Caray, Caray!

Jean, I don't watch Traicion but couldn't resist complimenting you on the picture of the Papallacta Pass. I love Ecuador, I love taking and looking at pictures of clouds and especially when the clouds are lower than the photographer. Nice work! I bet it was a wonderful trip.

I have no idea how many days it has been since Miguel got buried, but it is more than two. The Burques are now on Hugo's team. They were living with Dr. Max (also on the team) for awhile, but now they are living in a pension.
He caught Gatita trying to look in his armoire (which either houses his wife's skeleton or her preserved body -- we don't know which). Things are moving fast.
 

Alright, I still haven't really "fallen" for La Tración, and I figured on way to help me with that problem was to join a discussion group about it. My main problem with the novela, is that I don't believe the love between Hugo and Soledad. We saw them meet, and then lived their love story through a video montage with a 3 months later banner. The writers/directors/producers/whoever did not take the time to romance the audience. Anyone else feel the same? I skipped the novela all last week, but I'll give it one more change tonight.
 

Hi CherylNM: I'm glad you like the photo. I took so many pictures trying to capture the cloud forest but most didn't come out very well. I only bring my little point and shoot on birding trips, not my big SLR.
This was my first time in Ecuador and in South America too and I really like the country and the people.
 

Hi Hilda: I don't know. I find the relationship between Hugo and Soledad about as well developed as it is in any novela. They are not about the happy times - only the conflicts and misunderstandings that a 5 minute conversation could clear up but they never happen.

I like La Traicion because I really like Mario Cimarro. I like the character of Hugo and his vulnerability because of the catalepsy. I haven't seen a novela with Danna Garcia before but she is fine. I love the costumes and the whole ambience of the thing.

Basically, all novela plots are the same. It's the actors, the setting and how the writers develop the story that is interesting or not.
 

One of the reasons I like this novela is that it moves. Lots of them get pretty boring in the middle. This one may yet do that, but so far it is keeping my interest. I like the gothic feel to it and its twists and turns. And it's got some very interesting characters.
 

Does anyone know where episodes 19 and up are located on this site. I am following along with the wonderful recaps, but can't find what follows episode 18. Any help would be great.
