to futher clarify your comment (Fea Mas Bella) that Omar and Fernando are looking at a photo of a model--THE photo is actually of Patty Manterola-- a very famous Mexican actress and singer (the star of the telenovela Apuesta Por Un Amor--which I think is her most recent one from 2004-5)

sorry to hear about your cable problem. here's a little of what I remember happened on Friday.

ricardo blume tells Gonzalo that he may be in jail for longer than he thinks.
bertha provokes fabricio into a heated argument - lucas starts barking and attacks fabricio. flor and renata care for the bite marks on fabricio's arm - bertha acts overly concerned and sorry for lucas' attack.
with the continuing money problems, miranda makes arrangements to start selling clothes and tightening the family spending even more - she meets with the pastor to tell him that she won't be able to continue with her donations.
mystery man ("Luciano" - played by Jan, "Santiago" from Alborada) makes an appearance. first he phones Cesar and leaves an anonymous cryptic message; then when Miranda is in an emergency meeting with her board executives, Luciano makes a phone call to end the meeting immediately.

Note: Luciano is the friend and spokesman for Alejandro, who is the mystery shareholder.

oh, and a couple of more things from friday...

julio wakes up - benjamin meets up with Alejandro and Miranda in the hallway in the hospital. Juan phones Fernanda with the news, who was visiting Amparo and Juan's father at their home. She leaves and gives a message to Amparo for Alejandro.

At the hospital, Julio is calling for his sons. Daniel and Angel aren't answering any of the messages Miranda has been leaving for them. Alejandro and Miranda tell Fernanda that they are a couple.

I was interrupted while watching Friday's HDA but I thought Cesar called Luciano, that he got the phone number from Nuria who pulled strings to get info about the reserved shares' owner. Luciano, whose face we don't actually see keeps saying "Where did you get this number" and "Don't call me again" when Cesar tries to initiate the conversation and say he wants to buy the shares. All Luciano says is they aren't for sale and hangs up. Did I get this wrong?

You're probably right about the phone call. i was in shock over seeing "Santiago" in this novela that I got confused about who called who and what they were saying. also, I have a hard time understanding Sergio's mumbling.

You guys are great. I missed this episode, but I was happy to hear that another ''Al'' alumnus has been added to the cast. It seems that there is a lot of recycling done in these telenovelas. Do you ever play the ''What if..'' game like I do?? What if Fernando were playing Alejandro...how would he play that role? What if Adela Norriego were playing Miranda? Have you visualized any other person in any of these roles? Susanlynn
