Part 1 of 3
Aquiles and Angel talked about Jezabel then Angel told Aquiles something about Las Flores.
JC and Aurora walked in on Luis and Jezabel kissing.
Antonio told Demon that Fabrizio loved him more than anyone else in the world. Demon began telling Antonio that Helena was traumatized by the attack in the barrio. [With all those witnesses why was there no arrest for attempted murder?]
JC scolded Jezabel for this and Luis tried to defend it with the usual arguments. Jezabel did not accept JC's reasons. Aurora told JC they should back off because Jezabel would not listen to them.
Demon really laid it on thick about Helena being in danger [It looked like he was succeeding].
Rolando came to get Anita, leaving Helena and Angel alone. He was a bit rattled and kept washing the same dish as they talked about each spending the weekend with someone else. Rolando asked Vicki if he could come along; that was alright with her. Anita asked why people who love each other are not together. She left the house. Helena explained to Angel that Demon is going to pour Fabrizio's ashes into the sea. Angel took her hand and she took it back, reminding him that he had ended their relationship. He tried to explain but she moved away from him asking why he would take Briana on this trip.
Demon negotiated a share of Antonio's company [This is not good].
Helena asked Angel why with Briana? He asked the same question about Demon. She said he needed help because of his grief. He closed in for a kiss, but then backed off.
Jezabel kissed Luis and walked out of er office but eavesdropped on the argument. She was obviously amused.
Rolando told Maggie about the trip. She told him he has to behave himself. He is hoping for a reunion between his parents while he's away.
Helena left the Santos house. Pascual came home and stopped Angel from following Helena. He then said they needed to get up early for the trip.
The Next Morning
Los Santos were on a bus to the beach. Briana was sitting next to Angel. Her hair was different [and not for the better].
Antonio went to the Santos house to talk to Pascual. Palmiro told him they were en route to Acapulco.
Aurora considered it suspicious that Jezabel had gotten involved with Luis now that she was engaged to JC.

Helena was preparing to leave when a note fell on the carpeted floor.
JC and Luis argued about Jezabel yet again. JC told him that he was to study abroad, but Luis refused to as he was out the door.
Demon picked Helena up; she missed the note.
Edgar entered Jezabel's office. She resisted his advances at first. He told her he knew where Pintas lived, mentioned his … shall we say his superior sexual talent, and she looked more receptive.
Later Patricia came into Jezabel's office crying about Fabrizio. Jezabel then confided that Antonio had received anonymous notes saying that Gabriel was alive. Patricia flashed back to seeing the first one and confirmed it. Jezabel said something about how Aurora must feel.
Aurora suggested to JC that they get married now.
Helena and Demon checked into the hotel. She thought back to Angel... who then entered with his family and Briana. Demon was enjoying this.
Antonio found the note, which was a baby photo of Gabriel. The maid had found it in Helena's room.
Anita and Rolando ran up to Helena. Demon told her that this was Angel's plan, but Helena knew her stepsister all too well.
Antonio called Helena who did not answer so he called Demon who handed the phone to her. This was a very short call.
JC and Aurora went to the magistrate.
Angel was uncomfortable with Briana paying the bill. Antonio called Briana who also cut the call short and returned to the check-in desk.
Jezabel looked at Patricia's videos, telling herself she was protecting her son. She then sent them to him. He was shocked.
Antonio packed suitcases, determined to go to Acapulco.
Aurora and JC signed the papers and the magistrate declared them husband and wife. They kissed.
Demon told Helena about the videos and she assumed that this was meant as a guilt trip. She told him that this was not his fault.

I am getting confused and have some questions . Where did Helena gets photo of baby Gabriel? Do Brianna and Edgar have the same father?
I still don't get why Aquiles swiched Jezebel's music box for the duplicate .
I hope Mario morro is redeemed , but I am afraid he might gain that redemption protecting Rolando from despicable Pintas. Susan

Thanks so much Urban. Great recaps. I watched last weeks and then todays and read all recaps. I am shocked that Aurora and JC got married. Since Antonio is the end game I wonder if something will happen to JC.
Jezabel is beyond cruel. Sending the video to Damon was beyond cruel. And that smirk when she gets caught with Luis.
Demon did look like he convinced Antonio that Helena needed to marry him. It seems he once felt it was up to her.
Susan, I wonder about the picture and the music box too.

Yes, Susan, Briana and Edgar are both children of Patricia's abusive ex. He was most likely her pimp back in the day. Briana doesn't know this and I doubt Edgar does although he knows that his egg donor makes her living on her back. At least now she's a madame, since she has an office.
I just rewatched Ep 11, which contained many interesting details:
Although he wasn't in the episode, Fabrizio was still living in the Campero mansion. In the mourning scene Jezabel was referring to him as useless so we can assume he was out the door within the next year.
Jezabel neglected her little Demon back in the day and Aurora stepped in, which Jezabel resented. He had no reason to think she ever loved him except for the usual belief that mothers love their children. However, Jezabel is a malignant narcissist and therefore incapable of love. Miguel was not a good person or father and he did not tell Jezabel whom he handed Gabriel to. She did not overhear anything relevant in Episode 11 when Pascual tried to return Gabriel to Aurora. She has not been in any scenes with Pascual since. Miguel sent Jezabel upstairs to check up on Aurora who was drugged into sleep. This was when Jezabel stole the forensic medical results about Aurora having been raped. It was needed later when Aurora reported the rape but was not found.
Five years later after his health got much worse Miguel was in a wheelchair. He overheard Jezabel arguing with Juventino in the library and found out that Jezabel hired him to rape Aurora. He got the door open and went into the library. Juventino ran for it as Miguel got up halfway to lunge at Jezabel, clearly outraged at this. She lashed out at him with accusations of favoritism and blamed him for all this. He died on the library floor as Aurora returned from church.
The music box was seen in this episode, but as for the duplicate? I have no explanation other than the possibility that it was meant to be something affordable to a lower company employee and therefore "common" in the eyes of a snob like Jezabel.
The photo looks like something that Jezabel could have stolen from Aurora's room and used it to torture her. Miguel said at one point that Gabriel was dead. I strongly doubt he ever told Jezabel otherwise or she would have been obsessed with finding him and making this a truth.

Angel/Aurora. Another great recap, Urban! Antonio now has a lot of clues to find out what happened to Gabriel., including a photo that hasn't been tampered with. What will delay the revelations (for a long time)? Jezabel's manipulations? Whoa! Everyone at the same hotel! What could possibly go wrong? Antonio doesn't deserve to be the end game for Aurora. Btw, it looks as if Luis is back in school--or at least preparing to be. And some lovely shots of Acapulco.

Luis needs a shrink ASAP. He is so emotionally immature which is going to give JC major angst and even more grief to Aurora. His involvement with Jezabel is not going to end well, as we have already seen with two previous victims of hers.

Pina was sure that Patricia's knowing about the blood tie would benefit herself. Patricia then asked her how she would feel if Demon and Jezabel knew she was Edgar's mother. Pina (or Teté) laughed, knowing that they already knew that. However, Patricia wanted a favor from her: To ruin an unidentified man.
Possibly deleted from the broadcast: Cassandra, Aquiles, and Esperanza talked about Cassandra searching Jezabel's office.
Mario was in Maggie's place when Pintas barged in with a threatening air about him.
JC and Aurora came back. Jezabel made a remark about them sleeping together to alleviate their traumas. Neither took the bait. They shocked Jezabel with their news. There was a milisecond of disappointment on Jezabel's face.
Antonio saw Briana and asked her where Helena was. She was with Demon who told her that Fabrizio was the only person who had been honest with him. After a few sentences expressing what seemed to be genuine grief he dropped a ball-shaped container off the bow of the boat, then they went back to the stern. Helena told him he was strong and everyone felt protected by him. [Recapper is rolling eyes at this]. He said he would protect her if she allowed him to.
The Santos family looked out over the ocean. Vicki told Angel she had to tell him something important, adding that she hoped he would forgive her. Pascual looked nervous.
Pintas went after Mario with a fake olive branch – which Mario was smart enough to detect – and another crooked scheme in mind. Mario looked like he was tempted.
Briana wanted to know what was up that Antonio came to Acapulco to find Helena.
Aurora came down in jeans. She and JC were preparing to go to Xochimilco. Jezabel laughed at this, asking why they don't go to Greece instead and saying that their taste was strange. She then realized that Antonio did not know about the marriage.
Pintas talked to Huevo and Vampi, saying they were not to leak info to Angel. He seems to be planning to frame Angel for a crime as in “Ese pobre diablo ya es carne del presidio.”
Demon said he felt at peace on the way back. He wanted to stay a bit longer. Food and drink awaited them at the stern, complete with fine china, gold utensils, and crystal champagne flutes.
Jezabel said she was only joking about Antonio. JC changed into casual clothes and came back down to get Aurora. Jezabel told him to control Aurora because she can be insolent; he told her that was not necessary. Jezabel said something to the effect of “ You never know when you're going to screw up.” As they headed for the door she asked them for a decision on where they were going to live. “You're always welcome here... and your son, too.” Aurora could not get out fast enough.
Vicki told Angel how much she loved him. He told her she was the best mother he could have had. She was so happy she cried, saying that God and St Jude put him in her arms. Saying that her continued life was another miracle [as we all worry about whether she will live much longer].

Helena thought of Angel; she still thought that Antonio had something to do with the breakup. Demon and questioned whether Angel chose to end their relationship or whether it was negotiated. She asked how this was possible and he pointed out the money that bought the medical treatments and this vacation. She asked him about the loan.
Briana approached the Santos family on the beach, addressing them as “Family.” [How presumptuous]. Anita showed her a shell and said it was for Helena.
Aurora and JC were out with a picnic basket as they approached the gondola boats with names on them. She talked about liking this area because it was so full of life. He bought her a huge bouquet of flowers.
Luis was at the Campero mansion where he was trying to get jiggy with Jezabel. She was – or pretended to be – not in the mood, telling him she felt alone. When she told him about the wedding he was anything but happy, assuming that he wanted to get rid of him to make way for his new wife. Jezabel said she would not want him to leave. He was not wanting to believe his father would do this to him. Jezabel said “It wasn't just your father; it's also Aurora.” He del=clared that would not happen and he would separate them first.
Aurora and JC relaxed, had some red wine, and returned to her family home. There were some suitcases near the foot of the stairs. Luis greeted them, pretending to be happy at their marriage. Jezabel told them that Luis had moved in.
Antonio and Helena finally met. He told her he had something important to talk to her about. She walked away from Demon to talk with him. They went up to his room.
Luis was offended that he was not invited to the wedding. He was presumptuous in thinking that they would not be living there and Aurora said that their civil ceremony was a sudden decision. There had not been time to plan the rest yet. JC had been sure that Luis would have a student roommate. Jezabel pretended to agree, but said that Luis was a bit stubborn. JC said he was to return with him to his house. Luis accused Aurora of manipulating his father into controlling himself and his father. Aurora denied this, saying that he was putting JC between a rock and a wall. Vicki demanded that Demon tell her why he got Angel out of jail. :What deal did you two make?”
Aurora reminded Luis that JC cared for him while he was in the coma. “He felt guilty that whole tome. Does that mean nothing to you?” and “All you've done since waking up is fight with him.” Jezabel accused her of concealing a secret wedding and acting as though she were Luis' mother, saying this was not good. JC told Jezabel not to interfere with this. The only wrong in this was the relationship between her and Luis. She then asked what he wanted to do with his life, if he moved in to carry on with Jezabel, who was much older than he. “Is this your idea of freedom?” Jezabel took this as an insult. Aurora was obviously fed up. Luis told JC he was to say nothing. JC said he wasn't saying anything he could not understand or learn. Aurora pointed out Luis' suitcases and he took them Jezabel followed him. JC and Aurora looked at each other.

Helena thought of Angel; she still thought that Antonio had something to do with the breakup. Demon and questioned whether Angel chose to end their relationship or whether it was negotiated. She asked how this was possible and he pointed out the money that bought the medical treatments and this vacation. She asked him about the loan.
Briana approached the Santos family on the beach, addressing them as “Family.” [How presumptuous]. Anita showed her a shell and said it was for Helena.
Aurora and JC were out with a picnic basket as they approached the gondola boats with names on them. She talked about liking this area because it was so full of life. He bought her a huge bouquet of flowers.
Luis was at the Campero mansion where he was trying to get jiggy with Jezabel. She was – or pretended to be – not in the mood, telling him she felt alone. When she told him about the wedding he was anything but happy, assuming that he wanted to get rid of him to make way for his new wife. Jezabel said she would not want him to leave. He was not wanting to believe his father would do this to him. Jezabel said “It wasn't just your father; it's also Aurora.” He del=clared that would not happen and he would separate them first.
Aurora and JC relaxed, had some red wine, and returned to her family home. There were some suitcases near the foot of the stairs. Luis greeted them, pretending to be happy at their marriage. Jezabel told them that Luis had moved in.
Antonio and Helena finally met. He told her he had something important to talk to her about. She walked away from Demon to talk with him. They went up to his room.
Luis was offended that he was not invited to the wedding. He was presumptuous in thinking that they would not be living there and Aurora said that their civil ceremony was a sudden decision. There had not been time to plan the rest yet. JC had been sure that Luis would have a student roommate. Jezabel pretended to agree, but said that Luis was a bit stubborn. JC said he was to return with him to his house. Luis accused Aurora of manipulating his father into controlling himself and his father. Aurora denied this, saying that he was putting JC between a rock and a wall. Demon started to say it was a business deal. Angel tried to stop this but Demon insisted upon talking to Vicki. They walked off before this became an embarrassing scene.
Aurora told Jezabel they had to talk.
Antonio showed the photo to Helena who ID'd it as Angel. Vicki had given it to her. Antonio did not believe it at first. When Helena finished talking he realized that Angel was Gabriel. [Antonio, you need to get a DNA specimen NOW for a test and don't tell Jezabel a thing].
Demon gave Vicki some BS about his family's generosity although he credited Aurora first.. Vicki pointed out the coincidence of the medical payments with the end of Helena's and Angel's relationship. Demon aid he and Helena had only been having a rough patch. He also talked about his father's depression and that his mother was “very hard”. Vicki ended up feeling suspicious.
Antonio apologized for his past errors and finally told Helena he had to find Pascual. She still questioned his assertions that he had not interfered in her relationship with Angel.
Jezabel denied inviting Luis to move in, saying he came over unexpectedly when she was getting ready to go upstairs to bed. She reminded Aurora that she got married behind everyone's back. She said she was glad about her marriage and “putting past traumas behind you” and that now was her turn. Aurora said “And you think that is getting involved with my husband's son?” Jezabel went into an evu tone about her getting it on with younger men and the high she got from it. She realized that Jezabel really wanted her life to continue in tragedy. Jezabel said that if that were the case she would have succeeded. [Response to that lost to an ad].
Helena could not believe her father came to ruin Pascual's weekend. He told her he had no intention of doing that and would go home in the morning. He returned the photo to her and asked her about the ashes. She confirmed the reason for her presence. She also said she was continuing the relationship with Demon.
Aurora and Jezabel were at it again over the maternal feelings issue. Aurora told her she didn't care about her opinions. She would find her son and tell him how she always loved him as she looked for him. Jezabel tried telling her once again that her son was dead but Aurora would not give her the satisfaction of seeing her cry. She did that alone in the next room behind a closed door.

Angel/Aurora. Another excellent recap, Urban! You saw several things I missed. (Though in fairness, I have a cat who continually wants out, then in, particularly during telenovelas). Too bad it's too soon for Jezabel to get hers! And I wonder what her nefarious plan is now. I'm so glad Helena didn't swallow the ring! (literally). Antonio now knows that Angel is Gabriel. Presumably he will conceal this information. Why? (Coma, anyone?).

Thanks Urban, another great recap. I’m glad Vicki is getting suspicious. I wish she’d share her thoughts with Helena. I can’t believe Antonio had discovered the truth and we’re not half way through. He has to keep it quiet, or will the second half be filled with attempts on Angel’s life. I don’t like the way Briana pushes herself on Angel and his family. I love how Anita treats her, making her preference for Helena well known. It was pretty bad of Antonio to want to question Pascual while on a family vacation with his dying wife. I like JC better right now!

Jezabel seriously likes to drive people mad so they commit suicide. She gets off on their suffering. We can't be sure when she did this the first time, but it is likely that Carlitos was not the first victim. She will try this with Aurora and JC, although I don't see her succeeding in the end.
She could also try driving Luis to kill JC.
Antonio should not end up in a coma but he should proceed with caution. He does need to confirm that Angel is Gabriel and the paternity issue. If he is Angel's sperm donor he will also need a DNA test with Helena.
