Venganza #80
Steve, my library has shows through 83 and it definitely seems to be winding down. Yay. I'm ready for the finale.
Wedding reception on the sound. Nothing went awry. Brenda caught the bouquet. All the usual players were there except Paty, Mirna and Fernanda of course.
Paty is upset she wasn't invited to the wedding, she was practically a part of the family for a few months. Months pass, 6 were mentioned which makes the fact that Erika was showing a baby bump at the wedding mean she has had the longest pregnancy in telenovela history. Erika and Fermin tell Paty it's time she finds a job, her unemployment is about to run out. She has a plan. Catch another rich guy but do it smarter this time.
Fernanda continues to work at the firm and each month her belly grows and she passes Francisco and Elisa in the hall holding hands as she caresses her burgeoning belly. Looks like she wants to put someone else in charge of her shares and just collect dividends and get out of town
Brenda and Marcelo formalize their relationship, they are getting married.
Fermin and Claudia give Alonso 1 weeks notice. He's moving to Monterey with Francisco and Elisa, et al. She is getting married and becoming a homemaker. She and Ignacio are turning the knot also. Alonso's solution to no maid or cook, Tania will do it.
Poor Tania is miserable. Moni advises her to get a divorce. Sebastian and Moni are pregnant. They are so happy.
Gabriel dies by lethal injection tomorrow. Elisa and Ana visit him and forgive him. He calls Brenda to apologize. She will never forgive him and she wants to be there to see him die. Marcelo will go with her for support.
Erika's water breaks at the school. Ana and Joseph are there with her. Fermin is called and he and Claudia rush of the mansion out to get her.
Marcelo, Francisco and Elisa are in the condo. Finally Francisco pulls out the cassette player to dance some more with Elisa. As expected, the conversation with Fernanda and Manuela was recorded. they now know it was all her.

jefa - Episode 10 part 1 of 2
Since no one is apparently doing a recap today and I unexpectedly have time, here's a bare bones account of the episode.
The doctor has told Gloria that Daniel is in a coma and has diabetes. Gloria finds this hard to believe. The doctor asks whether he has shown any changes lately, such as increased thirst or hunger. Gloria recognizes that he has been more hungry, but she thought that was normal for a child his age. He also tells her the hospital has very limited resources. She will have to provide the insulin and related items. She asks whether Daniel will wake up from his coma. The doctor simply replies, "I hope so, señora."
Meanwhile, Sebastián accuses Sonia of being a murderer.
Gloria has no money to pay for all the diabetes-related items Daniel will need. She tells her new friend Yadira that she has to get a job in the salon to pay for all these things. Yadira tells her that the salon doesn't pay well, ahd she has a side hustle to supply more money.
Gloria calls Sebas and tells him about the diabetes diagnosis and her need for money to pay for all the medications. Sebas tells her he'll find a way to help her.
Meanwhile, the "doctor" tells Maribel that Olga's sister is dying, there's no oxygen reading in her brain.
Torres and his sidekick are also in the hospital. They want to question narco Ivan and get him to tell them who his fellow narcos are. The doctor says he can question Ivan, but only for 10 minutes. Of course, Torres and sidekick are not the only ones wanting to talk to Ivan. One of his fellow narcos is there, and while Torres is not in the room. the fellow narco (whose name I don't know) tells Ivan that if he talks, he dies.
Sebas gets rough with Sonia. He tells her he needs 100,000 pesos or else he'll kill her. She says she doesn't have access to Jacinto's private funds.
He's not convinced. He needs the money by tomorrow, and in cash, nothing that can be traced. If she doesn't comply, she'll go to prison with her corrupt friends. "Unless, of course, I kill you first."
The "doctor" tells Maribel that Olga's sister is dead,and there's nothing he can do. She gets VERY upset and needs her bald accomplice, Perron, to calm her down. She tells Perron to dump the body in a ditch, or, if the ditch is full. dig a grave.
Torres questions Ivan, but Ivan refuses to talk. Both Torres and his sidekick leave Ivan's room. They must not have watched many crime movies. You never leave unattended the hospital room of someone you want to question and can't afford to lose. Not even to get a cup of coffee.

Olga overhears some of what Maribel says to Perron. She confronts Maribel, who tells her that her sister is not dead, but she has been taken to the hospital. Olga leaves, shaken. Maribel tells Perron perhaps he will need to dig a grave big enough for two.
Cacundo, the bright chemistry student, gives a television interview to a reporter. He says Karen isn't the only student who is missing. Several of the brightest chemistry students in the city have disappeared. Oops, Duque sees the interview and tells another baddie that he wants to know everything about the student who was on TV, including his family.
Sonia tells Duque she wants him to kill her husband, Sebastián. Duque replies that he'll spare her from having to get a divorce. She'll be a widow.
Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Gloria manages to grab Torres's gun. She asks him whether Deque sent him. "Are you one of his hit men?" she asks.
Three policemen come to the hospital because of a report of a woman with a gun. They arrest Gloria, but Torres identifies himself, explains to one of them that Gloria is innocent and shouldn't be arrested. So they let her go.
Sebas tells Matilde about Daniel and says that he (Sebas) is getting 100,000 pesos tomrrow and needs to get them to Gloria.
We learn that Ivan is dead.

156.) So, Gabriel's getting the lethal injection eh? Not shocked since FL is a hardcore death penalty state. Three del Pino's dead (Maria Luisa, Alfredo, soon-to-be Gabriel) which leaves Slick Alonso, Elisa, Ana & Sebastian as the only del Pino's left.
157.) Crazy Goldie Locks' belly getting larger & larger: I wonder if she'll plot one final scheme to go after both Francisco & Elisa in the final days of this Telenovela.
158.) Paty needs a REAL JOB. Something tells me she'll be plotting to mooch off of another wealthy dude soon, which makes me wonder if she might inherit Crazy Goldie Locks' seduction schemes LOL.
159.) Congratulations to Sebastian & Monica on their upcoming baby.
160.) Claudia telling Slick Alonso that she's quitting her job & marrying Ignacio. Tania will be the maid, cook, cleanup person, etc.,
161.) Fermin moving to Monterrey with Francisco, Elisa, Marcelo, Brenda, etc., including Erika & their baby of course wasn't surprising.
162.) I wonder if Ana & Joseph will stay in FL? Will they move to Monterrey too?

It's driving me nuts that Mathilde has to sneak around to do anything to help her daughter. Every time something comes up, in this case Sebas letting her know about her grandson's medical condition, one of the sisters pounces and grills her.

My TV thought the episode was on and recorded it. It was half of one of their reality shows and half of what I'd already seen, so I don't think there's anything to recap.

Venganza #81
The show was delayed by 30 minutes because Telemundo was covering the presidential address. It did start with them listening to the tape so what I saw was from the beginning. I'm not sure if they aired the complete episode though as my DVR stops at 1 a.m.
Well Elisa once again disappointed me. She wants Francisco to wait till the baby is born before turning her in. That baby won't have a clue where it's birthplace us, and if Francisco is the dad he will immediately gain custody. Just stupid.
Everyone is learning about Fernanda but being sworn to secrecy. They turn the evidence over to lawyers Ignacio recommended as Brenda's lawyers are also Fernanda's.
Erika is in the hospital having a drawn out labor. Ignacio, Paty, Claudia are in the waiting room., waiting of course.
Mirna turns on Fernanda. She chews her out for not turning her life around and so Mirna is leaving and starting a new life somewhere else.
Fernanda calls her Dallas lawyer Richards. She doesn't care what it costs, she wants Mirna dead
Tania gets slapped by Alonso after complaining about being the household drudge. He lets her know he knows she is the one who mutilated him.
Elisa tells Ana about the tape and that not only did Fern kill Manue, she also killed their mother. Ana is finally vindicated. Elisa apologizes for doubting her. Ana says I don't blame you, I also doubted myself and thought maybe I had been guilty.
I think that was all of it. Steve, being an hour behind, perhaps you saw a full hours worth of the show. I expected the execution to happen, but so far mine and Tues have been 1 day in TN land. I imagine this day could last 4 episodes.

Looks like Mirna will be joining the Body Count soon. Guess it's too late for Francisco & Co., to save Mirna. Oh well: Mirna messed around & will find out the hard way.

Well I finally found the complete version and I have more to add in no particular order....
Francisco confronts Fernanda with the truth. She says Eugeni made her do it. Then she tries I was crazy. She continues to try to get him to go back with her. Obviously your grandma didn't mean that much to you, you abandoned her for ten years ( I actually agree with this part he should have at least called her from Mexico. He would not have been extradited for statutory rape im sure). At any rate, he hates her and wants nothing to do with her and he still doubts the baby is his. She threatens to kill herself but he isn't falling for that. He walks away and she hits him with a vase. He falls to the floor. She runs to a drawer and pulls out a gallon ziplock style bag and does the suffocation attempt on him. He tries to get free but another stupid guy that does not rip the flimsy bag.
Erika had a baby boy. Fermin wonders why he hasn't heard from Francisco.
Ana , against Elisa's wishes, tells Alonso and Tania that Fernanda was the assassin and there is proof.
Moni and Sebastian arrive for a dinner party at Marcelo and Brenda's. They are also informed of the tape and Fernanda's guilt.
Mirna is still alive. Not sure about Gabriel. Alonso and Tania thought their dad faces initially was do to his execution.

She runs to a drawer and pulls out a gallon ziplock style bag and does the suffocation attempt on him. He tries to get free but another stupid guy that does not rip the flimsy bag.
Erika had a baby boy. Fermin wonders why he hasn't heard from Francisco.
Ana , against Elisa's wishes, tells Alonso and Tania that Fernanda was the assassin and there is proof.
Moni and Sebastian arrive for a dinner party at Marcelo and Brenda's. They are also informed of the tape and Fernanda's guilt.
Mirna is still alive. Not sure about Gabriel. Alonso and Tania thought their dad faces initially was do to his execution.
hi, it's probably just me but I had trouble finding this page, my browser is bookmarked to go to the telemundo pages and this page isn't there. I'm thinking it might be because the 3 labels are read together as one instead of being separated by commas like on other pages, and thanks for doing such a wonderful job, I hate to say anything.

My personal thoughts on last night's episode.
169.) Tania & Mirna getting uppity by messing around & now they're going to FIND OUT the hard way. Right on cue, Slick Alonso was going to Slick Alonso by slapping Tania hard. Still don't feel sorry for her.
170.) Monica advising Tania to divorce Slick Alonso. Only way I see Alonso getting his Karma is if he gets arrested for attempting to rape Monica AGAIN & attempting to kill Tania, etc.,
171.) Mirna: You're about to become a huge liability to Crazy Goldie Locks' sinister plans in the closing stretch, so WATCH YOUR BACK.
172.) Francisco confronting Crazy Goldie Locks all half-cocked like an IDIOT.

The police come to the rescue. Now Fernanda is caught in the attempted murder of Francisco. He's fine, just a bump on the head but a hospital visit is in order to check him over, and for evidence.
Fermin wonders why Francisco hasn't reached out. Francisco asks Marcelo to tell him what happened and that he will see them tomorrow, and congratulations on the baby.
Fernanda is booked but pleads the fifth. Richards is called, she tells him to get on a plane and help her.
Elisa Francisco Marcelo and Ignacio are at the police station.. Mirna comes to see Fernanda, but she won't see her. Francisco accuses her of being an accomplice which she denied. She claims the Eugenio lie was all she knew.
Fernanda insists the tape is AI. She is fingerprinted and booked. In the past down the police woman discovers her false belly. She isn't pregnant. Flashback, she lost the baby at 4 months because of the drugs she was given.
Mirna also claims she didn't know about the false pregnancy.
Gabriel is executed. Ana is there as a representative of the family if not me then who? Marcelo, Brenda a priest and a lawyer or guard are also in the room as the fatal injection is given.
The funeral occurs. We see the aftermath at the cemetery. They are off to see the new baby, Erika has been discharged.
Fernanda wants Richards to help her escape, she will make him a rich man. She alludes he did it for Eugenio, was this after she tried to kill him or is he still alive?
Erika is home and it's party time for the new baby. His name is Francisco Marcelo...Ana gives a toast.
Alonso is feeling better. It's time for Tania to pay the piper and make papa happy. Gross....
A few weeks later Fernanda's trial begins. The del Pino family are all there, and Mirna. Mirna in an earlier scene spoke with Richards. I'm not sure if she told him she knew what Fernanda had done, Fernanda in split scenes tells him Mirna knew everything. I guess the trial will clarify that.
One more episode. This really has been a dud of a show as far as the Elisa Francisco storyline. Ana definitely had the most interesting story. Joseph wasn't shown in this episode, unless he was at Erika's and I missed it.

182.) I KNEW Crazy Goldie Locks wasn't pregnant, I mean there was something off about that storyline. Wasn't surprised that Ana giving Goldie Locks those drugs months earlier was the likely cause of losing the baby.
183.) I still think Eugenio is alive somehow: Since we're in the final episode for this evening, something tells me he will launch one final attack against the remaining del Pino's.
184.) Mirna: You need to watch your back because Crazy Goldie Locks wants you DEAD. Glad that Francisco & Co., scolded Mirna for being complicit in the crimes of Goldie Locks & Eugenio, etc.,
185.) RIH Gabriel del Pino: You deserve to burn in Hell along with Alfredo for killing Brenda's family members.
186.) Ana, Marcelo & Brenda were in attendance at Gabriel's execution: I noticed that Brenda stood up & watched Gabriel getting the lethal injection: Now Brenda's Long Nightmare is FINALLY over & she can move on with Marcelo.
187.) Francisco, Elisa, Claudia, Fermin, Slick Alonso & Tania are notified via text message from Marcelo about Gabriel's executed.

Gloria goes to Daniel’s bedside. You’re going to recover, she tells him, open your eyes and I’ll handle the rest.
Torres asks Yadira, do you know him (Ivancito)? Yadira denies it. She reacted because it made her nervous seeing a dead body. He shoos her out of there. But before she goes, she warns him, I don’t know what your deal is with Gloria but be careful. If you hurt those I care about, you’ll pay for it.
Olga packs up to leave the salon. Her coworkers are worried about her. They question why she’s going out the back. Olga says Maribel is giving her a ride. [Yes, to the ditch with Caro.]
Yadira calls the salon and asks to speak with a stylist, Susana. Ivancito is dead. I saw his body at the hospital. I’m telling you because he was close to your BF, Bolillo [like the bread?].
Bolillo (Ivancito’s killer) shows up at the salon. Susana tells him what he already knows firsthand.
Matilde returns to the house. She’s distraught. She explains Gloria and Daniel’s situation to Ernestina. She’s meeting Sebas tomorrow. She makes Erna promise not to tell Jacinto or Laura. Sonia interrupts them and wants to see Jacinto.
Daniel wakes up.
Torres and Marco look at security video. They spot Bolillo and think he’s their guy. Torres tells Marco to take the footage to the station. He’s going to stay to investigate Gloria and her possible involvement with narcos.
Upon his arrival at the salon, Susana tells Bolillo that Yadira called with the news about Ivancito. She’s been at the hospital with a friend and her son. The other ladies give condolences to Bolillo. He asks if Maribel is at the salon and heads to the backroom. The ladies wonder about the whole situation.
Maribel gives Olga a sedative. Or two. Or three. Those pills take immediate effect. Maribel injects Olga with something. I guess that’s goodbye Olga.
I don’t remember the housekeeper’s name. She’s upset with Facundo giving the interview. She asks him to be careful. He asks for her help.
A doctor gives Torres info on Daniel Cruz. Yep, that’s the son of his colleague, JJ. The doc says Daniel had diabetes and has been under a lot of stress.
Gloria laments her and Daniel’s fate. She needs a job. She needs normality. Yadira says she will help and offers her phone to keep. Torres lurks nearby.

Jacinto won’t give Sonia the 100K even if she begs naked. Why does she want the money anyway? She replies that this is the consequence of getting divorced. She says Sebas threatened to kill her. Now she has to set him up. I’ll show him the money, but he won’t get to spend it. He’s going to be killed tomorrow. Yuck, she tries to seal the deal with sloppy kisses but his shoulder hurts.
Maribel tells Perron to take Olga. He’s not happy about what’s happened. First Caro, now Olga. Maribel threatens Perron, “vas a ver las flores desde abajo”. You’ll see the flowers from below. Eng. equivalent, you’ll be pushing up daisies. Bolillo asks, what do we tell the others? Maribel replies, they went home because one of them got pregnant. Maribel tells the guys to empty the girls’ apartment. Everyone needs to think they left town on their own.
Bolillo tells Maribel that Ivancito is dead. No witnesses, but Yadira was at the hospital, and she knows. She called Susana to tell her.
Torres and Marco’s investigations now include Ivancito’s murder, the salon, and Gloria and her connections to narcos.
Next day, Yadira brings Gloria a change of clothes. Torres is still lurking nearby.
Sebas, in a rental car, meets Sonia in the parking garage. She hands over a bag. He asks her to transfer the money to his bag. He suspects a tracker might be planted in hers. He puts the bag in the trunk and asks, how do I know Duque’s men won’t shoot me as I leave? He says let’s test that. He takes the money out of the trunk and gets in the elevator. Sonia shouts at the thugs to run upstairs and finish the job.
The elevator door opens. The thugs shoot. It’s just a bag with paper inside.
Sebas heads back down to Sonia. He points his gun—get in the car! He fires a warning shot.
Matilde has a suitcase and sneaks out. Stupid Erna told Luisa. Luisa says, we can’t let mom meet with Gloria.
Sonia pleads with Sebas. She grabs his phone and throws it. He grabs her by the hair and stuffs her in the car. He takes the bag with the real money out of the trunk, and they drive off. Marlin calls Duque. Sebas tricked us. He’s got Sonia and the money. Duque threatens Marlin to find them or else.
Daniel is looking better but still needs to stay in the ICU. Daniel tells his mom he heard her and he also heard his father speaking to him.
We get a flashback to happier family times. A trip they took. Gloria wants to buy land there. JJ says maybe they can do that soon. Daniel tells his dad he wants to be like him. JJ says don’t be like me. Be better. Look out for yourself and your mother. Make her dreams come true. Look around you. Our future is here. Memorize this like a map leading to treasure. [Ah, is the money there?] End flash.
Gloria asks Daniel, he said that it was our future? Yes, Daniel replies, and that there was a large treasure. Gloria realizes that was a coded message. Hmm… she uses the phone to access the pics (from the cloud) that Daniel took on the that trip. That’s it, she exclaims, these pictures will help me find the place and we will get you to a better hospital.
Facundo takes his mom to see the governor. The governor isn’t in. [wait, who is this gov?] Mom asks to make an appointment. No openings until 5 months. Facundo says lives are at stake. No luck. Facundo and mom walk out.

Sebas, in a rental car, meets Sonia in the parking garage. She hands over a bag. He asks her to transfer the money to his bag. He suspects a tracker might be planted in hers. He puts the bag in the trunk and asks, how do I know Duque’s men won’t shoot me as I leave? He says let’s test that. He takes the money out of the trunk and gets in the elevator. Sonia shouts at the thugs to run upstairs and finish the job.
The elevator door opens. The thugs shoot. It’s just a bag with paper inside.
Sebas heads back down to Sonia. He points his gun—get in the car! He fires a warning shot.
Matilde has a suitcase and sneaks out. Stupid Erna told Luisa. Luisa says, we can’t let mom meet with Gloria.
Sonia pleads with Sebas. She grabs his phone and throws it. He grabs her by the hair and stuffs her in the car. He takes the bag with the real money out of the trunk, and they drive off. Marlin calls Duque. Sebas tricked us. He’s got Sonia and the money. Duque threatens Marlin to find them or else.
Daniel is looking better but still needs to stay in the ICU. Daniel tells his mom he heard her and he also heard his father speaking to him.
We get a flashback to happier family times. A trip they took. Gloria wants to buy land there. JJ says maybe they can do that soon. Daniel tells his dad he wants to be like him. JJ says don’t be like me. Be better. Look out for yourself and your mother. Make her dreams come true. Look around you. Our future is here. Memorize this like a map leading to treasure. [Ah, is the money there?] End flash.
Gloria asks Daniel, he said that it was our future? Yes, Daniel replies, and that there was a large treasure. Gloria realizes that was a coded message. Hmm… she uses the phone to access the pics (from the cloud) that Daniel took on the that trip. That’s it, she exclaims, these pictures will help me find the place and we will get you to a better hospital.
Facundo takes his mom to see the governor. The governor isn’t in. [wait, who is this gov?] Mom asks to make an appointment. No openings until 5 months. Facundo says lives are at stake. No luck. Facundo and mom walk out.

Sonia tells Sebas she had no idea about those men. He points his gun at her and shouts at her to shut up. He figured it was a setup, so he made his own plan. We get the explanation and see he prepared a bag with paper and put it in the trunk. Sonia begs him. She asks, what are you going to do with me? He has plans but he’s not telling her yet.
Gloria tries calling Sebas. He doesn’t have his phone.
Yadira tells Gloria she followed the man who was following her. He was with a dead body.
Torres tells the head doctor that they will question his staff, but he also wants the doc’s help. He wants to spread the suspect’s picture (Bolillo) and see if anyone recognizes him. The doc pledges his support.
Torres questions Daniel’s doctor about Daniel and Gloria.
Frantic Sonia grabs at the wheel. They swerve all over the road. Then she starts throwing the money out the window. Sebas has to pull over.
Luisa and Erna arrive at the bus station looking for Matilde. They bicker. Erna wonders if this is for mom’s good or because Laura is still angry at Gloria for stealing JJ.
Sebas gets out to pick up the cash. Sonia jumps into the driver’s seat. He pulls her out of the car and puts her in the trunk. He goes back to collecting the money.
Yadira tells Gloria she knew the man who died. He was friends with Susana, who works with her at the salon. Gloria asks, do you think he (Torres) killed him? Yadira reasons, you saw him with a gun, right? Then you took it to defend yourself. If he’s not a hitman, then he’s a police officer.
Gloria puts it together. Yes, a police officer. That’s why he’s following me. Gloria explains, my husband was a high ranking FGE officer in Tijuana. You wouldn’t believe what the police did after his death. They probably asked him to follow me. That’s why he asked about JJ. Yadira is stunned.
Daniel’s doc explains the situation. The kid needs treatment, and the mother has no money. Torres asks for a favor. Don’t tell Ms. Guzman I’m an FGE agent. It’s an ongoing investigation. The doc agrees.
Torres gets a return call from Tamayo. Torres says he would like to work with him. He asks, can you send me your file on Gloria, Cruz’s widow? I believe she has links to organized crime.
Matilde gets on the bus. Luisa and Erna fib and says they need to give mom her meds. Matilde spots them and takes off out of the rear exit.
Ah, was this the plan? Matilde heads to the parking lot and Sebas is there waiting. The suitcase goes into the back seat, because Sebas has a lot of tools in the trunk. [A big tool called Sonia.] Matilde hops in and they head for the airport.
Torres comes to Gloria bearing gifts. She’s suspicious. It’s insulin for Daniel.
And we are out.
