FUGITIVAS #53 Part 1

After wrestling with his demons and feelings of betrayal, Dario has finally decided he will not report the Fugitivas to the police. His stance and his hard heart have not softened though; they have two days to move out.

The Fugitivas plan to go first to Guatemala and then, to their final destination – Brazil.

Lorena fills Alejandro in; she will be waiting for him in Guatemala. He tells her to be very careful and she kisses him passionately.

Amanda has a new target: one of the fugitivas, the pregnant Natalia.

Vincente is with Gabriela at breakfast as Charo hovers. He kisses her as Charo solicitously asks if she wants to sit in her bedroom and watch TV?

Matias enters dour Dario’s bedroom. He asks him how he is…One look is all it takes to see his foul mood. Matias tries to tell him the girls are good but Dario has nothing for scorn but everyone, including him and his grandmother. Matias glares.

Nico sits down at Amanda’s desk, clearly irritated. She asks him why and I couldn’t understand his reply but she fights back verbally defending Ismael and Nico leaves, even angrier.

Teo and the rest of the boys enter Vincente’s class. He asks Teo if he is happy and Teo points to his nose which I believe means yes.

Montse paces to the irritation of Lisset. She frets and the other two try to calm her down. Frida tells Montse that Dario is the love of her life. Lorena tells the girls they are her family. They wish her much happiness with Alejandro. Group hug.

Alejandro goes to Ivan Castro’s office and announces himself to Ivan’s assistant. She calls him and he makes an excuse but Alejandro barges into his office anyway. Annoyed, Ivan will allow him 5 minutes only. They discuss Lorena and then Alejandro shows him a picture of Ivan with Juan Pablo! Ivan admits he was a friend. Oh, Vincente is there too. “Curious” Alejandro says. The silver haired fox with a slick tongue tries to explain it away. However, as Alejandro shuts the door on his way out for once, there is no smarmy smile on Ivan’s face.

Dario momentarily enters the kitchen as Marta and the women immediately tense up. He stares stonily at each of them and has a particularly livid look for Frida.

Arturo is trying to make polite conversation, asking Vincente about the foundation. In the middle of the conversation, Florencia sashays in wearing a purple leather dress.

Dario is in a warehouse with a sea of cases of Coca-Cola.

FUGITIVAS #53 Part 2

Arturo is actually smiling when Florencia interrupts the conversation. Vincente decides this is the perfect time to announce that Florencia is having an affair with Nico; a friend of Ismael, her not quite ex.

Charo looks on, mouth slightly agape as Arturo roars at Florencia, demanding to know if it is true or not? He wants to grill her further and Vincente takes advantage by leading Gabriela away. Arturo rages Nico is Ismael’s friend and forbids her from seeing him. She stares at him stonily.

Marta is making calls (not sure to whom) when Alejandro calls Lorena. He sends her the picture of Juan Pablo and Ivan, with Vincente in the background.

All of a sudden, an emotional Frida, tears streaming down her face, faints dead away!

On their ride home in a taxi, Vincente and Gabriela discuss Florencia’s affair…She is my sister he says…then asks Gabriela to forgive him.

Lorena runs in, answering Marta’s screams. Lorena picks up the phone and calls an ambulance.

Dario is in his car, remembering kissing Frida and then recalling the scene where she came clean they are all fugitivas.

Charo questions Florencia. I believe she says Vincente misinterpreted her kiss with Nico. Charo, to no one’s surprise, is there for Florencia.

Ivan calls Arturo and Lisset listens outside the door.

The ambulance comes and spirits Frida away. Marta elects to ride in the ambulance with her. Watching them leave, Montse and Lorena are very upset.

A very pregnant Natalia goes to the hospital desk in tears. She strokes her stomach, very upset.

Frida is wheeled down the hall on a gurney when she wakes up and starts to panic and cry. Marta tries to calm her.

The doctor tells Natalia the baby is all right.

Vincente wants Gabriela to rest. It only takes a minute for her to put her head on the pillow and sleep.

Nico calls Florencia, beyotching why she didn’t call him. She tells him Vincente told her father he saw them. The possibility of a scandal made her father furious. Nico is NOT happy.

Marta asks how her “sobrina” is. She is undergoing tests.

FUGITIVAS #53 Part 3 of 3

Dario comes in and starts in on Lorena; she tries to explain about Juan Pablo’s murder and swears her innocence.

Montse comes up but stops short when she sees Dario.

“Mi amor” obnoxious Vero effuses when Nico walks in. She runs up, throws her arms around his neck, kissing him. “Control yourself” he says eyes darkening, pushing her away.

Nico walks into the lion’s den aka Arturo’s office. Ahh, shockingly though Arturo acts more like a lamb. Smiling with not one raised syllable, he murmurs that “my daughter” is hermosa, intelligent he begins. Simpatico Nico adds to the list. Nico quickly realizes Arturo is very much aware of what happened between him and Florencia. The gist of their conversation seems to be that Arturo tells Nico he is intelligent but this is not the time for any scandal. He asks Nico about Vero and Nico scoffs. At the end, Nico seems to reluctantly agree and the men shake hands. After Nico leaves, Arturo calls him an idiot. Nico runs into Flor walking down the hall and I think both agree they don’t want problems.

Two nurses talk about one of the patients; I believe one thinks she looks familiar.

Montse and Lorena receive word from Marta that Frida is stable however neither utter a word to Dario about Frida.

A nurse asks Marta to come with her to see Frida.

In the last scene of the evening, as Amanda enters Ismael’s office, he gets a call. One of the fugitivas is in the hospital! They rush out…

Another extremely difficult night of dialogue. I really wasn’t clear as to what was said during the Arturo/Nico/Florencia conversations so I tried to keep comments vague and minimal. Kindly fill in what I missed or what I got wrong.

There was not much new info tonight but lot of rehashing of what we already know.

Darío tells Matías that the girls will be leaving in two days. Matías is disappointed and still cannot get it through his thick skull that they are FUGITIVAS on the run and so they are acting ILLEGALLY and that helping them is also ILLEGAL.

Alejandro visits Iván to find out about where Aldo the thug is but Iván has no info about him. When Alejandro expresses his disbelief, Iván says that it is the same situation that Alejandro has not knowing where Lorena is. Neither Aldo or Lorena are their clients anymore. Iván also tells Alejdandro that everyone knows that Lorena killed JP.

Nico is complaining AGAIN to Amanda that she didn't include him ONE MORE TIME when she was working along side Ismael. She isn't working alone anymore. They have a DEAL. He warns her again that if she cuts him out one more time, everyone will know she was the leak and that will put her job in jeopardy.

After the blowup with Flo when Vicente told their father about her kiss with Nico, Vicente decides that Gabriela can convalesce just fine at their apartment.

Marta and the girls are calling unemployed women to see if they want a job at the bar. They are trying to help staff the bar so they do not have to close it for a few days to re-staff it after the girls leave.

Alejandro shows Lorena the photo with Iván, JP and Vicente in the background. She sees no problem with the photo. Alejandro thinks there is a clue of some sort in it.

Lorena tells Alejandro he can stop trying to prove her innocence. They can have a good life together in Guatemala. He agrees but for now something is telling him he has to continue the investigation. She loves him and will be waiting for him in Guatemala.

Lorena tells her whole story to Darío. He would like to believe her but at this time, he cannot distinguish what is true or a lie.

We still do not know Frida's diagnosis.

Jarifa, thank you for your always astute and immensely helpful insights.

"Iván also tells Alejdandro that everyone knows that Lorena killed JP". As Aerosmith (who I saw decades ago at a concert at my college for $1) famously sings, "Same old song and dance". Basta!

Is Nico so stupid that he doesn't realize it is Patricio and Ismael who make the call as to who is involved in the cases? Go ahead Nico, spill the secret. We know it's coming out eventually!

Thank you for explaining Marta was trying to recruit staff for the bar.

Ale is likely right that the picture of JP and Ivan means something but what? Is Vincente being in it a red herring or part of the mystery?

Frida and her mystery disease is so frustrating. Perhaps we'll get a clue tomorrow?

I can't understand why Florencia is still involved with Nico.At first it seemed she wanted to get back at Ismael for not paying enough attention to her, but now it's all over, what's the point of this affair? She isn't interested in him and doesn't even respect him. He's more trouble than he's worth at this point.

I'm back! I officially caught up with the 4 TNs I'm watching 30 minutes into this episode, which is just perfect. I can FF through the commercials for the following 3 hours of viewing and knock it down to a bit more than 2 hours of my time.

Diana, I read your recap almost as soon as you post them and think I can clarify this or that scene for her, but I know Jarifa will get it better than I do I wait till both "recaps" are up.

If I recall correctly, Vincente returned from living in another country the night of the murder. ( Forgive me if I get some things wrong, Juana has a murder mystery of sorts also in the first episodes so I may get them confused). I don't see any significance to his being in the photo. Unless Arturo is claiming it was a photo taken at a different time than the murder mystery frame Lorena party. Vicente's presence confirms the timeframe.

Waterlily, I agree about Flo and Nic. Arturo advising Nick to wait a few years to make public his relationship!

Frida's mystery ailment is going the way of the mystery business from "Receta". That was never disclosed....
 

Juana #47 part 1 of 3

Gabriel accuses Paula of trying to get rid of Juana and she denies it. Amparo is trying to break up the argument. Paula says she had nothing to do with those men. Gabriel wonders how she knew it was men. A cameraman is filming and Amparo tells him that doesn’t leave here

Dani brings David home and wants to cook for him. He wants a drink. Dani turns and sees him with no shirt on but his medical gear in place. Oops, just her imagination

Gabriel tells Amparo to leave them alone. Paula says she has always loved him. She asks about the baby. Is the baby ok. He calls her a hypocrite who never loved him. He’ s the love of her life. He says Juana is the love of his love and they’re better than ever and will be together forever.

The cameraman and all the people are watching the film. Amparo comes in telling them to not watch. Luciano introduces himself to Amparo. He announces he’s Paula’s lover just as Gabriel comes in. He tells the cameraman to film this and punches Luciana, not because he’s Paula’s lover but because he’s a coward. Amparo feels that’s proof Gabriel is violent.

Camacho asks Rogelio how it went with Elvira. Between her and the body at the hacienda Gabriel won’t know what hit him.

Elvira is talking to Salvador’s boss, who is Rubio’s friend/partner. She had asked to speak to the detective but was sent to him. He says he’s taken a personal interest in the case. Elvira thinks Francisco is dead. After saying he can’t name any suspects he says he thinks it was Gabriel. He mentions the shares and the romance with Camila. She wants the Rubio land searched. She thinks Gabriel put her son’s body there.

Camila asks how Juana and the baby are. He looks hard at her face. He asks if Paula would be capable of planning something like this. She says she’d like to say no but says yes.

Amparo tells Paula Gabriel doesn’t love her and that Paula is obsessed with him. She says hundreds of men desire her. The head of the shoot comes in. She hasn’t completed her contract and will have to pay. She says sure, calls him an idiot and slams the door

Salvador is at the brewery. Gabriel tells him his suspicions, that one of his employees overheard Paula talking about it. They still need proof. Salvador is pleased Gabriel has a guard and will be moving her to the hacienda.

Juana is looking at the ultrasound when Josefina comes in. She loves seeing Juana so content. Juana is content because she has a wonderful grandmother.
Now that she’s going to be a mother she realizes all Josefina does for them.

Dani and David toast. He’s celebrating because he knows he and Juana will always only be friends. When you accept the reality you can move on with your life. Dani gets up and says she’s accepting her reality. She leaves and David looks confused.

Juana #47 part 2

Rogelio is talking with his buddy in the police force. He’ll send Detective Castillo to the Rubio land. They’re pleased with Elvira’s reaction. Paula and Amparo come in arguing. Amparo says it’s just something between the two of them.

Salvador tells Gabriel his intuition tells him there are powerful people behind the disappearance of Francisco. He thinks Gabriel should get Juana out of the country for a while

Josefina tells Juana it’s her fault Felipe has this hate for her father, and Gabriel too. If he can’t get rid of his anger and rancor he’ll never be able to work it out with Enriqueta. She liked seeing him happy.

Felipe tells Chismi that he’ll be sleeping at the garage since Josefina let Ramon move in. When Chimis says “your jefe” Felipe says he’s not his jefe just a stranger. Chimis seems to say you’ll open the garage early and stay late. Felipe tells him to change the oil on that car.

Salvador tells Gabriel these powerful people are interested in him for love, power or money. H Salvador gets a call from Pacheco. He has to go, but tells him to take his advice and leave the country.

Camila tells her mother Juana and her baby have the lives of a cat. Her mother doesn’t know them. Camila says they’re insignificant. The doorbell rings Reny came to see her mom and also to tell her the police have Nahuel and his gang.

Pacheco tells Salvador they have 5 guys in custody. He shows him the bracelet and Salvador finds a picture on the computer of Paula wearing it. He sees the five in a kind of lineup. All have a criminal history. He interviews Nahuel who says he’s made mistakes in the past, just like everyone. Salvador asks him who paid him to go after Juana Bravo. He plays dumb

Felipe comes to see Juana. They talk cars for a minute then Felipe says that not why you want to see me. Juana wants him to return to the house. He doesn’t want to. She asks about Enriqueta. She doesn’t want to be always about her problems. Just then Enriqueta knocks on the door. She came to see Juana. Meanwhile Juana is telling Felipe he doesn’t want to talk about anyone but they all are moving on with their lives. A knock at the bedroom door and Josefina says Enriqueta came to see Juana. Felipe gets up and turns his back.

Salvador asks Pachecoto bring Nahuel back to him, see if we can make him sing.

Amparo is on the phone with Paula telling her to contact her dad, he can help you. Paula hangs up and says if she’s going to sink Camila will too.

Juana #47 part 3

Enriqueta is asking about how Juana is Juana is glad to see her. Felipe says he’s going. Enriqueta says if you’re uncomfortable I’ll go. Juana says they’re all adults and can be cordial but Felipe leaves. He sees Ramon who asks him to have a coffee together, they don’t have to talk, he doesn’t want to bother him or ask his forgiveness, just have a coffee together. Felipe sits, takes a sip then gets up and leaves.

Rogelio tells Manuel to be prepared, they’ll soon be assuming control of the brewery. Manuel asks how. Rogelio says Gabriel will go to prison, Camila will take over his office and it will be them and Camila. When Manuel questions this, Rogelio says hypothetically. Manuel wonders if hypothetically if Gabriel left Paula would Paula get the shares.

Not sure what Fabio and Ricardo were talking about but Fabio gets fired. Jenny tells him not to worry and follows Ricardo to the freezer door. As he speaks she tells him she likes him when he’s forceful. As he moves closer she knees him and leaves. When he comes out to the restaurant Salvador is there with a clipboard telling him he has serious problems with the law. He has to treat his employees better or they’ll shut him down. Jenny thanks him, wants him to stay but he says another day. Fabio thinks he’s like a detective in a novel.

Rogelio wonders why Amparo is so nervous. She tells him what Paula did. Rogelio wonders how she could let their daughter do this. Does he not know how his own daughter is. Amparo begs him to help. He asks who she hired. Amparo doesn’t know, she just knows she asked Camila for help in getting them. Amparo tells him Gabriel suspects her, he called her an assassin at her photo shoot. Rogelio says Paula needs to move back home.

Enriqueta talks to Ramon and Josefina when she leaves. She loves Felipe but he has a big problem, his father. If he doesn’t get rid of his hate and anger he’ll never be happy. As she leaves Salvador comes in to show Juana some pictures. She picks one guy out. Salvador tells her he had Paula’s bracelet in his possession.

Good afternoon waterlily!

It's hard to know what or who motivates Florencia. Was she with Juan Pablo for the thrill of having an affair? Lorena hadn't really entered the picture when it began (correct me if I'm wrong) so it may have been simply to get Ismael's attention who wan't at her every beck and call.

Her being with Nico seemed to be revenge for Ismael's affair with Lorena. "He's more trouble than he's worth at this point" is exactly right! Cheating seems to be in her DNA. I think she wants to end their affair but he's stuck on her and she is going to have a hell of a time breaking up with him.

FUGITIVAS #54 Part 1

As Amanda natters on to Ismael about Lorena, he receives a call…One of the fugitivas is in the hospital! He and Amanda rush out…

Marta is at teary eyed Frida’s bedside. The doctor comes over and is just about to spill but just as Marta asks him what the diagnosis is (which we’ve all been wondering), Frida asks her to leave so she can be alone with the doctor. (Rats; foiled again!) I believe he says that Frida must receive treatment or she will not make it. But if he said what the diagnosis is, it escaped me. He leaves and Frida sighs.

Vero (wearing what looks like a short white tennis outfit) goes into Florencia’s office and sits down. She sighs but Florencia totally ignores her. Seeing Florencia doesn’t even bat an eyelash, Vero sighs even louder saying FLORENCIA. She complains about Nico and finally wears Florencia down, talking her into going out.

Lorena and Montse tell Lisset about Frida; is she very ill Lisset asks worriedly? Yes says Montse, saying she is in the hospital.

Meanwhile, said Frida is getting some kind of IV treatment that the nurse says is important.

Vincente and Gabriela talk on the non-progress of her case and the car that hit her. He tells her about the woman who called him and told him of her accident.

Lisset spills what she has seen and heard at the Marquez’ mansion.

Frida looks up at the IV, unhooks her pulse monitor and digs the IV needle out of her arm. She unhooks the heart monitor and puts her legs over the side of the bed. She grabs her pants and holds onto the chair for support as she puts them on. Marta waylays the doctor, asking questions. I don’t think he tells her anything…

Uh oh…Ismael and Amanda arrive at the hospital front desk. Natalia sees them and scurries away. They race down the hall…

Marta walks in and sees Frida fully dressed. Frida lies and just then Natalia comes in the room and closes the curtains. Marta recognizes her right away

Looks like Nico has been left behind at the station (once again) much to his consternation.

The three fugitivas scurry out of the cubicle.

FUGITIVAS #54 Part 2

Patricio has a flat tire when Alejandro drives up on his cycle. Problems he asks (answer obvious). Patricio gets a spare tire out of the trunk and Alejandro pulls over to help.

Amanda and Ismael search the cubicles pulling curtains back one by one but the women have flown the coop. Amanda calls for back up but the three women are already outside, crossing the street. Natalia and the girls commandeer a taxi and drive off just in time. The police back up arrive shaking their heads no, they found no one!

Arturo visits Florencia to give her a tongue lashing about Nico. She tries to interrupt but he stops her. Needless to say, she has not been discreet. Flor looks a bit concerned.

Montse is riddled with worry as Lorena and Lisset try to comfort her. All of a sudden, Frida walks in followed by Natalia and Marta. It’s like old home week! They guide Natalia to the bed and have her sit. Marta had asked Natalia where she was living, which was in an abandoned house and oh yes, her baby is due in two weeks. Natalia fills the women in on the police coming to the hospital. Lisset (and we) worry what Dario’s reaction will be when he sees Natalia.

Ismael, Amanda and Patricio talk about how Natalia eluded them. They are going to circulate her picture and formulate a plan to capture her. Patricio asks to help but no Amanda will handle it on her own. Nico confronts Amanda, angry about not going with them. Amanda holds her ground…

Vero and Florencia are in a restaurant when who shows up but Ismael and Amanda!! He introduces her to Florencia who has an angry, sour look on her face. Vero of course is all smiles. I think Vero might have told Florencia that Amanda prefers women but Florencia says it’s not true (?)

Natalia doesn’t want to cause any problems when Dario walks in…Natalia is very friendly putting her head on Dario’s chest saying she knows Marta from the joint (she didn’t really say that 😊)

There are several scenes of Ismael and Amanda enjoying wine and pizza in full view of Florencia and Vero. Amanda actually is smiling as they indulge in small talk. (I’ve had a feeling for a while that they might end up together but dismissed it; now I’m wondering if I was onto something). Amanda shows him pictures on her phone ass the other two crane their necks. Later, Florencia confronts Ismael when he steps away to take a call. She berates him and he goes back at her as she throws Lorena in his face and he throws Juan Pablo in hers. Vero then starts screaming at Amanda for going after Nico as Amanda says they are only colleagues. Vero throws wine on Amanda as Ismael comes over to diffuse the situation. Amanda tries to clean herself up and they pay the bill and leave, Vero screaming insults at them as they leave.

Marta pleads Natalia’s case to Dario; she is pregnant after all. She says she ran into her at the hospital with Frida. He stares alarmed as she explains. Meanwhile, Natalia thanks them but starts to leave so as not to be a burden. All of a sudden, she starts having labor pains. Lisset runs to get Marta. Dario follows behind and stares, mouth agape. Natalia starts to cry. Looks like the baby is coming ready or not!

FUGITIVAS #54 Part 3 of 3

Sofia shows up at Alejandro’s. Sofia seems to say Florencia is Juan Pablo’s murderer and that Arturo covered for her. They pour over pictures most of which seem to be Arturo; empty coke bottles indicate they’ve been at it a while. Later they look at Ivan’s sleazy picture.

Oh my, the baby is here! Natalia holds her as the women fuss and fawn. How is the patient the doctor asks Marta on the phone. It seems the women have things well in hand. Montse comes in and the baby cries as the women are all smiles.

Marta wakes the girls up saying “chicas”. Natalia is still sleeping. I believe she says Dario has given them permission to stay until Frida recovers…

Sofia takes her leave as Alejandro thanks her.

Frida enters Dario’s room but he is cold as ice; he clearly hasn’t thawed. He tells her to close the door on her way out. He gulps and sits down clearly distraught as she cries on the other side of the door.

Nico bothers Amanda at work talking about Vero. Amanda doesn’t want to hear it.

Lorena calls Gabriela, concerned, asking how she is. Vincente comes in and Gabriela whispers to him she is speaking with her sister. She asks her how she is and just then Vincente comes in and has her put it on speaker. Lorena is really worried but Gabriela says she is safe with Vincente. Wrong answer! Lorena says the family cannot be trusted! With that, an angry Vincente grabs the phone and starts screaming at Lorena for badmouthing his family!

Has the slicing and dicing begun? I have a feeling this was a combination of #54 and #55…Kindly add to and/or correct anything I got wrong.

If Frida's diagnosis was revealed tonight, I didn't get it! It's almost as big a mystery as who killed JP!!!

Anon, Dario threw Carmen out but she has popped up again here and there threatening Dario, etc. She isn't Matias' mother and is actually legally married to someone else.

No, we never get a diagnosis for Frida who blames her symptoms all on stress in front of Marta. Frida suggests that maybe she has a little anemia but nothing serious. Marta doesn't know how stress would cause convulsion but is never able to pin her down to a definitive diagnosis. All Marta hears from the doctor is that Frida's blood test had some abnormalities: the number of her her leukocytes, lymphocytes and platelets are all below normal. Frida asks her to leave before she continues her discussion with the doctor about her diagnosis. The doctor supposes correctly that she has said nothing to her aunt(Marta) about the disease she is suffering from. Frida says she hasn't and doesn't want him to tell her either. He will respect her decision. It turns out that Frida has not been receiving any treatment for her condition due to the fact that the medication made her feel dizzy all the time. Shew felt nauseous, sleepy and had no strength to do anything. Then night would come and she couldn't sleep. It wasn't living. It was a high price to pay to live some additional years. She prefers to live whatever is left of her life the best way possible and be done with it. The doctor agrees that the treatment for her illness is very hard
to go through but if she doesn't take it, she has very little time left. He suggests that she try some other medications that are new and might be better for her to deal with. Frida asks if those medications will cure her. The doctor answers that she knows it is very unlikely for her illness to reverse itself, but at least the new medications would help her get along better. Frida doesn't think that is the answer for her. She would rather live less time but be able to enjoy her life for as long as she can. The doctor understands and respects her decision. He adds that each person is free to decide what they want to do with their life. She is grateful for his understanding. She only wants to go home. He tells her that it isn't possible until she recovers a bit more. What happened to her wasn't anything minor. She begs him to let her go ASAP. Places like hospitals depress her. He promises to let her go as soon as he sees she is stable enough. Now he wants to see her rest. Frida nods. The doctor sees Marta later in the hallway. He tells her that Frida's platelets are low and when her IV is finished she can leave. He says Frida needs to tell her the diagnosis. Towards the end of the episode, Marta is still trying to get the truth out of Frida but she isn't talking.

Amanda shows Ismael photos of her pride and joy: her two cats. he though she would be more of a dog person. She prefers cats because they are independent. You have to take dogs out for walks everyday and with her job, she has not time. Their names are Tommi and Salami. She adopted them as newborns and they have been with her for three years.

Lisset overheard Arturo talking with Iván and mentioning Alejandro. Iván told Arturo not to worry that Aldo had left the city as Arturo ordered him to and that Alejandro would never find him. Lorena says she will never be able to prove her innocence because Arturo will always find a way to stay out of jail.

Nico complains again to Amanda about not including him this time when they went to the hospital. She says she went to his office to let him know but he wasn't there. He suggests that he should have texted him. She advises him that if he wants to work on a team, maybe he should not be leaving his place of employment. She is not his secretary.
 

EXTRAS #2

Sofía tells Alejandro that maybe they are looking at solving the case in the wrong way by presuming that Arturo did it and trying to prove it was him. Maybe they need to change their point of view and consider who had a motive to kill JP. Alejandro says she has been reading too many detective novels. She says no but she got the idea from a movie she saw the night before. They discuss Iván. Alejandro thinks he just cleans up Arturos' dirty business dealings but Aldo is another story. He doubts he did it unless Arturo ordered him to. Alejandro thinks the question is why did Arturo decide to get rid of JP.
He thinks it was because he knew too much but about what???

Nico tells Amanda Ismael talked to him about the night before and he has no idea now Vero got the idea in her head that she was a lesbian. He never said anything to her. He would not be capable of doing such a thing. Amanda could not care less what his novia thinks but she is only asking him not to talk to anyone about her. Absolutley NOBODY! She hopes that is clear.

Amanda the cat woman. Who'd have thunk? Tommi and Salami, love the names, perhaps there's hope for her yet! I loved her standing up to Nico and her intenseness and dedication to her craft. If only she hadn't been the leak. I have the feeling she might well confess rather than having Nico turn her in. Even Nico is smart enough to realize that once he surrenders his "golden goose" he'll be out in the cold once and for all.

I am no closer to figuring out who killed JP than I was in the beginning. Sometimes I think it was on Arturo's orders (I don't see him sullying his hands himself), other times I think Florencia could have done it (perhaps he was cheating on her?) and every once in a while I wonder if it could have been Vincente. He has quite the temper. Could he possibly be his father's son??
