Everybody at the mansion ends up in matching pajamas — and so does everyone in the prison, jaja.

Andro gives Ines an abortifacient to slip to Grecia, and she does. If Grecia loses her baby, we know Ines cannot be redeemed.

Rex and Carlo are officially novios. He gets fired from his job for being the son of an evildoer, which doesn’t seem quite fair.

Aramis tells Cande that if she loved him back, he’d become a good guy, but since she won’t, his personality is all her fault. Then he arranges for the prison gangs to beat Gonzo and Bolero to death.

There’s a lot of refrito about Rulo not being gay, so hopefully that will resolve itself soon.

Andro is back to her David Bowie haircut, which is making me scared of David Bowie now. Oh, and we learned the word for club foot — “el pie equinovaro.”

Notes from the Couch

WHO IS NURIA?
The social worker tells Joaquín and the kids that their aunt has been on a spiritual retreat in Thailand and knew nothing about the accident.She took it very badly. Joaquín asks if Nuria coming to see them. The social worker said that Nuria wasn't clear about that but she will contact her again in a few days.
Kassandra is sure their aunt will come once she has processed it all. Meli doesn't want her to come, They are satisfied with Joaquín taking care of them. It is explained that Nuria is their legal guardian while Joaquín was their provisional guardian because they couldn't find Nuria. Kassandra is smiling but Joaquín and the kids are not.

Joaquín tells Kassandra that he wonders how Nuria didn't know about Luis with the internet and tv being everywhere how she found out now. Kassandra explains that spiritual retreats are in the middle of nowhere.He thinks that Nuria is selfish. She couldn't even call teh kids herself. He is concerned. Kassandra says to give her time. She will come.

Joaquín is not so sure that will be a good thing. He himself hasn't had enough time to mourn the loss of his friend. He pushed his feelings aside to care for the kids because that was the most important thing.He thinks that Nuria must feel guilty because from what he knew, she and Luis fought all the time. That is why Susana couldn't stand her and why years went by without her visiting her brother. Kassandra says no matter what, the kids need to be with their real family and get their life back.

The kids talk among themselves. Vale cannot believe how Nuria found out about the accident in the middle of nowhere. Diego says he looked for her but couldn't find her anywhre. Dani is happy they found her. Diego understands that because Aunt Nuria is into UFO's and put those ideas in her head.

Vale thinks maybe Nuria will want to take care pf them. Meli asks why she doesn't call her "Aunt" Nuria. Vale says she doesn't feel that she is her aunt. One time she heard Nuria arguing with her father about whether she (Vale) was really her niece. Nuria said she wasn't because she didn't have their blood. Their father got very angry and told Nuria that Vale was his daughter and if she didn't love Vale, he didn't love her. Vale wants Joaquín to stay. Meli thinks that the situation is horrible and asks if they can choose who takes care of them.Diego asks them all not to get ahead of themselves. Dani is sure Aunt Nuria will come and help her find her parents.

Carmen tells Vero about Nuria being found in Thailand. Vero sees it as good news. Carmen says, just between them, Nuria is not the ideal aunt. Furthermore, the kids have a lot of affection for Joaquín. The kids and Joaquín were playing charades having a great time and after the social worker arrived with her news, it felt like a wake.

Vero talks to Joaquín who has been thinking back on the good times with the kids. No, she doesn't want to go to be with her dad. Their relationship is not the best. She often feels like they are strangers. He says he felt like that when he came to live at the house but now after all that has happened, he feels like they are his family. He wants to stay with them. Vero understands. They agree to keep up their spirits so they do not pass any sadness on to the kids.

VERO GETS A SURPRISE
Vero finds Facundo waiting for her in her own home. Irate, all he wants to know is why she didn't tell him that imbecile Joaquín had kissed her. All she can say is that he has broken into her home and that is a crime! He asks what does she think she is doing entering other peoples' homes fraudulently using the identity of another person to become a part of their lives through lies and deception. She did the same to him. Vero insists that she never lied to him. He sees it differently and feels used. He was good enough when she needed him but then sent him to hell as if nothing ever happened. Then he found out that she had rejected Joaquín and that disarmed him. Vero informs him that she is rejecting him and Joaquín. Her interest at this time is dedicated to her daughter. He asks about love? her future? She cannot think of either of those things until she gets Vale back. He asks what if he reveals her secret?? She get in his face and tells him in no uncertain terms that if she loses Vale because of him, he doesn't want to know what will happen. He agrees to keep his mouth shut because he wants her to realize that he is the best man for her and not Joaquín. He leaves with a final threat that if finds out that she is leaving him for Joaquín, that will be the day he will tell Joaquín who she and her daughter really are.

FACUNDO ON THE HOT SEAT
Sanabria, Marios' henchman, meets with Facundo. It turns out that Mario is only interested in Eleazar coming work for him, NOT Facundo. Mario wants him at Navarro- Cross to feed him information. (WHOOPSIE) The offer is the offer. Facundo inisists that if they want his son, he comes, too. Sanabria reminds him of the consequences if Eleazar doesn't sigh with them. Sanabria advises him to think over what he said before making a decision.

At the company, Joaquín is putting Marcos in charge of the shop when Facundo appears with his tail between his legs. He apologizes to Joaquín for what he did. It was not acceptable. He now realizes that Joaquín had nothing to do with Vero breaking up with him. He never should have mixed work with his personal life. Being sincere with everything that is going on at the company, it is probably best he not abandon ship. Joaquín, also being sincere, thinks it is the best for both of them that Facundo find another job. Facundo tries to talk him out of firing him by saying it was no big deal. Joaquín sees it differently. He shouted in his face, showed him such resentment and blamed him for practically ruining his life. Facundo apologizes. Joaquín accepts the apology but he refuses to change his decision. He tells Facundo to finish up all of his projects and at the end of the month they will discuss his settlement.

At the track, Eleazar asks his father why he quit. Facundo insists that neither of their futures are at this company. Eleazar refuses Facundo making any more decisions for him. Facundo counters saying that he has made decisions for Eleazar his whole life and that is not going to stop now. Eleazar disagrees and asks him if he is going to hit him again. He asks his father why he is filled with such hatred. He makes his mother's life impossible. He fights with Joaquín . He wants him to race for Nolivos. What is wrong with him? Facundo has heard enough and he gabs his son by the neck. He tells him he owns him. He made him. He is who he is thanks to him. He should be thanking him. Eleazar pushes him off and tells him he will not do anything he does not agree with. His loyalty is to the Navarro team. Facundo grabs him by the neck again but this time Vale sees them She tells him to let Eleazar go. Facundo tells her not to get involved but Vale tells him to let him go again. He has no reason to treat him like that. Facundo tells her to shut up but lets his son go. Facundo tells his son that this isn't over yet and leaves.

Vale tells Eleazar that he cannot let Facundo treat him that way. Eleazar says his father has always had a very bad temper. She asks if Eleazar is okay. He is doing the best he can and adds that his father is making a super big mistake but doesn't give any details. He admits he loves his dad but it is really hard to forgive him any time he treats him like that.

Eleazar asks his mother what is wrong with his father. Lorena says he has always been that way demanding too much of him. Lorena advises him to look out for himself and find what makes him feel good. He needs to fight for what he wants in his life.

Facundo decides to call in his favor with Iván. He reminds him that he covered for him when he STOLE the money from the company. As repayment, he is asking Iván to talk Joaquín out of firing him. Joaquín would be so disappointed to find out that his brother was a thief!

THE BUSINESS IN THE BACKGROUND
Joaquín tellsKassandra that their numbers are not looking good because the article about Luis has taken its toll. They have lost three major sponsors so far. The sponsors who are left are demanding too many conditions. She asks if corporate has said anything. He tells her that they want to break their alliance but he is ready to put up a fight because if that were to happen they would be bankrupt in a matter of months. He informs her that corporate would keep their alliance if Navarro Cross took on a partner who could invest a strong amount of capital in the company immediately. Kassandra thinks that is a good solution. For Joaquín, it is personal because he doesn't want to have to share decision making with a stranger who wasn't there from the very start with him and Luis. Kassandra thinks that sometimes you have to let in fresh air and trust that everything is happening for the best.. .

Eyeing the necklace that Mario gave her, Kassandra calls him to let him know how bad things are going at Navarro Cross and how they are looking for a partner with lots of capital. She thought he would be interested in that information. Mario is pleased with her loyalty. She thinks it is the least she w could due for his helping her find Nuria. He invites her to have supper with him. He would like to see how that necklace that he gave her looks on her up close. She is non-committal. He tells her to think about it. He would like to get to know her better.

Kassandra tells her mother about the situation. She explains that Mario is an old friend but they have been competitors for years. Now he wants to take advantage of the situation and become a capital partner in Navarro Cross. Isaura can see Joaquín not liking that. Isaura reminds Kassandra that with Nuria coming at least she'll be able to get Joaquín away from the orphans. Kassandra is not so sure about that because he will still be in charge of their inheritance.

Kassandra shows her mother the necklace. Isaura is impressed and tells her to go to eat with Mario. Those kind of opportunities with rich men are few and far between.

KASSANDRA MARKS HER TERITORY
Kassandra is having a coffee in the kitchen when Vero walks in with some pretty purple flowers. She puts them in a vase. Kassandra thinks it must be hard for Vero being so close to Joaquín. Vero answers that she has limited herself to only doing her job. Kassandra says she does her job so well that Joaquín trusts her too much. Kassandra says she found out that she and Joaquín kissed. Vero feigns ignorance. Kassandra tells her not to be a liar because Joaquín confessed it all. Kassandra assures her there will be no repercussions. Rathe, she would like to thank her because due to what she did, now Joaquín recognized what a mistake he made and realized that the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with is HER!. She adds that Joaquín proposed to her. Vero admits she doesn't know what to say but ends up congratulating her. Kassandra thanks her! Maybe Vero can help her organize the wedding but she could never let her be in charge of the flowers because she has terrible taste in those. She dumps the purple flowers in the trash, wishes Vero a good day and leaves.

EVERYTHING ELSE:

-Nico has a wonderful dinner with Lorena, Eleazar and Claudia.

-Aurelio comes home from the hospital being his curmudgeonly self. He insists he is fine on his own. He only had a heart attack. H didn't break his legs..

-NIco tells Aureliio that he has a daughter who was concieved right before he entered teh seminary. Her name si Claudia and she is incredible. She is the gift he never asked for but always dreamed about. Nico tells Aurelio that he would feel the same way about his granddaughter. The worm turns again and Aurelio tells him not to go there. Nico reminds him he was at death's door and it would be better that he not leave this world with unfinished business.

-Meli tells Vero that Alexa apologized and told her she ripped up her coveted concert tickets. She is considering making her a friend again. Vero tells her it wasn't Alexa's fault and to follow her heart.

-Flores comes home to a scathing note from Alexa informing him she is going to live with her mother. Maybe some day she will be able to give him but not today. He cries.

-Bruno and Dani visit at work. He agrees to be her escort at her quince. He is surprised it is being held at her house. She explains that her parents disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle and will be coming back to her on her quince.

THERE WAS NO LOVE. THERE WAS NO MARRIAGE. WILL NAYELI END UP PUSHING A BABY CARRIAGE???
Okay, she has already fainted and was complaining about her stomach being off and feeling so very tired to her friends.

Thanks blue lass for clearing up the conversation between Aramis and Canda. I didn't figure it out and didn't care enough to rewatch and pay closer attention.

So Grecia takes a sip of the doctored juice and immediately doubles over in pain. That is one fast acting abortificant!

I didn't realize that Not gave Ines something to make Grecia miscarry . So, Ines is now beyond redemption. I wonder what her anvil will be.

I get a kick out of the conversations between Ari and Cande. They are exactly the same height , and they stand very close when they talk. Cande is a sturdy woman , and I think that she could easily take old Ari in a fair fight ...but Ari doesn't ever fight fair ..

And Gonzo beaten to death .I hope that doesn't happen . What was up with all that water ??
Real made a speedy quick recovery . I have never seen a pj party in a novela except for teen girls. Susan

Facundo is seething and lashing out at everyone in his orbit. I couldn't believe that he was choking his own son and wouldn't stop even when Vale intervened

Thanks so much for another outstanding recap. I’m sorry I was not able to comment for a couple of days, but appreciated all the details you provided.

So Kassandra and Facundo are both going to be feeding Mario information. I’d say Joaquin doesn’t stand a chance of saving his business but I know he will. Maybe that aunt has money to invest. Although judging from the kids faces and what Vale said the aunt doesn’t sound too promising.

I had to laugh when Kassandra came in with the social worker to announce the aunt had been found. She does not know how to read a room. She saw all their faces fall and it didn’t phase her! Although when she threw out the flowers and told Vero that Joaquin had proposed I was so mad. Why doesn’t Joaquin overhear her.

I loved how Joaquin refused to give Facundo his job back. Also loved when Facundo was in his face the previous night. So we know Joaquin will stand up for himself and not take that kind of stuff.

I wonder how Facundo got in Vero’s house. She stood up to him too. Facundo’s batting zero. Even his son is wising up. I hope Vale tells Joaquin how he was treating his son. I also wish Vero would at least confide in Joaquin. Then when it gets out, as it will, Facundo could explain he knew and was helping Vero with getting to know her daughter.

At least Claudia and Nico are getting along. The four of them dining together was nice. One problem solved!

At the very end, Bolero is telling Gonzo that he’s gotten out of worse situations (really?) and they have a chance if Gonzo will just do what he says…but Gonzo of course is not cooperating. He is not a cooperator.

Maybe they’ll have a chance to break a searchlight into all that water and electrocute everybody? That would be pretty cinematic.

Susan, the actor playing Franco had pj parties all the time in Mi Marido tiene Familia. They certainly to add cutsie scenes into this show. I roll my eyes during them....

"Why doesn’t Joaquin overhear her." (Kassandra) Exactly. He overhears everyone else as it seems like everyone else does in this story. Very frustrating.

"So we know Joaquin will stand up for himself and not take that kind of stuff." I was so happy to see him not wimp out when it came to Facundo because I was beginning to have doubts about him having the guts to do something like that.

So many plots! So much going on! At least this novela is keeping my interest.

Can't wait for tonight.

How frightening for Vero to find Facundo making himself comfortable in HER home! I give her mad props as she held her own, head held high. Facundo went too far (thankfully) with Joaquin and burned every bridge behind him. He's out and hopefully in the proverbial doghouse with Mario. Now that Mario and Kassandra seem fated for the inevitable dinner date, will we FINALLY see him?)
Poor Eleazar!! Facundo was just brutish to him, in full view of others including Vale. For a moment, I wondered if he was going to go after her. Eleazar has to get away from his clutches before he really hurts her.

"Okay, she has already fainted and was complaining about her stomach being off and feeling so very tired to her friends". One of the too many to count lines that I didn't understand, left struggling to comprehend. I hope Nayeli isn't pregnant, but based on this...

"WHO IS NURIA?" indeed! Nuria not immediately reaching out to the children once she heard of the deaths is perplexing. Hearing the negative comments about what she was like was surprising. I expected some zen embracing character so cannot wait to see the "real" her. Has Veronica Jaspeado ever played a villain or anything similar?? Perish the thought.

"Nico has a wonderful dinner with Lorena, Eleazar and Claudia". My favorite scene of the hour. Lorena looked lovely with her beautiful red hair. There was real warmth and bonding with the future looking promising. I'd say it was interesting that Nico didn't wear his Roman collar and thought that might be significant. Still, I don't think I've ever seen a priest leave the priesthood for a woman (El nombre del amor may have been one of the closest) or am I wrong?

Alexa grew a conscience. Good for her!

Diana, I, too, noticed that Nick did not wear his collar , which I took as a possible sign that he may leave the priesthood to marry Lorena,. The four looked so happy and relaxed to be together, including Eleazer . He must find Nick to be so gentle and kind compared to the father that he grew up with . susan

"Dani is happy they found her [Nuria]. Diego understands that because Aunt Nuria is into UFO's and put those ideas in her head." So now we know how Dani got into UFO's. Last night, I was wondering why she wasn't upset like the other kids at the tia news.

"One time she [Vale] heard Nuria arguing with her father about whether she (Vale) was really her niece. Nuria said she wasn't because she didn't have their blood." That sure didn't help Vale with her anger about her birth mom giving her away.

I'm glad Joaquin gave Facundo's job to Mario. Mario is not a good husband (yet? ever?), but I like him in the shop and he never trusted Facundo.

Notes from the Couch

1. We start with Dani and all of the young'uns at the snack bar happily discussing Dani's quince with her. Bruno is all excited to be her escort. Hugo and Eleazar are both vying to dance with Vale at the event. Dani thanks Vale for arranging choreography lessons with a dance teacher so they can learn the necessary dances. Dani asks Diego to sing at her shindig. Yes, he will.

2. Outside the house a jovial Iván is putting in a good word for Facundo with Joaquín as Facundo ordered him to. He knows Facundo has a bad temper but he was really hurt and feels bad about what happened. He is sorry.Joaquín cannot believe that Facundo asked him to intercede for him. Iván says the bottom line is that Facundo was jealous and lost his head. Laughing, he adds that both he and Joaquín know that his suspicions aren't exactly wrong. There is something is going on between him and Vero. Iván knows all about Vero having rejected Joaquín but If Vero broke up with Facundo, it is because of what she feels for him. Iván thinks Facundo deserves another chance. Joaquín cannot understand why Iván is defending Facundo so much. Doesn't Iván see the dark side in him? Joaquín cannot trust him enough to have him around. Iván si no longer smiling.

3. At a high end restaurant, Kassandra has decided to meet Mario for supper. It turns out that he closed the restaurant for the two of them.

4. At home, Vero tells Joaquín that she is leaving. Before she leaves, she congratulates him. He asks why?? She says that Kassandra told ehr that eh proposed to her. Joaquín looks confused.

5. Back at the restaurant, Mario, looking fine, greets Kassandra telling her she is very beautiful and kissing her hands. She greets him as Mr. Nolivos. He says she can call him Mario. He suggests that they call each other "tú" because between allies there should not be any formalities. He gives a toast to those who know how to choose their battles well and even their loyalties. She smiles and declares she is loyal to nobody but herself.

6. Back in the kitchen, Joaquín says that Kassandra should have said nothing to her. Vero supposes she must be very happy and wanted to share the good news. Joaquín makes it clear that he didn't propose to her. Vero says he owes her no explanations. It is his life. He insists on explaining it all to her. They talked and the topic came up. There was no decision made. They will talk again after Dani's party. On the verge of tears, Vero says she was just surprised because he once told her that he could not see Kassandra as his life long partner. Joaquín reminds her that is not all he told her. He opened his heart to her and he made a mistake.

7. Mario is pleased with what he is hearing They are more alike than she can imagine. He presents her with another little gift: (looks like) blue sapphire earrings to match the necklace. She thinks they are precious. He agrees but they don't sparkle like she is sparkling tonight. He needs her absolute discretion with what he is about to tell her. He has been in negotiations with the corporate office and he is very close to becoming the capitalist partner of Navarro Cross. She says he can trust her. He hopes so. He hates traitors more than enemies. She smiles as does he.

8. Outside the house, Dani is trying to contact her parents. She hopes they will be at her quince.

9. Mario is afraid he has bad news for Kassandra. He had Sanabria contact Nuria Miranda to pressure her to come back to Mexico. He even offered her his private plane but she said she wasn't sure if she was coming back to Mexico. Kassandra is shocked. Mario thinks that if she really wants Nuria back, she will have to go to Thailand and convince her herself. He can have his private plane ready to go tomorrow. If she doesn't act quickly, Nuria could disappear again. Kassandra decides to go since all of her plans depend on Nuria returning.

10. Joaquín says that he found out that Vero ended things with Facundo and was thinking that . . . He approaches her and she immediately makes it clear that she did not end things with Facundo because of him. He looks surprised She explains that she did it for herself. She has never needed a man to get ahead. She has done it on her own. Her only priority is her daughter. He says that Nayeli is very lucky to have a mother like her. She tells him not to make a mistake but to focus on what is really important: the children. He also needs to know that he can always count on her to help him care for them. She leaves.

11. Dani tells Joaquín that she is feeling happy and nervous about her quince. Diego and Joaquín agree it will all turn out fine. Dani asks Joaquín to escort her into her event for her presentation. Joaquín is flattered but he thought she would have picked Diego because he is her big brother. Diego explains that has a special song he is going to sing when she makes her entrance and anyway Joaquín has been like a . . . father: old, haggard and tired. Joaquín says he is at his peak! They all laugh. Joaquín accepts saying it will be an honor for him.

SEVERAL DAYS LATER THE NIGHT OF DANI'S QUINCE CELEBRATION

12. At Consuelo's, Nico has appeared. Bruno is all dressed up to go to Dani's quince when his mother informs him he is not going anywhere. He is being punished. Being an altar boy doesn't mean he can keep the money from the collection plate in his pocket. She explains that is stealing and in the house of God! He explains that she takes all the money he earns. She informs him that clothes and food cost money. The reason he is working is because he was expelled and she wasn't going to let him be a bum. He says he only wanted to buy Dani a nice gift. Something she could remember him by. (Uh, the lying continues; he was stealing before he met Dani) Nico says his intentions might have been good but he took the wrong path. Consuelo orders Bruno to his room.

13. Dani's quinceañera is in full swing outside her house. She enters on Joaquín's arm. Everyone applauds. She looks around for Bruno but he is not there. All of her friends rush to her on the dance floor to congratulate and cheer for her. Diego appears and sings her the special song he wrote for her.

14. Romina is in the house having a hard time seeing her sister in her "Consuelo" role and knowing that Vale is there, too. Vero understands. She really loves all the kids. Romina says it is evident that they all feel the same about her. They feel like she is part of the family. Vero finds that hard to believe but wants to. She thanks her sister for coming.

15. Diego takes Bruno's pace and does the signature waltz with Dani. Soon everyone is dancing. As Diego and Majo dance, she informs him that Claudia is watching them. He asks so what? They are only two friends dancing. Joaquín dances with Vale. Hugo cuts in so Joaquín moves on to Vero. Smiling, they both agree that they wish the night would never end. Suddenly in their heads, they are on a fantasy dance floor executing tango moves and almost kissing. They are returned to reality overcome with happiness when Joaquín gets a call from Kassandra.

16. Joaquín moves to the office to talk to Kassandra who tells him she was on a trip to take care of sponsor business in Miami although she is calling from Thailand. In her nightgown, she tells Joaquín that she hopes to return with good news. He does , too. He fully trusts her and her ability. She says she misses him. He pauses to think and says THEY ALL miss her. He has to get back to the party. She sends him a kiss. He hangs up. Mario in black silk pajamas asks her if she really would rather be there than here with him. She says not at that party! They are immediately all over each other.

17. Eleazar approaches Vale saying finally Hugo has let her alone. She asks him not to start. They always end up arguing like cats and dogs. He wants to clarify things. What is going on with Hugo? She says NOTHING. He asks her what the kissing was about. She insists that Hugo kissed her. She told him that she can only see him as a friend. She admits trying to make Eleazar jealous. He isn't done talking but she is.

18. Diego and Majo disappear. Claudia sees them leave and Majo go up the stairs into the house looking around to see if she is being seen.

19. Vale runs into Romina inside and they chat about Vale's young loves. Vale talks about one guy and how great he is but also how she is not attracted to him at all but then there is this other guy who drives her crazy, since they argue all the time, but she cannot stop thinking about him. Romina notices the way that Vale strokes her hair just like Vale. Romina asks if the guy is at the party. Vale says no. Romina asks really? Vale concludes she is a really bad liar and they laugh.

20. Diego and Majo are in his room. Soon they are kissing. Claudia invades the room crying she sees them.

21. Vale is giving her hair a quick curl touch up when Eleazar sneaks up behind her. She tells him he cannot be in her bedroom and even less in her bath room.
What is wrong with him? He insists that she listen to what he has to say. She doesn't get why he complains about Hugo when he is going out with Rebeca.
Eleazar tells her they are a couple fools hurting each other, being jealous. They let their pride rule when they are dying to be together. She pretends to kiss him and pushes him in the shower to cool down. She turns on the water. They boht start to laugh and he pulls her in. They kiss.

22. Diego asks Claudia what she is doing there. She asks Diego if he left her for Majo. Diego tries to calm her down. She refuses because they both betrayed her. etc. etc., etc. She tells them that they disgust her and that she hates them. Diego goes after her. (uh, why?)

23. Eleazar and Vale are both soaking wet, laughing and kissing some more.

24. Back in Bangkok, Kassandra and Mario are now dressed and she asks where Nuria is. He says that Nuria left Thailand by herself without a trace. She has disappeared again. Kassandra can't believe that damn Nuria did it again. She says it doesn't matter because she will drag her to Mexico to those orphans herself if necessary.

25. All of the guests are partying but Dani is all by herself at the entrance. Vale wants to know what is going on. Dani answers that she is waiting. Joaquín starts to come out as Dani says she is waiting for her parents. she knows they will come and that will be her birthday gift. Joaquín softly tells her that her parents never have left. They are with here with her in her heart, in each memory, in every smile they shared. Vero adds that her parents would want to see her happy, see her live, move on. All the love they gave her is didn't go with them. It is right there in her heart. Dani starts to cry. She says it can't be this way. She needs them. Vale holds her as she sobs. Suddenly the doorbell rings. Dani cannot believe it. It must be her parents!

16. They all rush to the door. Joaquín recognizes it is Nuria!! Nuria is all smiles. Everyone else looks shocked.

17. Diego finally catches up to Claudia in Vale's room and grabs her arm. She wrenches it away telling him not to touch her. Vale emerges soaked from the shower asking what is going on. Claudia tells her that her brother is despicable.Eleazar emerges all wet, too. Majo comes in and Claudia calls her and Diego traitors. Diego asks what Eleazar was doing in the shower with his sister. Vale tells him to mind his own business, He tells her to do the same. Meli cuts the scene short (YES!) by telling them to all come down stairs. Mei gets them around Carmen asking why Vale and Eleazar are all wet.

18. The kids all arrive on the steps and Nuria greets them all. She comments on the intense vibe she is feeling. She admits she doesn't know if she arrived at a good time or not. She took a lot of planes. There were a lot of layovers and different time zones. She feels like she has lost track of time and her soul when they landed but but finally the universe delivered her here. She greets her family and everyone else. Joaquín says that she surprised everyone. Nuria found out that her brother and sister-in-law transcended to another plane of existence and she finds all of them in the middle of a party. No judgment from her, though, because in some cultures death is celebrated. It is a rebirth. That being said she is still in the process of healing from their departure. Dani explains it is her quince. Nuria finds that a perfect synchronicity because a 15th birthday is a portal to very powerful feminine energy.

19. Facundo shows up at the snack bar being sarcastic and crossing himself when he sees Nico sitting there. He harasses Nico with ignorant comments and then leaves. Lorena tells Nico that Facundo hasn't changed after all these years. Nico says she hasn't changed either. She is still the same forceful marvel of a woman who never fails to surprise him. He admires her so much. Lorena tells Nico he has changed so much she almost does not recognize him. She will never understand why he turned his back on all they had. She says maybe he wasn't in love with her. He answers that she was the love of his life.

20. Once inside, Nuria cannot believe how everyone is looking at her as if she had just landed on their planet from another galaxy. Vale says they haven't seen her in so long. Diego and Joaquín both tried to find her. They all did. She knows that but she was at a silent retreat where you unplug from the material world. There were no cell phones, no noise only your breathing and she hums a mantra. It is the sound of the universe beating along with you. She felt an emptiness in her solar plexus. That is how she found out that her brother and Susana . . . It was a very hard blow. She creates an empty mudra (ritual gesture) with her hands and moves them to create the love mudra. She says they both help to open her consciousness and to talk. When she was able to balance her energy, she followed the signs and took several planes because the universe never makes anything easy. That is how she arrived here to be with her family. She smiles and makes more mudras.

20. Claudia, still hysterical, asks Eleazar to get her out of there. Majo wants to talk to her. Claudia has nothing to say to her. Hugo appears asking how Eleazar and Vale ended up all wet. Eleazar and Caudia leave together.

21. Nayeli gets home and tells her mother that her stomach was upset all day long. The nail polish also made her feel nauseous. That has never happened before. She also sat down at work and fell asleep while she was waiting for the dye to process on a client's hair. She must have caught a bug. Consuelo says this sounds like something else. She asks her if her period is late. Nayeli looks worried

Just as anticipated, Verónica Jaspeado is perfect for this part. She has such a distinctive voice and look..
Hugo and Claudia should end up together so they can obsess about and stalk each other.
Maybe Mario could do the story a favor and get rid of Facundo.

Jarifa, thank you for your always sharp, intuitive and crystal-clear details. A mixture of mostly sweet mixed with a touch of sour.

I really like all of the younger set, especially when everyone is happy and getting along. Without exception, all looked so nice and wanted everything to go well at the quince. Indeed, the party was going splendidly with dancing, romance and flirtation until Diego and Majo caused major waves with their ill-timed rendezvous. Granted, Claudia made it very difficult for them to tell the truth, but nevertheless that is exactly what they should have done. Vale and Eleazar take a step forward, with grimacing Hugo continuing to be a thorn in their (and my) side.

New Age Nuria made quite the entrance. Contrary to what I expected, she seemed quite lovely and tried (however awkwardly) to be warm and friendly. I (like the children) were a bit befuddled by her words (I was a little disappointed there was some mocking involved). Thankfully you came to the rescue Jarifa with "She creates an empty mudra (ritual gesture) with her hands and moves them to create the love mudra" which was another example of your superior language skills. Veronica Jaspeado looks amazing and I cannot wait for the rest of her storyline to unravel.

I loved how supportive Joaquín was to Dani as he "... softly tells her that her parents never have left. They are with here with her in her heart, in each memory, in every smile they shared". Vero's "All the love they gave her didn't go with them" was so encouraging. Too bad Bruno wasn't allowed to go.

So relieved Joaquin didn't change his mind on firing Facundo. Mealy mouthed Ivan should not only have outright refused Facundo's insistence he convince Joaquin to hire him back, but he should have come clean with Joaquin about the money he took as it's sure to come out in the end.

"Mario, looking fine" was exactly right! What was the point of all the shots of the back of his head and closeups of his mouth and chin? There was no third eye in the middle of his forehead (that I could detect 😊) so what gives?? Figures he and Kassandra got together. Like seeks like.

Romina looked gorgeous in her seafoam green. It was so touching as she saw how Vale's mannerisms mimicked Vero's.

Nico's roman collar was very much in evidence tonight. He and Lorena are catching up quickly but his saying she "was the love of his life" sounded wistful and regretful.

Writers, let Nayeli's symptoms be a red herring. No pregnancy please!

Well, we had a good run there, but the last few episodes have been pretty choppy and nonsensical. In lieu of the endless flashbacks and baby pictures, it would be useful to spend some time on actual plot points, such as...

How did Ines know that Andro was going to Aramis's penthouse? (And why does she care? She just tried to kill a BABY.)

And for that matter, how could Andro miss her at such short range? She dropped 14 of her Dad's associates in 10 minutes in Buenos Aires -- are we supposed to think she had second thoughts about shooting Ines? NOBODY likes Ines. She's like the most expendable character EVER.

Now Franco and Sofia want to have a baby...! What happened to that wandering womb? Seriously, what happened to it? She went into the hospital to have it removed, and then in all the excitement everybody just forgot it was in there?

It looks like it was Salvador who pulled the trigger at the press conference. Isn't there the least bit of emotional fallout after you put your current girlfriend's ex-suegro and your ex-girlfriend's current suegro in a coma? Or at least a conversation about it...with someone?

If Aramis has so much influence in the prison, why did the big fight just peter out? And how does Gonzalo still have that little ponytail? If I were in a prison gang, the first thing I'd do is slap that right off him.

Emma finally called Rulo on his inconsiderate treatment of Limon. Everyone who knows the truth is giving him stern looks, but why has no one mentioned the fact that marrying someone that is not of your preferred gender is going to lead to a really yucky honeymoon?
