"AMOR AMARGO" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION
SpanProf, Darcy, UA, Kat in SC, Babacita, & Kirby: Could we be getting closer to a conclusion of this confusing & chaotic Telenovela with all of the Villains upping the ante to the last minute with schemes after schemes ?

Amor amargo. Yep, it's the last week, and I'm sure it will all be wrapped up somehow. I just hope Enrique doesn't kill anyone else---not even creepy Vera.

Joachin didn't search Enrique's house very well. The poor maid was still tied and gagged to a chair in the living room. And now Vera is chained to a toilet in the attic. What was that about her crazy mother that Enrique talked about. Let's throw some weird sh*t in the last week to explain the plot, but not flesh it out. Unless it got cut.
It looked like Gabriela jumped out of the way of Enrique's car but there she is lying as though she is injured or knocked out....

"AMAR AMARGO" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION:
Howdy from the Alamo City CarayCaray Family. Here's my super-short thoughts on this afternoon's episode.
*Gabriela might've gotten knocked out I believe, but she & the baby are still here HORRAY.
*Busted out laughing watching Buji Mags being disgusted of having to mop & clean the floor LOL.
*Nutjob Enrique shoots one of the police officers dead (we can assume) & keeps being so damn slippery with his escaping.... until Joaquin catches up to him & demands that he give up. Nope: Enrique shoots Joaquin & we see Alicia screaming at Enrique that he shot his own biological son.
* Enrique realizes his expletive up & runs away. He calls Scheming Blondie & knowing he's cornered: Offs himself. One less Antagonist.
*Speaking of the remaining Antagonists: We see Whacky Vera becoming completely unhinged & throwing things inside her hospital room. Something tells me she's going to plot one final scheme against Tomas & Gabriela.
*Wondering what will the anvil of Leonor look like ? How will she go down for her crimes against humanity & corruption ?

Steve, thanks for your observations. I don't get how Ofelia, who only showed up a few episodes ago it seems, although perhaps she had some air time during legal work for the business, is so prominent now. Did she really love Enrique so much that she felt his death after she heard the gunshot? Hope the policeman that Enrique shot was also wearing a bullet proof vest and survived. Looking forward to the end of this.

*Bienvenida had a heart attack or some health scare, which alarmed Joaquin & Co., who rushed her to the hospital.
*Nice seeing Gabriela & her sisters with Bienvenida at the hospital, but somewhere along the way, Bienvenida has some flashbacks & decided to get out of the hospital ASAP.
*Assuming Guillermo won't get his Karma anvil ?
*Tomas & Gabriela show up at Leonor's when Bienvenida confronts Buji Leonor.
*While that's going on, Whacky Vera is determined to plot one final scheme. I wonder what she's got cooking up this time ?

Steve I don't have another recap in me. Did 2 others in the early hours. I'm watching the last 1/2 of this currently and my CC's are messed up. Fortunately I can understand the majority of these actors.
Israel met his anvil thanks to leonor. Bienvenida, even though she was totally irate with him when she found out he killed her brother and helped orchestrate Beatriz and Jaime's death, is destroyed to find out Israel is dead. She knows it's Leonor.

Kat in SC: Lots of bombshell revelations today. I also liked the flashback of the late Beatriz telling Buji Leonor off.
I smiled when Israel met his deadly anvil end & now, I'm interested to see what Whacky Vera's anvil will look like.
