Destilando Amor Sept. 20, 2007- is being pre-empted tonight
for those who don't know - and a reminder for those who do - Destilando Amor episode will not be shown tonight; it is being pre-empted for the "Latin Grammy Celebra" special honoring Marco Antonio Solis (the guy who sang the theme song for "Mundo de Fieras").

Did you notice the outfit Gavi was wearing to the big blowout? The top looked like some flea-bitten dead critter from the Goodwill, and the bottom looked like her nightgown. Maybe I'm behind in the fashion business, but I had envisened her in a gorgeous, bright colored long dress.

I totally agree with you Alice. Her outfit is frumpy for this event.
Gaviota is also showing poor judgment by not only inviting her mother to a very important business event but letting her bring a friend (Jose) as if this were a neighborhood fiesta. The writers will make them look like the Beverly Hillbillies when in reality, most people would not act like that at such a function.
Money does not breed class but the poor are always portrayed as ignorant louts without dignity in telenovelas at major social/business functions.
Just wait and see.

Obviously, inviting Clarita & Jose is profoundly stupid, especially after not allowing the coven to come. If I were Dr. Coffee or Avellenda (sp?) I would be really ticked at her stupidity. She's put the CRT in a delicate position already with the exclusion why make it worse? Hopefully, this is only a plot device to get Jose to see her son and get the process going on bringing the axe down on Freeloading Frankie.
It will be interesting though to see if Rod is as accomodating with Clarita in front of "his" people as he is when it is just he, Gaviota and Clarita.
I am anxious to see Aaron and Clarita in the same room. I think it could be fun if Clarita starts her baby babble. It may be enough to make him apologize for his treatment of Gavi, after seeing how she suffers at home.

I can't wait for Jose and Frankie [her little Pancho] to meet at the big fiesta. That is going to be GREAT. I hope she finds him while he is talking to the Montalvos !!! Also, it will be interesting when Gavi meets him. The agave is heading for the fan.
