There is some kind of high level financial scamming going on as well. The neer do well brother-in law, Manuel from Amar, is involved and they apparently have had to pay the same bribe twice.

Allegedly lame brother, who can walk, has a fixation on Mili, and is stalking her.

Did you notice that the gold-digger is the sweet Erlinda from Juan Querendon?

The smarmy extortionist, whose name I don't recall, I first encountered in "Destinos" my college Spanish course that got me hooked on telenovelas.

I really appreciate these recaps because I can only catch about 60% of what is going on, and the slang just leaves me in the dust.
 

The chauffeur is getting advice from the gardner who told him to go see a movie. I think he meant Sabrina so Morgan went off and got one. He is looking to get "the look" and in Thursday episode he was practicing his English.

Curly locks is scum, making a bet he can get Mili into bed and plans to have proof by using his cell phone to catch the action.

The Virgin in question is the Virgin de Soledad and naturally Mili didn't have it on when the chance to flash it came up.

Oh yeah and at Mili's party at the orphange Curly showed up with a mariachi band and we got more singing from an actor who isn't a great singer nor a good actor ;-)
 

I thought the mariachi band was in Friday's episode. Anyway, I thought the singing was good in that over-the-top mariachi way, but the lip synching was ridiculous. No way was he really singing. The mother superior was lip synching also.
 

I don't fully understand the bribe thing yet, and unfortunately, I watched only part of the episode before accidentally deleting it. However, it appears that Constancio is holding something over Manuel from Amar's head. We know that Manuel was involved in some drunk driving accident, but is there something else?
 

Actually, the actor that plays Alejandro, a.k.a. goldie locks, is a good actor. He portrayed a blind man in his previous telenovela. The character Alejandro is the complete opposite of his character from Codigo Postal. I think that this shows he has talent and is a versatile actor.
 

You are right riberajoe. Did you also notice that the gold digger is Fatima from the earlier episodes of La Fea?
 

I never saw the earlier episodes of LFMB. I only read about Fatima after the fact. I also don't what Juan Querendon, so I haven't seen her there either.
 

Well what i understood from the money schemes going on was..... Constancio's B-inlaw wants them to invest on some property. He offers the sleezy seller a million but informs him that he shall ask Constancio for two million but one million is his ( i think he wants to use the money on his son. He proposed to his son to go see a specialist but his boy wont have any of it me thinks his son is using this to make him guilty) anyhoo Rocky is supposed to deliver the money, which he does. so when Constancio and B-inlaw dnt hear from Rocky they assume he took off with the cash but he finally shows up.

B-inlaw has already called his sleezy partner who says that he dnt get any money n let anyone say otherwise there will be hell to pay.....knowing he has just been played at his own game B-inlaw insists Rocky took the money lets call the policia.Later proving there is justice in novela land sleezy guy is caught with mucho dinero the is talks of bribe here proving Rocky's innocence.Enter stage is that blonde emitting green evil gases..... dude from amar sin limites he wants some dinero he has PROOF says of sleezy n B-inlaws dealings all he wants is some dinero ( might i say this is one of those guy who attach themselves to rich folk n suck the life out of them for a price )Constancio is not paying up its not his problem he says thats btwn sleezy n B-inlaw.B-inlaw knows he is in a deep pile of sh*t of his own makin he get his sister to help convince Constancio when that doesnt work he tells his sister that her husbands amante is the secretary yep proving he is a soe looser n aint going down alone.... eventually constacio paid up saw the dvd... well u guys know the rest.

You are correct, Regina thinks her grandchild was born 2 months after Mili, so I guess that means Mili was a preemie.
