imagine how many times and ways she (M) imagined Paula would/could disappear from us so she could have “my Pepe.” Now she knows Paula is dying and feels badly about that, as well as for all she has said and all that happened; she is so sorry about this tumor. Mal says she is worried about her dear husband Pepe….oops…my ex….if Paula doesn’t make it. Paula is polite and ladylike but assures Mal she will be fine, don’t feel bad for me.
MAL says all she wants is for Pepe to be happy.

Paula then says if she does not survive, she asks MAL to support Pepe “as the mother of her/his(?) children” and be a good friend to Pepe. Mal mentions that although she is marrying Rafa tomorrow, she hasn’t stopped carrying about Pepe. Then she has the gall to ask Paula to attend the wedding. Paula says sure, you can count on me showing up.

DOWNSTAIRS, Pepe wants to know why Malena is there. Paula says to invite them to the MalAfa wedding tomorrow. They had a good woman-to-woman convo and got a lot of things said.

RAFA asks Andi that tomorrow is the big wedding day. He asks her to make the effort plz. He wants the four of them to be a family; can he count on her? He acknowledges that she still doesn’t forgive him but he needs their home to be happy, and he doesn’t want to lose her (Andi). She says she’ll stay there with him. And the viewers of this show hope Mal won’t make her life a living hell.

RIGOBERTO is still around. He’s come to Mal’s hotel room for some nookie. He is mad and doesn’t understand why Mal wants to marry Rafa. She says that Pepe no longer loves him, so she’ll marry Rafa to punish the whole family. They’ve always treated her like a “dericiado” (which what was in the subtities but I can’t find a translation, it can’t be nice so if anyone here knows what she said, please share?).

Rigo says leave it all behind her, let’s go away, far away. Nopis, Mal won’t leave without her revenge on Los Castillo. Will he help her? Rigo says he’s capaz de todo for her. Mal asks if he owns a pistol and Rigo says oh yeck yeah, it was my dad or grandad’s. We guess he knows how to use it. Mal wants him to kidnap her at gunpoint from her own wedding, and they go in for round #2 of nookie.

Thanks Doris, your recap was great. Since MAL was gleeful at the news of Paula’s deadly illness my opinion is that her side of the conversation with Paula was a load of bull…. But Paula bought it. Even asking the “mother of the year” not, to help care for her kids. I thought everyone knew MAL was a horrible mother. But Paula had originally picked Rol so she’s staying on track-the wrong track!

I’m afraid I didn’t feel sorry for Diego. He’s been so nasty to Paula during this whole show. He needs to grow up.

I was proud of Emi when he threw the bottle down and then cleaned it up. Maybe Renata will never have a chance to rescue, or save him. We can only hope. But Paula still doesn’t know Rol was the one that told him she was dying.

Gracia said Natalia hates her. But she has to be disappointed that Nat is her daughter. I think I would never tell in this case. Especially since we know more about her than they do.

Alex and Isabela should go straight to Lorenzo as Nat has already tried to cheat them once. Plus then Paula will know the truth. I don’t understand why Lorenzo hasn’t warned her about her “friend”.

Anxiously awaiting the wedding tonight. I guess just saying “no, I changed my mind” is too easy and practical.

Thanks so much, Doris. I somehow even forgot Malena said she´s marrying Rafa out of revenge, i.e., wants to get his money and run. It would take a while to get her hands on his money, though. But it sounds weird when she frames this as revenge as they had done nothing to her. When she starts going on about being treated badly, I really wonder how her brains works because she is allowed to be horrible and people just have to be nice.
I am wondering now how Lucia will handle Emilian´s drinking problem. From what Renata said, it seems he is difficult to handle when drunk and Lucia really isn´t prepared for this as much as she mightt love him. Alcoholism is one of those issues where sometimes no amount of love can help. I imagine Emiliano will be fine but I wonder what it will take for him to see this as a problem.
It appears Malena wants Paula´s official permission to be by Pepe´s side. Otherwise I can´t see the point of this meeting. She practically made Paula ask Malena to help Pepe. Is she, like Rolando, going to say ´Paula asked me to support you´? But this works only as a kind of 'the person you love would want this' argument. Would Pepe fall for this? Or is it Paula's supposed wish for Malena to be the one to help him and her expecting he'd forgive her and fall in love again?
Are the writers suggesting Natalia/Eulalia was just a mean person from the start? I mean, poverty isn't necessarily a reason to have no scruples. There are poor people who turn to criminality, but I thought that had more to do with lack of education and their environment than with the fact they were poor.
Rafa doesn't know anything about his daughter's relationship with Malena, which pisses me off. Does he know she was the one who left the note to Pepe? Or has he forgotten about it? How does he expect them to have a good relationship? Out of all that he has done, that speech about hoping they could be a happy family is the thing that irritated me the most. He talks about his wishes as if things that had happened had no effect on anyone. The guy lives in the land of chocolate, like my teenage cousin. He'll be kicked out of there soon, but I am curious how long he'd stay there if it wasn't for what Mal is planning.

Doris, thank you for bringing us every dark detail.

That meeting between MALicious and Paula was awful to watch. Even though I understood very little, I could tell that MAL was enjoying every minute of telling Paula that she was going to die and leave Pepe behind for MAL . uff. I wonder what anvil the writers forged for this person who takes such pleasure in the pain and distress of others .

I got a kick out of Marcos( aka Comic Relief) as he seemed shocked that GNat was Garcia's daughter . ..mal suerte.

Doris, you are so right that cranky crybaby Diego thought he would have his whole life to be snotty to his mother .Somebody should buy this kid a punching bag so that he stops using people around him as punching bags.

Emi, on the other hand, seems to be on a hero's journey to becoming a good man which means Renrata won't get him back into her clutches .

Isa must run to Lor immediately to tell him what GNat did. I dont see how the writers could redeem this horrible , heartkess, greedy harpy, but it looks like they might. Rosa will die, and GNat will run to Gracia after confessing all to Paula. That is my guess .

Time is running out. Lor said he would help Andrea find her mother . Come on , Zaida.I want her to stir the pot.

I just lost one of my best friends to cancer a few days ago, so I have to just surf in and out of this sea of tears. Too sad.

Oh Susan, I'm so sorry. (((Hugs))). I've lost a few friends to cancer that had metastasized, over the last year or two. It's so hard.

Doris, you did a splendid job at retelling all the angst and manipulation. Loved "He (Diego) probably thought he had the rest of his life to act snotty to Paula" among so many other good quips.

At first Paula was surprised and doubting when MAL started her little theatrics, but then she once again succumbed to all the BS. All MAL wants is to give the appearance that she cares so that later, Pepe will think that she has a heart.

MAL won't just say "I changed my mind about marrying Rafa because she knows the family will turn on her, including Pepe. Based on what she told Rol in the previous episode, she has a plan that will ensure Pepe won't hate her for leaving Rafa. For some odd reason, she still seems intent on getting Pepe back...after Paula dies.

I'm done with Diego...I wish he'd just run away. Susan, I would even feel sorry for that punching bag if Diego gets a hold it!

Waterlily, I think Rafa does know about Andi's relationship with MAL; he's just ignoring it and expects And ito go along with his idiotic plans. And if IIRC, he also knows that Andi was the one who left the note for Pepe.

Ahhh, the wedding, guns and roses, what can possibly go wrong??

I had no sympathy for Diego; he has been given a wake up call and I hope he stops his disturbing treatment of his mother immediately.

MAL is indeed relentless. Rigo looked completely intoxicated by her charms. Fool...

So will they or won't they?? We should find out tonight.

I like to read HEA (happy ever after) books as my escape. That's also why I won't watch the darker, more dramatic telenovelas. I'm a lightweight. ;-)

Susan, I just read your comment and am truly sorry about your losing your friend.

I always say prayers and faith first. As powerful as these may be, sadly, all too often, they are not enough.

I am sure your friend was comforted by your caring support. Her suffering has ended and she is enjoying eternal sunshine and joy. May she rest in peace until you both are reunited in the next.

TU VIDA #57 Part 1/3

This episode was jam packed with dialogue and action. Porfis porfis porfis correct any misinterpretation, typos, and errors I’ve got here. Some of the dialogue was hard for me to catch, even with closed captions. Some scenes are combined for efficiency, a few minor scenes were left out.

At Mal’s Love Shack, she asks Rigoberto if he would be capaz of kidnapping her from her wedding to Rafa. He asks how does that serve her thirst for vengeance? She blames Rafa (naturally!) for ruining her marriage when he told Pepe that he was her lover. She continues ---> If you help me, not only will we screw over (fregar) Rafa. Just think of the effect this will have on Pepe! He’ll be traumatized over his kids seeing their mother kidnapped! (I kinda doubt it....) Besides, this whole town hates me and spoken ill of me, starting with your own dear wife, Rigo. I want to leave Lago San Juan in the most spectacular way. Rigo tells her the plan is perfect and he gets all turned on. Ewww.

Long, deep, intense conversation between Paula and Diego. Basically more of the same, I promise. Lather, rinse, repeat. All about Diego feeling abandoned by Paula after German’s death, when he needed her the most. We’ve heard it all before.
---> HOWEVER, Diego tells Paula why he didn't want her to marry Rolando. The day of German's funeral, Diego was sort of hiding and he accidentally heard Rolando, when he leaned into German's casket and whispered, "Thanks for clearing the way for me. After so many years with you at her side, now I'm free to have Paula be completely mine." Paula is gobsmacked.


ROLANDO is drinking. In the dark. All of a sudden he sees Germán outside his door yelling “MURDERER! You strangled me with your own hands so you could steal Paula from me!” Rolo freaks out. Shortly after, Natalia comes to vist. Alex called her about the deeds to the lands and wants to see her tomorrow. Rol says --- “You’re not going to the wedding? If Mal plays her cards right, she’ll have Pepe eating out of her hands.”

MALena shows up at Pepe’s house with crocodile tears, saying she is scared to death of Rigoberto, who has gone crazy! He said he doesn’t care about Teresa or his kid and he’s going to “impedir” the wedding tomorrow!! He tried to kiss me and I fought him off with all my strength! He tried to rape me! (and this is recapper is going … QTH?)
Pepe is appalled over all this. Mal says he has no idea how frightened she is. Pepe wants to tell Rafa but Mal says NO. I lost you, I don’t want to lose Rafa, help me please! Pepe falls for this whole scheme. He will protect her.

Then there is a strange video sequence of Emi chugging some liquor at the family game room/wet bar.
The writers are telling us that Emil really does have a drinking problem, likely an alcoholic. But I digress…
 

TU VIDA #57 Part 2/3

THE WEDDING DAY
RAFA ….. who is this guy and what did he do with The Hulk?
Rafa is getting dressed for the wedding. Seriously, this tux looks custom made; it fits him that well. But I digress ..... Lorenzo comes to visit and Rafa is surprised at this. Lor says he wants to support Rafa on this day. Rafa tells Lorenzo he knows about Paula’s tumor and that she could die. Lor confirms that Paula is very sick and they hope she will beat it. Then Lor says he is happy Rafa is marrying the woman he has loved for so many ears.

Out of the blue, Rafa says that since he’s Lor’s son, he has some rights, no? Rights to the family fortune. Lorenzo is taken aback by this and Rafa starts acting snotty. Rafa says he wants what is due to him financially, as his son. (Did MAL put him up to this??? This is so out of character….maybe it’s the suit…)

Lorenzo says he’ll give him whatever he wants and Rafa says no, you’l l give me what’s mine. (And I’m having Prodigal Son parable flashbacks and hoping Rafa will end up sleeping with the pigs) Lorenzo agrees, and tells Rafa he’ll give him the chance to know him better and the opportunity to be with Isa. And this is where I think Rafa says, you really don’t want to get to know me, you just want to be with Isabela, he won’t stand in his way so you can have the life you want. Lorenzo thanks him and promises to be the best father. Whatever.

MAL. IN HER WEDDING DRESS. AT HER HOTEL ROOM. Pepe comes to take her to the wedding. He was on the lookout for Rigo and the coast is clear. Nothing will interfere with this wedding. He tells Mal that after all we’ve been through, he hopes she and Rafa will be happy. Malena replies that she is sure it will be an unforgettable day. (ha!)

Susy tells Diego she loves him just as he is (gay) and she’s glad he is her brother. Awwww….

Later, Arturo shows up at Paula’s house, looking for Diego so they can go meet Andi at the wedding. Diego comes downstairs with Susy, who asks Arturo if he likes boys, like her brother Diego does. Diego jumps in and says Arturo is Andi’s friend. Arturo tells he he is not gay.

On the way to the wedding, Diego tells Arturo that Andi is a super great girl, that she’s always smiling when he’s around. He thinks Arturo should try to get closer to Andi, but Arturo doesn’t look thrilled. (And I’m not sure what else was said in this convo.)

ROSA, GRACIA and NAT all converge outside and Rosa wants to talk to them both. Nat says she doesn’t have time for a Family Reunion. Alex walks up and wants Nat to explain why she robbed him and Isa. Nat plays dumb at first.

Gracia starts defending Nat from Alex and Isa who are very, very angry. She won’t let them harass Nat. Alex says Nat is a thief and he’ll get his lawyer involved. Rosa starts to clutch at her chest (heart attack?) Alex tells Nat she’ll go to jail. Nat says it’s all legal, she’s a lawyer, and that’s just how things are. She also points out that it’s their own fault for signing papers without reading them first! (the girl has a point) And she plans to throw them out into the street!

Gracia starts to lay into Natalia, who dismisses her. Natalia denies she is a thief. She tells Los Castillo that it’s business and get over it because things are going to change.Rosa is appalled and says, so it’s true! Nat tells her this is how we’ll get the money to treat your cancer.
 

TU VIDA #57 Part 3/3

AT THE WEDDING

Pepe tells Paula to quit worrying about tomorrow. Live in the now. Today is all we have. blah blah blah. Besos.
Enter the bride, scowling at PaulEpe kissing.
Rafa looks like a Mafia gangster in that suit, IMO. with his hair combed back and everything. He’s excited that MAL will be his wife and tells her he demanded everything from Lorenzo, and this is just the beginning. Mal hugs Rafa while thinking, “Gah. I’m going to give up all this money I could get from Rafa for the opportunity to have Pepe again when that damned Paula dies.” (Yeesh.)

Oh look who's here! RataRenata and her guy friend are at the wedding! They’re headed to Emi and Lucia. Reni says she came to ask forgiveness. Luci calls bullsh!t on that. Lucia says if another photo of Andi surfaces, her uncle will have her arrested. More veiled threats from Rata, lather, rinse, repeat.

Meanwhile, Emi keeps eyeing the booze that Reni’s guy friend is tossing back. Said buddy pours some into Emi’s punch and says ‘’’for old times sake?” Emi drinks it. (This can’t end well.)

BACK AT THE RESTAURANT, Alex talks to Gracia. “You’re like family. What happens to us happens to you. What is up with you defending Natalia?” Gracia tells him that Nat is her hija. Cara impactada on Alex; he did not see that one coming.

AT CASA LUGO --- Isabela has come to tell Lorenzo how Nat messed up the real estate deeds and that Nat does not deny it, either. Rosa is dying of same over all that. Lorenzo assures Rosa their relationship won’t change. Rosa leaves the room so he and Isa can talk.
Lorenzo tells Isa don’t worry, he’ll take care of all this. Lorenzo also tells her about his talk with Rafa earlier, and that Rafa wants his share of the family fortune. Isa can’t believe it. Lorenzo says it’s no problem. Isa says no, that’s not my Rafa. This is Malena’s work! All of a sudden they hear a gunshot!

RIGOBERTO has crashed the wedding, firing his pistol into the air, yelling “MALENA! I CAME FOR YOU! You are NOT going to get married!” Then he aims his pistol toward the crowd …. and fires.

Rgv Chick, you captured all of tonight's sheer madness with clear and present wit and wisdom.

Mal and Rafa's fractured fairy tale is quickly imploding. Although everything about their story is absurd, I can hardly believe MAL is giving up all of Lor's money for a (slim) chance to get Pepe back once Paula expires. It is hard to believe she could find anyone more susceptible than Rafa, then along comes Rigo who obviously is even more thick as a brick.

I enjoyed Rol's nightmare and wish him many more.

Did Diego melt in his mother's arms begging for forgiveness for his coldness and resentment? Nopis. He cloaks himself with resentment, still. We suspected Diego's scathing treatment of Rol was based on something he saw or knew and finally, what he overheard at his father's casket is revealed.

"Prodigal Son parable flashbacks" was perfect. Rafa looked fine in his suit, such a waste. How many times did he try to fix his cravat?? Did Lor really need Isa to tell him that Rafa asking for "his share" of the fortune was coming directly from MAL's mouth?

Natalia's reptilian blood runs cold...

Did Rigo's bullet hit any mark??? Guess we will find out Monday.

I don't get why Natalia dislikes being called a thief. I mean,why not just admit it when you have already deceived people? Rolando called her a thief too and she didn't like it. It all being 'legal' doesn't mean much or is she so hung up on the paperwork being in order because she had to apply all that stuff she learnt in law school? It almost seems she likes thinking of herself as very clever because in theory it's all legal. Maybe she wants a pat on the back from the good guys for so cleverly using their stupidity and trust against them.
I really can't see what all these men see in Malena. bBoth Rigo and Rafa seem obsessed with her and it's been going for a while. She doesn't even hide her disdain for them when she wants to get rid of them but they come back for more. I suppose Rafa'sself-esteem issues play a part here, but then I find it odd that he talks about Alex being oh such a wonderful father when at first it seemed he believed none of his family members trusted or loved him. I can't remember what his relationship with Alex was like before Alex learnt about Rafa's affair with Malena.
Natalia really seems to think everyone is like her. Who the hell tells their mum they are going to use money obtained through deceit?'No big deal, mum, relax.'
Lucia will find drunk Emiliano hard to deal with.
I found Diego's speech to Paula hard to listen because she now can talk all she wants about trying to make things better, but you can't turn back time. In fact, I am not sure she is trying especially hard. She just makes random decisions which from their kids' perspective most probably make no sense. She only gave Diego a few driving lessons, the rest of the time she spent pursuing Pepe. It's just a bit irrritating to me that other characters say she's a great mother and it feels I have to accept this as a fact because it's what they say. With Pepe it's obvious he is great because they show it, not because someone said it is so.
Renata is stupider than I thought if she thinksher 'I come with peace' trick would work. Malena should teach her how it's done. But then again, Malena had Rolando's help. Otherwise she'd have given up on her mission so she isn't as clever as I'd expect a female villain to be. Doris, what is that song you quoted?

waterlily - thank you for your comments. Our best hope is that Natalia get disbarred by whatever legal community exists in Mexico. She's in denial that she is a thief but surely the Mexican Bar can take care of that, with enough proof.

Diana - thank you. "Did Lor really need Isa to tell him that Rafa asking for "his share" of the fortune was coming directly from MAL's mouth?" That didn't bother me. Isa knows MAL is a "vibora" (viper) and it was an indication to me that he is starting to see just how scheming Malena is.

I also cannot believe MAL would give up Rafa's inheritance just for "mi Pepe." But love is blind, even sick love. eeek!

Even having Rigo "kidnap" her is on brand for Malena. Everyone will blame Rigo. Not her. It's not her fault. Nothing is ever her fault.

Seeing Rigo show up at the wedding yelling "MALENA!" gave me flashbacks to Dustin Hoffman (sans pistol) crashing the church yelling "ELAINE!" in The Graduate. LOL

Thanks so much Doris. A lot was going on in this episode and you captured and clarified all of it.

I couldn’t believe Gracia was defending Nat. I was sure she didn’t want Rosa to ever tell Nat she was her mother. I figured she had no ties to Nat and could see the type of person she is. I do feel lawyers are trustworthy, and accountants, etc. As they have told me what I’m signing and I sign! Of course I’m talking wills, tax returns and other minor stuff. Bank and car loans too. You just figure they’re not going to cheat you.

I’m surprised at all the people at the wedding. Arturo, Renata and boyfriend, did they just show up. Can’t believe they were invited. But none of Rafa’s parents are there, although all seem to be planning to go. Not sure how Lucia will handle a drunk Emi.

Diego should have told Paula what he overheard before she married Rol. But hopefully Lorenzo will tell Paula what Nat did and maybe she’ll realize Nat and Rol are together in this.

So Rigoberto has crashed the wedding and will kidnap MAL. Then what. She’s not planning on leaving with him, this whole plan was so she wouldn’t marry Rafa but be available for Pepe. So does she have to kill Rigoberto or will he go to jail. I really don’t get the point of this planned kidnapping. It seems to me Rigoberto would tell all if he’s facing charges.

Rafa expecting what was due to him was uncomfortable. Lorenzo should have laughed and walked out.

I was used to only despising 1 antagonist, but here I cannot stand THREE!--Rol, MAL and Gnat. Though Diego is intolerable and such grouch, I'm not going to include him, because he's really not plotting against anyone...he's just "insoportable."

Diana, "then along comes Rigo who obviously is even more thick as a brick." ITA!! And then I look at Pepe and Rafa and ask how the heck can RIgo copper to those 2???

Waterlily, I agree with your entire comment, but most especially about Paula, the "good" mother. And to add to your rant--Paula only decided to live and agreed to treatment AFTER she fell in love with Pepe! Were her kids not enough reason to fight for her life?

Liz, I'm not sure what will happen to Rigo, but I THINK she might be wanting Pepe to be the one to rescue her. Why else would she go and throw all that BS at Pepe about Rigo trying to force himself on her? She's setting Pepe up to be the hero...not a spoiler, just a crackpot theory :-)

This show has been swimming with sharks , and now it is jumping the shark like Fonzie on waterskiis .

The writers should have shown MAL bursting into flames when she put on that WHITE wedding gown....as if. What a crazy new scheme she has come up with . I am mostly unbelieving that she would give up the new heir apparent Rafa and $$$ to try to win back very popular Pepe. It must be because she just cannot believe that Peppy Pepe could possibly prefer Paula over her . This girl has serious delusions. I suppose her low self esteem has made her arrogant and vain to conceal it. i wish we knew sometging ahout ber backstory. As they say, hurt people hurt people. So, I don't think the shot Rigo fired hit anyone , but what happens next ? Does MAL think Pepe will rescue her and suddenly realize he wants her and come back to her . Really? The next day if Rigo is in jail or dead , MAL will be looking for a new lover .

I was hoping semi had conquered his demons ...but not yet, I guess .

Arturo protests too much. He and cranky ,angry Diego will get a HEA. Paula will get her miracle cure . If only there were more real life miracles . Maybe she and put upon Pepe will have a baby to add to their Brady Bunch combined family . Lor will be sharing his vast scarf collection with Isa . Rafa minus MAL will playing piano at the board meetings. I am anxious to see the anvils that the writers hand out to the wicked .

HOW on earth can this silly story go on for 40-ish more episodes? With all the action we're seeing right now? I think someone posted there is a total of 96? The writers could wrap up this thing in four more weeks, if they wanted to.
