Acorralada #155 Thursday 8/23/07 Filler episode

Quickie recap here:

This episode seems to be all filler, except for Max now asks Marcela to be his girlfriend. Before that, Godmom begged him not to lead the poor girl on, she's so innocent, trusting, goodnatured, etc.

Gaby tries to tells Larry that Chucky is sleeping with Kickme, but he doesn't believe her. However, somewhere in the dim recesses of our Lunkhead's mind, he knows something is not right with Chucky, so there are a few scenes where he seems to be showing some doubt and doesn't play right into her hands.

Granny DS comes home and plays with her dolls.

Everybody is going around wondering where Fiona is. Parallel plot on Amar, where everyone is wondering where Paco is!

Pancho tries to shoot Emilio, but Caramelo shields him with her body. He can't shoot her, so he lets them go. I guess Caramelo is finally going to go with Emilio.

Acorralada #154 – Wednesday 8-22-07 – Mucks Becomes a Free Agent!

Iggy has come to visit Octopus. He wants to know why she won't kiss him on the lips. She tells him it wouldn't be right to do that in front of her kids. She must be discreet. Right! Anyway, Iggy wants to set a wedding date because he is "crazy" about her and wants to get married ASAP. Meanwhile Octopus thinks to herself how she can't wait to kill him with rat poison the way she killed her first hubby, Horacio.

Puncho tries to kiss Caramel but she jumps out of his reach. At first they fight about her being with Emili-Oh; Puncho says Emili-Oh is not a man. Caramel sets Puncho straight. Not only is Emili-Oh a man, he's noble! Since the strong-arm tactic didn't work, now he's turning on the waterworks. He needs her love to help him change. "Let’s run away together!" Caramel is thinking about it.

Emili-Oh is pouring out his heart to Little Doormat and Fidiota. "Caramel still loves Puncho." Pobre de Emili-Oh. Gaby and Fidiota encourage him to fight for Caramel.

Marfil and Mucks are arguing as always. Mucks wants a divorce. For some unknown reason, Marfil wants him back. She accuses first Camila then Dimwit of stealing his love. He explains he fell out of love with her "while she was sleeping." No one stole his love. She says she agreed to help him with his plans of vengeance in return for them getting back together. Who the heck cares?

Iggy is walking on cloud nine. He and Octopus are getting married in two weeks! Camila is beside herself. "Where am I going to live? Octopus hates me! I can't live with my brother Emili-Oh because he lives with Dimwit and Dimwit hates me!" Iggy says that's not his problem. It's hard to track the conversation because Camila is wearing some extremely dorky-looking reading glasses. They almost look like swimming goggles. What gives? "You are a cretin!" shouts Camila. "I hope Mucks throws you out in the street!" "Mucks?" asks Iggy incredulously. Orchestra of Doom.

More of Marfil pleading with Mucks. Mucks puts it in no uncertain terms. He does not love her. He will never love her again. He doesn't need her help with putting his enemies in jail. Etc. Marfil tearfully agrees to give him a divorce. She's tired of fighting.

Lala wants Dimwit to reconsider her (Dimwit's) position against Mucks. Mucks really loves her! I am so sick of everyone forgetting that Mucks is a rapist! Anyway, Marcela is taking Godmum from the hospital. Dimwit wants to know what gives. You can cut the tension between Marcela and Dimwit with a knife. Doc V shows up and wants to talk. Marcela says, "Thanks, but no thanks," as she steers Godmum out the door. Dimwit looks confused. Doc V tells Dimwit Marcela confessed to being in love with Mucks. Commercial.

Mucks is still wearing those hideous white shoes. Octopus is back to wearing one of her Charlie's Angels outfits. Mucks tells Octopus Marfil has agreed to the divorce. Octopus wants to know if Mucks plans on marrying Dimwit. "Alas, things are over between Dimwit and me." Octopus can hardly contain her excitement. Mucks then wants to know where Octopus and Iggy plan to live. "Don't you worry about that. I don't think the marriage will last that long." Mucks doesn't know what she's talking about, but doesn't really push for an explanation. After Mucks leaves, Octopus reminds us she plans to kill Iggy on their wedding night.

Octopus walks up to Marfil, who is sobbing on the dock. Octopus wants to know why Marfil has given up on Mucks so easily. She needs to be strong. Marfil says there's nothing she can do about it and stalks off. She's lost Mucks forever. I don't think Octopus has any pupils.

Iggy starts pressing Camila to explain why she called Alejandro "Mucks." Are you hiding something from me? Camila says she meant Alejandro; of course she's not hiding anything from him. Iggy starts getting aggressive and grabbing Camila's arms. She calls him a brute and stomps off. The hamster starts running on the wheel of Iggy's brain. "Could Alejandro and Mucks be the same? That would be very bad for me indeed!"

Pasta is ranting to Yolanda about Caramel caring for that delinquent, Puncho. "What is she thinking? She's going to get in trouble!" Yolanda tells Pasta to have faith in God. Pasta says how good and sweet Yolanda is. He starts to zoom in for a kiss and Yolanda panics and bolts out the door. "This is just crazy!" she cries.

Dimwit tells Doc V she wants nothing to do with Mucks.

Lunkhead and ChewKey are frolicking on the beach. ChewKey can't wait for Lunkhead to visit her at Psycho Mansion. Lunkhead says he doesn't want to visit. ChewKey assures him Fidiota doesn't mind, but Lunkhead doesn't want to do that to Little Doormat. ChewKey refers to Little Doormat as a largartija (lizard) and Lunkhead tells her to be nice. She then tells Lunkhead Little Doormat calls her ChewKey. Lunkhead thinks it's funny and ChewKey tells him to quit laughing, it's NOT funny. He says there's no way Gaby could be right; ChewKey is truly an angel. ChewKey smiles, flirts, and thinks to herself "If only Lunkhead knew the truth that I'm really a fichita (delinquent) who has smuggled jewelry in LA!"

Mucks tells Marcela Marfil has agreed to a divorce. Marcela says now Mucks is free to fall in love with someone new and start a new life. If it's not Dimwit, perhaps it will be with someone else. Marcela then apologizes for saying stupid things. Mucks assures her what she says makes sense; it's just that if he can't have Dimwit, he doesn't want anyone else. Godmum then shows up saying she's heard voices. She wants to know what Marcela and Mucks are talking about.

Doc V asks Dimwit if she truly doesn't care about Marcela being in love with Mucks. Dimwit assures him she couldn't care less. Doc V responds that Dimwit appears to have been badly wounded by love. Dimwit excuses herself to check on patients.

Yolanda returns to Lunkhead's house in tears. She flashes back to the "almost kiss" and freaks out again. "No, no, no! Pasta is off limits to me!" Right on cue, Octopus shows up and announces Mucks has asked Marfil for a divorce and Marfil agreed.

ChewKey continues to spin her web around Lunkhead. He wants to leave so he can study his lines. She whines and flirts some more. They kiss, and while their lips are locked, Kick Me shows up. "Finally! You're no longer interested in my wife!" Kick Me grins; ChewKey looks satisfied.

Mucks tells Godmum that Marcela is a great secretary. She has taught him so many things, such as patience.

Fidiota reads in the paper Octopus and Iggy are getting married. She tells Little Doormat she's going to disrupt the wedding. She probably wouldn't be so quick to disrupt it if she knew Octopus was planning on murdering Iggy. . .

Octopus is going over her plans to kill Iggy on their wedding night.

Godmum is asking Mucks all sorts of personal questions about Dimwit. Marcela begs Godmum to stop. Mucks is turning into a squirmy worm and takes his ubiquitous white shoes and leaves the room. Marcela reprimands Godmum. I'm not sure why Godmum is doing this, but she apparently has a motive. I'm just too tired to play the scene over and over to figure it out.

Looks like Granny DS is getting sprung from the hospital tomorrow. She wants Mucks to take her home; Mucks and Dimwit together. Glassy-eyed stare! Love theme plays.

Macho posturing between Kick Me and Lunkhead. Kick Me says he's glad to see Lunkhead has a new girlfriend. ChewKey lays it on thick and heavy. Lunkhead looks disgusted and leaves. ChewKey is mad; she was enjoying Lunkhead's kisses and Kick Me ruined everything. Kick Me says, "I'm going to show you I can kiss better than him!" He then starts devouring her face. Blech!

Fidiota is going on and on about her plan. Gaby points out it's only going to start another war with Octopus. Fidiota reminds Gaby the war never ended. Fidiota plans to have Iggy leave Octopus standing at the altar; Dimwit is going to help her.

Godmum tries to tell Marcela that Mucks is using her (Marcela), but Marcela doesn't care. "Perhaps by some miracle Mucks will fall in love with me."

Fidiota tries to enlist Dimwit's help in getting Iggy to stand up Octopus. Dimwit's thinking about it in her glassy-eyed, head-tilting way.

Godmum is still campaigned for Marcela to give up on Mucks. Marcela won't back down.

Fidiota is once again prostituting her daughter. She wants Dimwit to call Iggy and lure him to a hotel. After all, Iggy has always had the hots for Dimwit. Dimwit says last time she pulled that stunt, Iggy and Mucks almost came to blows. She then asks Fidiota if Fidiota truly intends for her to seduce Iggy; "Of course not! Over my dead body!" replies Fidiota. It's nice to know Fidiota has scruples. Dimwit then wants to know about the second part of the plan.

Pedro wants to get Mucks to quit drinking. Mucks is turning into a drunk. "Are you doing this because of Dimwit?" Mucks barks at Pedro and says he doesn’t want to hear the "D" word. He wants to drink himself to death. I wish he would.

Yolanda and Lunkhead are sharing a chilly dinner with Octopus. They are trying to talk her out of marrying Iggy.

At first I thought it was a flashback, but maybe not. It may be choppy editing. Marfil is thinking she has already killed Princess Fi and Dimwit will be next on the hit list if she (Dimwit) gets back together with Mucks. A lawyer brings Marfil divorce papers on the dock. Octopus tells her not to sign the divorce papers.

Fidiota and ChewKey fight about the lousy job ChewKey is doing at Perfumes 'R Us. For now, Fidiota isn't going to talk to Roddy.

Against Octopus' wishes, Marfil signs the divorce papers. She assures Octopus Dimwit will never return to Mucks.

Pasta calls Yolanda to apologize for almost kissing her. It was an impulse. Yolanda thinks it's best to let it go.

Dulce tries to talk Dimwit into forgiving Mucks. "When you have a love as grand as you two have, you can always forgive the other person. "Not after what he's done!" replies Dimwit. Dimwit walks out and is confronted by Marfil. Marfil tells her Mucks is now a free man.

Credits roll.

Acorralada #153 Tuesday 8/21/07 A lemon-sucking entreaty is no match for a glassy-eyed head-tilt

Max gets the real results of Fiona's pregnancy test from Camila, who has suddenly started wearing weird eyeglasses. Is she trying to mirror Max's behavior?

Diana is still treating Pancho's wounds. She promises not to turn him in.

Max is wondering why he hasn't heard about Diana to confirm their appointment. He decides to drive Marcela to the hospital to visit her Godmom.

Fedora talks to Gaby. She is sorry to see Gaby upset. Duh, it's all your fault! Doormat says it's important that Chucky gets along with Fedora so Fedora's marriage works out. Ugh! I can't stand it!

Man boobs alert! Over on the beach, Kiki is calling his detective, who is taking incriminating pictures of Fedora.

Marfil calls Diego and they trade various threats. She is relaxing poolside in a new green bathing suit and drinking a Cosmo. She tosses her head in her usual imperious way, sure that she is not guilty at all--he is the only killer, because he drove the tractor. He reminds her that she threw Fiona in the hole, etc.

Max now meets with Diana. She has traded her pink nurse's uniform for a strange black tank top with beads dangling in front in some fake attached necklace look. This is really cheesy.
He goes on and on with a boring plea for forgiveness. His manner is so smarmy I can hardly watch.

Caramelo leaves the warehouse, but she will go back to bring food and supplies for Pancho. After she leaves, Pancho sprawls on the bed and calls Fedora for more bucks.

Gaby warns her mother that it is too dangerous for her to go see Pancho.

Max and Diana toast each other with whiskey. How romantic! He begs 1,000 pardons. Yes, he took her with brute force, but it's because he felt such passion when he thought of her with Diego. She seems to be weakening. Ugh. I feel sick.

The hired detective takes pictures of Fedora.

Paco fumes at Caramelo for going to see Pancho. He really seems about to blow a gasket.

Max is still apologizing. We are still rolling our eyes.

Pancho and Fedora meet. He wants her to help him escape the U.S. and go to Santo Domingo. If she doesn't help him, he will take down Sharon and Diana as accomplices in his crimes. Once again, the twisted logic of this threat escapes me, because he would have to report himself. He could just hide out and not report them . . . In general, when I see plots in mystery novels or TV shows that include blackmail, I always feel that the victim should call the blackmailer's bluff. The blackmailer always has nothing to gain by revealing whatever it is he/she holds over the head of the victim, so there is no incentive, hence, and empty threat.

Fedora says she will help, but he should not come looking for any more help with anything else. Until never, she says. He smirks.

Back to more pathetic apologizing from Max. He shows her the paper about Fiona's pregnancy test. That changes nothing, Diana says. He looks dejected.

Paco is still blowing up at Carameloa.

Kike has heard from the detective. Sharon is thrilled about the results. She now reveals her background as a jewel thief. Kike is surprised. How could she not have told him before?
She covers by saying she was waiting for proof. He says perfecto, as he really wants to get back at Fedora for--get this--failing to make Gaby love him!
He scowls menacingly.

Fedora and Gaby ponder what to do next. Gaby should ponder the VPL shown by the ugly yellow dress she is wearing.

Sharon wants to go talk to her Papito right away, but wise Kike counsels patience.

Diana is back in her nurse's uniform, tending to Pancho. He grabs her, warning her not to betray him. He tells her about Sharon. He is worthless, she says. He asks her if she still loves Max. No, she says. Well, she will suffer for how she made his brother suffer, for not loving his brother. You and Max will never be together!

Max goes to see Paco. He finds out that Fiona has not been home. He tells Paco about the pregnancy test.

Dr. V is asking Marcela to get married next Saturday. I wonder if that is more or less than three days. She says she can't marry him at all.

Granny M asks Diana how the meeting with Max went. Granny M has completely forgotten her outrage of last week and is pushing Diana toward Max.

Marfil flashes back at the Fiona murder. Fiona revealed she was not pregnant. Too late, said Marfil. She remembers her dead mother fondly by quoting her words of wisdom: "As Bruno would say, always kill the rabid dog." (I am really not sure what the proverb meant.)
Talking to an imaginary Fiona, she says, you were always an obstacle. In the next life, don't be so stupid!

Octy is discussing Iggy with Marfil. Marfil wonders how she could marry the man who tried to kill her son. Octy reveals too much--her plot to get rid of Iggy.

Dr. V. and Marcela still talking. He says he has patience to wait for her, but she says she doesn't love him and can't marry him at all.

Conveniently, who shows up at the hospital but Maxi Maxi. He is wearing his best white shoes and tight beige pants. What a chick magnet!

Caramelo feeds Pancho. He begs her to forgive him. They had good times at first. No, she says. We were never happy, because you were always cheating. Now I love Emilio.

Max and Diana talking again. They had good things together.

Max sees Marfil and demands a divorce. What? Now we get a lengthy recap of Marfil's two years in a coma, etc. I won't bore anyone with a recap. She will not divorce him, as he will run straight to Diana. No, he won't, he says. Diana won't have him.

Pancho tells Caramelo that Gaviota is going to help him. Caramelo is surprised. Oh, it's because I threatened her. He wants her to come to the DR with him. He will change everthing and play baseball (at least he has given up those harem fantasies). He tries to kiss her.

The other doctor is talking to Granny DS, who is now walking. Diana is pleased too. Granny reminds us her of dollies again. She misses Larry, Paola, and Max. Oy, she doesn't seem to know about Paola. She asks Diana when she is going to marry Max.

Yolanda leaves, and Iggy comes in. He greets his great love, Octy. Let's set a date for the wedding, he says. She thought bubbles that she's going to kill him like her first husband.

Credits roll.

Acorralada #152 Monday 8/20/07

Pancho's in bad shape... he's been shot in the leg and his partner in crime not only refuses to get him a doctor, but he takes off with his share of the money from the bank robbery. Caramelo begs Paco to help him, but Paco tells her to get bent. She runs off to his hideout to help him.

Meanwhile, Diego tells Marfil over the phone that he'll have Fiona meet him at a construction site where there won't be any witnesses. Immediately after he kills Fiona, Marfil better turn over the mask. After they hang up, each talks about a plan to betray the other. She doesn't intend to return the mask, and he knows it, so he'll kill her after he kills Fiona. This guy gets bolder and dumber by the day!

The doorbell rings and Fiona comes in. She needs Diego's help with creating a false document that will show lab results saying she's pregnant. Diego is impactado. Fiona needs the doc so that Max will divorce Marfil and marry her, and since Diego has so many connections because of his being a piano teacher, he must be able to help her. He finally agrees, and tells her to meet him at a construction site at 9:30. She thinks it's odd, but she's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, so she agrees to meet him there.

Max is still trying to smooth things over with Diana, but she's holding out. He starts to make progress, but makes the mistake of calling her Azucena, which unleashes her wrath. But you know he doesn't back down... he continues to whisper sweet nothings until she agrees to meet with him alone the next day.

Caramelo arrives at the hideout where she finds Pancho a bloody mess and sees that his wound is infected, but he won't let her call an ambulance because he'll go back to jail. He convinces her that she'll need to operate to save him!

Fiona arrives at the construction site and is wandering aimlessly in a black satin blouse and dress pants calling Diego's name. She's surprised when Marfil greets her. Marfil tells her that Diego has betrayed her, and she plans to kill her so that she can't have Max's baby. Fiona turns to run and we see Diego climb into the driver's seat of a Caterpillar.

Caramelo disinfects a knife over an open flame and pours some rum over the wound, then digs around until she finds the bullet. Pancho passes out from the pain.

Next we see Fiona running through mud in dress shoes with Marfil, also wearing pumps, hot on her heels. Which makes me wonder - if you know you're going to a construction site with the intent to attack someone, wouldn't you wear some sturdy shoes? I digress. Soon both ladies are rolling in mud, but Marfil gets the better of Fiona and manages to throw her into a ravine. Fiona swears that she's not really pregnant, but Marfil doesn't believe her. She gives Diego the command and he starts up the Caterpillar and buries Fiona alive. My favorite part of this scene is when they replace Fiona with a dummy with a really cheap looking wig.

Marfil is thrilled with the results and tells Diego that she'll give him the mask tomorrow. He laughs and tells her he doesn't believe her, and now he'll handle her the same way that he handled Fiona. Then he starts up the Caterpillar and drives towards her. She turns to run - it's a sad run, really, and she doesn't get far before she falls on her butt and proceeds to crawl backwards in the mud while the Caterpillar is headed straight for her. Suddenly she finds a huge rock and throws it at him - WHAM! Bullseye! She hits him right in the melon and he's out cold! We knew Marfil wouldn't go down like this.

Diego wakes up and finds that Marfil is gone. He goes to where Fiona is buried and apologizes to her. He says he had no reason to kill her, it was just a question of survival. But no worries - her death won't be in vain. Marfil will be punished. Isn't it a shame how evil the sweet piano teacher has become?

Marfil arrives at casa Irazabal and doesn't bother to change clothes or bathe before she pours herself a stiff drink and talks to herself loudly about what's happened, waking Octavia in the process. Octavia wants to know what's going on - why is she so dirty and nervous? Marfil tells her that someone tried to attack her and she fell, and doesn't want to talk about it.

Just when I thought I was going to get to see a whole episode sans Chucky, we see her sitting on the bed in some kind of yoga pose chanting to herself that Larry will fall in love with her. Rod knocks on the door and saccharine Sharon returns. I don't know which one I hate more - Chucky or Saccharine Sharon. They're both pretty annoying.

Kike asks Fedora what she thinks about Larry and Sharon being novios. She looks uncomfortable as she sits with her arms around Gaby. Kike says that it appears that Larry is starting to fall for Sharon, as she reaches over and pulls Gaby to him. Little Doormat is always being controlled by someone, isn't she? Kike says that he's surprised that Fedora is allowing an Irazabal into the house. Just as he says this, Roddy enters and says that of course she's allowing it because she wants Sharon to be happy. Fedora looks as stiff as a board as he says this. Watching this scene makes me realize that this entire novela is like an infomercial against marriage.

Caramelo is concerned that Pancho won't wake up and he has a fever. She prays that he'll survive, then calls Diana the super nurse for assistance. Diana offers to call an ambulance, but Caramelo says she can't do that. He'll go back to jail. Caramelo wants Diana to come and help him. Diana the dunce agrees to go, and asks Sylvia to get her black bag. Since when do nurses carry black bags? Anyway, she shows up with Emilio in tow, puts her hair back in a pony tail, dons her latex gloves, and gets to work. Emilio is upset that Caramelo is still trying to help Pancho after all that he's done. This prompts a sermon from Diana about how we all know what a rotten scoundrel Pancho is, but in these moments we must forget about all of that. Pancho wakes and asks her not to let him die.

Camila calls Max and lets him know that Fiona was never pregnant, it was all a lie. Tomorrow she will provide him with the documentation so he can see it for himself. Max thinks that with the results in his hands, it will be easier to get Diana to forgive him. Apparently he's forgotten about the RAPE. Has everyone forgotten about the RAPE?

Throughout Monday's episode, we see Diana and Max telling different people about their upcoming meeting. It's too boring to recap. Marcela hopes Diana doesn't forgive him, Lala and Sylvia hope that she does.

Acorralada #151 Friday 8/17/07

We open with a reprise of Max and Marfil's endless argument.

Also, we're back at Granny DS's bedside. Octy is insisting the Granny go to a nursing home, and Diana insists that Max would never allow it. Oops! Iggy did not know about Max.

Chucky is leering evilly at a photo of Fedora. She hatches a plan that makes about as much sense as any of the plans in this show. Kike has seen Fedora visiting Pancho at the warehouse. If he tells Roddy about it, it will be the end of Fedora. "Papito" will think that Fed is cheating with Pancho. What fun it is to make them break up. But isn't she worried about alienating Kike herself with her new attachment to Larry? I hope Kike gets violent with her eventually.

Gaby calls Chucky a "higadito," or little liver? I suppose it's some kind of insult to call someone a liver. In response, Chucky says she is filled with bilis, or bile. Chucky accuses Gaby of jealousy, and then she begins her usual singsong taunt: Larry's coming over, and he wants to see me, and I'm going to kiss him. Then she tells Gaby "don't mess with me, cretin, or you'll find out who I am." Gaby says she already knows. Pobre de Gaby.

Back to Granny's bedside. Diana recovers by saying she meant to say Larry would never allow it. Just then Larry comes in. He tells Iggy not to butt in. Octy calls Diana a marginal, which appears to mean marginal, but must have a more negative connotation, e.g., a muerta de hambre. Granny tells Octy where she could go.

Diana is in some office and Marfil comes in. They continue their endless boring dialog about Max. Just then, wouldn't you know it, but Diana feels dizzy. Wow, big surprise. The one-sex-act-leads-to-pregnancy gods are working double time in her case. Doctor V comes in. I guess he's no longer going to rely on the emotional fever diagnosis. He wants to do blood tests, but she won't allow it. She's just tired.

Lala and Fedora are waxing rhapsodic over the ugly plant that Roddy brought. It still has that ugly foil wrapper on the outside, and they don't bother to remove it. Isn't it wonderful that she is falling in love with Roddy and forgetting Paco. Chucky observes from outside the door.

Maricela and godmother have another one of their boring conversations about Max. Maricela describes what he looks like. This long scene is broken into by literally just a flash of Pancholon talking about a bank robbery he is planning. Godmother points out that Max has a big love that is very strong. She advises that Maricela still marry Dr. V.

Gaby goes to the bar to hang out with her friends Silvita and the trannies. They cheer her up by doing a Miss Venezuela spoof, complete with a rendition of the great Broadway anthem "A Wonderful Day Like Today" sung in Spanish. I love the trannies, and I love the way Silvia turned into a nice girl who has two good friends in Gaby and Diana despite her quirks. Gaby thanks them for making her smile and forget her troubles.

Mariposa and the girls fantasize about throwing Sharon out on her ass using karate, but Sharon wins. Back to the drawing board.

Sharon is whining at Larry that he must come to the mansion. He doesn't want to because of all the reasons we know. He reluctantly agrees.

Shirtless man alert! Max and Larry jogging together on the beach, both sin camisas!
They rehash as usual. Sharon will help Larry forget Gaby.

Fedora is now comforting DS at the hospital. Don't worry, DS, you'll be able to come home to the mansion, she says. Good thing, says DS, because her dolls miss her.

Diego speaks to a photo of Diana. He wants to get her off his chest (?) (arrancarte de mi pecho)
(Arrancar is pull up, as by the roots.) He loves and hates her. He can't love another. He wanted to love Marfil, but he couldn't. He has a grand and sick love for Diana! No kidding!

Iggy and Camila are sitting on the beach. She is wearing an itsy bitsy teeny weeny black and white polka dot bikini and a red cowboy hat. Why doesn't Octy have him on a short leash? He is too tall for his sand chair and sits with his knees perched awkwardly in the air. He's still trying to figure out the Max/Alejandro situation. He gets the numbskull award now. Suddenly, he sees Fiona and Max/Alejandro kissing nearby. Why would Max kiss Fiona? Camila gets on the cellhorn to Marfil immediately. Marfil in turn calls Diego to inquire why he hasn't killed Fiona yet. She is tired of waiting. He claims that the situation has not been right yet--it has to be exactly right. She will report him to the authorities for his other killings if he doesn't do this one fast!

Fiona meanwhile thought bubbles about her need for a fake pregnancy certificate.

Silvia and Caramelo go to the bank to cash Silvia's first paycheck. She is very excited that she has received her first payment as a performer. In honor of the occasion, she has donned her orange fiberoptic cable wig. You don't have to be a genius to know that Pancho's about to rob this bank! Yes, he comes in in a Tootsie version of a burka. He is wearing a Muslim headdress with eyeliner and a dress with large fake boobs underneath. No matter: Caramelo would recognize her true love anywhere. Pancholon, she cries! He and his accomplice (in full burnoose) call out for everyone to freeze, etc. Maybe they should yell "Attica! Attica!" But I digress.

Over at the Munsters' house, Larry has arrived for the infamous lunch. Sharon is exulting in exaggerated phony way about how happy she is with him. She is learning all about the world of the "farandula," or theater, stage, entertainment. Gee, she could have asked Silva and the trannies! Lal and Granny M roll their eyes. Fedora looks uncomfortable. Mr. and Mrs. Kick-me come in. Kick-me holds Gaby in the usual stranglehold he uses when they appear together as a couple.

Max calls Maricela to ask her to eat lunch on the beach.

Silvia is upset that the robbers are going to take her first sueldo (paycheck).

Kick-me asks Larry if Larry and Sharon are more than just friends. Yes, he says. He asks Roddy if she can be his novia. I don't get the meaning of novia/novio. Sometimes it means boyfriend/girlfriend. Sometimes fiance. Sometimes bride and groom. It's in the early stages of relationships that I am sometimes fooled on these shows.

Maricela and Max talk about his strong love for Diana.

Yolanda pushes Diana to take Max back again. You never know with men, she says. If Diana rejects him, he'll go to another. Diana says she doesn't care. Yolanda says she is lying to herself.

At the beach, Max asks Marcela if she has had any boyfriends. She tells him about Dr. V. She hasn't had any others, because she was working 15 hours a day as a hairdresser. Her godmother wants her to marry Dr. V. Max advises her not to do it if she doesn't love him. I know the hell of a loveless marriage, he says. Would you like to be with Diana? she asks. Yes, he replies.

Back at the bank, the guards shoot Pancho, but he escapes.

Mucosa is laying it on thick about their delicious lunch, and how Larry can come over anytime.
Kiki says that he not only can come for lunch but to use the gym and the pool. What fun the two young couples will have, Sharon whoops with enthusiasm.

Max continues his weird platonic wooing of Maricela. He invites her to play golf and tennis or some such.

Diana thought bubbles Yolanda's last warning: Max could love another! Orchestra of doom/or Diana/Max love theme.

Larry thanks Kiki and Sharon for the invite. SFedora gives her a piece of jewelry from Fedora's own mother. Sharon is just like one of her daughters. haron thanks everyone effusively. She is so phony it's nauseating. I have a cousin who always does this at family outings, and my mother and I always follow with the international symbol for gagging me with a spoon. I do the same here.

Paco and Lorenzo are conveniently discussing Caramelo and Pancho. Looks like she has forgotten him finally! Just in time for Caramelo to rush in and announce the robbery. She clearly wants to go after Pancho or something like that. No, says her father.

Marfil is lounging by the pool in her gypsy bikini getup. Diego rings in with a plan to kill Fiona.

Sharon continues to taunt Gaby. Then Larry plans to go visit Granny DS at the hospital. Saccharine Sharon begs to go along.

Max comes to the hospital to see Diana. They give glassy-eyed stares at each other as the credits roll.

Acorralada #150 Thursday 8-16-07 – Mucks v. Dimwit Revisited!!! I'm Appalled!!!

A continuation of the kiss between Mucks and Marcela. Godmum walks into the room and asks if Marcela is there. She and Pedro have been waiting in the dining room. Mucks excuses himself and Godmum wants to know if something is going on between Marcela and Alejandro. Marcela reminds Godmum that Alejandro's real name is Mucks, and Mucks is totally in love with Dimwit. Godmum says Mucks in nothing but trouble and thinks Marcela should marry Doc V. I think Marcela really believes Mucks' feelings for Dimwit can be changed.

Emili-Oh tells Dimwit it must have been hard seeing Mucks at the hospital. Dimwit admits it was.

Pedro wants to know how things went at the hospital when Mucks was face to face with Dimwit. Mucks says things were very tense. He continues whining about how tormented he has been for raping Dimwit. Pedro counsels Max to continue begging for forgiveness.

Lunkhead is chastising Octopus for agreeing to marry Iggy. He storms out and says if he ever sees Iggy at the house, he'll punch Iggy's lights out. Octopus says he'll do no such thing. The Big Doormat is also aghast that Octopus has agreed to marry the man who tried to kill Mucks. "Don't worry, hermana," says Octopus, "I have my own plans for Iggy. I'm going to kill him like I killed my hubby Horacio all those years ago." Orchestra of Doom.

We have the Addams family sitting around in the living room; Granny M, Little Doormat, Mocosa, Fidiota, and Roddy. Mocosa says she's totally in love with Lunkhead. When they hang out at the beach, she's the envy of all the girls. She'd really like to have Lunkhead visit her at Psycho Mansion. Roddy jumps in and begs Fidiota to allow it. Meanwhile, Mocosa tells everyone how virtuous she is. Fidiota caves; Mocosa gloats; Roddy beams; and Little Doormat's big doe eyes water as her lip quivers. Mocosa runs off to give Lunkhead the good news.

Mocosa is sitting at the desk with her gold CFM boots propped up. She calls Lunkhead to give him the good news. Lunkhead says he could use some good news after his dinner. He suggests they go out, but Mocosa convinces him decent guys would come to her house. Lunkhead finally agrees.

Roddy thanks Fidiota for agreeing to allow Lunkhead's visit. Fidiota says she's only doing it for his and Mocosa's sake, so Mocosa will feel she belongs. Roddy says it seems Fidiota appears to be falling in love with him finally. Fidiota agrees. Roddy is glad Fidiota is finally forgetting. . .

Princess Fi is telling Caramel and Pasta about the showdown with Marfil. Caramel warns Princess Fi to be careful; Marfil is capable of anything. Princess Fi says she's not afraid. She's as much a fiera as Marfil; she's not a spineless wimp like Dimwit. She's willing to fight tooth and nail for Mucks.

Emili-Oh is trying to counsel Dimwit about Max. Dimwit is still conflicted.

Pasta once again warns Princess Fi to be careful.

Dimwit and Granny DS are having a heart-warming talk. Every time Granny DS wakes up, Dimwit is with her. Because of Dimwit's care she's getting better. The hospital room door opens and in walks Mucks with a bunch of yellow roses. He tries to hide behind them. No surprise. Dimwit tries to leave but Mucks begs her to stay. They need to talk.

Beefcake shot! Lunkhead is in a very tight bathing suit on the dock. Marfil is lounging there as well. He asks if Marfil believes Princess Fi is pregnant. Marfil says it's something that can be found out easily enough, but Princess Fi will never have Mucks. Lunkhead then talks about Iggy and Diablo getting their just rewards from Mucks. Marfil thinks to herself she could care less about Iggy and Diablo, as long as Diablo kills Princess Fi first.

Mucks follows Dimwit out of the room and grabs her arm. They fight as usual. He begs for forgiveness; she calls him a sleazebag womanizer. He then drags her into an office and she asks him if he plans to rape her again. He says something about the irony not being lost on him. "No, I just want to talk!" She tries to leave and he blocks the door and continues to grab her arms. More fighting as he grovels for forgiveness, how he can't live with himself for what he's done. He then grabs and holds her, while he forcefully kisses her. Dimwit stops fighting and kisses him back!!! I'm speechless!!! I'm aghast!!! This show is disgusting!!! I want to throw the remote through the TV screen.

Kick Me brings Mocosa to Perfumes 'R Us. He tells Mocosa about seeing Fidiota at an abandoned building. Mocosa doesn't care; she only wants to split up Fidiota and Roddy. Kick Me leaves and Beatriz tells Mocosa Fidiota is in her office with Roddy. He's just brought Fidiota a beautiful plant. Mocosa sneers.

Mocosa walks in on Roddy and Fidiota kissing. Fidiota gushes about the beautiful plant. Roddy suggests they grab some food at the cafeteria. After they leave, Mocosa spies Fidiota's purse. She figures she can help herself to some checks and forge Fidiota's name. She's clutching the checkbook when Fidiota suddenly walks back in and catches her. Fidiota demands, "What are you doing with my purse?" Mocosa is impactada.

Iggy and Camila are discussing Iggy's plans to marry Octopus. If they're married, she won't be able to testify against him. Camila thinks to herself that Iggy is cruising for a bruising. Iggy asks if Camila thinks Alejandro will evict him if he doesn't pay.

Dimwit finally breaks free from Mucks and leaves the room, with Mucks in hot pursuit. Who should show up but Marfil. She wants to know what the heck is going on and why her hubby is running after THAT nurse. Mucks tries to explain Dimwit is the mother of his kid. Marfil then yells at him that apparently so is Princess Fi! Is he one of those macho Latinos that beds every woman that crosses his path? Lunkhead shows up and tries to quiet them down; after all, they're in a hospital. Finally Mucks tells Marfil he doesn't owe her any explanations and stomps off. Orchestra of Doom.

Mocosa talks her way out of getting caught with Fidiota's check book. Fidiota promises not to tell Roddy; it would hurt him, but she wants to know why Mocosa needs more money when she has a perfectly good job. Mocosa turns on the waterworks telling Fidiota how wonderful a person she is. As creepy as Fidiota has been in the past, it's kind of fun watching Mocosa manipulate her the way Fidiota has manipulated everyone else around her. One word; Karma!

Mucks is laying on the hospital bed with Granny DS. Marcela walks in and suggests they eat breakfast. Breakfast is one of the most important meals and Mucks needs to keep his strength up. She then apologizes for the kiss the evening before. It was just an impulse. Mucks tells her she's the best and kindest woman he's ever known; she says she's just returning the kindness he's shown for her and Godmum.

Now Mocosa is telling Fidiota that Puncho made her do it. Puncho made her steal the purse so he could forge Fidiota's name and cash the checks. Mocosa is afraid of Puncho! Lots of drama, but it works. Fidiota believes Mocosa's lies.

Lunkhead tells Marfil the family is NOT going to move Granny DS to another hospital just because Marfil is jealous of Dimwit.

Mocosa continues to work her story. Fidiota says there's no reason to steal; Mocosa just needs to ask her for money. "Now don't do it again!" Mocosa sniffles and says Fidiota is the best. Fidiota then suggests Mocosa take the rest of the day off. As Mocosa is leaving, behind Fidiota's back, she grins and pumps her arm, "Yesssss!" In the elevator she snarls, "Fidiota, you're an idiot!"

Octopus is thinking about her plans to kill Iggy when her phone rings. It's Iggy. He's telling her how excited he is about marrying her. She wants to go to the hospital to see Granny DS. Iggy agrees to pick her up. He holds the phone back and looks at it in disgust. He then swallows hard and says, "I love you!" "I love you, too!" chokes Octopus. Now this is a match made in heaven.

Mucks tells Lunkhead he "stole a kiss" from Dimwit. Lunkhead said that was a bad choice. Mucks is convinced one day Dimwit will forgive him.

Granny M is telling Dimwit to forgive Mucks for the rape. "It's obvious he loves you and is repentant." I missed the rest of the conversation because I was too busy throwing up.

Fidiota is talking to Gaby about the purse incident. Fidiota doesn't completely believe Mocosa's story. Mocosa is a horror and is going to wreck her marriage with Roddy.

Marfil and Mucks are standing in the lobby when Octopus and Iggy show up. Iggy wants to know why "Alejandro" is there with Mucks' widow. Orchestra of Doom.

Mucks says he and Marfil are just friends. He's not there to see Granny DS either. He just happens to be at the hospital to get the exam results of Godmum. Octopus plays along with Mucks and suggests she and Iggy go see Granny DS.

Dimwit tells Granny M she'll never forgive Mucks' brutality. We then see a flashback of the rape scene.

Marfil points out Iggy is either stoned or stupid if he doesn't realize Alejandro is truly Mucks.

Gaby wants Fidiota to tell Roddy how evil Mocosa is. Fidiota says Roddy will never believe her. True to form, Fidiota's Narcissism appears. She was happy with Pasta until Octopus ruined everything. Now she is just starting to love Roddy and Mocosa appears, ruining everything.

Mocosa and Kick Me are gloating about Mocosa's diabolical actions. Kick Me wonders why Fidiota was at the abandoned warehouse. All is well in their little worlds.

Granny DS is telling Octopus that she (Octopus) is a bad person. Granny DS doesn't remember Iggy, but if Iggy is with Octopus, he must be bad too. Suddenly Dimwit walks in with Granny M in tow. Granny DS is thrilled to see Granny M.

Marfil and Mucks are fighting about Dimwit. Marfil wants Mucks back. He wants her to quit nagging him.

Octopus wants to put Granny DS in a nursing home, but Granny DS doesn't want to go. Dimwit says "Don't worry, Mucks will never allow it!" "Mucks?" asks Iggy, "I thought Mucks was dead!" Orchestra of Doom!

Credits roll.

Acorralada #149 Wednesday 8-15-07 – Another Woman Falls at Mucks' Feet! What Gives?

Granny DS is in the hospital and doesn't want to die without seeing Dimwit with her rapist grandson. Dimwit and Mucks are standing side by side; Dimwit has tears streaming down her face. They don't want her to die. Their love theme plays.

Marfil is trying to talk Diablo into killing Princess Fi. Diablo claims he's not a killer. Marfil points out that just because he hasn't succeeded yet doesn't mean he isn't capable. After all, he kidnapped Mucks and stabbed Emili-Oh. They fight about it and Marfil struts off, "Just do it or I'll tell everyone about the fire!"

Fidiota tells Granny M she has an appointment and swears Granny M to secrecy. No one can know where she's going, especially her daughters and Roddy. Granny M swears to take it to her grave, but is concerned for Fidiota's safety. Kick Me overhears the conversation and wonders where Fidiota is off to. He's bound and determined to find out.

Sylvie, in one of her more normal-looking wigs, stumbles across Roddy. Roddy is out for a run on the beach. Sylvie is flirting up a storm. As if. Roddy asks Sylvie to befriend his daughter. Mocosa needs a friend to help her through the trauma of losing her mom. Sylvie agrees to help.

Dimwit is telling Mucks to leave Granny DS' room. Just as he's ready to walk out the door, Dimwit tells him to wait. Mucks is all excited that perhaps Dimwit has forgiven his raping her. Dimwit wants to know who burned down the manicomio.

Princess Fi is telling her hairdresser that yes, she (Princess Fi) is pregnant by Mucks. The hairdresser points out Marfil and Octopus are also clients and she finds it hard to believe. Right on cue, Marfil and Octopus show up. Princess Fi says, "Hello future mother-in-law!" Octopus and Marfil scowl.

Roddy meets Mocosa at the beach. She tells him she doesn't want to cause problems, but…she still feels like an outsider. She continues to weave her little web around Roddy until he says how good and wonderful she is. They hug and Mocosa cocks an eyebrow at the camera. Roddy is such a dupe.

Mucks fills Dimwit in about the night of the fire and how Iggy and Diablo are involved. He knows because he unmasked them. Dimwit wants them to pay, but Mucks stops her. She tells him Diablo is a psychopath. Mucks points out, "Aha! You're worried about me!" Dimwit says she isn't. After his brutality THAT night, her feelings for him died. Mucks shuffles out dejectedly.

Insults continue to be exchanged between Marfil and Princess Fi. Mayra, the beautician, tries to get them to calm down. Marfil wants Mayra to kick Princess Fi out.

Mocosa complains to Roddy that Fidiota won't let Mocosa's boyfriend, Lunkhead, come to the house to visit her. Roddy says he'll talk to Fidiota. Mocosa is all smiles and chants that Roddy is the best daddy in the whole wide world! Ugh!

Fidiota has come to visit Puncho at the warehouse. Kick Me has followed Fidiota and wants to know what she's doing at that place. Meanwhile, Puncho invites her to sit so they can chat in a civilized manner. I find it hard to believe Puncho knows anything about civilized manners.

Sylvie and Gaby are at the hospital when Lunkhead comes out. Sure enough Mocosa shows up and zeros in for a kiss with Lunkhead. Clueless Lunkhead goes along. Mocosa nasally drones on about how she came as soon as she could. She needs to be there to support him. Etc. Lunkhead suggests they go down to the cafeteria for a drink. After Mocosa and Lunkhead leave, Sylvie wants to know what up. Gaby tells Sylvie that Lunkhead is in love with "Chucky." "The devil doll?" asks Sylvie. Sylvie says they need to devise a plan to get rid of Mocosa. She talks about a war with grenades, but Gaby envisions Mocosa winning. We get to see this little comic sketch with Sylvie and Gaby in war paint, shooting at Mocosa with toy machine guns. Mocosa is firing back. They throw a grenade at Mocosa, who throws it back. Gaby and Sylvie get "blown up" and we see their hair all frazzled. Gaby decides a war won't work.

More insults are exchanged between Marfil and Princess Fi, until Mayra evicts Princess Fi from the salon. Princess Fi isn't happy.

Pedro is telling Marcela about how he passed Mucks off as his grandson. Marcela and her blind Godmum are in the garden. Pedro tells Marcela that Mucks really needs her; perhaps she can go to the hospital to support Mucks. "Don't worry; I'll take care of Godmum!" says Pedro.

Mucks is telling Tia Yo that he forced himself on Dimwit out of rage and jealousy; now Dimwit wants nothing to do with him. Tia Yo says no woman should be attacked like that. "Now you're going to have to really work hard at begging for forgiveness!"

Godmum is trying to warn Marcela. She doesn't want to see Marcela hurt by Mucks. Mucks is apparently tormented and loves Dimwit. Mucks and Dimwit even have a child together. Godmum is probably one of the smarter characters on this show. She tries to get Marcela to forget about Mucks, but Marcela won't listen. The only pain Marcela feels is for Godmum's suffering.

More of a showdown between Puncho and Fidiota. If Fidiota doesn't pay him, Puncho is going to tell Roddy Mocosa is a jewelry smuggler. Why does Fidiota care? Mocosa is nasty to Little Doormat, yet Fidiota wants to defend Mocosa? It's not like Fidiota even loves Roddy. But that would make sense and the writers are capable of anything BUT that.

Princess Fi storms into Pasta's Palace and tells him about the scene Marfil created in front of everyone at the salon. Pasta wonders if Princess Fi is sure she's pregnant. "Of course I am!"

Marfil is whining to Octopus about Princess Fi. She's tired of Mucks having kids with everyone but her. After Octopus leaves, Marfil calls Diablo. "When are you going to eliminate Princess Fi?" Diablo tells Marfil to quit bugging him. Marfil points out that Diablo's freedom is in her hands; if he doesn't kill Princess Fi, she'll turn Diablo over to the police.

Dimwit is still standing next to Granny DS's bed. The kindly older doctor suggests that Dimwit go home and get rest; her shift ended two hours ago. Dimwit would stay all night if it wasn't for her son. Reluctantly Dimwit leaves.

Lunkhead is lurking in the lobby. He tries to get Dimwit to give Mucks another chance. For now she's holding out. No second chances for Mucks.

Marcela is telling Mucks he can count on her to help with his plans of vengeance. He takes her hand to thank her and Dimwit walks in.

It's late and Fidiota is nowhere to be found. Roddy tries to get answers from Granny M, but Granny M is vague. Roddy makes Granny M promise to let him know when Fidiota arrives.

Kick Me doesn't want Lunkhead coming to the house. Mocosa points out the only reason she invited her "boyfriend" Lunkhead over is to make Little Doormat jealous. Suddenly Kick Me thinks Mocosa is wonderfully evil, which turns him on. They start making out.

Lunkhead tells the camera he hopes Mocosa can help him forget Little Doormat.

More conversation between Marcela and Mucks. After all the kindness he has shown her and Godmum, she'll do anything to help him. Mucks can count on her help, friendship, and love. "You're a dang fine woman!" says Mucks. I'm about ready to hack up a fur ball.

Mocosa is lying in bed next to Kick Me. I couldn't catch if she thinks he's good in bed, or if she's just using him to further her diabolical plans. Either is possible. She can't wait to get Lunkhead to marry her; Little Doormat will just turn gray with jealousy. She starts laughing to herself, which wakes up Kick Me. She tells Kick Me he'd better leave before they get caught together. Kick Me sneaks out of the room, but Gaby (who is hiding around the corner) catches him. She walks into Mocosa's room and insults are exchanged. Gaby calls Mocosa a tramp. Mocosa gloats that Lunkhead's going to be coming over to visit and she hopes Gaby and the witch Fidiota squirm. She loves making Gaby jealous. Gaby calls Mocosa "Chuky" and stomps out. This apparently gets to Mocosa and she throws something in anger at the door as it closes. It appears Mocosa is jealous of "Saint Doormat."

Princess Fi is correcting Pedro, "His name is Mucks; not Alejandro!" Mucks shows up with Marcela clutching his arm. Princess Fi runs up and plants a big wet sloppy one on him. Marcela doesn't seem too happy with this. Before Marcela can say anything, Pedro says Godmum is asking for her. Mucks wants to know if Princess Fi has received the paternity test results yet.

Fidiota shows up at Emili-Oh's and Dimwit answers the door. Fidiota has a white seagull pin strategically placed on her chest. It doesn't even closely match her red and black outfit. Fidiota wonders if Dimwit is still worried about Granny DS. Dimwit than breaks the news. Mucks is alive! The Orchestra of Impactada strikes an ominous chord.

Mucks is still pressing Princess Fi for the test results. She changes the subject and says how much she loves him. "Do you love Mucks or Alejandro?" Princess Fi claims she's known he's Mucks all along and has loved him for years. Her marriage was a mistake. Whatever. Mucks still presses her for the paternity test results. She wants to know if he's going to marry her. "Show me the test results then we'll talk."

Fidiota asks if it's true that Iggy and Diablo set the fire at the asylum. Dimwit assures her it is. "Pobre Lala, her sons are delinquents!" Dimwit begs Fidiota to not say a word to Lala; it will hurt her terribly!

Kick Me and Mocosa continue to torment Little Doormat. Mocosa laughs evilly.

Fidiota arrives home and Granny M says Roddy is waiting for her. Roddy then appears in the room. "Where have you been? I've been worried," says Roddy. "Are you checking up on me? I've been visiting Dimwit." Roddy says she should have told him, he'd have gone with her. He just loves spending as much time as possible with his beautiful wife!"

We see Lunkhead, Yo, Octopus, and Iggy having dinner together. Yo and Lunkhead have dour expressions. Iggy is going on about how wonderful it is to join them for dinner. Octopus flashes back to when she poisoned her hubby during dinner after stealing everything from Fidiota. Iggy is gushing. Lunkhead insults him. Finally Iggy drops the bomb. Octopus has agreed to marry him. Yo and Lunkhead are impactados! The Orchestra of Doom plays.

Dimwit is in her room as her and Mucks' love theme plays. Dimwit flashes back to seeing Mucks with Marcela. "Are you going to knock her up too?" asks Dimwit to herself.

Marcela walks into the living room, where Mucks is clutching his cocktail. Marcela says she needs to tell him something. She then proceeds to profess her love for him and starts kissing him passionately. Yuck, yuck, and triple yuck!!

Credits roll.

Acorralada #148 Tuesday 8/14/07

I'll keep this short... on Tuesday's episode Fiona's still lying about her pregnancy, Pancho and Sharon are still working together to blackmail Fedora, and Gaby is the last to learn that Max is alive.

Marfil tells Diego to kill Fiona so that she won't have Max's baby and he tells her to get lost. That's when she tells him that if she doesn't, she'll turn him in for attacking Diana. She has the mask he was wearing as evidence.

Dona Santa is in the hospital and keeps moaning that she needs to see Max, her heart tells her that he's alive. She knows he's alive and that he should be with Diana.

Gaby and Larry are hugging in the hospital hallway when Kike arrives (summoned by evil Sharon, aka Chucky). They're about to fight when Fedora walks up and puts an end to it.

In the last scene Max arrives to see her and she makes them promise that they'll always love each other as she takes their hands and puts them in hers. Diana cries alligator tears of pure dolor.

Acorralada #147 Monday 8/13/07 Most have figured out that Alejandro is Max. DUH!

Monday's episode begins with Max and Larry discussing Marfil and Diana. I could have this wrong, but it sounds like Max plans to use Marfil to make Diana jealous. (because that worked out so well when he did it with Fiona). He's not going to feel bad about it either, because she deserves it!

It looks like there's a blossoming romance between Paco and Yolanda. She's visiting him again and she's all smiles. They leave together, leaving Fiona alone at Paco's apartment (didn't he tell her to move out?)

When they leave, Fiona picks up the phone to call Alejandro (she still doesn't know that he's Max) about the baby.... but she's interrupted by a knock at the door that she assumes is Paco coming back for his keys. No dice, honey! It's Marfil and she's after you - that baby you're carrying can never be born because Alejandro is Max! Fiona's surprised, but it doesn't matter to her... Max/Alejandro, tomato/tomahto - whoever he is, he knocked her up and he's going to marry her! If he's Max, he'll have to divorce Marfil first, and Marfil tells her that will only happen over her dead body! A catfight ensues - there's plenty of hairpulling and attempted biting, but really it's just two ladies rolling around on the couch screaming at each other. It gets broken up by Emilio and Caramelo, who want to know why Fiona would be fighting with Marfil if she's preggers. Doesn't she know that she could lose the baby?

Mad Max talks to Silvia on the phone to see if she's delivered his message of love and remorse. She has, but Diana didn't buy that for a dollar! She practically forbade Silvia from saying his name in the house!

It turns out that Sharon y Pancho are old buddies from way back when. She goes to visit him at the room with the industrial size fan and tells him about her new stepmom, Fedora. He knows Fedora and her daughters, and now he has a plan! He calls Fedora and tells her that Sharon helped him smuggle jewels and he wants to meet with her in the morning. She better comply or her daughters will pay the price! Of course she's stupid enough to fall for this and shows up bright and early in the fan room. There, he blackmails her so that he doesn't tell the police about Sharon's involvement in the jewel smuggling ring. She doesn't want Rodrigo to be hurt and shamed by this, so she writes him a check for $10,000. Puh-lease! What kind of bank cashes a check for an escaped convict?

Octavia learns that Max is alive. Since she can't show emotion with facial expressions, she drops a glass to show that she's impactada.

Max returns to Emilio's apartment, where Diana is alone. He knocks and she answers without asking who's there. Odd behavior for a woman who was raped just a few days ago, but I digress. It's what you'd expect from Mad Max - he loves her and he's sorry. She's not falling for it this time. She doesn't love him after what he's done, she hates him and Alejandro! He asks her to forget what he did. How smooth is that? Diana throws him out on his ear, then goes running into the bedroom crying, where Miguelina and Silvi are waiting - they heard everything and they don't understand why she's resisting Max. (UM - WHAT? Are these people crazy?)

Yoland learns that Max is alive. She's so feliz. She also learns that he's a rapist, so she's not so feliz. Larry explains that Mad Max was really drunk that night. Yolanda responds that he'll have to win her back little by little. She's dressed as a Geisha today in a patterned kimono and her hair twisted up and sticking up in spikes behind her head. It's a little strange, but better than some of her outfits.

Fiona tells Max that she knows that he's Max, and that she's preggers, so he'll have to divorce Marfil and marry her. He says he'll do that when she shows him the test results as proof. I can't wait to see how Fi handles this one.

A few minutes later, he runs into his buddy Iggy and Camila on the beach. Iggy runs off to a cantina where Max is supposed to follow so they can have a beer together. As soon as Iggy leaves he tells Camila that he's Max and he knows that she was involved in the fire. She begs forgiveness and he promises to do that if she finds out if Fiona is really pregnant. Camila's quite proud that she's going to betray Iggy, Diego, Fiona, and Marfil, and still win Max's affection!

Dona Santa's in bad shape. She's been taken to Hospital TeleMiami. Fedora goes to casa Irazabal to break the news... Yolanda and Larry appreciate it, but Octavia tells her not to let the door hit her on the way out.

Back at casa Pedro, Marcela tells Max that she's going to marry Leonardo so that her mama will be comfortable. She doesn't love him, but he's a good man, so maybe love will come over time. He advises her against marriage sin amor. Too bad he hasn't figured out that she's in love with him!

Marcela is impactada when Octavia arrives and greets Alejandro with "Max, son!"

Acorralada #146 - 8-10-07 – Friday – So How Long Can Dimwit Hold Out? Place Your Bets Here!!

NOTE: For some reason, my DVR only picked up the final 22 minutes of Acorralada. If anyone wants to fill in the blanks, feel free to do so. I suspect we haven't missed much…Max probably spent the first three quarters of the show trying to beg Dimwit to forgive him and she probably refused. I'm sure Rene and his dimples are still gone and undoubtedly Lunkhead and Little Doormat are still apart.

Max is yelling at Marfil for letting him believe Dimwit had slept with Diablo. Marfil is in tears.

Iggy is leaving another message for Alejandro to call him ASAP. He asks himself where in the heck is that bonehead.

Max is mad that Marfil has been sleeping with Diablo and that she knew about his kidnapping. Marfil denies it, but Max says he heard it from Princess Fi; therefore it must be true.

The detective shows up at Diablo's house to interrogate Diablo about the abuse he has inflicted on his wife, Dimwit.

Sylvie is brushing Dimwit's hair. She must be suffering from hair envy. Sylvie is wearing her best purple Lhasa Apso wig. Dimwit is "fixing to go back to work" at the hospital tomorrow. Sylvie tells her that Max will probably go to the hospital looking for her so he can beg for forgiveness. Max feels really bad for raping Dimwit; he really loves her. . . What, are you kiddin' me?! Are we supposed to hope they end up together? The only ones I want to see together are Lunkhead and Little Doormat (together they have an IQ of about 50), Big Doormat and Rene, and Caramel and Emili-Oh.

OK, now I get it! It's all Marfil's fault that Max raped Dimwit. If Marfil had told Max the truth, he never would have done it. Max tells Marfil that because of her, he's done something that will haunt him for the rest of his life. I guess among Lunkhead, Little Doormat, and me, we have an IQ of 75! Marfil wants to know what he's done.

Dimwit is explaining to Sylvie that love is sweet, caring, trusting. It doesn't cause pain, etc. This is the second time Max has doubted her word and begged for forgiveness. This time Max went too far! She then asks Sylvie if Max put her up to this conversation. Sylvie admits he did.

Max and Marfil are continuing their fight over Dimwit. For some ungodly reason, Marfil wants Max back. Max says if she truly wants to him to believe in her, she has to gather info that will prove Iggy, Diablo, and Camila set the fire that killed so many innocent people. Only then will he consider taking her back. She asks how she knows she can trust him, and that it's not some sort of trap. "That's the chance you're going to have to take!" Max stomps off and Marfil tells him they've not finished their conversation. Apparently they have. She tells us she'll stop at nothing to get him back. Yuck!

The detective is questioning Diablo about the masked man that tried to kill Dimwit. Of course Diablo denies knowing anything about it. Diablo makes it clear to the detective he is separated from Dimwit and what has happened isn't his concern. The detective then asks why he hasn't given Dimwit a divorce. "Don't you find it ironic that someone tried to kill your quasi-ex?" Diablo asks if the detective is accusing him of the crime. "No. I just find it odd." The detective then leaves.

Maxi-Creep is visiting Lunkhead. He is still whining that Dimwit won't talk to him. He can't stand not seeing her! Lunkhead tells him to be patient, but apparently patience isn't a virtue of the new-and-greatly-unimproved Maxi-Creep. He then tells Lunkhead he's using Marfil to gather info against Iggy et al. Lunkhead thinks this is kind of mean, but Maxi-Creep couldn't care less about Marfil.

Pasta and the Big Doormat are heading out. Princess Fi thinks this is the perfect time to call Maxi-Creep and tell him she's going to have his kid (which in reality, she's not). The doorbell rings and she quickly hangs up. She opens the door thinking Pasta has forgotten his keys. Alas, it's not Pasta. It's Marfil coming to throttle Princess Fi. Marfil has her hands around Princess Fi's neck and threatens her, "The kid you're expecting cannot be born!"

Acorralada #145 Thursday 8/9/07 Bride of Chucky strikes again

Re open with Diana fainting.

Diego continues to release his volcanic wrath on Camila for putting him and Iggy in danger by not revealing that Max is Alejandro, blah blah blah.

Iggy arrives at Octy's, and Larry punches him! Yay!

Pedro has a boring scene with Maricela about how wonderful "Alejandro" is.

Octy is angry with Larry for hitting her Iggy.

Diana cries. Silvia wears her purple Pomeranian wig.
Diana says bad things about Max, and Granny M says she shouldn't speak ill of the dead. She doesn't know yet.

Back at Pedro's, Alejandro offers to make Maricela his private secretary. Doesn't matter that she has no experience (she has only been a hairdresser and manicurist). What a wonderful man he is. No, if she only knew. Blah, blah, blah. Whatever he did, the woman will forgive him if she really loves him.

Back at Emilio's the doctor is diagnosing another "emotional fever" for Diana.

Fiona is waiting for the results of her pregnancy test. Commercial!

Max feels so guilty, but he can't tell anyone what it's all about.

Granny M tries to get Diana to eat soup for the vitamins. Diana tells her not to tell anyone what happened, particularly Gaviota.

Godmother is crying about being blind. We've got to figure this won't be long now that Mighty Max is on the job.

Emilio and Diana review the Max situation while Silvia takes the baby to the park. They seem to be hiding the truth from Silvia. Diana has come to terms with her situation by deciding that she will continue to think of Max as dead, where she will only have good memories of him, and she will think of Alejandro as a separate bad person.

Pregnancy test: another commercial, I think
Finally, about 20 minutes later, the results are negative. Fiona is pissed--she needs a baby. Dr. Valladares (I think it's the one who's trying to marry Maricela) tells her that babies are special. She shouldn't be trying to get pregnant to trap a man. She's not interested in his sermons, she says.
No, she immediately calls Marfil and asks for congratulations on her pregnancy nonetheless. Marfil is pissed, because if it really turns out to be Max, it will be another bastard by her faithless hubby.

Kike and Sharon are in the office going over whatever evidence they have that is going to do something we don't know yet. He doesn't like that she likes Larry, but ultimately, he doesn't care. They kiss. Fedora walks in! Thank God! But does this result in both of them immediately being dispatched forever? No!

Kike immediately goes into "not me" mode--she stole a kiss from him. Sharon--she's crazy. He loves his wife and wouldn't do anything to harm her. Fedora seems dubious and says she'll talk to him later at "the mansion." (wouldn't real people say "at home"?)
Exit Kiki.

Max goes to Emilio's to talk to Diana. Granny M says "Buenos dias, Maximiliano." She won't let him in! She has her one great monologue of the whole series. He is no good, and she will never let him see her granddaughter.

Back to the fabrica, where Sharon is smirking up a storm. She says she hopes Gaviota is not scared of a little kiss, little mommy false (postiza). Fedora remonstrates Sharon with a surefire notion: Gaby is Sharon's sister now, and how could she do that to her?

Now Fedora also chastises Sharon for drinking. Sharon's quick to point out that Gaviota has become quite the puritan since she quit drinking.
Sharon leaves, and Gaby comes in, asking "what's up with Chucky?" Gaviota asks who's Chucky, and Gaby explains. Fedora says that she couldn't have come up with a better name--Sharon is diabolical. Well, now, what are they going to do about it.

Godmother and Maricela have some boring conversations about not abusing Max's good will.

Max is still trying to talk to Diana. Granny M says he is a brute and if he takes one more step, she will call the police. You think you're powerful, but you never believed in her (referring back to that long-ago trial for attempted murder of Iggy). Now you come in here with a clean face and beg forgiveness. You will stop treating my granddaughter like a garbage pail. She will not see you. Max says she shouldn't deny him the chance to beg forgiveness.

I think there are a few more minutes left, but I didn't get to watch them. If someone else can fill in, it would be appreciated.

Acorralada #144 - 8-8-07 – Wednesday – How Low Can the Writers Sink?!

We start with Maxi-Moron forcing himself into Dimwit's room, against her wishes, and telling her he's going to rape her as a payback for cheating on him with Diablo. Dimwit repeatedly swears she never betrayed him, but the sinverguenza doesn't believe her. He then forces himself on top of her, pinning her down on the bed, and tries to kiss her. Dimwit is sobbing.

Iggy asks Camila if Camila is absolutely, positively, unequivocally sure that Alejandro is really Max. Camila is impactada and the Orchestra of Doom plays.

Marfil and Octopus are discussing if Max and Alejandro are one and the same. Marfil can't prove it, but her sixth sense tells her he is. So help her God, if Princess Fi turns up pregnant by her Max. . .it's bad enough he has a kid with Dimwit! Octopus vows to get to the bottom of this. She'll confront Alejandro. She's his mother. He'll tell her the truth!

Camila doesn't really give Iggy an answer to his question. I think she said she tried to tell Iggy and Diego before but no one believed her.

More of the same conversation between Marfil and Octopus. Tomorrow Marfil will know if Alejandro and Max are the same.

Camila lamely tries to convince Iggy that Maxi-Moron died in the fire. Alejandro is a different guy. Iggy isn't sure and the suspenseful music plays. If Iggy and Diablo go down for the fire which allegedly killed Max, Camila's going down with them as well.

Princess Fi is thinking to herself that Max/Alejandro has to be hers; it makes no difference which of the two it is. Especially if she's pregnant.

Iggy wanders off to bed and Camila swears she will never admit Max and Alejandro are the same. She needs to convince Max she wasn't involved (although Max is well aware after overhearing her conversation with Iggy on the beach awhile back). Camila is convinced if she doesn't say a word, it will be Diablo's and Iggy's word against hers.

Dimwit is lying in bed looking sad. Apparently Max completed his rape.

Lunkhead walks in to see Octopus drinking tea in the living room. He's surprised to see her awake. She tells him Marfil told her some things that made her nervous, but tomorrow she'll find out the truth. After she leaves for bed, Lunkhead calls Gaby. Gaby wants to know if he's in love with Mocosa. Lunkhead says Mocosa is just a friend. Gaby tries to warn Lunkhead that Mocosa is bad, like "Chuky" (pronounced Choo'Key) the devil doll. Lunkhead thinks Gaby is just jealous. Gaby denies it; pointing out that Mocosa has caused a lot of pain at Psycho Mansion. Lunkhead still doesn't believe her so Gaby tells him to believe what he wants and hangs up on him. Lunkhead and Gaby's theme song plays.

Maxi-Moron tries to justify his actions saying he's basically paying her back for sleeping with Diablo, a man she didn't love. It tore him up inside; blah, blah, blah. It's all her fault. Etc. He's faux crying as he's saying this and Dimwit is just laying there, presumably naked in bed, as Max is putting on one of his too-tight gray sweater-vests. He then tells her they are finished and walks out. Dimwit sobs some more. I can't even begin to relate how stupid this show's writers are if Dimwit and Maxi-Mediocre end up together after this. From my standpoint, there can be no justification for what he just did to her. It certainly isn't true love. I HATE his character, and if I didn't feel some sort of dedication to recapping this show, I'd walk away from it. Time to get off my soap box.

Granny M and Gaby are worried that Dimwit hasn't called them. Although they say it's possible Dimwit is working at the hospital, they can't help but feel something is wrong.

Sylvie arrives at the apartment chattering about trying to make-up with Jorge. When Dimwit doesn't respond, she goes into Dimwit's room. Apparently Dimwit has passed out; she doesn't respond to Sylvie.

Max pours himself a stiff drink and flashes back to the rape, in which Dimwit pleads if he loved her, he would believe she never slept with Diablo. The music let us know that Maxi-Moron is tormented by this. Good. He ought to be!

Lunkhead is splayed out on the sofa thinking about Gaby and how they're never going to be able to be together. The phone rings and it's Max, identifying himself as Alejandro. He needs to talk to Lunkhead immediately. Meanwhile Yolanda appears in Octopus' room. Yolanda tells Octopus that Lunkhead left suddenly. Octopus opines it's probably to see Gaby.

Dimwit is now awake. She refuses to tell Sylvie what happened. When Sylvie asks if Dimwit is trying to figure out what to do about her feelings for Max vs. Alejandro, Dimwit says she wants nothing to do with "him."

Yolanda tells Octopus she's been consoling Pasta and how broken up Pasta is after Fidiota married Roddy. Octopus says Pasta deserves what he gets. She then tells Yolanda that although Pasta is a free man, Octopus will never allow a nun such as Yolanda, who's been abandoned by Rene, to be with her ex-husband!

Lunkhead arrives at Alejandro's. Lunkhead is surprised that Alejandro wants to talk to him at 2 a.m. Alejandro whips off his glasses and admits "It's me, your brother Max!" Lunkhead, true to form, is impactado! It's a good thing Alejandro removed his glasses to prove his point.

Octopus continues berating Yolanda. Octopus doesn't want Yolanda falling in love with Pasta. Yolanda says, "Of course I won't; I only love Rene." Octopus goes on to say that Rene has already forgotten Yolanda. Yoli is not a teenager. Rene is in Germany where he's bound to meet a girl his own age, fall in love, and get married. That's our Octopus, ever the supportive one. She certainly can't have Yolanda happy. . .

Pasta is on the sofa moaning Fidiota's name.

Octopus continues berating Yolanda, who is now in tears. Octopus chides, "You are always going to be single!" Octopus, on the other hand, has found love with a new man. Iggy. He makes her feel great! She reminds Yolanda, yet again, to stay away from Pasta.

Lunkhead still doesn't believe Alejandro is Max. Finally Max convinces Lunkhead by telling him the fire at the asylum was deliberately set by Diablo and Iggy, with Camila's help. Max had to assume a new identity so he can take revenge on his enemies. No one else can know the truth; however. Ah, that does the trick! They lament the loss of Peyote. Lunkhead said Pasta has taken it incredibly hard. Max can't understand why, so Lunkhead tells him Pasta was Peyote's real dad!

Dimwit is flashing back to her confrontations with Maxi-Moron, in which he believed the words of Diablo over her. She then says Alejandro is as big a pig as Diablo! Max tries to throttle her and says don't you dare compare us! Back in real time, Dimwit collapses to the floor in a sodden mass.

Max thanks Lunkhead for explaining Peyote's lineage. Lunkhead then goes on to say that Octopus is engaged to Iggy. Max makes Lunkhead swear not to say a word that he's alive. Lunkhead swears. Lunkhead then wants to know why it's so urgent that Max came out of the closet. Max says something happened that's going to hound him forever.

Dimwit is still flashing back on the events leading to her rape.

Max confesses to Lunkhead that he raped Dimwit. Lunkhead asks if Dimwit denied being with Diablo. "A thousand times," says the cretin, "but I didn't believe her!" Max tries to make himself into the victim after all of this. He doesn't know what got into him. Now Dimwit is really going to hate him. Lunkhead counsels him to find Dimwit and beg for forgiveness. Lunkhead believes Dimwit would never have slept with Diablo. Dimwit is good, pure, etc. Max regrets, rightfully so, that he was such a schmuck. Cry me a river, Maxi-Sinverguenza!

Lala tells Granny M about catching Diablo and Marfil in bed. Before Granny M can fully react, the phone rings. Dimwit begs Granny M to come to Emil-Oh's apartment. She needs her granny!

Probably the best scene of the show. Diablo is told the music school has been sold to Pedro and the name of the school has been changed to Peyote Irrascible. Out walks Max as Diablo is told, "You're Fired!" Diablo is muy impactado!

Octopus is at Pedro's house, but alas, Alejandro has already left. Octopus asks if Alejandro is really her son, Max. Pedro is impactado.

Mocosa has moved into Gaby's office at Perfumes 'R Us. She is kissing her photo of Lunkhead. Gaby walks in and the fight is on, including Gaby hurling the photo of Lunkhead across the room. Fidiota asks what all the shouting is about, so Gaby says Mocosa has moved into her office and has a photo of Lunkhead. Mocosa asks Fidiota, "Are you going to take HER side? Gaby broke a photo of my boyfiend, Lunkhead! Do I need to tell my dad?

Dimwit tells Granny M that Max came over drunk and raped her. Dimwit is never going to forgive him. Yeah, right. Emili-Oh overhears the conversation.

Fidiota makes Little Doormat give Mocosa the office. After Fidiota leaves, Mocosa tells Gaby she's not going to rest until Roddy divorces Fidiota. Gaby calls her "Chuky, the demon doll" and walks out. Mocosa scowls.

More of the confrontation between Alejandro and Diablo. Finally the Music Director tells Diablo to leave or he'll call the police. Diablo stalks out.

Kick Me is in the Mocosa's new office with an envelope. He's brought what Mocosa requested. Mocosa is gloating about "her diabolical plan," although we don't know what that plan is yet.

More of Dimwit telling Granny M what happened. Emili-Oh is horrified. Suddenly Granny M and Dimwit realize he's in the room. Dimwit jumps to her feet.

Pedro denies Alejandro is really Max. Octopus tells Pedro she'll return later.

Emili-Oh wants Dimwit to confirm that Max is really alive. Dimwit tries to deny it, but Emili-Oh wants confirmation he wasn't hallucinating in the hospital when Alejandro admitted the truth. Emili-Oh starts to run off to confront Max about what happened with Dimwit. Dimwit begs him not to get involved; he's still weak after the stabbing. Emili-Oh has already run out and Dimwit collapses. Granny M screams for help and Emili-Oh runs back in. He keeps grimacing as he's trying to revive Dimwit. I guess this is to show us he's not at 100% after being released from the hospital.

Credits roll!

Acorralada #142 Monday 8/6/07 Suspicions continue

Everyone in TeleMiami is still confused over whether Alejandro is really Max. Camila goes to talk to Diana about it, they end up arguing, and Diana throws her out. Immediately the doorbell rings so they assume that Camila's back for more, so out comes the bucket of water! Diana opens the door as Silvia throws a bucket of water onto --- Jorge! Oops. Sweet Jorge has come to bring Silvia flowers and this is how she treats him. Pobre de Jorge.

Ignacio's not worried about the whole Alejandro/Max quandry. He has a plan... He'll marry Octavia! If Alejandro is Max, he won't want to put is stepdad in jail! He asks her, and she accepts. Eeeew.

Diego vists Pancho in the room with the warehouse size box fan where all of the Accorralada criminals hang out when they're not in an abandoned shack on the beach. He wears his Ranger ball cap for the occasion - he always breaks that out when he's up to no good. He tells Pancho that before he lets her be with another man, he'll kill her!

Marcela's mama's bandages are removed, and she learns that she's blind. Marcella is beside herself - what will they do? They have no money, no insurance, they haven't even paid the rent! Alejandro offers to pay all of their expenses. Pedro has no problem with this, his money is Alejandro's money. Besides, Alejandro is such a shrewd business man that he's helped Pedro double his fortune!

The witches are sitting around a table at casa Irazabal while Yolanda paints. I love the ceramic dog centerpiece! Yolanda's sick of hearing them whine about Diana.

Gaby and Fedora are ready to go to work at the fabrica, and Roddy suggests that they ask if Sharon wants to go with them. Fedora knocks on Sharon's door and finds her staring at herself in a silver framed mirror and brushing her hair. Of course she's not ready for a day at the office and they have a showdown which ends in Sharon throwing Fedora out of her room.

Sharon has bigger plans for the day - she's going to visit Larry. When she gets there she sees that he's swimming laps and she wants to join him, but she didn't bring her bikini. No problemo, she'll swim nude! Larry's shocked! Even more so when she goes underwater and comes back up with his bathing suit. He's not sure what to say to this crazy girl.

As luck would have it, Gaby has arrived to visit Larry just in time to catch his bathing suit when Sharon throws it. Larry and Sharon get out of the pool and stand there in all their glory looking like the cat that swallowed the canary. Gaby's disgusted, and Yolanda runs out to see what the commotion is. She's furious and calls Sharon a desvergonzada. Larry tells Sharon that's she's crazy and she says maybe that's just what he needs to forget about Gaby. Triple yuck.

Of course Sharon runs to tell Kike about Gaby's visit to Larry. Kike is not happy. Pobre de Gaby. She's sure to get a paliza for this.

Pedro receives several visits from the ladies in love with Alejandro - first it's Diana who wants to know if he's really Max, but Pedro assure her that he's not. Max is dead and she must accept it. Later it's Fiona who's come to see Alejandro, but Alejandro's not home. But that's okay, Pedro would like to have a conversation with her. (this line really is the best of the show - I love the way he enunciates "conversacion contigo.") Fiona picks up on his tone and wants to know what it's about... he wants to know if he's in love with Alejandro, or if she's just a gold digger. She swears that she's in love with him, not his money. As they continue to discuss Alejandro, Pedro accidently refers to Alejandro as Maximilliano! Fiona is impactada, as is Pedro. (Really - the look on Pedro's face in this scene is priceless!)

Alejandro visits Camila, who wants to tell him to his face that she knows that he's really Max. He reacts by reaching out and grabbing her by the neck and we see her grasping for air. Eventually he lets her go and apologizes for overreacting.

Fedora lets Roddy know that Sharon didn't go to work, simply because she didn't want to. Of course he defends her because she must have been upset over her mother's death. Fedora suggests that she see a psychiatrist, to which Sharon runs into the room crying that she's not crazy. This one really knows how to work the men in Miami! Roddy tells Sharon that he plans to legally adopt her. After they leave the room, Sharon says that soon she will have her revenge.

Pedro tries to talk his way out of the slip of the tongue, but Fiona is suspicious. She tells Pedro to tell Alejandro that she was there and storms out of the room. Pedro berates himself for the mistake, then tells himself that Diana is better for Max.

At Paco's place, Fiona is telling herself that Alejandro or Max, it doesn't matter. She needs a rich man to support her. Won't it be fabulous if she turns out to be pregnant?

Alejandro goes to visit Diana at work. It's a boring talk - he wants to tell her that he'll protect her, yadda yadda. Then she reaches out and touches his lips and says that they feel the same as Max's did. He calls her Azucena. Azucena! That's what Max called her in the sanatorio. credits roll.
