Cuidado con el Angel, December 3, 2008
We start off at Ceci's house where she tells Estephania that she could not find Marichuy.
Cande, PA, Marichuy and PA's sister are having dinner. PA notices that Marichuy has not touched her food in which she answers that she is not hungry. She asks to be excused to walk around outside. While walking she comes across a hurt dove and she picks it then sits down. El Leopard comes across her and asks who she is. He tells her that the owner does not like to see strangers on his land and Marichuy runs off.
Balbina tells JM that a lady is here to see him about the nanny position.
Cande is waiting outside anxiously for Marichuy who comes running up to her. Marichuy tells her about her encounter with a strange man.
The lady's name is Blanca Silva and JM interviews her for the nanny position.
The lady with the rollers and her friend spot Olga in the street on the corner and yell out "Loose woman". We told your daughter that you are a hooker. They cross the street and Olga slaps each of the woman and tells them not to mess with her. (this was funny) She continues walking down the street and Cande's neighbor (do not know her name) calls to her and Olga tells her that the Velardes are Marichuy's parents.
JM hires Blanca to watch over Mayita.
Olga and Cande's friend are talking about how the Velardes treated Marichuy while she was residing in there home. Adrian runs up and asks if they have seen Cande or Marichuy. Cande's neighbor says that they left Mexico and do not know where they went. Olga informs Adrian that the Velardes are Marichuy's parents.
PA sister tells them that the owner sometimes stays out late and she may not be able to talk to him about them staying until the morning. She tells them that she will make up a couple of rooms and will talk to him first thing in the morning. Cande offers to help PA's sister fix up the rooms. PA assures Marichuy that she will be staying there and not to worry.
JM and Blanca are talking about Mayita. He tells her about her duties in regards to Mayita and that she has to live at the house which is no problem to her.
Eduardo comes into the library and meets Blanca. When she leaves Eduardo asks JM who she is. JM informs him that she will be Mayita's nanny. JM asks him what he thinks. He says nothing. She is not ugly or pretty. JM says that it was his intention to hire someone who was not interesting or who had a forceful nature.
Amador visits Nelson and Elsa. Elsa asks him about Marichuy and he tells them that Marichuy disappearred and left Mexico.
Marichuy hears a horse and evil laughter and sits up in bed.
Amador tells Nelson and Elsa that Marichuy is the real daughter of the Velardes.
Isa calls Estephania and complains about the house cleaning that she has had to do. She asks if Estephania has gotten to stay but Estephania tells her that Ceci is still suspicious of her and wants her to leave. Ceci also wants to bring Marichuy to live at the house but Marichuy has disappeared.
Marichuy wakes up Cande and tells her about the noises that she hears. Cande is half asleep and babbles then goes back to sleep.
Ceci tells Patircio that Marichuy has left and no one knows where she is. Ceci thinks that she left because she found out that they are her real parents. Patricio snottly says that she should be happy about finding out. Not really Ceci answers back because of what happened while she was here, how you treated her and how I did not defend her. Maybe she moved in with JM. Patricio tells Ceci that it is not possible since JM's first wife Viv is back.
JM remembers back on the night of the wedding when they are on the beach. He says that he should seek her out. He misses her and cannot forget her.
Marichuy is outside sweeping with Cande sewing. They talk about Marichuy growing belly, if they can stay there and how scared Marichuy was the night before.
JM is examing Viv and Eduardo asks him what he thinks. JM thinks that Viv returning back to the house might help her.
Estephania goes to JM's house and finds Amador waiting to speak with JM about Marichuy. Why asks Estephania. Because Marichuy is having JM's baby. Estephania takes Amador to the library to talk further.
Marichuy runs into El Leopard and he asks what is she doing in his house. Marichuy tries to tell him to ask PA's sister but no he wants to hear it from her. PA's sister runs up and says that she has been waiting for him so that she can talk to him.
In the library Amador tells Estephania that Marichuy left so that JM would not find out about the baby. Estephania asks him why he wants JM to know. Amador says that the baby is in the way of Marichuy's career and if JM takes the baby away he can get her back. Estephania tells Amador that it is not in the best interest for him to find out since Viv is now back. While they are talking JM comes home and Balvina informs him that Estephania and Amador are in the library talking. Estephania says that if JM finds out about the baby then he will want to get back together with Marichuy and then will not permit her to become an actress. Just then JM comes into the library wanting to find out what Amador wants. JM asks Estephania to leave them so that they can speak and she tells him that Amador is here for the same reason that she is. To inform him that Marichuy has disappeared.
El Leopard is not happy that there are woman in his house. PA's sister asks permission for them to stay so and that they will not be in his way. He says okay as long as they leave him alone.
PA, Marichuy and Cande are having breakfast and PA's sister says that they can stay.
Estephania tells JM that Amador came to find out if he knew where she went. Amador believes that he does not know where Marichuy is and leaves. JM wonders where she went.
PA wants to thank El Leopard for letting Cande and Marichuy stay there. She says that she will relay the message. PA remembers meeting him several years ago and his sister tells him that he is not the same guy he use to be. She admits that at times she is scared of him.
Blanca comes to start work and encounters Onelia. Onelia spits her venom and leaves.

JM tells Mayita that she has a nanny. Mayita looks upset and when JM asks why she says that she does not like anyone except Marichuy. He makes a promise to her that if she does not like Blanca then they will find another. He will be very busy and needs someone to care for her. He informs her that her mother is back. Balbina informs JM that Patricio is here to see him. Patricio asks JM if he knows where Marichuy is.
PA thanks his sister for everything and assures Cande that he will be back soon. Marichuy begs PA not to forget them and they walk him out.
Back at the castle Patricio asks if JM is hiding her since Viv is now back. JM is offended and tells Patricio that they are no longer together. Then why did she leave asks Patricio. JM says that he does not know.
El Leopard creeps up on Marichuy and startles her. Marichuy asks why they call him El Leopard.
Tomorrow: Ceci asks if PA knows where Marichuy is. And Marichuy yells at El Leopard to stop whipping an animal.

Once again, I am completely confused. Didn't Stefi tell the blond caller that the position was filled? But she showed up anyway? Are there two characters? I think there's someone new in the credits playing two characters.
She looked very disguised, and also looked like original Betty la Fea with blond wig and no braces. When she introduced herself to Onelia, it looked like she was lip synching different words.

thanks so much for these recaps they're soo helpful!! i am dying for JM and Marichuy to get back together but everyone is soo against them. why won't stef get lost now? she's just this huge itch that won't go away. JM has too much going on now with Viv, Onelia, Stef and this new teacher that it seems like him and Marichuy will not be seeing each other for a veryy long time.
i'm so tempted to watch the episodes ahead on yt but since i don't fully understand i don't wanna ruin it for myself any futher without ur helpful recaps.(cuz i already sneaked a peek at some plot developments) i'll try to control myself hehe :)

aww I feel so bad for JM, he doesn't deserve all these bad ppl surrounding him (Stef, Viv, Onelia). he's such a dream guy. I feel for MC also she must feel so alone... without Cande she would've been so lost.
also, could u detail what JM and MC say when they're talking to whoever? i try to understand as much as I can but it's especially hard to understand MC and her slang and speed of talking. since they are the 2 main characters their stories are the most interesting to know about in detail.

The actress playing Blanca is the same one that played Whoresula in Pasion. Her name is Maya something, the last name is Polish. I think it's funny that, after playing someone as boisterous as Ursula, she is now actually described as "desabrida" (bland).

The blond lady that is hired by Juan Miguel is Bianca and also Ivett. This is how it is credit in the casting charts that I looked up in the beginning. This is all I am going to say because I will be in danger of spoiling what is going to happened in the next couple of the show.
I was waiting for Rene Strickler’s character to be introduced into the story. I thought his character would be a lot different than how he appeared and acted towards Marichuy. He (El Leopard) is mysterious and frightening. What were the noises at night that Marichuy heard? I heard the horse, but there were other noises such as laughing. I wonder what was going on out there in the middle of the night.
The hacienda is huge to me. The surrounding area is beautiful I think especially where Marichuy went with the dove to lay back next to the pond. Close by to this site is also where Marichuy sat with the Padre. I like this new padre. He and Marichuy are so good together. Lots of people are against Marichuy, but she still have people like the padre who support and love her. I was touched by the hug that Marichuy and the padre shared by the pond. I thought Marichuy cries a little bit there.
WHY DO EVERYONE SEEM TO WANT TO KNOW WHERE Marichuy is all of a sudden? People didn’t want her around such as the Velarde household. Even Juan Miguel was harsh to her when she came by to talk with him. Marichuy was hurt and felt rejected. Now he is thinking of her again and thinking of seeking her out. MAN! Make Up your mind, I thought you (Juan Miguel) choose Vivana. He told Marichuy that he was going to help his wife who needs him. He was going to get back with her. I don’t understand. It is too late because Marichuy is going to be gone for awhile I think. Personally I think this is good. She is away from the mess back at the city. Besides this Juan Miguel has too many women that he has to deal with.

Oh, yes, that actress from Pasion--of course! I knew she looked familiar, but with this new getup I couldn't place her. These actors really do play all kinds of different parts.
Having just watched the entire DVD set of Amor Real I recognized the Blanca actress (in AR she played Marie/Marianna) and since she always plays sexy schemers, I got goosebumps immediately. Bet she whips off those glasses, tumbles that hair and goes after Juan Miguel (I mean what normally functioning woman wouldn't?) Not a spoiler. I never look ahead. And I'm often wrong. But just knowing that actress was picked for the role makes me wonder. Even had that vibe when we heard her talking on the phone and all we saw was long blonde hair...always the sign of a vamp...no? AND she's going to be living in the house. Figure she's be a great foil for Estefania and Viviana...bet our girl can whip both of them one-handed. But of course I'm still rooting for Marichuy to win the day.

OMG! I busted a gut laughing when I finally realized where I'd seen Blanca. Yes, lawd, vASSco and his wealthy tart Whoresula are back together again. They had some pretty hot scenes back in the day on PASION. It is weird seeing her play this role. I laughed even harder when Onery refused to shake her hand because she was the "help," and Blanca just laughed in Onery's monkey face. jajajajajaja!
Why is that roach Estefy still scuttering around the castle when she has absolutely NO ties to the place? (Onery and Mayita don't count, that's B.S.) "Let's just go into [JM's private sanctuary] so we can talk in private." Like it's hers or something. She wouldn't be traipsing around my place, all in my personal rooms, I tell you that.
The rollers almost came out of that woman's hair when Olga wailed on her. LOLOL
Thank you, Virgencita, that Chuy is far, far AWAY from all the asses who have made her life miserable. All of them. Feels like a weight has just slid off my shoulders. I didn't think I would like this part of the story, but I do. Chuy being away from that toxic environment is such a relief. (Yes, from you too, doofus Adrian.)
Viv is a piece of work. She's got to be faking! She needed a way to get back into the fold, into the castle, into the money, and boy, did she nail that on the head or what? Amazing.
Poor, poor JM. His life is just a horror show. :( And the worse it gets, the better he looks. Yum-nummy.

welcome back, Stephe. I had forgotten that Ursula and Vasco were together at the beginning of Pasion. Good catch.
Thanks Gloria! I laughed out loud when I saw that Blanca was Ursula from Pasion, remembering most of her scenes with William Levy were in her underwear. She might turn out to be a bad character, but I loved the way she laughed when Onelia put her down. I'll bet she can take on Onelia & Isa & Stef with absolutely no problems. I hope Mayita likes her, that poor child needs someone constant and dependable to watch out for her.
I too am glad that Marichuy is away from all the vipers and will hopefully be able to carry her child in peace.

Onelia never changes. She wouldn't shake Blanca's hand because she doesn't shake hands with employees. What crap! She was evicted once and hopefully she'll get evicted again. Unfortunately, her equally evil daughter will be coming back and JuanMi will have both of them to deal with at the same time.
Once again - he should turn Vivi over to someone else. Professional ethics is not a high priority in novelas. And, yup - JuanMi gets better and better looking in each episode. He does sad so good.

Yes, this nanny will not be Mary Poppins. She is either playing the role of two people or has a split personality. Just my thought. I was thrilled to see Maya playing the part of Blanca. She heated up the screen (among other things) in Pasion. I hope she gets the opportunity to show off her subperb acting skills. I am even more enthused about the show now that she is here.
I know opposites attract but I can't fathom how the pairing of animal-loving Marichuy with hunter (and apparant animal abuser) El Leopard is going to be believably portrayed. I hate cruelty to animals in any form so the preview really upset me. I'm hoping Mari is able to reform him and quickly. Diana in MA.

Thank you Gloria! This was a fun episode. My favorite part was where Amador, who never gets bossed by anybody, actually got out-maneuvered by Stef and actually subsided almost meekly. Har!
I’m confused by El Leopardo’s actual name. I had written down a few days ago Anselmo Contreras but he’s being called Omar by Micaela. So maybe Anselmo is the departed dad?
I’m betting he has some heartbreak in the past that has made him a madman, but that he will fall for Mari and get healed. It was interesting that Micaela didn’t give any sort of explanation for why these people wanted to stay – you’d think she’d plead their case when she was asking.

I don't know about you guys but I'm still having a hard time picturing MC with Leopard. I wonder when she and JM will be together again.
Did you all notice JM still wearing his wedding ring? Is that still his wedding ring from his wedding to MC or is it suppose to be the one from his wedding to Viv to signify that she (Viv) is back? Confusing - too many women. And most likely Ursula (I forget her name on this show) will get into the action too.

With Blanca's fakey-looking hair and constant fiddling with her glasses, I thought, "this woman is obviously in disguise." But why would she need a disguise to get a nanny job? Would JM or someone else have recognized her from somewhere?
JM needs to hire all kinds of security for his house, and maybe get some locks. He's got all kinds of nasty people just wandering around in his private spaces, and he really shouldn't have let Onelia come back, knowing how toxic she is. I would have just checked her into the asylum along with Viv.

I think the wedding ring is from his marriage to MC as he has had it on even when Viv was "dead."

Good to see you again too, NinaK! I had to take a break from the telenovelas to meet a deadline, but I kept caught up as best I could.
I didn't realize how happy I was without Onery around until we saw her again and the food in my stomach hurked up. Blech.
Stupid Estephy. Unfortunately, that is what roaches do...once they get in your place, they hide in the walls then scurry out of cracks when you least expect it to get in your business. They are residents who don't pay rent. Somebody needs to come down hard on her with the heel of their shoe, then sweep her carcass out the door for the ducks to snack on.
