TU VIDA #61 The one where Renata finds out Karma is a b!tch…. Part 1/2

Here is my mini-recaplet. Some scenes are combined, some are very condensed. And some … I just couldn’t exactly understand what they said so help is appreciated.

Pepe tries to tell Rolo that he has no right to stay in Paula’s house. Rol says they are still legally married, won’t go along with the annulment, and he is here to stay. He has the legal papers and right. Paula points out that if he really loved her, he wouldn’t be pulling this stunt. Lots of talking, same-old same-old. Rol goes up to the guest room is is thinking “It’ll be easier to cure your tumor than to get rid of me.”

(* Was there ever a hearing about this interdiction? Doesn’t look like it. Seems like Familia Lugo would have had their day in court to defend Paula’s sanity, but, whatever ...)

RENATA’s guy friend Federico wants to be “paid” for helping Rata and starts pawing at her. She is appalled and trying to get away. He is trying to rape her! She makes it up the stairs and locks him in the basement. He says she WILL fulfill her promise and she WILL BE HIS! (yikes) Rata calls Gnat for help, tells her that Fede tried to rape her. Gnat accuses her of being a drama queen and making this up like all the other things. And besides, have him arrested if it’s that big a problem. And hangs up on Rata. Well then…

Isabela brings a breakfast tray to MAL. Isa asks where is Rafa. Mal lays into Isa with all her victimhood. Mal missed the class on being a good house-guest. She complains the food is cold, smells bad, and tosses the entire tray overboard. Kudos to Isa, who tells Mal that if she’s not happy here, she can leave, go stay at Pepe’s…that house is empty because he’s moving in with ….. Paula. Mal is all, “QUE????”

Lor discovers Rol is back in Casa Lugo, and asks what he’s doing in his (Lorenzo’s) house. Lor says-- you are not coming back here. Rol says I’m her husband and now her legal guardian. I have a responsibility to protect her and the kids. Lor says Paula needs peace. (good luck with that) Rolo says they have more important things, like getting Natalia out of their life and the company. Lor says he needs to regain control of his own business. Rol says that since he’s Paula’s legal guardian, he can have Nat sued or arrested (I’m not sure which word he said)
 

Tu VIDA #61 Part 2/2

ANDI has organized a protest march! She and a dozen or more girls have banners with Renata’s picture on them, protesting her altering pics and putting them on the Intertubes. Rata sees this and does not appreciate their efforts.. okay... she goes ballistic on them, screeching, "How dare they???" (yes, dear, they dare….) Forgetting rather conveniently that she used Andi’s face on altered photos on social media without permission, Rata says they have no right to use her NIL (Name ,Image, Likeness) on their posters.
- Rafa breaks up the brawl and has Rata arrested. (Woot!)

JAILBIRDS ‘R’ US --- Renata is NOT thrilled to be hauled off to jail. She demands her one phone call. The guard says okay but quit yer screaming! Rata calls Nat, who tells Rata she’s a spoiled brat who needs to learn how to work for a living and to justify her existence. Seriously, Nat tells her she doesn’t have time for her drama and hangs up. (That was satisfying)
- Rata is on her own. She’ll probably call Emiliano next … oops, wait, she used up her one free phone call, too bad.

Back at the restaurant, Lucia and Andi explain to Gracia how they are standing up to people to alter photos and put the on the internet without permission. Mal walks up and overhears this and, of course, it is ALL ABOUT HER. She says "I almost died yesterday, fell off a cliff and now I have this scar on my face, and here you are with Andi having fun. What nerve!"

Alex comes over to Lorenzo’s to talk. We’ve heard it all before….. Alex tells Lor he allways knew Lor was the sperm donor of Rafa but he (Alex) is Rafa’s dad. He tells Lor all about his talk with Julieta, back in the day, etc. Lorenzo tells Alex he’ll help him get his property back. Alex says he came over to clear the air. He wants no more secrets between them.

Catalina calls Nat and tells her to get to the office right away. There’s trouble. We see Rolando in the background, in a conference room, no telling what he’s saying to the people.

NATALIA goes to the office and the guards won’t let her into the building. Rolando walks up and tells her to calm down and leave. He tried to call her all morning and she never answered his calls.

She tells him he made a big mistake by trying to lock her out and she threatens to tell Paula why she is a widow.

Rol gives her the death stare.

Looks like things are heating up.

TU VIDA #61 a P.S.


Oops, I missed typing in the scene where Paula is getting dressed after having a very bad spell of forgetting where her clothes are. Then she has a terrible headache, then a seizure of some sort, and a nosebleed. Pepe is a saint, caring for her. Later, she is dressed and putting on makeup and sees Germán in the mirror.

Doris, another impressive, clear and concise recap.

Watching Paula in mental and physical pain, lost and delusional was heartbreaking. Pepe was indeed "a saint caring for her".

"Rol goes up to the guest room is is thinking “It’ll be easier to cure your tumor than to get rid of me.” At long last, Rol finally speaks the truth. He is unbearable and unwatchable.

Fed assaulting tiny Rata was sickening. She needs to report him not only for what he did but for what he threatens to do next time.

You have to give Gnat her props. She seduces Rafa seamlessly, disses and dismisses Rata, and readily challenges Rol. All in a day's work without breaking a sweat.

Rafa has Rata arrested for what she did to Andi. He finally does something worthwhile.

MAL was obviously never told that good houseguests don't insult or antagonize their hosts, nor do they throw their food on the floor. I took great joy in MAL's shocked expression following Isa inviting her to move to Pepe's as he is now living at Paula's. If only she had fallen over a cliff.

Rol and Natalia turning on each other this quickly in unexpected. That doesn't mean it's any less savored. I can't wait!

Thanks Doris, I enjoyed that. My Spanish is not very good but it sounded like Renata had actually promised sex to Federico if he accomplished his goal. Or her goal would be what it really was. He said he did it and she wanted proof. I guess she’s expecting a drunken Emi showing up at her door. I think she wanted a picture or video. So I didn’t feel sorry for her when Federico was after her. But I did love the way Nat put her down twice in one episode. Obviously Renata isn’t quite ready to swim with the sharks.

Pepe was so wonderful to Paula. He’s definitely a keeper. It’s strange how Rol doesn’t seem to see Pepe’s good qualities. I guess he thinks he’s a better man. I didn’t realize he said that about easy to get rid of the tumor than him. I’m anxiously awaiting his downfall.

I thought it was Lor’s house. It would be easy to get rid of Rol then. Which I guess is why Rol plans to help Lor. Although I doubt his help will benefit anyone but himself.

I hope Isabela leaves the mess for MAL to clean up. Although it’s Isabela’s house so she’ll want to have it cleaned up. But let MAL go back to her own house. She was able to walk to the restaurant so she should be able to take care of herself.

How is it possible to get someone arrested on the spot without proof? I'm not complaining, of course, but don't they need proof? Is this telenovela law finally working in the good guys' favour?
I'm not entirely sure why Rolando is determined to stay with Paula when she clearly doesn't want him. Isn't it humiliating even for someone as obsessive as Rolando? He clearly doesn't have much hope she'll survive and now he betrayed Natalia. So I wonder what his plans are. He won't see all that money as he turned on Nat. oOr is he stupid enough to think he will? But it doesn't seem he wantsthe money all that much.
It might be wrong and I do feel a bit mean for saying this, but I found it hard to feel sorry for Renata. She seems to think he can boss everyone around, but it's funny she thought she could do that to Nat. I can't understand how she thought Nat could be trusted or that she'd rush to help her.
I wonder what Malena is planning now. Once she learns Rafa is rich she'll realise how spectacularly she has miscalculated. I always expect better from villains. What a disappointment!
I wonder about all the money Nat has. Didn't she borrow some from Rolando? I keep thinking she's in debt.

Well, it is ironic that MAL was injured because she thought it was a good plan to hang off a cliff so that Pepe would rescue her . Now, she blames everybody in the vicinity for her scars . The scars make her outside now reflect her inside . MAL is going to go berserk when she discovers that besotted Rafa has moved on from her nasty rejection and found another lover in addition to Pepe moving in with Paula. A bird in the hand , MAL. Now.....no birds at all . Does anybody remember Rigo was at the bottom of that cliff she fell off?

Rata, girl, you just learned a valuable lesson ...what goes around , comes around .

I dont think I can stand anymore of Paula's suffering . Does seeing German mean that she may be joining him soon? Would the writers actually let her die? This is not a Turkish dizi , but they surely are giving us large doses of suffering .

When is Zaida going to arrive, and when she does, is she going to bring any new information ?

GNat and Rol get worse and worse . Since GNat has found a hunky new lover , will she try to eliminate Rol. We haven't seen her kill anyone , but we know that Rol has killed twice. Maybe these evil two will cancel each other out.

Who is going to save the day?

What stood out most for me in this episode was Paula's brief memory loss and subsequent searing headache and faint spell. What a performance!! Kudos to Susanna.

Rol is planning to get Gnat fired and throw her out of the company. I can just see her arrive and wave that document he signed. I wouldn't doubt it if she had him sign something that also handed over any rights he has at the company or over Paula's finances.

R-ata in jail! Woopdeedooo! Let's see how all her parent's money and power will help. She used up her one phone call to Gnat who just buzzed her off.

Can't wait to see MAL's reaction when she finds out how much money Rafa now has.

I figured Rata promised Fed she would "do" him and was reneging on the deal.
While Rata was hauled off to jail, I was wondering if Fed had a bathroom down in that basement. Fed could die of dehydration, not that anyone would miss him. Maybe someone find his skeleton in a few months.

Why on earth Nat suggested 10M Pesos to Rafa is beyond me. That's only $600K in USD. Is he that dim? Still SMH.

So many delusional people in this wacky story...

Sorry I'm late, but my eyes needed time to get back to normal after the appointment.

I agree with all these comments except one: Renata is getting her just desserts. Not because Fed tried to rape her but because of the hard lessons she will be forced to learn:

--- Being rich does not entitle you to get away with hurting others
--- Other rich people won't always be there for you
--- Crying wolf doesn't work forever and her time ran out.

Her parents are never around for her; I wonder why...

Had I been Isabela I would have slapped Malena flat for the insults and the mess.

Considering that Paula was trying to annul her marriage to Rolando and the marriage was not even consummated, he should have no right to control her assets. The docs were not filed but other people knew she wanted this, including Lorenzo.
 

VIDA Ep. 62 Part 1 ( I wrote this quickly...hope I didn't leave out anything important. If I did , please fill in the gaps. And as always, 'scuse the typos!)

We start with Gnat hissing at Rol that he is a traitor! She is going to go tell Paula that he killed German right now! Rol tries to stop her as she screams "murderer" and tries to lead her away. After he tells her that he will kill her before she can tell Paula, Gnat knees him in the groin, gets to her car and takes off like a gnat outta hell.

At the restaurant, MAL wonders if they are celebrating that she lost the baby...or the scar she was left with. Gracia tries to intervene explaining that the girls are doing something good..for all those women who have been abused in some way. but MAL only changes her tune when Lucia explains that the celebration is partly for her since she was assaulted by RIgo. MAL even agrees to help out. MAL also gives a long "good mother" speech about how she thought of the kids when she woke up at the hospital.

Lor gives Pepe a rundown of all the symptoms Paula has had and will have,,,including hallucinations.

Paula is deciding which activity on her bucket list to pick next when she hears and sees German who suggests that she take the kids cart racing. When she closes her eyes as she cries and then opens her her eyes, German is gone.

Rol is in hot pursuit of Gnat.

R-ata is ugly crying and whining for someone to get her out of there. Meanwhile, Fede is watching the uploaded video of the protest against R-ata.

Lor knows that Paula doesn't tell him everything that she is experiencing and asks Pepe to share what he has observed. Pepe tells him that Paula has experienced some of the symptoms and adds that Paula has not lost hope. Lor comments that the reason Paula regained her hope is her love for Pepe (not her kids!!) When Pepe worries about everything that is going on and its effects on Paula, Lor suggests that they try to keep much that is happening from Paula. Just then, Rafa calls Lor asking to meet at his parent's house.

Fede goes to the prison and mocks R-ata whose video has gone viral. He laughs that if she were to report him no one would believe her. Fede is willing t pay her baik, but R-ata has to pay what she owes him. R_ata would rather rot in jail!When she adds that she has enough money to pay her bail, Fede reminds her that her parents are on the other side of the world and aren't even thinking about her. He assures that she will be his!

Rol is still in hot pursuit. When he is beside Gnat's car, an on-coming tractor trailer makes him swerve off the road. (Darnnit, not a scratch!)

The kids arrive and when Paula goes to greet them, she tells them that "German" and she have a plan for them, She realizes her mistake and quickly says that Pepe and she ar taking them for go-kart racing.

 

VIDA Ep. 62 Part 2

At the restaurant, the celebration is on. Isabela looks toward the stage with an odd look (what Univision didn't show was that she was looking at Gracia who was singing her heart out with Alex right beside her playing guitar. Later, Alex approaches Isa and tells her they need to talk.

Lor goes to see Rafa who tells Lor that he and MAL broke up. He wants his own home and business, so he needs Lor to give him money. Rafa wants to be the boss and prove to everyone what he is capable of...he asks for the 10 million.

ALex confesses to Isa about joining Julieta in destroying her and Lor's love. They made sure Lor left and never came back...until now after Julieta died. Isa is hurt with all the lies and secrets. Isa asks if there was anything more between him and Julieta. After Alez assures that there was nothing more between him and Julieta, Isa asks if there is anything between him and Gracia.

Gnat runs out of gas; so Rol catches up to her. Rol tells her he needs to keep her quiet at all costs.,,and explains that firing her from the company is only part of a strategy.

Paula and company arrive back home. She sees German at the top of the stairs...and stares. Rosa notices Paula's pensive demeanor as does Pepe. Paula explains that she would have liked German to see how wonderful the kids are. As she tilts her head to be kissed by German, Pepe comments that he is sure German would have been very proud of hte kids. Paula then asks Rosa to accompany her out to get some fresh air.

Rol assures Gnat that he tried to call her earlier to explain his plan but she never answered. Getting her out of the company is temporary. He doesn't want the company since he has his own companies and fortune. He only wants to get Paula's trust back, he wants Paula to die in his arms. Gnat stil refuses to get out of the car, so Rol takes off.

Paula tells Rosa that she is seeing her dead husband, German. She wonders if Rol is right in saying that she is going crazy.

Lor agrees to give Rafa the money, Rafa thinks Lor is agreeing out of guilt, but Lor assures he isn't since he only found out about Rafa a few months ago. Lor then asks Rafa about Andrea's mother and her whereabouts. Rafa has a hissy fit and tells Lor that Andrea can't find out anything about her mother! He explains that Zaida is in prison. Zaida was a beautiful woman with a strong character. She was not happy when she got pregnant.

Alex wonders why Isa is bringing this up. Isa explains that Alex will someday move on. Alex assures he isn't thinking about that right now.

Rosa assures Paula that she is not ging crazy because Paula knows that what she is seeing is not real. After Paula recalls the doctor mentioning hallucinations, Rosa suggests that German might be a manifestation of her tumor...so Paula should listen and talk to German,

Rol comes back to Gnat with some gasoline. He suggests that they resolve their problem in the same place as always...in bed.

Quick scene of Alex walking up to Gracia who asks if everything is alright. they give each other "the look."

Rol and Gnat are now at Rol's place. After she tells him to get drinks, she takes off and dashed to Paula's house where she storms in demanding to talk to Paula.

Rosa tries to stop Gnat only to gett yelled at by the Gnat. Paula asks Rosa and Pepe to go out so she can talk to Gnat.


 

VIDA Ep. 62 Part 3

Rafa continues to tell Lor about Zaida who studied psychology and was very intelligent. But Zaida only wanted to help her self. She was so ambitious that she slept with her boss; and when the boss only used her and threw her to the curb, Zaida stabbed him to death! Lor insists that Andrea should be told. but Rafa urges Lor to keep this to himself. Andrea can't find out that her mother is a murderer!

Rol now storms into Paula's house; and Pepe tell him to get in line to talk to Anrdea.

Paula and Gnat have their verbal brawl. Gnat grits her teeth as she berates Paula for not appreciating all she has done...and Paula took away the only man she has loved! When Rol enters, Gnat tells him that she was just about to tell Paula what Rol did to German. She then turns to Paula and tells her that Rol is responsible for German's death!

Your superior writing framed this frustrating episode in perfect context.

Of course my favorite line was "...gets to her car and takes off like a gnat outta hell". Excellent!

I thought Paula's scenes imagining German were beautifully done. Susana is so luminous, you could literally see the light and love eminating from her eyes.

Rol and Gnat's not so great race had me scratching my head. Pure venom one minute and then lust the next. I can't wait until Rol and Gnat cancel each other out...

Pepe is gallant, true and loving...

So finally some forward motion on the character we are dying to meet - Zaira. Speaking of dying, "... when the boss only used her and threw her to the curb, Zaida stabbed him to death!" Rafa's track record is one, long, sordid list: MAL, Gnat and seemingly the worst of them all, Zaira!

In truth, I don't think Alex realizes the depth of his feelings for Gracia right now, but believe she has loved him from afar but stayed away due to loyalty to Isa. There is no need to stay away any longer.

Well, it's confirmed that Rafa has terrible taste in women. If he was blindfolded, he would still pick out the psychopath in the room. Yeesh....

So, Rafa thinks he can just start a business with Lor's money and be successful. The guy whose experience at the restaurant is "taking out the garbage." Qué??? This guy is denser than concrete.

Given her hallucinations, I could not believe Paula went to drive go-karts with the kids.

When Gnat was out of gas and Rolo was talking to her, we could see the blade of what looked like a hunting knife that he was slowly brandishing, and her eyes were following it. He must keep it handy in case he needs to murder anyone else. She needs to take Rol as a threat more seriously.

It was rather ironic to see Nat telling Paula that even though she duped Pepe's family out of their land and stealing Paula & Lor's company, Paula HAS TO TRUST HER about Rolando being a threat.

It was a relief that Pepe heard Gnat's accusation of Rol killing German. Otherwise, it could have been chalked up to another hallucination.

If Fede goes to Dubai to link up with his parents, as he said he would, and Rata is out of phone calls (and nobody will miss her), my money is on Emiliano finding and bailing her out. Or maybe her parents will come home and remember they have a daughter.

It somehow feels Isabela doesn't want Alex and Gracia to get involved or am I imagining things? It appears this idea didn't cross her mind until Gracia mentioned it. Then Isabela's tone was kind of weird when she asked if Gracia would like to be the woman Alex fell in love with. And why does it matter to her anyway if she's with Lorenzo? She interrogates Gracia and Alex and I didn't like it.
Why is it that many women, not just evil ones, always blame other women foreither 'stealing their man' or getting involved wiith,say, a married man. It's like men have no agency in their eyes and are never to blmae.'men will be men',i.e., creatures with no ability to think once they see an attractive woman.
Rafa baffles me. He just seems to want to be mad about something. Lorenzo agrees to give him the money so he is complaining he does that out of guilt. At least he could provide arguments with a bit of truth in them. I wonder what he plans to tell Andrea if she does learn the truth. He himself is allowed to be angry about not being told who is biological father is and he doesn't realise Andrea will be just as mad and he won't be able to use 'for your own good' card. He should also realise that the truth comes out at some point. He feels way too safe in theknowledge that people will keep their mouths shut. Lorenzo did come back after all. I hate the fact they made Rafa so stupid and eveninsensitive. But he needs some positive qualities to outweigh all this stupidity and selfishness.
Emiliano rescuing Renata when she has harmed his girlfriend will be sad to watch. Even if it's because she supposedly helped him, it would mean he picked her over Lucia. It's surprisingly easy for people to brush things off when they aren't the ones being affected by someone's actions. I often wonder to waht degree all people are inherently selfish and think first about themselves.I wonder what it would take for Emiliano to see what Renata is really like. I bet Lucia will have to actually help Emiliano because there's simply no one else around.

Hello, Chickie, thank you for bringing us this excellent review of the mounting drama.

Where to begin ??? This episode was a lot.

First, Paula's husband ( and Susan's real-life hub) got to make an appearance . It was comforting to see German near Paula as if he still wants to help her . Thjs happens in real life when lost loved ones hover near those they left behind. Then , gnat (out of hell...good one, Chick) comes barreling in chased by equally evil crazy Rol.

So.... evil genius gnat( legend in her own mind) ...runs out of gas . What a mastermind.

Isa looked upset because she was hoping to have both Lor and Alex for the rest of her days. ( Have her cake and eat it ,too.).

I think the guards might help ranting Rata escape just to get rid of her and her demented shrieking.

Big Baby Rafa. Boo hoo. He asks dad for 10 mil as if he is asking for his weekly allowance . Lor might as well have flushed that money down the toilet .

I can't wait for the storyline the writers have crafted for much anticipated Zaida. What will she bring to the simmering pot?

I wouldn't be surprised if this happens. Last night I was thinking of O. Henry's short story "The Ransom of Red Chief".

I believe this really happens, and you have a good theory. It is much better than tumor-caused hallucinations.

Great work, RGV Chick. Loved "gnat out of hell."

The hunting knife made me think about the most perverse murder I've ever seen in a novela, the one in Fuego en la Sangre whose male villain dispatched a female villain during sex. Come to think of it, that aired in the same time slotback in the day. So who would kill who this time?

I have my doubts as to Paula believing Gnat at this point. Lorenzo needs to fight this battle.

Nobody should believe Malena either.

As to Renata, she needs to rot where she is. Or if her parents come back to get her she needs to be put in the convent school from Persona Nuestros Pecados.

Is anyone still watching this hit mess ? What is up with Bahar\Cema\ Kismet\Ceyda?. I am so confused.

Also , Arda is not Ceyda and Emre's son. Somehow he was switched with the nasty little guy who is now living with Ceyda and Arda , but Emre doesn't seem to want anything to do with this new kid. Arda can do puzzles speedyquick.

Arif continues to be kind and long suffering .

Raif is pouting in his room because , I guess, his mother fired Ceyda for stealing her jewelry to get Bahar out of trouble with Cema ( mafiosa ) who Bersan seems to have gotten Bahar .

Sirin is happily harassing Doruk and Nissan and spying on Bahar. Help.

They really shouldn´t have used thisýou are my reason to live´phrases when talking about Paula´s relationship with Pepe. I mean, now it appears that as far as her kids were concerned, all she cared about was that they had someone legally responsible for them, but falling in love somehow is a bigger motivation to live? I like romantic plots, but they should'nt have made Pepe into such a big factor. It's bad enough Paula missed so much of her kids' lives. They just made it worse with that dialogue. Is it obvious this matters to me way more than it should?

Thanks, Rgv Chick, I enjoyed the recap. Love reading things I missed, like a look between Alex and Gracia. Sometimes I’m too busy reading the captions to see all that’s going on!

Lorenzo is not impressing me. He asks Rafa what he’s going to do with the money and Rafa has no plan. Start a business, but no clue as to what his interests or talents seem to be. I would say “come up with a good plan, telling what you will need to do and what it t cost”. But Lorenzo just is going to give him the money. He might as well burn it. Plus I thought Rafa was going to give the money to Nat, oops I meant buy the land to save his parents. I am glad Lorenzo told him he has nothing to feel guilty about as he just found out he had a son.

I love the scenes with German. I feel he’s there to tell her she’s doing the right thing, he likes Pepe, and she’s going to be ok.

I’m not sure why Rol went back and helped Nat and let her live. But poor Paula, having these awful people in her life.

waterlily - ITA with you, too, about Paula and her reason to live is Pepe, not her kids. She is probably one of the worst protagonists ever?

There aren't many characters in this telenovela for whom I'm cheering, maybe just Lucía and Andrea.

Sirin is horrible, not only got Ceyda fired but is plotting to get Arda taken from her (his puzzle skills have led him into education at a foundation, thanks to Fazilet).
Cem, can’t help much. He’s got his hooks firmly into Bahar. Kismet is secretly involved in his bad acts, but Arif caught on some in last night’s episode.
Emre definitely wants new kid, his bio kid (name Satimis). Emre had to go care for his Mom and left kid with Ceyda temporarily.

Emre seemed so focused on rejecting poor, sweet Arda and finding his bio son. I windered why he left new kid with Ceyda abd tgen disappearing . Did they let us know how the babies got switched? Is Kismet involved? She is not the good character I thought she was . The guy who raised Satimas,(?) Seems awful and has turned him into a pretty obnoxious kid. Arif is my hero. He anyways tries to help everyone in his quite , caring way , and he was so kind to take Saginaw to school, but the kid didn't go inside and later took the money that a customer left at Arif's restaurant .

I have never seen a villain who is as gleeful as Sirin. She takes such delight in causing trouble and even loves tormenting children . What huge anvil will flatten those curls?

This show has changed so much . I wonder if the writers are different for this final season .

Satimis, Emre did a lot to get him. Plus Emre was going to pay all his savings, $10,000 dollars, to Satimis’s creepy “father” to leave Arda with Ceyda, but Sirin screwed that up.
Satimis, Bahar keeps saying he grew up basically on his own without love and they must be patient with him.

Kismet, don’t have a good handle on the Cem thing. She actually seems above Cem in whatever their game is, she gives him orders.
Meanwhile the rest of them are trusting Kismet for advice. Bahar went to her to try to get away from Cem.

I never saw first two seasons, so can’t compare, but I really like Mujer, it is quiet and character-driven.

The Chilean original was 126 episodes. Its Wikipedia page says these were 30-minute episodes' the cast list looks a little shorter, though.

Diana, Susana is brilliant, isn't she? Despite the disturbing storyline and some of the things the directors are making her do, she shines! Rol and Gnat remind me of "War of the Roses"; maybe they'll end up the same way--cancelling each other out (one can hope!)

Doris, Rafa thinks he can just start a business with Lor's money and be successful. The guy whose experience at the restaurant is "taking out the garbage." Qué??? This guy is denser than concrete." I am in total agreement. I can see him handing over the money to Gnat and her taking off with it. What a waste of a man! I too was afraid no one else would hear Gnat's revelation to Paula; there will be no doubts about what Paula heard.

We've only heard Rafa's side regarding Zaida. Can't wait to see what Zaida will have to say.

Waterlily, regarding Rafa, But he needs some positive qualities to outweigh all this stupidity and selfishness. Sheesh, it would take ALOT of positive qualities to make up for all his shortcomings.

Susan, I think the guards might help ranting Rata escape just to get rid of her and her demented shrieking. You had me LOL with this!

Urban, I have my doubts as to Paula believing Gnat at this point. Lorenzo needs to fight this battle. I agree that Lor needs to take the helm, but up to now, he has been a disappointment--done nothing but chase after Isa. I love Soler, but this character just doesn't do anything for me.
