El Cuerpo del Deseo, Wed. Dec. 10 - Ángela and Antonio get married

PJ/S checks out the recovering Moncho. Cantalicia continues to refuse to return to Las Cruces. Father Jacobo has come to Rio Claro to look for her though.

Ok, the big event is Antonio and Ángela's wedding. While the movers load up the Dominguez's stuff to leave the Donoso house and Walter is chomping at the bit for them to leave, Antonio disappears. PJ/S convinces Ángela to go out in the car with him. Miracle of miracles, she doesn't wear one of her tarty cowboy outfits but puts a on a nice dress! PJ/S takes her to a church where Antonio is waiting. Initially, she says that she doesn't want to have her situation force her into marriage.

However, PJ/S convinces her that he is an emissary of her father by giving her the "little shiny tear" (pequeña lagrima brillante), the diamond necklace that belonged to her mother and that PJ promised to give her on her wedding day. PJ/S tells her that he believes she loves Antonio and should marry him.

Thanks to the circumstances, PJ/S gets to give Ángela away.

PJ/S is overcome with emotion during the wedding.

PJ/S embraces Antonio and Ángela after the wedding.
Ángela and Antonio return to the house and Walter, who thought he had not only gotten rid of the former proteges of PJ but was going to be made the new administrator of the house and get to move into Abigail's room in the house, is crushed. Now the family he hated so much is staying around and has new privileges as relations of the co-owner of the house.

Enjoying the benefits of marriage, Antonio and Ángela get to have sex in a real bed instead of an old couch in the attic.

Thanks for the summary and shots Jean. I loved watching PJ/S wiping those tears away. I was ready for someone to ask if he was crying and Mr. Macho say that he had something in his eye. When Angela started walking down the aisle by herself I was a little surprised, and then glad when she double backed to take PJ/S's arm so he could give her away. All in all, it was a very tender scene.

I was a little surprised Abigail was still thinking about leaving, her first grandbaby coming and all, but it looks lie she'll be reluctantly staying for a while.

Did anyone else crack up when Rebeca talked about how she hated it when the poor got a little power and started acting like they were equal to their betters? It wasn't very long ago that she was living in a little town and had to beg Isabel for asylum because she was flat broke. She's such a hypocrite!

It also amazes me how so many characters in TNs (and perhaps some in real life) swindle their way into getting some money, then treat people who have no money but develop ties to other rich people like they were a bunch of opportunists. Guess they figure all are like them.

Jean, you know I always love your pictures but the third one just got me. I don't know why - maybe cause he looks so tender. Thanks again.

Margarita, I agree about Tia Rebecca (I think the same can be said of Andres). I used to feel sorry for the Tia because she was so delusional about PJ/S but her treatment of Abigail and her boys is inexcusable. The actress is doing a good job of playing an annoying villain.

During their chat Gaetana told PJ/S that he was pressuring Isa to off Andres. He told her he was just testing her to see how far she would go. It seems the writers want to absolve him of guilt so that he can indeed have a happy ending with one of his ladies. Maybe someone should let Isa know that it was just a test before she goes through with it.

Okay the last line of the recap made me start laughing. It's hilarious but it's so true. I don't think Antonio and Angela ever did it in a bed before they got married.

At this point, both PJ/S and Andres are very similar. Both men want Isabel for her body and have no qualms about using her to get revenge. In a way, she is a victim. At the end of it, Isabel wanted someone who'd love her as she loved him. With Andres, she got obsession and with PJ/S she got a man bent on vengeance.

I often wish they'd given Moncho some more dialogue. He's a bright kid and is often the voice of reason when his mother starts her weepy wails.
