TELEMUNDO Y MÁS (#1): El Conde: Amor y Honor y más: Week of September 9, 2024

Welcome to Page 1 (Monday edition) of the Telemundo y Más page, issued twice a week: Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00 PM.

Here are the current telenovelas (all times are Eastern Daylight Time):

10 - 11PM - El Conde: Amor y Honor**

**It's not clear what Telemundo will be showing on Tuesday evening. Telemundo's Program Guide claims that starting at 8:50pm and running until 11 pm, it will be covering the Presidential Debate. However, both Zap2It and my Comcast listing (both of which are set to Pacific Time, since I'm on the West Coast) claim that Telemundo will cover the debate starting at 5:50pm (which is 8:50pm Eastern Time) and that El Conde will be shown as usual at 10pm. I find it hard to believe that the West Coast will see an episode that the rest of the country won't see. Perhaps Telemundo will show pieces of earlier episodes on the West Coast? That's my guess. But it's just a guess.

Everyone is welcome to join in the conversation. Since discussions of all the novelas share the same page, please remember to put the name of the telenovela you're referring to at the top of your post, so readers can easily find the conversations they're looking for.

By common agreement, this group DOES NOT discuss previews, trailers, or any other plot information not found in a current or past episode of the current production. Spoilers WILL be removed by the admin. This includes reference to earlier productions of the story, and even the original novel. Thanks for your cooperation!

conde

At the end of tonight's episode, they announced that El Conde will NOT be shown tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 10) because of the Presidential Debate. It will return as usual on Wednesday.

El Conde, Monday, pt. 1 of 3

Rehash of Grandma Josie giving her beloved granddaughter Sofie the abortion smoothie. No redemption ever for Josie. Back in her office, she has the letter that Sofie wanted to send to Javier and Felipe sees it too. He pretends he’ll do something about it but Josie will take care of it, as per usual even though Felipe doesn’t like being left on the outside of this. But Felipe is more worried about his political career than his family. Sounds like the baby will be passed off as Brendan’s. Poor gringito.

Caye is still having her breakdown in the kitchen with Lucrecia, taking about her youth and being hungry. She’s not feeling grateful to el Conde for saving her anymore. She feels used. El Conde, in his office, still tries to defend his actions to Ricardo. But he’s going to do venganza on everyone who hurt him and who hurt Caye’s father. And besides, the doctor TOLD him not to say anything to Caye. Ric tries to get him to see things from Caye’s viewpoint. It’s not really working, and now Caye, in the kitchen, is very angry, which can’t be good. Then Ale pulls out all the stops and reminds Ric that they all have secrets, right? Basically hinting that Ric needs to shush because he’s not one to talk about what’s all good and right.

Pedro talks to Antonio about his money troubles with Vicente and wants money and needs it now, before the wedding to Dolores. Antonio has it, but says it’s not really his. And if he gives Pedro Violeta’s suitcase, then to el infierno with him. No redemption for you!

Memo in his role as The Fixer tries to calm down Ric, who is still mad about Caye.

Mari shows Nanny the article that David wrote and Nanny is rightfully worried about David putting his nariz in the middle of things. Mari doesn’t want David in this either, and what if he finds out that Ale is his padre?

Josie lies to Gerardo about Sofia being harassed (I think) by Javier because Sofia is “decente”. (decente-ish). Josie is afraid Sofia will do something stupid and she “doesn’t want this scandal to impact Gerardo”. Liar.

Antonio is going to give Pedro the money of his friend, but he’s not going to tell Pedro who it is. Can’t tell if this will be a gift to Pedro, or if Antonio is going to “invest” it for Vio, lying to her about where it is.

Vio comes to see Caye because she was worried, but she unfortunately brought her husband. Caye is less than polite to Vic, but Alejandro interrupts and smooths things over. He gets her to go rest because “the doctor said so”. Vio is still worried about her friend. Ale explains her attitude as part of her illness.

Miguel comes in and needs to talk to el Conde. Vic greets him warmly but Miguel doesn’t return the friendliness.

Teresa and Little Ric chat and she offers to teach him English. I hope he’s as good as Brendan. And Vio interrupts and makes them blush a little but doesn’t give them crap like just about everyone else here would. She’s still good people.

El Conde, Monday, pt. 2 of 3

Mari is somehow with Miguel now and they talk about the kids. Mari says her sone is a good kid, but he asks “what about your husband”? He either doesn’t want the kids together or doesn’t want anything to do with her because of Ger, and Mari is thinking about this.

Sofia is in pain and the maid wants to get help, but she gets it from Josie, who tells Sofia this is normal. What?? Sofia wants her doctor (not the family one who spilled the secret) but she’s not going to get it. Then Josie locks her in the room, which Sofia realizes and bangs on the door but she’s in too much pain to do much else.

Mari and Ale talk about David’s job at the paper and she wants to know why Ale is letting him write these articles. Ale says he’s mature enough. Mari asks if he made David write about the murders of Miguel’s parents so long ago. They talk about the murder and Alejandro Gaitan. Mari defends Ale, saying he was a good man. I missed the rest of this bit of the convo.

Memo talks to Cayetana and tells her the conde has investigated her past. Still The Fixer, that Memo.

Mari and el Conde talk more and she asks if he’s found anything about who killed them. She also tells him about Gabi's real mother leaving, she’d do anything for her kids, etc.

Vic and Pedro are hanging out in the office, drinking. Pedro wants to set the wedding date so they have time to plan the wedding that Vic should have, but he'd have it today if he could.

Memo shows Caye all the articles and info that the conde has found about Caye’s past, and that they suspect Vic killed her father but there is no proof. He tells her she may have gotten hit on the boat to Spain and that and the trauma is why she doesn’t remember her real name- Amelia. I think Cayetana suits her more.

As Mari leaves el conde, she’s confronted by Caye who gives her grief about being there again. Mari isn’t in the mood but Caye says you know what, he’s yours. She walks off. Guess that crush is over. Good.

Vio talks to Vic about her concern about her friend Caye and Vic tells her to stop thinking about that loca. He goes on about the wedding and all the noble Spaniards in his hotel "and ole". “And ole”, sighs Vio, who couldn’t care less about the Spanish nobility.

Pedro and Ruben talk in the bar but I missed what Pedro said no to.

Leticia gives Javier a letter that came for him. He assures her that everything will be fine, thus ensuring that everything will not be fine.

Vic tells Dolores that they have a date for the wedding. In two months. She asks why so soon? Good for her for questioning this, but then she goes along with it and Vio is voluntold that she’ll be helping plan the wedding.

Pau bangs on the door of her room because she’s been locked in too. Felipe comes in to yell at her about the pregnancy and hit Pau. Again. He tells her the kids are getting married and if Pau doesn’t’ obey, it’ll be Sofia who pays the consequences. No redemption for him anymore either.

El Conde, Monday, pt. 3 of 3

Carmen talks to the “friar” (Ale) and pretty sure that means he’ll be going to h-e-double toothpicks too if he’s fake giving absolution. But they talk about her girls. He offers up his “friend”, el conde, who can help her get her girls back.

Vic has gotten a letter saying they know what he did. He remembers burying Carmen, and now he’s worried about who else knows.

Pedro gets caught by the Duchess with some other woman. She pretends to not see well, and he gives some explanation of the woman. I think she questioned Dolores- she has money but class?- but says if she makes him happy, then fine. And she wants to bring the family from Spain to Mexico for the wedding. Ha! But he collects himself quickly and says nah, and promises to go to Spain after the wedding.

Ruben lies at Lucrecia that Pedro owes someone a lot of money and is being threatened. He says she can get the money to pay off the debt and his life is in her hands. Lots of people losing redemption in this episode.

Ale takes in someone else, the maid that was working for Sofia who got caught by Antonio with the letter. And Ale finds out the letter didn’t get to Javier.

Who is sneaking into the house to see Sofia but he’s caught by Felipe and Antonio. Seems like this was a setup? Or they knew because they intercepted the letter and read it? Sofia wants to see her doctor but Josie tells her to trust the family doc. Sofia comes out of the bathroom and says she’s bleeding and then she passes out. Josie is worried. Probably because Brendan's money, not because she loves Sofia.

End. Looks like we have to wait until Wednesday to see if Sofia gets to live.

These are the people who better end up dead or in serious jail: Josie, Felipe, Antonio, Ruben, Vic, Pedro. These people are making Gerardo look not so bad.

"CONDE" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION
K: Howdy from the Alamo City CarayCaray Family. I just love your recap of last night's episode.

*I told ALL of y'all so that Sofia was losing the baby. I also warned all of you that Paulina might NOT be among the living.

*Body Count likely increasing in the closing stretch. Big question is how long before Jackass Felipe & Buji Joise find out about Amaranta because it's only a matter of time before it happens.

*Slippery Pedro still slippery. I see he wants to flee to Spain ? Good luck with that scheme LOL.

*Glad Cayetana wants nothing to do with Alejandro & Blabbermouth Mariana: Good! Move to Spain or Portugal.

*Teresa & Ricardo, Jr., being together ? What could possibly go wrong because you know Vic will target Ricardo, Jr., if Dolores catches Teresa with Ricardo Jr.,

*Dumbass Ricardo needs to MAN UP. At this point, I would prefer seeing both Ricardo & Amaranta together (IF she doesn't get whacked).

*Personally I'm looking forward to seeing "SED DE VENGANZA" beginning this Fall.

Conde
Good job. I only saw the first 15 minutes last night will catch the rest later, maybe with English cc so I can answer some of your questions.
The part I did see makes me think Josie was forging a letter to Javier in Sofia's handwriting. Glad to hear the maid wasn't killed. That is a small plus in Antonio's favor.
Let's not forget Gerardo had Cordelia killed and the witness. He will do something awful again before we know it. But I had to chuckle at your comment about him not looking so bad.

"CONDE" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION
Kat in SC: You know it's only a matter of time before Jackass Felipe & Buji Joise find out about Amaranta because it's only a matter of time & you know it!

Blabbermouth Mariana is getting too uppity & David's determined to become the next Gray Grantham (see the 1993 movie "The Pelican Brief").

conde

Thanks VERY much, K, for this great recap.

I agree that Antonio's giving Pedro Violeta's money was terrible. However, it's by no means the only reason that Antonio should not be redeemed, starting with his killing the boy who saw him with Josie in the stable.

I enjoyed your saying about Little Ric's language skills, "I hope he's as good as Brendan." If I remember correctly, Teresa assures him that English is easy. What??? The pronunciation by itself is enough to drive someone crazy!

Again, IIRC, in the conversation between Mari and El Conde, El Conde makes a disparaging remark about Ale, and Mari jumps passionately to Ale's defense. I suspect El Conde got exactly the response he'd hoped for.

I hope you're right about Caye no longer wanting El Conde, but somehow I don't believe she's really over him. Sigh.

I'm not sure, but I think Ruben may have suggested to Pedro that they take the money and disappear before Pedro is unmasked. Pedro says no (since he doesn't yet have the money he's expecting to get as soon as he marries and, in fact, doesn't really have much money at all, as far as I can tell, since he passed along to Vicente the money Antonio gave him).

I loved your saying about Javier, "He assures her that everything will be fine, thus ensuring that everything will not be fine."

Thanks for adding a new word to my vocabulary: "voluntoid." I'd never seen or heard that word before, but it's perfect for so many situations, including Violeta's.

I don't think we'll have to wait for Wednesday to find out whether Sofia gets to live. I can't believe that the telenovela will kill her off. Her fetus, however....

I agree with all the folks you've mentioned as not worthy of being redeemed, but I'm not sure they make Gerardo seem not so bad. Gerardo was responsible for Ale's being framed and cruelly imprisoned, and he was responsible for several murders, even if he didn't pull the trigger. And I hate to think of what he'll do if/when he finds out that David is the author of the newspaper articles AND is Ale's biological son. I hope he is sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole and no cell phone or newspaper to throw.

Conde

Gracias, K. Great job.

"Carmen talks to the “friar” (Ale) and pretty sure that means he’ll be going to h-e-double toothpicks too if he’s fake giving absolution." -- true that! How lucky Ale is that the real friar is always elsewhere when he needs him to be.

I sure hope Vi's dough doesn't disappear for good with Pedro. I thought Antonio was shrewder than this. Why put Vi in jeopardy to help imbecile Pedro?

Pau should've moved into Sofia's bedroom ages ago. She would've been able to protect her better.

You go Caye. Let Ale know exactly how you feel. Hmm, wondering if her crush on him is now really over. Hope so.

Thanks so much, K, for another snappy, funny recap. I really love your asides. Abortion smoothie, whoa! Also loved "decente-ish".

These writers surely do know how to make us despise characters. Antonio giving Pedro Vio's money was horrible. Is it possible that the $$$ were just the profit she made on the investments? Are there really investments? If Ale really did make money for her in the stock market, could the principal still be in there working for her? Really want Vio to end up happy and rich when Vic gets his just desserts.

Miguel was guarded about why David and Lorena can't be together when he spoke to Mari. It's not just that Gerardo is his opponent for the presidency, it's all the nefarious stuff he's done. He doesn't seem to know they reconciled.

Guess Felipe never saw Romeo and Juliet. What a spineless piece of cat poo he is! Has no feelings for his child and beats Pau every chance he gets.

Mari went on and on about Alejandro Gaitán's innocence, surely music to Ale's ears. But he seems to be manipulating her too.

Got a big kick out of he double toothpicks. I doubt they'd show Ale in disguise giving someone absolution. Too many Catholics in the audience.

I'm thinking Ruben sent the letter to Vic. Ruben is working his way up the rotten men chart. And he's too dumb to realize that Pedro would off him in a jiffy. He's trying to help Pedro by advising him to split with the cash.

I can't decide if the baby is really gone. 20 years of watching and the good girls always hang onto their pregnancies. I saw one where she got to the clinic waiting room for the abortion and left in tears.

"CONDE" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION
Novelera: With all due respect, the baby is a GONER. Sofia & Javier are collateral damage as far as I'm concerned. Paulina might NOT be among the living by the end of this month.

On Amaranta: Only a matter of time before Buji Joise & Jackass Felipe kill her too once they find out about Amaranta's friendship with Paulina.

OT:
Juanita: My comment was removed for some reason. I posted a comment earlier this morning.

I would be very surprised if Sofia loses the baby, even if she is only 17 and just found out she has epilepsy and is living with her psycho grandmother. The pregnancy may stick around a way to trap Brendan even more, but if he doesn't realize something is wrong soon, then he's a dunce. Or a con like his grandfather probably is. This show seems a little too traditional to end a pregnancy like this, and it's not like they need to drill into us how bad Josie is. We know.

El Conde #48
Lots of things happening at the same time. Josie sends for her doctor, Rosario, when Sofia passed out after leaving the bathroom. Javier is arrested for trespassing. Memo informs conde of everything that is happening . Conde is getting the best lawyer for Javier. He won't allow history to repeat itself
Dr. Rosario wants to send Sofia to the hospital but Josie refuses. She can't risk anyone finding out Sofia is not a virgin. When the Dr tries to argue for her treatment Josie threatens him with exposure of secrets.

Ruben calls Vicente. I sent you the note. I know what you did to your wife. Blackmails him for cash. If you don't give it to me I will tell the Marques about you and the wedding will be off.

Rodrigo visits Javier in jail. for He tells his father. He got a supposed letter from Sofia and that it was a trap. He never hit Felipe (one of the charges against him). Rodrigo tells Javier the Conde is getting the best lawyer for him.

Now Ruben is pressing Pedro for money. He has 2 days or he will tell Vicente the truth about him.

Lucretia tells Memo that Ruben found Pedro but that he owes some lender a lot of money. Will Memo talk to the count for her (i.e. will he lend me the money)
A maid delivers a tray of food to Paulina. Paulina grabs a sharp knife off the tray and threatens the maid, then runs to Sofia's room ( not sure how she got in since Josie has been locking her door). If course Josie enters soon after followed by Felipe. Paulina threatens them with the knife, she is staying with her daughter. Felipe manhandles it away from her. Brendan comes in to see what all the commotion is about but Josie sends him away. In a later scenes she tells him that Paulina is crazy and that is what all the yelling was about.

David and Mariana are talking together about Javier. She reassures David that the conde is getting the best lawyer for him. Gerardo comes in and as David defends his friend, Ger tells him he is going to jail for a long time and David can't be friends with him. David stands up for Javier and himself.

Caye is sad about the count. She loved and trusted him. He made her feel safe, now she is do mad at him. Ric tells her some of his life story as an empathetic friend. He agrees he also is mad at conde, but that he has a good heart.

El Conde #48 part 2
Conde sends for Dr. Rosario. He butters him up and says he has a client in a different city that needs his care. He pays him well and sends him off. Meanwhile a different Dr is tending to Paulina. He slips her a note from the count then as Felipe comes in the room wondering where Rosario is, the Dr says he is away on a case. He perhaps said he was a partner with Rosario, but I'm not sure. He injects Paulina with a sedative ( is it real or was the note telling her to pretend to fall asleep, I'm not sure). As the scene fades out we see Felipe with white cloth in his hands. Was he going to tie Paulina up or was I seeing things. Next scene was Josie telling Brendan about crazy Paulinea.
Another scene with Memo and Conde, probably Memo filling him in on all the moving pieces in his chess game....
Rodrigo tries to calm Leticia down about Javier 's incarceration, Conde has it under control (we wish, things are kinda spiraling out of control in this episode).

Mari is with a still sedated Paulina ( I guess it wasn't a fake sedative). Josie comes in and tries to get her to leave. Mari isn't going anywhere. This was her father's house and she has as much right to be there as Josie.

Gerardo brings in a paisano to witness against Javier. Not quite sure what he claims he saw, but it is an obvious set-up.

Josie, Gerardo and Felipe discuss Mariana's invasion of their house. Josie demands he gets his wife out of there. Brendan enters and whisks her off for their daily constitutional. Felipe shakes his head and grabs the whiskey decanter....time to get drunk.

Vicente is putting the cash in a black suitcase. Violeta enters without knocking (again) and Vicente lights into her. Go take care of my girls, they shouldn't be alone. She retorts her son is her responsibility, not the girls, but leaves anyhow.

Pedro and Ruben talk. I think Ruben is now demanding money from Pedro or he'll tell everyone about the 'marques'. Pedro is not amused. He gets with Antonio to complain. Antonio has a solution. He gives him a gun and tells him to take care of his problem.

Vicente brings the suitcase of money to an alley. Ruben is hiding behind a wall. Vic walks away. Ruben comes out from cover to retrieve the suitcase and Vic turns with a gun. Ruben rushes back behind the wall.

The maid brings a tray to Sofia's room. Sofia is lying against the pillows with an empty bottle of some sort of poison next to her limp hand. The maid screams for help.
Fin

I'm hoping it is some sort of drug that makes it seem like she is dead and this is how conde is getting her away from Josie and Felipe ( shades of Vivir when Rebeca and Misael drank that sleeping potion, totally sci fi I know but it is a telenovela so improbable things happen every day). Unfortunately the trailers for tomorrow don't seem to back up that theory.

"CONDE" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION
EPISODE#48:

Kat in SC: Howdy from the Alamo City. Intriguing job with the recap of last night's episode. More problems, more chaos.

As usual, Alejandro's revenge plans are blowing up in his face. I had a hunch something like this was going to happen. I'm NOT confident that Sofia is among the living.

I see that Scumbag Villarreal, Jackass Felipe & Buji Joise are plotting to get rid of Blabbermouth Mariana. What are they concocting ?

More of Dumbass Ricardo & Cayatena nagging about Alejandro/Joaquin: Fast Forward. The sooner these two idiots leave tbe screen, the better.

Slippery Pedro wants Antonio to exterminate Ruben ? Not shocked & since "SED DE VENGANZA" is supposed to be debuting next month, I like to know how "CONDE" will get wrapped up ?

PS: I better NOT see a 2nd Season of "CONDE".

Conde

Kat, thank you so much for that excellent recap of all the evil doings.

Jo is a horrible monster who has no limits. Her cruelty to her granddaughter was terrifying.
Bridegroom Dylan wakes up !!!. Will he want a noche de boda?

I had the same thought that Sofie wasn't dead but rather took some kind of drug that simulated death like Reb and Mis. I thought I saw a very quick scene of Ale standing beside Sofie's bed , or was I dreaming that?

I guess Ale got Ruben out of jail to stir the pot and cause chaos with Pedro and Vicente. I hope Lu doesn't get hurt in the process. Susan

Conde

Yes, Felipe was holding some kind of white cloth when the Dr came . What was that? Susan

"CONDE" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION
Susan: With all due respect, Lucrecita will be COLLATERAL DAMAGE due to the incompetent revenge plans of Alejandro. You better brace for that inevitably because the Body Count will still likely aggressively be increasing.

If Lucrecita gets uppity, I will NOT be shedding any tears or have any sympathy when Slippery Pedro kills his aunt & frames someone else for the murder.

conde

Thanks very much, Kat in SC, for this great recap. I don't have much to add to what you've said. I agree that things are definitely spiraling out of control in this episode. And even El Conde the Magician can't hold back the chaos. (Chaos, of course, for which he is somewhat responsible.)

I'm not sure what the white cloth was that Felipe was holding. I wondered whether he was planning to smother Pau or perhaps make her lose consciousness with something on the cloth.

History repeats itself: Gerardo brings in some poor young paisano whom he has bribed or threatened (or both). The guy claims that he witnessed Javier burning the Gallardos' crops. So now Gerardo thinks he can get Javier sent to prison for many years, just as he did many years earlier to Alejandro.

Ruben is clearly in over his head when he tries to blackmail Pedro and Vicente. I suspect one or the other of his intended victims will do Ruben in, as Antonio recommended to Pedro (even supplying him with a gun).

And wow! I did not expect Sofia would try to kill herself! As you say, it's not yet clear whether she's really dead or perhaps has just taken something that will give the impression that she is (and has a poison label). I assume/hope we'll find out tonight.

Conde

Did anyone else see the quick scene of Ale standing next to Sofia's bed , or was I imagining that . Susan

conde

Susan, I too recall seeing that--it was very brief, and I wasn't sure what to make of it. But you and I didn't hallucinate!

El Conde
Juanita, thanks for clarifying what the paisano claimed to have witnessed. I was lost in that scene. Also, trying to write notes and recap in a 2 hour timeframe last night meant no checking back in the episode.

Conde

Thanks for confirming that scene , Juanita. I don't know what Ale said to Sofia when he was in her bedroom , but I think he gave her those pills that she took and that they somehow made it appear that she was dead. Ale will probably give her safe haven, and hopefully he will get her mother out of that hellhouse, too. Susan

conde

Wow, Susan, I think you're right! I now vaguely remember his giving something small to Sofia. I didn't know what to make of it, and, as you said, it all happened very quickly.

conde

Kat, I'm in awe of your ability to watch the show and take notes at the same time, notes you're able to turn into wonderful recaps very quickly.

"CONDE" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION
Juanita: Why do I get the feeling Ruben will expletive around & find out the deadly hard way soon ? Slick Vic or Slippery Pedro or Antonio will whack him.

On Paulina: She's a goner at this point. Unless Amaranta can come to the rescue.....

Conde

Gracias, Kat. Super storytelling of the action barreling forward at full steam.

How Ale got into Sofia's room I guess we'll never know, but I agree she only "looks" dead and is under a potion he gave her.

Crazy that Josie's new husband and his grandson are not having second thoughts about hooking up with the Zambranos with all the weirdness going on.

Ruben was so stupid not to wait longer before going for the suitcase. I'm torn. I want Ruben to get his just deserts, but I don't want Vic or Pedro to win. So many bad guys that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" doesn't work in this TN.

El Conde
Juanita. Thanks for the compliment. I'm rather proud of my comprehension as I've only been teaching myself Spanish for 18 months or so.

Susan, I'm glad you saw conde give Sophia something. That makes me feel better about her plight.

Niecie, as to Ale getting into Sofies room, do you remember the 2 times Javier managed to appear at her window. Not sure how he managed that if she is on the upper floor. I was surprised he didn't try to meet her the same way in this episode. Conde probably paid someone off or has a skeleton key. Those weren't super sophisticated locks on the bedroom door.

conde

Just a reminder to all. The word that we chose for blogger as a key to people being able to read these recaps long after the show is over is conde. Not sure if it matters whether lower or upper case, but I always go with all lower case.

Thanks so much, Kat. I second Juanita's praise of your Spanish skills with such a relatively short time learning them. I enjoyed "all the moving pieces in his chess game".

Ruben seems to have a death wish. Ale sort of explained why he got Ruben out of prison. I can't quote it exactly, but I think he said he was giving him a second chance. Ruben was the second witness at Ale's fake trial. As I recall he looked miserable and guilty in contrast to Vicente, who seemed quite content lying about Alejandro Gaitán NOT having been with him when the shots were fired that killed the Aguilars.

Kat it was Dylan Harrison who came in wondering about all the noise from the Zambranos.

Well, they surprised me. Sofia really did miscarry because of the green goo she ingested, At least these writers didn't go with 3 more episodes until she figured out it was her grandmother who did it.

I'm thinking the bottle of poison is a setup to send Josie round the bend. I'm dubious about the "looking dead" Juliet theory. It makes more sense to me that what Ale gave her made her unconscious and Josie will have to take her to a hospital or lose the second Harrison marriage she's been angling for.

conde

Novelera, yes, Ruben looked unhappy when he testified against Ale,, unlike Vic .

That was such an odd scene of Ale standing next to Sofie's bed . I wondered if something had been cut .
Susan
