El Angel de Aurora #112
Part 1 of 3 (Including deleted scenes and fragments)
[DS] Last part of previous episode's final scene. Edgar is seriously attentive. [/DS]
Aurora tried to convince Briana that Helena was not seeking Angel, She has a lot on her plate and Angel is a good man. Briana mentioned Jezabel doing something horrible which made Aurora suspicious.
[DS] Pintas was on the lam at that time and ran before Fabrizio could get the police after him. He ran after that and never saw Fabrizio again. He revealed that Patricia was also in that hotel. His attitude showed prurient interest. Edgar flashed back to his previous meeting with Demon and revealing to him that Jezabel took pills “possibly to torture her conquests.” Pintas left the room to get his jacket as Edgar gave this some deeper thought. [/DS]
Aurora asked what Jezabel did and Briana said Jezabel was always aggressive toward her and everyone knew that. Aurora wanted something specific and wasn't going to let her go without it. Briana tried to demur from answering but Aurora was fed up. She told Briana that she better not think of her as a fool. if she was hiding anything she would have to deal with her. The little bitch headed back to the table as Aurora saw her in a new light.
[DS] JC ended a phone call and the rivalry for Aurora began again. Angel had to make them stop as Briana and Aurora rejoined them. [/DS]
Helena bought a soda and a croissant from Glorio. She asked him if he remembered seeing Demon and Briana kissing. He did (flashback to that scene) and he called Aquiles for confirmation.
Night
[DS] In Edgar's office the thugs showed Demon the video of Angel's defense of Aurora. He grinned, wanted an edit or two and it had to go viral. One said they needed authorization from Edgar and Demon lost his cool, insisting he was in charge. The two walked out as Demon went behind the desk, knocked something off it, and sat down [Does anyone else think that Edgar might now have more a$$ets than Demon?] [/DS]
Helena was in the office thinking about her life going down the drain, She asked Jezabel where Demon was hiding, then if Demon and Briana were lovers. Jezabel said Yes, they were.
[DS] The Lunch Crowd was in the supply room. Glorio had told Esperanza about Briana and Demon. This erupted into an argument about whether telling Helena was the right thing to do.
Helena followed Jezabel into her office and continued the conversation. Jezabel was very matter-of-fact in saying that this is what men do and one has to deal with it. Jezabel said she should be glad to be on another level, but Helena didn't take this especially since Demon was cheating on her with her own sister. Jezabel sarcastically suggested doing what she wanted even if it was revenge adultery with Angel or like her dad with Aurora. This was exactly as Aurora entered. She asked why Jezabel always had to bring up the past about her being left at the altar. Jezabel made her exit with more sarcasm.

Part 2 of 3
Antonio ad JC went into Antonio's study. It did not look promising.
Helena told Aurora the latest and the confirmation. She felt like a fool.
Demon and Briana talked on the phone. He told her she was going to be an aunt. No proof yet but he saw the signs. He advised her to run away with his stupid cousin. After the call she took her purse and left.
[DS] Helena was sure that Briana and Demon's dalliance predated Angel and wasn't sure what to do. She then told Aurora she was pregnant. [/DS]
Antonio looked at the contract and felt like he was making a deal with the devil. JC told him he found out that Demon was involved and that it was Demon got Edgar involved and who provoked the audit.
[DS] Helena said she had to do something about Demon. She was not going to stop the divorce and she didn't want Demon or Jezabel to hurt her child. Aurora understood. She told her she would not be alone. She was going to deal with Demon and Briana ad Angel needed to know about them.
Antonio looked ill. He started cursing Demon and collapsed. He asked for his pills. JC asked where they were. He looked like was going to let Antonio die. The maid came in, found the pills, and gave him one. Antonio got up with a little help from JC who left. Antonio stood up and asked the maid for some water.
Pascual went to the bar to look for Edgar. Linette would not let him. The thugs who provoked Angel were there. Pascual said he was Angel's father and Angel was a friend of Edgar's.
Helena admitted to Aurora that she loved Angel. Aurora said that before anything else she had to tell Angel. If he still loved her no was the time before he marries Briana.
Angel poured milk for the kids then saw the video of himself defending Aurora from the thugs. It was already going viral.
Pintas and Edgar arrived at the bar. Pascual was still there. [DS] Pintas told the thugs to throw him out. They advanced and grabbed Pascual while Edgar chewed Pintas out.
Angel wanted to give Demon a piece of his mind but the kids would not let him, thinking that this could be a trap. He did finally get out. [/DS]
Jezabel was in the library listening to the same mass. Demon entered saying it all went perfectly. He poured himself a drink and lied to her about being in love, so they will be together. She checkmated him because now Helena knew he was fooling around with Briana. He asked who told her and she confessed to it.

Pascual was in the supply room to meet with Pintas, who handed his jacket to Linette, who started looking worried. One of the thugs led her out of the room, Pintas threatened to recover Angel. The fist fight began.
Demon and Jezabel talked about keeping Briana in her place. Jezabel pointed out that the first thing Briana was likely to do was to get pregnant to create an heir. The revelation of their relationship could stop the marriage, but he also had to convince Helena that he was Briana's victim. Demon was not sure this would work because Briana knew too much. Patricia could take care of that. The goal was to insure that Angel have no children “and there is a solution for that.” Demon then told her that Helena could be pregnant. Jezabel looked satisfied.
[DS] Edgar was told about Demon and the video. He got up to check on the fight.
Pintas and Pascual continued to insult each other. Pintas picked up a wine bottle and hit Pascual with it. It shattered ad Pintas yelled “Shut up! You are not Angel's father. I am! He carries my blood and that of Aurora. He will give me my place among rich people.” He was about to stab Pascual when Edgar ran in and restrained him.
JC got home to hearing Luis say he and Mané will be married. JC was not ready for this.
The fight ended with Pascual bloody and tied up. Pintas said his corpse will be tossed away. Linette told Edgar that his mother would not have allowed this. Edgar told the thugs this was “alright but not here.” They were to kill Pascual elsewhere and this was not to make the news.
[DS] Jezabel was happy at Demon's news of the pregnancy and told him not to worry. He said he will not lose this bay or Helena. Antonio arrived and told the maid he was there to see Demon. [/DS]
Antonio accused Demon of the corruption frame-up. Jezabel said it wasn't Demon, but herself.
Angel showed Helena and Aurora the fight video on his phone. Aurora said it was false. Before Helena could say anything Briana came out congratulating her on her pregnancy. The little bitch smirked.

Thanks Urban, for going the extra mile in all this confusión. I commented earlier on #111 and how I didn’t know what business was broke and who was behind it. Looks like Jezabel is taking credit.
I hate that Helena is expectante Demon’s child. I kind of hope she’ll lose it but don’t think the writers would put two miscarrages so close together. I would not want Demon’s child.
So Pintas thinks his son will make him rich. I hate how they all asume he’s the dad with no proof. But I can’t see Angel giving him money. He’s more likely to end up in jail.

Angel/Aurora. Once again, thank you for clarifying so many things, Urban. And yep, Liz, this series should have had way more dna tests than it has. Edgar is turning out to be surprisingly evil, in partnership with both Pintas and Demian, especially in his mistreatment of Pascual. I too wonder what will happen with Helena's pregnancy. Will she miscarry? Will it turn out that the baby is the result of some pre-marital sex with Angel? Or will Angel be willing to raise someone else's child as Pascual and Vicki had raised him?
Angel / Aurora #112
I don't think any woman would want the child of anyone like Demon, or Pintas, for that matter. The recent issues in those states that won't allow women to abort a rape-initiated pregnancy is not just the trauma of the rape but that some of these places actually award the rapist rights to the child. That punishes the rape victim over and over.
My current opinion is that the last line a couple of episodes ago decided Demon's fate, meaning that he will die. Therefore Helena will be free.
We only ever saw one sex scene with Helena and Angel before they had the Big Misunderstanding and that is too long ago now. It could be Angel's fate to raise a child not of his blood as Pascual did and as Antonio may have back in the day if Jezabel hadn't set the wheels in motion for him to abandon Aurora at the altar.
If Angel has Pintas' DNA we finally have proof that values and personality are about Nurture rather than Nature. Angel will be a good father, like Pascual was to him.

[DS] Pregnancy news? Helena told Briana she was two-faced and asked her “Who told you, Demon?” Both Aurora and Angel looked at the smirking Briana with suspicion. [/DS]
Antonio told Demon off and called him a coward who hides behind his mother's skirts. He told Jezabel she was covering for Demon and that both of them will pay.
Briana tried to excuse Demon for being her brother-in-law and that the baby will solve their problems Angel asked if it was true. Then Helena had to say “Yes, I'm pregnant.” Only Briana was smiling.
Antonio told Demon that he was just like his mother; his father would be very disappointed with him. He was going to begin a new investigation and they would end up in prison.
[DS] JC told Luis he was not ready for marriage. He needed to get his priorities in order and get his career started. Luis was not interested in anything else JC had to say [/DS]
Angel walked away, Aurora after him. Angel said that if Helena is not happy with Demon she should not be with him.
[DS] Jezabel said that the investors would never accept Angel. Antonio said she had come to him for investment and she would stoop very low in the name of business. Helena and Briana walked in this Helena asked Antonio what this was about. Jezabel said he was sick in the head and he said “No. you are the one who is sick.”. Flashback to the past with the negative DNA test and the anonymous phone call Antonio received as Antonio correctly accused her of doing this to torture Aurora. He identified the lie that Aurora had cheated on him and that the pregnancy was bit the result of rape. He asked whether she had manipulated her father to dispose of the baby. Helena and Briana stood there listening.
[DS] JC still had trouble getting through to Luis. The boy said that they spend less and less time together and end up talking about your problems. He was testing him and now decided to move out, [with what money?]
Linette went into Edgar's office to ask if he needed anything. He said he didn't and then he understood why his mother kept her on the payroll. She said her mother did many thing but not kill innocent people. She walked out. He was about to drink some booze, than cursed Pintas and got up,
Jezabel accused Antonio of defamation [in what public place?] so Antonio forced Jezabel and Demon into the library to point to Miguel's headshot and ask whether she gaslit her father into doing what he did. She retaliated by accusing him of manipulating Aurora and referring to Angel as hijo. Antonio was not rattled by this as he told her she will face the consequences of her actions. [2 Kings 9: 10-12]
Outside Angel and Aurora talked about love and how it can't be killed off at will. He could no not forget Helena any more than Pascual could forget Vicki. [DS]

Part 2 of 3
Rolando and Anita sat together while waiting for Pascual and Angel. She prayed to her mother to help Angel and their father to come home.
Helena and Antonio were leaving. Demon came after them to defend Jezabel. Helena told Antonio she was pregnant. Demon thought this would keep her with him; she told him otherwise, The divorce is on and she didn't care about him boinking her sister. That last comment shocked Antonio.
Pintas sat opposite Edgar who looked a little nervous and/or more than a little irritated. Edgar ordered him to leave and never come back because everything that happened that night was his fault.
Jezabel called Antonio an imbecile who didn't know what she was capable of. Briana said he was quite annoyed and probably does know. Demon came in to tell her that Helena knew that they were lovers and she probably told Angel. Briana got angry wit him. Jezabel admitted telling her. She told her to go abroad to forget and how much does she need? Briana realized she was expendable, especially when Demon called her a traitor “like my mother.” She said they needed to receive her when she returns as Angel's wife. She then walked out. Demon laughed.
Maggie joined the kids. Angel and Aurora arrived. Anita hugged Angel, Maggie told him that Pascual had not come home. [DS] Maggie and Rolando went home.
Luis looked for JC through a fog. They reached toward each other but their hands did not touch. JC looked to his other side and saw his other son who told him he reaches out through words but should do so with his heart. “Listen. My brother needs you, Papa. Do it for the family. The most important thing is family love.” More fog and JC woke up on his couch. [/DS]
Antonio was happy at the prospect of becoming an abuelo but did not want to deal with Demon. Helena was worried about being alone and her baby having a father like Demon. Antonio said that Demon did not deserve to be the baby's father. He was still incredulous that Demon and Briana could be such traitors.
Jezabel told her father's picture that he was right. Also that Antonio was turning Aurora against her. Jezabel said her words were stronger than his. Demon wanted Dr Mendiola there to testify that this would be a suicide attempt. Demon laid out his idea. He also intended to keep Helena.
[DS] Helena told her father she had tried to forget Angel but couldn't. He understood, saying that they will have a beautiful family without Demon or Jezabel, [/DS]
Morning
Pepe showed the fight video to Aquiles and Glorio. It was said that one of the men was fighting for his life in hospital. Helena was worried about this video.
Angel was sure something had happened to Pascual. The barrio buds told him what they knew. They were supposed to help him find Pintas.

Rolando and Anita sat together while waiting for Pascual and Angel. She prayed to her mother to help Angel and their father to come home.
Helena and Antonio were leaving. Demon came after them to defend Jezabel. Helena told Antonio she was pregnant. Demon thought this would keep her with him; she told him otherwise, The divorce is on and she didn't care about him boinking her sister. That last comment shocked Antonio.
Pintas sat opposite Edgar who looked a little nervous and/or more than a little irritated. Edgar ordered him to leave and never come back because everything that happened that night was his fault.
Jezabel called Antonio an imbecile who didn't know what she was capable of. Briana said he was quite annoyed and probably does know. Demon came in to tell her that Helena knew that they were lovers and she probably told Angel. Briana got angry wit him. Jezabel admitted telling her. She told her to go abroad to forget and how much does she need? Briana realized she was expendable, especially when Demon called her a traitor “like my mother.” She said they needed to receive her when she returns as Angel's wife. She then walked out. Demon laughed.
Maggie joined the kids. Angel and Aurora arrived. Anita hugged Angel, Maggie told him that Pascual had not come home. [DS] Maggie and Rolando went home.
Luis looked for JC through a fog. They reached toward each other but their hands did not touch. JC looked to his other side and saw his other son who told him he reaches out through words but should do so with his heart. “Listen. My brother needs you, Papa. Do it for the family. The most important thing is family love.” More fog and JC woke up on his couch. [/DS]
Antonio was happy at the prospect of becoming an abuelo but did not want to deal with Demon. Helena was worried about being alone and her baby having a father like Demon. Antonio said that Demon did not deserve to be the baby's father. He was still incredulous that Demon and Briana could be such traitors.
Jezabel told her father's picture that he was right. Also that Antonio was turning Aurora against her. Jezabel said her words were stronger than his. Demon wanted Dr Mendiola there to testify that this would be a suicide attempt. Demon laid out his idea. He also intended to keep Helena.
[DS] Helena told her father she had tried to forget Angel but couldn't. He understood, saying that they will have a beautiful family without Demon or Jezabel, [/DS]

Pepe showed the fight video to Aquiles and Glorio. It was said that one of the men was fighting for his life in hospital. Helena was worried about this video.

Aurora called Angel and left a voicemail. She knew Pascual was MIA and was worried. Carmelita said she would pray for him.
[DS] Demon told Jezabel what was going to happen. She wasn't sure this would work; it was dangerous. He told her he was doing this for his family. She looked only a little less anxious as she left his room.
Angel and the two barrio buds talked; no progress made. Antonio arrived and heard this. When Angel mentioned Pintas Antonio told him to call the police. He started to, [/DS]

Demon set up his fake suicide attempt with a video call to Helena and did a fake death. Helena was afraid.
Angel told JC what he suspected. Antonio talked to JC who finally said he would be there. Antonio called police. Luis felt ditched again.
[DS] Helena called for an ambulance as she went up the stairs. She called Demon's phone' no answer and straight to voicemail.
JC explained that Angel's father had disappeared. Luis' attitude did a 180 and he said to go ahead and look.

Palmiro came over saying he hadn't seen Pascual but he had the whole neighborhood looking for him.
Jezabel put on her warpaint and looked at a pic on her phone wondering whether she had killed her own son.

Aurora found Demon on the floor. She yelled for help. She saw an empty bottle. He felt cold but was alive. Jezabel ran in and played her role.
[DS] Angel was worried that Pintas was behind Pascual's disappearance. Antonio was trying to reassure him.
Luis was still bent out of shape. Aquiles and Glorio argued about Aquiles' plan to learn more about Jezabel [as we keep hoping he won't have to go undercover]
Jezabel wanted to call Dr Mentirola but Aurora said the hospital was closer. Aurora yelled at her hat Demon hadn't vomited anything. They started moving him.
Angel thanked Antonio and calmed down. He felt familial affection for him despite the lack of a blood tie. They got up to go to the police station.
Demon was on the bed. Jezabel called the doctor's office. Aurora yelled that time was of the essence She yelled at the maid to call their chauffeur. The two sisters continued to argue with Jezabel accusing Aurora of wanting to be seen as the heroine. This got bad enough to cause Aurora to slap Jezabel who asked if she was crazy. Aurora accused her of that. The maid came in as the siren was heard. Helena had called for the ambulance. The chauffeur came in and Aurora had him help move Demon. [/DS]
Patricia was on her gossip show announcing that Briana will be marrying Angel, talking about the irony of who would be her comadre and how both of them want their children to be happy. [Bitch] The host said there would be a short commercial break. Pintas laughed as he watched this on TV at home, then said insulting things about Patricia.
Aurora and Jezabel were in the hospital corridor. Jezabel made a nasty comment about Angel, then accused Aurora for abandoning Demon when she found her own son. Aurora told her that neither Angel nor Helena were at fault here. Also, that despite everything that happened to her she didn't put herself above all others, saying “unlike you.”
Luis looked at a family photo on his phone. JC came back and they made up.
[DS] Jezabel accused Aurora of stealing Demon's love. Aurora came back with saying that Jezabel had never taught that to him, just selfishness and narcissism. Jezabel questioned that second word, then asked “Do you realize that my son's life is hanging by a thread?” Aurora also accused her of never paying attention to Demon's sadness or anyone else's. She finally got Jezabel to admit to never having loved her. In fact, she also admitted hating her with her entire being.

Aurora flashed back to Jezabel's declaration of hate. She then said she had never accepted this despite the evidence. She asked why. Like any other narcissist Jezabel told her she was worse than herself for always crying and playing the victim.
Maggie stayed with the kids at Pascual's house. Both of them had no appetite because they were worried about Pascual. No news yet but Maggie tried to assure Anita that her father would return.
Cassandra wondered whether it was safe to return to work and became concerned when Aquiles told her of his intentions about Jezabel. He felt he was very close to the truth. He asked her if Jezabel would find him attractive, which almost made Cassandra laugh.
As they left the TV station Patricia told Briana she should get Angel to make a public statement abpit the video being falsified. Briana disagreed, saying this would only make things worse. She thought they should just go away for a while. She got a message from Angel about Pascual's disappearance which only caused Patricia ti roll her eyes and make an unfeeling remark. [/DS]
The doctor told Jezabel Demon was awake but needed rest and to recover. He had asked to speak with Aurora. Jezabel was angry but could not do anything. Helena arrived and Jezabel told her to leave.
Aurora asked him why he asked for her He said she was the only one he could trust. After losing his father and Helena she was the only one left. He begged her to help him get Helena back,
Helena told Jezabel off and Jezabel apologized after a fashion. She accused Antonio of telling lies about her. When Jezabel said the important thing was Demon, her, and the baby, Helena would not allow Jezabel to touch her. Jezabel said to help Demon. Helena said she would not let Jezabel use this occasion to force a reconciliation. Helena was adamant that Demon needed a shrink. She couldn't believe that Demon could become as self-destructive as his father. She would only allow Demon contact with the baby if her got help. Jezabel accused Helena of never having loved Demon. Helena feels no guilt over self-preservation and the baby's safety. After Helena left Jezabel said to herself “She is stronger than I thought. I will break her if it's the last thing I do.”

He also said that when Pintas is caught he will personally see to it that he pays for his crimes. Both cautioned Angel against taking the law into his own hands. He was not to talk about this in front of Anita. They also needed to put posters through the barrio.
Aurora and Helena talked about Demon's video call and Pascual's disappearance. Helena asked Aurora for advice.
Mané and Luis talked about his difficulties with his father, She thought that Aurora was the key to this. Someone was filming them. Angel and his friends recognized this guy and chased him.
Jezabel went into Demon's room. He told her things had not gone as planned. Jezabel said Aurora was involved in that. He said she had never been able to fight against Aurora. She told him not to say idiotic things and wanted to be rid of Angel and Antonio. She told him he had to keep playing the victim. Helena entered. Jezabel told her to think about what she said. “You and the baby are his only salvation.” Demon feigned sleep.
The guys did not catch the spy. He was one of the thugs outside the restaurant.
Elvia confronted Pintas about Aurora. He answered that Jezabel paid him to do it.

Angel/Arora. Wow! 2 excellent recaps in a row today, Urban. I don't know how you do it. I still don't understand why Edgar has reached such a level of evil. Yes, Tete was in the underworld, but she did see to care for him. That "fake" suicide attempt was very dangerous. Jezabel was going to wait for Aurora to discover the collapsed Demian before she came into the room? Very risky! But then she may not really care if Demian dies.

What I am wondering about now is Who disabled the phones? Also What drug did Demon take? He must have overdosed.
I also wondered at the absurdity of the panic scene but it's likely that there will be a flashback to it for Aurora to realize that Jezabel's reaction makes no logical sense unless this is described to someone who truly knows Jezabel's evil. At this point I would say that Pascual, Edgar, and Antonio know enough about her evil to figure out that this was a faked suicide attempt. Patricia might also figure this out but probably not care.
I wonder about Edgar as well. My gut says Linette has the hots for him and I would hate to see her disappointed.
I will start on #115 today. I owe four full-episode recaps now and my timing will depend on when 117 & 118 (today's) are up on Vix or Spectrum On Demand. I will be lagging behind next week due to a medical appointment on Tuesday that I may or may not have to reschedule due to a cold I haven't shaken yet. I will also have the Karmageddon post ready for next Thursday so we can take that discussion for that weekend.
Pintas deserves a very serious punishment. Both he and Jezabel have committed enough evil that Mexican law does not have adequate punishment for.

Elvia marched into Pintas' digs and ID'd him as Aurora's rapist. He said Jezabel ordered him to do this. [DS] Elvia warned him that she is not defenseless. He got in her face and said he didn't doubt this but that he liked females that bite. Then he laughed. “That's in your line of work, isn't it?” He then poured a drink intended for her. She looked at it with suspicion.
Demon pretended to wake up and began playing the victim in front of Helena. He said he would set her free and hoped she would be happy. She wished him the same. He then asked her to let him have a relationship with his child.
Maggie took the kids to school while Antonio, JC, and the barrio buds talked about the falsified video. Angel was sure that Demon was behind it. The friends left to put up more posters. Antonio and JC didn't quite agree about Demon's possible guilt in the matter of those videos. Angel then brought up the possibility of Demon faking suicide. Antonio seemed to agree.
Pintas had dealt out cards to play poker but Elvia had no patience with this. She took her purse and got up. Vampi ran to the door to prevent her departure. Pintas said “I'm going to talk and you will listen, detective. Yes or yes?” [/DS]
Aurora talked with the men about Demon. Angel thought that he might be responsible for Pascual's disappearance. JC and Antonio explained that they had contacted all the hospitals and he was not in any of them. They had covered all the bases. Antonio raised the subject of the men in the recent video whom they had seen earlier that day. Angel was sure Demon was involved. Aurora did not want to believe this. Angel said that while it is admirable to want to see the good in people she had to see who Demon really was. Antonio said Demon had done many things to separate Angel and Helena. JC agreed with Aurora.
[DS] Elvia told Pintas that Edgar gave her his address. She had her suspicions but now knew that Jezabel was responsible for all the bad things that happened to Aurora. “Family tragedies are caused by those close to the victims.” Pintas mock-applauded her and asked what she intended to do. She walked out of the house. JC asked the others to let him talk to Aurora. He followed her out. Angel said this was the right thing now; that Aurora really didn't know her own nephew.
Aurora knew that Demon was heavily influenced by his mother with regard to ambition and wanting the power in the company but still could not believe that he would deliberately hurt innocent people. JC understood her feelings but pointed out that he could do this because of Helena. She still didn't want to believe this and did not know what to do. JC said they needed to be patient. They went back. He hugged her. Antonio saw this but kept his cool. [/DS]

[DS] Pintas pulled his own gaslighting stunt by pretending to be psychic and telling Elvia he could see that Aurora took Antonio away from her. He then began looking for a proposition.

Aurora prayed with Angel and Anita at the altar. Patricia nudged Briana to join them. She then looked at her phone showing the still of the gossip show. [/DS]

Elvia marched into Pintas' digs and ID'd him as Aurora's rapist. He said Jezabel ordered him to do this. [DS] Elvia warned him that she is not defenseless. He got in her face and said he didn't doubt this but that he liked females that bite. Then he laughed. “That's in your line of work, isn't it?” He then poured a drink intended for her. She looked at it with suspicion.
Demon pretended to wake up and began playing the victim in front of Helena. He said he would set her free and hoped she would be happy. She wished him the same. He then asked her to let him have a relationship with his child.
Maggie took the kids to school while Antonio, JC, and the barrio buds talked about the falsified video. Angel was sure that Demon was behind it. The friends left to put up more posters. Antonio and JC didn't quite agree about Demon's possible guilt in the matter of those videos. Angel then brought up the possibility of Demon faking suicide. Antonio seemed to agree.
Pintas had dealt out cards to play poker but Elvia had no patience with this. She took her purse and got up. Vampi ran to the door to prevent her departure. Pintas said “I'm going to talk and you will listen, detective. Yes or yes?” [/DS]
Aurora talked with the men about Demon. Angel thought that he might be responsible for Pascual's disappearance. JC and Antonio explained that they had contacted all the hospitals and he was not in any of them. They had covered all the bases. Antonio raised the subject of the men in the recent video whom they had seen earlier that day. Angel was sure Demon was involved. Aurora did not want to believe this. Angel said that while it is admirable to want to see the good in people she had to see who Demon really was. Antonio said Demon had done many things to separate Angel and Helena. JC agreed with Aurora.
[DS] Elvia told Pintas that Edgar gave her his address. She had her suspicions but now knew that Jezabel was responsible for all the bad things that happened to Aurora. “Family tragedies are caused by those close to the victims.” Pintas mock-applauded her and asked what she intended to do. Jezabel hit Carmelita's hands which broke the rosary before it fell to the floor. She said “My son doesn't need any pleas and don't retur with anything for my sister's son. Get out.” [God will get you for that]. Carmelita looked afraid as she left their vicinity while Demon looked like he wanted to laugh. He then asked Jezabel what happened.
The guy shooting the video reported to Edgar. He thought they didn't recognize him because he wore dark glasses. Edgar was irritated and asked if he thought of cameras that could be in the area, then laughed, saying this was a joke, like Jezabel would say.
[DS] Luis said he hoped that Angel's father would turn up soon.
Helena fell for Demon's victim act in the hospital room. Antonio was concerned that she might go back to him.

Esperanza got on Aquiles and Glorio thinking they were liars >i>[Who cares?]. [/DS]
JC received an anonymous text message about Patricia being a murderer.
Aquiles told the others that Jezabel was responsible for Carlos' death. He wanted justice. He asked Esperanza for her help. He would give up his life for his friends [I get a bad vibe from this line] and he was going to seduce Jezabel.
Edgar visited Demon who told him he once thought his strength came from his father's family but now believed he was a Campero, like his grandfather. He wants to send Angel back to Las Flores [in a straight jacket?]. Edgar asked about his paternal grandfather having been tyrannical over his father and speculated about suicide. He sat down saying that Demon must have taken something less dangerous than what he had for Helena. Edgar asked if he knew that Jezabel used pills and asked if he knew on whom. Jezabel heard this and entered the room [...interestingly in an orange jumpsuit]. She tried to chase him out claiming that Demon needed rest. Edgar reminded her that they had done business together and ordered him to leave. Demon wanted to know more and Edgar revealed that Jezabel used pills on Fabrizio. Demon looked at her in shock.
[DS] Esperanza had fainted. None of the women liked Aquiles' plan. This became an argument.

Helena arrived to help stop him, addressing him as “Mi amor.” Just as he was about to do something about this Simon and the other guy came back to tell him that they found a body that could be Pascual. Angel collapsed against a tree. Aurora tried to calm him down. Finally he did after the guys said the body was not recognizable. Angel did not want Anita to know yet. The guys said not to worry. All started for the morgue but Briana grabbed Helena's arm to try to stop her. Aurora and Antonio finally got Angel to calm down, despite thinking that Demon was behind this.
JC called Patricia, who was not caring about a thing. She told him that Pascual was dead and he told her to stay there. Helena and Briana came in and Briana told Patricia to get out so she could talk to Helena. Patricia left and Briana started in on Helena who knew what she was pulling. She counter-accused her of going after Demon when she was engaged to him. She now saw that Briana was just like her mother, looking to take everything from her and her father. Briana started hitting below the belt, saying that Helena was incapable of keeping a man. Helena said that her sadness right now isn't about Angel or Demon but “you, my sister, who played with me when we were children and whom I held when Patricia hit you. Why did you betray me when I never hurt you?” “Because you took me as your toy. To fill the void left by your father. You never saw me as your equal,” “You are mistaken, but from this on moment I will forget you are my sister. I love Angel and I will fight to get him to return to my side even if I have to walk over you.” “I won't let you.” “You have to deal with it because if you know anything about me it's that I don't surrender. Ever. This time your suffering won't bother me.” She turned to leave but Briana grabbed her arm again. “So, what are you going to do? Angel is promised to me.” “And do you believe he will follow through on the promise when he finds out you have been boinking Demon? Because that will decide it fairly.”
Demon chased Jezabel up the stairs demanding to know if she killed his father. She admitted it. She provoked his suicide “and I did it to save you!” She admitted that she wanted him out of their lives. He called her a killer and evil. She said she loved him and did everything for him. He said to stop using him as a pretext for her crimes. She said she did this because Fabrizio knew about the rape and this was the only way to silence him. Demon said he loved his father but Jezabel insisted she was the only good thing in his life to protect him from his enemies and himself. Because he couldn't do anything by himself. That he would go mad without her. That Aurora and Angel would snatch the company, the mansion, and lock him in a madhouse, and he was her baby and... he grabbed her wrists and turned on her. He called her a killer, a manipulator, and said she will pay for killing his father. She said he can do nothing to her because he is nothing without her. He told her she was dead to him and left her sitting at the foot of the stairs.
[DS] Aquiles told the others this was about justice for Carlos. Cassandra laughed at Aquiles' question about whether Jezabel would find him attractive.
Jezabel went to her room telling herself Demon would not denounce her, but ended up knocking off the things on the vanity with the gloved left hand, causing herself pain. There was pain in her face as well.
Two thugs watched Luis and Mané kissing and waited for her to walk away. They snatched him while he was texting. [/DS]
Angel, Aurora, and Antonio were at the police morgue. After some encouragement from Antonio Angel led the way in. Someone uncovered the body. Angel and Aurora looked horrified.

Jezabel is a textbook example of a narcissist. She is all about control, just like her father. She controls Demon by alternating flagrant praise with excruciating criticism which puts him at her mercy. She has no ability to love, therefore he never learned what love really is. It makes me wonder if he will cross the line and kill someone in the end.

Angel/Aurora. I too thank you for making the chopped up episodes make much more sense, Urban. Yep, most of the evil in this novela has Damian (and Jezabel, and a bit Edgar) behind it. Aurora is way too gullible about Demian. It's hard to believe that after all she's been through she could still be so trusting. Jezabel is so abusive that I wonder why her maid stays. Yes indeed, Edgar must have a death wish to confront Jezabel and Demian. Of course, he's a bit of a killer himself. I still don't understand exactly why Luis was kidnapped, but I presume that your next post will enlighten us.
OT...many years ago when our original blog mom ( Melinama ) started recapping " Alborado" at her site called Pratie Place she referred to the galan as " the mystery boinker of Santa Rita." That word pops up from time to time .

Angel looked at the dead man and almost collapsed saying “It's not my father, it's not my father.” Aurora hugged him, then Antonio did.
[DS] Pintas and Vampi sat at the table with Pintas telling him he will go far if they stick together. Pintas flashed back to Elvia offering him his freedom in exchange for killing Aurora. He had decided to negotiate for cash as well [The card he was holding was the 6 of Coins from a Tarot Deck]. He went on about the murder targets going to their deaths while he will travel the world and get jiggy with beautiful women. Vampi laughed [as we all want to run to the vomitorium][/DS]
Briana and Patricia talked about Helena and the argument. Briana didn't give a flying damn about Helena's feelings and was determined to marry Angel no matter what. The one problem was that Helena knew about her dalliance with Demon. Patricia told her to take advantage of Angel's grief over his father. This was too much even for Briana who said this sounded inhuman. Patricia brushed that one off and indicated distaste for poor neighborhoods and their people. JC arrived and confronted Patricia about why she was helping Pintas.
[DS] Aurora called Helena with the update and told her they were on the way home. Helena asked about Angel, who wanted to confront Demon. [/DS]
Patricia acted like she didn't know what JC was talking about. He told her about the anonymous message which was the same as those received by Aurora and Antonio. “He put guilt on you. He said you were a killer.” Patricia said she could not believe that a lawyer would give any credence to this. Briana sided with her. JC offered to represent Patricia if she told him where Pintas was. Patricia tried to shame him over making this accusation “in the midst of the tragedy around us.” He didn't fall for this. He told her to stop thinking about herself and think about how this will affect her daughter. He then asked her where Pintas was. She threatened to report him for harassment if he didn't stop. He told her that he will speak with Aurora. “If you don't tell the truth I will see to it that you end up in jail.”
[DS] Aquiles modeled some Western wear to the laughter of the others about whether Jezabel would like him in it. Cassandra said he should look more sophisticated. Glorio gave him some breath mints. [/DS]
Angel went to the mansion demanding to see Demon. Helena stopped him and said that violence would not solve this. That he needed to face this calmly for his family. Declarations of love y un beso. Antonio and Aurora were there and were on the same page as Helena. Aurora still would not believe that Demon had anything to do with this.
JC met up with Simon and the other guy. He was about to look for his car when he got a call from Luis, saying he had been kidnapped. He had been gagged and blindfolded. He ran to his car ad the two guys followed him.
[DS] The two kidnappers gagged Luis and put headphones on him. They said this was a joke I him and his father and they were to release him in a little while. They left him there and went out to eat. [Note that the bearded one was one of the provocateurs and The Illustrated Man was Edgar's bodyguard at Teté's funeral.]

Angel spoke on the phone with police, Helena put the word out on social media, and Antonio spoke to Angel about the awkwardness of the triangle involving his daughters. Angel tolf Helena je loved her and did not want to hurt Briana. She told him that when she and Demon were engaged Briana ad he were lovers. Antonio looked pained at this. “Briana is the lover of Demon?” Angel asked. Helena told him that Glorio saw them kissing in a bar and Jezabel confirmed this. Aurora said Angel needed to deal with that. Helena said not yet. “What she did to me is way beyond one betrayal.” She was not going to defend her and no longer thought of her as a sister. Antonio tried to tell her they were sisters but Helena said No. They had no blood tie and she was fed up. Aurora told Angel he needed to end things with Briana. Angel wondered if Briana had been an accomplice to Demon's efforts at destroying him. Antonio said that Angel needs proof before taking any such steps,
Jezabel looked even more unhinged as she thought of Fabrizio. She called Pintas to tell him to kill Edgar, torturing him in the process. Edgar was in the same room with Pintas when she called.

[DS] Helena asked Antonio why he was defending Briana. He said that Angel should not do anything impulsive. Aurora compared this to Antonio's long-past impulse that caused the abandonment. Helena didn't want them to get upset about this all over again. Mutual declarations of love and doing the right thing. Antonio looked satisfied.
Pintas denied that it was Jezabel who called. It was a client with an idea. Edgar said he had better not be lying. Pintas knew or guessed that Jezabel killed Edgar's mother and Edgar said that Jezabel will get her just desserts. His revenge began with telling Demon that Jezabel killed his father. She will lose everything. They needed to wait until the time was right.

Aurora blessed Angel who was going to look for Demon, who entered almost immediately. Demon began insulting him with perro, naco, etc. Jezabel came down the stairs in her orange jumpsuit insisting that Demon had nothing to do with Pascual. She ordered him to forget that he is her nephew. More insults from Demon including wishing his whole family would go to hell and that Angel was the son of Pintas. Antonio finally slugged him, which provoked threats from Jezabel. Antonio told Jezabel off and Aurora finally said they should go. They left with Angel and Helena.

Angel spoke on the phone with police, Helena put the word out on social media, and Antonio spoke to Angel about the awkwardness of the triangle involving his daughters. Angel tolf Helena je loved her and did not want to hurt Briana. She told him that when she and Demon were engaged Briana ad he were lovers. Antonio looked pained at this. “Briana is the lover of Demon?” Angel asked. Helena told him that Glorio saw them kissing in a bar and Jezabel confirmed this. Aurora said Angel needed to deal with that. Helena said not yet. “What she did to me is way beyond one betrayal.” She was not going to defend her and no longer thought of her as a sister. Antonio tried to tell her they were sisters but Helena said No. They had no blood tie and she was fed up. Aurora told Angel he needed to end things with Briana. Angel wondered if Briana had been an accomplice to Demon's efforts at destroying him. Antonio said that Angel needs proof before taking any such steps,
Jezabel looked even more unhinged as she thought of Fabrizio. She called Pintas to tell him to kill Edgar, torturing him in the process. Edgar was in the same room with Pintas when she called.

[DS] Patricia asked Briana what made her think this. “If only you had a hint of my intelligence, but so much stupidity.” Briana had had enough. She called Patricia out on her failings as a mother, having endured insults, humiliation, and blows and thinking she deserved it all. “I could have had you arrested but I didn't because you were my mother and I had this codependency with you. But you know what? That's over. You will never hurt me again. And when Don Pascual comes home and I marry Angel I don't want you anywhere near me. I don't want you in my life.” Patricia twisted the knife by saying “Marry Angel? Don't be ridiculous. No, that will never happen. He doesn't love you. You're nothing more than a passtime, consoling because he can't have Helena. Ay, Briana, nobody loves you or ever loved you. You are just like me. You may deny it but I am all you have in this world.” “I hate you, Mother.” “I hate you, too, For being stupid. And miserable.” [/DS]
Demon went into the next room, poured himself a glass of red wine, and flashed back to his father alive and then the discovery of his death. Jezabel came in and told him in life you make sacrifices and he should have his grandfather's place. She was relieved until they told her about Luis. They had to go to continue the search for Pascual. When they were far enough away she took out her cell and left a voicemail for Edgar that she needed help, [/DS]
A couple of hours later the two kidnappers poured some water down Luis' throat and untied him. They also had Pascual on a mattress on the floor, tied up and blindfolded. He was begging for water as they moved Luis, who recognized his voice.
[DS] JC was at the police station reporting the anonymous message. The plainclothesman asked him if this message was possibly related to the kidnapping of his sons three years ago. JC flashed back to that and asked himself if he should not have brought Luis home.
A kidnapper talked to Linette who was looking to protect Edgar. Nothing like this had happened under Teté. She took off Pascual's blindfold, held his head to face away from her, and said she would help him escape but he was only to implicate Pintas and leave Edgar out of this or he would regret this for the rest of his life.
Jezabel told Demon to rest. He was willing to fight for his child. She said also for his wife and the business “because you are a king with the world at your feet.” More misogyny in her words. He took the photo of the two of them and put it face down, saying “Those dramas are not my problem.”
Aurora and Helena entered the conference room. The investors told her they would not accept Angel as CEO because of the video. Antonio told them that the video was false. Sr Elman said that the video was not a good corporate image. “Either he goes or we go” was the response.

Aurora and Antonio tried to explain that the video was false. Angel told the investors he believed that the men in the video deliberately provoked him and this was not the first time. Angel and Helena went into an office.
[DS] Demon and Jezabel flashback to a meeting with Sr Elman at the mansion. She showed him the video on her phone and both suggested that Angel being CEO would put their investments at risk. He agreed. She said in the present that they will have a party when Angel is forced back to that disgusting barrio. [/DS]
Aurora and Antonio talked to the investor who said that Jezabel contacted him and met with him before this meeting; Antonio said that neither he nor Aurora had been informed. Elman then said that their family differences are obviously carried over into the business.
[DS] Angel and Helena talked about wishing they could go back to the time when they were happy. They needed to solve current issues and he realized he needed to talk to Briana and end their relationship. Beso [Who the hell wears tops like that in the office?]. [/DS]

After he left the conference room Aurora had the lightbulb moment that Jezabel and Demon were behind all this. Antonio agreed that this video was a contributing factor to the bankruptcy threat.
Briana went to Edgar's office to get his help looking for Pascual. Edgar was declining to do this, but Linette got on his case. His mother would be ashamed of him if he failed to help; Pascual was alive and they had him.
Aurora said to Antonio that the company is a toy to Jezabel. It would be better for them to go, Angel, and Helena joined them with Angel wanting to explain about about the video. Antonio told them his theory of the crime. Angel said he had to go home to prevent Anita hearing lies about what happened.
Linette really got on Edgar's case. Edgar managed to evade the question about his orders and said that Pascual and Pintas had met in the bar. Pascual was in the security room. Briana asked if he had planned to kill him. Edgar said No but Pascual could have told police that Edgar was Pintas' accomplice so he couldn't let him go. Briana wanted to know more about Pintas but Edgar said he would explain that another time. Briana pleaded with him to do the right thing and said that Jezabel and Demon were the poison. [DS] Posters with Pascual's photo were all over the barrio and the park. Anita and Rolando prayed for him to return safely. Angel asked his mother's forgiveness for this while Helena told him not to blame himself, assuring him that his parents loved him from the moment he was put in their arms. Maggie called his name from outside the house. He and Helena ran out into the street. [/DS] Pascual was there, supported by Briana and Palmiro. Other neighbors surrounded them. He had feared never seeing his children again.
At the police station Luis told the desk cop what he could. After Mané left two men walked past him and grabbed him from behind. He was horrified and it felt like the time he and his brother were taken. He did not see the kidnappers' faces and they had pit headphones on him. However as they led him out to the street he heard Pascual's voice. He did not say this out loud but he was sure Jezabel was responsible.
Pascual rejected Helena's offer of help and asked for Briana's. Helena tried to get him to talk about it. Briana told her No. The neighbors tried to get him to talk so they could look around for he culprits. Briana finally said she found him wandering around looking for Aurora's home, He looked confused so she led him back home. Pascual said he was eternally grateful to her. The neighbors left so that Pascual could rest.
Angel tried to get Pascual to talk but he did not rat out Pintas, saying thar he was old and forgets things. Angel said he did not believe this and they were going to go to the police station in the morning. Helena agreed and said there were other crimes Pintas was being sought for. She scoffed at Antonio's intention to bring charges against them over the attempt at bankrupting his company. Demon started up the stairs as their argument continued. Angel/Aurora. Another excellent and very thorough recap, Urban! Ah ha! So now it is very clear (almost too clear) that it was Jezabel + Demian who scared the investors about Angel. Not a surprise. Thank goodness Pascual was freed! But he really should rat out Pintas et al.
