TELEMUNDO Y MÁS (#2): Dinastía Casillas, Lejos de Ti y más: Week of December 22, 2025
TELEMUNDO WEEKEND EDITION (continuación)
Here's Page 2 for the week. The current telenovelas are as follows (all times are Eastern Standard Time):
- 9-10PM - Dinastía Casillas*
- 10-11PM - Lejos de Ti*
*My guide shows no telenovelas/dizis on December 24. From my experience working with Latinos, they celebrate Noche Buena more than La Navidad. The guide shows Lejos de Ti and Dinastía Casillas showing on Christmas and the day after. Again, like Thanksgiving, I wonder if a new episode would be shown on Christmas Day.
Everyone is welcome to join in the conversation. Since discussions of all the Telemundo novelas share the same page, please remember to put the name of the telenovela you're referring to at the top of your post, so readers can easily find the conversations they're looking for.
By common agreement, this group DOES NOT DISCUSS previews, trailers, or any other plot information not found in a current or past episode of the current production. Spoilers WILL be removed by the admin. This includes references to earlier productions of the story, and even the original novel. Thanks for your cooperation!
Labels: casillas, lejos, telemundo
Novelera: I understand there's a new Telenovela coming up on Telemundo, which will be in one of the primetime evening slots.
After coming home from my son’s house and Christmas dinner, I watched my recording of the Warriors basketball game. I was really expecting a warmed-over episode, but no. So, here’s something short.
Demir meets Sahin at Ozkan’s bank. Sahin loathes the guy, so is not happy. Demir explains that they needed a loan for their operations, and Ozkan got them one. He’ll also be available for money laundering. I guess Demir kind of overspent buying the Yonca hospital.
Alya comes to see Kaya and Zerrin in their hideout. She’s supportive. Kaya says they’ll marry the next day. Alya warns them how Sada will react. She agrees to be their witness, along with Kadir.
Cihan is very suspicious of Kadir, and Alya covers for his absence with a supposed shopping trip.
Alya and Cihan go together to the hospital anniversary party. She looks lovely and wears the locket.
Ozkan comes home drunk and is all over Nare. Fortunately he passes out on top of her, fully clothed.
Mine and Ugur greet Alya and Cihan when they arrive at the event. Cihan almost makes a scene, but he gets Alya to a table where she won’t be sitting by Ugur. Ugur looks sour.
Mine gets sloppy drunk. Alya gets an award and makes a fine speech. Cihan is beaming.
Alya and Cihan are getting along very well, but Cihan won’t get up and dance.
Mine blurts out drunken reproaches to Cihan in the hotel’s foyer, and Alya overhears. Ay, the look on Alya’s face.
She runs out and drives away. Cihan pursues and cuts her off on the road. She feigns that she’s just angry because he lied when she asked him about Mine before. He tries a joke on about her running off in the Albora vehicles (like when she went after the young woman to save her from her father’s honor killing). She asks him how long he was with Mine, and he replies six years. Alya is shocked. And Alya overheard something of Mine and Cihan in the hotel foyer talking about Mine saving her. Cihan confirms that Mine arranged an operating room at Yonca to operate on Alya.
If Alya is actually mad about Cihan lying, what about her and the whole Kaya thing!
Thank you so much Novelera for your mini recap! I was surprised the TNs were on last night!

#43 part 1
It’s worth repeating: Alya tells Cihan, “You broke her heart for a marriage that will never work. You are very cruel.”
Cihan has no answer to this. He just says, let’s go. She asks him to get out of the car. She wants to go alone. He complies.
Sahin looks dispirited as Fidan rants about Kaya ruining Zerrin’s life. And he brought shame upon the family as well [horror!] She notices that Sahin is not reacting. Bana bak! Look at me! If you don’t punish Kaya as soon as you find him, I swear on the Quran I’ll never forgive you! Did you hear me? Yes, he heard. He leaves. Fidan worries about Zerrin.
Zerrin and Kaya cuddle on the couch. He tells her that Kadir got a temporary ID for her and an appointment for the wedding tomorrow. She’s scared and asks, do you think what we’re doing is right? You’ve made me just as crazy as you are. Once you become my wife, he says, nobody will ever separate you from me.
Kaya shows her a big diamond ring. Zerrin asks, you bought the ring before you decided to kidnap me? No, he replies, I bought it the day I fell in love with you. She’s surprised—they were just kids then. I waited until we grew up, he says. He puts the ring on her finger and kisses it.
Alya arrives at the konak first. Everyone is out there to greet her. She’s fuming. Ummu asks if she had a good night. Alya answers sarcastically as she marches past—fantastic! Ummu asks, where is Cihan Bey? He’s busy, Alya barks. There’s Sada observing from above. Cihan arrives.
Alya huffs as she sees Sada and continues walking. She heads for Deniz’s room. Cihan comes up the stairs and Sada tells him Alya went to her son’s room. She wonders, what happened? Nothing, Cihan replies. She asks, why did you come separately? He doesn’t want to talk about it.
Sada asks, did she find out about that woman? Cihan replies, did my men tell you? She nods. Cihan calls out to Muzzafer, who took Mine home? Mustafa and Bedri. Cihan orders him to fire them immediately.
Alya comes outside. Sada comments to Cihan, why is she so upset, as if she’s your real wife? Alya fires back, because I discovered that your son deceived me. He lied about not being in a relationship. I see that you knew it, too. Why did you bother finding him a second wife? Mine could have given you grandchildren.
Sada answers, I would have done that if she were suitable. But a widow with a child cannot give a son to my Cihan. Cihan warns his mom. Alya hurries off to her room. Sada wonders why Alya is so upset. Is she jealous? He doesn’t want to discuss it.
Change of subject. Sada asks if they are still looking for Kaya. Yes. You must find him before the others, she says.
Cihan enters the bedroom and Alya immediately says, your mother didn’t want you to marry her because she’s a widow with a child. Is that why she was never your wife? He says no. No? Then why didn’t you get married, she asks, answer me. If I wanted to marry her, I would have despite my mother, but I didn’t want to, he replies. But you married me, she answers. He asks, are you expecting a response? She already knows the answer… he was forced.
Alya takes pjs and tells Cihan she’s spending the night with Deniz. He can sleep in the bed if he wants. He says this is ridiculous. You’re acting like a woman whose husband cheated on her. If you don’t care what happened, then stay here. She’s stunned for a second then states, I’m leaving because I don’t want to disrespect a woman who loves you so much. I’m not the one who was betrayed, she was. Alya leaves and Cihan whispers, give me patience.
#43 part 2
There was no song in the original so why do they torture us with the Spanish one? Neyse… Alya slides into Deniz’s bed and gives him a gentle kiss. Then she thinks about what happened. Meanwhile, Cihan is out on the terrace drinking tea and thinking. [Cihan, you screwed up.]
Mine drunk dials Cihan. Where are you, Cihan, she wails, I’m begging you! I can’t go on like this! He doesn’t take the call.
Cihan shows up to Deniz’s room in the morning. The boy joyfully greets his uncle, jumping on the bed. I missed you! Alya is still asleep. Well, she was asleep. Cihan says, I missed you, too, but we’re bothering your mother. We woke her up. Deniz answers, I’m sorry, but then she should have slept in her room, Allah, Allah. [Lol] Alya’s not pleased with how her son spoke.
Deniz wants to play fight. Cihan says some other time. The boy insists but Cihan is firm… it’s time for breakfast, get dressed. Deniz runs off to use the bathroom. Alya says that she and Deniz will eat in the kitchen.
Alya warns Cihan, don’t pressure me. And don’t think I don’t know that Ugur’s job offer came from you. Your girlfriend works there, and you try to get rid of him just because he had coffee with me? Typical of you. You’ve got a huge challenge because Ugur turned out to be a tough nut to crack. He rejected the fortune you offered him. Stop interfering in my affairs. Mine calls Cihan. He puts the phone in his pocket and leaves the room.
Mine is at the hospital. She texts: I really want to know what’s happening. Are you okay? I didn’t want this to happen. I’m sorry, I was drunk. Please call.
Ugur comes to Mine’s office. He starts, what a great night. I had fun. But I noticed you left early. Did something happen? Are you okay? Mine isn’t fooled. Thank you for your concern, but I know why you came. You were there, I saw you. Just so you know, I’m not the kind of person to come between a husband and wife. I had a years long relationship with Cihan. Things changed a bit with Alya’s arrival. They had to enter a fake marriage for her son’s safety. It’s not a real marriage. Ugur raises his eyebrows in keen interest. I understand, he replies and leaves. [This guy is trouble. And Mine keeps digging a deeper hole for herself.]
Mine looks at her phone. No response from Cihan.
Alya comes to see Sada. You called me, ağam? Sada is pleased, so you’ve finally learned who’s in charge here. Sit down. Sada gets right down to it. Do you sleep separately? That’s none of your business, Alya replies, anything else? If it’s about my son or anything else in this konak, it is my business, Sada answers. Alya looks at her watch, I’m running late. If you have something to say, make it brief.
Sada says, Cihan doesn’t have to tell you if he sees other woman. Get that into your head. He can be with whomever he pleases. Are you husband and wife so that he should answer to you? If he told you, what would have changed? Nothing, Alya replies, it’s because I see that woman at the hospital every day. I needed to know. Sada says, now you do. And you’ll keep interacting with that woman or any other. My son will have more relationships.
Alya sighs. Sada continues, maybe he will even fall in love. You’re a woman, too. You must know how burdensome this responsibility is. Alya blames Sada. This is your fault. When I buried Boran, you shouldn’t have stopped me from taking my son and leaving.
Let’s not start with the same topic, Sada replies, my grandson is never leaving. But I have an offer for you. Divorce my son. Alya thinks this is the same old thing. You want me to pack my bags and leave my son?
#43 part 3
Sada raises her hand. I understand you’re not leaving without your son. Divorce, and you can stay at the konak. Let’s put an end to hostilities. If you divorce, you will be free. As long as you are not part of a plan that endangers my family, if you follow the rules, I will not interfere. You can take the room upstairs and decorate it as you wish. Or if you prefer, I can provide you with a furnished konak in Midyat. You can come here anytime to see your son. If you have proper security, my grandson can even stay with you on weekends.
Alya says all she wants is her son and to return to her old life. You may go, Sada says, but my grandson never will. Think about my offer. Alya nods and goes.
On her way out, Alya brings the wedding stuff to Kadir. He tells her he’s going to Diyarbakir to prepare for the wedding. He’s worried Cihan’s men will follow her when she leaves the hospital. She’ll figure it out. Kadir sends up a brief prayer, Allah, help this crazy lover Kaya… and Kadir.
Nare calls Cihan at his office. Any word on Kaya? Not yet. Cihan gives a big sigh. Nare asks if he’s okay. No. He tells her that Alya caught him with Mine at the hospital event, etc. She’s sorry to hear it and says she’ll call him later. Nare whispers to herself, may Allah punish you, Mine.
Speaking of Mine, she’s pacing the hallway when Alya arrives. [was she waiting for her?] They exchange awkward morning greetings. Mine asks, can we talk? Alya agrees and they head to her office. Ugur notices.
Mine says, I feel terrible about what happened at the event. I’m ashamed and so sorry. I didn’t want you to find out like that. Alya scoffs, are you really sorry? Have you forgotten you invited me to your house and told me you were having an affair with a married man? You should have been direct and told me that day.
I wanted to tell many times, Mine answers, but Cihan made it clear that he didn’t want you to know, so I couldn’t tell you. I’m sorry. Besides, think about it, wouldn’t it be better for Cihan to tell you? He should have. How could I tell you, Alya? I begged Cihan again and again to tell you everything. He always refused and became furious. I couldn’t tell you and I’m very sorry.
Alya is curious. As a woman, I want you to answer honestly, she says. How could you accept him marrying me? Mine asks if that’s a serious question. I also have my own obligations because of my relationship with Cihan. It’s not easy to just let it go. I have a strong attachment to him. When I heard you were getting married, I got depressed and attempted suicide. Alya is shocked.
Mine continues, Cihan saved me. He spoke to me and explained everything. He said he was forced to marry you, and it was just a formality. His nephew’s life was in danger, and he had to protect him. He claimed your relationship was by mutual agreement and it would never be a real relationship. It was difficult but I understood and carried on with my life. I accepted it.
Alya nods. She notes that Mine came to their wedding. You’re a woman, Mine replies, so you can imagine why. I was experiencing powerful feelings. Alya tries to process this. She says, what happened to you is very sad. I’m very sorry. But what Cihan told you is true. Our marriage isn’t real. I did it for my son. I wish I’d known about this relationship from the beginning and not have to endure such a ridiculous evening. I don’t care if you’re together or not. Mine tries to mute her pleasure at hearing this. Alya adds, I’d also like to thank you for helping me when my life was in danger. Don’t worry, she says, you won’t regret that I survived. Now if you don’t mind, I have a lot of work. Mine thanks her for listening and goes.
#43 part 4
Mine walks down the hallway smiling, until Nare shows up and rips into her. You planned this! You knew my brother was leaving you and you made Alya find out! Mine tells her to lower her voice. This isn’t the place. Nare won’t back off. Go ahead, say what you must, Mine tells her, but you’re wrong. Your imagination is running wild. Nothing was planned. Nare says, that’s lie, I know you.
Alya comes out of her office. You don’t know me, we are not friends, Mine tells Nare, have you ever put yourself in my shoes and considered that I’m a victim, too? You’re no victim, Nare says as Alya leads her away.
Muzzafer checks in with Cihan. We checked the airports in Mardin, Diyarbakir and Urfa. They didn’t get on a flight. We checked recordings on the highway, nothing was there. Cihan asks if they have news on the baklava guy. Nope.
Cihan asks Erol about Halis. Erol says he’s in custody. He will soon reunite with your uncle. Ecmel is being released from solitary today. I wish I could see his reaction when he sees Halis.
Ecmel calls Sahin when he gets out of solitary. He asks, did you find Kaya? Sahin says they are still looking. You have to find him, Ecmel orders, Find him! Sahin assures him they are working on it.
Halis walks by while Ecmel is on the phone. Ecmel is floored. They caught Halis. He asks Sahin, did you give the info to Cihan? No, Sahin replies, Cihan set him up. Ecmel hangs up.
Ecmel comes to Halis in the cell. You ruined everything, he says in disgust. You ruined it for yourself and for us!
Alya and Nare sit in the outdoor cafeteria. Alya asks, why didn’t you tell me anything? Cihan asked you not to? Nare sighs, try to understand my brother. Alya answers, I would if he had told me from the beginning, but now it’s too late. Mine’s not to blame for telling me. Your brother is.
Nare disagrees. Alya continues, that woman was desperate to make me understand. She made all kinds of insinuations and was dying to tell me. Cihan forbade her but she insisted on him telling me. I asked your brother, and he lied while looking me in the eyes. Nare asks, what did he tell you? That he didn’t tell me because he was breaking up with her, Alya replies. Nare says that’s the truth.
If he was leaving her, he would have told me, Alya answers. But he wanted to keep seeing her in secret, which is why he kept it from me… not that I care if he’s with her or not. [But we suspect you do care, Alya.] Nare asks the critical question, then why are you so upset? How can I not be, Alya asks in reply, the woman tried to commit suicide when she heard we were getting married. That’s how much she loves Cihan. Six years! They were together!
Nare says, if he loved her, he would have married her. Try to understand. Alya thinks he didn’t marry Mine because Sada didn’t approve. Nare notes, she didn’t approve of you, and he married you. Alya answers it isn’t the same. Cihan was fulfilling Boran’s wish. Nare says that Cihan was really breaking up with Mine. And when Mine found out, she put the usb in your purse.
Alya is surprised at first. But then she says, nothing surprises me anymore. I can’t blame her. How can I? She finally understood why the man she loved married me, so she kept quiet. But she wanted me to understand, too. Stop excusing her, Nare replies, what she did wasn’t right. And who has been acting right, Alya asks. Not Boran or Cihan. You think I did the right thing? I don’t even know what to think. I’m tired of all this. She gets up and goes back to work.
Kaya dresses for the wedding. Zerrin comes out in her dress. [what do you think of it?] He admires his beautiful bride.
#43 part 5
Ugur visits Alya. He brings her award that she left behind at the event. He asks, are you alright? Yes, she replies, I’m just a little tired, that’s all. I only have one more patient and then I’m leaving. He says he won’t take up more of her time and gets up. She stops him and asks, why did you refuse the wonderful offer you received? I don’t understand. Sorry if I’m being too personal. He answers, well… for me, money isn’t everything… and I feel I’ll be happier here. [hmm… the way he said it and how he looked at her. Alya picked up on it. ] Ugur leaves.
Kadir calls Alya. He’s taken care of the wedding paperwork. The ceremony is at 4. Can you make it? Alya says she’ll leave now. Kadir says Kaya and Zerrin are about to leave. I hope it all goes well, she says. Inshallah, Kadir replies, I’m so nervous, I haven’t even eaten. Be careful when you come.
Alya sneaks out a back door and into a taxi.
Sahin receives a call from one of his men while he’s in a car with Demir. Kaya and Zerrin are coming to the civil registry in Diyarbakir. The ceremony is in 2 hours. Sahin asks if Mahmut knows. Yes, his men are here. We hear them calling Mahmut. Sahin tells Demir, let’s go to Diyarbakir.
Nare comes to Cihan’s office. We need to talk. First, she asks about Kaya. Nothing yet. Then she tells him she went to the hospital. Alya isn’t doing well. I told you to tell her the truth. I warned you. Cihan tells her it’s pointless to talk about this now.
The conversation is interrupted by Muzzafer. He has news on Kaya. Zeynep’s husband, Cemal, works in the Diyarbakir town hall. He found out that Kaya and Zerrin are getting married there in 2 hours. Cihan and Nare rush out.
Sada’s men inform her of the impending wedding in Diyarbakir. She rushes out.
Kaya and Zerrin are ready to leave. She asks, what kind of future do we have to look forward to? He replies, as long as you’re always by my side, I’ll be ready for anything. Me too, she answers. He kisses her forehead. They get in the car.
No surprise, the lovers are intercepted along the road by Sahin, Demir, Mahmut, Sedat, and their men. Sounds like guns are drawn but Sahin calls for calm. Kaya tries to back up, but another car pulls up behind them. Fidan gets out. Zerrin!
Kaya tells Zerrin to get out and they make a run for it. The chase is on! [I couldn’t help but laugh at Demir running.] The group catches up with the lovers. Kaya and Sedat draw guns at each other. Sahin shouts at Sedat—what are you doing? He lowers Sedat’s arm. Sahin pleads with Kaya to put his gun down. Fidan begs Kaya to let Zerrin go.
Kaya waves his gun and warns everyone to stay back. He declares, I’ll die before I give up Zerrin! Demir mutters in the background, we can accommodate you if that’s what you want. Mahmut calls out, Kaya, I’ll show you the consequences of kidnapping Sedat’s wife! Kaya dares him to go ahead. Fidan pleads with Kaya. Sahin tells him to hand over the gun and everything will be okay.
Sahin gets his guys to lower their weapons. Kaya won’t give up so easily. Sahin tells him to come to his senses, he’s putting Zerrin at risk. That gets him to drop his gun on the ground. The men move in and separate Zerrin and Kaya.
Alya’s taxi stops at the cars blocking the road. She’s alarmed and heads towards the conflict.
Kaya dares them to shoot him in the head. Mahmut raises his gun. Sahin looks horrified. Kaya shouts—even if you shoot me, Zerrin is mine! Zerrin benim!
Alya walks into the middle of this. Do something, Sahin! Sahin tries to reason with Mahmut, but Mahmut does not lower his gun.
And we are out!
Really good recap, Dondi! Major events happening!
Alya tells Cihan he’s been cruel. She says Mine was the one betrayed, not her. Do these truths sink in? Naw, Cihan says Give me patience. I want to shake him.
Now, on to honor. Man assaults woman, wants to marry her though she loathes him. Family honor is lost because she flees. Apparently assault and forced marriage are fine, no blot on the family’s reputation.
I don’t get it - Sadaket says a widow with a child (Mine) is not appropriate to give Cihan a son. But she was pressing Alya to have a son with him!
I liked the wedding dress a lot! I just wondered how how she had gotten one that fit without going shopping. Also it was handy that the ring was the right size!
Maggie
Donde , Thank you for that excellent recap..You didn't miss a moment . I have to make sure that I have my beanie on. I was finally able to watch several episodes , including the dinner with Mine pounding down the drinks and drunk dancing .
What is up with Demir ?.He is always around watching and stirring the pot whenever he has a Chance. It was funny when everybody was running while Demir was jogging slowly at the back of the pack.
Crazy in love Kaya and Zerrin ...Romeo and Juliet . She looked !lovely in the dress which was much more understated then the first one .
Susan
Thanks so much, dondi, for the terrific recap. You are such a pro at writing dialogue. And I was ITA with your asides.
Kaya is so sweet with Zerrin. In the very first scene with the two of them, his calling her to meet him in the street, he just seemed like a young man with the hots. But he truly is Romeo.
You could easily just cut and paste “Sahin looks dispirited.” At the beginning of the dizi, Sahin and Cihan were so close. Sahin was very loyal to Cihan. Poisonous Ecmel has destroyed that.
Will we ever see any arrivals at the Albora konak without Sadakat lurking there like a medieval gargoyle?
I suppose this is a cultural thing. My parents would NEVER have asked me personal questions about how my relationship with my husband was going. Sadakat recognizes no boundaries.
I have a question. In the Turkish, does Sada say a widow with a child cannot give Cihan a son? That is what you wrote, dondi. In Spanish, when she says the same thing and uses hijo, it could be son or child. Hijos can mean children or sons. Would Sadakat not care if Mine gave Cihan a daughter?
I could throttle Mine. Cihan and Alya were getting closer to a good relationship, mostly kidding each other. Alya was quite pleased when Cihan told her how proud he was of her award at the hospital.
They gave us some little boy reality as Deniz rushed to the bathroom clutching his groin. I flashed back to my son's childhood.
Can’t Sadakat have any sort of conversation without a dominance display? “So you’ve finally realized who’s in charge here.”
Mine’s desperation is putting paid to her relationship with Cihan. She overstates her relationship with Cihan to Alya, as if they’re madly in love and he only did the noble thing to save Deniz. And she eggs on Ugur, seemingly fully aware that he has a thing for Alya.
No surprise? Well, I guess that’s true since this is a dizi and couples seldom have easy happy endings. After seeing Kaya and Zerrin so happy together, it was a gut punch to see them trapped. I was so miserable about it, I felt like giving up on watching this.
Susan, here's a refresher about the beginning of this show. In the very first scene Cihan is in a car chase and gets hold of Demir. I can't remember what Demir had done at this specific time, but there's very bad blood. Demir is from the Baybars clan. A Baybars killed Azem, Cihan's father. Boran, the eldest Albora, killed that Baybars guy. in revenge. Boran fled the country. He ended up in Canada and married Alya. In order to stop the violence of the feud, Cihan married Zeyda. I assume she was a Beybars. But she was the one Demir was in love with. So he's spent the whole show plotting and carrying out revenge. From what I gathered, she ended up falling for Cihan. When he didn't reciprocate, she killed herself.
