El Angel de Aurora #120
Part 1 of 3 (Including deleted scenes and fragments)
Aurora and Jezabel continued to argue about the differences between their sons. Jezabel said that demon had every right to say anything in his house and who always provokes conflict? She accused Angel of destroying her family [Really, Jezabel? You did that all by yourself]. She demanded he return to the poor. He said they may be poor but they were better people than she and her son. Jezabel raised her right hand and Aurora stepped in telling her “Don't you hit my son!” Angel hit Demon, apparently knocking him down.
Elvia told JC that Pintas was hiding close to the Santos home in the barrio. He said to allow the police to do their job. She finally countered with wouldn't he like to take down the man who had raped the woman he loved? He said he wanted to talk to Aurora first. He walked away to do this.
More insults, name-calling, and truths in the Campero mansion as Demon would not let up and Angel called him out over the house he gave to Vicki and the evictions. Jezabel took her arrogant hellspawn aside telling him he did not need Aurora's love because he had her. Aurora accused her of always filling his head with hate and called her a lousy mother. She and Angel walked out of the library. Demon looked at her and she told him to shut up and calm down. She planned to kill not only Angel but also Aurora. He did not like that.
Helena found her notebook and Antonio asked if she would be present whn he proposes to Aurora. She agreed, happy for their happiness. They hugged.
Angel was asking himself why he always fell for Demon's games. Aurora did not see violence as a solution but understood. He was disappointed in himself because he had promised Vicki and God he would fix this and had failed. Aurora told him how happy she was to have him in her house and that they will find a way a way to have him and Demon live in peace [Aurora, you have to stop playing Nellie Forbush]. They hugged. Angel said he had hit the jackpot in getting two mothers.
Helena was happy for her dad and Aurora finally being happy together. He said “and you and Angel” to which she said they were over. She did not want to cry over this anymore o that her child will only know happiness. Antonio said that he would be the most doting grandfather to it.
The police looked at Pintas' digs but could not determine whose blood it was without the lab report. It was listed as occupied by Juventino Macias. They received an anonymous phone call. The phone was unregistered and they couldn't identify the caller. It seemed that every time anyone got close to him he escapes. JC thanked the detective and shook hand with him. Elvia did the same. She thought to herself that Pintas escaped, but not for long.
Morning
The Lunch Crew plus Pepe were in reception with Esperanza telling him to be careful as she didn't want to be a premature widow. Jezabel came in and motioned for Aquiles and Pepe to enter her office. Demon went into his and closed the door. Aquiles introduced Pepe but it didn't go very well. The others outside in reception were worried.
Pepe was hired, oddly enough, and walked out of Jezabel's office, leaving Aquiles there. The music box became the topic of conversation. Jezabel wanted to blame Cassandra for the disappearance of the original, but Aquiles said she didn't do it. He had no idea there was anything hidden in it. The medical document that Antonio was asking about was mentioned. Jezabel said not to mention it to him again. They agreed to meet that night.

Part 2 of 3
Antonio and Helena arrived. The public proposal went badly. In addition to the fact that his first proposal was during a dinner party at her father's mansion and it all went to hell, this time JC arrived just in time. It was awkward as hell with Antonio welcoming him knowing that he was going to live in Las Flores and saying he could help with the wedding.
Jezabel opened the locked desk drawer wondering what happened to the USB drive. She flashed back to seeing Aquiles and Glorio in her office and their questions about her destroying Carlos' self-esteem. She had turned both of them out of the company for that. Second flashback was to Patricia being in her office offering to burn it. She wondered about the duplicate box.
JC went into the conference room, Helena went off to get some work done, and Antonio fumbled his way through the rest. Aurora stopped Cassandra to talk to her.
In the supply room Aquiles told the others that Pepe was hired as Jezabel's chauffeur. He then mentioned the broken music box and whether there was anything in it. Maggie flashed back to when that happened and the USB drive was on the floor. It was finally in Rolando's hands. Th new girl came in and put something on the shelf so the conversation stopped.
Aurora talked with Cassandra, first to console her on the loss of her pregnancy, then about her future at the company. Later she announced to the staff that Cassandra hd been promoted to HR Director. Jezabel didn't like this one bit and slammed her office door.
Antonio asked Angel what was up with him and the two sisters. Angel admitted loving Helena but would not talk about why he had not broken with Briana. Antonio was very disappointed [He looked 10 years older in this scene].
Pintas was still unconscious after (what most of us hope was botched) surgery. And dreaming of being married to Vicki and acknowledged by Angel as his father. His image in the dream was in black and white while Vicki, Angel, and Anita were in full color. He woke up from this saying “Mi Angel del barrio, tu eres mi hijo. Y te va a recuperar, a como de lugar,” [In your dreams, maldito!]. Vami ans one of Edgar's thugs were in attendance.
Cassandra thanked Aurora who had just given her her new office. Cassandra was worried about Jezabel's reaction but Aurora said not to worry and started to talk about her new responsibilities. Before she began Cassandra told her about the burner phone she once saw in Jezabel's purse and answered. The same male voice appeared again on this phone. She told Aurora something was going on behind her back but didn't know what. Aurora said Jezabel will answer for this after a cleansing of the company.
Vampi removed the breathing mask and told Pintas he will have to pay for his meds if he is to survive. He added that he was expected to die not long thereafter. Pintas said he had two missions in life: to destroy Jezabel and to recover Angel.
Vampi had to stop him from getting up too soon; it would be a while before he could evade police. He wiped Pintas' forehead as the creep told him about his dream. Vampi was – unlike his boss – realistic about the dream, saying “He will never love you.” Pintas spoke of Angel wanting a family and now that both parents were dead... but Vampi told him otherwise and further that they were now in Aurora's mansion.
Helena had an ultrasound and was told she was at risk of miscarriage due to the high stress in her life.
Pintas was not pleased that Pascual survived. He was determined to fix that.
Glorio was afraid of Aquiles being in danger, certain that Jezabel was a killer. He thought of Aquiles as a brother.
Cassandra showed Maggie her new office. They talked about the guys.

Pascual tried to repair the broken frame of Vicki's photo. He told Carmelita it was deliberately damaged. Anita didn't want to return to the barrio in spite of Jezabel and her hellspawn. She loved Aurora. She had promised Vicki to take care of them. And there were rumors about Pintas and kidnapping. Pascual did not want to talk about that.
Helena and Esperanza talked about the future. Esperanza had confidence in Helena that she could raise her child alone. Helena asked her to be the godmother. She accepted.
JC, Antonio, and Aurora discussed the case against Jezabel and Demon. They didn't have enough proof of unethical behaviour on Demon's part to remove the shares that made him the majority shareholder. Aurora told them that she needed both of them to fight Demon and Jezabel.
Jezabel went to Maggie's house with a decoy gift for Rolando who was at that point under the care of a neighbor. She introduced herself and said that Maggie was one of the best employees in her office. The box contained a military-looking tank. She asked if he liked it and he said Yes. She asked if he remembered the music box. He nodded.
Aurora then told the men about the cell phone in Jezabel's possession. Antonio shared what Aquiles told him about the medical document and JC gave his information about where they thought Pintas was hiding, Antonio said that all this likely points to Jezabel's responsibility in the events 30 years ago in Las Flores.

Angel/Aurora. Excellent and very complete recap, Urban! "arrogant hellspawn"--love it! Was what the doctor told Helena about a possible miscarriage foreshadowing? Even if the baby is Demian's it would be very sad.
Angel / Aurora #120
The foetus is Demon's; the one sex act between Helena and Angel was too long ago. This could be a mirror situation of Aurora's if Pintas is the sperm donor of Angel. He is nothing like Pintas and if Angel ends up raising Demon's bio-child he will be nothing like Demon.
My apologies for so much lateness. 121 will be posted within the hour. I was getting concerned about losing comments because of this.

[DS] Continuing from the previous episode's last scene, Antonio said that Fabrizio had similar suspicions. No proof yet, but they had to get Pintas.
Helena was unsteady on her feet as Angel came out of his office. He and Esperanza got her to sit down, but Demon appeared and led her into his office.
Rolando was playing with the toy Jezabel gave him, saying he could forget all about the music box. She pulled out a chocolate bar for him. As he was about to open it the babysitting neighbor stopped him, saying he needed permission from his mother. Jezabel asked to talk to him,
Angel entered Demon's office and Helena got up, fed up with both of them and saying that neither of them deserved her tears. She accused both of them of manipulating her with promises of love. As she walked out she said they could kill each other for all she cared but for neither to come after her again.[/DS]
JC told Aurora that everything would be resolved before his departure. Helena came in to get Antonio. He got up to join her but asked Aurora to not speak to Jezabel until they speak to Aquiles and Glorio. He kissed her and said he's see her that night. JC started to leave after him but Aurora asked him to stay and talk.
JC suspected her motives, such as playing with his feelings. He went through the list of them. He said his only motive for leaving was the inability to stop loving her. When she denied his accusations he tried persuading her to leave with him. He told her he loved her and could not watch her marry Antonio and live with him.
Rolando told Jezabel Aquiles gave him the music box. He then gave it to Anita and it fell and broke. Aquiles started to fix it but he thought his mother threw it away. He only kept the USB thinking it had music on it. She asked if anyone saw it. He explained that Patricia looked, said it had a virus, and took it, saying she'd bring him another. Jezabel was shocked but said nothing. [DS] He asked Jezabel if she had more chocolate and she gave him the other one, which was immediately confiscated by the neighbor. Jezabel flashed back to a conversation in her office with Aquiles in which he said she was not responsible for Carlos' death. She then thought them all idiots who deserve the same ending as Carlos.
[DS] JC said to Aurora that she loved him and not Antonio. She objected to them both telling her what her feelings were. She didn't want to lose him but could not leave with him. He left the conference room and she sat at the table and cried. Luis was just outside and saw that something wasn't right. JC said “Let's go home.”
Antonio and Helena were in the parking lot talking about Aurora's non-answer to Antonio's proposal. Helena thought it was a normal answer in view of what happened in the past. He wasn't sure if it was that or current feelings about himself vs JC, who appeared with Luis and heard some of this. They began arguing about who Aurora loved so Helena and Luis had to tell them to stop acting like adolescents.

Elvia called Jezabel insisting they meet at Edgar's bar that night. It was urgent. She was on the verge of telling Aurora the whole truth. [The biggest mistake ever] Jezabel said the next day.
Angel told Aurora he had lost Helena forever. He could not break up with Briana because she loved him but he confessed to not loving her. She was confused about her own situation. They continued this conversation later at home when she confessed to loving both Antonio and JC. Angel was sure that she would soon decide. [/DS]
Elvia talked to Linette who asked why she was there. Elvia told her she was to meet with Jezabel to talk business. Linette did not get that she would deal with Jezabel or Pintas. Linette said she was there for reasons having nothing to do with any investigation. In short, she was in love with Antonio whom Aurora took away from her. [She sounded paranoid in the extreme]. She would do anything to get him back.
[DS] Jezabel looked at her left hand and cursed the condition it was in. It was curled up and causing her pain. She put on the glove and grit her teeth.
Luis and JC did some packing. Both acknowledged the danger to Aurora with Pintas at large. Luis wondered whether Pintas had anything to do with his kidnapping. However JC told him to keep packing and they would soon be out of Mexico.
Linette cried in sympathy but told Elvia “What you feel isn't love; it's obsession.” “Love is obsession, intrigue, and a fight for everything for the person one loves,” Elvira replied. Linette confessed that the only motherly love she ever knew was that of Teté and she had fallen in love with Edgar at first sight. She had run away from a wicked stepfather. She had come to believe that women like herself did not have the right to love or have a family. She had never told him she loved him and would still give her life for him.
Luis told his father that if Aurora didn't love him it was time to pack his suitcase. He personally didn't like leaving Mané but family comes first. JC said that Aurora didn't love him and he was just a friend who helped her out of the doldrums. Luis had the opposite opinion. He then told JC what he neglected to tell the police, that one of the kidnappers said to him that it was “just a joke”. The lightbulb burned bright as JC said “It was Jezabel.”
Jezabel and Demon were on their way out; she wanted him with her. She told Aurora they were going out to dine “because this family is filth.” Aurora agreed and asked that they stop fighting. She hugged her, while thinking “I will find out what you're hiding because I believe you are the cause of my misery.” Aurora brought up the festival in Las Flores but both Jezabel and Demon had the gall to suggest that Aurora invite the barrio people and that she now belonged with them. Demon held up a photo of himself, Jezabel, and Aurora and said “because this doesn't exist.” Aurora still tried the peacemaker approach, thinking that it was Pintas that shouted at her outside the office building. Jezabel said they'd talk later and left with Demon behind her. She was still thinking about Pintas in Las Flores. [/DS]

Linette said she was there for reasons having nothing to do with any investigation. In short, she was in love with Antonio whom Aurora took away from her. [She sounded paranoid in the extreme]. She would do anything to get him back.
[DS] Jezabel looked at her left hand and cursed the condition it was in. It was curled up and causing her pain. She put on the glove and grit her teeth.
Luis and JC did some packing. Both acknowledged the danger to Aurora with Pintas at large. Luis wondered whether Pintas had anything to do with his kidnapping. However JC told him to keep packing and they would soon be out of Mexico.
Linette cried in sympathy but told Elvia “What you feel isn't love; it's obsession.” “Love is obsession, intrigue, and a fight for everything for the person one loves,” Elvira replied. Linette confessed that the only motherly love she ever knew was that of Teté and she had fallen in love with Edgar at first sight. She had run away from a wicked stepfather. She had come to believe that women like herself did not have the right to love or have a family. She had never told him she loved him and would still give her life for him.
Luis told his father that if Aurora didn't love him it was time to pack his suitcase. He personally didn't like leaving Mané but family comes first. JC said that Aurora didn't love him and he was just a friend who helped her out of the doldrums. Luis had the opposite opinion. He then told JC what he neglected to tell the police, that one of the kidnappers said to him that it was “just a joke”. The lightbulb burned bright as JC said “It was Jezabel.”
Jezabel and Demon were on their way out; she wanted him with her. She told Aurora they were going out to dine “because this family is filth.” Aurora agreed and asked that they stop fighting. She hugged her, while thinking “I will find out what you're hiding because I believe you are the cause of my misery.” Aurora brought up the festival in Las Flores but both Jezabel and Demon had the gall to suggest that Aurora invite the barrio people and that she now belonged with them. Demon held up a photo of himself, Jezabel, and Aurora and said “because this doesn't exist.” Aurora still tried the peacemaker approach, thinking that it was Pintas that shouted at her outside the office building. Jezabel said they'd talk later and left with Demon behind her. She was still thinking about Pintas in Las Flores. [/DS]

Rolando was ready for school. Aquiles asked him what happened when Jezabel came over. He explained and Aquiles became afraid.
Angel and Briana were in an office in the hospital. She said that if the news was good they would have called. She pulled the victim card – abandonment – saying she needed him more than ever. She reminded him of their engagement. He held her and said he would not abandon her. Dr Liar came in to give her the bad news: Cancer. [Medical report too small to read] As Angel opened the envelope she turned her head to look at his reaction to the report.
[DS] Aquiles asked Rolando about Patricia and the kid got annoyed. Glorio was concerned about what Patricia would say to Jezabel. Pepe mentioned the possibility of Patricia giving the USB to Jezabel. Maggie wondered whether the USB contained a confession. She suggested that Rolando go out to play.
Briana went to the waiting room and told Angel that they took blood for a biopsy. Again, the plea for him to be at her side. He said he didn't want her to suffer as his mother had. She said she didn't want anyone to know, which he didn't agree with. He said her family should know. [/DS]
Edgar saw Helena and Antonio in a restaurant. Antonio questioned him on the bankruptcy thing and Demon and Jezabel. He confessed he had helped Demon with the videos. “Angel never deceived you.”
[DS] Aurora was in the library as she flashed back to the taking of baby Gabriel and being locked in a room. Jezabel was an accomplice because she did not let her out. Later Jezabel had told her that their father made threatened her if she disobeyed him. Pascual had called her a liar and Aurora realized it was true. She turned around and JC was there. He returned as a friend and to talk to Jezabel.
Edgar laughed at how easy it was to manipulate a person with a simple video. He said that Angel's values were used against him to enable Demon to be the puppetmaster. They used his biggest weakness: Vicki's illness. [/DS]
Aurora and JC talked about Jezabel and Pintas. He pointed out the difficulty of connecting the two until he could be found. She told him Jezabel had been their father's accomplice. She was not going to let her get away with this. JC told her Luis' suspicions.
At Edgar's bar Jezabel told Demon he was not to get involved. She was going to settle things and told him that if he was afraid to wait for her outside. He said he was not. She said that e would learn how she would get things out of the way.

Great second recap of the day, Urban. You are amazing. Having watched today's and yesterday's episode, I know that things are going to get worse for some of the characters and that we are justified in not trusting the characters we don't trust. I suspect that if Univision stopped cutting up episodes that would interfere with their plans for whatever show is supposed to follow Angel.

Elvia came out of her meeting with Linette and pointed out she would not want witnesses. “And what if there are?” Jezabel asked as she prevented Demon from leaving.
[DS] Briana begged Angel to say nothing of her illness. He could not understand; they should be helping her. She said she didn't want them feeling sorry for her. “You are my family,” she said. He pointed out that she had her parents and Helena. He also didn't like secrets, saying that Antonio would not forgive one like this. She would have to tell her mother. [/DS]
Jezabel told Elvia she could talk; Demon would not be indiscreet. Elvia asked Jezabel to help get rid of Aurora. Demon asked if she was crazy.
Antonio said that someone took advantage of Angel's mother's illness while he was in jail. Helena asked who would do such a thing. She pointed out to Edgar that he was always Demon's right hand man. Edgar explained that Demon never took the word No. He was always looking to separate her from Angel, even making her believe that her father objected. Demon knew of the love between Angel and Helena. The video was edited to make it look like Angel took money to break up with her. Demon had deceived her.
[DS] JC shared the lightbulb moment with Aurora. She got it with regard to Pascual but could not think of any motive for kidnapping Luis. Both thought Briana's finding Pascual was strange. She told him that Angel changed his mind about marrying Briana and she had a bad premonition about this. She did not think that Pascual had gotten lost. He entered at that moment and told her she was right.
Edgar rose to leave but Antonio wasn't letting him off the hook. He wanted the whole truth, asking him how he could do something so vile. Edgar replied that he isn't their servant keeping their secrets; they could go to hell for all he cared. He admitted knowing much about Demon but was not ready to reveal. Antonio backed off, then left. Edgar said to himself “You will know in good time.”
Pascual told Aurora he had to say that because Angel had so many difficulties in his life. He wanted Angel to get married and have a family with Briana because he deserved peace. JC excused himself and left. Aurora and Pascual sat down and she asked what happened, telling him that Luis heard and recognized his voice. He tried to lie his way out of this but Aurora interrupted him and said that Jezabel and Demon were behind it. Pascual did not relent and repeated the lie of hanging out with friends.
Edgar got a call telling him that Jezabel, Demon, and Elvia were in the bar waiting for him. He said he was on his way.
Pascual said Angel had to marry Briana and leave the area. When Aurora objected to this dictum he said that Pintas would come after him. He denied that Pintas kidnapped him but said he could turn up any moment “and you know what he's capable of.” Aurora said he would pay but Angel can't marry Briana because he doesn't love her. Antonio and Helena went to the Campero mansion. Antonio told Aurora what thy found out. Angel and Briana arrived and Briana fainted – or pretended to – as Angel started to explain the hospital visit.
Elvia wrestled Jezabel to the floor. Linette pulled Elvia off Jezabel. Jezabel took out her pistol and shot her twice in the shoulder [Second bullet could have gotten the jugular or aorta]. It looked like she had some difficulty shooting. Demon looked shocked, even saying “No, Mama!” Linette went over to Elvia and told Jezabel Elvia was dead. Jezabel shot Linette in the side. He kept repeating “Mataste.” Linette ran to Elvia and said “She's dead.” Jezabel said to her baby devil “You see? This is how I end things in the way.” Linette cursed Jezabel, saying this will cause problems for Edgar. Demon asked how she could do this. Jezabel answered that it's difficult the first time but after that it's the only way to remove what's in the way. She said to rot and shot Linette in the side. Demon looked like he was about to vomit. Jezabel made a few sarcastic comments. Demon picked up her purse. Jezabel wiped her fingerprints off the gun and left it in Elvia's right hand. She pointed to Elvia's cell phone. Demon picked it up, wiped it off, and kicked it away.
Briana was on the couch. She came to, claiming she was cold. Helena looked at her, thinking she was faking. Angel asked her to call a doctor.
JC gave Luis his passport. The chauffeur was waiting outside. JC was leaving to forget Aurora. Mané felt bad for JC. Luis decided to call Aurora to tell her his father was going to the airport.
Aurora told Carmelita to make tea for Briana. Helena believed Briana was faking. Aurora as thinking the same. The day that Angel had changed his mind Briana turned up with Pascual. Helena told her about Pascual favoring Briana for Angel and Aurora said that he had been behaving a bit strangely since his return. Aurora believed that Briana was capable of this scheme but questioned why Pascual was protecting her.
Angel told Antonio that Briana had the same disease as his mother and he hoped this was not the case. Antonio wasn't quite believing this either. Angel said that the doctor still had tests to do and now he was reliving what he went through with his mother. He talked about being with her in her last days, that his father would want him to marry Briana and that his mother in heaven would approve. He was about to end it before Pascual came home but could not now. Antonio mentioned that Helena's mother also died of a horrible disease, then told Angel he was very noble to stick with Briana through it. He then told Angel what he just found out from Edgar. Angel knew this was caprices of Demon who saw Helena as a trophy. Antonio agreed, saying that Helena wants nothing to do with him and he personally will see to it to keep Demon away from Helena and the baby. Angel also wanted to protect them. Antonio told him that since his love for Helena cannot be hidden it would be a mistake to marry Briana. But that would have to be his decision.

She finally told her that the house was hers – inherited from her mother – so she would not be allowed to live there. Briana called her mother's number and left a voicemail to pick her up.
Antonio and Angel went downstairs and were told Aurora was not at home. Helena came down and told Antonio that Briana gave a great performance. The doctor arrived to see her. He told Antonio that they didn't have all the information and therefore need tests. They went upstairs. Angel told Helena Aurora had gone out.
Aurora drove to the airport, flashing back to her past with JC.

Antonio told Jezabel and Demon off. Demon said they could not keep him away from his child. Helena told Demon he was not going to be allowed near the baby because of his violence and went on about his ignorance of love and his moves to separate her from Angel. Demon tried gaslighting her again. Antonio told him he made a mistake confiding too much in someone like Edgar. Helena told them they will pay for all they've done.
