El Dragon #55, 12/17/19: The Great Escape and a Business Expansion
Labels: dragon
I could not identify the blue getaway car, but spotted a gold bowtie on the back which they must have overlooked, indicating Chevy. They block out all manufacturer emblems on the cars unless the automaker pays to have it exposed, apparently. Not a Corvette, which is a two seater though. Might have been a Camaro.
Onward: I wanted the last ePig scene to be him picking up his phone and opening his RING home security app and BAM...there is his bedroom cam and an eyefull for ePig. Carmen and Loco could uncurl his big piggy tail.
Edna has NO CLUE? Really? Nothing? Then if she is no smarter than that how did she get where she is? Stilettos and skin tight pants the other day on a crime scene? Nevermind.
Well, Dora has gone Rogue. There is real trouble brewing between her and Migster. I understand how desirable Adela is, but Miggy needs to come up for air and look around. Dora now sees Jorge as yet another threat to her BIG Secret. A secret which when revealed, should get her tortured and killed.
Epig is riddled with bullet holes, but they take him to Pet Supermarket, and in a couple of days he is up and around. Just needs new clothes?
Aw Heck is targeted too, but survives, but nothing below the waist works anymore. When all this sinks in he will wish he was dead.
Braulio is gutted and almost field dressed in the shower, but after a week in a coma on a ventilator, comes back around and is immediately ready for the great escape and a family reunion?
Recycling TN style?
BTW: Exactly why is this EpiHappy Dragon pill illegal? If it causes a happy time, is not addictive, and has no other health risks, why not just apply for FDA approval and sell it legally?
I understand that dealing with Carlos Duarte and company might actually be easier than the FDA and other Feds, but still, they don't use guns as much.
Kirby: Kenia needs to be exposed sooner or later as the traitor!
This story is becoming curiouser and curiouser. The writers seem to be trying to use up some time with Adela superdriving . She, Ishiro, and Peli have become the avengers.
Is Pig immortal? Was he originally a Highlander? Will they have to behead him to finally kill him ? I have had enough of him.
Mig is supposed to be suave like 007 , but , to me, he comes across as bland , dull, and emotionless .
Braulio has unbelievable recuperative powers. Back with the family and on the road to health and happiness .
I never would have received those Edna as Gloria from Ringo.
Yeppers, Susie amazing what a little makeup and wig will do for a girl.
Well, maybe clothes too. Or lack thereof. WOOF.
No surprise that the Pig still oinks; he can't die until the last episode.
I don't want to see Dora kill Jorge, but I have an awful feeling about what's going on with him now.
Now that we're into Ultimas Semanas, who's ready for another mystery novela de epoca? Or something with more character development than action?
Kirby, you are right. It was not a Corvette because (duh!) a Corvette is only a 2 seater. Must have been a Camaro. Yeah it was pretty unbelievable that Braulio went from coma one day to driving away in an SUV with his family the next. Also, that would have been funny for ePig to have picked up his phone and seen Carmen and his right hand man going at it. LOL...
UA, "the pig still oinks," good one! Yeah they will save his awful death till the end.
Susanlynn, ePig is definitely the guy you love to hate. The actor is doing a good job. But I think I like real pigs a lot more than ePig.
Like the rest of you, I was astonished that it only took a couple of minutes after Braulio opened his eyes (on his own) from a days-long coma that he could walk on his own two feet, let alone crawl in and out of bins.
Shame on the guards for not inspecting the van themselves. They would have found Braulio. It would have been so much more clever for them to do it and find nothing, but they didn't. So, it was the guard's fault Braulio et al got away. Peligros and Ishiro really took a chance there. Since I expect both of them to survive to the Grand Fin, it wasn't much of a surprise they got away. At least my CrockPot Theory was only partially correct. Adela WAS in on the getaway. Clever girl--she must have been watching a lot of James Bond movies and similar genres. It was a bit elementary, though: JB-101.
About Dora--I think they have her splitting off from Miggy to go Rogue so that we can dislike her going against him. Then we won't be as disappointed when Mig finds out she hid Lambert's secret. We know she didn't actually participate, but in our narco tns, keeping a secret like this is treason. OTOH, she may truly believe that keeping Mig, Chisca and Jorge from finding out who arranged for their father's assassination was better for them. However, keeping Jorge in an infantile state, suffering traumas and trying to kill Adela (which nobody knows but us) is enough in my book for Dora to get some punishment besides humiliation and begging forgiveness.
What I don't understand is why Dora hasn't followed up on El Gato's whereabouts. He's really the key.
