Mon. 9-22 Fuego: So Gabi is a woman scorned...and the boys are movin' on up...to the top...to a deluxe hacienda in the fallout zone (sing it with me)

Well it’s been a long hiatus for everyone, huh. Hope you all didn’t forget what it means to live in our zany world of Ciudad Serdan. The shock might come over you like an ice cream headache.

Welcome back to the boys learning they "won" the hearing and the Hacienda Uribe is theirs now. The boys open the massive hacienda doors and find it’s time to go to FAMSA. Turns out they have no furniture. Juan doesn’t care. Why should they anyway, how long have they slept in their "kid twins" at the old place? Oscar whines, they’ll bring all their own furniture then and Juan chimes in they’ll bring their posse too, because everyone will fit here. Oscar now remembers this place, even Libia running around these rooms and mourns that the parents aren’t here.

Tio says it’s time for him to leave, his mission is accomplished, in the spirit of the sombrero wearing superhero that he is. Everyone thanks him and he is welcome anytime.

Back in Puebla, the losers of the turf war have checked in to their hotel. Raquel doesn’t feel bad, she feels good because guess what, says she’s left them a surprise. Can’t wait to see her idea of a surprise.

The Reyes are wandering through the courtyard when the commisario shows up explaining the house has a lien and they need to pay. Lien? No one said anything about that. Duh, where’s your due diligence three kings.....

Quinti and cutie Pablito are taking a ride in the moto out to the hacienda when the moto cracks up. Amazingly a fully dressed horse is just right there and Quinti finds the solution.

In the fields the boys are apparently trying to till the soil caveman style with an old plow and oxen, poor things. And hacking away with one sickle. That will get them far for sure.

Like moths to the flame they run up for lunch when Quinti and Pab show up on a horse driven contraption.

Rosi shows up to see a sweeping Sofi saying she learned about the store and can help. She convinces Stupid Sofi that Juan doesn’t want to take away the spawn, just care for it, and anyway you know a kid should be with both pas. Rosi continues that Juan has a big heart. Good thing because he sure doesn’t have a big brain. Swimming scenes reveal what else might be big though, wink.

Eva is bantering for the 200th time about getting forgiveness from the girls.

Crabby rejects Tio again. He tells her she can’t escape the past and he knows she’s been fakin’ this whole time and knew exactly who the Reyes were kids of. He said very soon all the truth will come out so watch out. And like the flash he’s out of there.

She tells herself of course she knew and that’s why she wants revenge, especially on Juan who looks the most like his Pa. Ok, obviously there’s some love lost here.

Feo is smooching Raquel, she reminds him Benito is with her. Benito walks up and Feo greets him as easy as taking candy from a baby, or ice cream from a grown man who lives with his Ma. Same diff. He tells him that he won’t have competition anymore from Tumbao now that it’s closed. Feo pats him on the back and thinks that's just great.

Raqui tells Feo they need to be careful so Bene doesn’t catch them. Uh, too late. He sees from afar and wastes his replacement ice cream on his frustration throwing it to the pavement. Not bright, could have been other things to throw down than a yummy ice cream.

Crabby is talking to a lawyer about her daughters’ divorces. That should be easy because there are no kids. The hacienda on the other hand is not an easy matter. Abo fears she might have to lose the lands.

Sofi gets faint, well its about time, isn’t she like 24 months pregnant? Juan shows up and helps her. He wants to carry her things, she says no, but her hands say yes as she hands him the packages.

Juan wants to see her purchases. Stupid man. He proceeds to ruin all her wrapping paper tearing the packages open like a maniac. He wants to give one to her so he buys the red one in name of their passion and gives some compliments in hopes that one day she forgives him.

He tells her of the trick by Raquel and that they will have to work hard to hang on to the place.

He knows she’s mad about the revenge, but if it wasn’t for that they would never have met. They almost kiss, she wants it but her prissy alter ego simply won’t allow it, so he kindly kisses her on the forhead and she ponders this kiss.

Benito begs Eugenia to go with him, what did she decide? After lots of cue card reading she agrees. It appears Rigoberto, who has snuck up in the background doesn’t like this idea much.

Quniti announces at the market that they are all going to live in the big house and need help moving all their naco belongings in, because "nothing was left in the house."

They pack up their kitsch and one by one, the bros kiss Libbi’s picture.

Everyone helps with the parade of junk from the pick up. It really doesn’t look that bad though after they get it set up. They place Libbi’s pic in the kitchen on the devotional shelf.

Crabby tells the girls their divorces will go fast so they’ll go over to the guys to get the sigs.

Beware of the honking SUV, Crabby wants them to sign the papers. Our boys ask the girls if it’s what they want but Crabby says it doesn’t matter what they say, Crab orders it.

The boys say the girls should decide, of course Sara fesses up first saying of course she wants a divorce. The boys say sorry but no deal, nothing will separate us from our women. She offers them money but they don’t want to take it, despite being in dire straits.

Someone rides up looking for Crabby telling her there are people at the Eye of Water urgently looking for her. Oscar gets one last jab at Jime in, but she walks away.

The horn honks as they drive off and the guy on the horse runs after them. The boys’ horse got spooked and ran away...wonder if they caught him.

Surveyors and engineers are measuring the land. Crabby drives up in her honking big black tank. She pulls the whole "these are MY lands not yours get out." She gets sick at this scene so she hugs the tree. Whoops there’s those darn initials again. FR. She is oblivious.

Back in Pueblo, Raqui tells Feo that she left everything leveraged. Feo is proud of her badness. Guess there the loan travels with the property and not the person.

The boys discuss whether they should use the money they won and saved to pay off the hacienda. Juan invited Eva to come and help out. Pablo offers to help too, but they said he must be in school. They rehash the divorce paper incident to Juan, and tell that people went to see Crabbi and Juan recognizes those are the lands in question.

Sofi learns from the girls where they were and why Ma is sick again. They talk about the divorces and Jime doesn’t want to but Sara does so they argue. Just then Doc comes out and says anyone else would be dead, but this damn woman keeps on ticking, but please no more pressure or she may pass. They agree. Oh please God do us a favor and take her to save her from her miserable self.

Mad Crabby is sulking in bed. She feels dead because of the boys. Sofi reminds her the lands belong to them. Of course she launches the classic manipulation response, you are always against me, you hate me. She says no, she doesn’t want anything bad to happen to her Ma. "If you love me you will help me. Beg Juan on your knees if necessary to give us back the lands." Thank goodness Sofi says no. Crabby reminds her, then she is worthless. Nice. Really, with a Ma like this it’s no wonder these gals are all loca and uptight.

Eva is at the hacienda, thankful for the opportunity. Pablo tries to carry her bag for her but it’s wayyy too heavy...

Abue tells Sofi she did the right thing because Ma should not obligate her. He reminds her how selfish and stubborn Crabby is. He tells her that Crabby supposedly knew the Reyes parents according to the Tio. Sofi is impactada.

Crabby is hugging a white box. In it, a photo of a man in charro outfit. She whines to herself why couldn’t he love her and why did he have to marry someone else. For that, her love turned into hate. She was thrilled at his death and especially that of his wife, she muses they deserved it.

Sara interrupts her pity fest to bring Crabi another document that was delivered. There is another hearing.

In Puebla at said hearing, they determine that the lands belong to the boys.

OK REJOICE EVERYONE!!! ACCORDING TO THE PREVIEWS WE WILL ACTUALLY SEE A BABY BUMP TOMORROW!!!! WHOO HOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Great recap...you are so right the ice-cream headache..Hey the plow; my husband said he had start plowing like that when he was about thirteen. He said it was really hot and hard to do and that Juan was a poser. He said it was hard on the toros too. He said they had to rest them alot cause they panted so much. Of course my husband is from the Macho land of Tierra de Caliente, not the cool mountain area of Pueblo.

Now for some constructive criticism..Crabi, for the love of gawd, when you are getting the vapors, try to fall towards the camera, do not put your big purple barney ass up in the lens.
Sarita..you make my teeth hurt.

How can the boyz owe on a mortgage? So the effin bank gave Rachel a subprime loan? How could she get a loan, she doesn't own the house. Wait call George see if she can get a bail out.

Hey Juan, have you ever heard of a tractor? In the land of Escalades and no phones you would think that the Uribe Hacienda had some modern appliances.

The man in the picture that Crabi was holding was Papa Reyes. Juan's father. So Crabi must have had an affair with him many moons ago.
So now the plot thickens again. Did she have something to do with their deaths?

Great recap! You know, I try to like Benito but he is always making that pinchy face thing. He acts like a spoiled little boy sometimes.

When Crabi gets the vapors why don't they just leave her where she falls?

So Crabi knew the Robles-Reyes family....Hmmmm, interesting.

I'll try to do another chapter tonight on our "TN With No Name" that takes place in the "town that time forgot" Unless somebody else wants to.

I was too lazy to look up "hipoteca" last night and assumed it meant back taxes. That's because I was trying to think of something that would actually make sense. My bad.

Maybe the mortgage was used to pay for property improvements, and that's why it came with the property and didn't go with Raquel? I still think that's questionable, but it would be more plausible.

I thought it was back taxes too which made sense. So it was a mortgage?

I don't know but it means mortgage. Even if it was for updates, how can you get a loan for property that you don't own? Is this like short selling stocks?

If she didn't have papers for the property (which she didn't) how could she get a loan? Why would the Reyes be responsible?

That makes sense Beckster but you know this is TN land so anything is possible.

Maybe Crabi had an affair with Papa Roble and got pregnant. She had a baby girl which she gave to Ofelia. And Rosario is her daughter. So she is really the girls sister.
Okay, just speculating!

I was a little bit bothered by the mortgage plot. There are just too many reasons why Raquel couldn't have put the mortgage on the property herself, e.g., she didn't own the property, she's a married woman (or, so we think), the all important title would be bad. She must have been sleeping with an official at the bank. Look, folks, people here get mortgages on houses for reasons just as bewildering.

Tio Vicente - yegads is he ever a caricature of himself. Did he step out of a silent movie, or what? I can hear tinny piano music in my head whenever he appears.

That's funny Pasofino that is what I was thinking when Tio was waiting in the stables. You could almost hear the music in your head. I'm working on installment #3 and hope to have it posted this afternoon. Stay tuned....

Agave y Tequila #3

Dona Olivia was fast but Raul was faster. He snatched the whip from her hand and threw it into the bushes. The look in his eye was so fierce that Olivia took a couple of steps backwards, tripped over a rock and fell hard. Recovering her composure she said, “Get back to work. Come along Victoria.” Victoria said stifling a laugh, “I rode Misterio. I will be there shortly.” Dona Olivia stomped back to the SUV in a huff. “You were justified in what you did but you know she will make your life hell,” said Victoria. “I can handle her,” said Raul. “But I better get dressed and get back to the house.” She took one last look at his beautiful body and thought to herself, “Que lastima.” When she looked at his face she saw something in his eyes that she had never seen before. “I will be watching you, Victoria. Never fear,” he said as he walked away. “Well Santo, what do you think of that?” Victoria said as she gathered up her berries and headed for her horse. “Come on Santo let’s go.”

When she reached the stables Miguel was there to take her horse. “Have you seen my good for nothing brother,”he said. “Oh yes, I “saw” him,” said Victoria. Did he have a run-in with Dona Olivia?” “You could say that,” said Victoria. “Well, then that would explain the mood she was in when she came roaring in, shouting orders even before she got out of the car.” He said with a chuckle. “Thank you Miguel, I must get these berries to Maria.” Victoria turned and walked toward the Hacienda. “Ah, Santo, what did my brother do now?” Miguel said with a laugh. Santo looked up at Miguel with a doggie smile on his face, “You should have been there!” he thought with a doggie chuckle.

After dropping off the berries in the kitchen Victoria went up to her room to change for lunch. She sat at her dressing table looking at herself in the mirror. She still had the black eye which was unfortunate but she would be able to hide it. She gave a big sign and took out one contact lens. Again she looked at herself in the mirror. One blue eye and one brown eye. With another sigh she took out the other lens. Now two brown eyes stared back at her from the mirror. “How long must I keep up this charade,” she thought.
“This wig is hot and I want to be myself.” It’s amazing that she had gone this long with nobody (except Roberto) seeing her jet black hair and brown eyes. Roberto did not like women with dark hair and eyes. One of the conditions of their marriage was that she have blue eyes and blond hair. Now that he was dead she didn’t know why she should continue this farce but she would know when the time was right and would reveal all. As she was putting her contacts back in there was a knock at the door...

Is it possible that Juan's father and crabbi had a love affair and then he married juan's mom? That would explain her comment of how juan looks so much like his dad and her bitterness. Maybe ruth was the off-shoot from her romance with him??????

Thanks for the recap, Fuego. I haven't watched my recording yet, so I'll know which scenes to watch for.

So Gabi had the hots for the papa Reyes. What is that old adage about "a woman spurned . . ." ?

Hipoteca does mean mortgage. I learned that from watching another telenovela. Who knows how Raqi got a mortgage on the land? This is MexiDoon..... anything is possible, just like none of the neighbors remember the Robles-Reyes clan. ack.

Y'all need to be wearin' your Telenovela Beanie Hats, they cut off oxygen and blood to the brain so we don't think about rational things like this. We just bliss out. Or pass out. We're going to need 'em this week, too! (the hats, that is) This is a spoiler free zone but I'll tell you . . . I peeked at the resúmenes. Double ack.

doris

Great recap Julie. I was surprised at how much I missed this show Thurs.and Fri. Did everyone else think of the Beverly Hillbillies when they were loadin' up their truck? And Beckster, "Big Purple Barney Ass" LOL

Connie, I've been away all weekend and threw that goofy TN title on the blog just before I left, sorry I didn't sign my name, guess I was in too much of a hurry. Didn't really expect anyone to pick up on it. Maybe we could shorten it a little to: "Cuidado con Destilando Pasión con El Fuego de los Querido Enimigos" So that it translates to "Be careful when distilling passion with the fire of your dear enemies." CDPFQE
OR we can chuck it altogether, I REALLY won't be offended! By the way, your TN w/ BBQ is INCREÍBLE!
Can't wait for the next episode. Such talent! I like that Victoria is both blonde & brunette!
Jenna

Thanks Jenna. I appreciate your comments. The change in appearance was due to Beckster lamenting that the heroine is always a blonde. So Beckster that was for you!

Baby BUMP? She looked like she swallowed a watermelon whole! Wow, that speeds things up. Here I kept worrying she would lose the baby, but that baby seems like it will make it on screen after all.

Lola, I was thinking about Rosario being a Reyes...of course that makes the whole Rosario/Franco thing kind of gross.

Okay, so Gabby was doing Juans dad, that gives way more meaning to the weird face Gabby was making when Sophia was telling what it was like to be with Juan. Holy cow!

Eva needs to be a pro wrestler. She carts her suitcase all over the countryside in heels no less, and Pablito can't even pick it up.

Did they really expect that the furniture would be left behind? I'm sure Raq had redecorated and it wasn't there moms stuff.

Sarita is really going to have to eat some seriously nasty crow when she realizes how awful momma is!

So if Crabi had an affair with Juan, Sr. and had a baby (Maybe Ruth?)then Ruth who was raised by Raquel would be the 1/2 sister of the Reyes brothers. Boy, that can be confusing.

Does anyone know if they are setting up the bakery in the Hacienda? I thought that they would keep it in town. That would make more sense because of the people who come to buy bread.
And if they owned the other place in town, they could sell it.
That would give them some cash.

Okay, this is very unlikely to be the law in Mexico (or Brigadoon), but if you openly, continually and with "hostility" take possession of lands, and are not challenged for 20 years, you can get ownership through "adverse possession". So Raquel and Ricardo could have done this, and actually had legal ownership of the land when they got the mortgage. Then when the Reyes filed their claim, that adverse possession was overturned, but since the mortgage had been granted by the bank in good faith, it remains a lien on the property, which was required as security for the loan.

Or maybe the writers just made it up any old way they wanted.

Connie, awesome installment on the story. Thanks for giving Santos a thought bubble, very nice. So why does Santos go ballistic with one brother and not the other? Hmmmm

That recap wasn't me, Jenna - it was Fuego de Rosca de Reyes, aka "k". I'll do the next two Mondays, and then after that we'll alternate Mondays. I am SO grateful for the break!

I got the impression that Crabi never had a thing with Juan Jose - can we call him JJ? (dy-no-mite!) - she wanted to, and I bet she assumed that he would be hers, because they were neighbors. And he REJECTED her, even though she's perfect in every way.

But I don't know if there was something she said that made me think that, or if I just imagined it. I do remember Grandpa hinting (ages ago) taunting her about loving someone she couldn't have. That conversation was ages ago, though.

I think Pasofino is right - Raq must have been friendly with the loan officer at the bank.

Connie - did Victoria by any chance used to be a trapeze artist? And was Jack once a lion tamer? (You can say no!)

Julie, that is definitely something to consider! :) I'm always open to suggestions.

Trying to figure this out by any sort of logical deduction of course leads to the aforementioned ice cream headache, but the only way I could see it semi-logically happening is that regardless of whether it was legitimately obtained, the bank has a lien on the hacienda which was used as collateral (via mortgage or whatever) and well if it's not paid they take the house.

As to why the original debtor (not the Reyes) is off the hook, seems like in those parts it's just harder to fight off a big bank with lots of resources and a score to settle than it is to go after indemnity from some 3rd party (who hates your guts by the way) to pay off the loan they owe. Even here you could sue the 3rd party (well ok you could probably also sue the bank for giving out a loan using collateral that the debotr had no rights to, and it can get complicated but if they based it on good faith you might not win anyway) but if the 3rd party ain't got money, what are you going to get? A meaningless judgment in your favor. Lucky you. Bank still takes the property in the end and you are back in the breadshop.

Who knows. If we worried about trying to make sense? WHo would be the insane ones now! :)

I think I'm going to put on my foil hat so all the nuclear waste beams will bounce back up to the mother ship! :-)

What is this Victoria stuff? I guess I missed something...

Ah, just read yours Hombre, that is almost exactly the scenario I was imagining...

On Friday when there was no Fuego I suggested that we start our own telenovela and everyone would add to it and just keep it going. So over the weekend I worked on it and posted it on Friday's blog and Butter Biscuit added the second part and today I posted the third. We need a name and a name for the town. Right now we are calling it Agave Y Tequilla but Jenna had a pretty good name too.

julie - I got the impression, also, that Gabi's love for Juan's father was unrequited love.

connie - Yes! The AFDB (Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie)!!! Just what we need here under our Telenovela Beanie Hats.
http://zapatopi.net/afdb/

Did any of you catch CCEA premiere last night? They had a product placement for FELS.

doris

Okay, so even if Juan Sr. didn't love Gabby that doesn't mean she didn't throw herself at him which could have resulted in an off spring that she ditched. Eva did Don Bernardo and he had no clue. Boys aren't always so sharp when the wrong part of their brain is stimulated.

So if the boys win the rights to the water ways, then they can charge Gabby for water and pay off their debt on the house!

Congrieve "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" sure knew Gabby!

Ah! Cute. I'll have to go back and read the first chapeters then!

Do you want me to copy and paste into today's?

Fuego, thanks for the recap! I think you are right, the yeast is finally starting to rise on that l'il doughboy in the oven.
Pasofino, I think you are being harsh on Tio V. He is a courtly gentleman from a bygone era...waaay bygone. But, those little black currant eyes, what are they hiding?
And, we'll soon need a mini-recap for our TN2 (the one with all the initials). Connie, what a nice little plot twist to have Victoria return to her natural hair color.) Is Misterio possibly a nod to our own Hombre de Misterio?
"Creemelo"

Oooh, almost forgot: I think Crabby did the deed with Papa Robles-Reyes (when he wasn't looking perhaps). I vote she gave it to Raquel, who clearly has a heavy secret she holds over Crabby's head.

I mean she gave the baby to Raquel, of course! Doh! never try to comment when you're late getting back to work!!!
Creemelo.

Cree--I kind of liked the first post! LOL

Could be! I'm trying to get a little of everybody in it whether it is a name, a plot idea, whatever. Who knows what direction this could take. :)

Connie - you have a user profile; that means you have a Blogger account. Would you consider creating a blog and posting the installments there? It'd be easier to keep track of it if you keep the whole thing in one place. Plus, you'll be able to edit it.

(I don't mean to put you on the spot; it's just a suggestion!)

Oh, that's a great idea. I wasn't sure how to do it. So It's like creating my own blog?

You'd better give me instructions. Thanks.

Ok, everybody. I'll concede that tio Vicente is a nice little guy. But, he just uses too much moustache wax. Music, maestro.

I see it Julie. I go to the dashboard and follow the instructions it looks like. We really need a name so I can post it under that.

Lola, it did look like they were setting up the bakery in the new Hacienda. What will become of the Panederia?

There was a law in Mexico way back like the early 80's where you had to spend sometime on the land. My husband went back to that little piece of heaven, cause his name was on the land. Actually land was pretty premium back then..now not so much. There is no work and mostly old people or kids are the only ones left.

Also if you were an American Citizen you couldn't own land..but the Mexican gov't changed that and now they recoginize dual citizenship.
And some people do still plow that way cause, you can rent a tractor from the EL Jefe Tractor guy, but the land produces so little that it is hard to hire a tractor.

Connie, if you can't think of a name, I'd suggest something like diy_telenovela. I'll bet that's not taken yet. "Do-It-Yourself Telenovelas."

If you need to email me, click my name and you'll find a link to my email there.

Thanks Julie for all your help.

Maybe they will just cook in the nicer kitchen and then take stuff to the store for sale. Maybe that is way to logical for them. Are they going to have people coming out to the hacienda to buy bread?

Yeah, I've actually seen those plows still used here too, and not just on Amish farms...I still feel bad for the oxen... :)

You'd think Raqui would have had the latest affordable equipment given her style, but then again, maybe she relocated that along with a whole hacienda full of furniture that we know isn't in their new digs (where did it go? where did it go?) Storage??? :0 Hmmmm....feeling the need for a cap...

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh
Pa Robles doin the deed, no how no way...not in this guy's TeleNovela
He always has him play a really wholesome guy, is the bedazzeled Lady of Guadalope jacket from Mundos already a forgotten item?

Loved the first scene. Didn't matter that the house was empty. So what? Goal accomplished and the boys are all together. Loved the moving in, too. Whatever you've got at the old place, bring it and set it up! Everyone can't have tons of money and an interior designer. Everyone's not born on the "right side of the tracks, according to some folks." To hell with the haters, and work with what you've got.

I liked the "plowing the field" scene too. It was more symbolic than anything--showing that if the boys don't have what they need, they'll simply use what they have. That's pretty realistic. I'm sure tons of people (my grandfather was one of them) tilled their own land when there was no money for cattle. That's strength of character. And that's me getting to watch Juanny work without a shirt, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING OF ALL. Yeeeee-haw! LOL

That lien business is just bogus. Like someone already said, if Raqui had no papers of ownership, how could the bank have loaned her anything with the hacienda as collateral?? BAD (or incomplete) writing, you boobs.

Get on your knees, boys, and thank The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost that you all weren't your dad's buns in Crabby's "oven." Eiiiuuuuwwwww!! I'd rather be dumb and country than be any one of the Elizondo girls. Ugh.

Gawd, I wish Franco and Oscar had signed those divorce papers on the spot. Sign those papers, get rid of those idiotic broads who CAN'T EVEN SPEAK UP FOR THEMSELVES, concentrate on your lands, make sure Juan gets his parental rights legally declared (to hell with Slowfia), and get it together, all ye Robles-Reyes. Let all the Elizondos huddle the way they insist on doing in The House That Time Forgot and self-destruct together. (Can anyone tell I've HAD it with that family?)

Laughed Out Loud when Feo took Benito's ice cream cone and started chomping on it. That was hilarious.

No more pressure or Crabby may pass?? Oh, so sorry. The Crucifix Queen set all this crap up with her evil machinations, so she's going to have to deal with it. Go ahead and die, then.

A baby bump is coming? *breaks my own neck trying to get a glimpse of the thing, ouch*

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Rosca de Reyes!

Connie--you read my mind. I was going to have Vicky hiding her true coloring, because becks had a valid point. Heh-heh. Good job.

The boys should sell the Panaderia because they need cold, hard cash right now. And they have a great new kitchen to bake in. Franco should get the band together and get to singing for their supper. Too bad Oscar didn't keep doofus Jimena's shoes when she left--he could have taken the receipt and returned those suckers.

I don't recall... did anyone see Mariachi during the move-in? Where is that dog?

Thanks for the great re-cap! I liked the episode too, grandes acontecimientos!

I noticed that they did mention that the tractor and farm equipment had been taken, along with everything else, (all the stuff is at the Puebla U-Store It).

I liked the plowing scene...almost as much as the swimming, and yes it showed character, that they would pich in and do what it takes to salir adelante.

I've also had it with those two snots! After all this, they still could not speak up for themselves?? What is the great attraction here anyway for our boys? Fate, I guess, you just don't argue with twooo wuuuv.

Sofia gets credit though for standing up to Crabi this time, there were some synapses firing up there after all.

Molly, right on! The weird scene with Crabi and sofia makes complete sense now, the orgasmic desperation and regret.

After last night I don't think she had anything to do with the murders of the Robles-Reyes, she was just happy that it happened.

There is something else going on. I don't think the story line with Tio Mafioso is a dead end. I think something is going to come out, we don't know anything about him or what he's done in the past, or about Uribe for that matter, and remember what a violent man he is, we keep being reminded.

Will Pedro Reyes be able to forgive his father when the truth comes out? Even if he did entregar himself and is sitting in jail?

I'm sad about the Eugenia thing,I want my Rigo to be happy, but obviously she's just been going along, not really that into him. Can't think of any other maidens in the wings for him.

There's also the mystery of the Ojo de Agua. Something must be hidden there. Crabi is afraid of anyone even getting near it or else they'll "discover everything.

Okay, is it just me, or does anyone else think all the flashbacks of the Reyes boys as kids didn't look like they took place in that big fancy hacienda? Didn't they always look like they were in a gloomy shack?
Pasofino, you are right, Tio does go heavy on the mustache wax, but I hope the writers find a special lady who will appreciate him. Not Quintana unless she loses the clown lipstick.
Connie, I like the foil hat idea, but not to keep nuclear beams out. I think it's to keep your brain cells in when your head is about to explode (think of the old Jiffy-pop popcorn that you held over the burner until the foil thing started puffing up).
Oh boy, baby's on the way, woo-hooooo!
"Creemelo"

Creemello, I think the flashback of the murder, with Juan hiding under the bed, looks like a nicely furnished room. The other ones, not so much.

Okay, let me see. Sofia goes from flat belly to baby bump to giving birth in one episode. Did we miss something?
So Crabi really did know Don Robles. Maybe she was once engaged to him.

Waaaaa! That's not Sofia's baby crying, that's me because I missed the ENTIRE episode due to an unavoidable social event that ran overtime.
"Creemelo"

I think I'm going to call our TN "Para Siempre..." Where is last night

My computer is fouled up again today. Where is last night's post?

Lola - the baby bump appeared "meses despues"... months later. If we figure three months, she'd be in her 12th month, so she'd darn well better have a bump.

The new recap hasn't been posted yet. Please be patient.

Sorry Julie. I didn't mean to be impatient. I just wanted to be sure I hadn't missed it.

If you rely on the del.icio.us page to find new recaps, you might consider bookmarking this page instead. True, it lists all of the recaps, not just the Fuego ones; but it automatically updates itself whenever someone posts a recap.

Since putting something on delicious is a separate procedure and we have to post the recap to the blog first anyway, the page I linked to above will list the new recap before delicious does. (Probably only by a few minutes, but if you want to see recaps RIGHT AWAY this will do it).

Or you can just check the main Caray page, obviously. But if two recaps get posted at the same time, the one you want may not appear at the top, and it'll be easier to miss.

Oops! I didn't mean bookmark it instead. I meant you might want to bookmark it ALSO.
