Caray, Caray!

This was a good episode. I have only been watching for a week but it's easy to catch on to the storyline. I also ordered the DVD set which just came today--have to get my Mario fix, lol. Juan and Norma are so good together!
 

Oooohh.. hellz-a-poppin' now! Our poor galanes can't beg, borrow or steal 5 minutes with their ladies at the moment, but all things in time. Fortunately, the novela is pretty fast-moving at this point and another story arc is about to pop...

I love watching this for the second time as I'm catching so much more of the dialogue. Juan used a fun phrase when telling Franco he needn't get himself involved in the Big Confrontation with the Elizondos since he specifically hadn't done anything they'd be after him for - "No tienes velas en este entierro," (literally "You've got no candles in this burial"). That was a new one for me.

Felt bad for Grandpa Martin when the truth came out. I've never heard his, "Las pelotas del marrano!" sound so dejected.

I'm going to give myself an ulcer from swallowing all the frustration I have with Sara. I imagine she must have been valedictorian of her class at fiera finishing school. When it comes to metiche, Sara beat out all the other girls in line for seconds. ;-)
 

At least, Norma and Jimena stood up to Gabi and said they are not moving back in.
Poor Juan made me so sad when he said he'd lost Norma. You can see it in his eyes. Waaahhh. :(
